Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, and welcome to the Spirited Actor Podcast with me
Tracy Moore. I was a casting director for film and
TV and commercials for over thirty years. I transition to
a celebrity acting coach after I cast a film New
Jersey Drive with executive producers Spike Lee and director Nick Thomaz.
I audition every rapper from Biggie's Balls to Tupac, and

(00:24):
I realized that rappers and musical artists they needed help
transitioning to acting. My clients consist of musical artists from
Buster Rhymes to Eve, Missy Elliott, Angela Ye from The
Breakfast Club, and Vanessa Simmons, to name a few. I
also coach sports stars and host as well. I feel

(00:45):
I have the best of both worlds. As a casting director,
I know exactly what they're looking for, and as an
acting coach, I can coach you to be remembered in
that room. Now I know, I know actors want to
get the job. I get that, but being remembered by
casting director that is powerful. And now it's time for
meditation of the day. Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only

(01:10):
light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only
love can do that. Dr Martin Luther King Jr. I
have this theory you guys that especially now during COVID
racism and judgment that continue in this world today, the war, inflation.

(01:36):
We can go on and on with the laundry list,
but I have this theory because of the history of America,
that things have been going at this pace, at this idea,
at this movement, at all of this energy, because nothing
has changed. We continue to build on this land, on

(02:00):
this country with more hate, more darkness, but expecting light,
expecting positivity. So this is where my theory comes in.
My theory is that we shift, and it's a slow process,
but we continue to shift in light and we continue

(02:20):
to shift in love. Then, and I believe only then
two changes happen and we create a new world and
a different energy. Today. I will continue to stay optimistic

(02:40):
and positive about our world at large. Before we get started,
I'd like to remind everyone to look out for my
new show Inside the Black Box. I'll be co hosting
with the Great Joe Morton. Will be on Crackle Network
real soon. I'll keep your post. Did Welcome to the

(03:01):
Spirited Actor Podcast with me Tracy Moore. I do not
want to call my guest, a guest. I want to
call her my soul sister. She is truly one of
my friends that in my mind, I'm like, she's my
friend who just happens to be a celebrity, Like you know,
that's her gig. She's greeted what she does. But I

(03:21):
can honestly say that this friendship developed way before our introduction,
way before we talking about when we first met law
on the New York walking past. Paul. Yeah, we are
going to We're gonna start there and then we'll move forward.
But I gotta you, guys, I'm so happy to be here.

(03:44):
By the way, Tracy, you know how much I love it. Olivia.
You guys, Olivia long got please put together anything for you? Tracy,
Oh my god, when you talk about somebody being there, like,
um wow, I'm not doing this, but yeah, can we

(04:04):
save that one for later because I okay, all right, okay,
so listen, you tell me how you want to guy
at the show. So I'm with you. Start with our
introduction and then we'll go right into my new single. Okay,
oh yeah, yeah, yeah, we definitely yes. So you guys,
I got a phone call from this gentleman Paul who

(04:26):
was the manager of Olivia at the time, and I
remember my cousin, my cousin, Well, I wasn't gonna say that,
but you know, I'm all about families, so yeah, and
you are and you are so yes, because I'm the
same way Miles worked on the show. So I got
a call from her cousin, Paul, and he was inquiring
about private sessions, actually sessions with Olivia. And I remember

(04:50):
when I first saw the video Candy Shop and I
was like, oh my god, like I could see as
a casting director all these different roles, specifically leading woman
and and even like definitely Angelina Jolie's type of roles
as well action thriller. Till then he calls and I'm like, oh, man,
I would want to meet her. And so we decided

(05:13):
to meet in Manhattan at Starbucks in like one of
my favorite areas in Yu the Village. My phone dies, you, guys,
just just I'm getting ready to call Paul to basically, guys,
we cannot find each other at all. Now Paul and
I are in the Starbucks and I'm like, I don't

(05:34):
think she's getting our messages, Like her phone is going
directly ra It's a voicemail. So Paul is like, well,
let's go outside, maybe we'll see her outside. And I'm like,
we don't, we don't know what she looks like. Paul,
Oh my, we are we gonna tap every person and
that that that might not be a good idea, so
they might think we're doing something else, you know, so

(05:59):
you never it rself. Oh my god, but wharious go
ahead tell them? Okay, okay, okay. So we're walking, we're walking,
we're looking up and down the street, but we're literally
on the block because we told her, you know, we
all said we're gonna meet at this particular starbus. So
she's finally coming down the block and we're walking the

(06:19):
opposite where we're walking towards each other. Don't ask me how,
And I think you said it first as we were
walking by each other. She turns and she goes and
he goes, and we go, oh my god. It was
a slow motion for me, but it was so genuine
because we had no idea what you look like. And

(06:40):
I always told you, I said, your spirit, Tracy, your
spirit is so gravitating. So he was like, that has
to be her, and you know what, like, I love
the fact that like, well, I must have covered this
up because I in my heart and then like my
face and body, I was like, I don't know where
they are. Help. That's that was because you guys, this

(07:01):
was pre social media and you know, I think we
were still on skytail back then. Yeah, I guys could
look that up right and then yeah, so I was
like oh, And then when he turned around and he
said Tracy, it just I was like, thank you, God,
thank you, because I really wanted. I really wanted. I
did not want to miss this meeting. I didn't and

(07:24):
I was like that it taught me a lot about
charges that day because Miles and Radiance were always on
me about that. So that was a good lesson. But
from there, you guys, like that was our intro duch
and it was just as um, I don't want to
say weird, but all of our moments have been oddly extraordinary,

(07:46):
is what I can say about you. And I Yeah,
so no, I'm really thankful to have you in my life,
not just as a friend, as an acting coach, as
my fairy godmother, guys, that's what I call her. So yes,
I love you. I when when I sat down with Olivia,
like my I just remember my brain going crazy, like

(08:09):
you have to you have to write something for her.
You have to write, you have to create something, you
have to do something. And true story you guys. I
literally sat down, like a couple of weeks after meeting her,
this idea came to me and I was like, Olivia,
I wrote this short. You know, take a look at it.
It's called People and is God because it's all in timing.

(08:35):
You know. It was during that time for us to
develop our relationship and work together. But now it's like
people is coming back around again, and I can't imagine
anybody like everybody in there. I want in there, you know.
And as my friend and trusting me as a director,

(08:57):
Olivia didn't question. She read this up and she's like, Okay,
what we're doing, What's like, what's going on? Yeah? No,
that was a great process too, Like that was I
mean just our sessions, you know, guys. So I would
have private sessions with Tracy. I think we did like
two or three days a week. Oh my god. When

(09:18):
I tell you, Tracy is the best acting coach with
she shades on you. I'm so glad that I have
a good memory because I didn't so I don't know
what you would do, but like she brings out the
best and an acting coach like you tell people what
to do without being um you know how some people
can be really harsh or just really cool with how

(09:40):
they come across with how you like, you don't want
somebody like Okay, I can see if I needed to
cry in a scene, but we ain't doing that right now,
you know what I'm saying, Like you have to bring
it across effectively so that the you know, the actor
or actors actress knows how to do their job without
humiliated or that they don't know what they're doing. Thank

(10:00):
you so much, Olivia, Like I truly I felt that
in our sessions. I feel like that in real life,
like you are so everything that you said I believed
and I wanted to do right. I remember sitting in
Starbucks and just asking you general questions like what do
you want to do? And you know, do you want
to films? You want to TV? And in my head

(10:21):
saying don't tell me because I'm about to and Olivia
and I would be off to meetings of casting director.
You know the first casting director Mellis and Diane, she
picked you up and she fell in love with you
and everything that she touched from Supermodel and then after
that the man in three B and in three B yeah,

(10:45):
and then after that. You know, this is the timing
thing because we're talking years ago and now the family
businesses on BT which we had you know, talked about
during that time. But time me. But the point is
is that all of these things just started moving and
coming together and you started working as an actress and transitioning.

(11:05):
I never not believe that you weren't going to do it,
you know what I mean, Like because you're successful, wanted
to tea and makes sense for you. You just need
a little templates and techniques. We do have to shout
out Shawn Baker for us better than my laugh because
that one's coming out now. They just did another private
screening in Atlanta, so I cannot wait for you guys

(11:30):
to see my character and Emily character. So you guys
are gonna love it. And this is the thing that
this you talk about relationships, you guys. Sean was the
director of Supermodel and for a Conspiracy X where I
first met Kalita Smith your girl too, yeah, which is crazy,

(11:52):
like full certain right, So you guys worked together twice. Yes, Yes,
that's amazing. So Olivia tell because you know we have
a lot of creative bees on the set, you know
who some people are transitioning, But for you, I think

(12:12):
it makes sense and still as a leading lady and
all of those roles in what she said you wanted
because you don't age how do they make that transition?
How did you make that transition? Now? I don't really
know how I could say how I made it. I
just always knew I wanted to make the transition. So,
you know, as far as me, whenever I'm in a

(12:34):
studio and everything, like, I would call you and I
would say, okay, can we do some lessons? And you
you put me in and we work it out. And
that's what I mean about I just I made sure
I always intertwined my acting with my music no matter
what I was doing, you know, because I was just
coming off a tour when I first met you, and

(12:54):
I feel was like, no, I want to do acting.
So I have to start at least getting into lessons
and what I'm supposed to look like feel like my actions?
How do I learn how to cry? How? You know?
All of this stuff that I know I'm going to need,
so I just made sure I incorporated it. And I
think unknowingly in the candy shop video at the end,

(13:15):
fifty and I are going through, well, he's going through
the drive through and I'm the teller giving him the food.
Shot director Jesse Terrero, because we did many videos, um,
he was like, no, I want you guys to just
do a little a little skin like. We didn't have
any script, so that was me just coming off of
the top and I was like, okay that. I think

(13:36):
that's when I felt I might be a mighty doing
this acting thing, you know, like you know how something
that click. It felt like, all right, this could be
something else with my music, and I believe that that's
when it was born in me. And I don't know
if the audience knows this, but I felt dramatic vibes

(13:57):
with you because of your music, because like your music
you write from you a soul, like you use words,
you know, the way you It's just it's that music
that you could day dream too, or you could see yourself,
the wedding song, all of you know, like that's what

(14:17):
I grew up with, and so I like to paint
pictures with my music. So you can visualize exactly what
I'm saying, and I was gonna say in your music
you're a storyteller. So for me, I felt like, wow, dramatically,
she's going to kill it, right. But the surprise was
how funny you are? Like you guys, my immediate circle,

(14:42):
you guys know that, and I'm starting to show it more.
Oh my god. But what's crazy is during certain things,
people never wanted to show that side of me, and
I don't understand why, because I mean not to scoot
my own horn. I really am hilarious. Huh No, you guys,

(15:03):
You guys, there are several nights like I think this is.
There are so many best things about Olivia, right, But
for me, Olivia is my happy thought. And what that
means is I can go to any different scenarios that
I have been with and just crack up and start crying.
We are we going to tell them that story about yes,

(15:25):
you're gonnack story. We have a story. It did with
the Hong Kong story when I tell you because Holly,
we're stretching time here because I need them to know.
So then the comedy side, it was like, oh, man,
like then you're you know you have all the elements
to be all these different characters that you want because

(15:47):
you have those emotional ranges. And this is what I
was gonna say about them not wanting to show the
comedy side. Right. So on our show A A Shameless
Plug Inside the Black Box on Traculty V with Emmy Award,
Winnie Joe Morton, we had and Tracy More thank you,

(16:09):
I'll taking up, thank you, thank you so much to Olivia.
And we had Kim Williams, who is now the vice
president of ABC and Disney Casting. And Kim said, to
this day, Olivia, they these studios still see light skinned,
beautiful black women as leading women. And then she kind

(16:31):
of took a pause in her breath and then she said,
and black women are other m and And one of
my questions was like, why is it that the world
evolves right now we have billionaires, Now we have your
multi hyphen itse singer, actors, Entrepreneurable book, like we could

(16:52):
the list goes on, right. Why is it that as
the world change, we still in storytelling want to keep
these stereotypical images or ideas in our mind. And how,
you know, how do we break that? Because that's to me, Olivia,
that would be why they would eliminate that comedy for you,
because you represent a different type of leading women or

(17:18):
mistress or whatever in their mind characters, and so they
got to keep you in that lane as opposed to
right being able to do everything every that's one thing.
I mean. Unfortunately that comes kind of in all industries
in different shapes and forms, and I wish it was
not that way, because every person is not one dimension,

(17:42):
you know, for people who don't believe, because some people
really think that they can't do certain things because they've
been put inside a box. They have so much more
to give. It's just like I heard that sort of
about you know, the lion in the cage and the
line doesn't know anything else because it's always been in
a cage and the suit. But he knows there's something
else figger out there for him, that he's meant for more,
but he'll never understand that because they have a team.

(18:05):
So that's what I feel like most people don't realize.
And the messed up thing is you just have to
push so hard for people to understand or for you
to tell them, no, I can't, I don't just do
sexy stuff, or I just don't do action stuff. I
can do comedic stuff like I can do serious drama
stuff like I and and unfortunately, I really feel like

(18:30):
it's more people of color that they pushed you, because
I feel like you see other people able to play
so many different roles us. Like you said, it's usually
the vixen, or it's usually the sexy office worker. It's
always something they are over sexualizing us. And I have

(18:51):
to go to my girl, Pambreer. And I remember my
husband was and I was like, did Pam always have
her moves out like this and it? And he was like, yeah,
black woman. And I was like, oh my god. And
I feel like it's still being done. Yeah. In two.
I mean, I think that the great thing is is
that there's oh and I wanted to say this two

(19:13):
ladies and gentlemen that Olivia talk about a businesswoman, like
Olivia owns her songs, like publishing correct, like on the
business side of the music, she writes her own music.
Like I'm saying this for a reason because in the
eighties when I was coming up, my daughter's dad managed UTFO,

(19:34):
Full Force and Colchamp and so there were you know,
a lot of kind of Shenanikins going on UM with
publishing ownership of Masters. I just remember indirectly here in
this language, but Olivia knows the business and understands the business.
So I want to give you kudos for that, thank you.

(19:56):
And I gotta give kudos to Faull for that. My
first manager with is also my cousin, because he had me,
uh do my first production label in like shoot. I
think I had that one since like oh four, and
then you know, now I have another new one of course,
but I've always kept a label. I've always had um

(20:17):
my papers in order. So that's the good hard The
hard thing will always be finding people to trust with
that information though. That's what I do want to say
to UM the next generation coming up who wants to
be UM in any of the cyper entertainment industry, just
please make sure that you have a great team. And
unfortunately you might have a lot of those snakes, but

(20:40):
you just have to weed through them and be patient
with yourself because it's not your fault, you know. UM.
Sometimes we are trusting to a fault, but that's okay
because you don't want to not trust the right person.
And they're like, well, I'm trying to do X Y
and Z for you and you don't believe that I
can do that, or you're thinking I'm doing this X
Y and Z because you're dated. So I just want
to say, because that's a great segue into Loving hip

(21:03):
Hop New York. I mean, you know, what was your
takeaways in terms of experience because you you had live
action experience in terms of the Manna to reeb by
then and then loving hip hop, uh New York. I
think that's the order, right, Um, well, actually Loving hip
Hop New York was first. There was first. Okay, Yeah,

(21:26):
shout out to Mona Scott young Um from Violator because
she was actually part of our management team over there. Okay,
when Mona had first came to me about pitching this
idea if I wanted to be on it, I was like,
of course, I'll come into the officency what you have.
So when she told me, I was like, Okay, this
sounds like it's gonna be, you know, a great thing.

(21:48):
We're all thinking sex and the city type stuff. You know,
I forgot when we were originally calling it, but we
were just excited because there was nothing like that that
she was saying was on TV. You know, so we
actually aired I think it aired in two thousand and ten,
so that's why we just had the ten year anniversary
that you all just last fall me on. Also, I mean,

(22:10):
it's it's a totally different beast doing reality TV because
you really don't know what to expect. And at those
times in the beginning, they didn't tell you, you know,
who's going to come into the room or what the
situation was because they wanted those messed up moments. Are
those to come out of your mouth? You know? Now

(22:33):
they're doing it much different. But again, it's it's totally
different from scripted TV. But I will say that it
was a fun process, oh yeay, because I you know,
I enjoyed watching it, and you're right, it was so
much more authentic back then, and so you know, we

(22:56):
live sort of um uh, real time with you when
we were watching that and real time you know. Um,
that's where I just saw like you more as a
businesswoman and starting to own and take it. And you know,
because the idea I think in terms of you guys
having managers and agents is they're taking care of the

(23:19):
business aspect. You're still aware of your business, but you
could just take a breather and continue to focus on
your creative being and your energy and stuff. Um, but
this business is not nurturing, not for it's not for
people who don't have fixtions. Um, you really have to

(23:44):
you have to know your stuff, you know, because it's
not it will tear you apart, you know. And you
just have to be you have to be faithful in
your purpose. I'm going to hit a lot of bumps
over the road. I might go down the wrong street,
but at some point I'm a calm up the right mountain.
And that's all you have to keep going. All I
gotta do is just trust Olivia and and the spirit

(24:07):
just keeps leading right because I'm like, I want to
get everything in. So then you say that, and I'm like, wow,
a great segue to say that Olivia held me down
in the hospital with Miles. You guys like Olivia. Listen,
Olivia would roll up like after a p m. If
we got her prior to that, we could, But most

(24:28):
of the time, Olivia's hours between eight and eleven midnight, right, Yes,
I remember being in the in the room and say
things to Olivia like like we would take pictures with
Miles sleep and we were in I see I see you, right,
I said, Olivia, we are gonna get in trouble for
this one day. You guys don't understand how how that

(24:52):
was and how how strong and still my bubbly self
but not over doing it because I know what you
needed at the time. For those who don't know, Miles
was an a terrible accident and he was in IC.
Miles is Jersey stunn Um. And when you first told me,
I like literally dropped everything I was doing it. Like

(25:14):
you said, my schedule was so crazy, and I was like, nope,
I know I'm done by like eight or nine o'clock.
I don't care if I'm there at midnight. Tracy. We
would try to cheer Tracy up. We would play spade
to just make her a laugh to, you know, just
bring some type of joy to her face so that
she wasn't always so disheartened with what was going on. Guys,

(25:35):
we would pray in the room. I would tell her Moles,
It's gonna be fine. He's such a strong young man.
And I've known Miles since he was probably what like ten, Yeah,
he was little. Yeah, he had a crush on you.
I had to talk him, you know, like settle and
cut it out. That's Auntie, but little that was like
one of the toughest things I went through with you

(25:57):
as a friend. And just be being able to hold
your hands through that meant so much that you even
wanted me there, you know, So that that was a lot.
I'm I'm glad I got through it. And know me too,
because I I mean, I did, I do have one
this rolling here, but like I got it, but she did,
and and like it was the best part of my life,

(26:20):
like even to this day to have and and at
that time, you guys like Olivia would call me up
and say listen, I would have a barbecue and Sarayan
I Sarian just like a little marsh bellow because I
have a picture with Olivia Soria Osida put Soria's hand
down their pants, like, al buddy, you gotta you gotta

(26:43):
really are you gonna just say it like that? Y'all? So, no, guys,
I used to watch Mary with Sojun all the time.
She's like bad at story staged a right so and
al Bundy was my fredit. So if you guys used
to watch it, and he used to put his hand
in his pants when he came from from work watching
the TV with you guys put your hand on your
stomach with her. But it was in the top of this. Yes,

(27:05):
it was hilarious. We were watching the movie when she
did it. We watched a movie. So Ryan's just sitting there.
Oh my, she was just so she was always so
calm and so wrested that she was with me, and
I loved what as soon as Olivia came, she would
just gravitate you. I was not there, but what made
me want to mess with her that day? And you
were so wrong because you were like, oh, I gotta

(27:27):
get a picture. So I literally have so Ryan bows
with her hand and her pants and she's sitting on
me and she just sat there. Yeah, Ray isn't snapping away,
and I'm like, We're gonna torture this one. That's why
I was like, we're gonna get in so much trouble.
And I was like, Miles, one day, is gonna see

(27:49):
this picture and say, you and Olivia were taking pictures
of the I see you when I was in a
comba and I was like, well, you know, like we
didn't look at it like that, Miles. We just wanted
to know. No, honest, we we really knew, and I'm
hard of hearts that mom was gonna recover you, guys,
like again, we wanted to pick your spirits up and
shout out to my cousin Jackie because Jackie, Yeah, Jackie,

(28:10):
Oh my god, I was gonna say, I have pictures
of Jackie too, man. I mean, the moments that we've
had together, be it personal or business, I treasured them too,
Me too, me too, because it's like it was so familiar.
It was so familiar, Olivia. From the time we did

(28:32):
the exchange. That's where it happened. That's where the magic happened.
Because there is no way I and I didn't even
see you, Olivia. That's how blind I was, you know.
I was just so focused on let me get to
Starbucks and and at least worst case scenario, they will,
you know, be at Starbucks. Right, So that was where

(28:56):
the magic. But when we got five minutes, we got
five minutes. I want to talk to about the new single.
Let's talk about Permission. Let's talk Oh my new single.
It dropped today, guys, May twelve, and I'm so excited.
No Permission is the name of this single, and I
want to shout out my producer HV, which stands for

(29:19):
high volume. He his tracks are just like magic with me.
You know. Um. I met him the first time in
Miami in the studio. Somebody thought would be great together
and they were like, you know what, We're gonna be
in the studio this day and I'm like, oh great,
I'm in Miami two in a session and they was like,
you gotta meet HB. And the minute I met him
and he played the first track, I was like, Oh,

(29:39):
this is it. I'm gonna do like five or six
songs with you on the album. And that's exactly what happened.
So we have no permission with him. And if you
have not heard it, you guys have to go out
and get it. It's on all platforms if you need
anywhere to get it, or you can always go on
United Masters dot com to get it from that site.
But I am so happy at how much I've evolved

(30:01):
with my songwriting because again I paint a picture with this.
I'm very sexy on this record, and I absolutely love
the writing because once you hear what I'm saying, especially
when I go into the hook, the visual you cannot
not see what I'm saying. Oh my god, I am

(30:22):
so excited because the other thing too about you as
an artist, you get Olivia As a live artist, what
you hear authentically on no permission, you get authentically and more.
When I used to go to the live performances, that's
where I used to fall out because I was like,
oh my god, it's almost like and I don't want

(30:44):
to say that you purposely hold back on you know,
the recording. I'm just saying that you're one of those
artists that you really get everything and some that you
came for when you go to time. Yeah, it's it's
different when you're on stage because the energy of the crowd.

(31:06):
And then thank god, they always would ask me to
do more and I would always end with an acapella song,
you know. So yeah, I love doing impromptu stuff like that.
So I cannot wait to perform this new single for
everybody because it's it's like I can already visualize. I
just want to have like a guitarist like the Sexy

(31:27):
bo Oh my god, it's gonna it's gonna be crazy.
Like I cannot wait to get back on the road
and once all my new tour dates open up. Since um,
thank god, the pandemic has is. All the tour dates
will be on my page world Wide Olivia dot com,
ww dot world Wide, Libya dot com, or you guys
can go onto United Masters dot com and you'll see

(31:48):
all the updates. Oh, I'm going on because I mean
it is. It's a performance like I just remember leaving
your shows so happy and so satisfied, you know, like
and vocally because you hear your range. But no, you
don't understand. Olivia's range is red lies like I heard

(32:10):
notes like I don't know what that is? Is that
a Z? Or why? I don't know? I got a
credit back to being brought up in the church, so
that's where I get most of it from. When I
tell you you guys, I'm doing mad backflips right now
because we have had the guest of the guests on
the Spirited Actor podcast with me, Tracy Moore. This is Olivia. Everybody,

(32:34):
please stand up, put your hands together for Olivia. Long
God and Olivia where she's not going away. We're still blessed.
We have our for class in session. But Olivia, I'm
gonna let you tell the story after class in session
because that's a good story along with class in session Okay,
so you guys just sit back and we'll be back

(32:57):

classes session. Welcome back to the Spirited Actor Podcast with
me Tracy Moore, and you are still blessed to have
Olivia is still here. Yea, So we are going to
do this is one of my favorite segments, Olivia, where

(33:19):
we have we bring on spirit Actor alumni and they'll
do a scene for you and whatever criticism feedback. Jules,
you want to drop, you have the floor. First, I'm
gonna introduce Elsa asan who is my right left side
wonder woman. Elsa puts all she cast and does orchestrate

(33:39):
all of this. Elsa Olivia. Hi, Olivia, Hi everyone. Today
on Classroom Session, we have two of our Spirited Actor alumni.
We have missed Destiny McMichael and miss me A Smith. Okaya, Hi,
how you doing good? I can't wait to see what

(34:01):
you guys do. Yeah, I'm excited. All right, So ladies,
are you ready? Yep? Yes, all right? Growing Pain written
by lean A Motto Interior Museum of Ice Cream Day.
Vivian watches from across the room how her little sister

(34:24):
Melissa and their dad interacts. They're like sidekicks, best friends
who do bad even better together. Melissa heads over to
bit here sis. Do you have to try these twinkies?
They are deep fried? Mm hmmm. That was a really

(34:49):
sweet moment watching you and Dad. One moment. I'm saw
Dad create that diversion with all those people just so
you can get to the twinkies first. Oh, you know
that he robbed a little boy for snickers if he
had too, No, I don't know, but it's special that

(35:13):
you have that with him. It's more than dad and daughter,
you're really friends. Well, hey, no one knows Dad better
than you when it comes to his ways. You know
you've been around the longest. You don't even have to
try and fix it, sens. I've made my peace with
my relationship with Dad. I'm just saying for you, cherish it.

(35:37):
You have no idea what you have. It's unless you
don't have it. And thanks for always including me. You
didn't have to. You've made me feel special and thought
of like I mattered to you. Guys, are you do?

(35:57):
You don't even have to say anything what I want to?
So can you hear me out? Sure? I know you're
older than me much older. Um, and I know that
that you and Dad may have been robbed of years
and time together. But he looks at you the same

(36:18):
way he looks at me, And I mean, come on,
you're the most like him, annoying in all your ways. Hey, now,
don't forget, I'll whoop your ass. All I'm saying I'm
saying is give dad a chance, you know. And maybe
he didn't know what he was doing before, but he's trying.

(36:39):
He's trying now, and we don't all get it right
the first go around. And lucky for you, you are
a dope little that's there to tell you. You swear
you know something. I know you're moving too. Slows the
uneaten twinkie out of Vivian's hand and runs off eating it. There,

(37:01):
runs behind her and snatch her up. See great child, ladies. Nice, Okay,
let me have a throw it to you. Um. So first, Destiny,
I love that you started already by eating, because you
were ready. In your scene, you was like, I know
what I gotta do. I'm a little kid. I'm gonna

(37:22):
go for it. And I like your energy. Nia. I
feel like I want you to trust yourself more. I
feel like you know the actions that you want to do,
but you're thinking about it before you do it. But
if you trust yourself, it'll flow so much easier. You know.
It's so cool here you give feedback to these ladies

(37:47):
because it's like, you know, just based on her experience
and watching her journey, it's like she could be coaching
and teaching herself, like she's trust I learned so the best. Tracy.
Oh yeah, I was doing to you real quick our story.
Oh my god, Okay, are they ready for the story? Alright, guys,

(38:09):
So we're going to um one of one of my
good friends video shoots. Buster rhymes. Right, we're in the city.
Tracy does not drink. All right, this is the disclaimer.
Tracy does not drink. But of course the nice friend
in Olivia is like, no, you have to have a drink.
We're gonna go to the photo shoot. Buster wants me
to just do something real quick. It's gonna be quick,

(38:30):
Like we're literally the restaurant was on the corner. We
literally had to walk fifteen steps to the hotel. Guys.
So Tracy catches herself getting a martini. Again, Tracy does
not drink. Why are you drinking a martini? Like I'm
drinking because Apple Martini is great. She drinks the drink
down like it's juice. Guys, it's gone. So I'm like,
oh my god, okay, great, now we have to go

(38:51):
over to the shoot. We gotta get her together. And
we're with Tigger right you guys saw him from betting
the base. So we're walking across. We're not like really
paying attention to Tracy because again we're fifteen steps from
the hotel that we have to go meet him after.
We purposely met right there so that it would be
an easy segment. We get into the elevator now and

(39:12):
something Think and I were just talking and we just
felt like, let's look at Tracy because she's really quiet.
We turned around to look at Tracy. Tracy has a
button up shirt on. She had a button up shirt on,
like all of the buttons were opened, like down to
the middle, all with her thing, and we were like.
She turns around and she's like why are we looking

(39:32):
down at her like that? She's like, oh my god,
why did you guys tell me? And we're like, we
thought you wanted to be sexy for the video. Shoue like,
we're not gonna tell you how to rid your clothes.
So basically, Tracy was tipsy and didn't know. She opened
up the game as the doors are opening before we
see busted. She's trying to button up her stuff. She's like,

(39:53):
oh my god, and she's like so disgusted with us
because we didn't tell him. I'm like, it's however, you
want to dress some and you sawing you holding her
shirt like this pay buster, and she's so mad at
us because we still didn't tell her. And then that
was the se But can I just say this, you guys,
this is the friends part, right. I told Olivia when

(40:15):
I had that drink. Before I drink that drink, I said,
Olivia watched me. I told her and she said, I
got you, girl, I got you. You were you were
telling you guys like sears, you guys, my bro, my chest.
Everything was exposed, like when those elevators doors closed and
it was a mirror. I was in shock. And they
turned around like we thought, you want to be sexy.

(40:36):
I've never been sexy. Is a naked drinker? You get
her and drunk, something's coming off. And on that note,
ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together, stand up please
and get the single today, no provision, Oh thank you,

(40:58):
and we'll be back on the spirited actor where I
have to give love and cleanse myself. There you here,
and now it's time to give love. Sort it out.
When we have a lot on our plate, we feel
really overwhelmed, but we need to take a moment to
slow down and just go over these things one at

(41:21):
a time. I wake up every morning grateful, meditate, pray,
and then I have usually a laundry list of things
that need to be accomplished that I know I'm not
going to accomplish all of them in one day. Then
I started to feel my breath. Then I started to
feel like, wow, am I starting to feel anxious? Well,

(41:44):
I stopped doing that. What I do now is I
rely on prayer because prayer is peace. I asked for
help we all need it, and I trust that the
universe and the spirit are going to grant my wishes
because it's important that we all understand. We will survive,

(42:07):
we will thrive because God doesn't give us more than
we can handle. Don't forget to look out for us.
On our new show, Inside the Black Box, my co
host will be Joe the Legend Morton. It's going to
be the Spirited Actor Podcast on steroids, will be streaming
on the Crackle network. I'll keep you posted. Thank you

(42:29):
for joining us on the Spirited Actor Podcast with me
Tracy Moore. I look forward to our next Spirited podcast.
Thank you
