Speaker 1 (00:00):
Trap nerds tramp really like you never heard were in
this piece.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, Welcome to another excited episode of the
Trapped Nerves Podcasts.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
I guess doing. I'm so proud of you. You got
through that even though you're feeling bad. Good job. Nobody's
supposed to know that. Keep secret. That's all right. We
don't want you, you know, winding down in the middle
of the episode and people are like, what happening, zebra?
Speaker 1 (00:29):
We shun, y'all got messed up the letting y'all know.
I should be okay right end of the round y.
How is your week? Uh, I've been straight. My sleep
schedules kind of fucked up. But shout out to everybody
and then be up with me at like three in
the morning playing PlayStation Uh ship we almost yeah, we
(00:55):
just game hopping like a motherfucker right now since I
be h ship. We we started at Hallo Assassin cub Halla.
Other than that, we're just chilling. I gotta do this
twenty four hour this week type shit, well last week.
If we're speaking on the episode of the type shit.
But isn't it I'm kicking it. Didn't you do one
of those recently. Uh no, it was like three weeks ago.
(01:19):
It's like I try to do one once a month,
and my days are really blending together. That's why it's
so bad. Bro, Like, I'll beat bro.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
I usually wake up at like six in the morning
seven randomly. I woke up thirty minutes ago.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
My week's been pretty good. I we finally got to
play Dark and Darker. I haven't really gotten play since
it came out, and I wish there was a voice chat.
I missed voice chat. I miss people talking down the
hallway and asking if there's a rogue somewhere. Only to
get it is do you know what the extraction genre is? Yeah? Yeah,
(01:58):
So basically it's that mixed with Skyrim or a gameplay.
So yeah, imagine swords and magic and that type of
gameplay where you dive into dungeons. If you die, you
lose everything you know. But it has saying talking about
it on Twitch. It's it's really fun. Yeah, especially I
(02:24):
don't know, I like the progression I like because Tarkov
I feel like doesn't do this very well. Is when
you die, you in Tarkov, you have no progression. I
mean maybe they do, and I just don't know what
it is. I don't know that game is confusing.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
What you mean, Like when you start, you lose like
every everything you gotta do that start from the ground
up again.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
In Tarkov, yes, well and Dark and Darker, you get
like a starter set, which I mean it sucks, but
at least you get something. You get something every time.
And then you also get XP so you can level
up your your class and uh, you know, kind of
get skills and stuff. So even even though you die,
(03:03):
if you die in there and you lose all your loot,
you still gain something for going in at all. And
I feel like that system is much more rewarding than Tarkov,
and it's been pretty fun. I really enjoyed it. I
also found out that if you do door Dash and
you have their bank just called Dasher Direct, if someone
steals your information, you're probably not getting your money back.
(03:26):
This dude, or rather someone stole my card info earlier
this week and made a bunch like literally drained three
hundred dollars out of my account, and I've been trying
to get it back all week, and I finally got
someone to help me to get some forms going, and
there's like, well, it's probably gonna take like sixty days.
(03:49):
It's awful. And along the whole way, they try to
make it your fault. They're like, well, why did you
let someone use it? And I was like, I didn't.
I didn't let anyone use my I don't. Did they
get you got hacked or something? So get hack? No?
Speaker 2 (04:07):
No.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
So I believe I know where it happened because some
years ago I had my card information taken kind of frequently,
and I found out it was at a gas station.
And this was when I was with Chase, and I
would get my stuff back immediately, so I stopped after
that though, I stopped using my card at gas stations.
(04:28):
I used the seven to eleven app and pay through
the app ahead of time or while I'm at the pump,
and so I never have to scan my card anywhere
or do anything like that. But the day before this
all happened, I went to I was driving my little
brother home, and I went inside and bought some stuff,
which I don't usually do. And then the next day
(04:49):
my card ends up stolen and they just running dry.
It's one of them gas stations over the all vocal No,
it's the one by six thirty five on sign like
where all the businesses are, Like.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Nigga's been under this ship lately to what it is,
Just like when you pay for your core.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
They just take the picture of the back of that
bitch real quick.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Oh yeah, give it right the fuck back, like ain't
sh and just like use all your info online and
ship and ship.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Yeah, that's the only place I can think that it
happened because I don't I don't use my I don't
take out my physical card often and I hadn't even
been out that day that it happened. But yeah, that's
been a pain. That's been awful to deal with, and
they're making it so difficult to get it back. Even
to try to change my card to Chase to get
(05:39):
paid to Chase, They're like, well, we're gonna lock your
account for seven days so you won't be able to
get your money. Yep. It's like, OK, Yeah, it's been
it's been an experience. And I would tell anyone who
does any kind of door dash or uses their stuff
do not. Just don't don't, because if you're shit, get
stolen or whatever, you will probably not get your money back,
(06:02):
and if you do, it'll be two months later.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Yeah, that's crazy. Hope we get through that well, Live
long and prosper you.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Know the same glass. It's just shiny as fuck, just
like Crisp Clean this week. What did I do?
Speaker 4 (06:24):
Nothing much, man, just uh looking at a lot of
TV getting ready for Starfield the release. I play that
you pre downloaded. Nope, ain't pre downloaded yet, but you
got it.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
I think they just opened that up today or something that. Yeah, No,
it was like Friday. I got it on Game passed.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
It's on my it's in my Steam library. I ain't
seen how much Steam. I ain't see no option of downloaded.
I got the the DeLux version.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
It was like six skins and ship like sixty dollars
or something like that.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
So that's lot of the way. Now the first night
I probably gonna stayup all night. But wait, the Starfield
Deluxe versions only sixty dollars when.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
I got this stand Yeah, when I got it, You
see what I mean, bro, I have I had one
of them. I had one of them Steam deals though,
so that's why I was But for regular prices. I
think it was seventy dollars or something like that.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Yeah, because I know on PlayStation the soup and DeLux
shit because I think they coming out with DSc and
ship too, like like eighty.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Yeah, so that's why. Wait. No, other than that nothing more.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Week was decent. I still recovering from the car stuff.
Hopefully I have my car back Sunday. It should be
ready to go. Oh God of War been having me
stretched out. Yeah, welcome to my life. Yeah, I'm still
in the same area where he's on the freaking island.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
I wait to stay the same puzzle you was talking
about it, Bro, looks that ship up.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
I'm not gonna do it.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
I like to at least try a couple more time
telling me it'sa be on their flock. You tried for
two days. Yeah, I'm still trying to. Uh has not
gotten nowhere? Where was that? Oh? Yeah, got a war
just had me stressed out trying to finish it. I
think I already said I finished Spider Man. I finished
Spider Man Man. I'm going through doing the side missions
(08:15):
on that. That's a really good game. I'm having fun
with that game. And I'm gonna restarted next week and
then we'll get some more suits, get the other suits
on there and uh yeah. Other than that, that's it.
I haven't been really doing much. I got showed tonight
in Rollertown. I'm looking forward to that. I like Rollertown. Uh,
(08:36):
I'll be listening to the people own it. It's only
like a radio station I listened to all the time.
So like being there and free beer. Yes, But other
than that, Yeah, nothing nothing else interesting happen this week.
Everyone prayed for my car.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
I finished the new try again, I forgot, I went
back and I finally finished the new track. Is it legit?
Is it worth it? I would say yes. Knives is
a really good character, like even better than the original. Yeah.
His motives are still kind of the same, they're not
as as like the same where you know, he's trying
to get Vash to realize his naivete that you know,
(09:12):
he can't just keep going through life without killing anyone.
This one's more he's trying to protect him by killing
all the humans, like in his own way, but.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Also like us type shit, so we got to mark
them first. Yeah, still crazy, I don't hey, Nas is
one of them characters. He reminds me of Tupac on
Ship on Juice, Like you you straight, but god damn no, bro,
you crazy as Yeah, So it ends up being.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
It turns out it's a prequel, kind of kind of
a prequel but not really. It's like a retelling, but
of a prequel to what we know him to be,
so vash. At the end, something happens and he ends
up having his spiky hair. He ends up being wanted
for sixty billion double dollars.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
So this is this is the prequel to the sixty
billion Dollar Man. Yeah, oh wow, so this is like
before not wait, so this is this is in between
before after they got off the ship and blew everything good,
but before he begins the billion Man.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
Right, since after after the ship and before he becomes that.
I mean it is like a retelling because Knives dies
at the end, and you know in the original he
is just different. But yeah, no, it's it's really good
and if you do like drug and I would suggest
go and just give it the chance. I know that
a lot of people are turned off by an animation,
but the fight scenes make it worth it. The fight
(10:41):
scenes and Knives knives whole introduction, especially in episode three,
is so good. And the music's really good too, So
I got my attention. Yeah, I recommend it. I would
go watch it. It is the first season is finished
on crunchy roll, so it's gonna be a second season, yep.
But it's not one of those. It's not a cliffhanger.
(11:02):
So even if even if it didn't get one, I'd
be okay with where.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
It's out because it still makes sense going into the
original right kind of kind.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Of accepting O knives and that, but kind of right.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
I fuck with it, And then they could have just
did so, you know, we'd wonky shit and he didn't.
Was it like one of them dipths where it's like
he could have he could still be.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
He's his dad as hell.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Okay, okay, cool, cool, Okay, I'm I gotta suck with
it dad.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Hell yeah, we're gonna go to a quick break. But
when we come back Blue Beetle after this and we
are back. So Blue Beetle recently came out, Uh you
know what you got?
Speaker 4 (11:45):
So it finally happened the beginning of James gunn d
c still the universe with the gun Verse blue beat
of the first movie to drop. It dropped the Thursday,
I think Wensday Thursday, and one of those I want
I want to watch it. So we're gonna do a
little view of it. Let's let's do this first. Tony
(12:06):
give me a overall thoughts on the movie.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
First. I find this to be thoroughly enjoyable. I think
it's a really good starting point. It was its own.
I didn't need to know anything else, kind of like, man,
what other movie was it? Anyway, it was it was
something represent it, Yes, actually I did. I think it
represent Mexican culture and how family intertwines in it very well.
(12:32):
And I really enjoyed this movie. I laughed, I cried,
and uh, it's a really really strong start to the
new DC universe in my opinion, Xavier, give me a
overall thoughts of the movie quick movie. Yes, really strong movie.
I liked it.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Love the action in it, love the dialogue, the humor.
George Lopez really cared the humor in the movie. I
really like his his his comedic relief of the movie.
Like that's one of my favorite part. And you know,
I said, the action is good, storyline was very well told.
I like how they placed court industry as like this
huge billion dollar operation. It's like a brother against sister
(13:11):
type thing. I like just the whole movie is good.
It's really good.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
I'm glad. George Lopez was good because I thought I
thought he was gonna be a little cringe, but he
played the part that when when I tell you there
is an uncle like that in every Mexican family, there
is an uncle like that in every Mexican family. And
he played it perfectly.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
That's funny for me. For me, you know, James Gunn
had two strikes for me already, but the third one
just random my screeningside for some reason. But keep on,
you know, just me, Oh, just keep names. I had
two strikes for me, so I wanted to see if
(13:53):
he could just deliver something that's enjoyable and something that
felt new, something that felt not as bad.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
As the Flash and Taxam choo us.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
And I'm I'm I enjoyed this when I'm surprised, he
did a good job. When I enjoyed it, it was
fun to watch. We're getting like it deep into the views.
A couple of things I really I don't like about it,
but that's to be told. It had more of a this.
This had more of a Marble feel to it. It
felt more like a Marvel movie. And I think that
really works well with Blue Beetle and Historyline and stuff
(14:24):
like that, and Uh, and he did it.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
I'm talking about the end.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
The reason why I enjoyed this movie because, uh, in
the end, he did something different and he didn't do
the same thing that all the other movies were doing,
and it made me happy. I didn't have to see
through a whole bunch of bleeding eye ce g I
muscle fight it.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
Then, I'm just I'm just a thousand muscles. I'm just glad.
I'm just lating, you know what. That convinced me to
go watch it.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
Now, I'm just I'm just glad I have to see
a thousand faceless nameless see y'all, it was one on
one and felt personal and everything.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
I liked it.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
I like, Okay, let's get to the review. Okay, the
movie opens up with Court Industries. They find a scare
up and uh so you cut through that real quick.
They find a scroll, and then you go to Jamie
and coming back from college. He's uh HAIMI I don't
know why I said Jamie HEIMI. Uh, he coming back
from college. Uh he graduated, He's got pre law degree,
so he feels like a big shot.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
He running in.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
So, how did y'all, Conda, What do you think about
how to move open, scare up Haimi and coming back
from college and finding out all the stuff by the family,
so like that.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
What do you think about that, Tony accurate, very accurate representation.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
Yeah, because when he come back he find out his
family is losing a home at the shop, the shop
is closed down, his dad had a heart attack and
all that stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
What do you think about that?
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Oh my god, that's not like me when I dropped
out ship. What do you think about the opening of
this is a Oh? I like the opening.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
It was good, good because you know, like I said,
DC always have a bad job and explaining those little
smart details of what things come from and why people
are looking for stuff and open the scene really explained that.
And I like the they set up the store real well,
that's what I say, That's what it did.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (16:06):
Then next the next I think one's going when Imi
and his sister they get job working for Court Industries,
they cleaners for Court Industry. Both of them get fired
because they step in the conversation between Victoria and Jenny.
These are the power women in a movie Jenny. Victoria
is Jenny's aunt and uh she she's mad because when
(16:29):
Jenny's father disappeared.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
She didn't get the business, and she thought he should
have belonged to her.
Speaker 4 (16:34):
But because so because she a woman, she got this
big chip on her should and stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
They have a big fight. himI gets in the middle
of it.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
He gets fired, and then Jenny tells him to come
by the Core Industries later so he could get a job.
So this is how all the stuff starts to fall
in line for the movie and stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
Did y'all like that part, Tony? Yeah? I mean, like, okay,
So I don't really know. My knowledge of Blue Beatles
very surface level. The most the most I know of it,
of all of this is from what is the Game Injustice?
Because that's when I was first introduced to him. And
so I'll say, as someone who didn't know anything, I
(17:13):
think it's set up. It's set up pretty well there.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
Yeah, but you did you find out Victoria is trying
to make OMEC a one man army corpse, like a
robot top thing like an army Yeah, and Ginny is
trying to stop from doing that because Jenny don't want
weapons to be built because her father had took the
company in new direction and Victoria trying to drag it
back to the past weapons stuff.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
It had the Iron Man feel to it. I really
liked that.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
Yeah, so they she finds a scap, she takes it
to give us to the himI. He takes it home,
opensing it. It chooses him, because you know the scaup,
he has to choose somebody for the work. It choose him,
And that's where all this stuff starts popping off.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
Man.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
I think the setup, they did a really good job
set up it was. It wasn't too long. It went
straight into it her. I really like to set up
execut What do you think about to set up to them?
They give him like a McDonald's bag or some ship.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Yeah, big.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Big, which is an icon, and all the team tightening
is mentioned, right, you remember that episode.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
I like that. I like that little that little Easter
and they put it in there. Yeah. I liked it.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
Like you said, oh yeah, before you go, before you go,
before you go. I like the voice they used her scare. Yeah,
well she did a good job. Okay, you whatever, But yeah,
they introduced it very well.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
I liked it.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
And then spend too much time on the add the
humor too with the humor really helped that.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
Also.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
I like George Lopez as a conspiracy theorist. That's funny.
It's made it even more funnier. Yeah, it's good. And
like the death like like not the death like him
even him like showing the power of it too right
there and then flying out way out the space and
back end and saving his life and chopping the bus
and half.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
Yeah, it's a pretty good introduction. Yeah. I liked how
the Scarab name is Kajaa. I think that's what it is, right,
I think that's it. That's it. That's name of Scarp.
And this where we get into all the fightings and stuff.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
The he goes home, he gets, you know, he gets
the Scarp takes him over and down loads to him
and starts getting into his brain and stuff like that.
Uh So they try to find a way to get
it off of them. So they got they go down
to the cord industries. They try to find the way
to get off of them and stuff like that. They
go to Jenny's childhood home after they leave court and
go to her child home, and that's where you find
(19:38):
the original blue Beat of stuff because her dad was
a blue Beater, use technology and stuff to fight crime.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
I love the city original one. I look like old school.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
Okay, goddamn cord, I thought. So this was one of
those moments where me, who I didn't know anything. I
was like, oh, this is a pay for people who
know what this is, because I was like, okay, so
apparently there was a blue Beat before that.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
Then yeah, see, himI is like the today's blue Beating.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
But niggas don't remember third one.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Yeah, it's a few of them niggas type ship, but
he the one we know.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
He's our eras blue Beating type ship. Then we goti
I did I did?
Speaker 4 (20:24):
After all this happens, you find out that Jimi wasn't
the first person that the scare chose. The scart also
chose archaeologist Dan Garrett.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
I want to say he was the first one. Yes,
the comic book Blue Beader.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Yeah, he was the one, and uh as the host,
but Gary left to Ted who who was not chosen.
Can you find out that the only way for the
Blue Beat to get to get off of you if
you die.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
That's it.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
You gotta die. That's the only way you get rid
of it, because it twines itself to your brain spawn
the horse brains them.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Even if you take that bitch out you did, you did?
Speaker 4 (21:03):
You always get rid of it if you dyed. But
uh Dan garretson. They went back old school and got
all over it. Uh Ted spent his life trying to
study in it while also frightening crime using this all
technology was I said, how did y'all like some of
the technologies that he had? Some of those gadgets that
he had. I was so happy to see the blue
Beetle mobile. I wanted pretty dope, and I like the
(21:26):
gadget that he had. It was pretty cool. Pillow things
I have to look up through the comb of archives.
I didn't understand the.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Pillow on that, but uh yeah, I like the whole
ted cave and everything.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
Oh uh yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
And before we move on, he was like he was
like magical Batman, kind of like on some ship.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
And before move on they set up the building real quick.
Victoria and Nazio. How did y'all like both of them?
Speaker 3 (21:55):
Man?
Speaker 4 (21:56):
I I was kind of riding with him, and that
was a good villains to me. Man, he had back story,
had heart and everything. I told her, what you think
about the buildings?
Speaker 3 (22:05):
He was He was a really good villain. I'm right
there with you. I don't know about her. I mean
she was. Maybe it's because she was so fake all
around that.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
I got the same feeling every time she was talking, like, man,
she's fake. Everything she's doing seeming fake. She just she
she got she got all my nerves.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Man, I couldn't get with an evil mustache she was.
She was too cartoonish for me. Yeah, that's a good
way to put it. She was too cartoonish for me.
Speaker 4 (22:32):
And Na together when they had their scenes together, it
was really good for me. You see how she were
manipulating him and all that stuff. I really liked.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
You definitely had sex with him at some point.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
Okay, and then you find you find out that Ted
disappeared and left Jenny behind.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
Uh. You're gonna get a conclusion.
Speaker 4 (22:49):
To that in the in credit scenes they had two
in Crety. One of them I don't understand.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
I was mad. I said it in the theater for
the last Yeah, go, I want.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
To me in the damn theater. I ain't even gonna lie.
I want that bitch, nobody else.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
They also learned that Kada the Uh is slowly fusing
this DNA with hymis and that the only only death
can separate a body from from himI. We already know
that the tree the treo noticed Victoria's helicopter heading towards
the Raiser's family home. Homi summits Kadija flies back to
the family from Victoria's army. As the Rays family escape,
(23:26):
Berto uh uh, Cardiac risks, So this distracted behind me
and let him get captured. Man, what do you think
this This part hit hard?
Speaker 3 (23:36):
I really like this part, this part, Like I cried.
I it hit me way too hard, man, It hit
me way too hard, man, Like one of the one
the biggest praise for this movie is the authenticity of
the family structure in Mexican culture, and there's always the
one person that that just holds everyone together like glue,
(23:58):
and losing that person is heart wrenching. I thought I
thought he was going to survive. At first, I did
teary die. I was like, whoa, So they they tricked you, man,
because they're like, oh, okay, he survived the hit. He's good.
They're going to get out of there. And then he
has a heart attack and.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
The daughtergain did a good job of accident the scene
after she was when she was crying and stuff.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
It was a good job there. What do you think
about this.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
Whole how he got captured and trying to protect the
family and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Yeah, yeah, it was super sad even like him protecting
them was a good interested like drew me in type scene.
And then his dad died, like because you think he's
gonna make it and then they take it away from you,
like y'all said, it's good.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
Yeah, okay, Hoye got captured because he got distracted and
he's taken to our fortress in Cuba where he is
strapped to a machine and they try to download.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
CODA to all the Omax.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
So she got a whole like Army is Worth Old
Max and she trying They trying to dowload the scap
into the ox Accurate and then and then we.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Go into the aftral plane.
Speaker 4 (24:55):
After this, we had a black Panther scene after while.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
Conscious, he.
Speaker 4 (25:06):
Sees the vision of his father, who encouraged him to
embraces Disney as the Blue Beetle. I really liked this part. Man,
This is a movie was a hero's journey full circle.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
Man. Man, I'm glad I got to see the movie
before I seen.
Speaker 4 (25:18):
Something the reviews and stuff because I don't understand, but I
think people just I don't understand some of these reviews.
I really liked it, and then the audience scores is
backing me up from that. I really like Okay, hire
Me awakens just just as the dad that's finishes down
load to Caropacts and see escapes Charapacts. Oh, Max too
activated and evolved into a more powerful form. So so
(25:39):
Ignazio had his had a bootleg scroll until he got
downloaded and all of a sudden he got like a
super strong scare stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
So how did you think? What do you think about
how this evolved and stuff like that? Yeah, that's pretty cool. Uh,
this good c JR. Finally finally good CG. Like this
is this is the best dc CD I see it
in a while.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
Man, why did Flash Why didn't he use the same
flas It's weird man?
Speaker 3 (26:06):
Really good.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Yeah, from from blue Beetles suits to the to the
fights into his suit all deforming and the weapons and
stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
Really good CG. I liked Tony. What do you think
about how Karapex guy his power? It was cool. I
have to say that during this whole thing, like I
liked how they showed the grandmother was an imperial, like
a revolutionary. Yeah. I kind of wish they didn't get
so campy with it, because I mean they could have
(26:37):
been a lot cooler than you.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
Know, always how problem with stuff or stuff like this
when you have to bring the whole family out of time,
You know, I have problem stuff like that. I understand
that there's a message of the movie and stuff like that,
so I looked past it, but it was kind of
annoyingce me too.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
I'm like, yeah, they had I feel like they had
a opportunity for something really cool but instead made it comedic. Okay. Uh,
it's close.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Is that Jenny and the Rays haven't used the bugship
they got in the budship, so off line to the island,
Uh Jenny and uh uh Jenny and Jimi's sister find
the Omex suits and destroyed with explosives as a results
of Tona's cave in, causing her gens become separated and
later found by Victoria, Jimi Renice with his family. Then
since since off the fire, Milager and Jenny at the
(27:25):
rescuer of Milagro Uh Jamie Heimi encounters Parapext and battles
him and that's when this last battle was epic to me,
Man one on want you to have a whole bunch
of c job monsters there were it was one on one.
They they even got their masks off, so you get
to see the see the emotions and stuff at certain points.
Then you find out that Chuapaxts was being manipulated by
(27:46):
Victoria this whole time. He gets his memory back and
stuff like. It was so good, Tona, what do you
think about that climactic fighting?
Speaker 3 (27:53):
Then? Yeah? I like one on one fights. I like
when there's sticks, there's emotion. It had chucked all the
boxes and uh, just before that because we kind of
just skipped over the hallways. Scene is really good too,
like when he runs through when he finally liked uh
rescues in Mila. Yeah, yeah, I liked it. Uh.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Really good fight scene having them to them to like,
you know, sharing fight chemistry is really good.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
I don't fight chemistry.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
I like.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
I like how dug into his character too. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
And then a little sword and he found out what
has passed, how he was a child soldier and stuff
like that his memory got tooken away, how he got
it back and he got his he got his get back.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
He got it back in blood. He uh blew up.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
So dragged that lady into the fire. It's like, yep,
you go with me, lady.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
But yeah, okay, So that was that was the end.
Speaker 4 (28:51):
That's how they beat him, and uh, Jenny takes up
the court industry and promised to predict damage calls by
h d Y family have to rebuild their home as
the neighbors gathered around the remains of the Red family
home and promis virginny, so you got to get it.
Then offers her to fly her to the quarter stay
and that's where it ends. He's flying up with us.
I don't know how she survives in flight because I
(29:12):
know she can't breath. This is the only murder. This
is only in credit scenes that matter. The mean credit
scene is uh, you hear a distorted recorder from Ted
broadcast to his laboratory stated day he's still alive and
wishes for Jenny to be formeder for this news. So
you find out that Ted is still alive in the movie,
(29:34):
How exactly how do you see that fit in in
the future Blue Beetle franchise.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
I want to see let's see Blue Beetle too.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
I want to see an opening scene where we see
Ted Cord action as regular blue beetle and setting up
kind of setting up his story in the other movie.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
I think it's gonna farewell.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
I see Ted Cord is like his mentor because uh,
since we technically don't have Batman, so we can't do
that Batman relationship, or at least they're not gonna do
it yet. I can see him as like he's been
toured running around in the movie. I can't wait see it.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
I always.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Kayata and explained it. I feel like if you do
it like you're just saying SNA, it'll be like showing
him getting it the fuck end when he was a
blue beetle, then showing exactly why the fuck he disappeared
for so goddamn loll yes, yes, just like how did
he get that bitch off of him?
Speaker 3 (30:24):
Mmhm what not? How do you see that setting up?
Standing up in the ficial Uh? I was well, I
don't really know like what this does, but I have
to say, did they mentioned superlad in the movie or
is it Superman Superman? Because I thought they said super
Loud and I was like.
Speaker 4 (30:42):
Oh he said Superman. Say he can fly like Superman
stuff like that. I don't think he said superlad.
Speaker 3 (30:46):
I don't think, and I know they they mentioned Batman too,
so it makes it an and flash and it's I'm
interested to know where these characters are and there and
their own stories at this point.
Speaker 4 (31:00):
Anyway, all right, before we close it off and give
out rating, Tony or gave what you liked about the movie,
go ahead, give me your your downside, your negative?
Speaker 3 (31:08):
What took points off of the movie for you? Honestly?
How how too comedic it was? I mean, I get
what they're doing, but it's like you said, it's it
felt like a Marvel movie, and I don't. I don't
really like watching DC movies to feel like a Marvel movie.
I like when they feel different. But again, I am
(31:29):
really biased toward this movie, mainly because of the authenticity
of the whole family structure, and I think that really
sold me on this movie.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
Did it sell you, old James gunn though hit he
battened three hundreds so far, did to sell you on Tennise?
Speaker 3 (31:45):
I don't know. Honestly, I am kind of mixed about
it because I don't want, like I said, I don't
want the other movies to feel like I'm watching just
a bunch of Marvel movies. Gonna be one of the
Marvel too. It might it might feel too repetitive.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
You have to watch them Marvel movies a year, right, Toney, Yeah, man,
I don't know what you're talking about, Xavier.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
Like that was marl That was Guardians of the Galaxy
in DC University. James Gunn just brought all the other
galaxy hum with the DC University. It was it was.
Speaker 4 (32:15):
It was a lot of jokes, flooded with jokes, like
a lot of them. All right, Xavier, Oh, Tony, give
me a rate and once you team.
Speaker 3 (32:22):
So yeah, even haven't said all that. I'm there for
my representation and I like Hymen as a character, and
so this was like a solid nine for me. All right, Xavier,
strong start Xavier, what's your downside of the movie?
Speaker 2 (32:37):
That Grandma with the blicky Yeah, that was That's wild.
I could have left the owner ship. And I love
the movie. I can't really think of any other more negatives.
I like the humor in it. It wasn't too heavy
to me. I see what y'all mean by the Marvel
formula thing, But it didn't really just take that much
away from it, so I'll give it a nine.
Speaker 4 (32:58):
Mean for me, the movie was refreshing, Like it was.
It's the best DC movie I see since the first
is now. It was very refreshing. It had some It
had some really really good plot points that I really liked,
but things I didn't like. I thought the humor overshadowed
some of the big beats of the movie. Some of
the big plot points of the movie. I thought the
humor over shadowed some of that stuff. It was a
(33:20):
little bit too much in some places. Even even though
I like Georgiana Olpaez, he was a little too much
in some places as well. Uh had a little bit
too much family for me. I know this part of
the movie was supposed to be by family and stuff,
but it was a little too much for me, because you.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
Know how I am.
Speaker 4 (33:32):
Uh, I don't like romances and family and my superhero
movies and getting away too much for me, So that's
a little It had a little bit too much of
that for me. Victoria, I didn't really like her characters
of billing Uh if I see, it was way better
to me.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
He was a way bilter to me. I really liked
him better. She was.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
She was a little too cartoonish for me. Uh, Jenny,
Jenny was kind of bored. I'm being honest. That character
was kind of.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Bored to me. She had that humper or thump beautifully.
What does that mean? What is the number she had?
What was you looking at? You have a glass? Yeah?
No body, I don't know what you was talking about.
Speaker 4 (34:07):
I have no glass, any boy, I don't know what
you you you blind on that. Anyways, she was kind
of back there. She was kind of bard to me.
One thing. Another thing, I had a problem with it.
I thought the end and fight needed a little bit
more to it, just a little bit more, a little bit.
Speaker 3 (34:26):
It was really good, but another.
Speaker 4 (34:28):
Two minutes or three minutes to that end the fight,
a little bit more storytelling to the Nacho's character could
have brought a little bit more. It could have been
like on the Perfect inter Fights. But saying all that,
I really enjoyed this movie. I don't care what the
critics is saying. He's got like a seven year ridding Tomato.
So far, so courage, audience loved, audience loved it. I
think it's got like a ninety five with the audience
(34:49):
so far. I really liked this movie. It was it was,
it was enjoyable, it was I felt, it felt pretty good.
So this movie is a seven point eight for me.
It's it's a best DC movie since Sir Damn and
I like you now, James Gunn. You you don't got
two strikes still and see this next movie and see
if you can consolidate your your uh, your position. I
(35:12):
hope I'm this is hoping without without knowing what he
got for the future. I hope the Superman movie don't
have don't have all these jokes. I don't want to
see no a thousand jokes in my Superman movie. I'm
just I just go I don't get it. I don't
get it. I don't know. And if you, if you
do them dumb jokes like you for Batman, like you
did a Flash, I'm gonna be Superman then I've been.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
I see them dumb jokes in my Batman movie. I'll
tell you that right now, but not in my bat
Man movie. In joy, no, go ahead, go ahead, fish
your statement, same point. The enjoyed by our recommend y'all
go see it. It was enjoy d C. D C
came back with this.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
I didn't see an Ackerman's trailer. I was kind of
worried because then it comes down in like two months. Man,
don't I ain't gonna see that movie.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
They don't even know. I forgot it was coming out. Yeah, bro, okay,
what move? What movie? Awkle man? That show the fuck
do come out this year? I forgot about that. But
that was the That was the Blue Beetle Review, the
newest edition to the d CU. Let's go to a break.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Yeah, we're gonna go to a quick break. But when
we come back, drag out some gaming info after this, man,
we are back.
Speaker 3 (36:28):
So Drake what you got? All right?
Speaker 1 (36:30):
So y'all know I've been deep offfing the rabbit hole
of gaming as of late for the last couple of months.
Shout out to everybody that be sitting here with me.
I was on there playing the game also. But uh,
last week we talked about Red Dead and being unnecessary
like money grab and ship because it's like a whole
last port instead of a remaster, which we were all expecting.
(36:54):
But hey, corporate niggas do that. They gonna cut as
much God damn corners, and they won't, won't it. But
so I finally played the Switch version and I mean
once again, I basically still have the same version on
PS three literally, same glitcher, same bugs from the last
(37:17):
time they pulled it, that bitch. It's all still up,
but wild shit. I was out of niggas been telling
me though, Like you know, it's the Xbox. It kind
of already like if it's an old game, upscale shit.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
So it do that.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
Then on PS five they say it do it also.
But it's just like if you got a good ass
TV also, it kind of do that for you.
Speaker 3 (37:39):
Also.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
I'm just saying it ain't worth fifty dollars still I
will if I do ever get it any like this
gen need to probably be used.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
I don't be all in me.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
I know that's hard as hell for me because it's like, ow,
y'all know, I'm getting Red Dead as my shit. But
the other thing I was reading up on, it's like
this kind of pissed me off in light of all
of this too, because we got red their redemption. You know,
Port non the fucking remake, you real, what's don't get
(38:12):
me wrong, huh.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
What's a port explain or just the casual?
Speaker 1 (38:17):
It's basically the p how you know when I just
held up the PS three version. That's the same version
everybody else just got. They didn't really do much of
shit to make it better.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
Yeah, it's basically when they bring the game over to
another system, that's exactly what it is. No change.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
They didn't upgrade Ship, they didn't go in and fix
known decade ass old glitches.
Speaker 3 (38:44):
That is the same game from twelve years ago.
Speaker 1 (38:48):
So it's like instead of when on the other hand
of remake, is they going in and just like some
of them can take Ship from the old ones they
can still use, but a lot of time it's a remake.
Speaker 3 (38:58):
They rebuilded the entire game from.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
The ground up, which they kind of already did, and
red their redemption too, so that's why it makes no sense.
But the shit that drove me, like when I re
ended up, like what else they was working on trying
to figure out, like, because this is the second time
they've done this, can we not forget the GTA Defenditive
(39:20):
of trilogy and that shit was third That shit was outsourced.
We basically got a mobile game on consoles. But the
shit that just like was just like I could deal
with it, but this is the one that drove me.
We could have got Bullied two and three finally, but
they decided to give us a port of red their redemption.
Speaker 3 (39:43):
This is me being corporate me on.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
The sleep, But look at how y'all did read their
redemption to y'all dropped the damn there nine years after
the first one and became a game with a year
y'all know, y'all got hell of motherfucking meet bullets in
the goddamn me arm Mariche just unloaded on niggas and
y'all choosing to just keep making suit for GTA online.
It makes no sense if they would have came out
(40:07):
with Bully too. Finally, I'm just saying, the streets.
Speaker 3 (40:11):
Would have came, what would it would?
Speaker 1 (40:13):
It would have showed up like the Avengers in game
scene when they was fighting.
Speaker 3 (40:16):
Thin't nose y'all.
Speaker 1 (40:19):
Y'all left, y'all left that money on the table right there.
I'm just saying that kind of bothered me, but once
again I will. I feel bad saying it, but y'all
better wait like a motherfucker for the GTA.
Speaker 3 (40:31):
If you haven't played it and you just really want
to and you just balling like that, go right ahead.
But I just can't. I can't do it and it
don't feel right and my soul.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
Just paying fifty for a game already, I could just
look the PS three up two courts.
Speaker 3 (40:48):
Then I learned how to hook my PS five controller
up to the three.
Speaker 1 (40:51):
Fucking this, I just say fifty dollars and I got
the Undead night Man DMC because it's the Game of
the Year edition.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
But yeah, I don't like that.
Speaker 1 (41:00):
That shit still bothering me, Like corporate niggas are fucking
a gaming the kind of mean type shit a little bit,
but that's all that.
Speaker 2 (41:09):
Yeah, we got another exciting segment of Hero or Villain
where we are talking where we are going to go to?
Don't we don't have a specific city, going to a
well in Kentucky, Katalki, Kentucky. A Kentucky woman had her
life turn a Kentucky woman that had her life turned
(41:31):
upside down by catfish.
Speaker 3 (41:33):
This guy apparently Catfish.
Speaker 2 (41:36):
This woman named michaela into thinking that she was dating
a stranger things character or the name Doc where is
it Doc Pray Montgomery, y'all know.
Speaker 3 (41:46):
Change things? That's the right, am I saying his name?
Right is the name? I don't know things? But she
basically got catfish by I got one.
Speaker 5 (41:56):
He's Billy Billy the lifeguard, uh, the racist, but she
was catfished by God claiming to be Billy from Stranger Things.
Speaker 1 (42:07):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
She said that the two communicate during that during the
time where she found what she found him on like
a farm one of them forum for forums for Stranger
Things and Stranger Things fans, and he messaged her from
like a different name. And then when once they got
to messaging each other, probably he told her that he
(42:28):
was old Dude off of Stranger Things. He was also
kind of telling her that revealing things about the show
that she thought was true that actually like uh, that
she believed and that will make her think that she
was actually dating him. The relationship got so serious that
she said that they were both complaining about the each
significant others at the time Old Dude that she's been
(42:52):
that quayer I want to say, I don't know that's
how you pounce the name the quay who was Dayton
Live Public.
Speaker 3 (42:58):
They said that he was.
Speaker 2 (42:59):
She said that they were both complaining about their loves
and little Polock he was complaining about her and she
ended up divorcing her husband to pursue a strong relationship
with this guy. Also in this relationship. She ended up
setting this due over ten thousand dollars in cash for
different types of things. Yeah, she like share almost a
(43:23):
whole women. So yeah, starting off, which I think on
the situation.
Speaker 1 (43:28):
Was twenty twenty fucking three, calffish been out for like
eight nine years.
Speaker 2 (43:34):
Damn.
Speaker 3 (43:34):
Now, how are people still getting camfished?
Speaker 1 (43:37):
How do you get two motherfucking strong of an internet
for you to still be getting camfished out of here? Bron,
you might get an AI boyfriend or girlfriendsge. Yeah, she
had cantfish by celebrity. Why do you think this dude
needs you think this actor needs ten thousand dollars from you?
Speaker 3 (43:58):
How do you fall for that?
Speaker 1 (44:00):
Michael Jackson hit me up a week ago asking for
one hundred dollars.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
You think I really gave it to him? All right? Yes? No,
I just I mean you just take advantage of it.
I guess that's smart. Divorce the husband and everything, bru.
The end of it had been out since we've been alive. Nigga.
How how old is she is? She an old woman? No,
she's young. She is. Uh, that's not even worse. She's
(44:26):
the villain divorcing her husband leaving her family. You don't
have our age.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
Her, but she she's not she's older, but she's not old,
but she's younger like early twenties I have.
Speaker 3 (44:36):
I have no sympathy for this woman. I'm sorry, niggas.
You know what your thoughts on kid, catfish, you know
what's your thoughts on it. If you fall for the
African Prince scam, you deserve it. She is dove to
be a I don't know, she's a villa. This is
a villa story.
Speaker 1 (44:57):
There are not forty year old ugas five miles away
from you trying to fuck but move it on.
Speaker 3 (45:04):
Tony has has one. Also what you get, Tony? Yeah,
so we're all familiar with I got to catch them all.
So as an officer in Calhoun County over in where
is this Alabama? Who was seen in a Walmart opening
a Pokemon card packages and pocketing single cards out of him?
(45:27):
So I guess anything he saw valuable he was He
was confronted by lost prevention when he tried to leave
the store and he proceeded to run away on foot.
Was uniform well he was in uniform.
Speaker 1 (45:40):
Oh my god, you can't be suited and booted up
bigger stealing.
Speaker 3 (45:46):
I mean Pokemon cars, which I want to whish cars
did he take? I don't know. It must have been
pretty valuable for him to risk at all.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
I mean, you steal at least, don't you get like
a disc out?
Speaker 3 (46:00):
And if you like a cow or some ship. I
don't know. I don't know how moment, I don't know.
When I worked for Walgreens like wherever ago, we used
to give them free stuff just so they would come around,
because you know we're inn f.
Speaker 1 (46:13):
But you know that, right, Damn, that's not how you
catch them all. Bro, Hey, did I talk about Mute
last week?
Speaker 3 (46:23):
You did? And mewtwot.
Speaker 1 (46:27):
My my mute nigga level sixty nigga one week, Baby,
I've been running raids. Wait, so did he get arrested
and mewtwo went two weeks? Mute arrested and fired. But
if in your career behind some Pokemon or some you
can't you probably sell. It's not even worth nothing to sell.
Speaker 3 (46:49):
I wondered, y'all said, I pray to God that was
what your year is worth, A sale of your nigga.
Was he black?
Speaker 2 (46:55):
No, he's white. It had been white. You are already
a black police office. You're not dumb enough to do that.
Speaker 3 (47:02):
True. It all depends on the card man, Now, let
me stop. It depends on the card.
Speaker 2 (47:07):
Yeah, like it was a charge art then yeah, I mean,
you're good, but he'd have to give it back. You
got call it, but he got caught, so you have
to give it back anyways. You can't give back what
they actually can't find.
Speaker 3 (47:24):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (47:25):
Yeah, he's definitely a building, a dumb building, but he's
a building house everything.
Speaker 3 (47:32):
Well, we gotta go to a quick break. But when
we come back, Eli's carter after this man, we are back.
So Eli's carter. What we've got today, Eli's corner. We're
gonna talk about searches. Who searches like the exact Google
searches to corner her searches? Oh wow, what kind of
(47:56):
