Speaker 1 (00:00):
Trapped Nerds, trapped ner real like you never heard.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Welcome, Welcome Walker, Welcome to the other excited episode of
the Trapped Nerves.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Podcasts out of y'all. It's up, guys, I was going three.
I was your week, my guy.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Well, men, before we start, it's a late night edition.
The energy might be a little different. Yeah, my bedtime
around here.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
I'm just in the midnight storm behind them us the midnight.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
That it's currently ten thirty Central and I'm the fall
asleep on the pod.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
I'm on demon time. T shit, this is like when
I'm up. But AnyWho, first off, shut out.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
To my granny.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Y'all already know I was talking about earlier, Like last
couple weeks ago, you had a stroke.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
She just turned sixty four, nigga, you have one more
year and you can retire.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Chill, happy birthday and yeah we mean the air through
like the worst of my listeners. She threw like the
worst surprise birthday party ever type shit because she basically made.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
It like a cookout.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
But also, my granddaddy fucked it up even more type
shit because he wanted them to y'all know. He's just
an old ass though, so he kind of didn't just
go with the ruis all. He just kind of brought
her ass there type shit. We couldn't even prepare, Like
he was just like we outside. I'm like, that's wild.
But luckily, like she just thought it was like some
regular we getting fucked up, like we cooking and stuff

(01:29):
like type shit. And then everybody that she knew just
started popping up for her. So it kind of still
clicked in the head late, so.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I'm like, I appreciated that.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Other than that, I'm still grinding on star Field because
I got the DLC, but I have to make it
to the DLC, but I got the grind. Mind stay
because I'm still trying to get to a level one hundred.
Been on Stalker, but I'm gonna talk about that mode
later on in the dojo. And yeah, and I just
been chilling about job.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
Let's see, I started black sales again. I'm not done
at the season, but I'm like episode off from finishing
and things are crazy.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I gotta remember, I gotta go back and rewatch this.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Silver is starting to learn why Flint is the way
he is. He is starting to understand how he needs
to get so that Flint trust him, and he's on
his villain ard too, Like he stomped some dude's head
in was not some dude. That guy was kind of important.
At one point he had a moment.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah, he had a run.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
I guess it came out of nowhere. He's also trying
to get with the princess of the tribes there and
that's interesting. YE mean, he's pretty good. I still I
played Lockdown Protocol. I got that game. It's like, it's
like among Us, but better.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Is that the one with the dudes in like the
red suits and ship.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
It's like, that's uh, I mean it is first person,
but you're talking about the horror game. I think you're
talking about Lethal Company if.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
They Yeah, that's thinking about Lethal Company.

Speaker 5 (03:11):
Yeah, because Lockdown Protocol is they can they're all in difference.
It's like among Us. They're all in different colors so
you can identify each other. I mean it's the same.
It's kind of the same gameplay where you know the
crew has tasks to do and if they finish the
task and they win the traders, there are two they
gotta do what they can that either sabotage because their

(03:32):
goal is not to just kill everyone, but you can
also win by sabotaging and making it so they can't
complete what they're doing.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Okay, good ship.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
You can also fight back, which I love because I
can't tell you how many times I've had someone trying
to stab me in the back and I just turn
on them and just start shanking them with a screwdriver
and then, oh my god. And so the stamina system
is your health and it is so funny because you

(04:02):
can like exert yourself so much that you die. So
you can you can run yourself to death.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
So you if you run away, like if you're trying
to run away from the killer or whatever, you're both
draining stamina and that's your health bar. And Xavier's watching videos.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
We heard it. We heard that's a health bar. Go ahead.

Speaker 5 (04:32):
So it leads to a lot of funny moments where
you know someone will run and not pay attention to
their stamina and they'll just keel over. Or when you're fighting,
you know you're using stamina to attack, so you're both
attacking each other and then you both die because you
use too much. And there are weapons, there are guns,

(04:53):
so that's another thing that could happen, but it's very
limiteds like pistol can have like three shots or the
shot and only has the one and it's random every time. Man,
that game is fun and it's actually fun to play
with randoms among us? Who was not as fun to
play with random? Actually only I did it the one time,
didn't I didn't really enjoy it.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
I agree with that. Yep, I think so well me.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
I started watching Alex Cross on Amazon Prime.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
How is it?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
It's good man. It's about this black psychiatrist who who
he's like a he a psych but he also a
detective and his wife got killed at the beginning of
the series, and so he's trying to deal with the
grief while while he's getting taunted by the person who
killed his wife and he trying to find his other killers.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
It's a good show. Good show, it looks I saw
that trailer.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah, really good show.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Good show. And Alex Cross. Yeah it's just called Cross
on Amazon. Yeah, it's a cool ass name.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
I also started back watching Arcade. I finished the first
season that I know finished, so I'm starting.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
Okay, so it's a nigga that doesn't know ship about
league a legend.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
It's kay, Like, oh, you don't have to.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
It's like is that a good like you know, how
like it's cyble punk. Edge Runners got people into cyble
punk a little bit.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Do you think Arkane is a good stepping stone to
get I mean not, I already know how was Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Exactly, It's not gonna get as a gamer, but you
know it'll make you more interested and I guess the
like backdrop and.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
The it'll make you interested in the world.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Yeah, you know how like you know how Apix got
like the little mini series about they operate, how overwatched?
Do they ship well? Like they characters be having their
little movies and ship randomly? Yeah, because let's just hurt.
But because everybody keep telling me like, hey, Arcane lit.
But I'm just like, I'm not a league person.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
I just in the first season's nothing special. The first
season don't seem like nothing special.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Really, No, I call people like just.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Saying losing their mind like they was looking all of
our I'm hearing that about the second season, though, I'm
hearing I'm hearing the second seasons better than the first season.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
That's why I'm hearing from people. I'll see when I
watched the second season, I'll be the judge of that.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
Let me let me know, if you give it like
a solid seven hour look at it.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
High for you another movie. I'm trying to figure out
wherever I heard Alex cross from, Like, oh.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
That random ship.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
Ship, I do remember that ship, but he was like
a detective us.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
And ship did he do that? It's the same story
when he had them braids.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
When there with the braids, that was what we I
forgot what wig he had on for the damn this
one that yep.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Then they killed his wife or some ship. Yeah, it's
the same story. It's from the same tell of her.
Don't make a funk around making like power Universe out
of note.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
I also watched Doom Prophecy and it's already better than
the movies. I love the world, but they did you
you can see how Game of Thrones was was inspired
by doing. When you really take a look at this,
it got a real Game of Throne feel to the
first episode.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Man, Uh my boy is in it?

Speaker 1 (08:25):
What's his name?

Speaker 3 (08:26):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Name my boy? You minute? You got it.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Cast in type D the Prophecy cast and look through
that health you'll see Michael Fans.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Why why that was the first name you thought of?
Michael Fans Magneto. Well, why are you looking at up?

Speaker 4 (09:00):
Got it?

Speaker 1 (09:00):
You know?

Speaker 4 (09:01):
Dune is like one of them always was interesting as hell? Like, uh, Travis,
that's who is it right now?

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Oh? Say no more, bro, I will watch it now.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
When you see that first episode, Tony already getting his
acting on and he gets he got the best scene
in the whole first episode.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
Bro, you told me already. I just have to hear
that that dude in it.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
I'm right because due one of them.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
You could do a lot with that and then like
look it's like it's a lot the dialogue for doing.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Is what made doone Dune?

Speaker 3 (09:34):
This this takes place like thousands of years before Paula
Trades and Doom, the dooing movies that we're looking at now.
So this thousands like I think it's like four or
five thousand years before that, so.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Long ass you have to be in the know with
the Lord now on this.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Now, this kind of builds the Lord. It tells you
it like builds up to the truths uh sayers and
all this build all that, so you already.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
You know how and when it But when like the
Doing movies came out, it's one of those you should.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Already know who these people are.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Yeah, it's not like that. It's it's wayless.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Bringing up, bringing them up, like oh this is how
they became them.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
It's way less confusing then the first Doo move, because
when I saw the first Doo movie, I was confused
about the Yeah, if.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
They know about doing ship watching that you would be
so confused.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
But the but the doing Prophecy. They did a good
job of world building so far. Uh so you are
you already know the major players, you already know the
rulers and what's happening firs up are really good. I
like it a lot.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
Because on some crazy ship if I'm not mistaken, I
want to say, you know how it's that doing the
Momo coming out.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
I keep talking about like I'm waiting for it.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
That's supposed to take place right after the time of
that show, you know what I mean? Yeah, because it
was like that stuff happened. It was kind of rogue
everybody for themselves. Then you know then the Traders, you know,
he kind of had to come in and rebring you know,
Restrat there, like I'm the one over everybody again.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
So I'm like, okay, it's like I like how because dude,
got that weird. It's like not.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Star Wars because it ain't really the Magic Ship, ain't
like Light Savory. It's like Fortune Tailor, like Psychikey, but
it's still in space, but it's more a p P
instead of like, I can't wait.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
You know you're gonna be a lot. You're gonna be
disturbed by one scene. You told them. I'm just gonna
let you know right now. Spaces give you a trigger
on on and you're gonna be disturbed by one scene
you'll see. But that's how my week went.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
That sounds like that's exactly my week was good.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
I had a great time in Atlanta or I was
doing the can It Presents cover show. Also, I have
a really bad allergy attack because of the change of
weather and stuff like that. That's why I'm struggling. But no,
it was a good weekend, good night in Atlanta, covering theater,
had a lot of fun. And it's one of the
things where like I did really good and just felt

(11:59):
really good about the whole trip.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
It was cold in Atlanta. That was that was unsuspected.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
But also we'll go ahead to this episode two out now.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
But also yeah, no, I like also the flight home
was pretty good too, because you know how we always
had the issue. Wait, so you didn't get stuck in Atlanta? No,
I didn't. Yeah, trip, I think I figured it out.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
I think I figured out you got to get the
flight in the morning. No matter what, you can't get anything.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
And that's what I could be doing.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Yeah, yep, I don't play that. I get the first
sight flight self. I don't want my flight time. I
try to get that. One time I try to get
a late flight, it got delayed by three hours. I said, no,
never doing that.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
You don't never feel me every time it's in Atlanta though, No,
that's all I said. It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
I mean that was Atlanta. Where that flight when my
flight got delayed for three hours, we will Atlanta when
that happened.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Is Atlanta.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
I don't know why Atlanta don't sunk with us like y'all,
y'all need to stay here.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
That's why.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
That's why I said it's crazy because Atlanta because I
used to have issues with level.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
But that's like one of my favorite places. Like I
love Atlanta as a place. Just fu the airport. The
airportport is damn like an ammerusement part because.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
It's not much difference between Atlanta and Dallas.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
It's not. I'm not used to Dallas either still to
this day, nigga.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
But the airport serious, wasn't that bad. Like I got
through the line pretty only to me like.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Don't have some Yeah, you ain't got that any of that.
It was like witchcraft and especially.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
With like on the flight home, I ain't have nobody
on my role either, so that was pretty decent.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
I got to put my feet up.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yeah, oh that buy your seat things bull crap, you
got buy you gotta pay for your seat selection.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
They just started. Yeah, we didn't have to do that
last we didn't. It just started. You have to pay
for your seat slash, no matter what, very did they
actually give you your seat? Yeah, but you got paid
for it.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Like if you want to see in the hour, which
where I have to use to get to see?

Speaker 1 (14:11):
That was his basic fact. Uh yeah, I'm.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
Glad I know that next time, Yeah, because I know
not just always if we got to book both of us,
hit me away from you.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Yeah, I don't. I always tried to know. The last
two flights, I tried to remember they got delayed and
they just put us anywhere that they could now you.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
Know, it's been good, though you wouldn't know the last time.
You remember when we went to goddamn Medieval Times. That's
the last time I've just ever been sat in between
two people.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
And I couldn't even.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
Be mad because you know, the old white dude next
because he was cool too, So you know what.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Fuck it?

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Next time we're going definitely not getting that Queen's Court
thing because it wasn't worth it.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
I'm just gonna say it, give us some third.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
I appreciated that type ship though you know we can
still out the front row.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Still it was.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
I was able to ignore the funk out of everybody
except for you and the big dude next to me.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Type ship with him and his wife was cool ship.
We just outa in big ass chicken.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Wings and ship, but all good trip. I finally saw
I finally watched the Last Dragon. I thought that was like,
are you serious? Yeah, I've never seen it before. I
just finished.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
I don't just for fucking spect. I always thought it
was a comedy. Bruce Leroy is one of my heroes
as a child. I always thought, you want to know,
one of.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
The reasons I learned as a child because of Bruce
Lee Roy, I was trying to get the glow, so
you first you finally saw.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
When who was the baddest man around show.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Bro.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
You want to know the realist moments in a nigga
life is like when he's when show enough got the
red glow and then le Roy has been told this
whole movie, you have to get the gloat and he
saw this nigga red glow was like, what the Oh
my god, he got his ass for like five minutes straight.

(16:11):
That's one of the most greatest American Black stories ever.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Ship It do open like a comedy though, showing the
first show up in the.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
Movie, Bro Master the show that that was one of
the most greatest intros for a goddamn villain ever when
they walked in and sequenced and he just walked straight
in with a cape nigga and made everybody.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Get out his ale nigga.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
That is an American Barry Gordon fucking produced that damn movie.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
You know that aight is Cocaine was cocaine the nigga
it was. It was.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
It's a good movie. I like all these remakes.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
I still have that movie on d d v D
right now. What was I about to say about but
you still have it on DVD to this day, nigga. Yeah,
I've never saw the movie, but I watched it. I'm
glad I did the Lady living.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
Lord Shaw and you know, yeah r I p because
you know, yeah she oh yeah, she odeed.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
That was the eighties nigger. You know she was one
of princes prodigies. What she wasn't she in propriate?

Speaker 4 (17:21):
I want to say she appeared and she went like
a big wait, yeah, matter of fact, I think she was.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
But then you know she became the league girl for them,
but then.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
She ended up yeah, living after that laurd Charles. That
was like one of the first just like I'm in love.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Oh no, but yeah she was gorgeous. I was like,
but no, it's funny. If you watched that, you could
tell like she was lit that movie her eyes like
she was like, yeah.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
She was playing the Dazling the stress type ship. But
then cocaine was cocaine.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
But no, that's a really good That was like a
really good movie.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
I had some I saw that we should randomly see
we can get time. You know he's still lying, what's
really he did a brother club your Fields? But was
he has he been anything recently.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
You don't off his money now.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
It's a story of the stories, so I'll tell you later.
It's deeper. It's a lot one of them. One in
Hollywood moment.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
What give me?

Speaker 4 (18:24):
Like a I guess he got fucked over. So's some
money thing I get type ship. That's one while we'll
never get another one and I.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Don't want another.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
Like Last Dragon without you can't do that with that's
like that's past. Like you know how you can't If
you're gonna do a Blade movie, you gotta have wezards nice.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
You can't do it Last Dragon without him being like
he got onf of somehow he gotta do a random
cameo as like a nigga with a piece of shot
like his daddy or some ship random you know what
I mean? You're yeah, yeah, I don't you mean.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
It's hard to do one of you know how uh
Cobra Kai, how Cobra Kai kind.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Of did like in this era niggas fighting type thing.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
It'd be really hard to do a New York like
a Last Dragon now in New York.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Uh what a dream music? I don't know, maybe that should.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
I remember when I was a kid, I didn't want
to watch it because I was mad because I had
credit a superhero sounded just like Brisolero was the goat.
I felt like they stole my idea, even though the
movie came out like twenty years before that time.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
You are the last dragon reality.

Speaker 5 (19:37):
You probably heard it or saw it as a baby
or toddler and it like stuck in your head and
you didn't know.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
That does happen a lot.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
You random to see that ship on the on the
on the on the TV in the background, like it's
kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
And then you forget you saw it. You know, I
think they stole my ideas from the future. You know,
this's episode of South part where Cartman did this ship.
I forgot what it was episode. I don't know. But
it's time for a break.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Yeah, let's go to a quick break. But when we
come back to dojo after this and we are back,
so going to the jojo, dre what you got.

Speaker 4 (20:19):
Except y'all we're backing this bitch. Randomly in my life,
y'all know, I'll be randomly hopping on all types of
random games that people tell me about or that I've
always heard of, never got around two and randomly hop
all as y'all know, I had.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
Ran Stalker earlier this year.

Speaker 4 (20:36):
I mean not Stalker, got Damn the Metro series earlier
this year because I like post apocalyptic Russian shit. It's
it's kind of interesting because you know, as Americans, we
don't really know much about Russia. So when we get
these type of things from like Russian studios, Ukrainian not Russian. Hey,

(20:56):
I mean, hey, Ukraine used to be part of Russia.
That's why they's you know, that's why they did the thing.
That's why they.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Did the thing.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
But you know, when it kind of like that area,
I guess what it is the western part of Europe
that's like not Russian nomo, but they not like you're
you're but they are Europe. But you know what I mean,
you know how you go Slavia or not you go
Slavia Nomo that. But I've been running the Stalker too

(21:26):
because I like anomalists.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Like how they I guess the idea of how they
made the Chernobyl incident create.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
I guess a big zone of like anomalist stuff happening,
which is always a cool little I like the nuclear
makes stuff happen in fiction thing if it goes nuclear
and some like magical warp inverted anomalous stuff happens. I'm there,
you got me, But they're running this so far. When

(21:54):
it plays, it plays. The only thing drives me right
now is so goddamn like it's it's it's not buggy.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
It's like I've seen a few bugs, but it's just this.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
It's a really bad like like when I played, I'm
playing it on Potato mode, like everything low and like
I've played Black I six and I ran star Field
on high quality on both just to make sure I
wasn't tripping on my rig. And goddamn it, Abernathy is
doing her goddamn job.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
So it's not my PC. It's the goddamn game.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
But you know how, I guess, like four years ago
and I was talking about how Cyberpunk is glicy is hell,
but it's a really fucking good game under the glicios.
That's how Stalker two is. It ain't as bad as Cyberpunk.
But I guess this is me becoming a PC nigga,
because Tony, I get with when PC niggas be like
they get a game and it's not running good as

(22:48):
hell for the first few minutes, you know, when it's
on console, I really don't be like getting it because
it's like, I mean, it might it might crash, but
that's about it.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
Nah.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
I've literally been stressed out on stream, like tweaking sentence
like all right, let's see if this works out it
run good for me. It's like I've really been trying
to figure out the way to just make it rank
good and I'm like, Okay, this really got to be
the game. But then did research and it's like, okay,
this for everybody right now.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
It's not just me.

Speaker 5 (23:17):
Game is not well optimized, but it is not. It
comes as a surprise to No Stalker fam.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
Apparently apparently, yeah, and that's what everybody was saying, because
I guess the way they got to sit, like the
AI system with their anomalies and like people walking around,
that's the one I be talking about. I appreciate certain systems,
but damn it, it's hard to make it run at times.
But it's like, apparently they released the statement already said
like we're working on it, but I guess if they can,

(23:46):
just if they can literally just make the game playable,
because apparently the AI system is still not going to
be like big fixed in this first past they got coming,
but at least it's gonna be like straight playable because
I'm not a survival game nigga. But it's like this
is really just like I'm I'm kind of hooked a
little bit, like you're talking, like I can see this

(24:08):
is really a good game. I'm running through it, but
it's like it's so god it it's hard to I
can't even make it through it because I keep glistening
on me and I really want this to be It's
like it's it's good.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
I just it's just like unplayable as fuck.

Speaker 4 (24:22):
But I don't want to spend the sixties to like
playing on place because I know it's on PlayStation, but
I don't.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
Want to do it.

Speaker 4 (24:27):
You're playing, what I mean right, playing on game Pass,
So it's like, ah.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
Well it's one of that because it doesn't run any
better on consoles. I appreciate that, Thank you Jesus. So
you know what I mean. That's all right? Who so
see what I mean? Because that's one of them. It
makes it's good enough to make you be like fucking
let me just get on console side. I know it
might not fuck up as this, but not just say
that I'm good who but.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
I highly suggested when they've passed this ship the fuck
up because this is I feel like, this is it
depending on what I happened next year. This can't get
some awards I went to that Game of the Year,
but it could. It got potential. It has really good potential. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
GT six comes out next year, and.

Speaker 4 (25:11):
So that's why I say GTA six because we already
know how this sweet feel to be. But it's like
anybody else, they get any hyper recognition during that sue
you did your job. Yeah, but yeah, just when it
gets passed. Check that out, y'all. It's straight like I'm
not a survival game nigga, but that one doesn't hooked
me a little bit. I'm in there. But rolling up

(25:35):
next week, got we did in a minute. So let's
go ahead, go to the guys doing best of class.
We done already took over for the nine to nine
to two thousand. So now we are in the jolly
old year of two thousand and one, and I guess
you know I was gonna start off easier where I
guess it means.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
We did two thousand. Yeah, oh yeah, you're right. I
told y'all it was a toy that was Ai Tony.

Speaker 5 (26:00):
About y two k right, and then I was like,
wait was that nineteen ninety nine we talked there, and
you're right, it's two thousand.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Trying to turn your camera right now and go get
a spoon. There is no spoon.

Speaker 6 (26:11):
Bitch, no do no, don't you do that? No AnyWho
not even to do this right now? All right, so
boom two thousand and one, y'all. This was like the
era of so funny shit. I'm trying to figure out
how to explain it. This is like middle this is
like nah, this is this is the elementary me.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
But this is like when I'm at the I don't
started getting like basic storylines in you know, like if
some complex mythological math but Machiavelli and shit's going on,
I can I can understand the deepness a little bit
of it if it hits you.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
Yeah, So starting off with this, this is what started
I guess my rampage to realize that I'm kind of
beast shit crazy. This kind of was the realization of
I could hurt people me just random learning NPCs gt
A three when I learned I could just get six
stars and make the military come after me.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
You can use the g t A three is the
beginning of me using cheek codes that ship you not.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
And it's like the story and people don't really just
like appreciate it because it was so simple because that
was still I guess like Rock started learning the no
word protagonists because that was the last of it when
you just basically just robbing the bank.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
John did not talk it all, call me cloud, Claud
did not talk it all.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
And it just start off with you getting shot by
you getting like shot by your by your girlfriend, and
you gotta break out of jail to kind of just
rise back to the top of Liberty City. And this
is their first like three D world. This is like
we always talk about g t A five. They gt
A three was the beginning of them making three D world.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
It started at Liberty City on PS two.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
So they don't always have a special place in my
soul because that was like one of the first games
when my uncle got a p S two, because you know,
I stayed with my grandpeople, so it was like me,
my grandpeople, my grandparents.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
And my uncle my moved out, so and he.

Speaker 4 (28:14):
Got a PS two and he and he was like
only played Madden and GTA was like the first just
random shooting game he had that.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
I just started running like, damn, this is leak.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
Remember I remember when you had to pick up the prostitute. Yeah,
the whod That took me three days to figure out
that and you.

Speaker 6 (28:32):
Had to take them to the police party Convince ship yep.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Well R three Worlds, I didn't know you clicked the.

Speaker 4 (28:42):
Oh my god, yeah, people learning you had to click
the guy that people learned.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
It was really that was six buttons.

Speaker 4 (28:49):
I'm so glad mystery L three and R three. I
feel like that was like everybody's first fuck up when
like the ANALYSTI came out like.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
Was like, hell is R three? What type of witschcraft
coming up?

Speaker 4 (29:02):
Nixt This is also where Xbox niggas just kind of
learned to just lose, Nigga.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
This is the beginning of the Xbox shooters. Halo come
Baby Ball, the one, the one who changed it all.

Speaker 4 (29:14):
When Master Chief said made a statement like hey, I'm
gonna solidify myself as a video game. He was basically
the second coming of Doom Slayer. We need a big armor, op, Nigga.

Speaker 5 (29:26):
It's really really revolution The fps games I think around
that time, and I didn't. I didn't have an Xbox
at this time. I was still deep in my Dreamcast
and my game Cube real so, but I did play
Halo because I had a friend. No, my mom had
a friend who had an Xbox. So I didn't get

(29:47):
to play, but I didn't. I wasn't deep in the
Halo trenches yet.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
That's how I'm with my cousin because it's like we
was the PlayStation niggas, but my cousin and them, It's
like I had Nintendo and some of this shit, but
my cousin they had Sega at Xbox.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
So I played Drink Cage. I played Drink cas and
they had an Xbox, so they put me on Halo.

Speaker 4 (30:09):
And you know, this is before Call of Duty started,
like they started making their comeback come back.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
This is still like military Call of Duty times. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (30:16):
I don't think I got into Halo until probably two
thousand and three or something.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
Those niggas came in there too, and they Low two.

Speaker 5 (30:25):
Two and three two came out in two thousand and four.
We're not there yet, but I played. I played before that,
and I didn't get into it until I started getting
into PC gaming, which was later on about two thousand
and two, two thousand and three. I think it's two
thousand and three because my first experience in Halo multiplayer
was on PC. I loaded into a lobby, like my

(30:49):
first ever lobby, and I loaded and just get a
ward hug rolls over on top of me. As soon
as like I'm not even five seconds into this lot.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
Get another all or nothing, just fun. Guess what, that's
the day you became.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
A man telling you that was the day everything changed
for me? Ship?

Speaker 4 (31:11):
It was it was it was like the wild that's
the beginning. And like you know how everybody about the
toxic gamer ship. That was the beginning right there. It
was like phase one, the early days before we all.

Speaker 5 (31:23):
Actually I don't remember if Halo had chat I do
not remember.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Did not.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
That's when Niggas was dead as it's like doing the
type ship. They were typing at each other brood. But
next up, this is like pretty much the to me,
one of the solidifying moments when Smash Brothers became an
actual contender in the fighting game community.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Smash Brothers Melee Drop. Yeah, sure, did I have that game?
You know in day one the game cube that was
that was game Cube. Smash Brothers is such an underrated era,
but you know it really is.

Speaker 4 (32:02):
That was like that in between, like you know, when
like Dreamcast died, GameCube was the one able to play
a lot of random ship because people don't remember the
remake of Medica Solid one was on Dreamcast.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
That happened. But Mass Brother's Melee was the goat. I
had saved up a whole bunch of money. How much
was the game cub launch? Its like? Was it? Like, yeah,
I remember I was saving them my lounge. You know.
It was always the bundle type ship that comes to
one hundred. Wow, Man, imagine inflation like a motherfucker is

(32:36):
a simple timer.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
Man.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Next year we got Goddamn, this is the one. Once again.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
I always say this is like the one that kind
of messed me up and maybe start thinking about it
in a different way. Medica Solid two drop that year.
As a child, I was kind of not ready.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
I was nine.

Speaker 4 (32:51):
I was not ready for the type of philosophies that
game was producing. Type shit to this day a Silicon
politics weird because of the game.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
I still gotta get the remake.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
Next up, we got probably one of the greatest Hacking
Slashes Ever, Definite May Cry one Golded, and I forgot
what game that's oh ship, y'all remember on the Musha
with the Samurai.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
It was like Resident Evil but with a Samurai. Funny,
funny shit.

Speaker 4 (33:23):
It came from a glitch, you know, the juggling system
that was a glitch and on the Musha. But they
so they basically made a whole game off of it
with being it overcoming Devil May Cry.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
Yep, Dante the Goat Dantean version.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
Next up we got the beginning of Bullet Time with
Goddamn Max Pain, one of the saddest the text of stories,
Goddamn Evia, I still gotta go back and Rend I'm
still mad.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
They never re released.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
Max Pain three because that been was hard basically what
it was when Nizzelle watch that was Bald with the
Hawaiian shirt off with that Man on Fire, Yeah, Man
on Fire, Max Paying three is basically Man on Fire
with Bullet Time.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
Get a movie.

Speaker 4 (34:05):
Yeah, Hey, funny shit. That movie was so ass, but
it was like it was so bad. It's good because
it went so far off, but it still was the
kind of there. It is like one of those like
em you tried, but.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
No, I remember watching like I don't know, I just
baguely remember seeing it's one of.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
Those your vagueler. It's like one of you know, I
want to say, like, yeah, it's basically.

Speaker 4 (34:29):
A weird fever dream. If you watch it now, it's
still gonna feel like a fever dream.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
Shit, you not next up?

Speaker 4 (34:35):
Funny shit, This is like one of my like in
the Game Boy Advanced era, this is like probably one
of like one of my.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
Favorite RPGs that never got a remake.

Speaker 4 (34:45):
They finally bought it back on the Nintendo Switch, like
classic collection of Golden Sun.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
It's probably one of the hardest RPGs up. I forgot.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
It was like a good team of niggas that made it.
But check that out if you ever board on Switch.
That's a nice one.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
We also got Silent Hell to the original when Konami
first started getting into their ignorance of like all right,
we can make scary stuff too, because cap Com is
whooping our ass.

Speaker 4 (35:12):
We got damn Rizdin Evil. But guess what we got
Riders and this is them like fresh.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Out like Mediga. This is off Mediga too, so you
know they getting deep.

Speaker 4 (35:23):
They got soliloquies and ship and Haku's going damn it
that I felt that was racist a little bit.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
Uh bucket, I'm standing on it. I'm standing on it,
and we're gonna close it up with poon. Y'all got
I got that was two thousand and one. Yeah, Pokemon
Crystal came out two thousand and one, hear me trying
to close it. Then, Now the game of almost all.

Speaker 4 (35:47):
Now you know what, you know what we did because
last episode we had did Pokemon. I forgot because Christal
came out. We said that Crystal came out.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
The next came out of the same year that the
Game Boy Color came out.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
I think the game the game, but I thought the
game I think Advance Advanced no color or no, it
wasn't that was like Gameboard Color, no matter.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
If you're right, you're right, you're right because there was
because uh wait, no, it can't be because.

Speaker 5 (36:17):
Yeah, Game Boy Color was ninety eight because I had
one in the third grade.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
So that's the one. Was the event gotta be?

Speaker 4 (36:23):
Yeah, because Golden Son was definitely for the Advance.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Okay, no, okay, that's why I thought it was two
thousand and one.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
Okay, that's what I thought.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
But but the matter of fact, yep, yep, yep, because
you can still put the game but color conscious is
in the advance.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
Yeah yeah, because Crystal was still had was still a
gameboard color game.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
But you can still play Crystal in color if I'm
not mistaken.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
You know Crystal was a color game. Yeah, it was
a color game. But you know some some of the
color games you can put in the advance.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
And then going you know, yeah, I agree, you don't
know color type ship.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
I just remember first getting because that's why. Okay, so
we had just like that was a good technical point
and I liked it that.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
We had just like randomly been to went to game
stop me.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
By Mama Eli, and we had.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
Brought the gameboard color with the Crystal to it. And
that's why we had got the gameboard color because it
was cheaper because game Boy Events had just came out. Yeah, boy,
endless nights playing Pokemon Crystal just crazy.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
Did y'all share a game save? You? And what did
y'all share a game save? Did they do you like me?
And you know you got both of y'all game boys?
They both got, Yeah, they got both of us game boys.

Speaker 4 (37:37):
Okay, so they used to do me and my little
brother because they're just by each of.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
Us our own and like that, Like say I got poking.

Speaker 4 (37:43):
Like every time a Pokemon game come up, they'll give
me one the one that I want, and then get
him the opposite one.

Speaker 5 (37:49):
I been crashing out of someone like I had to
share my game save with a sibling and liked.

Speaker 1 (37:56):
To do it at first.

Speaker 4 (37:56):
That's why we had to establish that route, like get
him his own ship.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
We had the shadows we got each I remember they
both got us PSPs.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
That ship was I really I've been really been wanted
to play Pokemon and the Pokemon game I really wanted
to play it was Christal the game.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
Just emulate that you can do that on your phone. Honestly,
I'll probably have because I've been missing a game. The game.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
There's so many long nights sitting in front of the
light because Game Boy Killer didn't have a light thing.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
On like that. I have a little light attachment, the
little lamp you think you could plug into. Yeah, I
have all had that.

Speaker 5 (38:36):
It's because we used to drive at night a lot,
or when I go to Mexico, and so I didn't
have anything to do and I couldn't play my game.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
Boy at night. So they got me one of those lights.
I could, but I had.

Speaker 4 (38:49):
To buy one of them myself. But about the you
know how they used to have a little whole kid
that come with that ship. It got the magnifying glass,
the light got the little it got, the little battery pair.
It costed like eighteen dollars. The game now an EB games.
Remember EB game. I remember having to drive on a
long farade and I was using the light in the

(39:11):
car to try and play the game.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
That was so I tried to do that. They got
mad at me immediately and that's when they caught me
the light. Yeah, they turned it. It just made me
turned on. They're like, we're going to get pulled over.

Speaker 2 (39:22):
That's illegal, which like it was crazy, like they said
that was illegal.

Speaker 1 (39:28):
We couldn't like no, it's not.

Speaker 4 (39:30):
Yeah to this day, but it still just made me
pairano and to this day, I shit you not. But
random shout out to my daddy too, because it was
like funny ship. I skipped the advance like I straight
had a color for a minute and then I randomly
came up on like advance like right before the SPS
came out in like a garage.

Speaker 1 (39:51):
You know how, it's like, all right, funny Ship when
you know how, you know when I was with the movie.

Speaker 4 (39:55):
Coming to niggas like clear our houses and ship and
they just leave the ship. Nigga tame with my daddy
found in Advanced the game Boy. Advance was like nigga
found this in the house while I was staying that
bitch up.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
But the end day a battery on the back of it.
Nah sh the bitch.

Speaker 4 (40:10):
It just it just didn't have no games, bitch like legit,
I do need it with some batteries.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
And you know that's before you could charge it. You
just need the batteries. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (40:18):
But that Christmas he got us an he got me
and my little brother SPS and boy, when you got
that light on your game Boy, you felt like a
real nigga. Then that was when ship and when you
had the back light, Oh, the game got sucked up
right there.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
You could play in the dark.

Speaker 2 (40:36):
That's the roy era I skipped though I never got
an SP. I got a DS.

Speaker 4 (40:40):
That's c and I skipped the DS. But then funny
Ship I got. I got the three DS on sophomore year.
Really type of ship.

Speaker 5 (40:49):
Well to wrap back around just second, just so we
can wrap this segment up. The other games that got
are Final Fantasy ten. I'm really surprised you didn't name that, Drake.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
I thought you were gonna do it.

Speaker 4 (41:01):
I was waiting and I felt like if I was
gonna go on and I was gonna keep talking a minute.

Speaker 1 (41:06):
Seymour and super Monkey Ball great game.

Speaker 5 (41:10):
Underrated. I don't know why I played that. Damn it
was his Hell, dude, I had that on the GameCube.
I played it so much like I just I wanted
to I wanted to complete it.

Speaker 1 (41:22):
I think that was probably.

Speaker 5 (41:23):
No, that wasn't the first game, but that was definitely
like when I said, yeah you could. There were like
little achievements you could get in there, you know, percentiles, the.

Speaker 4 (41:33):
Games like you never really finished, you just get a
little further every time.

Speaker 1 (41:37):
No, you could. You definitely could. There were levels and
stuff like progression.

Speaker 5 (41:41):
I gotta go back now, but it was definitely when
I learned that the ratings in these games were like
little wonky. No, there were something that I could strive
for and be like, yeah, this makes me feel good.

Speaker 1 (41:53):
The dopamine fixes you.

Speaker 4 (41:55):
Know they would, right, they right, that's receivable.

Speaker 1 (41:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (42:00):
That same year was when Sonic Adventure two came out,
and you know you had to get the rankings. You
had to get s Frankins on all of them.

Speaker 1 (42:08):
You had to be great.

Speaker 4 (42:12):
But my bad or Another random window I always appreciate
too is Jack and Daxter. The first one that's like
people know about, like every think like Ratchet and Claim
is Jack and Daxter. I feel like in slat Cooper
was like them, was like a straight up. There was
the Ogs of PS two. It was like, oh, cradles

(42:35):
and it's always funny because you gotta you gotta equate
cradles with them too.

Speaker 5 (42:39):
It was like the faux horsemen of PS two. Of
PS two, that was ther game Castle, I mean game cast,
Jesus not. It's late, man, it's late going out. So
I had Sonic Adventer too.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
Loved it.

Speaker 5 (42:53):
One of my favorite games. And I think that's it
for that year. Oh s Sex tricky. Love that game.
One of the first boarding games I played. Found out
I liked snowboarding games after that.

Speaker 1 (43:05):
And that's it. So we gotta go to the break.
We gotta go to a quick break.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
But when we come back Game of Ward number sees
after this and we are back. So game war numbers
just happened. I think a DLC is gonna win Game
of the Year. Well, I'm here a dl C.

Speaker 1 (43:26):
You know it's so, I do. I called it like
when we talked about this that.

Speaker 5 (43:31):
Oh my god, I can't believe they made the exception
for I mean, don't get me wrong. Shadow of the
Tree is the size of a game itself, like it
could if you had sold that separately, it would have
it would have been amazing just by itself.

Speaker 1 (43:45):
Do you do you think that should really be? Right?
There is game?

Speaker 3 (43:51):
So do you know?

Speaker 1 (43:53):
I am I'm laying my foot in the ground. I
feel like DLC should.

Speaker 5 (43:58):
Not be yes, But unbiasedly, I am very torn on
it because I kind of feel the same that I don't.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
I don't know that they should be Game of the Year.

Speaker 4 (44:09):
That should be its own category. If you're gonna do
some ship like that, like a DALC of the Year
or something, because if you're gonna do that, Phantom Liberty
should be right. The Phantom Liberty should be a Game
of the Year nominee too.

Speaker 1 (44:22):
I'm just saying, well, that was last year, right, and
it did win? That was did it? I thought this
was this year.

Speaker 5 (44:28):
No Phantom Liberty was last get you'll fax straight, yeah,
last year, September of last year.

Speaker 1 (44:34):
Okay, okay, all right, all right, but yeah, you see
what I mean.

Speaker 4 (44:38):
But that wasn't the game of the year contended, and
it could if they're doing it.

Speaker 5 (44:42):
Like that, dude, it wasn't gonna be balder ska. Let's
be honest, it wasn't.

Speaker 4 (44:47):
But storyline wise it was better than a lot of
other ship if we're doing that type ship.

Speaker 1 (44:53):
But if Black Milt once again, that Black mit don't win, this.

Speaker 4 (44:56):
Ship is read all right game and then it is
like the best game direction is the exact same thing,
and my ship about it is like award for outstanding
the creative division.

Speaker 1 (45:10):
And innovation and game direction and what is that even?
All right?

Speaker 4 (45:13):
All right, so what does that even mean when you
go into that ship game direction? Yes, well, it's just
what did they change, like what have they done to it?
Basically platform or change their game you know, and a
meaningful birth is the same ship changed to like open

(45:34):
world for rebirth and that was you know, that was
already for I mean, it's still the zone open world
ship Street I played.

Speaker 1 (45:45):
Shut the hell up, all right, you don't even play
ship Nigga? All right, so how.

Speaker 4 (45:51):
Did what game direction that tree go in? That's different
from the from the basic.

Speaker 5 (45:57):
The weapon they brought in a whole bunch of the
all the new weapons play entirely different from how it
did before, and I would argue that the boss design
is way better to.

Speaker 2 (46:07):
Arsenal also with the different I once again, I was
just bullshit.

Speaker 1 (46:13):
I'm still on black myth.

Speaker 4 (46:15):
But all right, but lot, okay, can you tell me
what because everybody keep on telling me this is like
super really good.

Speaker 1 (46:22):
It's a solitaire. No, it is poker.

Speaker 5 (46:25):
It is a roguelike poker game, and I have heard
that it is very good. I've actually been hearing about
it since it came out.

Speaker 1 (46:33):
And I can't.

Speaker 4 (46:34):
It's like I don't know because I just keep saying
a card game and it throw me up.

Speaker 1 (46:39):
But everybody that keep talking about it is like, bro,
it should leave.

Speaker 5 (46:41):
Yeah, that's what I've heard as well. I've heard that
it is a big old time eater. It'll you'll forget
your whatever you're doing and just get lost in it
for hours.

Speaker 1 (46:52):
And you know what, I can't. I believe it roguelikes
can do that.

Speaker 4 (46:57):
You ain't lying it get addictive and get addicted and
you start getting invested. But and Astrobody is the last
numbery on it, and I feel.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
Like I've heard a lot of good about that game.

Speaker 4 (47:07):
It's like I didn't play the It's like I played
a good minute of it, and.

Speaker 1 (47:11):
It's like I do.

Speaker 4 (47:12):
It's so it's like, you know how we had we
Sony know how to make a good love letter to
like all the old the ship they've done over the years,
and they use Astrobot to you to do that because
basically the astro By world is all just nothing but
old Sony stuff.

Speaker 1 (47:30):
Yeah, That's what I've heard.

Speaker 4 (47:32):
It's like, but the way that if you ever, like
when niggas talk about the duing sense, like controller play,
you gotta play like Astrobody, you really feel it, you
know what I mean? That that pushed the controller to
the limit. The best narrative we got Final Fantasy Rebirth
like a Dragon, which is the you know that always
fucked me up because it's like a dragon now and

(47:53):
it's no longer your Kuza, which I kind of get,
but damn it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (47:59):
I think like the Dragson Dragons sounds more racist to.

Speaker 4 (48:03):
Me a little bit I agree, but metaphor Refentasio, which yeah,
which from the persona Niggas, which I didn't hear nothing
but good about. And if that's one of their stories, who,
I'm pretty sure he's gonna get serious. They know how
to do that. Silent Hill too and send you with
saga hell Blade Too, which is one of them. I

(48:24):
still got a rent uh, he'll Blade too and Solid
Hill to best.

Speaker 1 (48:29):
Narrative, okay, for b help, I thought we were stilling
Game of the Year for some reason.

Speaker 4 (48:33):
I was like, I don't know, Oh, Solent Hill too,
maybe from what I've heard, but I don't what did
I said, I don't know. For best narrative though, I
had to go with hell Blade Too off like the
depiction of like mental health and all of that, how
she was going through it, and like just the acting

(48:54):
of that game, Like I'm like, okay, mixed with the
light pair of normal, so you know, supernatural Ship's okay,
this is nice.

Speaker 1 (49:01):
I think metaphor will win. I feel like metaphor because
everyone that's I still don't know the story. Do you know?
What what is? Do you know like like a quick
of it? No? Right, you know?

Speaker 5 (49:15):
It gets really political? I know they tackle a lot
of kind of like really controversial stuff like how how
systemic racism goes through that in that world and it's
a big factor and politics and all that.

Speaker 4 (49:29):
Because that's kind of how Persona five was once beause
once you realize niggas are using like in their like
logic of like people minds to control the government, So
then they're trying to become like the prime ministers Japan
to control everybody minds like they.

Speaker 1 (49:44):
I was like, oh, this sh is getting deep.

Speaker 4 (49:47):
Deep, So yeah, with the I understand if it's one
of them, they already know they can get deep into
this art direction.

Speaker 1 (49:54):
Yeah, I'm going with metaphor. We got Eled and Ring, but.

Speaker 5 (49:58):
That would actually and I think I give Black Myth
Fu Kong the art direction, yeah, because that game was
very visually stunning, and that's one of its strongest points.
I mean, Eldon Ring is visually stunning too. But I
think if I wanted to give a game the award
this year, I'd probably go with Black Myth woud Kong

(50:20):
because Metaphor, I think, I mean, it looks good, but
it's it's still an anime thing and they have really right,
they haven't really changed anything. It's still in the persona style.
I feel.

Speaker 4 (50:32):
I feel Black Mode is like, all right, this is
the fresh. Yeah, we ain't seen trying to come out
like come.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
Like this in a while. I feel, I feel you
on it.

Speaker 4 (50:45):
The next time, we got best going music, Astro back,
Final Fantasy Metaphor, Silent Hill to instill of.

Speaker 5 (50:51):
Like ah, I'm just gonna I did I actually so,
I've heard that Metaphor has like a really that's what
battle soundtrack. That's I don't know they can fight against
Final Fantasies tracks.

Speaker 4 (51:04):
And that's and it's like I haven't seen like the
super saying Boss battles of fun and.

Speaker 5 (51:09):
That's that's just speculation. And I heard them so.

Speaker 1 (51:14):
And the ship that.

Speaker 4 (51:15):
I feel like they can they can win, they'll catch
a slipping is like they they Village music and ship
ain't been the same. Ain't been hitting in a good minute,
you know what I mean, like the random downtime like
city music.

Speaker 1 (51:29):
Yeah, I don't know, it's been on the decline. Be'st
audio design me personally always six I tell you that,
not Black Ops six. I'm going I'm going with I'm
going with I'm going.

Speaker 4 (51:40):
With hell Blade too, it's either hell Blade Too or
Solid Hill Too, because doing they got a lot of
seven due to Final Fantasy seven due two. But I say,
like with hell Blade Too, they got a lot of random,
like when her mind is playing tricks on her, when
they do them inner voices and ship with like real

(52:00):
good headphones in.

Speaker 1 (52:01):
It's it's it's nice. It's nice.

Speaker 4 (52:04):
I'm gonna do a couple more then we could just
move on the best performance.

Speaker 1 (52:08):
We got Brian and White for Final Fantasy seven Rebirth,
handah Tail for Life of Strange Double Exposure, Humberly guns
Out for Star Wars Outlaws, Luke Roberts for Solid Hill Too,
and Melina Jurgens for hell Blade two.

Speaker 4 (52:24):
Once again, I'm going with hell Blade too. Melinas just
that game is nothing but her acting. Yeah, Silent Hill
Too is too, but ah no, it's yeah seen hell Blade.

Speaker 1 (52:37):
If you haven't played themn was, just watch it. It
get deep.

Speaker 4 (52:40):
Okay, this is another one I was looking at because
I'll be one, all right, I gotta you know this week, close.

Speaker 1 (52:46):
This and not everybody else.

Speaker 4 (52:47):
Make sure y'all go check out these because this a
lot more and your vote does count, even though we
only ten percent and then the other is like a
board of people that don't really play games. But I'm
not gonna go in deep into it. When I figured
that shit out kind of hurt. But this innovation inaccessibility,
all right, sonny, When I hear this type of ship
right with me? Right, this is like these are games

(53:10):
that are made for like all right, you know with
the parapleasing people like you know, the people that ain't
got all they like honestly that they like or yeah,
like like how they make games easier for people like
I really do appreciate that when like games actually do

(53:30):
like take the time to make the game playable for
people like that.

Speaker 1 (53:33):
And because that's one of my first things I do.

Speaker 4 (53:36):
Whin I play a game, I'm going to the sentence
so I can say ship, so I make sure I can,
like you know, it.

Speaker 1 (53:43):
Helps me actually be able to better And I'm like,
how you're running through this ship? I actually went through
the sentence.

Speaker 4 (53:48):
But innovation accessibility got black Out six, Diablo Foe, Dragon
Devil Go, Press of Persia, and Star Wars Outlast.

Speaker 1 (54:00):
Yeah, actually pretty good, heart, it was pretty good. I
heard number like nice about it. Then I played on everything.

Speaker 2 (54:09):
I gotta check that out we call Duty made it too?
Is that the only one that's got nominated for.

Speaker 4 (54:15):
I'm nominated for a lot, but the only one I
can always say like that I know for certain is
Call of Dude.

Speaker 1 (54:22):
When they come to like this type of ship, Yeah,
that's gonna say the same.

Speaker 5 (54:27):
I think they'll probably war, And I think I can't
say for sure because I'm not as in tune with
a lot of that stuff, but I have heard that
they have made very like big efforts to be more
accessible for people and make those changes to the game
because you.

Speaker 4 (54:43):
Know, has like them, uh you know Has like the
people that's like super paralyzed but they can.

Speaker 1 (54:50):
Still move their hand and you know, you know they're weird.

Speaker 4 (54:52):
Controller that where it's like each finger is like two
three controllers. Yeah, yeah, they got Yeah, they literally got
entire like they made them completely accessible for people like them.
On Call of Dude, I know that for certain, Like
they got a lot of weird when.

Speaker 1 (55:08):
Set up for people. I see one dude doing it
with just his mouth. Yeah, like they real deal.

Speaker 4 (55:14):
If you got the equipment for it, they make it
so it's like you can actually be good, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 1 (55:20):
And that's what's up?

Speaker 4 (55:22):
Like, okay, like a nigga played the story, but you
might actually be like paraplegic, get fucked getting killed. And
this picture a parapleging nigga murking your ass online And
what if he's Steven hawking your ass and hit you
with the high high as.

Speaker 1 (55:41):
No hot nigga was fucked up.

Speaker 4 (55:44):
It's getting merged by a nigga and hearing that in
your headphones.

Speaker 1 (55:47):
I'd hate myself.

Speaker 4 (55:49):
I never play online again if I get hit like that,
I'm sorry me.

Speaker 5 (55:54):
The thing that makes me hate myself is when I
hear the death comes on called Diddy and it's like
some dad being like, ah, sorry son, that got us.

Speaker 1 (56:04):
Oh I'm just like, oh yeah, yeah, you built.

Speaker 4 (56:10):
You built some character development right there, strong character development.
But that's how we got in the dug. Make sure
you go vote. We gonna probably do a live stream
of it. I'm gonna try and hopefully ain't gotta work,
but we'll see.

Speaker 5 (56:22):
Part Ballers get three. I'm just saying Ballers get three.
Stand right here, it's another year, another award.

Speaker 1 (56:30):
Well fix we got part.

Speaker 3 (56:36):
We're gonna take a look at ten Marvel characters. The
MCU introduced but never properly used them. And this icle
is by Alexander Vallatino. I won't see y'all agree with
these or not. First of off, a number ten, we
got Trump, Yeah yeah, true, my fa the easiest character
to point out when it comes to specified village that
needed a bigger place. And then in the m C

(56:58):
U is a killer robot o Trum introduced in his
UH movie Avengers, ul Tron the homicide of Ai quickly
became one of the biggest treats threats ever to face
the Avengers bringing bringing UH bringing with him plenty of
potential for gripping stories. Sadly, ol Trump was skilled by

(57:18):
his sister Vision with the same in the same film,
and he was introduced, which is trash.

Speaker 5 (57:23):
I feel like this list is gonna be a lot
of villains that were one movies.

Speaker 3 (57:30):
Going by his importance to the comics, ol Tron deserves
to be an overarching multi movie villain on the same
level as Stanos.

Speaker 1 (57:38):
That's right, I agree.

Speaker 4 (57:39):
How Like how even when like the X Men come
in type ship like, they can't even do none of
the Ultron and ship Now, Nope, they're gonna.

Speaker 1 (57:49):
Have to put some alternate Universe ship now long ago. Well,
well they did kind of already did it in one vision.

Speaker 4 (57:56):
Like he was in kinda yeah, yeah, you're right, they did,
You're right.

Speaker 3 (58:04):
Next up, we got Quicksilver seen this coming, and I
mean he kind of old troll himself wasn't the only
character to be introduced and killed off in Sammy Field,
despite having oodles of promise within the series. Pietrow Maximov
a gay quick Silver, the Infinity Stone, he had speister
that runs circles around the Avengers, and the introduction and

(58:26):
fancy Pietrow ultimately is it able to out run some
bullets fired by an old trum Jones.

Speaker 1 (58:33):
No sense made.

Speaker 3 (58:34):
With saving the lives of and a rendal girl giving
him a Harby and the comactic death like waste.

Speaker 4 (58:42):
You know, if he didn't die, how different the MCU
would have went. Also, in the Wanda would not have
had a reason to do none of the ship she did.

Speaker 1 (58:52):
She would not have got a Disney plus sure because
if you look at she went and ran.

Speaker 4 (58:57):
Up on goddamn thing Nelson, he wouldn't even know who
the fuck she was. Yeah, you took everything from me, bitch.

Speaker 2 (59:03):
What Also, if you look at quicksilver in the x
Y universe over there on what was that day's future paths?
What's what he did that slowed everything down? It was like,
that's how fancy he was.

Speaker 4 (59:18):
Pushing, but like pushing bullets, Yeah, pushing ship out of
the way with his finger.

Speaker 1 (59:23):
So him dying by bullets is just super crazy.

Speaker 4 (59:26):
Listening to songs, he had songs sit so I could
just do all of this ship for this song over with.

Speaker 3 (59:32):
Next we got shunk Chi.

Speaker 1 (59:34):
I agree with this.

Speaker 3 (59:35):
This movie is too good for them not to use
his character anymore. In two thousand and one, the Marvel
cine Man Universe added a valuable new hero in Shanxi
and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the teacher of
Matra artist hero Uh. In the film, she finds the
hitting rim of Tallow, the front of his father, the
mortal Warlord Mandarin, and free in the city from the
influence of the Evil Dweller in Darkness and Shanxi's post

(59:57):
credit scene, he then informally in her it was to
the Avengers by Wong, Captain Marvin and Bruce Banner, the
latter who tells him welcome to the Circus. Yet, over
three years since the movie debut Chunk She had yet
to make it sicken it true appearance in the Marvel
Cinevati universe.

Speaker 1 (01:00:12):
So true. I don't understand. I just don't understand.

Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
It because they was having a lot of unsuccessful things
come out around that time when Tongue She came out,
and it.

Speaker 3 (01:00:22):
Was super successful at that time too.

Speaker 2 (01:00:24):
Yeah, yeah, So for them not to have done anything
with it is kind of crazy because he was the
only successful movie of that time.

Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
We got Doctor Samuel Stearns from The Incredible Hawk, one
of the oldest marvesin Mata universe teases that has still
yet to pay off after over fifteen years. Doctor Sammue
Stern and the Incredible Halt is one of the serious, biggest,
almost all plot threads the film is with the Cellier

(01:00:51):
biologists being affected by Bruce Banner's gamma infused blood, entering
a wound on its head increases his mental capacity you
already know it is dramatically and the costs of the
farm in his head. This obvious set up will see
Semi Star becomes the classic Hawk Villa from The Coming,
the leader who is the brains to the Hawks.

Speaker 1 (01:01:11):
Brown.

Speaker 2 (01:01:11):
That's true, That's what a lee should have been the
main villain and the Shehawks series because they have we.

Speaker 1 (01:01:17):
Seen them since. No, No, he was teased.

Speaker 4 (01:01:20):
To they he had an end credit scene, didn't it
Ye back when they first just started doing the business.

Speaker 2 (01:01:27):
But then they also said recently that they were supposed
to be doing stuff with him, like the new phrasesn't
trust me?

Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
See why? Yeah it ain't. I don't see the point though.

Speaker 3 (01:01:35):
Well, next we got Scorpion Spider Man Homecoming. I forgot
how teasing appearances from future villains wasn't a habit the
Marvels generated universe grew out of. In Phase one and
the post credit scenes of Spider Man Homecoming, Michael Keaton's
Vulture is approached in prison by Scott m May asked
for Spider Man's secret identity, only for Tombs to show

(01:01:57):
a change of heart and protect Peter Parker's life. The
prisoner was none other than Matt Bargain. They gave the
Scorpion played by Michael Mando a far Cry three and bet.

Speaker 1 (01:02:12):
Him playing. So that's how I learned about him.

Speaker 4 (01:02:14):
Type ship is Voss because that was probably he started,
you know, when started getting like they like it's like
a famous person gotta be the villain.

Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
He started this ship off because he played Voss to
the what it is?

Speaker 4 (01:02:28):
Do you know the definition of insanity? That speech is
a monologue I used.

Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
In college in theater class in better consult one of
my favorite characters.

Speaker 3 (01:02:39):
All Right, Nicks, we got Jane Foster, Thor, Love and
Thunder by men that cant door. Love and Thunder was
a very flawed film.

Speaker 1 (01:02:46):
That's true with.

Speaker 3 (01:02:47):
Company that doesn't land and wasting casting and Christian Belle
yep as go up the guy butcher and it's a
painfully poorly uh uh c g I fix. If there's
one aspect of the film that really works, however, is
the reintroduction of Jane Foster as the Mighty Thor being
chosen by the Shadow Millionaire to be the next hero.

(01:03:08):
Where the Wild Thorp's power sit her and Throw has
permanently moved away from Earth in the MCU, living off
the planet to raise love by himself. James Foster would
be perfect as his functional replacement as a hero on Earth.
This would even mirror the Mighty Thor's comic debut, carrying
on Thorn's legsy as as a new Avenger. Sadly, Foster

(01:03:29):
succumbs to her council diagnosis and thor Love and Thunder,
the film, introducing a cool new hero with the history
and the franchise, only to Cruey rip Away.

Speaker 4 (01:03:39):
And it was bad because I started to love the
shit out of her where she was trying to figure
out her catch phrase.

Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
Yep F funny and yeah killing her off, I wonder
if it was because they couldn't afford her.

Speaker 4 (01:03:51):
So I was just about to say, that's definitely probably
because they can't afford her number.

Speaker 1 (01:03:56):
Because she was like really, even though people had the issues,
I still say.

Speaker 4 (01:03:59):
She is like the movie and she is just like
I forget, like she's she's a type ship.

Speaker 1 (01:04:07):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 3 (01:04:08):
Next we got Ulysses Claw, one of the most underrated
villains in the Marvel Coming Cinematic universe is uh Andy
Circus Ulysses Claw being at riff. If not an exact
adaptation of the classic Black Panther villain from the comics, Claw,
is he still in jail? Clall is a nasolitely if

(01:04:30):
I bring him Thief who is cursed with the bianic
On for his troubles getting into multiple classes with Black
Panther and Avengers and the Circus plays the unbatteredly evil
vealing with such whimsy and glee that it's impossible not
to enjoin his on screen prison. Sadly, Cloud is unceremoniously
killed by kill Monker and Black Panther, while he also

(01:04:50):
dies in the comics, Plowd is resurrected to become a
genuinely powerful, powerful villain with the body made of per sound,
whose unique this caused him to become a really important
part of the seekert Wards crossover coming. So we considering
the Avenger seeker Ward is on the horizon. It's a
shame to MC you never took a chance to immortalize
him in the same way.

Speaker 2 (01:05:12):
Never know, I think we might see him again. These
people he had, his character was really good. People love
the twitsch. I ain't really like how they killed them, Like.

Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
Just like that's another one of them. You gotta pay
for that one.

Speaker 2 (01:05:23):
Because this nigga had Because this nigga did so much
stuff to the Avengers into like the black Man's stuff
that like him just getting she was.

Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
A world he was a world threat.

Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
Yeah. I think he deserved more, and I think he
would have been he should have deserved like a bigger death.
Also because this dude is like a snake, like he
did so much stuff all right.

Speaker 3 (01:05:43):
Next we got the Warriors Three Thors moved away from
the Shakespeare and fantasy drama of as Guard and into
the cosmic realm of Marvels Wider Galaxy and thought. Raganron
sadly left a few fascinating characters in the original after
dry in the narrative, namely Lady Seth and the Warriors
three throw us best friends and brothers in arms, and

(01:06:05):
the ass Guard and the defensive as Gard, some of
the most decorated and deadly as Guardian Warriors. The trio
is made up of Hogan, the Grim Fandros, the Dashing
and False Stag the spelt. I really didn't care for
them characters too much, So the next one I don't
care about too much.

Speaker 4 (01:06:23):
When one skips the one that was like laying in
the battlefield with her arm off. Yeah, it's just like wait,
it's like I'm waiting to go to the hell. It's
like you have to die. Oh damn.

Speaker 3 (01:06:35):
Five At number two, they got this one, this one
he should be lower to. I don't like this one either,
Goliath and Man of Wife, and then moved self slowly
introduced more and more characters capable of will hate him
special specialty technology. From his Daughter's Hope, the next Wash
to Cassie Lane, Scott's daughter, and five years in the Blip.

(01:06:58):
One arest figure that doesn't get get more time it's
Lawrence Fishbird's Bill Foster. They from a lab part of Hanks.
Foster was the first attested giant sized applications of particles
on people's uh though, Scott quickly smashes his old record
and captain Americans a civil war. Yea, I never never

(01:07:19):
phased me, Lawrence Fishbird.

Speaker 1 (01:07:23):
Remember, remember, I don't even remember.

Speaker 3 (01:07:26):
Do you remember that man watched it all?

Speaker 1 (01:07:27):
I do? I don't remember him in there for some reason.

Speaker 3 (01:07:31):
It wasn't it wasn't that important. Now, I agree with
number one. This is this is just saddest me to
even bring this up again.

Speaker 1 (01:07:39):
Turnals, I agree, that was just a waste of money.

Speaker 3 (01:07:45):
Some of the biggest parts of the comics and stuff. Man,
I just understand. Sometimes the Marvel Cinematic Universe will not
only miss out on the opportunity presented by a new character,
but their entire new cast into the eternals. They rated
the super Sits the Earth to protect humanity from eons
for eons as sentient life developed, guarding them from the

predatory deviants. Those are absences in earlier films had to
be explained away. Yep, that was the first mistake, had
to explain all that stuff. The Turners actually ended up
being some of the most important characters in the lore
of the MCU's Earth. Yep, big key to Humanity, Survivor
and the gaze of Arisham the Judge. Much like Sean

(01:08:28):
she The Turners have been strange in the absence following
their debut for years now because with most of them
being shipped off into space by the end of their
feature film. Even if The Turns wasn't the smash hit
Marvel's Studios intended to be, the mortal protections of humanity
should have came back into play at least once by
now true. Hopefully the Marvel Cinemata universe had some kind

of place for these divine superpowery beings.

Speaker 1 (01:08:53):
It even seemed like a Marvel movie. Honestly, when I
watched it, I didn't.

Speaker 3 (01:08:56):
It was just it had that DC film me not
in a good way, yeah, I say, but yeah, that's
the last corner let's close this thing out.
