At that point, we were personally all tapped out. I
was going to need to raise more capital and I
was going to need to be able to do it quickly.

I was like the rug got pulled from under my feet.
You took all the losses, two million dollars of your
own money out the door.

Absolutely have no tools.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
You know, I had no employees, no credit, you know
I had nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
These aren't the unicorn stories with big venture capitalists behind them.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
We got a box at.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
Midnight and it said fifty four hundred candles. I'm like,
how in the world are we going to do this?

Speaker 3 (01:31):
These are the everyday regular people who you know, who
you love, and who decided to take a risk and
start a business because with great risk comes great reward.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
It was just like a completely bootstrapped hustle your ass off,
non stop grind.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
There's no giving up.

Keep going, make it happen, take the risk and do
whatever you have to do to do what you love.
