Speaker 2 (02:48):
Give me the lean, Bro, I'm saying, but what if
a motherfucker gotta change you and pick you.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
You ain't gonna do that. Don't come over here.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Because I want to. I want to be there.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
I told you, I want everybody come to my house.
I just want to talk a bunch of ship to him.
Like you, boy, he ain't gonna be worth ship, look

Speaker 1 (03:22):
You know that's gonna be Mike at ninety They're.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Gonna be like he could be like Ghost at the
end of Power with the last episode, he said, you
know what, you always needed me.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
That's why ain't gonna be shipp He disrespected. That's what
I want.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
That's why smoked that nigga everybody when I get married
the nigga at the end, he told at the table,
that's Mike at ninety.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
That's one of the best scenes in movie history.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
I don't know if y'all seen the Taji Hitsing movie
or Netflix, please watch it. We'll talk it next episode.
It's crazy, but that's one of the best I sows
of history. He sat at that table. Everybody's all niggas
on me from We're gonna have time in that clip, nigga.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
What you do where? What you want to put on?

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Imna be ninety? I want I want to retire my hawks.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
You're gonna burn that.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
They could never give it up.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Wait zero zero zero That nigga been soaking.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
In the bath too, What a dad nigga? Look like?
No shirt on?

Speaker 3 (04:25):
That nigga probably looked crazy, look like dead. Pulled and said,
fucking costole nigga.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
I wonder why mo fuckers turned gray. Nigga, my uncle
was graying. The motherfucker. I said, Damn, I knew.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
My uncle was light skinned. Man, God bless the day.
I said, Damn.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
They said, for a nigga, look at you, hey, Speaking
of Famy ship, did you see the David's brothers jump
here all right after the fight, somebody go get the boxers. Yeah,
I said, that's.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
A Jeff and hit right there.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I know for sure with no flair fight were around,
I can cancel Christmas if you ever think you about.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
The fight one of us one one you a dead.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Food and don't let our first. Oh yeah, but I do.
I ain't into no competition some one.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
But I thought that was hilarious, brother, see you. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Fact, did I get the chance to check out the
Bees and Lyns one one?

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Unfortunately? I did watch that, bro. Yeah, and how we
expected so.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Much filing Bro. I watched like thirty seconds.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Bro, it was but god damn Bro, Michael Beasy put
on a clinic.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Bro.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
When Kyrie Irvis says I would never play hit one
on one, that.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Is a sign bro too. He can do everything. Fucking
six No sixteen. One of the most gifted basketball players
I saw, one of the ones you've ever seen.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Beasley is like that for sure.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
He wanted them get into your spots. Still the nigga
failing you like that? Bro, It's wild insane. But you
know what y'all say.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Everybody who hoop the under car stuff as far as
well to that, I know a lot of people playing
for like the Tends.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
I like the next chapter.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Man, that's dope, and that's a prime example that the
NBA should adapt some of that. I'm not sure how
they're gonna do it, but that would be dope to
see because you'll get some of the stars and people
we don't think it's all stars and superstars a chance
to really show how good they are.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
If you'll ever got a chance to interview Adam Silver,
what kind of stuff you got talked to me about
about changing the All Star games like that?

Speaker 3 (06:21):
It would depend upon if the patients win the chip
or not, because if we win, then you know, said
my question list will change.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Let's start there.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Well, I just want to ask him what made you
even start messing with the NBA. What how was your
journey just entering the NBA? Don How do you even
sign up for something like that?

Speaker 3 (06:39):
I probably asked him more about like retired player stuff,
how we could do better, even though I know they're
trying to bridge the gap like when people retire, like
setting up payment plans for him to get to the
you know, the retirement of money. Yeah, but I was
you know, people get your pension like fifty five, but

(07:00):
niggas retire like thirty one. So I'll be like, man,
I know they got a bridge plan now, but I
just wonder, like what they would do different? I want
the same talking I have asked about the Tony Snell situation.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
That's like something that is very interesting.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Somebody was in a unique situation that close to getting that,
especially with his you know what I'm saying coming out
saying he's autistic and then to take care of his
kids with specific health plans. I would really like to see,
like what's then playing emotion for that? Like you said,
you retired, A lot of people return to thirty wait
till fifty five of me? Of course, you don't want
sending the body gonna be gone. But that's a long gap.
That's twenty two years. Yeah, that's a big of a gap.

(07:33):
But how do you sign up just to start working
with the NBA. Bro only connections that I have.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
I know he got a law background for sure. Who
he talks hell, I'm like.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Shit, I wonder if you had a jumper back in
the day.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
I also asked him, like, you know, I think for me,
I think it should be a rule where like, once
you get your second contract that you like, every year
whatever it is, you got.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
To put a million dollar plane, this will be mine.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Like you got to put a million dollars in that
plane in an investment portfolio where it can.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Grow over time every year you retire.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
So if you retire with six seven million dollars, you
can have six seven million dollars to last you until
you get to your pension.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
That's far. Yeah, I would do that.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
I mean, even though you've got people that can do
it for your financial but I'd rather be with the NBA.
So you know, like, ain't nobody stealing from you, because
that's a lot of things that happened to players they
get with financial advisors, they'd be stealing and doing all
type of crazy shit.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
You talk about Bees. Bees deal with a lot of
back door with his finances as well. And they look
at it like Tim Duncan, like Kareem some of the
best players that ever played the sport gotten yeah, like
and they obviously they made millions on millions and millions,
but it's just see the greatest people of all times,
they get tricked a little bit too.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Yeah, It'swan Walker still buying all the properties and stuff.
But that's still a crazy story.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Yeah, but I think that'll be I think got to
save a lot of people when it would help a
lot of people, right, because you don't even know, Like
when you're playing basketball, you don't notice that. You're not
saying if they took it from you, you wouldn't even
notice it.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
Yeah, how we're gonna take a million?

Speaker 1 (09:13):
No body will care, Okay, especially if you're doing it
for that.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
I think another question I'll ask him how he feels
about the media, because we've been seeing a lot of
stuff going on, especially with this final series. I mean, listen,
I'm grateful went the chip, but this is Lackluster's ship
and I don't even think it has anything to do
with the teams playing. It's like the coverage with them transition.
It is just being like block like this don't feel
like the finals.

Speaker 5 (09:35):
I want to ask you about that, Like, how do
you feel about like now and not have like finals ship?

Speaker 4 (09:38):
Like on the whatever, people were heard themselves cool, I'm
understanding for the final court they said that the cow
was a hazard. I'm find with that.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
Y'all be playing fast and want to get hurt, But
I see y'all do advertising that you can put that
ship at least for the broadcast. Maybe if it's not
on our court, y'all do everything else. In Toronto, Raptors
had a fucking hollow ground the sh They did a
hologram behind the basket, which was weird to watch.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
What you can do something, bro, They can put the
fake shit down like that was doing.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
But my biggest thing is, like I told you about
this series, and that's not me hating. The markets are
so small, Like even though it's probably the best you
could get as far as basketball, like these two teams
mirror each other. It's a great basket if you're a
basketball fan, it's a great series to watch, but if
you just an average sports fan, it's awful. Yep, right,

(10:28):
because it's the market is just too many. You're not
really familiar with anything in Indiana. No, you're not familiar
with nothing with Oka. See, you might know the players,
but not really Like people still look at Lebron's to
face the league. Yeah he is, but that's what people
still look at. Like some people just like basketball because
they like the Lakers and Kobe Bryant, shit else.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
And don't care, don't care about nothing else.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
So when I seen that it was gonna be Indiana, Okay, see,
I was like, damn, the rating's gonna be down. But
for a basketball peers, this is the best you could get.
Even to the broadcast team, like I know they defensive
out doors. It's just like shout out to Richard Jefferson.
I think Jefferson's dope. He's funny as shit. But like
we miss the days of Mark Jackson and fucking coach

(11:11):
and Mike Bree like those we look for those moments.
We don't got that right now, and all you get
is a lot of consumers who just bashed the product.
And then you look across the board from different media. Right,
y'all not watching these games. I don't know everybody don't
watch these games. Impossible, but y'a don't even have the
energy to like speak highly of the game.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
Y'all just shit on everything.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Just the NBA has changed so much because you don't
have stars and stars, Like, like I said, when you
had Kobe, he was like a star of stars. Like
if you didn't watch basketball, you still knew who Kobe
Bryant was, regardless of like Lebron. If Lebron was in
this finals, this will be a whole different story because

(11:50):
if you don't watch basketball, you still know Lebron James
is fact.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
And that's the thing we don't have.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
In this now, this new generation. Yeah that is you
gotta kind of know. Yeah, was in movies, TV shows,
all kind of stuff.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
Yeah, you know what I mean, like Bron got space
ship whatever.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
But like I was thinking the other day, like if
Tyrese Halliburton in the basketball world, if he got traded,
would it stop everything like when Luca got traded. No,
if sg A got traded, think it would stop everything?
Like when Luka got traded. Yeah, do you think it
would stop? I don't think it would be the same reaction.

(12:31):
The people are okay, big, But think about it, though,
how many stars have already left? Okay, see if it
was like the first time, bro, they didn't give a fuck.
Really when Katie left, even though he went to the Words,
everybody was sitting that he went there.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
It wasn't the fact that he left there.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
It was trade SGA Bro. That's the m v P.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
I think it depends on where you go to, because
I think the Luca trade was so big he left,
but because he went to them.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
I think I think him just getting traded period like
it would have been big.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
It was. It was ridic like.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
What yeah, but like you said to the Lakers, Ron,
it was just like s g A went to the Celtics.

Speaker 4 (13:09):
Yeah, it would be you think it will be big,
it would go this is big.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
I don't know who they did, Like if it was
like s c A for Jason Tatum, like what the funk? Yeah,
But I don't think it'll be such a I think
I mean the trade probably be like I mean, like
this is why they did that. Yeah, it was still
had the NBA world. But when Luca got traded, this

(13:34):
thing global. Yeah, this was like global and I was
just wondering what that happened. And maybe that's the feeling
we got in this NBA Finals, right because you look
at it now, Bro, everybody's wonder where Karvin is about
to go? More than this about this final. They look
like what Cooper flag is about to do? That look
like what the Spurs ones with the number two pick,
where nice might go? It's people more Victual Mohanna when

(13:55):
kicked it with the Monks and shaved his head.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Niggas is like he about to kill next year, like all.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
The things the off season tell you whoever wins, it
don't matter if it's Pacers or Okay, see the next week,
that shit gonna be out the cycle.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
That large somebody were cool flag about to do. Yeah,
they kind of shipped on this finals, and it's nasty.
As a person who loved ball, it's like, damn, man,
this is like this is good ship, but it's just
not the right markets.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
It's the Pinnacle, bro, Like this is supposed to be.
They treated like All Star weekend.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
I've been there though, because our finals was like that
when it was us in Milwaukee and Phoenix.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
Yeah, it was the same kind of situation and that
was good. But that was good basketball.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Yeah, but it was only like it was only fire
to people who watch basketball, like it was only good,
Like it wasn't lit.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
He's saying, it ain't too many of these dudes walking
outside now and everybody's going crazy.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
Hell nah, it wasn't lit. But like I played with
Lynn Sanity. I told you that's how I thought the
Finals was about to be like Lynn Sanity, Like when
I tell you it was damn, there's seven hundred cameras
under the rim when he was just warming up.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
That's what I thought when I seen the final.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
We're gonna go to the finals, like nigga, I'm gonna
get in Orseman deal just for being on a team. Yeah,
that shit was not like that.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
He was walking over. I'm like, just feel like damn,
feel like regular practice.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Man.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
It's a couple more interviews for people.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
He was them, like like Mike though. He was just
so popular. Yeah, ain't nobody been bigger than that?

Speaker 1 (15:17):
Bro?

Speaker 4 (15:17):
He had a t bow like run.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
Bro, Yeah, nobody's been that big. That might not ever
happen again.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
And you know what's nasty. That's the reason why I've
been complaining about tickets. I know it's the finals, for bro,
it feels like a Tuesday game a games Bridge.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
Bro, Why am I paying five more times for this?

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Bro?

Speaker 4 (15:30):
This is crazy? Y'all.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Don't even want to gas the product enough for me
to feel like I'm getting my money's work.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
That's why I agree with you on that, Like y'all not.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
Even you're gonna watch first take niggas like oh yeah,
that's cool, all right man?

Speaker 4 (15:42):
With the cowboys, Like god, damn like talking about it.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
And when I was talking about Aaron Rodgers more than
they was talking about the game. I was like, Damn,
that's crazy, disgusting, bro under the game. Man, it's a
lot of people who give a fuck about the game
that y'all don't. How like, Man, we got to look
into that more for sure. But I do think Katie
about to be a spur. I think that's he do that.
That's going Katie gonna be in spirting. They're gonna keep
the two pick and it's.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Going, Yeah, that's gonna destroy the NBA. It don't making fire,
don't making fun.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
Bring the energy back, bro. Devin Booker is rumored to
get an extension for two years. It's over one hundred plus.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
It's looking at possibly like about one twenty.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Five should shut down.

Speaker 4 (16:22):
I am I'm a son for life. Yeah, I love that.
I've seen that.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
The Detroit Pistons are going going after Myles Turner.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
Yeah, the phone is broke. Stop calling. It's not he
a free agent. Phone is broke. He's a free agent.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
That's what I'm saying. Bro, it's not.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
Cutting him with Myles Turner. I like you, I don't
like the energy last with a chip. We're gonna pay
Miles one hundred meal for three years.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Yeah, we want to lecture.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
That ain't gonna be enough money. If y'all want to
chick my million for three years, that ain't gonna be enough. Boy,
you don't even like honey dogs like that. Bro, you
don't like it's the same place. We can get you here,
my nigga Detroita Indianapolis, not saying.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
Was he here? Can we can make it happen? The
team bus this technically, ain't I told you I ain't
gonna see you today?

Speaker 1 (17:15):
I mean not till Cardio.

Speaker 4 (17:18):
It's talking, Hey talking with ship Mike tam.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Dot com thirty one dollars respect ship included.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
If he go there though, it's the same type of weather,
that's the same ship.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
But if he get a four year deal, they got
a patients have to pay for.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
One twenty five four years, one twenty five miles. Yeah,
come on, bro, we got we got some. You know
what I'm saying, We got some. You're gonna have to
give here.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Give Miles Turner one hundred and fifty million, Bro.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
You are sucking up our salary.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
Give him one fifty or let him go be happy.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
Honestly, if we win a ship and you're gonna get
one fifty.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
I'm not bad, Bro.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
It's time the cash in bro, it is time broft.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Right now, he is deserving about to be third this time.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Y'all trying to stress me out. Bro, I'm trying to
ship to be happy. Y'all trying to tell me I
gotta have Chamas Brian's my starting.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Five next year, chip or not, Bro, Chip or not.
Y'all gotta pay Miles Bro, chip or not out of pocket.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
If he's going to Detroit, Jaalen dream better be a pacer.
That's all I gonna say.

Speaker 3 (18:13):

DJL like what's the beef?

Speaker 4 (18:44):
Three fifty you see four years? You see what we
pay everybody else on our team. Baron Ne Smith is
a guy's gift. Bro. We pay him about fifteen a
year levity.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
Yeah, and them hard as what eighteen nineteen and they're
both locked in for next three years too. No, his
contract kicking, okay, but he's signed. He's tigying a very
team really deal. I think it's like sixteen.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Yeah, it's very, very affordable.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
My nigga Obadiah took you know what I'm saying, nice
little cuts to stay with the game.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
Bro. We can't pay more than Tyres or Pascal. He
ain't paying me more than service. Yeah, but one fifty

Though he deserves it, though, on mean, he deserves you.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Put a banner up, Bro, you've been the consum and
professional all the shit you had to deal with and

York and Bro. He fucked everything up.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
That's a reason why Vic got the slender he got.
People don't know that, Bro, They was deal with a
psychopath coach.

Speaker 4 (20:11):
Bill left. He fucked up everything in the organization, Bro.
Billy Banner, Yeah, Bro, that was That's why he called
me the other day.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
I can't talk about that on camera, but that's the
reason why Bill Banyo left, Bro, because York.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
Was on some funck ship. Bill Bano, he called me

Bro sucking it.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Hold no, no, not Billy, hold on you talking about

that they weren't gonna play for him, and that's crazy, bro. Like, Bro,
he didn't play y'all a thousand minutes. Bro, I've never
complained about being in the game.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
At least you're gonna get paid for with TIBs. That's
your chance. Man.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
I wish I would have got TIBs when I was
like twenty six, twenty seven. Yeah, well should have been different. Well,
you're gonna play forty minutes a game, you're gonna get
some stats for Yeah. If you look at the tree
of contracts paid from TIBs, Bro, I'll better not see
no smut on TIB's name.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Oh, you can't say nothing wrong TIBs with me. It's
changed my life facts. But I see though. While you know,
some players just can't adapt to that though. Bro, but
y'all was saying you need to switch.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
It up, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (21:55):
So they probably feel like how you know how y'all
felt about it.

Speaker 4 (21:58):
TIBs just needed an offensive coordinator mm hmm. So come
be a defensive quarter for us.

Speaker 1 (22:02):

Speaker 3 (26:00):
He was very early on the Okay see train, very

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Sure, man, he is. He is right to cheer for
this team.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Man, God, that's why I love that joke you just told.
Because we wanted to sign but.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Only to one thing. I got you facts.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
So I all started becoming a fan, Like yeah, when
he was at Kentucky, but when I started seeing him
and what the news would lay. Yeah, I started seeing
him change and ship and I always told him he
had basketball here for real. Of course he played it,
but you know what I mean. Once he got to Okay, see,
I was like, I felt like that was like the
James farnal Leaue the Okay See, Like I felt like
he was gonna change.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
A changing moment in his life.

Speaker 8 (26:37):
Obviously when we first happened the summer where I think
we're at Summer League, and it was like, damn, because
obviously had a good rookie year, you know what I
mean in l A, your agents in LA, you're settled,
you know, you're living there. It's La, it's hot and bam. Okay,
see you obviously had the first sake damn. But then
telling you about twenty nine secs Dare, I was like, shit,
we're both in the okay see the biggest together. You know,

(26:58):
this is this is it, this is this is the
TSN turning point. Your life is going to start to
move because yeah, you're doing well in LA and yeah
Docs playing you and you're starting at one point in
the career with guess so they were really letting you go.
Patrick Beverley bringing up the ball yet Lou Wins bringing
up the ball had Avery Bradley beating none of those
guys point coming out of Kentucky.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
He was a real point guard will on his hand.

Speaker 8 (27:21):
So I don't see how you come from that to
come and bring up the ball, but run to the
corner and shoot three to be at three. Ind no, motherfucker,
Now it's time for you to really be where you are.
You got to okay, see now still playing behind Chris Paul.
Remember Chris Paul was still there. So they played a
staggered one, like a combo one a little bit, and
that if you remember, I don't know if you guys remember,
people still wonder is your real one isn't here too?

Speaker 1 (27:39):
I don't know if you remember that. They were kind
of saying, is this guy too? Is he a combo?

Speaker 8 (27:42):
And people are ready sure because he was, like I said,
kind of playing combo ish in l a second year.
He was a combo behind Chris Ball. But he learned
obviously a lot off of Chris Paull, a lot of shit.
So now Chris wall is gone the second year and
that's when he really see the real shade. But I
knew that no disrespect from day one. Because that's what
he was all his life. Point with the balls and
making decisions, not your sis scoring. Sh'S a that's really

(28:03):
gonna read and react. You know he's not gonna That's
why they say he can't speed him up and stuff
like that. But it's because you read the games who
stold him for. Really, he's really not making up his
mind to do anything. I'm gonna see what the defense does. Yeah,
I mean I'm reading right. I know you know there's
a point that you read and react and put your
crab trip. But you know what I mean, like the
best do that, you know what I'm saying. And a
lot of guys that get sped up because they're making
them their mind saying I'm gonna hear step him from

(28:23):
now like you can't decide to listen, you don't bite
on your fucking and then you say, okay, I'm doing that.
If you ever hear she talking about her him sad
a couple of times, and that's why I know he
really is on what I'm on where it's like you said,
the think that makes me the best is I don't
know what I'm gonna do. You know what that means
that you're just really reacting and I can do anything,
but I'm gonna wait to see what you do.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
And you know what I'm saying, simple, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
I think that's why it makes it so easy for
him to score in the NBA, because he's like the
smoothies all about all the time.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
He's literally the smoothest, smoothest score in the hole.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
You don't even look like he sweat when he out
there hooping, man effortless.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
He's actually too cool for I know that. I know
all about that. He's the coolest mother. I know that.

Speaker 3 (29:04):
Do you think like everybody was like preaching shooting threes
when he first got in the league. I know, I'm
sure people still talk about him shooting threes. Do you
think Chris Paul coming to that team and like him
shooting that mid range like that helped Shay Like said Chris.

Speaker 8 (29:20):
Paul, same thing, I'm talking like the crab drip. But
even though you know you probably touching the free trow
merchant thing, if you remember Chris Ball getting the linkage
you your hand to you, but he more no disrespect
that more than she's not really free trow merchant drawing foul.
He's he's using angles and change your pace from the
upfake you getting there, you're done.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
We all know that what you doing in the air.
But you go and I'm gonna go up and you're
coming down on top of me.

Speaker 8 (29:45):
Am I drawing them fou well, yes, because the fucking
rules of the game have fouls in them, normally drawing
my foles shag rules all the fouls up the game
and we'll play fucking football basketball.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
We didn't do that to it. We just fucking just
don't call my files. I mean, I'm closed line you
and if you close you back on, doctor, you can't
just fallow me, right, So you've got to free your
merchant's actually just changing pace. That changing the pay stop me.
You know you're going to blow with you catch you
in your angle. It's angles, it's changing the pace, changing
the direction.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
First brains, No, I understand it, but I know fans
don't like it.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
Because when you got that much creativity, I can make
you found me at any point you have many point
I can make you faund me. When people got that
much creativity, you got to be to cut you big man.
But you gotta be discip on defense. Yeah, I remember,
I'm doing the same and just want to tell people
all the time. If I'm that guy that's making you file,
sorry sorry.

Speaker 8 (30:40):
Drawing you into those in those into those those spots
where you gotta follow me on defense, I'm not allowing
you to do that, you know what I'm saying. So
it's on you now to stop filing mother, James Harden Merchant,
just play defense the right way and don't follow me.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Bro, that's James Hard, because that's good defense.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
You know what I'm saying that, James Hard.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
Don't you a part of that?

Speaker 3 (30:59):
To yo, gun, I did free throw line a lot.
I did all that stopping behind the screen and letting
people run into me.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Shut your butt out.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
Yeah, ripped through and I did that.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
That's how I guaranteed I was gonna have eight points. Again,
I knew that that's guaranteed money. And when I was
a guarantee, ain't then I wanted to. And then at
the end of the game, you know, if it's a
close game, they found I run to get the ball,
just hold it, give me a man trying to get right.
It's part of the four points at the end of
the game.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
The bonus.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
No, I already know. I think it's genius.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
What you do. I wish more people would do that,
but yeah, they try to take it out the game
for my guy young tanks to do it. But they
took that out the game a little bit. But KD
and them me saw do it to rip through three.

Speaker 8 (31:43):
And like I said, you just can't get caught your
hand and the cookie you all right, let's just say
it is a little bit of a free throw dry
anything once you realized. I told I told my kids
that adapt the way they're calling the game. So if
you like to do you don't do that no more.
You gotta you don't want that man comes down.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
You keep your hands sorry, you keep your hands big, right,
You don't want you to that it's going to be
a foul when it's not a foul, you know what
I'm saying. But if you're discipline yourself.

Speaker 8 (32:03):
To keep you not go down and reach and all
these things, there's no foul call the calling fouls that
aren't there.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
That's what I'm trying to say.

Speaker 8 (32:10):
That's actually Colin falls actually happens to stop fucking following.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
This beach merchant.

Speaker 4 (32:18):
Take that doors, Burt.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
For sure. Outside of you know nephew and your son,
who's some of other players that you like in the NBA.

Speaker 8 (32:26):
Kid Cunningham, m uh, some young guys coming up, Kay,
I got this man to man's my guy?

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Fun with him every shout a, what's that coming on?

Speaker 4 (32:41):
Young killers?

Speaker 1 (32:43):
Dort? Fuck with Dort because the way he just plays
every every clast player last.

Speaker 8 (32:49):
You don't got that. You don't got that motor and
that energy. Like a lot of kids could use that
and just have a career. Yeah they're not, you know
what I mean. Funck with Katie. I like how he
used his whole career, you know what I mean? Yeah,
things obviously, you know different parts of everybody's game that
you know you're picking you like, but you know, I

(33:10):
like those like those are the most guys I think
right now playing I don't. I don't have a deep
bag because of guys like I can pick out of
my head right now because I'm also focused on the
kill and shap.

Speaker 9 (33:20):
Absolutely i can think about my favorite player. So it's
ship So DJ DJ thing Lou Dort's a hack man. No,
Lou Dor is one of the best players in the NBA.
But right now, man, I'm right now, if I wasn't
going to get shot, I show love.

Speaker 4 (33:33):
But I got to hate right now.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
Man, you know what I'm saying, shout out to the thunder,
but lou Dort and carew so because I have it,
and I'm tired of saying if I cannot wait to
the seriously.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
Off I get it, I get it. But those guys
are fucking pestilents in people's life.

Speaker 4 (33:45):
That'd be locking up lets everything.

Speaker 8 (33:48):
I love that ship because I always thought, like it's
so funny. Even when the Killer shad were going up,
it was more big on defense. Anybody that knows younger,
I was always move your feet, it's no hands, so
like it's crazy away there. They're always offense will be good,
but defense is the thing because you know, everybody wants
to play offense.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
Everybody.

Speaker 8 (34:04):
The one thing that people don't do is play defense.
They don't rebound. So I was always being on those things.
Do what people don't want to do. To get what
people don't have, you have to do what people want
to do. So you know you're gonna play defense better
than everybody. Gonna move your feet, and yes we're gonna
do a rebound. Yeah you're gonna rebound the ball.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
See the ball go up.

Speaker 8 (34:20):
You're not gonna look at the ball, look at your
mango like this, when the ball goes up, you don't
look at the find your man box the fuck out
those two things, like I think right now, can get
to the league just after fourteen points a game. It's
not that crazy heart, even though it is. If you
made up his mind to do it, like hol Rodman
and those mothers. You know what I'm saying, it's a
it's an extra career out there. That's like a spot

(34:40):
man made, you know what I mean? Just like defense,
play defense sick as fuck. You can get there because
everybody can hit a fucking jump shot from the corner
of three and so you can always be a three
and D if you just play sick D.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
You know what I saying, yess the fact you get paid.

Speaker 8 (34:55):
Fucking duncan and a man stuff when I get it,
it's fucking sick. But that whole flash is just for
the flash. It's like it's like a life, you know.
I mean, it's like the glitter and the goal. Sometimes
I call that ship the grimy ship, the lunchbox shit
that that ship pays to man.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
We just watched Mitchell Robinson have a research in his
career off rebounder, didn't score the ball, rebound, pass it out,
He's about to get paid a free throw and they
hacking him.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
It don't matter. We send him in the game because
you get extra possessions.

Speaker 8 (35:25):
You know, Yeah, I mean look at him just to
probably like, you know, you're not gonna look at him.
This guy that you gotta find like a diamond in
the rough. But someone that that's his he made that
his niche. And if you do that, I just think
it's so obvious. But I see it. I guess sometimes
I see things that people don't see. I mean, I
just look at it. Like, Bro, if I was gonna
make you right now, I'm a tournament that wicks rebound.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
I can bring it.

Speaker 8 (35:45):
I can teach you everything else after that, you know
what I'm saying, because you will get better at everything else.
But if I make you like fourteen rebounds a game,
I'm gonna you obviously gonna be your free throw.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
She's gonna beet him a fifth fifteen for jump shot.
I'm gonna get you left right finish at the rim.
I'm gonna get you the drop steps turns. You know
what I'm saying. I'm gonna get you that eventually, but
if you can give me fourteen, that's all you can
do right now. I'll work with that. And then what's
his ceiling? Bro that's an offer. I gotta ask you
this question. Obviously, ou Ju Pops. You've seen him growing
up as they progressed that game. At one point, did

(36:15):
I stop playing one on one? For sure? A long time?
At one point, A long time ago.

Speaker 4 (36:22):
At one point he caught you just gotta leave it
a long time ago.

Speaker 8 (36:25):
But I'm gonna lie. I took him on with there
and he had a summer camp and I took him
on the day. I'm not gonna lie, but it was
like a little friendly thing.

Speaker 7 (36:32):
You know.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
There's some footage of that, but he ain't. Nobody gonna
see that, don't see that. But I think I have
the guy tied up right now. That's the title the basement.
Nobody seeing that, but yeah, because I'm gonna tell you
what happens, so I can at least tell you what happened.
It wasn't good, like he made a move and that
kind of fell so that.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
You got you got, you know, that's gotta leave it, right, Lebron,
Delete the kid leave the camera before.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
Like I said, I'm big on defense.

Speaker 8 (36:56):
One time I ripped him and all other type he
made up almost blocked out of it. But see after
that hit, like I was nine shots in a row,
and then after that it was just like, don't know
for me, that was recent. That was recent, but that
doesn't count to because now I'm done. If you go
back like about when they were like thirteen fourteen, that
was the first time he actually went the first time
you bust my ass and said, I said, I'm done.
But fourteen that was again it was endurance because I

(37:20):
can still play. But two minutes wheezing, bro, you know
what I'm saying, a lot of stuff in my chest.

Speaker 4 (37:28):
Did you ever play coaching one or what? Yeah? I
beat him like I was like fourteen, Is that the
last time I played? I quit. I never played him again.
He put me on punishment because I won't play. He
was like, all right, you don't want to play me,
you can't go outside. I don't care for a month,
but I'm not gonna play you no more. He's gonna

(37:53):
post me up.

Speaker 8 (37:54):
That's bang them still. It's it's real, man. I remember
those days, and I used to fling them around. It
was ex changed real quick. I was like, like I said,
that day when he crossfil, I felt I can see
him saying from when I wanted, you know.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
What I mean, giving me back all those days and
I used to bat them up.

Speaker 3 (38:12):
And you know, he the master the captures on I
he gonna frighten it up with a crazy lyric underneath it.

Speaker 4 (38:18):
That's not coming up now for Shure.

Speaker 3 (38:22):
We always talk about them, you know, so our gold
days we grew up playing basketball side and now you
got all these kids with professional trainers and stuff like that,
obviously coming from you, somebody who has put kids in
the NBA.

Speaker 4 (38:33):
How do you feel nowadays?

Speaker 3 (38:34):
You see so many kids who go to like basically
like mechanical workouts. Everybody has a trainer, Like what's missing?
The kids need to go outside and play basketball. They
just need born fives or what do you think the
kids will probably work on to make their games better.

Speaker 4 (38:44):
There's some of the output we're seeing right now.

Speaker 8 (38:46):
There's a couple of things, like back to kind of
what I said with the just finding a niche that
nobody ain't doing, you know what I mean, Like if
you're trying to get really get to make a team,
even I'm talking with them. They started just trying to
make a team. Rebo, the best on our team. The
coach might put you on the team, be the best
defender on that team. Coach might need you. Like a
lot of times, there's been time when you need the
coach needs to win a game, and the coaches on

(39:07):
this political ship and playing in the sun. Now the
games coaches he needs to win, seem Johnny go because
john you can lock down their best scorer. And then
he hasn't play Johnny all gamecause Johnny can't score it.
But now he needs someone to stop this guy. He's
flinging in. John's flinging in Johnny.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 8 (39:19):
So just be those things that people aren't Number one,
that's the first thing. And then a lot of a
lot of the grassroo stuff, the fundament and stuff I
think people are trying to Like I said, they're going
to the gym shooting a bag of threes, trying to dunk.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
And that's not what you work on when you go
to the gym.

Speaker 8 (39:33):
I think you work on like, you know, form, shooting
your handles, footwork, you know, endurance, like a lot of stuff.
It sounds a little corny and cliche. But that's how
we grew up, That's how our stuff was, so I
think it just works. That's why Shae they killed their
like throwbacks. If people say that, and I think they are.
The way they play, it's not truly good. Yeah, you
can dunk over, you can know, but you probably won't
see like an at Man Highland with shit. You're probably

(39:53):
see Shae dunk over four man, which he probably has
it after this is in two you know what I'm saying.
But it's a different style of game, right, So you'll
see one dunk every six months to every six months,
but you're gonna see it like fucking every game up
and under, you know what I mean. Below the rim shit,
that's I think that's just all school I'm saying. And
that's the difference in the in the fundamental training of
the game now, which is why you see a lot

(40:15):
of the Europeans and the first team All NBA last
two years just do the math. It's not a lot
of Americans don't expected to the Americans, but I think
the game is getting a little bit fundamentally away from it.
It's more bigger, faster, stronger. It's no fuck that go
back to skill and fundamental training. That's what the guys
in Europe and France and all those are in Canada
because we're humbled with this. We're happy to just be

(40:35):
in the room with the NBA guys, a lot of
a lot of the American side. Now it's like we're
here and we're all a little bit entitled to be here,
and it's our game and you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (40:43):
So we're already in the room and.

Speaker 8 (40:46):
No, you gott to fucking do more right now because
the game is catching up together. That's just facts. Can
be mad at me, You're just just do the facts.
It's just do the math and see if I'm wrong.

Speaker 4 (40:55):
Most emple, we talk about all the kids and you
got and you got what.

Speaker 8 (41:00):
Was it next to friends? When yah killer and you
got shaded? Careful guys, I don't know, yeah, way, I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (41:09):
If you guys want to see some twenty twenty who
Canada is gonna be ready in twenty twenty?

Speaker 4 (41:13):
Do you think you're gonna be Do you think it'll
beat the US?

Speaker 1 (41:15):
Well, I say we're ready to go. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (41:18):
I gotta went to it.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
I got, yeah, I got Jamal They got new it's
gonna be different from twenty I got wi yeah right now,
but you gotta before just know we're coming, you know
what I mean. So we didn't metal, we didn't meddle
this one. Now, okay, I'll say up front for sure
we're meddling.

Speaker 3 (41:36):
Yeah, okay, yeah, you met your guard playing crazy good guards.

Speaker 8 (41:43):
Come down to our big Zach exactly develops.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
I think you'll develop then, you guys.

Speaker 4 (41:48):
It's Christmas.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
Zach ain't gonna be able to come out the game.

Speaker 6 (41:51):
Pops teams going to's go.

Speaker 4 (42:04):
We gotta do some a little bit of wish how
we do this ppect.

Speaker 1 (42:08):
He talked into.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
But Toronto, for sure is on the map. I think
my first respect to Toronto. I mean, no disrespecting nobody,
but I think Wiggins, Andrew Wiggins. I was like, damn,
he was special.

Speaker 3 (42:20):
He was the first person he's not enough, first one
that made it to the pros. That was real, Like
how how ranked in Canada? Yeahsh you mean the ranking?
And yeah, like round time like a buzz for sure,
for sure he was another one.

Speaker 1 (42:35):
I'm talking like protected from He was about sixteen seventy
to be the number one pick and he actually ended
up being the number. Yeah, so you can see that
for sure. That's like that's my I mean, big up
the t do Yeah, niggas.

Speaker 2 (42:50):
I want to know about the music culture out there
in Canada, man, what what's your rocket to? Man clubs
or just barbecues anything.

Speaker 1 (42:58):
It's kind of mixed up. It's all the cultural you know.
Me personally, I deal with my like I like my rap,
you know from back in the day, my reggae stuff
like that. So I'm mixed on both side. But you
can get whatever you want.

Speaker 8 (43:08):
But it's a lot of like New York, like how
New York would be or you know, but we're a
little bit more Caribbean oriented to We got the Jamaicans
and the Antigues and the the daddy is.

Speaker 1 (43:18):
And the guy and he's we got the you know
what I mean?

Speaker 8 (43:20):
Because like I said, you guys might be born over
here and your grandmother, your grandfather will probably be born
over here in America too. You'll never find a black
guy that tells you his grandmother was born in Canada.
Be sawing black guys Canada. His mother was born in
some of his grandparents are born in some Caribbean you
know what I'm saying, oh yeah, the second fourth generation
Canadian black people.

Speaker 1 (43:40):
You know what I'm saying. But you guys got fourth, fifth,
sixth generation black people over here. You know what I'm saying.
It's in the difference. That's what we have.

Speaker 8 (43:46):
That little Caribbean mixed people say, I talk like this,
I talked. I just talked like we talked. It's a
Canadian things, man. Yeah, gotcha done.

Speaker 2 (43:56):
So we're trying to I have never been over there.
I'm trying to get over there, and I want to
make sure i'm season.

Speaker 1 (44:02):
You can roll with me, all right, Okay, I like
this link up. I like this link up more than
good Man stopped. Okay, cool, cool.

Speaker 3 (44:10):
Yeah, I've been to Canada quite a few times. One
of my favorite cities.

Speaker 1 (44:16):
I know, I know, you know trying to.

Speaker 4 (44:19):
You know, Toronto is a great city city.

Speaker 3 (44:23):
Man.

Speaker 1 (44:24):
That's what's up. So we already up to one man,
What what do you think we need to do to
finish the series out?

Speaker 4 (44:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (44:30):
That's about like I said, man, everybody do their job.
It's not even as rocket sized. Okay, don't do your job,
and what is it?

Speaker 1 (44:38):
Let's do what you normally do, bro, I might actually
do anything more, and I think out rade it Now
what scares you about the patients though? That you can't
play around with them?

Speaker 8 (44:47):
You can't just that you know you'll get up by
fifteen and they're gonna come back, but you always if
a step in their neck, you get the nudgers. Literally
that the hold of there should winkle out and try
to do something heroic. Ship, that's not we're on. So
last game we did it okay, but I didn't like
how last game that we won the first half, we
kind of didn't win the second. We were off like
nineteen or twenty after seventeen. That means we didn't win

(45:10):
second half. So I'm trying to win every quarter.

Speaker 3 (45:12):
That's my What did you How did you feel after
the game one? Because I mean that twenty point it
was up twenty and for YSA hit that shot. Watching
on TV like everyone, I don't drinking about my.

Speaker 1 (45:22):
Stomach and you know I can see me.

Speaker 5 (45:28):
Drink.

Speaker 1 (45:29):
My wife wanted you're feeling like twenty we probably yeah, yeah, yeah,
talking ship.

Speaker 3 (45:44):
I just know like looking at that because we all
was watching it like we were all at the crib,
all right, twenty point win for the okay, see we
ain't gonna pie tonight.

Speaker 4 (45:53):
He hit the shot. We all call each other like, Yo,
we gotta go downtown.

Speaker 1 (45:56):
He said, Yeah, I feel that percent and agree with
that man, Like I said, man, first friendly competition. But
if it wasn't like, if it wasn't.

Speaker 8 (46:05):
Like that, like even after we lost, I walked to
remember the arena's right there, I'm saying, in the hotel
right walk our first place and I see this aliburn So.

Speaker 1 (46:12):
Yeah, I'm like, bro, yeah, we're good many lass, but
guess what, you know the camera's I can't even move
my malt right. You know we got this man, if
you and I when we went together, Yeah, you know

(46:33):
what I'm saying because it's real facts, man, But we
got to put on this. This is a composition. But
like I swear, I swear to God, if we lose
what we want, I'm gonna be happy. I'm gonna be
happy for them, be happy for the loser. No good for.

Speaker 3 (46:47):
Another tough question, How did you feel last year? Because
we all feel like I should have got the VP
last year? Which your reaction like last year when we
got the results.

Speaker 1 (46:56):
Yeah, I was like number one.

Speaker 8 (46:58):
I kind of knew what you can tell by the way,
the connotation is going on throughout the year, and then
you know, because you know, you know.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
To kind of know if you know Ball, who they're
gonna give it to. So I was like, oh my god,
they didn't give it to him, and you got robbed
because I kind of kne who they're gonna give it to.
Number one.

Speaker 8 (47:12):
Number two, when you do things every day, if you
wake up and brush your teeth every day and fold
your clothes, if you really do it every day, and
someone says to you, guess what we're.

Speaker 1 (47:21):
Giving all awards? Wake up and brush your teeth every day,
and say, oh fuck, okay, I hope I'll get it,
but they're really giving them out.

Speaker 8 (47:27):
Well, then I guess we're gonna get it next year.
But we're gonna get it tomorrow because you really do this.
I'm not trying to say she does this.

Speaker 1 (47:33):
Yes, it was. It was a little bit of a
let down. He didn't get it.

Speaker 8 (47:36):
We didn't think where they get it because I knew
the fucking connotation and the politics of this ship. But
then you think about it, the fuck I can do
this next year. I could do it the year after that,
and I can do that because I really do this.
Some guys, like you know, some guys have a good
year and it's like, fuck man, that's his greatest year.
I don't think this guys ever going to fucking do
that again. And it's true sometimes I got that peak
here and they never. But I'm telling Shay, motherfucker, I

(47:57):
need thirty four next year. You're shooting like what thirty seven,
thirty six PM three? I need you to shoot forty two.
So that means you got to get in the gym somewhere,
like there's always somewhere. You're doing great is the MVP.
I'm talking you right, do better about the fucking you
know what I'm saying. So he's gonna go in the
gym this summer and then come back to shoot like
thirty nine. He always gives me a little bit, Just
give me what I want. Always give me a little bit.

Speaker 1 (48:15):
He's gonna give me like a thirty nine forty and
then two years and he's gonna be forty two. Is
fuck up Jordan's umies and he chas gonna give you
like thirty six a game one day. And peoplen understand
what I'm saying. I'm in trying. I'm telling people could do.
I look like I'm a mad man, like relax, some's
the m VP. This is obviously before he's MVP. But
I've been doing this every year, saying like twenty four
four to five a game with them, you know from
Canada's supposed to be great. We're happy to be in
the NBA. I don't give a fuck about that. No

(48:36):
better right right? Our whole model might be better every day.
It doesn't have to be a large increment. It could
be a small, little increment.

Speaker 8 (48:43):
Just get better if that's what I have to do
the shade now because it's always harder now because he's
the m v P.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
So how do you motivate him? How do you tell
him that he's got to get better? How do you like?

Speaker 8 (48:52):
Daddy your nuts? But he's been I've been doing this
in all my life, so he's that. He already knows
I'm nuts.

Speaker 1 (48:57):
You know. Here he goes again.

Speaker 8 (48:59):
He's gonna see tell me to do better three people
and tell me that I should add fifty. Yes, motherfucker,
you had forty two in the first half. You start
fucking fifty you you know what I'm saying? A much
games like he does stuff like that, you know what
I'm saying. I'm like, yeah, you should ad sixty, you
know what I'm saying. But you always have to give
him that to make him feel like saying. Sometimes they say, oh,
that's this guy. You can't please this guy. I'm okay
with that, right, because when you reach the moon and

(49:19):
all that stuff, you're falling a little bit lower.

Speaker 1 (49:20):
You're still on top of everybody, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 8 (49:22):
But you have to push guys like that because he's
that talented, is that blessed, he's that intelligent, He's the
right guy for the job to push.

Speaker 1 (49:29):
You can actually do it.

Speaker 8 (49:30):
If you don't, they say, god going, it gives you
what you can handle, the type of thing. Yeah, I'm
not giving that kid more than you can handle.

Speaker 1 (49:35):
People.

Speaker 8 (49:36):
When I told me that when I was younger and
I got that one. You think you're pushing them too hard,
you know what I mean? No, No, if you hear
these kids talk one away in the room by themselves,
they're very very smart nine years old talking about gall
and this and that and cloth.

Speaker 1 (49:46):
They guys are sharp, you know what I'm saying. So
you know they know things. So you got to push
them like man, and talk to them and deal with them. No,
that's real.

Speaker 4 (49:53):
We was worried about it this year, you know what
I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (49:54):
Obviously going crazy, hell of a year and we start
hitting the joking there and the light in the season.

Speaker 4 (49:58):
It's like his best satistical season. What ever?

Speaker 3 (50:00):
And me and be here was just like, hey, man,
ain't nothing more he can do? Man, last year, y'all
snubbed me. He came back better this year, team set
the league and wins.

Speaker 4 (50:08):
What more can he do?

Speaker 3 (50:09):
So I'm happy he got his Just do I know
he's gonna keep accomplishing things, but he definitely deserve the
MVP this ship.

Speaker 1 (50:14):
I agree, And like I said, it's just something that
we do consistently. This whole thing is consistency.

Speaker 8 (50:20):
I think in life, like at your job, whatever you
guys do every day, basketball, whatever you do to be
good at something, you don't really call yourself good until
you can do it consistently. If you have the great games,
when I'm saying something, but you have a bad thing
the next time, I ain't a good way of you're
not really good.

Speaker 1 (50:32):
You're inconsistent. Mother, You know what I'm saying. Your consistency
is what we rate.

Speaker 8 (50:36):
It could be the best rapper Drake from Canada hell
shout out Dake Block Block Obviously, obviously he's the best rapper.

Speaker 1 (50:44):
Why though he keeps putting them out. You guys can
debate that, but who does it as often? Who does
so consistently? So consistency is a serious fucking thing. Once
that goes back to Shade, Okay, getting snubbed this. If
they Snubbshade this year, what would that mean in our life?
It'd be disappoint any That means we're not gonna do
thirty three at night, but we're gonna do it something
very similar next year, because we're justice what we do.

(51:06):
You know what I'm saying, like, who's not picking?

Speaker 8 (51:08):
It's not because it's my son, But if she wasn't
my son, I said his kid's popular average thirty one
point five next year six assists, seven three steel.

Speaker 1 (51:15):
It's what he does by this At this point, you know.

Speaker 8 (51:18):
What I'm saying, I'm almost looking at like, Okay, one
of these I'm gonna MVP. You know, but they won't
give it to you every year, So you stop me.
This year gives you next year?

Speaker 1 (51:27):
What does it?

Speaker 2 (51:27):
Fucking just gonna keep doing what I do and control
I can control. Yeah, I was just gonna be shiitted
this year, though, I ain't gonna lie. Yeah, he was
going crazy, bro. He was talking about like man, he
could just get thirty every night, like the Joker had
a trouble double.

Speaker 1 (51:44):
It was really on the breaks, bro, because Joker is
doing I tell people it's crazy.

Speaker 4 (51:49):
He was crazy.

Speaker 1 (51:50):
Never have downplay with Jokers. We're not gonna see that again.

Speaker 4 (51:53):
Right.

Speaker 8 (51:54):
Watch this one now, guys, watch this one. When do
we get to take the criteria? When do we ever
gotten to take the critera of wins out of the
MVP Award. We've never done that. We've never done that.
I'm a baller, guys. You guys can't do that to me.
We've never took the crieter of wins. And you cannot
be nineteen or twenty fucking wins behind the fucking Shade.

Speaker 1 (52:12):
You win the MVP twenty wins, it still.

Speaker 4 (52:14):
Wins, has it?

Speaker 1 (52:15):
He had a great year? Yeah, Shaye had a great year.
Watch this.

Speaker 8 (52:18):
Know you want to say his air is a little
bit greater than Shade because all these crazy things.

Speaker 1 (52:22):
Shades year is so great. Ye. Now you gotta go
to wins. Now, you gotta go to wins. That's what.
That's what. You gotta give it to them.

Speaker 8 (52:28):
That's my can say a lot of other stuff too,
there's other other elements, but wins is too much of
a big critis and they've never given it out without
saying fucking wins. The wins has never been the wins
is a major factor.

Speaker 1 (52:39):
I So you take that out now. Yeah, you might say, okay,
here fifty to fifty.

Speaker 8 (52:44):
No you add wins. It's like seventy five twenty five,
just like what it was. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (52:48):
Yeah, I don't think it's that close now obviously, you
know you probably be fucking seventy eighteen years? Is it?
Are we trying to win?

Speaker 3 (52:57):
You think.

Speaker 4 (53:00):
To this game is to win?

Speaker 1 (53:02):
Okay, well I don't want you know, my teams on
m V pop we can't win. I want to win win,
all right, We're gonna win tonight.

Speaker 4 (53:12):
After Well, I'm trying to my conference. Man, come on,
man said he said, we three a little back already.
We ain't playing.

Speaker 3 (53:32):
Up the.

Speaker 4 (53:34):
Ones crazy, oh man?

Speaker 3 (53:37):
Obviously you know what I'm saying, Toronto Obias, what was
the energy like? You know what I'm saying, you know,
I'm said the Kendrick situation. Man, I was in Philly saying,
be in a grounsey rod with that.

Speaker 1 (53:45):
We ain't worried about up and all about it.

Speaker 4 (53:51):
I like that, you know question we do our tam Man.

Speaker 1 (53:54):
Yeah about for sure, that's.

Speaker 3 (53:57):
Hilarrius before we got in here. Man, please tell the
people about to know Flukes organization. Man, Oh for sure,
for sure. No Flukes is a movement.

Speaker 8 (54:04):
No Flukes means never opting for less, unified knowledge, equal success.
That's a foundation I have back in Toronto where we
help at risk youths getting what they need to survive
in life, basketball skills, opportunities.

Speaker 1 (54:17):
We have a we have a league that we take
it After Hours Ball we call it now where we
take kids from the hood at eight o'clock at night,
bring them back at one o'clock the night they play
basketball in the league.

Speaker 8 (54:28):
The league is like almost like a how you do
have a men's day. So we keep scoring like the
NBA leading score, leading assist. This that at the end
of every week we get the prizes for whatever accomplisention
they make and we check our retention rate to see
who's getting better. Who's getting worse, and we just it's
just a fun little safe place. Call it like a
safe place for these kids at nighttime. But that's just
