Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, so we are back on the way concept
presented by the Ring Magazine and folks, we are just
days away from the rematch Chris you Bank Junior, Connor Ben.
You guys can catch the live watch party here. Make
sure you guys buy that fight on the zone. But
we're watching it together. It's a watch party this Saturday.
(00:20):
We're live for this fight and we're staying live all
the way through UFC three twenty two, full day of fighting,
and it's brought to you by the Ring Magazine.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
I cannot wait for this fight.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
The first one was an absolute banger about seven months ago,
and today we had the final press conference, and this
one was extra sweet because not only did we get
Chris u Bang Junior and Connor Benn, but we got
Nigel Benn, the Dark Destroyer, and we had simply the best.
Chris you Bank Senior showed up and I have a
(00:52):
feeling that alone is going to take this fight over
the top. This thing is a spectacle. We know what
we're getting with this. Is it world championship level. No,
does it make sense for two guys to be fighting
in weight classes they probably shouldn't.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Know, but who gives a shit?
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Because This fight is entertaining and boxing needs more of this.
Belts are not entertaining fights that people want to watch.
Let's get into it, and I'm gonna tell you guys
why I think Chris Eubank Junior has fully won the
mind games over Connor Ben. It's not even a question
to me anymore. Now how much will it relate in
the fight. I don't have those answers, but it's time
(01:25):
for the breakdown, so let's go.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
He is Connor the destroyer.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Okay, fitcheck, fitcheck?
Speaker 1 (01:39):
He looks like a Hell's angel want to be with
the rhyin stone jacket and the leather on top of it. Connor,
don't hurt me your fits, dope. I'm just saying, that's
a lot of leather. You understand that's a lot of leather.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
Chris you Bank?
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Did I just hear Michael Buffer say Chris you bankages
to be fair to him. It's a hard introduction, but
because clearly Senior wanted to be walked out with Junior,
so you kind of have to announce him both at once,
and he got a little confused on who he was announced,
and so he went to say chrisy Bank Junior and
then transitioned it to Senior in the middle. Thus, Chris
(02:15):
you Bankages.
Speaker 5 (02:16):
Coming in with his son with a record consisting of thirty.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Played the music too early, because how are you supposed
to announce him? They both were walking at the same time.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Chris next, Jen you Bank Junior.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
There we go, of course, simply the best, of course,
just playing. Look at senior.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Junior looks like a varsity athlete. That also he looks
like he's in high school musical. I'm not gonna lie
with that. With that letterman jacket on, he's like I
played basketball and sing look at the rhinestone.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
But Senior just or a so Eddie hun, Eddie, here
we go again.
Speaker 5 (02:52):
You say you've been very impressed with your man, Connor Ben,
yourself and Chris hu Banks Senior. I've had a little
bit of back and forth this week. What does it
mean to you to Connor to be in this position
once again?
Speaker 1 (03:03):
All right, So there's been some back and forth this
week over the appearance of Senior in the first fight
and why it was done. There's been rumors and really
just accusations across the board from Eddie Hearn, from Nigel Ben,
from Connor Ben and pretty much everybody else that accuses
Senior of being paid to be at the first fight.
Chris Ubank Senior has denied all of that talk, saying, no,
(03:24):
I have not been paid to come and support my
son in the first fight. When that questions asked Eddie
before he even answers, or I don't know if he's
going to be able to answer. This is kind of
what the back and forth stems from.
Speaker 6 (03:33):
And the first thing he said to me was, is
there an appearance fee?
Speaker 7 (03:37):
You can't find me?
Speaker 6 (03:38):
And I just think about the time when my dad
had his sixtieth birthday party and I wanted to bring
everybody together that really meant something to him, all the
special people in his life. So I made the call
to Senior and the first thing he said to me
was is there an appearance fee? And I actually could
not believe what I heard and I will never ever
(04:00):
forget him saying those words. And when I said no,
he said, will he pay for my driver instead? And
I did pay for the driver, and I gave him
three hundred quid outside the gates of Mascals for his
driver to drive him from Brighton. And I thought, I'll
never forget that I'll never ever forget. And I don't
like the guy. And I told my dad all along,
I don't like this guy. And my dad has always
(04:20):
said to me that he's my man. You Bank. No,
I won't have a bad word said about You Bank,
even when I told my dad he asked for an
appearance fee to come, so you still don't. I don't
like him because I listened to those interviews and I
think sometimes it borders along, you know, of a sort
of narcissistical delusion and then just pure life.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
That's not necessarily in reference to this fight or the
first fight in an appearance fee for that, but there's
been a lot of that going out. And I guess
Eddie's like entire kind of idea behind You Bank in
this hole.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Is he going to short for a son? Isn't he?
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Why did he show up the first time he's calling
on the first time he heard about an appearance fee
for You Bank Senior? And he literally doesn't like I mean,
there's bad blood, even though You Bank Senior fought under
his dad under Barry. So very interesting, but yeah, that
seems that he would. A lot of the commotion is about.
Speaker 7 (05:08):
Wow, he's finally larned. He's finally lond Guys, I don't
speak during the press conference.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
You all right, we're gonna I think we're gonna have
to mute this because of the music playing.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
But Eddie's taking a page out of love actually here,
and he's gonna go with the Q.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Cards in this case Matt Room branded. Of course, the
entire build up this is actually a pretty funny move.
The entire build up of the first and second fight
has been you Bank Junior just silencing Eddie and quite frankly,
sticking it on Eddie like no fither no, like no
fighter ever has right.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
He's called him a scumbag.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
He's alluded to and said the accusation that Eddie and
Mattroom stopped his ambulance from leaving the first fight, which
I don't think is true, that it was Eddie that
did that. He did post video that showed his ambulance
was having trouble leaving the event after the fight. But
this just it's personal at this point, and Eddie, he's
tried to talk over him, he's tried to go back.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
And forth with him. This is what he's resorted to.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
I think it's a decent play this is not bad,
but I have to mute it because steles. I know
it upsets Chris when I speak, so I've taken a
new him from thank you to his excellency for continued support. Okay,
all right, last April we witnessed a British classic. Both
men gave us a fight we will never forget. But
for now, let's just.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Say as long as he's just.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
Because it's fight week and we always tell the truth.
To me, Connor Benn is perfect. He's ready for the
performance of his career, so get ready for another epic war.
Speaker 7 (06:35):
He's embarrassing, man, this guy's really doing. This is supposed
to be the best promoter in the wall, and the
guy's got clipboards up on the stage smiling like an
idiot because he's too scared to talk at a press conference.
That is uh wow.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Not bad, not bad. That might be the first time
I've ever heard Chris, you Bank Junior get a little
rat by Eddie Hearn. I'm not saying it was like
anything consequential, but you hear the words that you Bank
Junior says at the end. There this entire like I said,
the entire thing has been you know, Eddie you can
only speak when I allow you to. You're not gonna
speak when I'm on stage. So Eddie plays into it.
(07:13):
You're right, I'm not gonna speak. I'm gonna hold up
que cards and you Bank Junior says, Wow, this is
supposed to be the best promoter in the world and
he's scared to talk on stage.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
He wanted Eddie to talk.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
You wanted Eddie to talk so that he could get
the satisfaction of telling Eddie to stop talking.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
I can't lie.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
I know y'all are going to say I'm gargling or whatever,
but that's a win to Eddie for me. That's the
one thing that Eddie really could have done to bypass
the back and forth with you Bank that we've seen
like four times now.
Speaker 5 (07:38):
Then, Chris, when you think back to all these years
ago when you decided to venture into the world of boxing,
because if your dad could, then why couldn't you? And
you sit here now back to back stadium headliners, the
Eyes of the World on Chris, you Bank Junior once again,
with your father sat beside you at that time. Did
you have any idea, Chris, of what you were signing
up for when you sit here on an occasion like
(07:59):
this once again.
Speaker 7 (08:00):
I had no idea that I will be sitting in
front of you guys today with this man by my side.
I found out a couple of hours ago, so I'm
just as shocked as you guys are. I still don't
know what he might say, what he might do. I'm
sure it's going to be interesting regardless.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Question for the comment section, Do you guys buy this
idea that both times now Chris you Bank Junior has
not known if his dad is going to take part
in any sort of way. I kind of do buy
it because of the way Chris Senior moves and now
everything is a bit unpredictable. But this time around he's
definitely been more involved. I mean, especially on like the
interview side. He's been with talkSPORT doing his thing. He's
now obviously at the press conference. But Junior is saying
(08:41):
he had no idea till a couple of hours before
that Chris you Bank Senior would even be there. And
I thought they had had a better you know, they
were starting to work on their relationship stuff like that.
I don't know, maybe I'm reading too deep into it.
I believe in when he says it, but it's just
like hard to believe in general, after they reconciled after
the first fight for them to still kind of not
have an open line of communication.
Speaker 7 (09:01):
All jokes aside, there is something I need to address
first and foremost Eddie Hern Connor Ben, Nigel Ben. Over
the last few months, I've been making accusations and claims
that my father was paid to come to the fight
(09:24):
in April, just bare face lies, and anyone with a
brain knows that that's not true. But I still have
to address it because it's extremely disrespectful to my father
and myself, and I also think it's pretty disrespectful to
the Saudis for them to imply that they would pay
my father to do that. So yeah, I'm just getting
(09:47):
it out into the open, saying for once and for
all that that never happened and for these men to
stop lying to the public.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
Okay, fair Now, on its face, I wouldn't say that's
like an inherently bad thing for the Ring magazine or
whoever put on this event riodd season to pay for
Nigel or Chris Youbank Senior to come to the fights
like as an appearance fee.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Because they are legends and why not.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
But The narrative around Senior being paid is if to
say he would not have been there had he not
gotten paid. That's kind of what the framing of that
has been since the first fight, and I feel fair
play for Chris Junior addressing it there. They've consistently said
that Senior didn't get paid, like he's there for his son,
and the messaging of it is probably the most disrespectful part,
like he didn't care enough about you until money was involved.
(10:33):
So fair I think that's that's a great way to
address the whole thing and squash it right there.
Speaker 5 (10:38):
Connor, welcome, here we go, not long to go now
A similar questions to what I just asked Chris.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
You ventured into this world.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
Because you said you chose to, not because you had
so You've had your highs and lows in the sport
of boxing, But even from the connabnd of April, what
have you learned about yourself of why this world is
a world for connabn.
Speaker 8 (10:57):
Yeah, I mean listen, when we when I first turned
prout this envision being here, of course, especially not sitting
next to Chris and fighting Chris. You know, we're both
at different stages of our career. When we first turnover,
well when our first turnover anyway, you know, for us
to be sitting here, it's legacy and a generational I
didn't I didn't choose this life. It's sort of just
(11:18):
fell into place, and and here I am the fire
I am. I love to fight and it's what I do.
My dad's got eight kids, and I'm the one that's
that chose to.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
Live this life.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
Happy to see Christian Banks Senior here to call very.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
Very yeah, Yeah, it's good to have him here.
Speaker 8 (11:33):
I mean, sitting at the top table, having my dad
here and Senior here. It's always meant to be. It
was meant to be first time round. We are where
we are because of our dads. Yes, we had to
work hard, but credit to Senior and mild Man that
let me and Junior can sit here and carry this on.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Like the respect there from from Connor Ben, I think
that that's the only way to really approach it. And
he's always it feels like he's always held respect for
Chris Senior, even Connor Ben, which I've said in previous videos.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
He almost feels like.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
He wants the agile or at least a bit of
the respect from not only senior, but Junior sometimes, I think,
and this is where this mind game stuff comes into play.
I think Connor Benn wants Junior not maybe not to
like him, but to respect him and to earn his respect,
sometimes more, far more than Junior cares about anything Connor
Ben's saying. I think that's part of the reason you
(12:20):
have this emotional outburst kind of stuff in the fight
from Connor Benn, like he needs to prove himself to
Junior and maybe too his dad and two Senior. I
hope that doesn't happened this time around, but I definitely
felt that in the lead up to the first one,
and I felt a little bit in the lead up
this time where he's like trying to remain composed to
show Chris you Bank Junior how composed he can remain.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
He can't just be himself.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Maybe I'm again looking too deep into it, but I
felt like that the whole time leading up. That felt
genuine from Connor Benn. That felt like genuine respect. I'm
here to do a job. Let's go do it for legacy,
for our dads, for myself.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
Firstly to you, Chris hu Banks Senior.
Speaker 5 (12:56):
It was wonderful when we saw you at the Tottenham
Hotspurs Stadium in eight Pril. But why was it important
for you to be with your son here at today's
press conference in the build up to his big rematch
on Saturday night.
Speaker 7 (13:10):
I'm here to support again.
Speaker 9 (13:19):
He's doing the weight so I'm here to support so
just in case there are those who want to bark,
well scold him. So I guess I'm here to actually
protect him.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
I should say, I just dude, he's got aura. He
has got such crazy aura. I don't know what it is.
It's the eloquence. It's the act of sophistication. And I'm
not saying that that Senior is not sophisticated. I like
that he wants to show himself to be either you know,
well spoken or well read, or he wants to be
better educated.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
And all that's great.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
I just love it because it feels like I'm watching
a movie, like I am watching a monologue in a movie, and.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
I say that a lot.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
I feel like we say that a lot in combat sports.
But Senior, when he gets a microphone in front of him,
it always feels like it. Whether it's the poetry or
anything else, you're kind of waiting on the edge of
your seat to see what he'll say.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
I love it in regards to.
Speaker 9 (14:20):
The love of the son. If a father takes money,
nothing wrong with that. But if there's a father who
doesn't take money and has taken no money, none, then
that is to be studied.
Speaker 7 (14:44):
Study that.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
The camp of a not in godlocks nothing.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
I love it. I love it.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
And he's talking about the you know, getting paid to
be there for junior thing again and he's now again
denying it.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
And you heard what he said.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
He said, you know, it's not a big deal for
father does take money, but I didn't do that, and
they're lying essentially, is kind of what he's saying. But
then he breaks into full Jamaica and I love it.
Like when he gets fucking it's like a tone switch.
He goes from very eloquent to very serious like that,
and I love it.
Speaker 10 (15:15):
Man.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
It shows you that at one point in time, Yeah,
there was an absolute.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Monster in there, man.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
And he's he's you know, he's keeping him in there,
and he's putting the suit on and he's very eloquent,
well spoken, peaceful, but don't play around and act like
he's not still that guy.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
That dog underneath all that you.
Speaker 9 (15:31):
Can't pay me anything. I'm here for heart love. Remember
what I've lived by right away through my career and
what's made me dumb and call them what has made
me done is that I've lived with and behaved with patience, kindness.
(15:52):
I've never envied. I don't boost, I'm not proud, I'm
not rude, I'm not self seeking.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
I'm not easily angered.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Majel Oh taking a shot at Nigel. You have to
know there's still some deep seated roots there between both
of them.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
And again, Nigel apparently was one of the people.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Accusing Senior of taking money to be there, so obviously
Senior feels offended by that.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
He's taken some shots. I like it.
Speaker 9 (16:20):
I'm gonna keep no record of wrongs. That's why I
continuously win, because I live by the statutes of the spirit.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
Nigel's already fed up, like he's like breathing heavy into
the mic. But you know what, I'm gonna let this play.
But this, I know that Senior is trying to address
it in the way he addresses it. But you're talking
about mind games with Junior and Connor Benn.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
This could also be a.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Little mind games from Senior to Nigel Ben like, I'm
gonna put out all this eloquence and I'm gonna speak
and go on these monologuess.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
You're just gonna have to sit there and listen to me.
Speaker 9 (16:52):
The consciousness of the Christ. So whoever told Nigel that
I was paid whatever sum of money they.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
Lied to you.
Speaker 9 (17:09):
And in you actually spouting what they've told you makes
you a liar. So expose who told you that lie
in order to actually clean your name. Otherwise, otherwise, who
in the future is going to believe you on anything
you say.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
I've always walked the straight line.
Speaker 9 (17:33):
Tell him I fought the good fight. I finished the race,
I kept the faith. Now there is in store for
me the right.
Speaker 8 (17:48):
Yo.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
Nigel's so pissed and he's like, can I talk? When
do I get to talk?
Speaker 1 (17:53):
He's suggesting himself in his seat like this dude, won't
shut up.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
Man, it's a.
Speaker 9 (17:57):
Mess, and the Lord, the Righteous Judge will award to
me on that day. It's that crown of righteousness.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Mid Soliloquyd you here, Nigel, Wow, Wow, wow, He's like,
shut up, and not only for.
Speaker 9 (18:20):
Me, but also to all who have longed for his appearance.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
I speak, and I woke truth, nothing.
Speaker 9 (18:31):
But that's the only way you become a true entertainer
that lasts. Yeah, so to that, I will say, Rastafari.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Are fucking legend.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Dude, Rastafari, Oh my goodness, he's the man.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
He's the He's the dude. He's the best. Ever. When
it comes to this like move portrayal of I don't
even know what.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
There's nothing to describe him. There's no one like him
that's awesome these years.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
How does it make you feel when you're still sat
across from your biggest rival, Chris you Banks Senor.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
How do I feel.
Speaker 10 (19:17):
Running down in the back.
Speaker 9 (19:18):
Nothing? Absolutely, it's not even about me.
Speaker 10 (19:21):
He's about me sign it and Chris Junior.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
So I'm not even.
Speaker 10 (19:24):
Really panettation to what he says. It's oh god, god,
you goop to me. It's just going over me head.
I'm not even really just taking it all on board,
not at all. If we're here to talk about a fight,
that's what I'm here to talk about, my son fighting.
Nothing else, not about you know, what he's done or
what you ain't done, doesn't bother me.
Speaker 7 (19:43):
Do not spread about me?
Speaker 3 (19:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (19:45):
Well, you know, if you if you should just face
off yeah, I don't mind having a face off of
him all day long, mate, I love it all day
long with him.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
This is why you love this rivalry and these two
families you have like the very well put together, well speaking,
very articulate, uh you know, mental warfare and perfectly chosen
words on the side of the U banks And right now,
that's the people side, that's the side that people are behind,
(20:16):
because yes, Senior is an entertainer to high heaven. He
is a guy that will just put words together that
may not make any fucking sense, but it sounds dope
and he believes it and you love it. And then
on the other side you got Nigel Ben who's like, yeah, dude,
we can scrap right now, what's up? Like has always
been that dude, always ready to go, and he's found
Christ and he's accepted it into his heart. But he's
(20:37):
still again under all that, we can still go again.
I'll face off with him right now.
Speaker 10 (20:42):
But but the difference it is not about us. We've
we've had a path. If it's me about Junior and
Connor and the fight that's aught I want to talk about,
don't want to talk about anything else.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
We know what's what we know what's truth, we know
what life is.
Speaker 10 (20:58):
But the difference is I'm here to support my son
and I watched my son train hard. In the third fight,
everyone was saying.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
William Skull, William Skull and Marbayer, what happens in Marbaya,
I'm talent.
Speaker 10 (21:11):
What a great fight. Yeah it was a great fight,
but you know what, Connor was frowning punches from South Africa,
Germany all over the place that weren't no boxing. It's
a good fight, but it wasn't.
Speaker 7 (21:22):
It wasn't boxing.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
It wasn't what we know Connor can do.
Speaker 10 (21:25):
And I've seen what Connor can do and now if
visit to his game plan, he would.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
Have victory early doors. And I believe that.
Speaker 10 (21:34):
I've been watching him SPA And what's really good about
this fight for me is Connor's mindset. That's the most
important thing, because he's always been an unbelievable trainer.
Speaker 3 (21:47):
Me as a world champion.
Speaker 10 (21:49):
My fitnesses here, Connor's is completely another level. So it
was never about his fitness. It's all about his mindset
and the team that we have behind him have all
because of Connor. We all just been relaxed. No, it's
not one bit of stress like he had in the
last fight, No stress whatever, It's just been painful. So
(22:12):
I know we're going to get the victory A hundred
sure that regardless what they say. I mean, Connor had
him more in trouble than he ever had Connor. And
the different thing is once Connor takes his time do
what he knows he can do, we'd be victorious early doors,
early doors.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
That's a cold line.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
I know it's overused a little bit now, but still
it's a hard line. So they, again your Nigel, say
the same thing Tony Simms is talking about with you know,
being a better boxer, and I have to assume what
they mean is they need Connor to set things up
better and not just swing for the bleachers from round one.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
And I agree with.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
That, but I just don't think you can stay at
quote unquote boxing range, which is that mid range or
even at long range with a guy like you Bank,
who's jab I think is better. I think he knows
how to do it off his front end, back foot
and walk you onto the upper cut behind it.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
So I just I would be interested to.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
See because yes he has power, and I agree with
Nigel Ben that he had Chris Eubank Junior more hurt
than Connor Benn was ever hurt in that fight. Doesn't
mean that Connor Ben won. I think he got beat
I think he got beat by a good multiple rounds.
But we saw the third round and we saw you
Bank on skates. We saw him later on the fight
get wobbled again. So I do believe the power advantage
rests with Connor Ben, even at a lower weight coming up.
(23:23):
But I'm just gonna wait to see what they mean
when they're like, ah, that wasn't boxing, it was fighting.
They're right, but that kind of needs to be in
my opinion, how Connor Ben approaches this not in the
same way. Yes, more technical, Yes, save some of that energy.
But I hope it's not let's just box with the
guy and see who wins on points, because that's not
the approach that's gonna win Connor beIN this fight in
my opinion. They're saying early doors though, so it's set
up and punctuate.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
I want to see it.
Speaker 5 (23:44):
Thank you, Nigel Christian Banksytney. I find it one to
hear before we hear from the fighters. You called your
son a legend for what he did in the ring
in April when you were sitting ringside watching that, what
made you feel that way? And how proud weren't you
with his eve It's in the first part against Corna Ben, I.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
Have a spoken.
Speaker 9 (24:13):
No, but don't talk dreads but don't talk.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
This is crazy. This man is an absolute legend. Bro.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
He said, I have a spoken We're done talk with
don't talk dreadlogs. Yeah, and again, this is kind of
what has been said about Senior and Junior's relationship for
a long time.
Speaker 10 (24:38):
Now.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
I don't want to make this something that it isn't.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
But he's given an opportunity to talk specifically about Junior
there and not about himself, and he's like, I'm done talking.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
That's a little weird because you're not You're not there
for you.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
I mean again, you're not supposed to be, So that's
a bit of a weird one. But okay, I mean
it is what it is.
Speaker 5 (24:58):
Okay here from the fighters then both sides of the
main event, Chris, you bank Junior.
Speaker 4 (25:05):
I love Ben.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
I swear I have to make that a donus now
on this Saturday, dude, if you guys come to the
live stream, we're going to have so many soundbites from
Chris you Bank Senior.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
I promise.
Speaker 5 (25:16):
I just wonder how it made you feel when you
heard that your dad called you the legend, isn't that
clip we've seen on social media? A big smile on
your face, and like we talked about, to have him
here by your side, what sort of lift is this
a few days out from the renatch.
Speaker 7 (25:29):
I'm not here to talk about my feelings or my emotions.
I'm here to talk about things that are bothering me,
and that I think I should shine a light.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
On before he gets to that.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
I I'm just gonna throw something out there, and I
could be fishing for something that's not there. Could it
be that the reason Chris you Bank Senior was not
around for the first one and until the fight itself
happened from Junior's perspective, is that having him around potentially
would be a little bit more of a distraction than
it's worth.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Think about this.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Junior's entire career up until he split from his dad
was all about his dad, and Junior in the shot,
he didn't really have to deal with that. I mean,
he had to deal with questions and things like that,
but he didn't have to deal with that going into
the first fight, as far as like having to sit
beside or behind Senior in his own fight, in his
own night. I'm not saying that's the case this time around.
We'll see tomorrow at the way ends, We'll see at
the end of this press conference. But is there something
(26:24):
there that's like, Okay, I now I have to just
deal with him a little more. I'm not saying. I'm
just saying that could.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Be a little bit of a.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Detrimental factor if it is more of the senior show
than it is about Junior, because it should be about Junior,
but seniors at once in a lifetime personality.
Speaker 7 (26:41):
There's a small issue. Well, it's not a small issue.
It's actually a very big issue to me. Oh, the
head of my security for since twenty and fourteen, a
man by the name of Ivan. He has been blackbolled
and blocked from coming to this fight by Eddie Hearn
(27:04):
and Mattrium because of a released report about it, the
stoppage of my ambulance. And I don't think it's great.
I don't think it's fan. I don't think it's correct
that a man who's you know, simply doing his job
and telling the truth is, you know, is black bowled
(27:25):
by the powers that be. So I wanted to put
that out there because if it can happen to him,
it can happen to anybody. You know, these people are
controlling the industry. They you know, they're making jokes about it,
but it's a guy's livelihood on the line.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
See, this is what I don't understand with Chris is
that he originally came out and said Eddie Hearn and
Matchroom blocked my ambulance from leaving the first fight. And
he continues now saying Eddie is blocking my security from
being at this event, and that Eddie and Mattroom are
the powers that be in this industry and at this event.
But if you look right here on the screen, you
(27:59):
see Odd Season, you see the Ring Magazine. It's a
little bit more blurry here. But that says Boxer, and
then it says Mattroom. Eddie Hearn is not the purveyor
of everything at this event. He's not the authority of
this event. He is a co promoter with Boxer and
the Ring magazine or this event. So I've never understood
why Chris is continually like everything that happens is Eddie's fault.
(28:20):
I don't even know if Eddie has the power to
block anybody. And I'm not even trying to again take sides,
but I don't think this is the message you want
to put out unless you can prove that, because I've
seen at least from Frank Warren and I've heard I
think Eddie is probably gonna sue you Bank Junior as well.
These things are easily provable in the UK. These these
you know, libel or slander lawsuits, and so I don't
(28:40):
know what You Bank Junior's game plan is there unless
he just fully knows for sure, and if that's the truth,
you know, post the evidence of it.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
But maybe he will. I just don't. I don't understand that.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
You could be like, hey, you know what, I don't
like that my guy was black ball, but like saying
Eddie himself or Mattroom himself did it, How does he
know that? Could he say like Eddie went to the
Ring magazine or went to Turkey Ala Shake or wittw
whoever and said I don't want that guy there, and
they listen.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
It's like Eddie's not the decision maker of this whole thing.
Speaker 7 (29:07):
And I don't think it's fair. So yeah, I'm putting
that out there for the world to know, and something
needs to be done about it.
Speaker 5 (29:17):
Any responds Eddie, I'm not sure if you can use
the cards for that one though.
Speaker 7 (29:22):
No, there's nothing this guy can say. I mean, in
the last press conference, as you guys saw, he used
Ricky Hatton, a legend and you know, an amazing fighter,
he used his name to try and speak during the
press conference. I mean, you know, the levels of scumbaggery
(29:44):
that we're dealing with here, it's just unparalleled. You know,
we need to get we need to get a picture
of this guy in the Oxford Dictionary under the word
scumbag just a little thumbs up, a little smile, because
he is the definition that he would do something like that.
And I didn't forget about it, and for anyone that did,
I'm bringing up again, Connor.
Speaker 5 (30:02):
Let's hear from you here this evening, listening to you
speak on the design stream yesterday. You were watching some
highlights back. It's on one from the first fight you
said you believe you took.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
It's a little tougher for Chris to do the like
Eddie's a terrible guy. Thing when He's essentially told Eddie
he can't talk enough now to where he can't have
the back and forth. Chris comes to these press conferences
not even to have the back and forth with Connor Bennon.
He comes to these press conferences with the AMMO to
have the back and forth with Eddie Hearn And then
you even heard him at the first part of the
presser be like, Yeah, how embarrassing. This guy won't even
(30:33):
talk at the press conference after Chris has told him
multiple times he can't talk. So, I don't know, it
does feel like this has gotten to a point where
Chris is frustrated that he can't have the back and forth,
but he still goes on and it just doesn't hit
the same.
Speaker 5 (30:45):
I don't know, Chris, you bank Junior's soul that night,
What makes you feel that way?
Speaker 8 (30:51):
I do the facts. He was in oschoal for three days.
I was back in the gym. He threw double amount
of punches. I was back in the gym on the Sunday.
You know, for men of my stamished it was done
in the fire. I believe I inflicted a lot more pain.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
His work grate was incredible.
Speaker 8 (31:06):
Is his resilience is strength, his spirit is a flexim
his experience. He was really well, took me up to
me by surprise, and he's a better fire than I
thought he was first off.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
But I'm ready to take what's left come Saturday.
Speaker 5 (31:24):
What do you make of that, Chris Connor claiming that
he took your soul in the ring in April?
Speaker 7 (31:29):
Who won the fight? Connor?
Speaker 3 (31:31):
You may you may have won the fight, but you're
the one in hospital, not me.
Speaker 7 (31:34):
If you take a man's soul, us win the fight?
Speaker 3 (31:38):
Who won the fight?
Speaker 7 (31:40):
Someone get taken?
Speaker 3 (31:41):
So I look at you now and you ain't the same.
Speaker 7 (31:43):
The truth is we both ended up in hospital. And
you know I was there for dehydration and you were
there for them. How much weight you took.
Speaker 8 (31:49):
On after the after the wait, after the wait, into weight?
Speaker 3 (31:57):
Talk? Three pound?
Speaker 7 (31:59):
We are into weight? You guys bring up? You guys
implemented a rehydration clause. You guys implement on that grideration clause.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
It seems your team that was your team.
Speaker 7 (32:08):
You said, okay, yeah ta, my team requested a rate restriction.
Right anyway, regardless of that.
Speaker 8 (32:13):
You a gett paid an absolute fortune to fight a
world await. I don't know what your moaning about.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
Why why don't fight?
Speaker 7 (32:18):
Why do you always talk about weights?
Speaker 3 (32:20):
Go fire damas? You want to fight a world aweight
that comes with t's and c's.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
You're the A side, comes with teas and sees.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
I mean we've we've heard this discussion, this back and
forth before. They're both talking about the weight once again. Yes,
it's a weird fight because of the weight that Chris
you banking Junior has to lose, and then the rehydration
clause that's put on him.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
I don't agree with the rehydration clauses in boxing otherwise.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
But at the same time, if you are Eddie Hearn
and your fighter is coming up from one forty seven
or one fifty four or wherever Connor's last fight was
before he got to sixty, you want to make sure
you look out for them as well. I understand it
from their point of view. Chris accepted the rehydration.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
It is what it is. We go from there.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
We found out in the first fight, even though he
missed weight, he was able to keep himself at least
somewhat in shape for the fight. Again, I don't recommend
this for anybody, and it's gonna be a tough weight
cut this time around as well for you Bank Junior.
But here we are. What else is there to say
about it. We've we've gone through this over and over.
Speaker 7 (33:14):
That I'm gonna deal with it and I don't need
to answer any But as.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
Far as like whose soul got taken in the first fight,
I agree with Connor Ben that he damaged Chris Ubank
in those moments, the moment in round three.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
H later in the fight.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
He had more damage in those moments, but Chris Ubank
Junior damaged Connor throughout the entirety of the fight. Connor
is young, so he's able to wear that damage. And
I've said this many times. I saw him the next
week and the guy didn't look like he had been
in a fight.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
It was crazy.
Speaker 1 (33:44):
But when you go back and look at the fight,
he was wearing a lot of damage on his face too.
And yes, everything that Connor said about You Bank Junior
was true. He was the more experienced boxer, He was
the better boxer. He was a great athlete. His combinations
were incredible. He threw and landed that a number that
Connor Ben couldn't match.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
He outpaced him, he outworked him.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
Christian Bank Junior won the fight going away, There is
no doubt about it. Connor is going to have to
be the one that makes more adjustments. And now Christian
Bank Junior has Bomack in the corner. That's only going
to make him better in my opinion. So I think
Connor ben is up against it here, I really do.
And again the way they're talking about how he's gonna
box better this time, I don't know, man, I hope.
I want to see a great fight. Usually when you
(34:21):
see these rematches, the guy that won the first one
tends to win the second one a little more easily
and less. The guy that lost the first one has
some attributes or something that is stand out better than
the guy that beat him the first time around. Connor
has power, but what else does he have that Chris
you Bank doesn't?
Speaker 2 (34:35):
Youth?
Speaker 11 (34:36):
I don't know the questions sympathy for people, you can
ask the doctors you're talking about you're in hospital for
you free, What do you say.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
Was sipping sipping through forty hydration limit?
Speaker 8 (34:49):
Just missed your championship weight that you've made the past
five fights.
Speaker 7 (34:54):
I did because of sabotage, because because if mat Trim
had this room full of of photographers and stopping me
from getting on.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
The scale glade was embarrassing.
Speaker 7 (35:05):
It is you guys got your wish, you got your
five hundred K. You bought a Rolls Royce.
Speaker 4 (35:09):
I did.
Speaker 7 (35:09):
Congratulations.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
I really am hoping you miss again.
Speaker 7 (35:12):
Every time you bring up You're only getting one Rolls
Royce this year.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
Mate, Might you never know, might sabotage you again?
Speaker 1 (35:19):
Chriss like rastafar R, I don't speak to him in
a disrespectful ways.
Speaker 2 (35:24):
I brought you up better to give him advice or.
Speaker 4 (35:26):
In Chris is Jamie.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
I think once you learn about Chris, you learn to understand.
Speaker 8 (35:34):
He is just the way he is. But he has
my respect for being one hell of a fighter. Was
in I genuinely for I knock you having three rounds.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
You didn't, but I did, and I almost did. You
didn't but almost did.
Speaker 8 (35:48):
And I'm not gonna let you go this time, Chris.
But I take my hat off to you because we're
we're both sitting there. We don't have to we didn't
have to choose this life. We're both here pointing all
on the line, pouring our heart. So and then so
I'll say my health to you.
Speaker 3 (36:02):
I don't like you though, you.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
See, do you guys see what I'm saying when I
talk about these mind games and the way both guys
treat each other. I'm telling you Connor Ben wants some
sort of approval from Chris you Bank Junior.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
He almost's almost like he wants he don't.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
I think he looks at Chris not in the same way,
but he kind of is treating him like a bigger brother.
Speaker 2 (36:21):
Like I'm getting Connor ben little brother.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
Syndrome met right where he's like, oh, you know, I
almost knocked you out, but you know what, I'll give
you credit, and like right back to praising him.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
Oh I almost knocked you. I'd almost put you out,
but I.
Speaker 1 (36:31):
Give you credit. We both came here and did this.
We both didn't have to box me. Maybe that's the
way he feels he's being himself. But watch the way
Chris you Bang Junior responds to him, and you can
see the difference.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
And so I'll say my health to you. I don't
like you though.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
I don't like you, just just so everybody knows, I
don't like you though.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
I don't believe him. I don't believe that he doesn't
like you a Junior, my.
Speaker 7 (36:52):
Friend, because I don't need I'm about your respect and
what you think about me, whether you like me, whether
you hate me.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
With money, I'm I.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
Don't like it.
Speaker 7 (37:01):
It doesn't it really doesn't affect me personally. I'm gonna
go out there. I'm gonna do exactly what I did
to you in April. I'm gonna take your site.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
And Joe's back in the gym when the sun do
you hear that?
Speaker 2 (37:12):
The difference in the way that you banged.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
Junior responds to him, like, dude, I don't need you
to like me or not like me, or feel any
type of way about me. I'm here to do a
job and I'm gonna do that job again the same
way I did it in April. And in the middle
of it, you hear Connor Ben No, No, I don't
like you, not whether I like you or don't, I
don't like you.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
To hear me, I said, I don't.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
Like you, Chris, Chris, I don't like It's like, dude, okay,
we get it.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Man again.
Speaker 1 (37:34):
I just I think he's falling into these and I'm
not even that's not even mine games. I just think
he's falling into a place now where everything you bank
Junior does, he has to give a reaction, has to
have the last word, has to say.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
Something at the end of it.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
And again I don't like to be the guy that's
like these things can translate over to the fight. But
what happens when this idea of you know, being more
patient and wanting to box and settle into the fight.
What happens if you banged Junior gets out early and
starts pepperingin with the jab right and he's landing combinations
and all of a sudden he's talking to him the
first second round, talking to him. Are we going to
see that same composure impatience from Connor Ben? Are we
(38:08):
going to see him be able to control himself and
his emotions or is he going to look to prove something?
Is he going to look to get the respect of Chris?
You banged Junior and go in there guns blazing once again.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
Okay, so you saw a good spiring session.
Speaker 7 (38:20):
Your song will be getting taken.
Speaker 8 (38:23):
Back in the gym on Sunday, ready to go again.
While you were crying about you're flipping tongue. Now, don't
come up, Chris, you got beat up by a welterweight.
You see your face. You got beat up by a welterweight.
Speaker 3 (38:36):
It's any other midleweight done that to you.
Speaker 7 (38:38):
You you caught me with a few good shots legs, buckle.
There was no way that the beating I took was
anywhere close to what you took.
Speaker 3 (38:46):
I was completely fine, though, shock of fairy.
Speaker 7 (38:49):
You looked fine. You punched a.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
Fairy from middleweight. He punched till I dropped back down
to Well, you.
Speaker 7 (38:54):
Don't have anything to worry about it a couple of.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
Days, he said, And to be fair, those are better
from Connor bit. I think if he would just stick
to that, like, yeah, okay, you won the boxing match,
but I won the war of this thing.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
I hurt you for life.
Speaker 1 (39:07):
I'm gonna do the same again in the rematch. That's
the thing I want to see from Connor.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
I think that's what he's trying to do.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
But he gets caught in the back and forth and
just trying to one up Chris in the back and
forth and gets away from it. But like, oh, you
were complaining about the tonail, like I busted you up
and I'm not even close to your weight.
Speaker 2 (39:21):
That kind of stuff, I think you should stay with.
Speaker 3 (39:23):
It's my last fight. I put one sixty. Yeah, I
hope everybody enjoys.
Speaker 8 (39:26):
I will be dropping back down to one four seven
to challenge the Barrioses, the Ryan Garsis, the Roly Romeros,
that Devin Haynes and Normans. I'll drop back down and
pursue my career to win a world title. I'm glad
I could give you guys this fantasy fight and me
showing a pair of bullocks to jump up two weights
to fight you while you're moaning about your tongue.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
Now do you understand I.
Speaker 7 (39:48):
Can jump up two weights. You haven't been away for
four years? Stop stop it. Nobody cares. Nobody cares.
Speaker 3 (39:58):
Exc That's my whole point.
Speaker 8 (40:02):
No one cares about you and your tone now, Chris,
nobody especially not me.
Speaker 7 (40:06):
I like you, though, all right, it's embarrassing. All let's
let's let's move on getting embarrassing. Just stop talking. Trust me.
When I'm trying to help you out, I'm trying to
help you.
Speaker 8 (40:15):
Listen, Chris, Chris, No, Chris, God no, you really don't
get to look at me, Chris.
Speaker 3 (40:25):
I look at you, would you look?
Speaker 7 (40:27):
I know what you are, Chriz, I know your faith.
I don't need to look Chris, just look at.
Speaker 3 (40:31):
Me from oh God, oh come on, man, let's see
you Saturday sake Chris.
Speaker 4 (40:39):
If he goes to plan for you.
Speaker 1 (40:41):
Oh no, this is what I was talking about, dude.
Speaker 2 (40:46):
Look at the.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
Way he has to get Chris's attention and you know,
just have him respond.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
Look at the way Connor.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
And even in the middle of that, Connor had said
all this ship earlier about how you know, I don't
like you, You're a weirdo, and then two seconds later
he's He's like, no, but I like you. He's in
a fucking blender up here. He doesn't know whether to
shake Chris's hands, give him a big hug, punch him
in the fucking face, or lash out at him and
tell him he hates him for not.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
Being the bigger brother he always wanted or something. It's
this is crazy.
Speaker 1 (41:14):
The body language experts are going to have a field
day with this press conference. The psychoanalyst, because even I
see it. Chris is in his head so bad, and
I don't even think Connor knows it. And I'm not
even saying that it will again result in Chris winning
the fight, But like, this is either a masterclass by
you Bean Junior or Connor Ben just being lost in
the sauce. I guess that was one of the weirdest
(41:35):
little end offs to an exchange I've ever seen, where
he's like begging Chris to look at him.
Speaker 2 (41:39):
Oh, Connor, no man, No.
Speaker 5 (41:42):
Dude, Where does Connor Ben go when you beat him again?
And what does it mean for your career? What do
you push on to?
Speaker 7 (41:49):
What's type of questions of these bro Where does Connor
Ben go after? I mean, I don't who cares, Tyle.
This is not about what happens next. I'm gonna go
in there. I'm going to show the world who I
am again, and then who knows what will happen next.
I can't tell you what this guy's gonna do next.
You know, he'll tell you all the stories about all
(42:10):
these different fact he's going to have, and that's great.
I'm not worried about any of that. I'm worried about
going out there in a couple of days time and
making history again and which I will do.
Speaker 4 (42:20):
Final predictions? Then, Connor, how do you do it? Saturday?
Speaker 8 (42:23):
You know what, if you asked me this question six
months ago, I would have been the only guy to
render him unconscious and knock him out.
Speaker 3 (42:29):
Sparko. Don't get me wrong, I dream about it, but.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
Sparko love that. Sometimes the UK slaying is uh, it's
very entertaining.
Speaker 3 (42:40):
I think that.
Speaker 1 (42:41):
I mean again, maybe that's the wrong mindset to people,
but I think that's Connor's best shot. You are not
going to see me predicting Connor beIN by decision.
Speaker 2 (42:48):
I just don't.
Speaker 1 (42:49):
I don't think he has the punch output to do it.
His style isn't any time I've ever seen Connor. His
style doesn't lend for a crazy output boxing technical victory.
I don't see that in the cards for him. I
could be wrong, I could be proven wrong. That'd be sick,
but I don't know.
Speaker 10 (43:04):
Man.
Speaker 2 (43:05):
I think he does need to go out there and
render you Bang Junior unconscious, go.
Speaker 8 (43:09):
In there and just give a calculated performance. So I
think everybody knows I love to fight. It's inevitable.
Speaker 3 (43:13):
I love fighting. It's who I am. It's in my DNA.
Speaker 8 (43:16):
Any fight I've had, I put on a performance for
the public, and that's my prize, giving people value for money.
You know I'm here. I'm not trying to nick a
fight on points. I'm not just trying to win. I'm
here to give people value for money and entertainment. But
ultimately my priority is to go in there and get
the win. That's my priority.
Speaker 3 (43:33):
However that comes, however.
Speaker 5 (43:35):
That looks Christian back Junior, find a word to you.
What happens Saturday nights out the world? The procedure be
parliamentary rust the fire.
Speaker 1 (43:52):
Saying that's okay, that's that's a good way to end
it up. Oh wait, no, we have face offs. We
have faces I'm glad that Chris you Bank got it
this time and didn't Butcher the last time. He said
the parliamentary will be procedure.
Speaker 2 (44:06):
Last time, he nailed this time. All right, let's take
a look at the face off. They're playing rocky music.
I gotta turn it down. Oh shit, here come Senior.
Speaker 7 (44:19):
Fly off.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
He walks, let's go. Senior walks right in front of
Junior and Nigel comes out to meet him. Oh shait,
look at Nigel. Nigel up in his grill.
Speaker 1 (44:41):
The handshake. Oh okay, okay, we got a little hug
kind of Now I'm just.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
Gonna say something.
Speaker 1 (44:50):
Let's let's rewind seniors out here. Slid off in the dark,
like flow from a progressive commercial. He pushes through shalom,
get out of my way, out of here, walks not
only behind Chris to support him, you know, like Nigel's doing. Nah,
He's walking right up beside Chris, getting in front of him,
and then Nigel gets in front of Connor and so
(45:12):
no longer is this shot about and this is again. Look,
this shot isn't even about Junior and Connor, Ben. This
shot is Senior and Nigel Bins and.
Speaker 2 (45:22):
You're taking the spotlight again.
Speaker 1 (45:24):
Man, I can't be mad at it because it is
cool to see two legends face off again and even
get a little you know, snarky at each other.
Speaker 2 (45:31):
But like taking that spotlight, man, incredible.
Speaker 1 (45:45):
Gyrating up there in the freaking the tiger, Like calm down, Dad,
calm the funk down.
Speaker 2 (45:56):
That's so funny. Oh my goodness, that's awesome. Special, it's
so funny, dude. This is why you need I mean again,
I don't know how how Junior deals with that. I'm
not sure.
Speaker 1 (46:10):
Early in his career obviously didn't like it. That's why
he separated from his dad. But this type of stuff makes.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
This fight so entertaining, dude, I'm not Junior, so I'm
a fan. I can.
Speaker 1 (46:19):
I can sit back and watch and laugh and be
entertained and also take in the moment because you're never
gonna see this again.
Speaker 2 (46:26):
You're not guys.
Speaker 1 (46:27):
If you're watching this video and you're watching this fight
on Saturday with me here live of the way concept,
just realize you're never getting another moment of these four
guys like this ever again.
Speaker 2 (46:37):
I mean again, maybe there's a trilogy. I doubt it.
Speaker 1 (46:39):
Take this in and appreciate it, but there it is.
What a press conference, What a press conference. What a
way to get into the last couple of days of
fight week. I'm not gonna make another video on Way
D unless something crazy happens, but I'll just give you
my prediction here. It's very simple to me. Two things
are going to happen in this fight. Either Connor Benn
is going to Chack change the way he approaches this
(47:01):
fight so much that he takes himself out of the fight,
meaning he wants to stay outside to mid range and
try to box with Chris Ubank Junior, who I think
is a better boxer and I think will win a
technical point fight. Or this thing is going to get
more interesting if connor Ben uses his lead hand jabs
his way into the fire more but yet still runs
into that fire and tries to heat up Chris Ubank Junior.
(47:24):
They talk about connor Ben's gas tank and how it's insane.
I think he's gonna need all of it in this fight,
because what he couldn't do in the first fight was
get Junior out of there, and once he couldn't get
him out of there, his pace slowed down a tad
bit into the later parts of the fight. He didn't stop,
and he didn't quit. He was still there trying to
win that fight, laid into the fight and having some success,
(47:44):
but u Bank Junior's gas tank, while throwing more punches,
proved to be the one that ended up outlasting connor Ben.
Speaker 2 (47:51):
There's a side of me that sees.
Speaker 1 (47:52):
Connor Benn clipping you Bank Junior with one of those
right hands or left hooks that he didn't see again,
and this time connor Ben, looking a bit bigger, potentially
puts him down. But I and the way Curse is
putting its money on Chris you Bank Junior, I think
this time he gets it done, probably in a similar fashion.
I could see another decision here for you Bank Junior.
I think a bit more of a smarter fight, not
(48:14):
being drawn into the fire and utilizing his jab, being
weight on the back foot, not on the back foot,
but having that weight on the back foot in those exchanges,
being able to separate whenever he feels the fire's too hot, reset.
Speaker 2 (48:27):
And go again. I think we're gonna see something similar
this time.
Speaker 1 (48:29):
I could see you Bank Junior and getting hurt again
if he does engage in the fire, and if if
connor Ben can got him into it, if connor Bin
can make Junior fight again with the damage you put
on him in the first fight, I could easily see
connor Bin winning this fight by knockout. But that's not
what I'm picking. I'm going you Bank Junior. I'm going
by decision. I think Ben, with a more patient start
to this fight, will also lose rounds early in this
(48:52):
fight because of that patience. But I think You'll have
big moments like he did in the first fight. Hell,
he may even wobble Chris you bank Junior or put
him down. But I think again, you Bank Junior knows
he can beat this guy. He's done it before, and
I don't know that the game plan is gonna be
necessarily super different for either guy. I know they're all
talking like that, but I think once the fight starts,
and again, not to put too much into it, but
(49:12):
these mind games and the way that Connor interacts with
Chris Youubanks Junior at a certain point, that emotion will
get involved. In my opinion, at a certain point when
the emotion is involved, Connor goes from boxing to fighting,
and you Bank Junior knows how to switch between both
fight when he has to box. Otherwise, that's what we'll
get it done. You guys, let me know down below
what you think who wins this fight? On Saturday. Make
sure you're here for the live stream. We're going live
