Speaker 1 (00:02):
To Teas in a pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Camera Judge.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
All Right, you guys, we are live from Bravocon.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
I am here with Jackie Goldschneider and Jen Bessler. Not
only are they here as my guests, but I have
exciting news because we are launching Two Jersey Jays, which myself,
Chris Harrison, and Tarma Judge will be executive producing. We
are so excited to join for you guys to join

(00:38):
the iHeart family. Thank you, guys.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
You are not even half as excited as Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Well, I have a question.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Is Teresa excited that you're doing podcast with me and Tamra?

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Yeah. She hasn't said a word otherwise. She's just been like,
I'm so excited for you guys. Yeah, huh yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
I was curious actually of Tamra and I don't at
Bravo Con.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
I don't know if she knows that we're with you guys.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah, so she's excited for us.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
We'll see what happened.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Oh you didn't say the twats No, Okay, that's where
things get a little dicey. So two Jersey Jays with
Jackie and Jen will be providing listeners with a refreshing
and relatable twist on the reality of being a real housewife,
from menopause to making the most of your forties and fifties.
These two Jersey jays will explore the unfiltered, unapologetic and

(01:36):
often hilarious, hilarious realities of women who are chasing the
spark in life, finding love, and navigating deep friendships. Which
leads me kind of into some of the questions that
I have for you guys today. I'm excited for y'all's pod,
but first, we've got to do things Twat style.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
You got it, Let's do it a little Twat style action.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
You guys will be able to listen to this wherever
you listen to podcast on iHeartRadio, and it will be
on our twats feed, So make sure that you guys
keep tuning in. So we already covered Teresa not realizing
that you're actually doing a pod with us, but excited
that you're doing a pod. So, but are any of
the other Jersey housewives a little jelly?

Speaker 5 (02:22):
I mean, I don't think that even if there was jealousy,
that they would let that show. I think as housewives,
you become very accustomed to a poker face. So I
don't know. I mean, everyone seems very happy for us.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
I mean I know who hasn't congratulated me? Well, I
mean many people. I'll tell you who has Teresa and
Jen Ayden? Who else has?

Speaker 5 (02:43):
Everybody has congratulated?

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Oh Dolores.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Yeah, Oh I love Dolores like I love Dolores.

Speaker 5 (02:49):
And I don't think they're jealous. We're first of all
they are.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
I don't know if they're jealous.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
O friends anyway, we're not housewives, so we have redefined
friends this season fair enough. But I mean I don't
know that they get so jealous of us and.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Jersey gets a hip, right, that's that's yeah, that's it.
Do you think either of you guys are going to
get hip this year?

Speaker 5 (03:08):
I never heard that expression ever. Do you mean like
hold a tomato time?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Like yes, because you don't. You guys don't have a
prop you have just the hip.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Yeah. So I think their decisions are already made. I
guess anything could change, but no, because our families are
not as.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
Much on it, right, Yeah, our families are definitely not
as much on it. But also I think maybe we
are the exception, not the rule. But I don't I'm
not dying necessarily to be a housewife, Like I'm thrilled
with the way.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
That they like it on Miami.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Marisol and Adriana are just in the mix as much
as the actual housewife, So there isn't if you're in
it as a friend in a certain capacity, it doesn't
really matter.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Yeah, I think the friend roll like it's what you
do with it. Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
It's also like a little less invasive right to not
have the cameras in your home quite as much and
in your person a story quite as.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Much, focusing on every little crumb of your life.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Right now that you're here and we were all in
the room together, there was a lot of speculation about
where everybody, how the panel switched, how are you close
with Teresa? Now, I need to know Jackie.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Well, I don't want to ruin it because it's actually
it happened very organically. Okay. It was not like, oh,
I mean people are saying like, oh, Jackie needed some relevance,
so she like switched to lines like that's ridiculous. I
don't need anything. Really, it's so stupid. But it's really
organic and I don't want to ruin it. But it
happened very naturally and authentically.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
And are both of you guys in a good place
or not such a great place with Marge, you're.

Speaker 5 (04:51):
Talking about us? Are you talking about Teresa and Jackie?
Because no them, are both of you guys, I'm in
a great place with Margaret?

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Yes, okay, because my eagle eyes were looking around last
night and I didn't see much chatting.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Not me.

Speaker 5 (05:03):
I'm not in a great place. They're definitely not in
a great place.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
So how does she feel about you doing this podcast?
With Margaret has.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Always been nothing but supportive of me, no matter.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
What it is, so everyone knows that me in general,
like sisters, she's no coming between us.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
She had she has had nothing, but you know, wonderful
kind supported things to say about it to me.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
All right, all right, can you explain a little bit
more of the backstory and you're not going to give
anything away, but the backstory on how the panel switched
so last minute though, go jack.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
I think it was equal parts the fact that it
just didn't fit anymore, like my feud with Margaret was
all over the internet already, so it was equal parts
that and the fact that two of the other cast
members really don't get along and don't belong together. I
can't say anything about like what happened between them this season,

(05:58):
but Danielle and Jennifer don't get along, so it worked
for both of us to switch over.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Do you guys think that Danielle's a good housewife? Go
Jack No Seven to bitch. I do.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
I think she's a very good housewife. Actually I do.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
She definitely puts it all out there.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Do you think in an authentic way?

Speaker 5 (06:22):
Yes, one hundred.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
I think Jack ying.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
I think she's a hunt.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
I think that's almost like to a fault, like she
can't hold her emotions back.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Yeah, can't hold her emotions back. We'll leave it there.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Do you think she has a true organic friendship with
anybody outside of I was.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
Just asking, like, who is she hanging out with this weekend?
I don't know. I really don't know much about her.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
And then what about Rachel?

Speaker 5 (06:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (06:48):
I like Rachel?

Speaker 5 (06:49):
You like Rachel.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Rachel's very close with Melissa.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
And you're still fine with Melissa?

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Yes, definitely not as close, but I'm fine with Melissa. Listen,
if we're to be honest, I think she doesn't like
that I'm close with Teresa Yeah, that's the honest truth.
And but you know she doesn't. She tries not to
let that show. But I think I think that's true.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
And there's been a lot of speculation that this year
because you guys didn't even get a final trip. I know,
the house burned down or whatever, but that it means
that it's going to get a complete shake up, the
same way that New York did.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Do you believe any.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
I wouldn't be shocked, but I don't. That's not what
my gut is telling me. I do think there's going
to be a cast change, but that's just you know,
I'm always wrong.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
I was so sure of how things are going to
go down after last season, and I was clearly wrong
about everything that I was thinking.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
So yeah, and then I have to ask you a
question because you said something last night, and I was
wondering how it actually affects you. Everybody in the room
essentially last night was talking about Ozempic. Yeah, when you
make jokes about Ozebec, Yeah, when Jen makes jokes about Zembach,
how does that make you feel?

Speaker 4 (08:15):
I'm fine. I don't care who is on Ozembic. I
care about Ozempic itself. And what's going to end up
happening in a few years. God forbid they find that
it does have side of X because there's not long
term studies on it. And I just wonder all these
people who are newly really thin. I know what that
does to your mind, and like, you don't want to

(08:36):
go backwards. So what's going to happen if and when
these drugs are not available to use in a healthy
way anymore and suddenly you don't know what to do
in order to stay thin.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Yeah, And I mean I've had the same kind of
thoughts when it comes to a zembic.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
I do what you want to do, whatever feels best
for you.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
I just hope that anybody that is doing it is
also making other lifestyle change does that are sustainable, because
if all of a sudden it's taken away.

Speaker 5 (09:04):
I'm definitely not making sustainable lifestyle changes at all. I
am eating, like the first time in my life, I'm
eating pizza and bagels and that's basically my mainstay. So
I'm not exercising that.

Speaker 4 (09:17):
Just because then you have people don't want to think
about malnutrition. You don't really think about that, But if
you're not using your very small amount of food to
really like, well, but before.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
I was just eating more pizza and bagels. It's not
like I was such a health nut before, right, I
was just eating more of bad foods.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
Yeah, I just know there's a lot of muscle loss
that goes along, yes, And so as you get older,
it's not so good for you to lose muscle like that.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Does it make you feel yucky? Not that you're on it,
but the actual medication itself.

Speaker 5 (09:49):
It doesn't make me feel yucky. My body is now
the body of like a ninety year old. Like it's okay,
No it's not. I'm not good.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
I'm like, no, it's ninety year old.

Speaker 5 (09:57):
No, it's there's nothing hot about it. I mean because
the muscle I know, does deteriorate. And my skin is
I have like like three asses, Like I have the ass,
and then there's a layer under the ass, and then
there's a layer like underneath that ass. It's just like
all the skin.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Just falls, you know what I meanin sandwich, it's.

Speaker 5 (10:14):
A skin sandwich. But I just maybe I should give
a shit, but I just I don't.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
I'm fifty five years old. I'm not looking to get
into a bikini. Necessarily, so I'm not like I'm okay
with it.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Can we talk a little bit about the newbies, Kyla
and Tiffany.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
Yeah. I don't know that they have an official like
roll on the show. Yeah, but they were around a lot.
They were both great. Yeah, great.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Did they bring anything to it or they're just I.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
Think that it was a very I think it was
a very awkward thing because they were, you know, in
some scenes not in others, So they weren't there when
the ship would hit the fan, but then they were
sort of there for the next scene. And what they're
I think was hard. Probably who were they friends? Who
did they come in as friends?

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Kayla I think is friends with Danielle yep and Tiffany
also her cousin and Danielle are friends.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
Do you think there's anyone on your cast that's headed
for us trouble?

Speaker 4 (11:14):
I don't think so, I would tell you honestly, I
really don't think so.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
No.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
I think everyone's marriage is pretty strong. Yeah, I mean,
I would you think that somebody would answer that? On
Jersey I get a nice as it. Actually, I don't
really you think. I think everyone's everyone's spouse is really
they're like Champion on our show.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
Is Jen Aiden's relationship called into question again this year?

Speaker 4 (11:38):
I don't think so.

Speaker 5 (11:39):
There are some snarky comments for sure, like in the
middle of fight there's like, you know, to just sort
of like nasty little digs. But no, her surely not,
like her marriage for real is not being.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
There's going to be any drinks thrown this year at
Bravocon like last year in the Ganza.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
Wor, It's not going to be Jen. If there is,
it's not going to be Jen. She she learned her lesson.
I think, who do you think would throw a drink?
If there was one person? I mean, based on history,
I would say Danielle.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Okay, who has the most emotional season on Jersey this year?

Speaker 5 (12:15):
That's a great I think, well, there's it's really hard to,
you know, pick one because it is a crazy I
know they said that every season.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
It's the same, it is the same level.

Speaker 5 (12:26):
Teresa, Danielle, Margaret Jackie, everybody.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
Everybody gets emotional in fights. Who has the most emotional season?
That not me? Definitely not Jet.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
You seem like a lot just I'm trying. I mean
it's not easy. Fine, No, I got into it more
this season than I did last season. Like last season
was I felt like I just kind of got to
be like the comic relief.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Yeah, so now you've popped your cherry.

Speaker 5 (12:51):
I popped my cherry.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
She has an emotional season because not only is she
feuding with like other castmates, but you know, it's a
real her brother. And I think that she's I mean,
a piece of heart. Just from where I sit. I
think she's sad about it, you know.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
And do you think I mean, I know I've already
heard that they get into it at the finale, Like
it was pretty much two separate sets of filming the
entire season until the end, and there was a big blowout.
Do we think in the history of Jersey we are
ever going to see the reconciliation of those two families?

Speaker 4 (13:25):
I would say no. I mean, I'm a betting girl.

Speaker 5 (13:27):
I'm betting. No, Like I don't, I don't think.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
So that's tough. Yeah, sad, that's really tough. Yeah, that's
why having your family on the show.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Yeah, that's why I'm not like pushing for like the
full time thing. Ever. Again, I have four teenagers. They're
used to their privacy. Again, Evans used to like stepping
in and stepping out when he needs to, you know,
like it works for my family because I you know Jersey,
it's tough on families.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
Was there anyone last night that you got at the
Twatz party that you guys loved meeting that you hadn't
met before.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Who did you think was fun?

Speaker 5 (14:05):
I mean, I was it for me? It was again
like I don't know any of these people. I've been
watching them. I feel like I know them because I've
been watching them and I've been watching their their lives
and their families for years. So each time I turned around,
I was like, holy shit, I was like dying. So
I mean all of them, I mean from Charay to

(14:26):
Whitney Rose too. I mean there was everybody was here.
It was you know, so many that I've met.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
I've met everyone. But I have to say, Chanelle Ion's
energy oh so fucking good. I like, I'm sorry, I cursed, curse,
I'm amazing. Like I wanted to stay by her side
all night.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
Oh and and I THO liked that about Gerdy too,
But I was.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
In the room so much I did barely even got
to see Gerty. So I've bummed about that because it
Chanelle was banging down the podcast or all night. All right,
you guys each have to spind the wheel. There's no
plead the fifth. You have to answer the question no
matter what.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Okay, you have to push it hard.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
I have to like when you spend it, spend it hard.
If not, it'll only go one little thing, one out
of time. So you'll take this one. Okay, Oh, what
housewife bank account do you want?

Speaker 4 (15:16):
Very easy? I'll take Sutton for fifty dollars please.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
You know what me too? That three hundred thousand dollars
a month's very nice.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
I can live on that. You really so sorry?

Speaker 2 (15:28):
Why am I.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Spinning for you?

Speaker 5 (15:30):
Because our away and hold on? Okay, that's about as
much energy to have. It's the exempic. If you could
pick a cast trip to what if you could pay location? Oh,
if you could pick it, I'll tell you where it
wouldn't be. It wouldn't be the berkshears. Yeah, so that
was not I wasn't like.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Whoohoo, does anyone get physical this year?

Speaker 4 (15:53):
I'm going to plead the fifth on that. I didn't
spend the wheel on that. So I'm going to plead
the fifth.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
You know what, you could just do I'm your producer,
and yet I look it, my boss.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
I would want it, mommy. Well, if I could pick anywhere,
I would like to go to Australia. But that's just
because that's where I want to go. It's like me too,
that's just.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
I'll just come along with you guys. We'll do a
whole storyline about your podcast just so we can all
go to Australia.

Speaker 5 (16:16):
Well, I like it.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
Thank you guys so much.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
Make sure that you tune into Two Jersey Jays on
iHeartRadio wherever you listen to podcasts, because these girls are
going to be bringing it and I can't wait until
they're allowed to spill even more tea.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
Thanks guys, Thank you Teddy
