Two Teas and a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Cameradge Edge.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas in
a Pod.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
But I am missing a tea, But luckily I have
an l I have Lisa Milan with me.
Speaker 4 (00:26):
You do, Hi, Seddy. By the way, Teddy, you look
so good.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
I'm me little crop top, the butt, all the things.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
You know, I like to bring it, especially when I'm
coming to see you.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Well, you know, one day I'm going to bring a
butt and everybody's not gonna know what to do with it.
They're gonna be like, hold on, like I am like
SpongeBob SquarePants, Like there's actually not one.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
You could come on.
Speaker 5 (00:48):
There's so many housewives that bought theres you can buy yours.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
But what would I say? What would be my thing
that I'd say?
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Be like, oh, I've just been doing so many squats.
They're like, we've seen you've been doing squats for years
and you've never had.
Speaker 5 (01:00):
It, or just say yeah, or just say it's natural,
like it's some of the housewives do that.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
You know what?
Speaker 3 (01:08):
At age forty five, my body decided to metamorphise into me.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
But and hormones.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
I'm gonna, you know what, I'm gonna remove a rib
while I'm at it too.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
My natural mine's natural.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
For the record, Okay, we Gertie and I just did
a podcast where we talked about housewives that are open
to discussing about what work they've had done and what aren't.
I've always been really open with myself, like I'm like,
I've had a necklift, I had my boobs done, I
get botox, Like, I don't mind sharing it because for me,
it's like I think, if you look at pictures of
(01:43):
me from when I was sixteen, you look at pictures
of me.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Now, I still can you can?
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, like, yes, there are things that have changed,
but it also.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
Is me teddy. Are you asking me what I've had done? Yeah,
that's just just ask.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
I'm round about.
Speaker 5 (02:01):
Well, I've had my boobs done more than one time,
only one time after do we need newbies? Well, they
said after ten years. So I had mine done after
my second son, who's seven years old.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
So you're similar to me. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
And then I've had LiPo, but that's there on my stomach.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Do you have any kind of like lumps from it?
Speaker 5 (02:21):
I did, and it actually gave me loose skin, so
I don't recommend getting lipol. I think it kind of
did the opposite effect. Like I can't wear bathing suits now,
I can't wear like my thing down there because I
have loose skin around the belly button area.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
And then they said you can do a tummy tuck
and I'm like, well, why didn't You're huge?
Speaker 5 (02:41):
Just yeah, And I'm like, so, why didn't you tell
me that from the start? And he was like, I
didn't know that your skin was going to react this way.
So I highly recommend just going to the gym if
you can, because honestly, I have loose skin and I
feel like my stomach, even though it wasn't flat, you know,
I still had baby fat. I feel like I could
(03:01):
have lost it and I would have been much better. Yeah,
but I've never had anything done to my face, not
even botox, not even filler nothing. I literally look exactly
the same as I did when I was a baby.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Well, I've had a lot of botox, Like if I
could have botox in my home.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
And what age do you think is a good time
to start?
Speaker 5 (03:21):
Because for black women, they say black don't crack, But
I have friends who you know they've done.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
I think here here, when I.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Was playing twenty well, I rode horses for a living,
so like I was always in the sun, and I
was so at age twenty eight, like my forehead was
already kind of a disaster. Okay, that's the first time
I got botox. Okay, and then sometimes I feel it.
My body metabolizes it differently, so it depends like I
hadn't had it for you know, six or seven months.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Right, I got it. But I love botox. I don't
love the way piller looks on.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Okay, one time I got it right here, and then
I looked like a puffer fish.
Speaker 5 (04:01):
But they say prevention is better than cure. So I
have friends that are like, Lisa, just do it. I
know you don't need it, but do it because prevention
is better than cure. But then for me, I'm googling,
researching what's in the botox, and it's it's all of
these words that I can pronount, motialism, like.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
What is that?
Speaker 5 (04:17):
Like, I don't know any of that stuff, horse, tranquilize,
all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
I'm like, huh uh hear about that. I'm looking at
your face right now.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
You look absolutely stunning. And you do not need it,
nor do I think anybody needs that. You do it
if you want to. And I just have always been
transparent because I don't really care.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
Yeah, like say I if I did it, I would say,
but I think botox.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
People can tell when you have or not. You can't
do certain things.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Yeah, I have a hook right here, like the one
little hook where like it didn't take that.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
I need to go back and be like, hey, this
one spot didn't it didn't quite take.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Yeah, but yeah, that's kind of what we were chatting about.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
But to start out, clearly, Lisa is an entrepreneur living
out her dreams. Do why this is straight from her bio.
I'm reading it.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
I don't think i've heard.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
The former Miss Jamaica winner is the founder and chief
designer of luxury maternity fashion brand Mina Row.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
So Far so Good.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
Yeah, so far, so good, which has been worn and
loved by celebrities.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
That's true too. I feel a little.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Offended that you never sent me any when I was
pregnant any of the time.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
When when when was your last baby?
Speaker 3 (05:25):
I was on Beverly Hills when I was pregnant. So
she's three.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
She just turned four, really, and we didn't send you
a care package. No, well, guess what we actually have
post pregnancy Like not that you need any of that,
but it's honestly the clothes. I wear it all the
time and it's just ready to wear, but it's it's
flattering to all by supercomfy, super travel.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
I have these leggings. They're called the love Handlers.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
So basically, yes, a whole collection of love Handlers. So
basically it just keeps you snatched, which but it's comfortable,
like I fly in mine. It's like having like a
little waist trainer without all that excessive like yeah on
the stomach exactly exactly. So we actually have a post
pregnancy line that you can my package. I am sending
you a package tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
And Chanelle just sent me her I mean, I guess
it was a couple months ago, but her makeup line.
And I was like, it's weird. I didn't get anything
from me to road.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
Yeah, it's coming, it's in the package. It's in the mail.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
That's what I do here. I bring people on to
guild them. Just send me first stuff.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
You're the proud mother of three children.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Please tell me your kids names because This is a
big thing now in the housewives world.
Speaker 5 (06:38):
It's people not being able to remember, yeah, other people's kids' names.
So it's Maximilian, Sebastian, and Christian, so all of their
names and with I a N because I'm OCD and
Michian and Ian means child of God, so all of
their names end with I A N.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Do you think there's anyone on your current cast that
don't know your kids' names?
Speaker 5 (06:58):
You know, I would have to say, maybe Stanbury doesn't
know my kids' names. But I did make an agreement
with her that will kids are off limits and I
will not bring up her mothering skills and her lack
their off or and all of that.
Speaker 4 (07:13):
Like, I'm just gonna leave it.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
So you're doing a great job of it so far,
I think.
Speaker 4 (07:16):
So, I think, So I hope, So I hope. So
I'm not gonna do as No. Oh was that shade.
It was a little bit of oh no, No, she's great.
She's great. She's great in general.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Who is who are you not great with at the moment?
Speaker 5 (07:36):
Without you know what, I actually have a good relationship
with everyone on my cast, some more than others. But
miss Teddy, you're gonna have to do it into season
two because what I'm not gonna do is give you
all the tea because I think you know what. I'll
tell you why, because it's a lot of things are
(07:57):
gonna happen that people would not expect.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Leave it there, and my opinion, my guess is that
Sarah will be a friend of this season and there
will be a new housewife because reports are telling me
there is a Telline Marie.
Speaker 5 (08:10):
Yes, there's Telline. Talline is the new housewife. She's amazing.
Whose friend is she is coming in? So she came
in as Caroline Brooks his friend. Okay, yes, and you
get along with her sometimes?
Speaker 4 (08:27):
Well, I like heis.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
I like her, I do actually like her. I think
I can take her in doses.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
Is she a big big energy? She's a big energy,
bigger than Chanel.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
Which Chanel the chanelle that we get on camera or
the channel that we get off.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
Well, the chanelle I got a Bravo con is a
very big energy. Okay, So I don't know, I don't know.
I didn't see her at Bravocan. Now there's so many
unanswered questions. Okay, so you guys come back. What's the
air date June second, June second. It's so far, but honestly,
I feel like it's going to be worth the wait.
(09:09):
Like there's so many twists entering. I swear to God,
if Bravo don't put the money behind.
Speaker 4 (09:14):
This and push it like it deserves, I'm going to
raise hell.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
I feel like you guys might be the only franchise
with other than Sarah.
Speaker 5 (09:22):
Everybody's married, right, everyone's married except Caroline Brooks as well.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
She's divorced.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
She's divorced. She's divorced. Do you do we see her
dating at all?
Speaker 4 (09:31):
Maybe?
Speaker 2 (09:32):
All right, because that's what I want to see.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
I want to see somebody that's divorced getting back into it.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
Yeah not.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
I mean, so Sarah and Brooks are both divorced, and
you might.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
See them dating anybody that you know?
Speaker 4 (09:44):
Maybe okay?
Speaker 3 (09:46):
And how would you feel about one of the women
on Dubai, Yeah, being with somebody that's friends with your husband?
Speaker 4 (09:54):
Oh no, oh no.
Speaker 5 (09:56):
See, the thing is, my husband has really good friends.
He's not a big, you know, social butterfly, and his
friends are like, his friends mean a lot to him,
and they have substance.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
So I just think it just wouldn't work. So did
you watch this season of Miami? I love my Can I.
Speaker 5 (10:17):
Tell you Miami, and not because I'm from Miami, but
I feel like Miami are the underdogs. But this season,
this season Miami, I feel was the best one.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
So good, so good.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
But how did you feel about Marcus and Jodie being
in the dressing rooms?
Speaker 4 (10:35):
Can I tell you? Marcus was so annoying?
Speaker 5 (10:39):
Okay, so annoying, so and them always cutting to him.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
I was like, is he getting paid?
Speaker 5 (10:47):
I don't know, I don't know to be paid, I
don't know, I don't know. But that was really annoying.
And I actually like them together. I actually like them together.
But seeing him in there, oh, they can't even.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
What did he say?
Speaker 2 (11:00):
They can't even wash my dishes?
Speaker 4 (11:01):
Like, boy, if you don't go sit down somewhere, yeah,
I was like, are you kidding me?
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Well, he wanted to sit down on the couch.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
His dishes are Michael Jordan's, I mean, because they're two
different dishes.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
And listen, I'm a NAPO baby.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
Like, I get it, but I don't understand saying you
don't want to talk about somebody, yeah, and then the
first chance that you get talking about.
Speaker 4 (11:27):
It, yeah, No, I didn't like that.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
I wish husband's boyfriends, you know, would stay out of it,
you know, like leave the girls to be messy and caddie.
I love when, like my husband stays out of it,
like he doesn't want.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
Any parts of it, you know, And I think I
like men like that.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Feel about Sergio.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
I said, the husbands stayed out of it.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
Right.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
What I love Sergio, I really do is so cute.
Sergio is so so cute.
Speaker 5 (12:01):
But you know, Sua likes to be in the mix, right, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
So what are your thoughts on that relationship?
Speaker 5 (12:09):
You know what it's grown on me. I really like
them together. I actually think they they do really well together.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
Yeah hm, okay, yeah, how are you hot? How do
you feel about them? No?
Speaker 3 (12:24):
I now I'm about to say actually, which I think
is like the worst thing to say, because when you
say actually before giving a.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Compliment, then you really are an asshole.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Yeah, you're like, I actually really enjoyed your cooking, right,
actually had fun tonight.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Like it's it's kind of an asshole thing.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
But every time I have been with them, he has
been very fun and kind. Actually he is actually out
to say actually, it's a real problem.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
Try to do it without acting. It really is hard,
but he is. Actually, we can we can do hard things, Lisa.
He's nice, he's nice. I leave it there.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
So who's your favorite husband?
Speaker 4 (13:05):
Mine?
Speaker 2 (13:06):
Well, no, you can't pick yours. Clearly I would help
you married to him, but no, I love Chris.
Speaker 5 (13:11):
I love Ion's husband. Okay, I love Chris. Chris is
like such an amazing guy.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
Because I'm trying to even remember back two Bravo cons Ago.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Yeah, there was supposedly.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Some drama involving Ion's husband not actually living in Dubai.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Is that fact?
Speaker 5 (13:29):
No, that was the worst rumor that Caroline Brooks told you. Yep, yes,
well her mess she's so messy, she is so messy.
But none of that was true. I remember that because
you stirred the pod. Yeah, miss tea in the pot.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Well, I do what I do and you do it, well,
I need to do it.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
Well now you starting a whole thing at Bravo cod
And then she's like, yeah, because I remember when.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
She was the cause I actually didn't.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
I actually didn't remember if I started it or tamor.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
Did you did? You started it? And Ion finished it?
All right?
Speaker 3 (14:11):
Okay, so where are we with Ion at this point,
we are well I read that Chanelle and Stanbury seem
to be good friends.
Speaker 5 (14:22):
Now, yeah, Seam is also you know, you know, but
it's so on point, seems okay, seem and that you
guys are no longer in the place that you used
to be. Well, we are no longer in the place
that we used to be, which is quite sad. I'm
not gonna lie like I remember being really devastated about it.
But listen, friendships go through ups and downs. Right now,
(14:46):
we're in a down.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
But you never know when do you think, if you
were to be a guessing kind of gal, when the
reunion's going to be, if we're.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Going to be in June, I would say maybe August.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
And do you guys ever bump into each other?
Speaker 4 (15:03):
Of course we have the same friends, We're in the
same friend groups.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Okay, So that this was my issue with Dubai the
first season. I felt like nobody was actually really friends,
Like it just felt like a group of people pushed together.
And then that's why I said, I buy is gonna
build it and we're gonna start to really love it.
Speaker 5 (15:21):
Yeah, so Ian and I have actually been best friends
in real life for years, even before the show. So
she was my model. I booked her to model for
me in a row. We developed a friendship over that
and over the years our husbands play golf together.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
So when the whole.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
Thing for just a friend, give a friend to goat.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
Listen, that's a good question.
Speaker 5 (15:42):
But in her defense, in their culture in Somalia and Kenya,
giving a goat is like a big deal, Like that's
like showing like love and appreciation, like it's a big deal.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
So she was coming from a good place. But that
was like giving me.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Your pool, was giving the anxiety with the goat, giving goat.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
All of it. Yeah, it was.
Speaker 5 (16:07):
It was rest in peace to Miscoat, Rest in peace
to Miscoat.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
Yeah, but never again that never.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
You've lived the goat life.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
And yeah, I'm Jamaican. We curry goats, we don't pet them.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
When you said that, which Chanelle, the one on the
show or off the show? Can you lean into that
a little more?
Speaker 5 (16:29):
I mean, the Chanelle I know is a very different
person to what the world knows, right, So I think
the world's gonna get to know her in many different
forms this season because what we've seen and what I've
seen has always been the over the top like fun
(16:50):
loving but a little bit messy like that persona.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Are we going to see a softer side?
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Maybe tune in.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
Side June second, thanks for thanks for asking having me
lead up that question to get that juicy answer.
Speaker 4 (17:11):
Lemon, squeezy, are you having.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
Do you think there's any friend of this season other
than Sarah who I've already predicted.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
We we do have some friend of some good ones too,
some good ones.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
Yeah, there are any of them? Friends of you?
Speaker 5 (17:27):
Yes, friendly of me? Friendly, friendly, friendly, Yeah. I didn't
bring them in. Okay, Yeah? Who do you think is
gonna have the roughest season this season?
Speaker 4 (17:38):
I would have to say, I think me? What? Yeah?
I think me.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
Because of personal reasons or because of the women.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
I think everything. I think everything. Are you still married?
I'm still married, happily Jesus Christ. That part is good.
That part is good. Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
I hurt my neck a week ago because my kids
play soccer. So they play for Manchester City Academy, and
so we were in Qatar because they travel internationally to
play games, and I hurt my neck. Just going back
on if everything is good with my marriage, and I'm like,
oh my God, I can't do anything. I've been sick
in bed all week. But then I had to jump
on a seventeen hour flight obviously because Elton Elton John's party.
Speaker 4 (18:23):
I can't miss it. And my husband's looking at me like, well, you've.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
Been sick, yoh, and you're about to get in a flight,
like what's up? And I'm like, oh my god, why
would you You don't think about me?
Speaker 4 (18:33):
Why would you ask me for sex right now? When
are you kidding me? And he was like looking, He's like, yeah,
for duty.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
No, you have to do it the day.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
Before you you have to. It's like a fit.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
It's actually written in the prenup it is.
Speaker 4 (18:49):
I don't have a prenup. But if I don't know, girl,
I'm not signing no prenup.
Speaker 5 (18:55):
Everything is half of mine, actually probably more because I
have the kids.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
What are the rules because in California it's fifty to fifty,
But what's Dubai rules?
Speaker 5 (19:04):
I don't know Dubai rules, but I know my rules.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
And I wasn't ready. I actually wasn't ready.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
It will not be fifty to fifty. God for bide,
God forbide, God forbid. I raised the kids right, Yeah, well,
this is.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
Now bringing me to the Elton John party.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
Yes, I normally go overy a year because one of
my best friends throws it everykay and who's your best friend?
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Her name is Virginia Fount. She runs the Elton John Foundation.
Speaker 4 (19:32):
Amazing.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Yeah, So normally I go, but this week I was
with my daughter in Palm Springs, so I'm like living
vicariously through everybody's Insta stories.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
Yeah, how was it? Who's your favorite person to meet?
Speaker 4 (19:43):
Oh? It was so fun.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
We had literally had the best time. I saw your bestie.
I saw Kylee. Yeah, there with Kesha.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
And Sami people.
Speaker 5 (19:54):
I didn't see Avro, but I was tiny like me,
so you could have missed how many people?
Speaker 4 (20:00):
Well people.
Speaker 3 (20:01):
The first time I ever saw Kim Kardashian I always
saw on TV and thought she was going to be tall. Yeah,
and then I was standing next to her and I
was like, I'm five three and I'm towering over yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
I get that all the time too.
Speaker 5 (20:12):
People think I'm so much taller than I am, and
when they see me in person, they're like.
Speaker 4 (20:17):
You're so tiny, You're so tiny.
Speaker 5 (20:19):
And I'm like, get over it. You're like I'm tiny,
Like let's keep it pushing. I'm tiny, we get it. Yes, Well,
my sister's very tiny. She's four eleven and foot.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
That's like me.
Speaker 5 (20:31):
I think I'm five to three, but I really don't know.
I just say five to five because you know that.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
Song five five brown ass. It just works.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
But I'm here to tell you you're definitely not five five. No,
I'm wearing these shoes.
Speaker 5 (20:43):
But you're not taller than me right now, I for
you are not taller than me three. So if you're
five to three, I'm five three and a half.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
Four and about this all the time, smaller than me.
She shorter than me? Well with those shoes, no, but
she shorted in me. Anyways, Well she shorted me too. Okay,
but we have.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
No problem with our hegway.
Speaker 5 (21:07):
No, we don't, you know we have we're five three,
but we have the personality and the attitude of a
six three man.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
Yeah, I mean we got this.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
We're alphas, all right. What else do we need to
dig into? Who was anyone rude to No one was
rude to me.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
Actually, I was best dressed at Elton's party.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Hold on, let me see your outfit.
Speaker 4 (21:39):
You have to see my outfit. Where's my phone?
Speaker 2 (21:41):
How have I not even seen this yet? What were
you favorites?
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Everywhere I was, it was Teddy, where have you been?
Speaker 2 (21:49):
Then? I'm trying to think, my who was your favorite
from last night? Is that me? No?
Speaker 3 (21:55):
Like in general at the Oscars, Oh, they're they're oh, thank.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
You, thank you, thank you for that.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Yeah, well would give me the illusion of having hips.
Speaker 4 (22:04):
Yes, it snatches you in all the right places.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Oh my gosh, you do look super hot.
Speaker 4 (22:09):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Did you go for the dinner portion or just the
after party?
Speaker 4 (22:12):
I went to the after party because I went to
the dinner at direct TV.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Oh so you saw all these I saw?
Speaker 4 (22:18):
It was like a reunion. It was like Bravo con
Yeah it was. I saw Erica, I saw Phaedra, who else? Gurty?
Everybody was there? What's that one from salt Lake?
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Meredith? Everywhere?
Speaker 4 (22:31):
All the time. You know she's working, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
She's well I don't think she lives in Salt Lake,
so she has time to get Oh that's perfect, Oh
my gosh.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
And then what time is your night in Well, first
of all, no one told me that everything in LA
closes early. Yeah. No, So I was on a hunt
for food.
Speaker 5 (22:55):
I drove everywhere trying to find food at eleven thirty
at night.
Speaker 4 (22:59):
Everywhere it's closed.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Oh like a dinner place, like.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
A dinner plate.
Speaker 5 (23:02):
No, I didn't know, So I didn't get in until
like one thirty because I spent forty five minutes driving around.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
I found a place. What place, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (23:11):
I went to eat calamari and pizza and it hit
the spot, went home, showered, went to bed.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
Okay, so you didn't It wasn't like a super late night. No,
no bad decisions, no bad decisions. You didn't start any drama.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
And never start.
Speaker 5 (23:25):
I always finish. Never, that's not my thing. I don't
start drama.
Speaker 4 (23:33):
I feel like.
Speaker 3 (23:36):
I have seen you start drama before, Teddy, name name
name them, name them, name them.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
You know what, I put in.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
A really precarious situation because I get to watch so
many different franchises that now all franchises.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
They're all guilty by association. Yes, yes, but I do
feel like there was a time.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Maybe it was at the table with you and Stanbury
and Sergio.
Speaker 5 (24:05):
Okay, no, she started it, remind me and I had
to finish it.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Okay, but like was he chatting with you? And then
she got pissed.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
Yes, and then she was like, oh, is who's gonna,
you know, suck your girl?
Speaker 4 (24:18):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeah? How did I started? Teddy?
I don't dressed to me.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
I was.
Speaker 5 (24:24):
I was just being cute and seventy four episodes and
past that time friendly and she didn't like it.
Speaker 4 (24:32):
Yeah, but that was her.
Speaker 5 (24:34):
No, he wasn't hitting on me at all. I don't
even remember what we were talking about. But she just
got in her feelings.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Was your husband and his feelings.
Speaker 4 (24:42):
Over the fifty year old influencer? Why would my husband
be in his feelings? Oh? I meant about surgery. Oh no, no, no,
fifty year old influence her. Yeah. By the way, her
facelift looks so good.
Speaker 5 (24:57):
My husband saw her and said, it's given twenty five
year old influencer.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
What is my necklift giving?
Speaker 4 (25:04):
Oh you had a necklift. I can't even tell. It
looks good if you I don't, I can't tell what age?
What age?
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Are you gonna pick me at?
Speaker 4 (25:14):
Twenty one? Teddy?
Speaker 3 (25:15):
No, no, listen, I'm like a lizard drive from the desert,
chap lips exhausted, but.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
I'm here twenty one twenty You know what I think
that I look twenty one, and.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
Then I see myself keep thinking that twenty four year old,
and then I'm like, it's not how you look, it's
how you feel. But remember when you were younger and
you would stand next to like your you would be
with your parents and they'd be like, I'm thirty six,
and you're like, you're they're so old. Yeah, yeah, I'm
older than when I thought my parents were old.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
Yeah, so I'm no. I'm not saying yeah, like I
know you are. I'm saying yeah, no, I get it.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
I mean, are you significantly younger than me?
Speaker 4 (25:54):
How old are you?
Speaker 2 (25:56):
What do you think?
Speaker 4 (25:57):
Twenty one? If you're twenty one, yeah, I'm older than you.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
My guess is that you're thirty five.
Speaker 4 (26:03):
I am in two weeks.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
See, I'm the youngest housewife ever.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
That used to be made. No, not even when you
were on it.
Speaker 5 (26:13):
You were not my age, not in a shady way,
not in a shady way.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
How old were you when you when you started? Thirty six?
Speaker 5 (26:22):
See, I think because I'm forty two now, I started
when I was thirty two.
Speaker 4 (26:26):
Yeah, yeah, I was thirty two when I joined housewives.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Okay, can we get into the miss the crown wearing
which one. Well, like there was like some controversy about
which crown you had. The girls were listen. I have
never got any crown. Nobody ever wanted me to walk anything.
So this isn't me throwing shade. This isn't me just
trying to understand.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
Yea, yeah, people are trying to poke holes.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
And if it's Miss America, Miss World, Miss this, Miss whatever,
explain it to me.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (26:54):
So I won Miss Jamaica in twenty ten, okay, And
I went to represent Jamaica in Miss International, which is
the third largest pageant in the world. So it's Miss Universe,
Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth and then I think
Miss Global.
Speaker 4 (27:08):
If you're in the pageant world, you get it.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (27:11):
So they crowned four queens every year in Jamaica and
I was one of the four, which is huge.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
And would you ever put if if you had a
daughter and.
Speaker 5 (27:20):
One hundred percent one hundred But my husband is so
against it, which is for me. God knows why we
have sons, because I feel like we would fall out.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
Yeah, we would, because.
Speaker 5 (27:29):
You go away that one hundred percent. I feel like
with pageantry you get to network. I mean, I traveled
the world. I competed in China. I've been everywhere through pageantry. Yeah,
you get what they call it elocution lessons.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
But I watched the documentary and there's pros and cons
in every everything.
Speaker 5 (27:48):
I mean yeah, and everything. For me, I had a
positive experience. Like my mom wasn't like the crazy mom.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
She didn't get me with my daughter with riding horses.
I am a crazy person. I'm at the like because
I did it growing up. I'm at the gate and like,
she makes a mistake and I'm like, you know what,
I won't even make eye contact.
Speaker 5 (28:08):
I don't know what kind of pageant mom I would
be being that I've done it before.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
But I feel like pageantry.
Speaker 5 (28:15):
Every little girl, if possible, should do a beauty pageant.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
Yeah, one hundred percent. It helps to build confidence.
Speaker 5 (28:21):
You learn public speaking, you get to network, you know
how to hustle, go out, get sponsors.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
It's do you think you teach me how to walk?
Speaker 4 (28:28):
I could teach you how to walk. You don't know
how to walk, Teddy.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
It's not good. It's not a good.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
Yeah, Okay, we'll do it.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
We'll get see.
Speaker 4 (28:37):
This is why you put your daughters in pageants.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
No, it gives.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
It gives like just got off a horse, might have
a wedgie, uncomfortable, like arms wide doing this, Oh.
Speaker 5 (28:48):
My god, stand very has the funniest walk to If
it's if yours is better than hers, then you're I can't.
I can't imagine it is. Yeah, no, okay, we'll work
on it. We'll work on it.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Okay, So you can make that kind of promise to
me so that by the end of the time together,
I will be able to walk.
Speaker 4 (29:06):
And maybe not in a pageant, but you can walk.
You'll be cute. I can walk.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
I can walk the streets, yes, without being mocked.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
That's what you're saying. Perimetopause is coming in hot I can't.
Maybe not a pageant. Do they have passions for someone
of my maturity?
Speaker 4 (29:28):
They have pageants that go up to every age.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
That actually frightens me.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
It frightens me.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
It worries me. For the forty year old that's like,
you know what I'm gonna worries me.
Speaker 5 (29:39):
It worries me for this seventy year olds who still
do pageants.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
It does.
Speaker 5 (29:44):
But you know what, to each is their own. If
that's your thing, that's just your thing. It also worries me,
you know, people doing other things that they shouldn't be doing.
Speaker 2 (29:53):
Very true.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
Yeah, all right, let's get into just regular life stuff.
Speaker 4 (30:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (30:08):
Number one marriage advice topic that you would get like
what is your one piece? Like what's the hardest part
of your marriage and what's the best part.
Speaker 5 (30:18):
So the best part is how we communicate. So my
husband and I have been together for twelve years and
I don't think we've ever really had like a screaming match.
And I'll tell you not that we don't get mad
at each other, but I feel like.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
We have the fighter and who's the one that makes up.
Speaker 5 (30:35):
So I'm the fighter and I'm the one that makes
up ah both because he can he knows if you
fight with me, I can't go to sleep mad. So
what he'll do is he'll go downstairs, go on the
couch or go in the guest room and not come upstairs.
And he knows I can't fall asleep that way.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
No, that's my husband. My husband calls me pte W
the paranoid white.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
Yeah, because he's yeah, he's like, at some point you're
gonna give in.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
Yeah, that's me. That's literally me.
Speaker 5 (31:05):
So I'm the one that starts to drama and I'm
the one that has to fix it always, always, always, always.
Speaker 4 (31:10):
But the way we.
Speaker 5 (31:11):
Communicate is my favorite favorite thing. I can talk to
him about everything. He knows all about my exits, he
knows everything about everything. Yeah, I'm the same way, and
he talks to me about everything as well. And when
we do get mad, we actually just talk it out,
you know, or we go silent and then we talk
it out.
Speaker 4 (31:29):
But I feel like the way we communicate.
Speaker 5 (31:31):
To me is my favorite favorite thing because I grew
up seeing my parents shouting at each other and I
cannot do that, and I don't like to yell, and
I don't like to be yelled at. And I think
where I also want to say something to me, you
can never take it back.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
Yeah, yeah, if you're like I'm yea, then great.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
We are saying same, same, same, same you want to
say that, yeah, And I think for us.
Speaker 5 (31:56):
I think our weakness would probably have to be I
don't know the whole. He just needs to leave me
alone and let me shop.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
Listen, it's not even shopping for me, it's Amazon.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
Listen.
Speaker 5 (32:11):
Leave me alone and let me shop, and that includes Amazon.
I need to get shares in Amazon, because at this point,
I feel like like what is going on?
Speaker 3 (32:21):
I also I have something to take up with the amex,
like stop notifying him, Like I don't need you to
notify him. When I'm purchasing Rivers birthday gift for next Sunday.
Speaker 2 (32:35):
Yeah, he's like, what do you need from Amazon? That
was thirty one ninety.
Speaker 5 (32:39):
When you have to get the OTP code, that's the
worst one.
Speaker 4 (32:43):
That's the worst one.
Speaker 5 (32:44):
When I have to call him and be like, Hi,
what's what's the four digit code?
Speaker 4 (32:48):
What is this for Lisa? Something for the kids?
Speaker 5 (32:53):
No, it's almost like it's always for the kids, for
them more than I shop for my staff.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
But I'm not fine versus on Amazon.
Speaker 3 (33:04):
That's but like he's the one that's like says like
probably generic Lamaire face for like products from Amazon.
Speaker 2 (33:12):
He's like, can you get me new la Maire. I'm like,
I one, it comes and it's like open.
Speaker 4 (33:18):
I'm like, let's go, let's do it.
Speaker 5 (33:20):
But that's hilarious every Yeah, if I feel like that's
what we fight about the most, Lisa's shopping.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
But you know, if you would just let that slide,
we'll be good. Yeah. I don't I don't like.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
Also, my husband doesn't check his calendar, so our kids
are all in sports where all it's like everybody's all
hands on.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Yeag.
Speaker 3 (33:39):
We have people that help, like we have I have
a mommy's helper. There's everybody is somewhere. There's either volleyball
or riding or football or like a birthday party, there's something.
And I'll be like, what's the plan for Saturday, And
I'm like, it's in the calendar.
Speaker 5 (33:55):
Like Lisi acts, my husband just expects me to be
doing all of it.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
I'm like all of it. I'm like, you, well, I don't.
Speaker 3 (34:02):
He doesn't even expect me to be doing all of it. Yeah,
but he expects me to like walk him through it.
And I'm like, no, it's all in the calendar. You
will You're able to attend to any one of the
four events that we have occurring, but I cannot talk
you through it.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
Yeah. No.
Speaker 5 (34:20):
My husband is complete opposite. He's like, oh, yeah, the
kids have things to do. Oh that's great, enjoy yeah yeah, yeah,
see you guys on the weekend.
Speaker 3 (34:27):
Yeah, we're more of a weekend together, except like when
we have to.
Speaker 5 (34:32):
But he is very hands on. Though I have to say,
he's super, super hands on with the boys. Thank god,
we don't have a girl because they're just they just
do boys stuff, you know, And I'm such a girly girl.
I don't know how I ended up with three sons.
But yeah, he's super hands on. They love soccer, they
do that's their thing.
Speaker 4 (34:50):
And yeah, I just have a favorite.
Speaker 5 (34:52):
I actually don't, genuinely, on god, I do not have
a favorite child because they each have something that I love,
and they each have something that I noise the shit
out of me. So it's almost so difficult, you know,
to have a favorite. There's not none of them are perfect,
so I can't have a favor. Maybe when they're older
and maybe they you know, they're real.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
Characters and personality kick in.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
I will, so clearly I have a favorite.
Speaker 4 (35:20):
I have three, and boys love their mom No.
Speaker 3 (35:23):
Like, he comes in every morning, gives the best hugs
in it, Like there's no one that gives a better
hug than my son. But then now he's too cool,
and so.
Speaker 5 (35:32):
Then I'm like, can't kiss in public? Oh you even
kiss them on the lips?
Speaker 2 (35:36):
Nothing?
Speaker 4 (35:37):
Yeah, And then no, but how old do you think?
Because I don't know, I had this whole argument, and
my husband was like, yeah, but they're right. He's turning ten.
Speaker 5 (35:45):
Of course he doesn't want you to kiss him on
the mouth, like it's weird, And I'm like, how is
it weird?
Speaker 4 (35:49):
I'm his mom?
Speaker 3 (35:50):
All right, So you head to Miami. You have to
pick one lady from Miami that you'd hang out with.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
Is it going to be Is it going to be Girty?
Speaker 4 (35:57):
Because you know what, No, no, no, it's not.
Speaker 5 (35:59):
I love Girty and we always have the best time,
so naturally I would go with her. So I'm gonna
not choose her because naturally I would go with her because.
Speaker 4 (36:06):
That's my girl.
Speaker 5 (36:07):
But if I had to choose someone else besides her,
it would probably be Alexia.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
Ah.
Speaker 4 (36:14):
I love her, She's so fun.
Speaker 5 (36:16):
I think we have similar taste in fashion, and yeah,
she's a Cuban doll.
Speaker 4 (36:20):
And I'm the Jamaican Barbie. Yeah, barbenough to.
Speaker 2 (36:24):
Go around who stirs upot the most of the season.
Speaker 5 (36:28):
In my cast, I would have to say the new
girl Toelene. Yes, I think so, I think so. And
she's married, she's married?
Speaker 2 (36:40):
How many kids? Does she have?
Speaker 4 (36:41):
Two girls?
Speaker 2 (36:42):
What are their names?
Speaker 4 (36:43):
Don't ask me that. Wait, I do know it. Listen
if Talen's watching this.
Speaker 5 (36:50):
She called max Constantine the other day and I'm like,
how do you get Constantine from Maximilian?
Speaker 2 (36:56):
You know, so both very formal names.
Speaker 5 (36:59):
You think, no, it's so way off. So she will
not kill me that. I think it's gig and CC
GG and CC. I think, so, okay, gig and CC.
All right, you shaded Chary a little bit, bravo.
Speaker 4 (37:14):
Con. I don't think she's forgiven me.
Speaker 3 (37:16):
By the way, asking if she was wearing Alexander shean
mcshean yeah.
Speaker 5 (37:22):
She said she was wearing Alexander McQueen. Yes, And I asked,
Alexander McQueen or Alexander mcshean, yeah, Which which was it?
Speaker 2 (37:30):
Well? Which was it?
Speaker 4 (37:32):
You know what? To this day, I really don't know.
Speaker 2 (37:34):
But the way how well she was a onesie, I
don't know.
Speaker 5 (37:37):
I can't remember what she was wearing. I just remember
her limping across the seat and.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
Just being mad.
Speaker 5 (37:42):
She was so mad, and I'm like, girl, it was
fun shade lighting up. You've been you know, you've been
around the block for a long time.
Speaker 4 (37:50):
You know, fun shade.
Speaker 3 (37:52):
People can make fun of my clothes all day long.
If people only made fun of my clothes, I'd be thrilled.
I'd be like, I am life, I am terrible at
everything else. Any regrets from this season anything you want
to spell.
Speaker 5 (38:09):
No regrets. I don't live my life in regrets. And I
know that's so cliche. Everybody's like, I don't live I
learned from my whatever. But genuinely, no regrets from this season.
I feel like everything happened as it should have.
Speaker 4 (38:21):
And you know, now I know people's true colors. Who's
your best friend myself?
Speaker 2 (38:28):
No, No, for a moment.
Speaker 5 (38:33):
At the moment, I don't know. I'm cool with everybody,
but some more than others.
Speaker 4 (38:38):
Yeah, I can't give it to you because you'll know,
you'll know.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
But like, who is the person that you text when
you need?
Speaker 4 (38:46):
Okay, so listen to this. I'll tell you this.
Speaker 5 (38:49):
The person I text maybe the most in the group
is probably Tyleen, the new girl. But I didn't get
along with her that well on the show. But we've
grown since then. They shot our show a long time ago. Yeah,
I leave it there.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
I leave it the Teddy. No, you gotta tune in June.
Speaker 5 (39:06):
