Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hi, guys, this is Teddy Mellencamp and I'm joined by
my friend Emily Simpson for our new spinoff show, Popping Off,
where we are digging deep on this season of vander
Pump Rules.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Hi guys, welcome to Popping Off with Emily Simpson, and
Teddy is not in today, so my co host will be.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Your favorite person of all time.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
I knew that she would introduce herself that way. I
was just waiting. That's why I just pause. You are
my favorite person of all time. Thank you for filling in.
I appreciate it. And by the way, thank you for
doing it last minute. I think we were like texting
you yesterday like please fill in.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Yes, that's what best friends are for.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Boo, now you will be right. I do all right, happy, Well,
thank you. Okay, let's start with the headlines. First of all,
it's the twenty twenty four VPR reunion looks. They are
here and at Queens of Bravo posted the looks. So Gina,
since you're such a fashion icon, thank you, thank you.
What do you think I I mean? First, let's go
(01:06):
with Arianna and Katie. Arianna definitely likes the skin showing
look like she's got like the whole mesh thing going on.
Speaker 4 (01:15):
But totally I'm just pulling it up because there was
an updated one. Okay, my Actually my favorite was Katie.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
I know me too. I like the silver.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
She looked really beautiful.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
And elegant, and I really like and appreciate her like
Edgier style, but this was a way that I have
not seen her look. Yeah, I was very surprised by it.
Pleasantly surprised by it. I thought, she's like beautiful. Let's
be honest. The women in vander Pumkast, they were all stunning. Absolutely,
they really can't, you know. But but I do think
(01:49):
that I was the most surprised by Katie.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
And I do feel like Lala's stunningly beautiful woman.
Speaker 4 (01:56):
But I feel like I would have expected a little
bit more of a bang.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
From La La, but she's like more sex appeal, more showing.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
It just was a little it was very like late
and feminine for her, So that was very interesting.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
I do like Sheena's gold. She looks like a golden
Globe award.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
She does.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Yeah, like the Statue of Liberty a bit very real.
All right, Great, the man look great.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
I mean they look like I like that James looks
like he's ready for Easter love.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
He looks like he does he does look like a peep. Yeah,
he's a pastel peep peep. Yeah, all right. Vander Pump
Villa Cass says there show isn't vander Pump Rules. A
Business Insider article states, Lisa vander Pump tells Business Insider,
when we created vander Pump Rules, it was about an
existing group of friends. This isn't that and vander Pump Villa.
(02:58):
No one except for Hannah and Mark knew each other
before being thrown together to create travel memories for extremely
wealthy travelers. Viewers are comparing Hannah and Marciano to Jax
and Stacy in the early seasons of vander Pump Rules. However,
Hannah and Marciano believe their relationship is completely different. Marciano,
(03:18):
for his part, says he's totally embracing the comparison, calling
Saucy and Jacks two of the most iconic characters in
VPR history. Number one guy in the group. I'll take that,
Marciano jokes, referencing Jack's often quoted line from season four,
and she's Queen Bee absolutely so. Anyway, we'll get into
(03:38):
that more because we're going to recap the villa in
a little bit, so we'll get more into the Marciana
and Hannah of it all. But I don't know, what
do you think about saying the two most iconic characters
in VPR history? What do you think?
Speaker 4 (03:51):
I mean, I jack that I do think that Jackson
Saucy definitely hold weight.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
I mean even today, they haven't.
Speaker 4 (03:58):
Been on the showing years and yet you say that
name and they're directly linked to vander Pump associated with it,
and now with the you know, the revamping with the Valley,
I mean, they are making you know, waves and headlines
even now today, years and years later. So like, I
certainly think that they paid their dues and they're iconic.
(04:19):
I don't know if Marciano and Hannah I think we're
going there yet.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
I agree, I don't know if they've I don't know
if they've earned that title yet. I mean, you've been
on the show for two minutes, right, like, maybe take
take a little seat just for a minute.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Emily didn't even remember your name yet. I was like,
but I also do feel that it's more uh that
will be claimed more by Marciano. He's definitely, you know,
the he wants that. He's clearly not going to be
mad about that comparison. But I want to know what
we're raiding them on, too, Like what is iconic because.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
What I saw it so far exactly, don't know if
that's an iconic.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Man, I don't know. I do. I have to say that.
I don't care what Jax does. I find him entertaining
in all for sure, absolutely all right. Ariana Maddox is
the new host of Love Island USA after Sarah Hyland's exit.
It was in a People article Ariana Maddox is making
her way to the villa. Peacock announced on Friday that
(05:19):
the Vanner Pump Rules star thirty eight I like how
they put ages in there thirty eight is officially taking
over as a host of Love Island USA season six
following Sarah Hyland's departure. Maddox also confirmed the news in
a video on her Instagram, captioning the clip see you
in the Villa for an all news season of Love
Island USA hosted by me. All Right, I don't know.
(05:40):
I don't watch Love Island. Do you watch those things?
Speaker 1 (05:42):
No?
Speaker 4 (05:42):
But I love Sarah Hyland. I was curious if her
exit was on good terms, Like did was she ready
to go and they had to replease her?
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Or did Arianna come in and take that job?
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Like is there some shit? She came in and she
took it. She was like taken everything, every endorsement out there,
every hosting job is now mine. And then I'm gonna
tell you, Palm Standaval ruined my life, but I'm going
to take every job possible.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
I think he he.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
Made her life exceptional. I mean, in all honesty, look
at this girl.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Go my god. I mean, it.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Doesn't happen everybody, because I got fucked over years ago
and I had three small children and nobody's giving me
a hosting job.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
So what the hell you guys?
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Gina is still bitter about this. I hear about this
all bitter. And also they said, uh so, I guess
Sarah had a conflicting job. That's why she's not.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
Busy. Problem.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
Yes, yeah, she's got too many offers out there. So
Arianna swooped in and now she will be the host.
VPRs James Kennedy apologizes for the sloppy Joe merch. The
US Weekly articles stated after fans called the merch crull
a big miss and Me. Kennedy posted an Instagram story
(07:02):
featuring girlfriend Ali Luber, who apologized for his actions. Kennedy
also apologized, Okay, I didn't see this Instagram post, but
was Ali? Did you see it?
Speaker 1 (07:11):
No?
Speaker 3 (07:11):
This when I actually had no idea. I had no
idea on this one.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
So was Ali just speaking on his behalf and he's
in the background. I'm not sure how that worked.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
But I don't know. I don't even under I don't
even know what he did.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
I haven't seen that. I have not seen anything hit
yet with that. But what I can say is like
I do find James Kennedy. I appreciate his comedy, like
I do think he's funny, and I think, like I
would just say, not knowing the context of this, sometimes
you go for the joke because you can't help it,
and you want to go for the joke and you're
not going to hit the mark every time.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
So I like it.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
You know, let me give you, let me give you
a little background, because yeah, because he says sorry about
my sloppy James, I did not approve this message or
the T shirt Ali began in the clip, So I
guess Ali's apologizing.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
Yeah, I'm saying she didn't approve of it.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
She didn't approve the T shirt. I already boosted the
post show, so I can't delete it. I like that
he blames it on Instagram. I'm sorry, guy, I don't
know how to delete it, but I'm sorry. And I
love Joe. Nothing against her. The DJ added, I just
thought it was a funny joke. I'll split the dough
with Joe. That's what the T shirt should say, I'll
split the dough. So Joe is kind of like I
(08:22):
don't know Schwartz's love interests. I don't know if we
want to go that far and say that, but they so,
her name's Joe, and they were doing a sandwich tasting
and Kennedy made a reference to like, Schwortz likes the
sloppy Joe, so it was taking a dig. But I mean,
you know, Joe's a little quirky, so she's got an
interesting personality. But I get it. It's taking a shot
(08:46):
at someone, and kind of, you know, I don't know,
it's just taking a shot at someone. I don't know.
If someone made a T shirt that had my name
on it and they could sell it, I'd be like,
that's amazing as long as you check this point right.
So we'll see if he actually splits the dough with Joe.
That's definitely a follow up. We'll see.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Vander Pump Rules star La La Camp by three point
one Los Angeles home. It was in a TMZ article.
La La Camp has taken the plunge and became the
latest vander Pump Rules star to plunk down roots in
the San Fernando Valley. TMZ has learned she splashed out
over three million on a stunning new home. According to
real estate records obtained by TMZ, La La sealed the
(09:25):
deal on the pad last month, So now she's living
it up in a gated estate with five bedrooms, three
and a half maths, and over five thousand square feet
of living space. Okay, my first thought when I read
this is that you and I are.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
On the wrong fucking show, I know, or like, is
she support? What is that?
Speaker 2 (09:42):
I don't know? I was like, how do we do
a crossover? Can we do like vander Pump Rules the
Senior Years or something.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
Seriously senior years on the scene age as then.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Oh, that's right, I forget all the time that they
are actually close in age, Like I know Tom Sandval's
forty one and I'm only forty eight. I was like, hey,
we're actually in the same age group. I keep thinking
of them as like young kids that work at a bar,
but we're literally the same age.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
He's older than me, and he's probably making more money
than me at all.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Probably yes, he's gonna buy yeah, because he Well, I
assume I assume that La La was also able to
buy a house, because I know her merch is done
really well, Like I her send it to Darryl. Darryl,
her send it to Darryl.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
So I'm happy for Lala.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
I think it is for you.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
Lala.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
You get your big fucking house man, you get your house.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
Fucking get that square footage girl.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
All right, so here we go. Let's get into the
recap of Vanner Popper Rules Season eleven, episode ten. All Right,
we start out with Brock. I actually like Brock.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Love Brock.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
I do too.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Bro He's the only one who is making sense.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
He yes, and that's he's not even it's even a
full time cast member. It's even getting paid.
Speaker 3 (11:15):
No, because he's a stay at home dad.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Right, the stay at home mom he's not in the intro.
He's probably not making any money, and.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
Bruns are appreciated, underpaid, he's underrated Brock.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Okay, there he does say he gets paid. Who knows.
I just know he's not buying a three point one
million dollar home anywhere. So literally, but Brock's doing a lot.
So Brock doesn't know what Plato is. Shorts and Joe
are juicing a pineapple, and Katie, La La and Ali
are doing an outdoor workout. I do appreciate Katie's non
commitment to working out. It reminds me of you.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Yeah, I was literally like that's me and you're La La. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Absolutely, But I love that he doesn't know what Plato
is and she's like, don't you a Plato in New Zealand?
And he's like, we have mud and I was like, yeah,
that reminds me of like how I grew up, Like
I didn't have toys. We played with mud and dirt
and like I don't know sticks, So.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
We had Plato, but I used to eat it.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
I'm sure you did. That explains a lot. At this point,
Ann shows up to Ariana in Sandoval's house, ready to
interview for the position to be Ariana's assistant. Okay, let
me ask you your opinion on this. I know that
when we were filming a show, a lot of times
production is involved and they send you places. But Anne
working for Tom Standibal but then showing up in the
(12:35):
kitchen at Tom Sandival's home, knowing that Tom is there
to interview for a position to be Arian's assistant, is
like the messiest thing I've seen in a while.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
I mean, I'll tell you what Ann is going to
end up being collateral damage to that breakup for sure?
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Is that what you're foresee in this?
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Yeah? Because I just think it's like it's messy.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
And we know this when people break up and they
have to vy up all their stuff that you can't
cross over and that's not even something that they share
that they have.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
To redefine and split up.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
So why and why makes something more messy and complicated
than your current situation already? Is?
Speaker 3 (13:16):
It just makes no sense today, right?
Speaker 2 (13:18):
And why are you interviewing her in the kitchen? Why? Like,
if you're going to interview her and you're going to
poach his assistant, at least go to Starbucks, like you're
doing it in the kitchen while he's there and he's
literally listening to the interview.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
And if she is there, then also maybe side note,
have her clear out that litter box real quick, because
it doesn't seem like anyone's fucking doing it.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Let's be honest.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Anne has the task of picking up Sandival's dirty underwear,
but a perk of her job is going to get
the car washed and being able to stop to get
French fries at a drive through. I mean, if that
is the perk of your job, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
I don't know, but you know what.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
At the same time, I mean, they're trying to make
it like she is his like that comes with the
terrige rate, like when you hire somebody at home, Like
I just feel.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
Like they're one a catch all and part.
Speaker 4 (14:08):
Of that could be as long as you define those
duties at the beginning. I don't think there's anything wrong
that if part of it is laundry or cleaning up
after you know him or whatever. I mean, you have
to define what those duties are and then that's what
part of your job is. If you don't want to
do that, then you can say that up front.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
But I feel like she could draw the line at
the dirty underwear. I mean, she can do it. She
could be like, look, pick up your own damn underwear.
I have to pick up all your other crap.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
But to look out, it just sounds like they're really sloppy.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
Right, they're both orders and they're sloppy and they leave
shit everywhere, and then Anne has to come in and
clean it. That's her job description. And she's highlight, right,
That's why the highlight of her day is just getting
her car washed.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
She's fired and not hired by Arianna do. I thought
that was the best part. I was like, this girl
now lives. He's in purgatory. Yeah, I had no jobs,
so many prospects.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Right, Shorts shows up to Shena and Bron's house. He
gives them a plant and gives Summer Moon a giant
hat that says do not disturb. Schwortz feels like his
biological clock is ticking. He knows he'd be a good
dad and that's what he wants. I don't know that
was a cute scene. I mean, I love that hot
with that do not disturb, And I do think we
call him Schwartz. We again know that his name is Schwartz,
(15:26):
but we just changed it to shorts. It's just easier
to say. But I do think he would be a
good dad.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
I like Tom Schwartz.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
I do too.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
I find him to be very endearing. His hair is
always a mess, He's always kind of sloppy looking. He
looks like he just kind of rolled out of bed
and found some clothes on the floor and put them on.
They don't really match, they're all regold, but he and
he's always like trying to bring people together, but then
he backs out of it because he's like, I don't
want to be involved. I don't know. I find him
endearing though.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
I think that he is obviously not perfect. He has
been perfect, you know, with his marriage and everything with Katie.
But I find him to also treat Katie with respect
even when she's not, maybe choosing things that are the
most respectful. And I'm not this isn't. I like Katie too,
but I just like that. I just like that he
(16:17):
respects her even now after they're married. I think they
actually have the best the fact that they can coexist
and fuck each other's friends, yes and it's still.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
And then compliment each other on their outfits or make
fun of their outfits or whatever.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
When he went in on her outfit. I was like, Oh,
this might be where it ends.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
This might be where it ends. But they got through it.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
They got through it, they did. Arianna visits Katie and
tells her about the interview with Anne. After the interview ended,
standival came down hard on Ann, and Arianna found her
crying in the kitchen. Katie feels like a lot of
people's privacy has been invaded recently, especially her night with
Max being exposed and Sheena exposed it or Brock was
the one who actually exposed it. I just want to know.
(17:04):
There's no footage of Anne crying or Tom talking to Anne,
so I feel like we don't know exactly what went down.
Even if he confronted her and he wasn't a jerk
about it, She's probably crying because she's like in this
weird position where she just had an interview in the
kitchen for another job with his ex. I mean, it's
(17:24):
it's sloppy when you're mentioning that it happens.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
Really messy, and to your point, like, what did she
think was going to happen? You had the girl come
to your home to interviewer when your ex is upstair,
like the whole situation is so bad, like this, poor car.
I mean, I need help so and I get along
great with my ex.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
So if Anne wants to come on.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Down to Orange County, you know, I will you with
open arms.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
We will ask her because because right now I don't
even know what her employment status is. It seems like
it's uh, it's vague and up in the air right now.
So it is.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
Yes, yeah, but that does messy.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
And if you're listening, Gina needs help, I do yes,
and I won't make you cry.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
That's awesome.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Oh Anne has a podcast now, so good for her. Yeah,
it's I wonder if she's giving up all the all
the things that didn't she sign an NDA or her
podcast is something about like I signed an NDA.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
But well that's good because honestly, that's the messiest part
about it, right, It's like she knows so much about Tom.
Speaker 3 (18:27):
I don't know why.
Speaker 4 (18:28):
I know why Arianna would want to hire her, especially
going through like a legal split and whatnot, because it's
like a direct line to information.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
It's a very smart play.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
But I understand also why Tom wouldn't want that, Like
you're trying to separate that's just pulling you more together.
I mean, Ariana just has a lot of anger there.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Clearly, right, I mean there's some hypocrisy there, which we
will get to later in this recount. Right, So, back
at Shena and Brock's house, we find out Brock's been
in the doghouse for the news about Max and Katie.
We get a flashback to a year ago when Katie
outwardly wished for Shina's world to burn. I was like,
damn girl, that was a lot. Yeah, so I guess. So,
(19:13):
I don't know if you saw the episode before. Sena
has an app. I didn't even know about this. This
is how old I am that I didn't even know
you could have an app where you can keep track
of like where all the where people are. Do they
share their location? I guess that's all it works. Do
you have that?
Speaker 4 (19:26):
I know, like Tot Tot tracks me and there's like yeah,
but when I went on it most recently, they were
like people tracking me from like my past that like
should not have been trapped.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
It's on my phone. So if I went on my
phone right now, I could find it and I could
see if I'm sharing it.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
Yeah, Yeah, that's how you do it and you share
your location and then you can either share it just
for that time or you can share it like indefinitely.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Okay, I need to look into this.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
It is good like a sheine's out, you know, and
you don't know, like it's just good to know timing
of when people are coming, or like you should definitely
be tracking me.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
Yeah, I should know where you are at all times. Absolutely,
it's at home eating snacks. It's right here, Yeah, that's
where you are. But so what do you think about
Katie having sex with Max, who apparently is Schwartz's best friend.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
I just think that when you want to stand on
a soapbox, you can't get off of it, you know,
and it's really a hard thing to do. I understand
that to have like that higher moral ground, like it's
it's not the easiest thing. And people think assume like, oh,
you're just better than River.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
It's hard to stand.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Up on that soapbox for that long and it's hard
to stand up on that, you know, whatever platform you
got to do it though, or yeah she did, she
did exactly what Schwartz was saying is like Katie were
the same and it was very satisfying for him, and.
Speaker 3 (20:56):
It's the truth. It's like, look, if you're going to
make the rules, you got to.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
Play by exactly. So my question is, though, was it
just a one night standing. Have they not spoken since
or do they talk to Have they had sex since then?
I don't know. We'll find out. Jaie doesn't think she
should feel bad for sleeping with Max. It's not like
they had an agreement and Shorts has done her dirty
time and time again. That's what we talked about. So
(21:21):
James and Ally are hosting the water tasting party at
their house. I don't know, you're sober, so what do
you think about a water tasting party? It sounded like
I was like, does water taste different?
Speaker 4 (21:31):
I mean, I'm not I'm sober, but I'm not healthy.
I don't drink water that.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
I were doing a.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
Red Bull right exactly? I am What did I think
it was?
Speaker 4 (21:43):
James Kennedy's like a more of a Coca Cola red
Bull kind of eye.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
That's me.
Speaker 4 (21:48):
But I have heard about this because I know. Also,
Zac Efron did a whole docu series that I watched
and he had like a water like whatever they are,
I guess like a Somalia and do the whole thing.
So like they're apparently like the Travis got some crazy
ass water filtration system in my house. You could really
(22:08):
drink out of the bathtubs, and so I like to
tell people that, but I'm I definitely, I'm not even
drinking any of this water, So.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
I don't know. It sounded like to me water all
tastes the same, so I don't know. But anyway, so
Martin the water connoisseur, starts off the tasting by saying
the water he's brought could be dinosaur piss. I guess
that was saying that's how old it is. I didn't
really get that.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
How does that make that appealing?
Speaker 2 (22:33):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
He needs to work on the marketing.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
The first class of water tastes like and shl loved it.
I was like, oh my gosh, it sounds like amazing water, Like,
sign me up for that. It's horri flying right. Next
is a thousand dollars bottle of water and it's the
only bottle of its kind in the United States, and
they open it and drink it. So I don't know
(22:58):
what makes it a thousand dollars bottle of water. I
don't know. I just picture like in Vegas, like if
you get a table at a club but you're sober,
they like bring that out with the girls with the fire,
you know, and they're like, here's your thousand dollars bottle
of water.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
So yeah, I mean, I guess it's like in a
way though it's equivalent to a thousand dollars bottle of
wine or something, but you don't you're not sort of
with a hangover the next morning, so it is like
a gift. But I'm not paying a thousand dollars for
anything that I can get out of the sink exactly.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
That's exacting the girls are talking about the a situation.
Laala brings up the obvious issue and is the mediator.
No lawyer is going to do what they've been forcing
and to do, which I agree. I love Lala because
La Lala reminds me of me sometimes, where she just
she might not be in the middle of everything all
(23:50):
the time, but she'll just say something and it's like
she's the voice of reason, like that's the obvious issue,
her reality.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
Yes, and I also think that you like her because
I think that although Lawa is not a lawyer, Lala has.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
Been through all some legal shits in her life, and
I think that when you.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
Do, like I've gone through like a lot of legal
stuff too, you do start to like have more of
a legal brain. So she definitely is thinking that way
of like what is the path of least resistance for
all of you? What is going to make your life
easier versus harder? And like what's the best decision here?
And I feel like that's how you think too, so
that like you would have.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Said that, yeah, because to me, that's the obvious issue
if you're using Anne as a mediator so that you
could go up and down the stairs like they right,
Like Arianna won't come into the kitchen if Tom's in
the kitchen, So what are you gonna do? You're gonna
call your lawyer every time that you want to go
to the kitchen.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
Even Yeah, I just think first of all, I just
think Anne has to get the fuck out of there.
It's just sinking, fucking shit, and get the fuck out.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
While you carried, Katie and Shorts start talking about Max
Rachel and the issues that ultimately sim for their from
their messed up marriage. Shortz thinks Katie's a fuck up
after her hookup with Max. He tries to come to
(25:14):
a truce with Katie, saying they should get dinner, which
she immediately turns down. I don't know. I love that
he just like extended an olive branch and he was like,
why don't we just go have dinner together. I think
they should. I don't know, maybe they could forge a friendship.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
I think that Katie and Schwartz are gonna end up
back together.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Oh that's your prediction. I do.
Speaker 4 (25:34):
I really do, because I the way they interact and
the way that they really are both. Even though they
are like kind of fucking each other over in certain
instances or like not making the right decisions they do,
they are kind to each other. Like I could just
feel like there's something there. And I feel like if
they met now in their life, yeah, they would hit
(25:54):
it off, and I feel like their relationship would look
very different. It's like they got it out of their
system while that bull shit from the past, and now
they're ready to meet their person.
Speaker 3 (26:03):
But I kind of feel like they are each other's person.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
I kind of agree with that. I like their interactions
and you know, I know Schwartz said earlier he wanted
to have a baby, so you know, you know, yeah,
maybe Katie will have baby fever soon too, and then
it just works out.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
Yeah. I mean she's got to because she's got it.
These ladies got to get on it.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
I know, I pictured them in their twenties and then
I realized they're not no Like I.
Speaker 4 (26:28):
Just had my first mammogram and I'm a teenage as them.
Speaker 3 (26:31):
So you right, babies, they got to get on it.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Arian is now telling the boys about what happened with
Ann right in front of Sandoval. She refers to him
as the attempted dog murderer, and this causes a massive fight.
Sandoval leaves the party. La La has the exact same
opinion as we did last week. It is Sandoval's fault
for going into Arigana's room, but it is disgusting that
she left take out there in the first place. You know,
(26:57):
that whole scene really bothered me. I thought she was
completely out of line. I thought she was completely out
of control. I don't know what was your thought. I mean,
he didn't even raise his voice. He just like walks by,
trying to get like a piece of pizza without anybody
noticing him. His kids really trying to like stay under
the radar and not cause any problems. And he's like
tiptoeing around her.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
He is, he's trying his best. He understands that he's
the asshole in this entire situation. It makes everybody uncomfortable.
It's really hard for them just to exist in one
room period. Clearly, Areata is wrong and she's taking it
way too far. And the easiest way to not have
your dog poisoned by food is to throw out your food, right,
(27:40):
basic level shit. And I think that like my dog
got everybody like somebody said it, they were like, this
happens to every dog all neople. Was a counter surfer
and he got on Luca's birthday an entire Ribi.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Steak and then a chocolate cake.
Speaker 4 (27:54):
And I didn't even I was like, we're going to
wait till the morning because I have three kids and
they're expensive, so we're not running to the vet, like
we're just going to.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
Ride this out.
Speaker 4 (28:03):
But I do think that I obviously also understand why
Arianna is so irrational, because she still has so much
anger from what happened to her that she is not
processed out. It is not healthy for her to be
around that man at all. It is certainly not healthy
for them to be sharing a home together, and it's
(28:25):
not in her best interest because that's not a good
look for her.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
That's not her being rational or being over it.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
No, and I you know, we talked about this earlier.
The pinnacle in a relationship when you've broken up is
where you're indifferent, and she is nowhere near indifferent. She
has so much rage for him that it comes out
with him just walking by, like trying to eat a
pizza cheese pizza, and she she loses it.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
It's bad. It is so bad, very entertaining. I was
like sweating, I.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
Know, I was like going up.
Speaker 4 (29:05):
The most offensive part of that entire scene for me
was the fact that everybody kept asking for the ranch
for their pizza, because it's like, like so bad.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
As a New Yorker, I'm like for the ranch.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
I know. I like how they even like did they
like go out run out the door to try to
find the pizza guy to like get the.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Ranch, and it was like, please just let it go.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
Well, I don't think that was New York style pizza.
That was probably like Dominoes or something anyway, So I
think it deserves ranch.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
Oh needs it.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Sandoval, Shorts, and Kyle are at dinner. Sandoval wants to
go to a singles night with Shorts. Sandoval claims Katie's
a hypocrite and likes to slut shame women. We get
a flashback of all the times Katie has called other
girls whores. I love a good flashback or and that
was a good one. There was a lot of there
was a lot of slut shaving in there.
Speaker 3 (29:58):
There was you're a horror, You're a horr You're a horror.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
Yeah, uh so that was I like that, And I
mean he's right she, I mean that was pretty hypocritical.
What do you think about Santamal and Shorts being single
at the same time though, and going for a singles night?
I mean, is that in trouble?
Speaker 3 (30:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (30:18):
I mean it's probably nothing good there. I don't know,
but maybe not. I just well, I think the problem.
I think they should stay single until they're really ready
to make a commitment. So like go ahid go be playboys,
like go do whatever you want. I never understood why
guys like that that clearly need to get all of
this out of their system also find themselves in monogamous
(30:41):
relationships like just be a.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
Playboy, right, like Tom Samuel is probably not the kind
of guy that should have ever been in a tamer
relationship with the same person like that him.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
No, and if you're not like advancing that or getting
married or like, it's clear that the writing was on
the wall like the whole time, and he went into
that relationship already on weird sheety terms because he was
dating that Christian girl.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
Right, and then he cheated with all good No.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
Right, that's I never understood stood why that doesn't get
brought up more like it's very odd to me.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
I know you would think that that would be a
main contributing factor and why the relationship probably didn't work out.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
But well, like like why I just don't get why
so surprised And I don't get why so angry when
it's done to you when you did it to someone else.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
Yeah, and you're on notice of the kind of guy
he is, Like he cheated on someone else to be
with you, so he showed.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
You right at the beginning exactly.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
James, Alli, Lisa, and James Mom are out for dinner.
James and Allie tell Lisa all the tea regarding hippie
Arianna and Sandoval and Katie and Max, and her confessional
Lisa admits she's heard Max is blessed. I guess blessed
is just keyword for Max as a big pp Yes,
(32:04):
So I don't know. I guess that's why women like
to sleep with them.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
I just feel like that's not There's a lot of
men in LA who are probably blessed, so I'm not
I don't believe that that's truly the reason why she
chose this one man who happens to be best friends
with her ex husband, right, because she don't get best
friends like get better friends though, like you're now said
to sleep with Travis, I'm.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
Never going to sleep with sen like that should be.
Speaker 4 (32:32):
You should stop calling that referring to that person as
your best friend when they just slept with your.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
Ex wess wife, right.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
You know, though, if you did sleep with Shane though
I've thought about this, if you can make that happen,
I could get every endorsement there. I would be on
Dancing with the Stars, I would be hosting Love is Blind.
So I don't know. If you ever you know, and
then I get to be rich all No, thank you,
You're going to be exiled.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Try so hard for you but I just don't think
that happened in me.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
I get it. I think also I think when you're
our age, actually I'm eight years older than you, but
when you get to be my age, blessed it does
not mean a big penis. It means like a big
bank account like for one k, like you know, some
stocks and dividends, maybe a home that's paid for. Like
for me, that's blessed ship.
Speaker 4 (33:24):
But I'll take like blessed is like go get in
the gas in the car, take my trash hands out,
clean it up, you do, wandery fucking hashtag blessed.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
Amen, all that's.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
My blessed right.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
Just or like just like like go down on me
like you're just saying I did like hashtag blessed, Like
who cares about that?
Speaker 3 (33:46):
What what are you going to do for me?
Speaker 2 (33:49):
Right?
Speaker 1 (33:49):
To know?
Speaker 2 (33:50):
Right, Like we have to move away from the men
being the ones who get the compliments about having a
big peepy, you.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Know, like I don't care. What can you do with
your mouth?
Speaker 2 (33:59):
And then we'll talk and then take the fucking trash
out A blessed. Blessed Arianna invites her interior designer over
to figure out what Arianna has paid for in the
house and what Sandoval paid for. She doesn't want Sandival
to get any of her things. I this interior designer
was not a big fan of Sandoval. You could tell
(34:21):
she was taking digs at him.
Speaker 4 (34:22):
I was like, oh, oh, well, nobody's allowed to nobody
is allowed to be against Arianna. That's what it feels
like to me, And that's the struggle within the entire
group is clearly the whole world has.
Speaker 3 (34:37):
Weighed in and Arianna has won the world. So now
I do not go against that.
Speaker 2 (34:45):
I agree with that. I think that's one of the
biggest problems. Not that the season is not entertaining, but
you can see everyone who is friends with Arianna and
who would like to repair things with Tom and just
move forward. They're all struggling saying what they really want
want to say because of the social media backlash. And
that's what happens when you are on a show. You
can tell that they're afraid to say what they really want,
(35:08):
or afraid to move forward with him or just let
bygones be bygones, or move forward because of how you
said it. The global world out there, how they have
positioned her and him. Yeah, and so I think it's
I think it's a hindrance because nobody wants to like
actually go against her or say that she's wrong, or
say that she's out of line.
Speaker 4 (35:28):
Right, and the whole thing is just walking on as
shells or like putting them all in a situation where
now they're like crappy friends because they're inviting him to
things when we all.
Speaker 3 (35:37):
Know he's going to be at that event, whether they
want him there or not.
Speaker 4 (35:41):
So it just expects everybody in a really awkward, uncomfortable,
very entertaining situation exactly.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
The group is having a beach day redemption. Apparently Anne
is no longer working for Sanduvil. She's working for Katie
and Arianna at the sandwich shop, even though their sandwich
shop hasn't opened and Bill has not opened. Oh really, yeah,
I'm pretty sure it's still not open. I think that
there was a little bit of press about them being
a ghost kitchen on so much height, so much height,
(36:13):
the little open right, James draws a physical line in
the sand to separate ari on his side and Sandoval's side.
Sandoval denies firing Anne, but he got a new assistant already.
Sandoval claims he has an HR department for his employees,
and Ariana tells everyone she can't spend any more time
(36:35):
with Sandoval, but everyone's continuing to invite him to things,
so she has no choice. This was a lot, This
was a she again. She became super irate, and I
don't know, what do you think? I don't even know
really where Anne is now? Is she not working for
Sandoval because he said that he told her like, you
can have like a few days off, but he already
(36:55):
hired a new assistant. I don't know. And there's not
really a sandwich shop, so clearly Anne is just I
don't know. I guess she's visiting the unemployment line soon.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
Yeah, here's that way.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
I think he probably is moving on, but he doesn't
want to like formally let her go because he doesn't
want to give them the then the you know, the
opening to go in and take her. But I just think, like,
there's plenty of other people out there.
Speaker 3 (37:20):
I mean, you're in La just go on cure dot com,
like get get together ladies.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
Like I just don't know why that and that is
what happened is essentially this poor girl now just doesn't
have a job.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
Right Well, here's the thing, and here's where I think
there's some hypocrisy. Arianna constantly says that she wants nothing
to do with Tom, she doesn't want to be around Tom,
she doesn't want other people to be around Tom. But
then she will poach his assistant and cert herself into
that relationship. So you can't you can't have it both ways.
(37:53):
You can't say you want nothing to do with him
and you don't want to be around him, but then
also try and poach his assistant, which causes problem between
him and the assistant, and now you don't really have
a job to offer her. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (38:04):
I'm just you know, it's emotionally driven, and I think
it's a combination of emotion combined with you know, she's
in this place where she can do no wrong, and
so she's operating from that standpoint. She's hurt and she
(38:25):
knows she gets more slack right now. And I think
that that, you know, sometimes working in your favor, sometimes
it doesn't.
Speaker 3 (38:32):
Honestly, the whole thing.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
With the furniture I found to be really petty, like
you're making so much money, you're doing so well.
Speaker 3 (38:41):
Like if I was her, I would.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
Just walk out of the home, find a new place
to live, blow that shit up, Like why do.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
You want to hold on to all those memories? And
just let it be.
Speaker 4 (38:51):
I would want half of that house obviously financially, and
I would want my freedom, you know. And I just
think the fact that she's getting caught up with these
things is because she's still hurting, you know. I think
that that is you know, that's.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
What that looks like.
Speaker 4 (39:08):
And it's a little it's a little hypocritical, it's a
little messy, and it's a little irrational.
Speaker 3 (39:15):
Right.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
So, on the March twelfth episode of Watch What Happens
Live with Andy Cohen, Arianna shared that at that time
she had not hired Anne. However, she did tease there
will be some developments. So again, we have no idea
where Anne is.
Speaker 3 (39:30):
I'm sure Anne's gonna land fine. She said her name
like more.
Speaker 4 (39:35):
Times than we've said anybody's name this entire podcast. So
I'll tell you right now, Anne's gonna have to make
him more money than me.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
Yeah, the next time we do headlines, it will be
Anne has bought a three point one million dollar house in.
Speaker 3 (39:49):
La exactly that Gina did not sell her.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
No, all right, now, We're going to go into vander
pump Villa Season one, Episode one recap and hear us
start with the best moments. We're introduced to Chateau Rosa
(40:15):
bel and the vision that Lisa has for this estate.
The show intro starts and we meet the cast Emily
and Grace, Andre and Tlly, Eric, Stephen, Gabriella, Anthony, Caroline,
Hannah and Marciano, Priscilla and of course Lisa Vanner Pump.
All I kept thinking to myself was, Damn, that's a
lot of people to keep track of.
Speaker 3 (40:33):
I'm just a lot of people.
Speaker 4 (40:35):
It was a lot, Yeah, it was Yes, babally introduce
all of them though, so it was only like a
little bit at a time, and I love it. I
just absolutely cannot get enough of it. I know you
said this, but I agree. It is like below deck.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
It is like below deck. That's what I was thinking.
Shane and I watched it last night and I was like,
it's like below deck, but it's above ground. It's above deck.
Speaker 4 (40:58):
Yeah, and there's a lot less And you know what,
I always get nervous on below deck because there actually
it is really a boat, and really there's a lot
of safety issues involved, right, and there's that type of
production with the book.
Speaker 3 (41:10):
I was like, this feels much.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
Safer, right, We're not going to crash into anything on this. Yes,
So Lisa hosts the first orientation with the staff. They're
being crept on the first guests who are staying with them,
and then they get to explore the property. We find
out Marciano and Hannah are exes. He cheated on her
and she found out, but they're still hooking up. All
I have to say is, Hannah, girl, come on like Hannah, Hannah, Yeah, beautiful,
(41:38):
have some have some dignity. Marciano, I mean he's a lot.
You can tell he's a player. He's always talking about
other girls, and I mean he was having all kinds
of inappropriate conversations.
Speaker 4 (41:48):
So his name alone, Come on, right, You're not going
to date Marciano and not have trouble.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
You're just not right.
Speaker 3 (42:00):
Eat like Larry Larry Anna.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
Luke Colorado.
Speaker 3 (42:05):
Yes, exactly, I get it.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
Anyone named Marciano needs a warning label. Yes, yeah, the
day one hundred feet away from this dude, that guy. Yes,
Lisa cooks dinner for her staff and Marciano already had
the bad attitude. They play a game at tell the
truth or drink, and again Marciano is being extremely messy.
Hannah and Marciano have a moment in his room. They
(42:30):
kiss and he tells her that he loves her. I
didn't understand Marcio's Marciano's attitude when Lisa was like, I
made you chicken and then whatever it was, and he
made a face or something like he was he was like.
Speaker 4 (42:43):
Because she said that he couldn't they couldn't drink or
something to a party too hard because.
Speaker 2 (42:48):
They right because they had to work the next day.
And he was like, eh, you know, yeah, so that chicken.
Hell know, Lisa Vanner Pump didn't cook that chicken and
she had a full staff inside that chateau cooking that chicken, this.
Speaker 3 (43:03):
Chicken all day of this shot.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
At first she had glam done and then she put
her clothes on, and then she walked into the kitchen
and as she walked by the kitchen, they handed her
the flyer, right, and then she presented it.
Speaker 3 (43:15):
That's what happened, yeah, totally.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
And again the game when they said they were going
to play a game, and she was talking about how
she's like an event coordinator and we're going to play
a game. And I was like, oh my gosh, this
is going to be a great game because this girl
is an event coordinator. And then she's like tell the
truth or drink. I was like, what the hell? Like
anybody could have come up with that. I was expecting
something like more, I don't know, more more deed, something different,
(43:41):
something more interesting, truth or dare right? I feel like
that's so played out.
Speaker 4 (43:46):
It's like, take a time at any event event play
a game like right truth or dam.
Speaker 3 (43:53):
You just fling it out there. Yeah. I actually though,
I love Gabriella's energy.
Speaker 4 (43:59):
That's the one, and I think that that is the
party planner right right right. I don't know what it
is about her. I love her energy. I think she
has such a good, smiley, bubbly like she seems very
ambitious to me. I actually feel like even though that
game like was fell flat, for sure, I was expecting more.
Speaker 3 (44:19):
I like her vibe.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
Yeah, I I didn't. I don't know. I haven't really
connected with any of them yet, And I feel like
that's what happens when you start a new show and
you have all new characters and you're trying, you know,
you're learning names at this point. Yeah, I just know
Marciano is going to be trouble. You can tell that.
Speaker 4 (44:39):
So yeah, I feel bad for Hannah because she clearly,
like is in love with him. She clearly can I mean,
she looks like a wompe Barbie doll. She can get
any guys she wants, So why go backwards?
Speaker 2 (44:54):
You know, it's always the bad guys. When you're young,
you're just always interested in the bad guys.
Speaker 3 (44:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (44:59):
Yeah, and then you get older and you just marry
like a Shane and then life ceazy.
Speaker 3 (45:04):
It's great, mimas Travis, It's great.
Speaker 2 (45:08):
Hashtag blessed. As the entire staff waits out front for
their first guests to arrive, Marciano drops four glasses of
champagne all over the floor. First of all, I was
thinking if I was a guest and I was driving
up to this chateau, I don't know if I would
want like twelve people out there waiting on me. I
(45:28):
don't know for sure. It seemed like a lot, like
a lineup, like am I identifying witnesses like? I don't know.
It just seemed like a lot to deal with.
Speaker 3 (45:40):
Very intimidating, for sure.
Speaker 2 (45:43):
And Marciano drops the glasses. Is it because he's drunk
because he's doing shots behind the bar, or is it
because of the wind. He blames it on the wind,
but I don't know.
Speaker 3 (45:53):
But he wasn't the only one holding a trade though.
Speaker 4 (45:56):
Nobody else is blew over in that gust, right, So
it's a very target.
Speaker 2 (46:01):
That's right. It was. It was, so I'm gonna blame
it on the shots she took behind the bar. Lisa's
unable to be at the chateau twenty four to seven
because she has to run her other businesses. I didn't
understand this though, because does she have other businesses in
France or is she flying back to the United States
and Vegas.
Speaker 3 (46:22):
I just think she's not staying there for that shit show.
Speaker 2 (46:25):
Yeah, she's. She's like, I'm just gonna put cameras everywhere,
and I'm going to be somewhere. She's trusting her staff
alone with the guests. Okay, there's your first mistake right there,
that you hire all these people who are clearly messy,
(46:45):
and then you're gonna just let them have run of
a French chateau and you're just gonna get on your
private jet and fly away and hope everything works out. Okay,
sounds like a great it's great entertainment, right because she's
clearly not going to be there.
Speaker 4 (47:01):
The thing that I don't understand you is do they
like I was trying to figure out if this was
like an elimination sort of.
Speaker 3 (47:08):
I thought at first, I really thought it was going
to be.
Speaker 4 (47:11):
I thought they were the staff, and then I thought
they were gonna it was gonna be like The Bachelor,
and then I thought they were going to have to
vote people off.
Speaker 2 (47:19):
Well, it kind of when you see the when you
see the previews, it looks like they have the opportunity
to take other people's jobs.
Speaker 3 (47:28):
Oh so that, yes, that's juicy. I like that.
Speaker 4 (47:31):
And that girl is coming, that girl Emily's Emi.
Speaker 2 (47:35):
There's always that name just th those people off. It
makes you say, come in very little house on the prairie,
like Emily. It's a very old fashioned name, but it's
really very deceiving because yeah, because.
Speaker 3 (47:47):
She's comment that.
Speaker 4 (47:49):
And there's one from so the guy Eric, right, is
that the manager.
Speaker 3 (47:53):
I think he's from Ohio.
Speaker 2 (47:55):
I know I saw that, and then I looked at
Shane because we were watching it, because when he was
talking about him, he's like, I'm from Ohio and I
like bugs, and I have grasshoppers, and I like spiders.
And I'm like, where in this conversation is this man
anywhere like ready to be a manager of a chateau
in France Because basically all he said is that he's
(48:16):
like a country boy that likes bugs. Like, I don't
know where on your resume that means that you can
manage a chateau and a staff.
Speaker 4 (48:24):
Right, Like where sorry, like where did the transition into hospitality?
Speaker 3 (48:31):
Right? Like where do we make that transition?
Speaker 1 (48:34):
You know?
Speaker 4 (48:35):
Where do we go from like the crickets and shit
to I'm the manager of a busy restaurant?
Speaker 1 (48:41):
Right?
Speaker 2 (48:42):
And like in his interview, like did Lisa interview him?
And She's like, tell me what experience you have that
you could be a manager of a chateau. He's like, well,
I'm from Ohio and I like bugs and spiders. And
she's like, great, you're hired. No, he was like, I'm
recently divorced. She was like you're in right, And I'm
really good looking. Yes, I'm perfect, yeah, perfect.
Speaker 3 (49:04):
He is hot. The chef is hot too, oh.
Speaker 2 (49:07):
The French chef with the accent, with the French accent?
Is he friend?
Speaker 3 (49:10):
Great?
Speaker 2 (49:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (49:11):
And I think he's British.
Speaker 2 (49:13):
Oh, I don't know. I just remember he had an accent.
Speaker 3 (49:15):
It's great. It's all great.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
So the guests have their welcome dinner, a red hot
romance dinner that Chef Anthony has prepared for them. Is
at the hot chef Chef Anthony Marciano is taking shots
with the guests, and Steven, the events coordinator, is watching
all of the servers and thinks they're being unprofessional. Well,
I don't know, Steven, I might have to agree with you.
It was a bit of a messy time over there
(49:38):
at the table, yes.
Speaker 4 (49:39):
But at the same time, Steven was literally fired form
a vander Puff facility being unprofessional.
Speaker 2 (49:47):
I know. I was like, did he just forget that?
He just said that he was fired from He said
he was being snarky or something, right, right, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (49:57):
I'm like, so now you're the one that gets to
rid professionalism.
Speaker 2 (50:02):
Right absolutely. I don't know what do you think about
Marciano taking shots with the guests. I feel like at
some point maybe there should be some interaction, because your
job is to entertain guests and to make them feel
comfortable and to make them feel welcome and for them
to have a good time. But I don't know about
standing at the table taking shots with the guests. I
don't know.
Speaker 4 (50:22):
I feel like I've worked in those industries before and
it's kind of like, you know, the guest is always right,
and I think that you do what you have to do,
but you can't let it prevent you from doing your
job effectively, and so like sometimes you take it, but
you fake it and then you jump it. I mean
he was clearly just looking to get lit.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
Up, right, because they did. They did ask him. I
think they asked him right to take shots with him,
like they asked him.
Speaker 3 (50:50):
And he was encouraging it.
Speaker 1 (50:52):
You know.
Speaker 4 (50:52):
He was the one who was like, if anybody doesn't
finish their shot, so I'm here. So he set the
tone for that, and I think that's the problem. Like
if you if they are just a crowd that's like.
Speaker 3 (51:03):
We want to drink with our waiter.
Speaker 4 (51:05):
You kind of have no choice, right if you're the
one saying, guys, look, if you want me to come
join you, I'm here for that. That's very different, right.
Speaker 2 (51:14):
And if you don't want to take your shot, I'll
just do it for.
Speaker 4 (51:17):
You, right, if none of you want these seventeen shots,
I'm here for you.
Speaker 2 (51:23):
The drinks are taking way too long, and the servers
are freaking out. Marciano and Ntlly get into a full
fledged screaming fight. Okay, I didn't honestly understand. First of all,
there's two bartenders, there's one bar, and there's not a
lot of guests. They only showed the one couple, but
it looks like the couple brought some friends with them.
So the fact that you can't get a drink out
(51:44):
to like six people at a table in a timely
manner when there's two bartenders and one bar, that made
no sense to me, Like what's going on? Like one
bartender's on a break, but Tully's supposed to be behind
the bar, but she's not behind the bar.
Speaker 4 (51:58):
Yeah, I mean for sure even if she's even if
they were doing breaks or whatever.
Speaker 3 (52:02):
And then she made that comment.
Speaker 4 (52:03):
Like I wasn't given any of like the prep stuff
that I needed.
Speaker 3 (52:07):
It's like, well then you should be like do.
Speaker 4 (52:08):
I have everything before you go on break? Like they
clearly didn't set up their bar, They didn't work together
to like know where everything was, and it slowed down
the machine so I understand why the servers would be
pissed about that, But then I felt like they were
just he's because he was lit up now from taking
seventy one shot. He's so impressive. He's going in there
(52:29):
so hot, right, And I'm not surprised that it ended
like that. What I was surprised about was I didn't
think that Hannah that was very I thought she should
have had had either had Delly's back or been trying
to calm down Marciano, rather than be like, yeah, that bitch,
you didn't do her job.
Speaker 2 (52:49):
Who she was like, she was like light or fluid
on the fire. She was not helping at all. I
love the shot that you can see everyone out a dinner,
at this dinner with like roses and candles, and then
they could look through the window at the chateau and
they're just going at it, and yeah, there's just screaming.
Telly's pushing Marciano. She's she's like completely just ready to
(53:13):
punch him in the faces. Hannah's getting involved in it.
Everybody's screaming. Very professional, very.
Speaker 3 (53:21):
Professional all around.
Speaker 4 (53:24):
Right, she did her way of getting tell you hot fast.
Speaker 3 (53:30):
It was like you no, not taking it that's it.
You hit that button. Shouldn't hit the button.
Speaker 2 (53:36):
No, they hit the button, And I know what that's like.
That's when everybody needs to just everybody needs to leave
or else. I'm gonna like, I get like that. It's good.
Speaker 4 (53:45):
She was really angry and I get it because she
was disrespected, you know.
Speaker 2 (53:50):
So Hannah joins in supporting Marciano. Kelly pushes Marciano, screaming
in his face, calling Hannah a bitch. And this is
all happening by a window where the guests can see
and hear them. I don't know, if you're at this
fancy resort and they're all fighting like that, would you
be bothered by it? Or you would you just be
thoroughly entertained.
Speaker 4 (54:09):
Yeah, I mean at that's chateau, I think you are
waiting for shit to light on fire, right, It's like, oh,
there's a fire, you know.
Speaker 3 (54:16):
I think it's a little different.
Speaker 4 (54:18):
Yeah, I mean, if that's also like your romantic weekend
where you're planning a secret proposed proposal for your fiance.
Speaker 3 (54:25):
It's not really it doesn't really set the stage for that.
Speaker 2 (54:29):
It doesn't really scream romance and see your proposal.
Speaker 3 (54:32):
No longevity and commitment of marriage. No, I mean it's
a little offbeat.
Speaker 2 (54:39):
So the guests were actually asking each other if they
should ask the staff what the fight is about. So
I feel like they were like into it, like they
wanted to be a part of it. They're like, hey, guys, like,
let us know so we can help out, Like we
need to figure out what team we are on. Are
we team Marcelle?
Speaker 1 (54:54):
No?
Speaker 2 (54:54):
Are we team Telly? We need more information, me more information?
Speaker 3 (54:58):
Can you guys bring us a little teeth?
Speaker 2 (55:00):
Yeah? Can you bring us the drink that I asked
for thirty minutes ago and the tea that before it done?
Speaker 4 (55:07):
I would have been like, guys, excuse me, sat martini
almost done?
Speaker 3 (55:12):
Like right, done with all this bullshit? Right?
Speaker 2 (55:15):
Can someone just bring me my drink? Then you can
go back at it like I'm at it. Just bring
me my espresso martini please.
Speaker 3 (55:21):
And some popcorn?
Speaker 1 (55:22):
Thanks?
Speaker 2 (55:23):
Right? All right? So coming up this season, Eric's going
to get on some people's nerves. Emily is going to
try and steal Tully's job as bartender, and Steven tries
to steal Eric's job as manager. A lot of the
staff will be looking looking up, not looking up. A
lot of the staff will be hooking up this season,
and most of them will be getting in trouble with Lisa.
(55:44):
Multiple people are crying, others may get fired. So to me,
it looks like it's going to be a heck of
a show with a lot of drama. So I can't
wait for the next episode. I'm I don't know. You
watch it and you don't know the people when they
first introduce it, and then forty five minutes later you're
like team Kelly and you're like, Marciona is a dick.
Speaker 4 (56:04):
Yeah, very invested. I invested quick for sure.
Speaker 2 (56:08):
Absolutely, so we're very invested in the show. So anyway,
thank you all for listening to Popping Off and we
will see you next time.
