lot about him as a person too from one of
my close friends.

When you have to get those types of adjustments to
you and corrections, you know, it's because you play the
game as such a high passionate, feverish pitch. I can
remember being somewhat that type of guy when I.

What I mean, I watched the Hard Knocks Dip where
you was out there pushing on him and it's screaming
at him and getting in there their their heads and
stuff like that. Where does your style of play? Where
does that come from?

Man? Because it's an.

Old school state like we could have played together, you
know what I mean, Where does that?

Where does that come from? Honestly, it's just it's a
love and respect for the history of the game. I mean,
you don't hear that very often anymore, No, not at all.
I mean you could ask some of these young guys
we get you know, I give Tyree Wilson a bunch
of Again, I don't know if I can wish get
after him because you ask some of these young guys,
You're like, who's all time sack leader and they don't

have no idea. I was there to name them off.
So you know, for me, like I come. You know,
Rob Marionelli was my coach for a few years and
that dude has made such a big impact on my
career in the history of the game. So for me,
I grew up watching Pittsburgh Steelers versus the Ravens and
all those guys, the James Harrison's, the you know, Terrell Suggs,
guys like that, So I have a respect for for

the game and the way it's supposed to be played.
And you know, for me to you know, to be
a legend, which I want to be. You know, I
want to be one of the greatest.

I mean, you're being talked about and you're on a
show called Conversations with a Legend, So so you got
legend theiry status, my guy.

of the day, to be legendary. You gotta separate yourself

So for me playing as many snaps as I do,
playing the style of football, I play with reckless abandon,
not having any regard for my body. But I'm out
there it's you know, it's for a purpose, and yeah,
you know, you can't be out there thinking or hesitant

through butter. And that's how That's how I attacked the game.

that first win with with Ap, everybody's like they didn't
win anything, and I'm like, bro, they're celebrating their love

Before we get the Papa Johns and talking about the
Papa john pizza that that they got for Vegas that
you're going to hand deliver, what did that feeling feel
like when you guys were in the place of having
to replace the head coach. Here comes an interroom head coach,
lo and behold, the interroom head coach is a lightning

rod for what you guys. You know, it's seemingly what
you needed. Yeah, how did that feel in that moment?

And what was what was.

The difference in moving forward because you guys were a
different team once Antonio Pierce took over as the coach.

No doubt. I think, you know, the cigars and everything
were like symbolic of a new era, you know what
I mean, It's like, this is this is, this is
what being a Raider is. Screw what everybody else has
to say. We don't care. We don't care everyone's opinion. Like,
we're gonna do it our way. There's thirty one teams,
there's one Raider. So at the end of the day,
we're going to do you know, talk our shit, smoke
our shit, and be who we are and not apologize

right from the right from the get go. And for me,
like I come in, you know, on a personal level,
I know AP is a former Giant and I know
how important that first game was to him. So I
told like you could ask them. I told him like

You know, I heard the stuff to go buy one

hundred cigars. I paid one of our equipment guys and
they're ready and loaded. So it just became our thing
and moving forward. You know, people could talk about it

We're gonna keep doing what we do and we're looking
forward to again a full season under ap I love
