Speaker 1 (00:48):
Did I ever share with you how I fell in
love with radio as a kid growing up in Detroit,
wheredy was that business, especially in the summertime. For me,
it was either Hot one on two seven or FM
ninety eight WJLB, and I'd be listening to Reggie Rich

(01:09):
Coco and Foolish in the morning, ready to pull up,
even Bushman. We'd go downtown what was at the Heart Plaza,
Northland Skating Ring right over eight Mile and wherever the
favorite concerts were, and then the personalities would be there,
the same people that you would hear on the radio
talking about all the events in the city, about the community,

(01:30):
and then they were giving stuff away. Then they were
hosting these events with your favorite artists, and I was like, man,
I want to be a part of that. On top
of the fact I've shared with you my passion for speaking,
speaking in front of people, just talking in general on
the microphone. I would be in the car and I
still do it to this day, saying FM ninety eight

(01:55):
w j LB. And every time that I'd go to
these and I mean my favorite personalities, I'm like, Wow,
this is like a gift that keeps on giving. So
now fast forward fifteen years of my life, listen, fall back.
I am so grateful that now I can be in

(02:16):
that position to offer that same opportunity for someone else.
And it goes along the lines that I always say,
we here for a good time, not a long time,
so let's make it count and we make it count
by living our lives on purpose and for purpose. We

(02:38):
make it count by leaning into our vulnerability. I talk
about this quite often about Brenane Brown and how she
talks about there's power and vulnerability because it allows us
to connect. And although I only have five months on
that FM dial, my God, I was able to connect
with so many people, so many beautiful people. And I'm

(03:02):
a firm believer. Ask and you shall receive, Seek and
ye shall find. Knock and the door will be open
to you. Nothing beats failure but to try. And you
gotta be bold. You gotta be audacious because if you

(03:28):
want to do, if you want to be and experience
the things that you've never experienced, well, honey, you're gonna
have to start to do the things that these people
do do experience these things better. Yet, here's the quote.
If you want to be great, you gotta do things
that great people do, and great people do things that
every day people don't do. That's if you want to

(03:51):
be great in any area of your life. What that
looks like, what that means is is that you gotta
be bold enough to step outside of your comfort zone.
This past Saturday, I had a listener who stepped outside
of her copfort zone and reached out to me. I've
been talking about this show on Apple tv Plus and
titled The Big Door Prize. I shared how immediately I

(04:15):
stepped in and leaned into this show because I saw
my girl, Gabrielle Dennis was storing in it. I came
across Gabrielle a few years back when I was still
working with the Steve Harvey Morning Show and I was
on the red carpet for the naacp Immage Awards luncheon,
and she was doing a press run as she was

(04:35):
starring in Bobby Brown's biopic as Whitney Houston, and I
was in love. I mean her cadence, her personality, her
dry I said, who is this girl a woman? And
now to see her in another light, branching outside doing
her thing on The Big Door Prize, I was like,

(04:57):
Oh my gosh. On top of the fact, the show
was right on target. When we talk about vitamin D,
when we talk about shed and light, when we talk
about you are your greatest asset? Why Because this show
is all about talking about potential. The show is about
a machine that appears in a small town in Deerfield,

(05:20):
Middle America, and people are going to this machine and
it's telling them their potential. Yeah, so it's giving people
a reason to step out and take a chance. Also,
on the adverse side, you have individuals who have reached
their potential and some of them find themselves in a funk.
But depending on how you look at it, that doesn't

(05:42):
have to be the end all be all. We should
look at it in the sense of there's more to do,
there's more to see, there is more. I say all
that to say in my passion of talking about this show,
a listener from the FM DI reached out to me
with an opportunity HM. I received the email a few

(06:06):
days ago from Crystal Michelle. Do you want to hear
the letter? I should share the letter with you. It
was heartwarming. Okay, this is what we're gonna do. Let
me take a quick break. When I come back, I
am going to share a letter from a listener who

(06:26):
first followed me on the FM dial then crossed on
over to the Vitamin D with Doing Day podcast. Took
a chance reached out to me in hopes of meeting
me because I always tell people pull up on me. Well,
she challenged me to pull up on her, and I

(06:47):
did just that. So hold tight. I'm gonna be back
in a few and then I'm gonna tell you and
I'm gonna read to you this letter that I received
from Crystal Michelle and tell you what happened after that.
All right, Okay, one, it's Spider, Me and Diva doing
Day all day every day. Ew Hey, what's up. It's
Andy Alton and you're listening to Day. Okay, So I'm back.

(07:18):
I told you I was coming back to share a
letter from a listener Crystal Michelle, who reached out to
me via email to meet up. Why well, let me
tell you that. So here's a letter from Crystal Michelle.
She sent this on May twelfth, around eleven thirty Pacific time, subject,

(07:42):
Hey ya, trying to pull up on you testing one
two three, So can you pull up too? Hey Dawn,
I know we never met, but I actually tried reaching
out months back when you were still on the FM dial. Honestly,
after your departure, I'll stop tuning in so dang early,
and thank you for your beautiful words and positive community

(08:03):
services during those times. But somebody at KJLH must have
bumped their head thinking it was a great idea to
let you go Oh mg, eye roll. At any rate,
what's a little hill to a stepper. We keep on stepping, Dawn.
Like I mentioned, I tried to connect with you before,
but maybe the email was not working, or I had

(08:23):
it wrong, or the timing was not as good, etc.
I'm even hoping you can get this email too. Lol.
Funny thing is I told myself I was going to
step out on faith and try to meet a network
with people who are purpose oriented people, people living for
a greater purpose. When I started to chime into the
discussions about everything everywhere all at once, I said to myself,
Oh my god, what I know the spirit? This is

(08:47):
so familiar and what a wonderful feeling. I can't describe
your awesome syst. Moreover, I knew and pray that we
could one day meet up and talk about everything yopsis.
I had fabroids too, find benefit and we two love
to work out getting fine too, skin care all that too, etc.
I mean, all of your topics are always right on point. Hey,

(09:09):
catch it hot? Hello? Al what's that you ask? What
do I want from you? Well? I have nothing big
to truly offer you other than to let you know
that you are the bomb, doing super great things out
here in these tricky LA streets, and I'm so grateful
to have a great possible space to reach out on
faith and maybe connect with you. So get to the point, Crystal, Well, okay, Dawn,

(09:33):
I know on one of your incredible past topics you
got into the Big Door Prize show. I honestly personally
never really seen or heard of the show before until
you mentioned it. Ha ha. Anyway, I'm an LA member of
the TV Academy, etc. And I was recently invited plus
guest to attend tomorrow's upcoming PM evening screening the Big

(09:55):
Door Prize New Episode event and have one extra ticket.
I told myself, this is doing day's ticket, so pull
up on me, says Ha. I mean, if you're free,
interested and or are available. Of course, overall, I hope
you at minimum can get this email, and if not,
then maybe someday soon. Hugs, Please follow a action We're

(10:19):
on Insta and love and support you can send to aw.
Safety is appreciated, and gratitude. Blessings Crystal Michelle action we'ar
ink she put an asterisk kind of last minute, I know,
but it's always worth a shot. Amen, let's go. Can

(10:40):
you believe this? You know? I pulled up on her
ask and you shall receive seeking, you shall find knock
and the door will be opened unto you. Hmm. You
ready to hear about it? So I go ahead and
I took a chance. I sent a Crystal a text.

(11:01):
She left her number in the email, and I'm smiling
ear to ear because it is truly. I'm telling you,
it's truly a joy to be able to give an
opportunity to space to create whatever this is. It is
a beautiful thing to be a part of it, because
I know what it's like to be on the other end.
So after that email and she put her number, I

(11:24):
sent her a text. I said, happy Friday, Crystal, this
is Dawn Day. She said, oh mg, what Blessing's done? Wow? Okay,
you just made my day, Dai. So I reached out
to her and I said, listen, I'm definitely interested in going.
Send me over the email and I'll be there. So

(11:46):
I decided to pull up. We met down at Goya
Studios over in Hollywood, and I got there before she did.
She was pulling up and when we met, it was organic.
It was amazing. I was so enamored with the fact

(12:08):
that one the reach and what we're doing with this
podcast fighting and daw was shedding light. I was reaching people.
So we hugged, we got in, we sat down, we
took our seats, and she's like, okay, so tell me
all about you. I said, I'm telling her this. She's like, oh, yeah,
I remember you talking about this on the episode. I said, well, girl,
you already know me. I said, tell me about you.
I began to thank her so much for reaching out

(12:31):
because it means a lot. You know, behind a microphone,
whether I'm in my closet or I'm in the studio,
I don't get a chance to see you and feel you,
to really embrace you. But when I get these responses,
that's what it feels like. Any type of email, any
type of messaging, and perhaps those who asked for me
to pull up. So we're sitting there talking and she's

(12:54):
telling me about herself. She's phenomenal. She's a stunted woman,
and she was in Black Panther in several movies that
you've seen. And when I tell you, if you've ever
seen Black Panther, oh you saw her now. I can't
give out too many details because I'm sure you know confidential.
But when I say that you saw her, oh she
was outside. But she began to talk about her life,

(13:17):
and I just think back of how I have really
been talking about vulnerability and both showing up as me
and being authentically mean and understanding how that power and
vulnerability works because it's truly allowing me to connect with people.
So we sat down and we talked about life with Kiki.
I had met this other couple next to me. I

(13:38):
stopped this gentleman and told MS Zipper was down and
then his girlfriend. You know, that created a bond of us,
and she's like, thank you we Kiki, honey, this a
young woman. Come to find out she's talking about. Oh,
she didn't have a crush on me. It was it
was hilarious and flattering. But let's get back to Crystal.
So Christl and I we enjoyed the episode. Now, thank goodness,
the episode that they did share was just the first episode,

(14:00):
so I'm probably about four or five, which I will
be recapping for you shortly, and we all walked away
while then it was after we got done with the reception,
we began to talk and Chrystal was just continue to
tell me how much she appreciated the time on the show,
and I just sat back and I was just like,
thank you God that we can be a part of this,

(14:22):
or that I can be a part of this, that
you allow me the space to show up and to
be me, and because I am me, I'm able to
connect with so many people. Furthermore, another thing that I
want to highlight about all this situation. I talk about
all the time, how you got to take a chance,
how you got to step outside of your comfort zone.
And you're even looking at Crystal. She's so used to
being a stuntman behind the scenes, not being seen, and

(14:43):
here she is. She took a chance, she took a chance,
and I hope that that is an example about you
taking a chance. And I'm not saying I'm all in
the bagg of chips, but I am all in the
baggag chips, and so are you. So what I mean
is is that I've got greatness inside of you. And

(15:03):
if you just step out into your potential, if you
just take a chance, if you just step out of
your comfort zone, magical things could happen. And the fact
that I was able to give Crystal the moment was
she said, Dawn, I can relate to you. I've had
these viber brands doing so much, so it's like, hey,
I would love an opportunity that you can bring this
discussion on the show, and I would love to share
my story doing I'm all about skincare, doing I'm all

(15:27):
about cannabis, some things that I actually felt so nervous
to shure because I was like, oh my gosh, are
people gonna judge me, They're not gonna work with me.
But it's like here's the thing that I'm realizing, Like
this is me. All these pieces make up me, and
I can't hide part of me. So even what some
may deem as false or idiosyncrencies or things that are

(15:48):
not right, these are the pieces that make up me.
So if you gonna want me, you gotta have all
of me, not just a little bit, not on just
this someday, this part. This is all of me, the
good and the bad. Just like when we talk about
vitamin D, it's about shedding light own a good and
a bad. Because if you want to be better, you
want to do better. You guys to be able to
see better. So I can't be walking around being half

(16:10):
of me or part of me. I gotta be all
of me. And being all of me allows somebody that said, hey,
I don't like to be seen, Hey, I'm not that
really all going to reach out to me. And the
thing that's so interesting family people always say when they
mean me, I'm so shy, I'm so introverted, and I'm
the most allowed, outgoing, big personality person that is. But

(16:30):
thank you God for allowing ability to connect. I appreciate that.
So after the screening, they let us out in the
public area and we had a chance to chit chat,
and then of course I caught up with Baboo, my
eighty year old boo. I'm just joking out, really my boob,
but my boo who said she had a crush on me,
And we sat down, we ate and we talked about
life and we enjoyed things. And then guess what, I

(16:53):
had the opportunity to connect with Gabrielle Denaz. Hey. She
gave me her agent's information and we're gonna work on
her coming on vitamin D with DOINGTA. How does that sound?
H I think it's amazing. But going back to Crystal,
I'm grateful for her and I'm grateful for you, and

(17:14):
I hope this shes light on the possibility that greater
is coming for those who believe, for those who are
willing and ready to perceive it. You gotta get uncomfortable
for your dreams, whatever it looks like. And I say
this because how you do anything, it's how you'll do everything.
Don't sound may be bold in this area, but not

(17:35):
in this area because it becomes a pattern. So with Crystal, yeah,
she could have just stood back and not reached out.
What she did and then I was able to pull
up and we were able to bond. She even gave
me a friendship bracelet. And you gotta check out her brand,
Action where axt I own. It's where she makes knee

(17:55):
pass another patty for people of color, not just people
of color, for people of the whole spectrum. It's all inclusive.
And she's doing it in the film industry. Why because
people that do the job that she does needs this
talk about. It's So please check out Action Wear and
tell her that Dante sent you. We made plans to

(18:16):
link up in the future and to connect, and I
just wanted to share that with you. I just want
to share, just to check in and say, take a chance,
step outside of your comfort zone. You never know what
could happen. And I can't even imagine like being on
the other side and reaching out to Reggie Ridge or

(18:37):
Coco or a bush Man and them getting back to
me and saying like link up, thank you God. I
could be this gift. Now. I really don't know what
this is going to look like, you know, in the future,
but we got to be in the president. And what
I mean by the future is that, you know, I
unapologetically say that I'm going to be bigger than Oprah.
I'm gonna be syndicated on everybody's radio, household, whatever it is.

(19:03):
I don't know, because you know, even as I think
back in radio, how much has changed. And although I
only got five months on the FM dial, the impact
and now because radio has changed so much, and especially
with the pandemic, not everybody or we aren't going to
these events where the radio stations are doing and we're
pulling up how we used to pull up. And that's

(19:24):
why I say gratitude is everything, because the more grateful
we are, the more things we have to be grateful for.
So while I only got them five months, I didn't
even get out in the streets to meet everybody. But
I'm still doing it. And let that be a testament
for you. You know, we have these dreams and we
have these ambitions, and we have it how we vision
it to look like. So in a perfect world, I

(19:44):
imagine myself to be with this FM dial, any FM dial,
and being out there with the street team. But I'm
creating it myself. People reaching out and I'm pulling up,
whether it's Kevin Ross going to his mom's funeral, whether
it's I want to visit Miss Maryland and mister Meredith
at the hospital, and perhaps even look at linking up
with Crystal Michelle, just to say that I'm here because

(20:07):
I appreciate each and every person that has stood up
with me to show it for me. You pulled up
on me, so I'm gonna pull up on you, and
I'll remind the Crystal like to continue to step outside
of your comfort zone, continue to take a chance, and
that she's talking about wanting to connect with like minded people,
and I'm like, this is how you do it. This
is how we do man. I tried it. Always remind y'all,

(20:31):
I am here to speak, not to sing. But I
do feel as though with the little lessons, I'm not
saying a little with a few lessons, not a few,
with some with singing lessons. I think I'm gonna do
some things because you know, I'm gonna be an egod,
I'm gonna have my Emmy, my Grammy, my Oscar and
my Tony. I'm putting it out there. God said, dream big.
So why not? Hey, if all you got to do

(20:54):
is ask and you shall receive, what are you asking for?
And if you're not? Why not? Why aren't you taking
a chance on yourself? You know, I say it casually.
How we're here for a good time, not a long time.
Let's make it count. I even reminded you how Miss
Maryland said herself, we're here on loan though none of
us belong to us, Mina, you can't have none of
this forever. So why aren't you taking a chance? Why

(21:14):
aren't you going after those experiences? Why aren't you living
your life? And that was another thing that Crystal said
that really made me smile. She said, you talked about
taking a chance and stepping out through the comfort zone,
and I want to do that because if somebody has
been a stunt person of being by the scenes being
I want to say timid, but I wouldn't say timid
basically being quiet or being comfortable, not saying. She says,
I got to put myself more out there, and I'm

(21:36):
like you, I'm thinking to myself, well, you know you
were the right person. Uh, But I want to share
that with you and to say that if there's something
that you want to take a chance on, if you
want to ask, just go ahead and do it. You
never know what could happen. Nothing beats failure but a try.
So what are you trying with? Are you ready? Do
you feel like you're worth it? Because magical things happen

(21:56):
outside of your comfort zone. But you're going to have
to get uncomfortable. And what you're going to have to
realize is that being uncomfortable feels just like that uncomfortable.
But just like ET says, how bad do you want it?
Et says, you have to want your dreams as bad
as you want to breathe. You gonna have to fight
so much where you may not even feel like you
got to fight, but your body's reaction is just to

(22:18):
fight for just like somebody trying to cut off your oxygen.
I don't care if God forgive me. I'm not trying
to make this sound on the negative connotation, but whether
somebody's oxygen is being restricted by their own doing or
from other outside elements, your body is going to jerk
and react. And that's how you gotta be. It got
to be a full long reaction for your dreams or

(22:41):
whatever it is that you want out of life, because
what we do know is that you can ask and
you shall receive seeking, you shall find knock and the
door will be open to you. And I was able
to do that. In fact, go ahead and check out
my Facebook page at doing Daispects and you'll see some
pictures of Crystal and I and some of the events.
Also a snippet of the email that she sent of

(23:03):
asking me to go to this premiere. And So when
you live out your dreams, when you live it unapologetically,
you create space and permission for others to do the same,
and it ends up being a gift for you. So
just me being vulnerable and sharing who I am now,
of course I do have pieces that I keep to myself,
because that's just like anything, you know. You know, I

(23:24):
use the restroom, but I'm not bustling it open, using
the restroom. You know, I have sex, but I'm not
out on the streets everywhere. I mean, no shade. I
am adventurous. Oh, probably should have kept that to myself.
Hey we're connected. Hey, Hey, don't think I'm in a
gym getting this fine just to get fine. I'm a
free spirit. Whatever that means. Just catch it and decorate it.
But nevertheless, when we walk in our authenticity and we

(23:46):
allow ourselves to be a gift, we realize that that
gift can turn around and be a gift to us.
Me leaning into my vulnerability, showing you who I am,
telling you who I am, what I'm going through, when
I'm going through, how I'm going through it at the
moment I'm going through, it allowed me to reach out
and connect with someone else to say, hey, John, you
were talking about this show, which I love the show, honey,

(24:08):
and then the opportunity to me Gaprillelle again. Come on,
So if this is just the big door prize with
this show, imagine whatever it could be with your life
and your dreams. Are you going to be bold? Because
remember I wouldn't even have the opportunity to connect with
Krystal had I stayed at the Steve Harvey Morning Shaw.

(24:28):
Had I been too afraid to jump out all my dreams?
Now I shared this with you before. I told Jennifer Limegrouper,
who was the executive vice president of Premier Networks, and
she asked me, she said, Dawn, are you sure you
want to resign? Is just a good idea? I said yes,
because at the time, we're right in the beginning the middle.
It was probably at the beginning of the pandemic of
what was going to happen. And I said, hey, Jennifer,

(24:51):
it's no different from Moses and the red scene. He
had what these army are, all these people behind him?
And he looked before it and it was a seed.
Do you understand how deep a sea is? The creatures
that below wells whose eyeball is probably as big as
your entire body. God made away. You got to be

(25:11):
so convicted with your dream that you too can split
this water. The waters will part, a wave will be made.
And you know, I don't know why, I've always felt
like I've had to do this clearance when it comes
down to religion or talking about God, you know, because
I say I'm not religious, I'm not a Christian, Do
I believe in God. Yes. Will you hear me talk

(25:32):
about Jesus, Yes, because the story and the imagery of
what Jesus represents. We all could use a little love.
But I've always been an apprehensive of faith. You can
even listen to past episodes while I'm always giving a
clearance because I feel like there's so many rules and
people want to put you in a box whenever you're
talking about religion. But what I want to highlight is

(25:54):
what it means to have faith and taking a chance
and using these stories that we make it from the Bible,
whatever you are getting your outside inspiration from, as a
way that it can happen for you too. And had
I not taken the chance to part my Red Sea,
I would have never had the opportunity, or it wouldn't

(26:15):
have been presented in that way, because I would have
been so focused on that to be going up to
iHeart to do my podcast. I'm not done yet. Had
I given up when so many transitional things happened with
the car, me figuring out my way, taking three buses
to get up there, I could have gave up. Had

(26:40):
it gave up, I would not have the opportunity to
sharpen my skills for the FM dial. Mind as you
the FM dial, that's the number two market in the country,

(27:01):
and I think about it sometimes. I talked to this guy, Chris,
we were together at RMC, and he was like, he
ran the boards for the video A lot of things
that we are implementing with Vitamin D. I did this
years ago, and I never really thought about it till
he brought it to my attention. He said, you made

(27:21):
it to the NBA your radio. What I mean is
is that everybody does he get the opportunity, and you know,
we can't keep walking in fear and shame and hiding
because we'll never know the potential we can reach. And

(27:46):
stopped feeling like you got to hide because God knew
you before you were formed, and these dreams and aspirations.
God put that on all your heart that was designed
for you, and you can't keep looking whatever you quote
unquote call these shortcomings about what you want to do
with your life because you grew up having a mother,

(28:07):
not having a father of vice, versa being unhoused, getting
in an abusive relationship, getting caught on drugs, getting locked
up in prison. It ain't over because if you fall
down seven times get up eight. If you can look up,
you can get up. You can't fail if you don't quit.

(28:29):
Your location is not your destination. I could have looked
at my circumstance and been here where even my assistant
would be plucking me up from the metro being embarrassed
because there was a time I was him and my
mentor boss at the time, she was the radio personality

(28:49):
in New York, had her owned houses, her car, and
I'm just thinking like, wow, this is me. Your location
is not your destination. So my ego and pride could
have pushed all these dreams aside that we're not even
allowed me to connect with Crystal. My shame would have

(29:12):
held me back from sharing this, but I ain't let it.
I just put one foot in front of the other,
because that's Cynthia Mainweather say, a heel ain't nothing to
a stepper. So we gonna walk it out, staying consistent,
staying diligent, stepping out of my comfort zone because I'm

(29:34):
not walking in shame. The opportunity came for the FM
dial only there for five months, but my god, the
impact that I was able to do it. See oftentimes
we got this vision or what we think is supposed
to be like thinking that that's the only way. But
we know the truth by the way that it feels.
And if we stay true the way we feel and

(29:56):
our passion, our desires and truly lead into these uncomforta
spaces zones, we realize we gotta make room for what
God can do. And when I was talking to Miss
Maryland last week, as you know how I had linked
up with them, I was telling her, I was like,
it's so interesting because life be lifing, and it's like,
you really got to try God to know God. And

(30:22):
trying God ain't no joke because when you try God,
the things that you thought that you could lean on
her that you had to rely on, those things, they
ain't there because you got to have God. So everything
that you are used to seeing experiencing talking about a

(30:44):
God thing and see God says exceedingly and abundantly, far
more than what you could ever imagine. So well, we
talk about potential when we talk about being great, you
can't let what you see make you forget what God said.
There's power in this name, there's power in the word,

(31:08):
there's power in you, but you gotta tap into it.
That's probably why they say peace, be still. You truly
gotta let go and not go and control. You gotta flow.
So in my flow, I didn't get caught up on
what I don't have, in the embarrassment of what's going on.
I just thought about the vision and what God promised

(31:30):
me when God placed on my heart. There would have
been more anxiety and nerves to allow myself to recite
in shame because I knew that there was more and
the fact that I would be the person, the obstacle,
the block in my way of doing it. If I
just simply did not get uncomfortable to step into the unknown,

(31:52):
to step into the abyss, to step into the realm
of possibility. But in that moment evolved with what I
thought was embarrassing. Is where I had to bear it
all to you and to connect with you getting comfortable.
So then the FM DOT comes. I am who I
am because I say I am, because you see me

(32:18):
for who I am, and because of that we're able
to connect. I was able to connect with so many
people because I am me, and I'm still figuring it out.
I'm being honest about it. I'm figuring it out. I'm
telling you what I'm nervous about I'm telling you what
I may be ashamed about, and of course I may

(32:39):
keep some things to myself, but for the most part,
you got me. And that's the thing that's so interesting.
When I meet so many and my FM listeners turn
into family members, I'm just like, Wow, I'm about to
tell your stuff about me, and it's like, you already
know me, so now it's an opportunity for me to
get to know you. But I couldn't do that had
I not stay true to me. So then it becomes like, oh, okay,

(33:00):
so what are you going to do? So what are
you going to do with your life? You cannot just
sit there and hear me talk about all these amazing
things that I'm doing because I'm taking a chance, because
I'm getting outside of my comfort zone. And when I
say amazing, the abundance and the money, the opportunity, it's

(33:21):
unraveling but I don't have it right now. But I
still count it a joy because it's happening. But it
wouldn't happen if I don't take a chance, if I
don't get uncomfortable. I said no that I'm able to
show you who I am and have somebody Crystal get uncomfortable.
She said it was when she started listening back in
November and she had manifested her just put it out

(33:42):
there that I want the more, I want to do more,
I want to experience more. And she says she heard
me on that dial and she said, wow. And what
you realized too is was for you will never miss you.
So I could have got distraught and thinking on FM
down like damn, I ain't getting chance to meet none

(34:02):
of my listeners, bro, But they still coming around. They
ain't even leave me. And see, that's why I gotta
remind you stop getting so fixated on what you think.
So I'm supposed to look like what it's supposed to
be like and just go by the way that it feels.
I'm really understanding this concept of truly going with the flowing,

(34:24):
letting things go. I could have got caught up and like,
oh my god, I can't believe this. But I'm just thinking,
like nobody gets stopped what God is doing. And like
I said before, my love of radio started being able
to connect with my personalities the people that are heard

(34:46):
on the radio, and they were passing all these gifts
and I just look at the crowd, even myself, and
I just be so excited to joy, like oh wow,
you see me And now I'm in an opportunity, in
a position where I can see others. But the reason
why because I allow myself to be seen. So I
want to challenge you to allow yourself to be seen.
Step outside of your comfort zone. Please take a chance,

(35:08):
because we're going to die. We're going to die. You
are going to die. I ain't gonna die. We are
going to die. And yes it sounds morbid, but if
you're listening to me, we're still here. We are still
doing aren't they. So why not tap in or open
the door to your big door prize? Why not open

(35:30):
your big door prize? Get what you deserve, take a chance.
Magical things that can happen. So I'm excited to what's
the comp with my newfound friend and Crystal uh and
what she's doing. So yeah, that's what I got, That's

(35:51):
what I got. We got some good things on the horizon.
I don't know why. I don't know why I've begin
some emotional all the time, like girl, oh girl, it
must be like a family thing because my sister is
the same way too. We will bust out in teeears
at the drop of a dime. In fact, I was
talking to my nephew. Wait a minute, Oh my goodness,

(36:12):
my baby's birthday today. Today is Monday, May fifteenth, and
LJ is turning sixteen years old. Happy birthday, LJ. Auntie
loves you. I love you so much and I'm so
proud of you. What child. I don't know. I thought
of my LJ because I would talk to him on

(36:34):
the phone like, I don't know why your auntie is
so dramatic, And he was like, I know, Auntie, because
you know I'll bust out a tear alive and I
can go through the full spectrum of all emotions within
ten minutes. I'm not kidding. I'm not making this up.
People like doing You're so dramatic, I am, but it's
not like a forest. But nevertheless, I say all that
to say, open your big door prize and take a

(36:56):
chance on yourself. Get outside of your comfort zone and
step into the realm of possibility. Hmm. You can't fail
if you don't quit, and don't let you see make
you forget what God said. If it's on your heart,
pursue it. Take a chance. What's the worst that you're
gonna happen. You're gonna die. Well, after you die, you're
not gonna know anymore. But are you gonna want to
live with a life of regret of saying that you

(37:16):
wanted to do something and you simply didn't? Why didn't you?
