Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, and welcome to Waken Jake, myself, Beebes, and the one,
the Only Julia Olive. As we continue tierless season, and
we're moving to a stacked one, some elite talent at
the top, the young talent that has us asking questions
and some vets that man, I mean, I see Sayah

(00:21):
Suzuki and Starlin Martes staring at me. We are doing
the right fielders and one half in a rush Jolly's
head an Arizona. Tomorrow, I'm supposed to go to a
leaders thing and a little bit boring Wolong. Sorry back
to my old radio days. Uh so, we don't even
have the tears yet. We're gonna figure those out on

(00:43):
the fly. I currently have them listed as S tier.
You know that one hold. I have really good, good butt, average,
below average, and oh no, which again we don't normally
like to put players in that oh no category. But
ain't that it? So without further ado, I do think

(01:03):
this is going to point to us to the top
of the list to start. Oh yeah, because that's kind
of how this if we're being honest, this is how
it usually happens. Behind the scene, you gotta figure who
are the fat cats? Up top and that's Jolly's specialty.
How many Okay, if I said, s tire, how many

(01:27):
names do you think you currently have? There?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I mean you took the question out of my mouth.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
I was gonna ask you, how fat do you.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Want to get? Because it could be one. I think
I have my number and it could be five. I
think my number is three.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
I have three, I have three. I'm interested to see
what the people think because I think one is non negotiable.
Ronald Cuny Junior spoiler teasers.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
He was my potential, just one.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Did he just win the MVP?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
He did?

Speaker 1 (02:07):
He stole seventy something.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Basically, yeah, he didn't get the forty forty. He got
the forty seventy. It's a shame.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Strong arm covers ground when he needs to out there.
What's with his defense? Because I feel like it's not below.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
We'll try spreading some myth like he's not a fantastic fielder.
There was like a hustle thing too. The real reality
of it was he was playing his first season off
you know, injury, a significant injury in twenty twenty two,
and then last year full strength won MVP. No One
surprised him.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
R ac Rackham. I think there's no discussion. I think
for this second player there's also no discussion because what
he can do offensively accidentally I think makes him almost
s tier. Every year we'll be starting the year in
right field, and for this we have to continue that.

(03:00):
A new friend of mine, I think one Sodo one
so is here only because he's won SODO.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
That's kind of the main reason.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
That's the whole thing about.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I mean, So, here's my rationale for this top tier.
Here's how I landed at three. It's two things. One
kind of unfair, but like, what's your name?

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Are you a Kuna? Are you Sodolly? Or are you
like I'm a baseball fan and I know this guy's
really good. Do you transcend the sport a little bit?
So that's one. Two is what I have the tier
labeled as. And it's wouldn't shock me at all if
you want MVP, Whereas I think the other two, who
we will talk about, if they want MVP, I would go,

(03:45):
they're a very talented baseball player. But I'd be a
little surprised.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
So I've fallen into an interesting spot and that's why
we love these And so do you subscribe?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Make sure you follow Jolly Olive.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
I My third name I had is s Tier. I
just talked myself.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Out of because I'm in on Fernando Tatis Junior.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
I was in on Fernando Tuttis because he's Fernando Tazzis Junior.
Like you said the name, there are some question marks
about defense. He quelched that, did he go platty?

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Went platty?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
That's pretty good.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
It's pretty good.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
You're one and right. Platty.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Guerrero Junior doesn't work like that.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
We stand with.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
I don't know if you're looking, so if you are,
we can just talk it out. Do you know his
stats from last year?

Speaker 2 (04:32):
They're really good?

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Tatis?

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
What do you count as? What do you think really
good is?

Speaker 2 (04:38):
I was thinking twenty twenty one a little bit. I'm
not gonna lie. They are good, and I fully believe
that he will get better this year. Twenty five Homers,
twenty nine stone basis, I see seven seventy ops. I
know where you're coming from. It was a weird year
in San Diego.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Two fifty seven, seven seventy ops. I would not be
betting against Fernando Tatis Junior this year. I think there's Also,
I think there could be a sprinkle on his MVP.
I think he's going to bounce back. But with some
of the names, we're disgusting.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Jolly oh, I feel gross not putting him up there.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Let us jump to our good friends from the city
of Houston.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
That's the one I feel worse about leaving out.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Yeah, maybe they belong together.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
If I tell you and my all of my friends
in h town.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
We ah that jomboy and single digit number.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
If I have Fernando Tatis Junior above Kyle Tucker.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Yeah, heads will roll.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
But like heads will roll, they made a pinata of him.
People forget that the John Boy pinata on Google search
one day.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
One day the mustache and beard. It'll connect.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Who was to round this out? I think we have
the same fifth name. Yeah, who I don't know?

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Are they on the next year?

Speaker 1 (06:04):
We're still sorting, I think, I think, But I think
who's the fifth name you had?

Speaker 2 (06:09):
It's Corbyn Carroll? Ah is that not who you have?

Speaker 1 (06:13):
It is? But there was a name that I thought
you were getting spicier on.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Oh I see, uh No, for me, it's Corbyn Carroll.
I mean you do the two Dodgers and the two
Braves and then it was him an MVP voting last year,
which is pretty significant to me. He's silly, yeah, like
he's he was twenty two last year, like he had
that season and he took his team in the World
Series and like those things all matter, and I the

(06:38):
interesting thing about him is that we don't really know
how good it's gonna get yet, and like, I think
there's reasonably it'll get even better, right, And I think
he fits well in this category because of that, because
we haven't seen the best yet. We saw the best
of Fernando Tatis Junior, but it was in twenty twenty one.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Steroids, Yes, steroids and then a seven to seventy oh ps.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Yeah, but it's.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
The covering from Ringworm, Jacob.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
It strikes kind of like the uh, what was the
office run? They did Rabies, We should do the Fernando
the Fernando Tatis Ringworm fun run. You can tell literally
everyone at John Boy Media is dying. That's also part

(07:29):
of the reason we're we're going through this one a
little tightier. Here's what I think we can do for now.
For now, because Corbyn Carroll, you can make an argument
if his numbers tick up let's put on the line
below Ronald Coune Junior and Juan Soto. Let's put Tucker

(07:53):
Corbyn Carrol, who's the fifth I'm playing for now them again?
No no, no, no no. I originally had Tatis on
that top line because I do think he's gonna.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Face Yeah, now that this makes sense in my brain
a little bit. I mean, you can play the one
soda defense game a little bit, but it's still one.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
So though his his offense is still.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
That good and like he feels kind of gross.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
For what I can guarantee you one Soto's offenses, Corbyn Carroll.
I'm if he took a baby step back in some
numbers this year, I don't think anyone would be like shocked. No,
Fernando Tatis, let's see you do it again, right, Kyle
Tucker gets hurt by just being really good. What's his

(08:41):
best skill? I mean, what is Kyle Tucker's best skill?

Speaker 2 (08:45):
I think his well roundedness is right well, which is
kind it's a cop out, but that is what it is.
Because he basically has.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
He almost stolen bases, which is crazy.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
He has almost thirty homers on the Dot for the
past three seasons. He goes thirty nine. It is a
remarkably consistent player.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Like if I was able to get like a blind
like scouting report, I don't know what his would say. Yeah,
because he is just good at everything. When you get
the glabor, he's a ballplayer.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Yeah, like I don't know a strength or a weakness.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Yeah good, this guy's just good.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Okay, looking around, a lot of pretty faces still left
on our board.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
I mean, bubbles are nuts.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah, they're like nuts, all five of these guys.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Is he happy?

Speaker 1 (09:34):
The problem is how many times has he won MVP
on his own team? I know, Like that's if Bregman
or l Tuve or Korea or Springer on this list
somewhere stay tuned that. I'm I'm happy with that for now.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Let's I have an easy one. We can kind of
bang out, Okay.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
I was going to jump to the bottom just because
I'm a little Let's do that. Sometimes I feel like
we wait on that and I then it gets Usually
that second to third tier is where the real the
grind begins.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Yeah, I guess.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
And then let's be honest. There's a couple fellas on here.
Sean Bouchard, I'm not familiar with your game, turn off
the mic bro reverse, Kyle Tucker. I want to know,
but I don't cool name. I'm going to put him
on the bottom for now.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
How many tears are on your guys list curve?

Speaker 1 (10:32):
I started with one, two, three, four, five, six tiers.
I feel like that's my safe number.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
All right, Jake? I mean, I'm just saying Sean Buchard's
career in nine ninety one obs Okay, that's pretty cool.
I didn't know that time.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
How many games is that?

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Forty eight? Not zero and not triple A. It's enough
to be excited, shon Hive. Can we keep it real?

Speaker 1 (10:55):
I didn't need to see that. You thought he was
Nolan Jones before we started. I did, okay, I he
did well whenever strongest arm in the game? I picture
right field.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
And I can't say that without acknowledging that I had
no guess as to who it was. So that's on me.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Do I have to move Sean? I love Sean. I
want him on the Yanks? Okay? So edw Yes pirates
ed okay? So Dom Fletcher does he have any stats?
I feel like he played okay last year.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
He at least had like a week.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
And MLB the show left. He had a nice little
cup of coffee.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
His card was nice.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
He had a nice little cup of coffee.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Twenty eight games.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Edward Olivaris last two seasons one nine ops plus, one
hundred and sixty games on me, Edward oliv Why is
right field like deep as hell?

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Everyone's fine, at least fine.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
This is Seth Brown, the Oakland A. I'm looking at am.
I gonna open Seth Brown's page and like.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
He's got some nice some nice stretches. He can give you.
Four weeks is our entire if he was the extra
outfielder you'd bestowing.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Career, Our entire bottom tier is at least like a
one to ten ops plus. That's kind of nuts, that's
kind of creasy.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Okay, maybe we shouldn't have gone to the bottom. Who
don want Like Mitch Hanniger, You're hurt a lot.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Ramon Loriano has to be I think you'd like to
think at this point twenty.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Nine a long time ago, Ramone Loriano. Is this Lane
Thomas with the nets?

Speaker 3 (12:26):
My god, his numbers.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Thomas is cracked.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
I does anybody in the nets. We have to respect
It's Lane Thomas.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Holy smokes, all right, that just changed everything.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
So the bottom tier is a mess. I have a
good I'll do my good.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Mid tier Okay, it's three dudes, Okay.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
They all play in the central, they're all young, they've
all got a ton of upside, South Freelick, Jordan Walker,
Riley Green, Eddy. One of those three guys could break
out in twenty twenty four for any assortment of different reasons.
Riley's got a special glove. Sal's got speed and defensive upside.

(13:09):
Jordan Walker has a really nice swing.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
So okay, if we're viewing this as young guys with serious.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Potential, in which tier is this?

Speaker 1 (13:20):
That's what we're figuring out? Yeah, young, because young guys
with serious Jordan Walker has serious potential serious, Riley Green
has serious potential. Free Luck has potential to be really good.
I think he doesn't have the same high end potential
as those guys WHOA I don't know, is that rude?

Speaker 2 (13:42):
What's our friend?

Speaker 1 (13:43):
I mean? Handsome, strong, short, and maybe.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
His ceiling is a step below theirs.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Yeah, I would. I think he was picked higher than
Jordan Walker in the same draft.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
I think he has a much lower floor different drafts.
By that, Okay, I guess if I'm looking for young studs.
I see Will Benson. Yeah, holy shit, Josh low Josh
Lowe sends me to the hills. That guy has all

(14:17):
the talent in the world. Yes, okay, so then I.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
Don't want to say the name Mickey Moniac to you,
but he's gonna have to go something.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
If we're talking draft picks, yeah, and we're talking performance.
So let's make one of the middle lines probably this,
I have the fourth line right now. Okay, we'll see
what happens.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
The default to see tier.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Young with crazy potential. Yeah, and that would be Jordan Walker. Yeah,
played horrid defense last year, shockingly bad. Hate to be
burned for the first some of the clips were bizarre,
but also at twenty one years old, had like a

(14:58):
one thirteen ops plus one fifteen whole season. I'll put
Josh Lowe on there.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
That guy Rakes, Yeah, how big was this power?

Speaker 3 (15:09):
No idea what his age is?

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Okay, let's put Will Benson on that line as well.
Let us put Seal Freelick on that line as well.
And I feel like, was there one other guy Riley
and Moniac both, Let's just put him on the same
line for now. And if there's someone that we look

(15:34):
at and you're like, hey, you either got to be
upboard down right.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Okay, it's it's taking form for me. Now. This is
good because I've got like in below and a tier
below that. I think even though we've had this conversation
with like should you put major leaguers below the potential guys?
But tier below that, I have like a renfro Hanneger Yustremski, Kepler,

(16:05):
Kepler's weird, Kepler's.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
What do you guys think? What are you guys thinking?
When I say the name Haesus Sanchez?

Speaker 2 (16:12):
He's in there for me as well. Okay, I got
right now, I'm just trying to put people in groups
and then separate them based on that.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Okay, okay, how about this.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
To be bottom tier Bouchard, But.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
I think we're gonna have to reset that. Like I'm
a Bouchard hive guy. He's completely won me over. Yes,
I think that's where and this is my brain. So
I'm sorry, fellas, but I you know, I feel like
that young, crazy potential line just helped us. What if
we go young without crazys? No, because all right, I'm

(17:01):
gonna go young and played well and I don't know
what to do with you yet, And I don't know
we will get fun names for these.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
What if I like you used to be young with
crazy potential?

Speaker 1 (17:18):
Okay, easy with that crazy Darling Marte. Yeah, So who
were the young guys that freaked me out before? Dom Fletcher?
I feel like if he was on my team and
I looked at his stats, I would have liked him.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Though there might not be a bad player.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
On this year list, Edward. Right now it's jess Ramon
Loreano on the bottom, which is super rude. I like it,
and you know he's calling you and respond him and
I still like him defensively when he's not hurt.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
How old Seth?

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Now, Seth, you have a tiny penis?

Speaker 2 (17:56):
I have to.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
He's thirty one, Che's and biscuits, so he's not going
on the young line last year, I'll tell you who's
gonna end up on the same line and Seth Brown
Bay Area old homeless?

Speaker 3 (18:16):
I felt super rude. That's just a real thing.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
I just don't believe in that. And Mitch Haniger uh
was there one other?

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (18:25):
So I have on the same line Dom Fletcher, Sean Bouchard,
Edward Olevares, and I don't know and Jesus Sanchez.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
I had Seth Brown down there.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
Well, I'm I'm group I'm getting the young guy because
I know what Seth Brown is. I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Okay, So I like that. So we have Bouchard and
on one line above that Seth Brown, Mike Stremsky, Sanchez.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Okay, yeah, kind of yeah. Oh I just added two
rows Chris Rose. Okay, So the young and played kind
of well. But I don't know. I have Fletcher, Bouchard, Olivars,
and Sanchez.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
I don't see any other young guys that I can
regret in a year or two the fact that these
guys could get better, and I'm like, oh wow, yes
they took a step up.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
I like that. Okay, so let's work. Let's go from
the bottom. Okay, bottom is Romo Mariano.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
I hate it. I'd rather not have it on the page.
Maybe just call someone up.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
Above that we have Bouchard, Olivars, Fletcher, Sanchez, Sanchez. Yes,
you have the barrier you guys together above that.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
So I have a little tier in the middle for
kind of like older injury prone type play.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
This might have our most tears.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Maybe I have Hanneger, Marte and unfortunately this feels wrong
Jason Hayward together because Hayward had a really good year
last year, but before that we thought his career was
like over right, that's kind of where he's he's at.
For me, the middle of this is MESSI.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Does anyone deserve to be on the Bay Area line
like you sent stromsky Seth Brown does? Does Hanneger deserve
to be there? Does Marte deserve to be there? Like
and Hanneger a year ago was in the Bay Area Renfro.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
I mean last year fifteen homers, one thirteen ops plus
and he moves that.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
Okay, it's not bad.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
It was a good player. I mean the Giants kind
of spawn a lot of those players, Like that's their
whole lineup using the word spawn there. They just produced
them spring that to baseball. So I mean, like, what
exactly do you do with that? Because clearly he's a
part of that team that they value so much so

(21:10):
that they got rid of Michniger.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Who would you rather have for this upcoming season? You
stp Hanneger, h Hanneger back in the Maritors UNI.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
I think I would go because I feel like I
know a much safer.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Bad, Seth Brown or Mit it's super rude, but I
think it's Hannager.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
I think it's.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
Hunter, Rent Hunter, Renfro or Mitch.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Was pretty bad last year.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
It's I think it's I think that's right Renfro or
Seth Brown that we could just play this game all day.
That's just America. It's it's super rude. I like if
Seth Brown had had his career on the Red Sox,
we'd be like, Seth Brown, it's pretty damn good.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
You know what we should do?

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Ted Brown plays ball.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
I think it's easier instead of us focusing on Seth Brown.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Can pepper the monster? What kind of like Seth.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Frown, where's he from?

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Kind of got rudy at the end?

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Oregon not what I thought need that. I think the
middle between our young guys with crazy potential and our
s tier or a tier excuse me, has.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
So that currently S tier. The row below that Tatis Carol,
Tucker Blank and then young with crazy potential, right, I
currently think there's one row above that.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
I think I could put two rows, but I'm curious
to see if you have.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
Made out two tiers between the young guys and the Tucker.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
Well, let's let's talk about I think you're right. I
think you're what I see.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
And I'll kick off the discussion by saying, I think
there is a tier of guys below at the least,
because I think that he is what i'd consider to
be like the third tier right fielder right now.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
So you want Garcia on the third tier?

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yeah, I do too. If we're calling that b tears.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
He's great.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
That's great at a least at least least I feel bad.
I try my best. I'm a huge fan. He has
gotten better every year. He had his World Series moment.
I didn't realize he had thirty nine regular.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
Forty last year. She's a crow, got a canon for
an arm. I mean, if you want to complain about strikeouts,
you have your argument there. But he also walked ten percent.
I don't care about striking exactly, especially when he's that.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
If you're doing the rest of what he's doing, if
you're good at everything else, I don't care. Yeah, and
he is. I have someone I think has to be
paired with him.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
Who is it?

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Anthony Some.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
I also have him right there. I already laid it
out to see if I would agree with you.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
For having twenty eight home runs. He had a very
similar ops plus as Adolis Garcia right three to one
twenty one uh, and he's done it back to back years.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
He's also kind of a guy that I feel like,
like Adelas can get forgotten in his team's very good
lineup a little bit, whereas if he was like on
the Nationals, he would maybe be a guy that we
couldn't ignore, right, Like maybe another guy that fits on
this tier.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
I think I have another guy, And I think it's
an unpopular opinion for probably lane stream baseball people, but
you're listening to Wake and Jake with me, Johl and
Beibes Lane Lane.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
I think the three of them are the B tier
of right fielders. I kinda I picked that out kind
of quick, and I was like, yeah, I do think
they are a little bit of a level above the
younger improving guys. And there's also like some right fielders
who do it, they get you at thirty homers, they
might have a piece missing from their game, whereas these
guys like Laye Thomas is a very well rounded good

(25:14):
ball player who went twenty to twenty last season, twenty
eight home runs one fourteen ops plus, somehow didn't get traded, Yeah,
which I understand. I feel people woul pay atenlaste traded
to like a contending team.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
I have something slightly obnoxious, and it's it's the game.
I like playing with these tiers. As I currently look
at Adoles, Anthony Santander and Lane Thomas, I think you
could debate. I think, depending how your team is built,
you could debate Adoles in Santander all day. Does Lane

(25:54):
really deserve to be on the line with them? Like,
you know what I'm saying, he had a one fourteen
ops plus I think if we asked anyone in the office,
and this is a little bit I guess not anti Nats,
but you know how these guys are viewed.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
Is he being cheerleader affected? Right now? I just.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
Laane Thomas in his three hundred and forty so putting
his Saint Louis time behind him with the Nationals, he
has a seven to sixty three ops. Now he's gotten better. Yeah,
but even his peak year, which is last year non negotiable,
it was a seven eighty three ops. Like it feels

(26:34):
like he has to take a step up to join
Adules in Santander.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
You have with an attitude right now.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
I know with that perspective, Jake, I would like to
ask you if you would pull up Anthony Santander's baseball
reference page.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Okay, I'm honest, similar because I think that's pretty similar
to what he's done.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
Really surprisingly, I I it it felt different, and it is.
It is a tick better the last years. It's better
the last two years, but it's one twenty one to
twenty one ops plus those two years. He's a career
seven sixty three if Thomas since running the Nats is
do we say seven sixty three ops? That's that's right there.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
Now. It feels like we're getting nitpicky, and I think the.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Easy solution it's a little nitpicky.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
I think the easier solution is promoting at Les.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Hmmm.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
If you guys had your pick of the three players,
is it? I think he plays the best defense too.
Not sure about Lane.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
He he if you needed him to play center, he's fine.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Layne says, speeding defensive upside guy.

Speaker 3 (27:42):
Lane I think does can play center field. Of these three, Santanderra's.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Adulies he just got moved because.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Oh yeah they do. They have center fielders. Santander, these
three is the weakest defender, and I think he's still
a plus in the corners.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
I don't mind bumping up Garcia.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
I'd bump them up.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
With k Tuck, Corbin and Fernando hit forty homers last year.
The World Series is the New?

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Is the New? Greatest? Ever? Do it?

Speaker 1 (28:08):
Kind of? I'm leaving my heart open. I just moved
him up.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Okay, I just moved him up.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
So now that I'm looking at Santan, it feels better,
and Lane Thomas feels better.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Does anyone go with them?

Speaker 1 (28:24):
I have one name, I have one that I'm completely
unsure about. I have one I like, and I have
one that I think surprises the people.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
Do you want to do the one you're sure about?
Because I think I know it too, and I want
to say it with you.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
The name I feel the best about is Nick.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
That is not what I was going to say.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
Okay, Nick Cassianos defensively not strong. I think he has
gotten better, isn't Doesn't he have his signature sliding catch? Now?

Speaker 2 (28:57):
They play him very well. The defense strategy of the
Phillies caters to Casiana strengths.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
I've got last year where he had a one to
twelve ops plus twenty nine homers one hundred and six RBI.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
The year before that he struggled with Philly.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
His twenty twenty one with Cincy was at a different level.
I don't know, I've seen him in the postseason. I
feel like I know what I'm gonna get from him.
Although the postseason numbers aren't great and olds against the
Braves as holy smokes, I forgot this was the postseason
of everyone taking turns like being disgusting for a game

(29:35):
and a half and you'd be like, dude, this guy's
having a six series. And then you'd look at the
numbers and you're like, oh, oh, yeah, it was just
those he homered in four out of six at bats.
Who's the name you were thinking of?

Speaker 2 (29:47):
I was thinking of a guy that has done it
with the stick his two years in baseball, sure quietly
a very important piece to his team's lineup. I was thinking, say, Suzuki.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
He was one of the names that I've I think
people would be surprised when they looked at the rosstaft.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
I didn't eight forty two ops last year. I sure
did got better than your one. He's a guy that
if you like a well rounded player, if you go
to a savant page. The only weak thing you can
really say about him is he kind of has a
weak arm for a right fielder, which does count for something.
But plus arm strength plus speed, he's got the pop.
Now that kind of came around twenty home runs last year,

(30:23):
and there's reasonably if he'll continue to improve. He's only
gonna be twenty nine years old. I think he fits
pretty well with those other three guys.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
It's gonna be his third year in the league, right.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
There's an argument, by the way, that contract looks awesome
for what he does.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
He's he's hit and hitting.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
Yeah, twenty million next year, Like I'd pay twenty million
for that production.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
He's making twenty mil next year. Yeah, I mean it
is worthwhile. I think it's it was twenty one. Can
you do something for me? Okay, good for you. I
have dinner on Saya. I thought I was about to
look down and see like eleven MILLI year he got
the bag pop good for you? Uh yeah, no, he
was on my list of like I think people would

(31:06):
be surprised what the actual numbers are.

Speaker 4 (31:08):
Right.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
Part of that is because he got like half benched
for a little bit last year, But that was like
a week.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
Moving up at at least fixed everything. Okay, but now
the question becomes, what do you do with Springer and Kepler?

Speaker 1 (31:23):
Because Papa George was my I'm deferring to you guys.
I love George Springer, Connecticut guy, New Britain, where I
went to college. That's where he's from. He's a Yukon guy.
Yukon's my my one b Yankees. The leadoff homers are crazy.
The postseason stuff is crazy. He took a step back last.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
Year, I know, and he was finally healthy, which is
the upsetting thing. I think they low ad managed him
a little bit too, and he got he finally got
some right field time, primarily over center field. I mean,
he's still got counting stats. He like, you know, he
went twenty two on which I feel like I've said
he went twenty twenty for about half the I mean,
it'll I think it'll always be a little sexy to me,

(32:07):
but I understand the context of the league. And yeah,
he is getting up there in age. Hen be thirty
four years old. He's not a center fielder anymore. He's
not really looked at as like a key cog of
the Blue Jays. Offense going.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
He's just sort of sort of territory.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
So I don't know because I I don't know if
I take him over any of those four guys, I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
So do you do you think Casianos deserves to be
there because there's a little when you look at rass stats,
I think there's an argument against if.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
We do uh last three years butter knife, which we
like to do a lot.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Have you included since the years.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
I do include a since Okay, it's not that long ago,
and he was incredibly good and that's how he got
paid in the first place. I don't think that it
should go against him because it was longer. It is
great American small park, and it is it's come on,
come on, come on, since the fans and the last
two years since have not been even close to it.

(33:04):
But he did it, and it counts.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
He bounced back. He's a constant threat, which I like, guy.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
I might have it in that C tier level. So
we're going below these guys. So that's how the kids
normally do this. It's s.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
Normal tears.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
There's like I think I have Springer Marte Caniger.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
I'll come out right away and say it's too high
for Marte.

Speaker 3 (33:40):
And it's just and the tear is willing to throw
out last year, Oh okay, and I'd be and as
kind of a rude inclusion, I'd be willing to put
Hayward in there as like, I don't know if that
for all of you. I don't think last year's who
you are?

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Boy, Okay, I'm I'm I'm now in a pickle because man,
that young with crazy potential. I was I was thinking
there was going to be a row above where I
was showing respect to guys. I don't think there is.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
I don't think there.

Speaker 3 (34:18):
It feels like they might need to be below them.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
Josh Low versus any of the guys we're now mentioning Springer, Hayward, Kepler, Hanneger,
even Castio. So I'm kind of struggling with I don't know. No,
we're allowing twenty twenty one.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Yeah, I think he gets a pass.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
He's still like good last year.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Oh but what about Mexican Kepler had a good year
last time?

Speaker 1 (34:42):
Yeah, what's up with that?

Speaker 3 (34:43):
I might be willing to say to throw out last
year too with him. Oh, I don't know, he's just
been so weird his two years take care of that.
He's good.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
D He's got that twenty nineteen sticking out, which is
always really tough for me.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
That's a while ago. That's a while ago, and that
ball was juicy. Well that's why it's tough for me,
because it does stick out. And then you look at
the ear and you go, wow, why was he good
last year? That throws me off.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
What's go into some splits?

Speaker 3 (35:14):
They were like, gonna be done with him, and then
then they're like, oh, I guess we have to pick
up his option.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
I mean, well, I guess my point either way. And
now Mickey Moniac's face looking at me, super Funky is
playing the game of who I'd rather have next year.
I think all those young guys I would still believe
in more than Kepler because of his previous two years
and what I think Jordan Walker, Low Benson, Freelick, Green

(35:48):
and Moniac. Although I'm a little heasy hey on him
former one one pick someone on there's going down, it's him.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
But I think I'm only upset with one of these
guys in this in this club that we've.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
Created, the youngs are the old old.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
Okay, youngs are are think I think are locked.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
So are we putting all the olds on a row? Springer, Hayward, Hanneger, Kepler, Marte.
You it's just shuffalo clock. I don't have wherever we
put renfro Bottom. I had him in Bay Area, which
I guess we can read.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Whatever you want.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
At the bottom below board. I can't.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
You got pastor on last year? Wong them. I think
I have to put Springer in b I do. He
played one hundred and fifty games last year and it
was above average bat. He's still George Springer in the field.
The arm is not what it used to be.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
What do you want to I.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
Think I got it. I think we have to add
another tier. I think I think Springer and Castillanos deserve
their own tier together for one one year. I will
ride with those dudes over the young guys, because those
young guys could take a step back. Jordan Walker might
not be able to field.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
They could well.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
I really like Benson kind of came out of note.
He was playing ping pong with us, and then he
was one of the best corner outfielders for the Reds.
Not sure what that was about. Even Freelick playing a
little infield. I I don't know what that's about. I
think Riley Green's.

Speaker 2 (37:27):
Gonna be really good carried the offense for like too much.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
Moniac I half believe in.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
But for next years, I like Casti and Springer together.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
Okay, there's something that feels okay, okay, so let's do that.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
But but that's below. So that's below Santanter, Layne, Thomas Sinsea.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
Yes, okay, okay, So here's feels better. Here's what we're
doing here where I lost George Springer?

Speaker 2 (38:00):
What a This is a war of attrition right field.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
Goodness, I'm dreaming.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
I'm up to nineties.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
Christmas am I at nineties one, two, three, five, six, seven, eight.

Speaker 3 (38:19):
I have nine you know where to add the ninth.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
I have a Young between Young and b.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
So I have Cassiano Spring above Young, yep, I have
Hayward Kepler, Hanneger Marte below Young below Young.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
That's it and after it's a fucking where.

Speaker 1 (38:39):
This is an honest question, not trying to do any
Yankees malarchy on you. What's up with Sarling Marte?

Speaker 2 (38:47):
So that's why it scares me.

Speaker 1 (38:49):
In the numbers scare well.

Speaker 2 (38:51):
I have a little bit more knowledge on him, obviously,
because I'm double groin surgery is a really tough thing
to bounce back, that's.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
What he has.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
It means that things are not al right down there, like.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
Both the areas you would stretch when you're doing like
a warm up.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
Yes, that's a ton on each side, like injury build
up twice or each Listen. I wasn't there in the room, guys, Okay,
What I do know is that his mobility was incredibly
limited last year. He's going to be load managed this year.
They might. They're thinking about dhing him at some points
to give him off days. They're year three of the deal,

(39:31):
and that's kind of a mess. So I don't know
how how much of a bounce back is realistic for
him right now. I really don't because I don't know
how much longer's you be playing right field. But that
being said, I'd love for him to go out there
and still twenty paces. So he does feel kind of
fair in that Mitch Haniger territory of like it was

(39:51):
like bad last year and you like to believe that
it could get better. I just I don't know the
Once we get past young, this thing gets so messy
and I can't sort it.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
I'm gonna look at laser ramon stats one more time.
Why Sneaky racked up a little bit of war last year?

Speaker 3 (40:17):
He had a week?

Speaker 2 (40:19):
Isn't he also juice ball.

Speaker 1 (40:20):
Played better in Cleveland than Oakland?

Speaker 3 (40:23):
He did?

Speaker 2 (40:24):
He did.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
Strong arm, strong arm. Here's where I'm getting thrown off.
Starling and Hanneger worry me injury wise? Yes, Hayward and
Kepler kind of like BBD said with the one year thing,
Hayward's old but has Dodgers magic, so what matters? Kepler,

(40:50):
it was always kind of thought he was supposed to
be good. He just wasn't. Yastremsky's numbers kind of crazy.

Speaker 3 (41:01):
He's good.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
Huh Yeah, I think I think something clicked for me.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
Like as famous of a last name as you can
have in baseball doesn't make it to the show until
twenty eight, got kicked out of a bad Orioles organization,
and he's just been good.

Speaker 2 (41:14):
Yeah, like consistent, His numbers are good.

Speaker 3 (41:16):
Yeah, it's just good player.

Speaker 1 (41:17):
Like I could see Giants fans being mad at me
for having Castillanos far away from Yastremski. I mean, how
good is You're good? Casianos wins that last three years.

Speaker 2 (41:31):
Castianos wins that a lot, even even last two years
still wins that.

Speaker 1 (41:36):
That's true, so it would be a good counter to
those giants fans jolly good job, no problem, good job.
Get out of the comments I.

Speaker 2 (41:43):
Have because of either their last year or the year
before that. Kepler, Hayward, brown yass together like a one
ten ops plus bad. They do either athleticism in the field,

(42:03):
well they throw the ball, well one of those. They're
not really going to steal your bases, and they're just
at this point you think you know what you're getting
with them kind of thing, Whereas there's way too many
question marks for me with both Marte and Hanniger to
put them with those four.

Speaker 1 (42:24):
So you're kind of out on Renfro.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
Am I wrong to be out on Renfro because you've
been kind of attached to him this entire time.

Speaker 1 (42:32):
So he was the model of consistency until last year.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
Yeah, that's true. Him playing in Kaufman scares me because
I feel like every fly ball is going to get
to the warning track.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
One of my deepest, darkest secrets is if the Royals
just have magic this year, it could be awesome. It
could be fucking awesome.

Speaker 2 (42:55):
You can't quit them every time I sit in this chair.
You're talking about the Royals.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
Hunter Renfro had ops in the eights in twenty one
and twenty two. I was about to do a whole
royal sing I won't wack a Lugo Brady Singer, Spo
any Pasquentino, MJ. Melendez, MLB the show.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
I mean, so, what do you want to do with him?
Does he go with those four?

Speaker 1 (43:21):
I can't even look at Ramon's face anymore cause it's
making me sick at the bottom.

Speaker 2 (43:26):
I have Ramone with Martin and Hanneger.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
Does your heart believe that? Yes, my heart believes it enough.
I just need to hear it elsewhere.

Speaker 2 (43:38):
Because they're all kind of a similar profile, like things
have not gone well for them the past three Hungred
and sixty five.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
Days, I mean negative war. Last year from Hannager.

Speaker 2 (43:47):
Marte, I mean was a negative war. I'm pretty sure too.

Speaker 1 (43:49):
Hanneger's had one good season in four years.

Speaker 2 (43:55):
Okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 1 (43:58):
So you have Hanneger, Loriano and who Marte? Those three
and what line is that at the bottom.

Speaker 2 (44:09):
Second to last?

Speaker 3 (44:11):
What's last?

Speaker 2 (44:13):
Bouchard Olivari's Fletcher?

Speaker 1 (44:16):
So the young and played well folks. You're willing to
put them on the bottom because I spent half of
this episode falling in love with them.

Speaker 2 (44:24):
You want to move them out?

Speaker 3 (44:25):
Dom Fletcher, I have them above right now.

Speaker 2 (44:27):
OK, let's move them up, and then the foursome of Kepler, Hayward,
Brown Yazz are above those youngins.

Speaker 3 (44:42):
And wears.

Speaker 2 (44:42):
Hunter Renfro I don't know.

Speaker 3 (44:45):
I have him in his own tier right now.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
How to Renfro teer.

Speaker 3 (44:51):
Make it a clean Smarling Marte could have a good year.

Speaker 2 (44:54):
I I am having a tough time believing it.

Speaker 3 (44:59):
I have Hunter Renfrons his own tiers, and he's old, he.

Speaker 2 (45:02):
Had a really tough injury to come back from, and
I watched him play a lot last year, and I
really he was the key to the Mets in twenty
twenty two. I really don't know. I think they're just
riding out this contract. It feels kind of mean. I'm sorry,
but it's tough, man. A lot of years running on

(45:25):
those legs.

Speaker 1 (45:28):
Are currently Jason Hayward and Max Kepler in their own category.

Speaker 2 (45:32):
With the Bay Area guys.

Speaker 1 (45:33):
That's what I have.

Speaker 3 (45:34):
All four of them made a tier called Bay Area
and it's currently right below young with crazy potential.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
Starling Marte is a strong arm, right, he does.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
Okay, but can he get to the ball to then
throw it?

Speaker 1 (45:51):
Kepler Hayward just moved Frost.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
I really didn't have the bottom being harder than the
top on my bit card.

Speaker 1 (46:01):
Well, here's the fun part of these exercises and why
I think some people like them. Starling Marte could be
a very good baseball player next year. Loreano would be surprising.
It's been a minute, he's been good, and he's got
an injury history. Mitch Hanneger when he plays, is usually

(46:23):
pretty good.

Speaker 2 (46:24):
Yeah, like you almost had forty home runs in twenty
twenty one.

Speaker 1 (46:28):
Hunter Renfro is a season removed from this, coming off
of two eight oh ps years, basically a lock for
thirty homers. So my soul is really struggling putting Dom Fletcher,
Sean Bouchard, Edward Olavares, who what's the most game those

(46:49):
guys have played in a season?

Speaker 2 (46:51):
But better if those last two.

Speaker 3 (46:52):
Baby, I'm willing to put those three we currently have
in the bottom, adding Hunter Renfro to them and putting
them above the young and played well and naming that
tear strong arm.

Speaker 1 (47:07):
That's what I that's what I currently Loriano Marte Renfro.

Speaker 3 (47:15):
It's above average, yeah, sixty second percentile. The others are
very strong.

Speaker 1 (47:20):
Arm is that like arms an injured?

Speaker 2 (47:25):
Yeah, like re armed, something like that.

Speaker 1 (47:31):
There's something there, there's something arms and injured. I'll get
when my brain comes with that.

Speaker 3 (47:40):
And that does have me as only eight tiers with
guys in it again.

Speaker 1 (47:44):
Yeah, I currently have an empty tier and Bay Area
will have to be renamed bottom.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
I have just became your biggest fan because that was
very true with Sean Bochard and kind of Edward, all
of them.

Speaker 1 (47:55):
Yeah, I think this is that row of Don Flesher,
Sean Bouchard, Edward Olavarrees and Hayes Sanchez. I fell in
love with him for a week. I mean, for me,
the idea that's popped into my head is like when
you fall in love with someone on the train, like oh,

(48:19):
the train crush, just like you know, like nothing's gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (48:23):
Right, You'll never speak to them, but you've kind of
seen them like four different times.

Speaker 1 (48:27):
And you know, like almost in your head if you
see them again, Like I don't know, I'm gonna put
train crush for now. Train crush train crush.

Speaker 2 (48:39):
No one's gonna get unless they listen.

Speaker 1 (48:41):
Good good, Oh.

Speaker 3 (48:43):
People know the train crush.

Speaker 1 (48:45):
So I've got so everyone's placed Seth Brown, Kepler, Yeah,
and Hayward. I want to look at Seth Brown's page
one more time in my head, I definitely would prefer
or the other guys.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
He's got a ballplayer's name and that matters to me.
Like Seth Brown, that's a ballplayer's name.

Speaker 1 (49:08):
He's got a positive ops plus, but he also man,
he's kind of gallowing on us career two twenty seven
batting average. I don't think Seth Brown plays a lot
of defense. I could be wrong there.

Speaker 3 (49:23):
My understanding is it's a negative defense.

Speaker 1 (49:26):
If Seth Brown was on a lot of other teams,
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (49:31):
You don't like that eight point four walk percentage on his.

Speaker 3 (49:33):
Career strong side of the platoon.

Speaker 2 (49:41):
You want him down train crush.

Speaker 1 (49:45):
He's not a train crush. Oh who would you rather
have for next season? No? Here we go, Seth Brown,
renfro or renfrom It's close. It depends what if you
needed a left ear right? Yes, le platoon.

Speaker 2 (50:06):
We put them together in their own tier and that
we say this should be a platoon.

Speaker 3 (50:11):
Platoon these two Renfro.

Speaker 1 (50:13):
I guess that My worry is Renfro is not actually
a big platoon split guy. I don't know if either
of them are.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
Who cares they should be a platoon. They kind of
look similar to.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
No, well that's where I mean. Renfro looks like Trout
kind of famously, right, Seth Brown, can you hit lefties?

Speaker 3 (50:36):
Well, we would hit I think he can't look at all.

Speaker 1 (50:39):
Can't hit lefties. But he's supposed to be the right man, right,
That's what I'm saying. So if I get Hunter Renfro.

Speaker 3 (50:45):
Did last year, he become this platoon.

Speaker 1 (50:48):
Guy on a Renfro so comically Hunter Renfro, he hits
lefties in his career.

Speaker 2 (50:56):
It's done. Make these two a platoon.

Speaker 1 (50:59):
Okay, so we're adding another row? Is that under what
was known as Bay area?

Speaker 2 (51:04):
Yes? And above arms and injured?

Speaker 1 (51:08):
Where do you have train crush bottom bottom?

Speaker 2 (51:11):
Really?

Speaker 1 (51:13):
I have train crush above? Okay?

Speaker 4 (51:18):
Platoon US platoonas pat platoon these two. Okay, Okay, so
that's Seth, that's Renfro platoon US in your seventh hole.

Speaker 1 (51:34):
Yeah, okay, nice, I want arms and injured on the bottom. Okay,
I'd rather have hope than that.

Speaker 2 (51:45):
Okay, your show.

Speaker 1 (51:48):
So now it's Hayward, Hayward, Yeas and Kepler. We got
some lefties.

Speaker 2 (51:54):
There, yeah, oh yeah, some with that.

Speaker 1 (51:57):
Hayward was a top prospect you stream ski his granddaddy
or daddy granddaddy right, granddaddy was an all time baseball player.
And then Max Max Skip Max Kepler the best hitter
from Germany ever.

Speaker 3 (52:15):
Got all three of them just older than you think.
Ayward I do think is old.

Speaker 1 (52:20):
Heyward's old.

Speaker 2 (52:22):
He's about as old as I think as is half old.

Speaker 3 (52:26):
I because there's something about late blooming with those three.

Speaker 2 (52:29):
So are the tiers set? We're just trying to be
creative kind of think that's kind of set.

Speaker 3 (52:35):
So I think we just can't have that still be
named Bay Area.

Speaker 5 (52:38):
Yeah, yeah, uh yeah, there's something later in life that's interesting.

Speaker 3 (52:50):
Thirty is the new twenty.

Speaker 1 (52:52):
Yeah, thirty flirty and thriving something like that. You guys
aren't even there yet. You don't even know. Thirty flirty
and thriving.

Speaker 2 (53:04):
Young with crazy potential. I think we can keep it.

Speaker 3 (53:06):
That's fine. I have crazy all capped.

Speaker 1 (53:09):
I'll see if something happens there. Castianos and Springer and
go to war with those two. Yeah, that's like.

Speaker 3 (53:20):
Battle tested.

Speaker 1 (53:23):
It's something that it's it's like laughing at the young,
crazy potential.

Speaker 2 (53:27):
Guys's kind of hard of the team a little bit.

Speaker 1 (53:30):
It's like who do you really want up? You got
one at bat? Do you want Jordan Walker, Low Benson, Freelick,
Riley Green or Moniac? Or do you want Castanos and Springer?
Those are like the life on the line. I go
with those guys.

Speaker 2 (53:48):
Yeah, no, I agree with you. Something about it has
to be something about how much their fans love them too,
because Blue Jays fans love Springer and Phillies fans adore.

Speaker 1 (54:03):
And that's not train crush. That's that's more than a
train crush. That's been in love.

Speaker 2 (54:08):
That's do you want to move in with me?

Speaker 1 (54:11):
Yes? I like that jolly because you don't just ask
any or that's like should we get a dog?

Speaker 2 (54:18):
Should we get a dog?

Speaker 3 (54:21):
Because they are a dog?

Speaker 1 (54:23):
You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 2 (54:26):
You know what?

Speaker 3 (54:26):
These are the types of guys that like families name
their dogs after them.

Speaker 1 (54:31):
Springer is a great dog name.

Speaker 3 (54:36):
Georgie.

Speaker 2 (54:37):
Georgie.

Speaker 1 (54:39):
Jimmy's grandma had a dog named Georgie.

Speaker 2 (54:41):
Fun fact, I'm doing fantasy value.

Speaker 1 (54:44):
Pick awful dog. Georgie was one of the more hated
dogs I've seen. Yeah, no, you're right.

Speaker 2 (54:54):
You get this guy in the sixth run. You might
give you thirty bombs. That's some guy has that podcast
and saying that.

Speaker 1 (55:03):
Yeah, I'll go fantasy value.

Speaker 2 (55:05):
Could you get lay Thomas in the A d P value? Alright,
I'm throwing you al dunkin.

Speaker 1 (55:13):
All right, let's let's keep doing this now the really good.

Speaker 2 (55:17):
Should we get a dog?

Speaker 1 (55:18):
It's so good? Should we get a dog? I love you,
you love me, take care of it. I trust you.
Fernando Tatis Junior could win the m v P this year.
Gordon Carroll could win the m v P this year.
Had always Garcia, Kyle Tucker probably.

Speaker 2 (55:37):
Not it could win the MVP.

Speaker 3 (55:41):
Is it like that s Tier would be a boring
m v P winner and the beat and the A
Tiers fun MVP winner.

Speaker 2 (55:48):
I like that boring MVP winters. Well, you would be
excited about Soda winning MVP, though.

Speaker 3 (55:55):
I'd never be a judge that would.

Speaker 1 (55:59):
I like that theme and it's just easy for us
boring MVPs fun MVP. Wow, the Ala Scarcia can't win MVP,
he might relax.

Speaker 2 (56:14):
Come on, what do you get last year?

Speaker 3 (56:16):
That's if he upset to forty five homers in the
same average.

Speaker 1 (56:20):
That's like basically tenth, which is I'm a Roscillo guy.
And one of the things that he does that I
do like is whenever and then a player. Players will
go off and they'll be like, should they be MVP voting?
And like, guess what, Darren Fox, he's not winning the MVP.
He'd go nuts for Sacramento for a month and a half.
He's not getting the m VP. It's gonna come down

(56:44):
back to back one hundred rbi Joker embiid Yiannis. Yeah,
one hundred r behind.

Speaker 2 (56:51):
So it would be fun if you want m v P.

Speaker 1 (56:53):
What do we say, I want an MVP? Okay, here
we go, it's happening. It's happening. It's happening. Ha Soto
want an MVP?

Speaker 3 (57:06):
Interesting second place twenty twenty?

Speaker 1 (57:09):
Come on, come on, we have two n OL West guys,
Tatis and Carol. Who are the two guys that would
be least surprising if they popped?

Speaker 2 (57:20):
Are you doing?

Speaker 1 (57:20):
The other guys are the new baseball rivalry? But I
think they're steady eddies.

Speaker 2 (57:25):
Okay, they're ghost in here, cand of smell that that's crazy?

Speaker 1 (57:31):
Oh golly, the wild West, the wild West? Yeah, yeah,
I don't want any cookies in there.

Speaker 2 (57:45):
Yes, if T wants Tailor to wait for.

Speaker 1 (57:47):
You, I think so. Yeah, we're close. I like naming
that the Wildlife.

Speaker 2 (57:52):
I think we're done because.

Speaker 3 (57:54):
I changed, so I have the top tier? Is a
boring MVP pick? Yep?

Speaker 2 (57:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (57:58):
Pick better now that we're not saying what it would
be like if they win the wild West?

Speaker 1 (58:03):
Wrestling noise back there, somebody eating Girl Scout cookie?

Speaker 2 (58:07):
These are cold? Why are they so cold?

Speaker 3 (58:10):
That's how the other half lives?

Speaker 2 (58:12):
You guys have a fridge here, there's mon.

Speaker 1 (58:14):
Yeah, we have a locked fridge in here, all right,
Yeah with Girl Scout cookies in it? What's your deal?

Speaker 2 (58:20):
People?

Speaker 3 (58:20):
There's levels that boring MVP pick and that's Acunnnesota, wild West, Tucker, Tatis,
Carol and a Doley Scarcia. Yes done, adp Value, Santan
de Or Lane Thomas says, Zuki should we get a dog?

(58:42):
Springer and Castianos going with crazy potentials? Jordan Walker, Riley Green,
Josh Lowe, Will Benson, South Free Look and Mickey Moniac
thirty flirty and Thriving, Mike Yeaz, Jason Hayward and Max
Kepler platoon these two. I have Hayward and Seth Brown,

(59:02):
train crush, Edward O Lvares, Dominic Fletcher, Sean Bouchard and
Jesus Sanchez. And I do love how that worked out.

Speaker 2 (59:11):
Make these two platoon. I have Renfro at Seth Brown.

Speaker 3 (59:14):
What did I say, you said, Hayward, I meant Renfro cool.
I have Renfro and then strong arms and injuries, uh, Loriano,
Hannegar and Marte.

Speaker 1 (59:27):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (59:28):
That's a list, baby God.

Speaker 1 (59:30):
I mean Starling, Marte and Mitch Channiger could get ds MVP. Okay,
talk to me, that's not how they're getting I think
we found it, lads.

Speaker 3 (59:45):
This is good.

Speaker 1 (59:46):
We wrestled right field. I was excited for this one.
This is crazy because next year, like Judge is probably
back there, and you know, Tiancarlo Stanton is probably back
there and Sean Bouchard times the list. I am shocked
by the train crushes. That's insane. Who are those guys?

Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
How they've all been nothing but positive?

Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
Ops plot? Okay, Hey, thank you everyone, for tuning in.
Thank you to Jolly Olive. Comment below what you like,
what you hate, Oh my god. We'll be back next
week and there will be a regular season baseball game
