everybody can attest to this, and they did not do
what they were supposed to do for the bet. There's

In case you couldn't get through, you can always still
call and get through for last word. And when we
come back, we have yee T. Now, maybe you fell
off a little. You try to hit people up and
they ignored you, and then you got back on. And
now those same people came back around will tell you
what rapper that happened to and what he had to
(07:12):
say about it.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
It's way up with Angela, yee.
Speaker 11 (07:14):
They say in the rooms.
Speaker 7 (07:17):

Yes, I'm my own brand.
Speaker 5 (07:30):
Maino is here. Yeah, Mana and we're doing yee T. Now.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
You know, when you're down and out, the same people
that you feel like are in your corner, right, are
the same people that would be like, oh I don't
know that person anymore. Well, I love Maconan actually called
out certain people who turned their backs on him. He said,
remember he had that song going up on a Tuesday.
That was a huge song he signed to Ovio. At
the time he was, you know, killing it, and then
(07:55):
all of a sudden he got dropped from O Yo
and a lot of.
Speaker 5 (07:57):
People that used to deal with him just stopped.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Yes, right, well now he has a new song out
with Young Boy, and that song is called Parasites here
it is.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
Yeah, it's different.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
Well after that, a lot of people started hitting him
up that was ignoring him, and he posted I'm him
and I've been here, I ain't do it'sh to y'all.
Y'all turn y'all back on me and held hands together
and follow me in everything. Now y'all see me with
Young Boy, the realist em word on Earth and started
hitting me up like it's all good. Damn that ish
painful to see, especially after we came up together in
Atlanta in twenty fourteen, and he added Post Malone, Sway
(08:31):
Lee and metro Booming whoa yes, And then he also
posted the dms and you can see for years he
was like DM and people he DM metro Booman who
never responded until this song came out and then he
put what's good family, We got to shake the world
up again, and then sway Lee he was telling him
happy birthday.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Then he DMed m yo.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Then he DM them a no response, and then after
this he you know, finally sway Lee responded also and said, bro,
you know, we can top it up anytime you see
me though, and then he said, I don't do the
public drama. After he posted the messages with sway Lee,
because sway Lee, I said, I love you so much
and I miss you.
Speaker 5 (09:08):
You know, Long said that too.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Yeah, that's that's how it happens when you I mean,
he came out the closet. Was they like because of that?
Speaker 5 (09:17):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
It's hard to say, I don't It felt like that
was the part of what he.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
Went and said that he went and said that he
was gay, right bye bye, okay, and then after that
I got quiet for him.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
It seemed like that That's how that was my perception.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
Right, And then you know, I think it also was
the fact that they said he couldn't recreate like the
success of a song like going up on a Tuesday.
And by the way, he had this one song with
Scanti Gold that I love. I got girls around the
world who would be loving me.
Speaker 5 (09:45):
That was my song right there. But you know it's
good to see.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
I love your singing voice.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Thank you, Yes, yes, And you know, Maconan said that
Drake was mad at him and he got the silent
treatment because I think something happened where it was like
some old messages where he was saying some things, you
know that happened.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
So yeah, okay, what was okay?
Speaker 4 (10:03):
All right?
Speaker 3 (10:05):
Yeah, so he posted Drake is mad corny.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
Yeah, I will be.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Pissed too, all right.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
See Murder is thanking Kim Kardashian for continuing to fight
for his freedom.
Speaker 5 (10:17):
As we told you.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Kim Kardashian went on Twitter where she talked about the
strides that they've been making and securing Sea Murder's freedom.
Sea Murder said, it's been a fight and long journey
for justice. Thank you Kim Kardashian and everyone involved over
the years, praying, advocating and believing in my innocence. Now
the family of the man who was killed, Steve Thomas
told TMZ Hip Hop George Thomas said, whenever a celebrities
(10:40):
such as Kim Kardashian advocates for Sea murder. It's like
reopening the same wound that cut the family so deep
years ago. And he said that advocacy makes it impossible
to properly mourn Steve, who was only sixteen at the
time of his death. And he said the family is
constantly reliving the pain. I could see that, right.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
So I don't know the whole ins and outs of
this case.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
I saw it.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
King Kardashian posted that the two people recanted what they
said and said that you know, they weren't being truthful.
But what he is saying is that there's a mountain
of evidence pointing to see murder as a killer, and
he thinks it's just celebs and not the common man
who went him freed from prison.
Speaker 5 (11:14):
Okay, all right, So you know what's interesting.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
I was watching a whole dateline thing of a situation where, uh,
this guy was being accused of murder and he they
found out later on, like twenty years later, that he
didn't do it.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Yeah, it happens all the time, happen.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
Yeah, So, but that's hard when you're the person, you're
the family member that has to deal with those things.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Right, But it's even harder for the person that's innocent.
That's sitting in jail right years.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
Yep, see both sides.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
All right, Well that is your yet and when we
come back, we have about last night. Now, as you
can see if you're watching this, Mano has on a
new outfit today. He's been wearing the same thing for
almost a week. It's been almost a week.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
I did it for a whole seven days or I
bet that he lost he got on arrows. And then
what you should be highlighting is the fact that I
kept my word and I'm a man of principles. Right now,
you haven't seen maybe this is what I'm trying to.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
I've seen it on the internet from you.
Speaker 5 (12:04):
Well, we're going to talk about what we did last night.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
I had a lot of things going on over the
weekend to we'll discuss its way up at the Angela yee.
Speaker 6 (12:11):
Yeah last night.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
So about last.
Speaker 7 (12:14):
Night last night, last nights I went down.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
Yes, it's way up at Angela yee. I'm Angela yee.
Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Yes, I'm not just any brand, I'm my own brand.
Speaker 5 (12:25):
Mano is here.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
May Yeah, I d every time I want my jot,
every time.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
I had to do my own drop and sometimes it's
like that, okay, all right, all right, I'm.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
My own brand, thank you.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
We had to run it back, all right, And this
is about last night. This is what we did last night.
Now over the weekend, I was the grand marshall for
this five k run. And this is for an organization
called five hundred Men all right, So it's their annual
Bedstide five k. So five k is like a little
over three miles.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
That sounds like a lot.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
It's like when we go running in the park. It's
like running around the park one time. Yeah, and it's
a run or walk so people could walk. Also, you know,
I have a running club in kse Shady.
Speaker 4 (13:06):
And run with you. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
The next one everything.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
The next one is August twenty seventh, which is also
angela Ye Day, which may know we'll be at also
we all be there. But anyway, what was nice about
it though, is I realized sometimes I end up driving
everywhere I have to go, and there's a garden there
that I never knew was there, and it's huge in
the middle of Bedstye.
Speaker 9 (13:26):
Right.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
They have fresh fruits and fresh vegetables that they grow there.
They have chickens saw so that you can get fresh eggs.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
I like.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
I kind of like that idea.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
And they also have a children's area so they can
teach children about agriculture and growing your own food and
things like that. Something I did not even know was
in my neighborhood, and I realized during the pandemic, I
walked around a lot, so I had the opportunity to
see a lot of things. But I haven't been doing
that now. I've been just running around, not quote unquote
stopping to smell the roses and so it was nice.
And then in addition to that, I also discovered that
(13:56):
there's a whole center for performing arts in the middle
the park where the run started that I didn't know existed.
And on the walls they have the original artwork from
like one hundred years ago, and so it's really amazing
to see they preserve the original walls, but they gut
it out and rebuilt.
Speaker 5 (14:11):
The whole theater. So okay, sounds like that's what I did.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
What about you may know I spent most of my
Sunday shopping around for my uncle. My uncle just came
home from doing over twenty five years. I shot out
of my uncle shot and you got him a job,
got him a job, your uncnstruction shot at my guy
Vanguard for helping me do that. And he needed some stuff,
all you know, helmet boots, like goggles.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
You got to buy your own stuff when you do construction.
Speaker 4 (14:37):
I don't know if that's there.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
I feel like they should provide that too.
Speaker 4 (14:41):
Okay, all right, a job.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Okay, but what if it's hard, Like what if you
can't if that's you just listed a bunch of stuff,
and it doesn't sound like it's super cheap neither.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
I mean, it's not super expensive, I know.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
But it doesn't sound like it's like five or ten dollars.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
Yeah, no, it's not.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
I feel like that should be part of your Like
you're somewhere and you're working, get a uniform.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
They should be like, here's your helmet.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Maybe maybe to get your uniform. But I don't think
that they supply maybe, you know, I really don't know,
because this is the world that I'm not familiar with.
Maybe certain jobs, certain things, maybe they do that. I'm
not one hundred percent sure. But this is the stuff
that he needed, and I wanted to make sure you
had that. So it took me a long time to
get ahead to go to Walmart lows.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
You know, it was one of those that went right online.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
Nobody needed it for today, okay.
Speaker 4 (15:26):
Okay, yeah, yeah, that's tricky. You don't know if it's
coming time and you have to run around all.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
Those and it was Sunday. It was really bad traffic
all day, all day. You've been wearing all we absolutely
we're not sure.
Speaker 4 (15:40):
Let me tell you yesterday and.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
When I and why not and why not? When I
made that video for y'all, I was in the Walmart
parking lot, were you okay?
Speaker 4 (15:48):
We talked.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
We talked to him Mane on a lot via text
and FaceTime throughout the weekend.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
On the weekend, right, and what did you see?
Speaker 4 (15:55):
You had on the same you had on the same know,
you were shirtless when I FaceTime.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
Sometimes somebody get yeah, shirtless. They don't always answer shirts.
That's what you're gonna. Let these tattoos fly. I'll be
like you no reason, I'm like, no, what you doing.
It's like when you get that fresh baby up.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
You see this?
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Maybe I never got to these pictures.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
I mean, what you're supposed to do. I'm home, I'm
come to Bush right.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Well, that was about last night, and you know what
it is. It's a Monday, okay, And on a Monday,
we always want to make sure we start the week
off right.
Speaker 5 (16:31):
And starting the week off right, we want you, guys

Speaker 3 (17:07):
And I feel like I shared a secret with you
guys one day and I got judged for it.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
So I don't know how secret was that.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
I was talking about flossing with her with here. I've
done it before, Yes, in an emergency.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
There's many emergencies. It's not a lot. I said. It
was disgusting.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
I've done to flus all the time in my car
at home, I flus every time after I eat. But
you know there's been a It really bothers me if
there's food in between my teeth.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Right, But you know, everybody, everybody does things like she
she comes here, she does number two a lot.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
First of all, I've done the number two one time.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
Okay, has it affected like your teeth? Because I know
they say sometimes sucking us something? All this time I
can make a.
Speaker 5 (18:24):
Teeth grow outward.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
No, I have I okay, you have braces, all right,
I mean no harm, no fouls.
Speaker 5 (18:31):
She still sucks a binkie?
Speaker 4 (18:33):
Do you like when do you suck it? Like at night?
Speaker 8 (18:35):
Or oh?
Speaker 1 (18:38):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (18:39):
I mean some people grind their teeth in their sleep.
You know, some people have what you call a oral fixation.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
You just like to have things fixation like things in
your mouth?
Speaker 4 (18:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (18:47):
Nice, okay, big things. Okay, thank you.
Speaker 5 (18:54):
For calling a binkie is.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Not big, right, This is what I'm saying, Like you
need help with that. You you don't have a participant.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
I feel like this could be a good fetish too,
like for people.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
Who like to watch, we need to put something.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Okay, thank you all.
Speaker 5 (19:19):
Hey, Anonymous color, how are you?
Speaker 9 (19:21):
I'm good.
Speaker 5 (19:22):
You want to tell us a secret?
Speaker 11 (19:24):
Uh?
Speaker 13 (19:25):
Yeah, So my secret is that the other day I
was around eighteenth and Diamond Street and I saw a
stray dog, so I decided to bring it home. Next morning,
I woke up and my stray dog had killed my
real dog.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
No, I'm sorry to hear. You must be devastated.
Speaker 13 (19:48):
I am pretty deficult. Well this was a few days,
but yeah.
Speaker 8 (19:53):
So what did you do with the stray?
Speaker 13 (19:56):
Yeah, they'n away. I don't know what happened to him.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
That is vicious.
Speaker 13 (20:01):
I have like a little front porch yard, and so
I left them out, and.
Speaker 5 (20:05):
So they were playing nice when you were there.
Speaker 8 (20:08):
Yeah, it was like a little bit.
Speaker 9 (20:10):
I don't know.
Speaker 13 (20:10):
I shouldn't have trusted him in the first place.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Yeah, right, that is so I would have been so
sad at heartbroken.
Speaker 5 (20:18):
I'm sorry that happened.
Speaker 13 (20:21):
Okay, I'll probably get enoughing.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Okay, Okay, i'd have been crying.
Speaker 9 (20:26):
Done.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
All right, Well, thank you for calling an anamous caller.
Speaker 13 (20:29):
All right, thank you.
Speaker 5 (20:30):
Hey, Amis caller.
Speaker 12 (20:31):
How are you hello?
Speaker 5 (20:36):
You want to tell us a secret?
Speaker 9 (20:38):
Yeah, I went till. I love you. You are amazing.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Thank you, sweet.
Speaker 5 (20:42):
I like you already. Okay, what's your secret?
Speaker 9 (20:45):
My secret is Karen felt thinking about my girlfriend, my
ex girlfriend. Oh so you've been broken up for two years.
Speaker 5 (20:52):
That's a long time. Why'd you guys break up?
Speaker 1 (20:55):
WHOA?
Speaker 9 (20:56):
I just thought that she was separated, so she was
still married. I didn't know that.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Okay, that'll do it.
Speaker 9 (21:04):
Yeah, yeah, and yeah, separated, but I don't know. It's
it's still like you're tied. You're still there. It's just
that I liked her a lot.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
So she went back to her husband.
Speaker 9 (21:17):
No, so they they really separated. They trying to get divorce,
but it's been like five years trying to get a divorce.
Never really happened. But she's moved on. So she got
a new boyfriend. Okay, yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
And you can't have you spoken? Do you still speak
to her?
Speaker 9 (21:34):
No, she don't want to talk to me.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
So just what's what's her name? So you could just
make the shout out to her like this, because help
you get her back?
Speaker 9 (21:43):
I can't. I wish I could, man, but god, yeah
I can't, but I do hope that. Well, what can
I do to get to get this off my mind?
Speaker 4 (21:56):
Find somebody?
Speaker 5 (21:57):
Yeah, you gotta date somebody else.
Speaker 4 (21:58):
You gotta find some You gotta go somebody.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Watch porn watch Yeah okay, well, I mean, you know,
you never know, maybe you guys were reunite.
Speaker 9 (22:07):
Yeah. I thought about that too. What I was hoarding that?
Speaker 3 (22:09):
But you know, we see, you gotta sometimes throw it
out there, see if it sticks. If not, then you
gotta make a promise to yourself to move on.
Speaker 9 (22:18):
M Okay, Okay, all right, thank you.
Speaker 4 (22:21):
I wish you luck, good luck.
Speaker 5 (22:24):
All right, Well, that was tell us a secret.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
And when we come back, we have your Yet, we'll
talk about kay Sanna. He has been charged with inciting
a riot. We'll give you the details of what happened
in New York City where the police actually had to
show up and control an out of control situation. It's
way up with Angela, ye yet.
Speaker 7 (22:42):
Next, she's about to blow the lid off this pot.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
Let's get it.
Speaker 7 (22:45):
Angela's feeling that yet, come and get your tea.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
All right, it's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela yee.
And Jasmine is here.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
Yes, I'm not just I'm my own brand.
Speaker 5 (22:56):
Mana is here, no, Maya Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
And let's get into some yet. Let's start off with
Kais and that he is the reigning Streamer of the
Year winner. He's also the second most subscribed channel on
Twitch worldwide, so he has a huge reach and he
tried to do something positive right he was in Union Square.
He urged people to come out because he said he
was giving away free PlayStation fives and gift cards as well.
(23:20):
So when he posted about that, a lot of people
came out. Now, Here's what he had said initially beforehand, Well.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Gift calls.
Speaker 5 (23:29):
Oh here bo, we gonna go crazy, all right now.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
He also did urge people that he wanted to make
sure that everybody was safe.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
It's a lot of y'all out there right now. Everybody
who's out there makes y'all safe. Appreciate everybody who popped
out for y'all. Bro safe.
Speaker 5 (23:47):
Safe, okay, all right now.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
NBC reports that he was taking into custody on Friday afternoon.
Clearly thousands of people ended up showing up and it
ended up being just a lot of things happening.
Speaker 5 (23:59):
The crowd was very ruly.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
There's footage you can see they're climbing on top of
Kays and Nuts suv while it was in motion, and
he had posted I love you guys to the fullest.
You guys are amazing. The love from home base is real.
Please be safe, all right. What actually did he do though, Well,
I mean he urged people to come out. He said
he was giving away these free PlayStations gift cards. Now, CBS, well,
(24:22):
you have to get a permit when you have that
many people coming out, and tell the police in advance
so that they know.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
So they can be fully prepared, right, because.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Then it ended up being a kind of a mayhem. Yeah,
and it was a dangerous situation. I think like sixty
five people got arrested something like that during that time.
They were also subway delays due to the gathering, as
the NYPD asked people to avoid that area and to
expect a police presence in the area, and they had
traffic delays.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
They said.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
There were a small number of injuries that were minor,
but he is facing several charges after that promoted giveaway,
at least two acounts of insiding a right and unlawful assembly,
along with a few other charges. The Nypdchief of Departments
at in a press compency event was not sanctioned by
the police. He said, I think we have to reach
out to some of our influencers and ask them to
be responsible with this, to help us with this. If
(25:10):
we knew about this, we could have had the barriers
out here, We could have had police officers out here.
We could have did this orderly. They could have gave
whatever gifts they had for the young people away. I
encourage this. We want our young people to come to
events like this. It just can't be Hey, this is
what we're doing. It's a free for all. We see,
this is the outcome. We cannot have these outcomes, so.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
You see you to permit Yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
Mean it did look crazy.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
Absolutely Mayhem and he also from his group Any Means
Possible apologized after this whole situation in New York and
Union Square. He said, we are deeply disheartened by the
outbreak of disorderly conduct that affected innocent people and businesses,
and do not condone that behavior.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
You see homeboy jumping on top of the car, Yes,
it was crazy.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
A lot happens, listen. That's the place I would have
avoided for sure. All right, now, let's talk about Neo.
Neo recently sat down and did an interview with Gloria
Velez for Blat TV, and he had some things to
say about transgender children and their parents.
Speaker 5 (26:07):
And here's what he had to say.
Speaker 14 (26:09):
I have no issue with the LB, I have no
problem with Noney, with nobody. I just personally come from
an era where a man was a man and a
woman was a woman, and it wasn't but two genders,
and that's just how it rocked. I feel like parents
have al once forgotten what the role of a parent
is if your little boy comes to you and says, Daddy,
I want.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
To be a girl.
Speaker 4 (26:29):
And where did he get that?
Speaker 1 (26:30):
If you let this.
Speaker 14 (26:31):
Five year old boy decide to eat candy all day,
he's going to do it. Exactly when did it become
a good idea to let a five year old, at
a six year old, letter twelve year old make a
life changing decision for their self?
Speaker 4 (26:43):
All right? Now?
Speaker 5 (26:44):
After that, there was a lot of backlash.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
Yes, from that end, it was, and he since has apologized. Right,
he said, I'd like to express my deepest apologies after
much reflection, I'd like to apologize to anyone that I
may have hurt with my comments on parents and gender identity.
I've also I've always been an advocate for love and
inclusivity in the LGBTQI plus community, so I understand how
(27:07):
my comments could have been interpreted as insensitive and offensive.
Gender identity is nuanced, and I can honestly admit that
I plan to better educate myself on the topic.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Okay, I can't believe he said that publicly. I was
so surprised.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
I know I was too, because I don't know that
that's like a life changing when you're five or six,
you know, and then I don't know that people don't know.
I've heard a lot of people say they knew from
when they were three years old, four years old, that
this is who they are. Who am I to say,
if it's not me, what that experience is?
Speaker 2 (27:38):
Like?
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Yeah, all right, when we come back, we have under
the radar and these are stories that are flying under
the radar that we still feel like you need to
know about it. One of those things is about PayPal. Right,
they have a new thing that is starting today. I
don't know if you guys use PayPal, but will tell
you what it is. And it's interesting. It's the way
up at Angelague.
Speaker 7 (27:56):
The news news, the news that relates to you. These
stories are flying under the radar.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
All right, it's way up at Angela. Yee, I'm Angela yee.
Jasmine brand is here.
Speaker 4 (28:06):
Yes, I'm here, Angela.
Speaker 5 (28:07):
Mano is here, No Mana.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
He's gonna get his job like every time Orchestra direct
in your minds.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
All right.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
PayPal has launched a stable coin. I write the PayPal
US dollars. It's issued by Pexos Trust and stable coins
have yet to take off, but they are now basically
having this whole payment structure.
Speaker 5 (28:30):
I don't know if it's time right now to be
doing better.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
Hey, I feel like they have missed the way Yea,
they did.
Speaker 5 (28:36):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
I do feel like cryptocurrency, certain ones will continue to
be around. It's not going to be as many as
there were before. And if you can use that on
their platform, then I guess that what it.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Be on their platform, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
To redeemable for dollars at all times, and it can
also be exchanged for other cryptocurrencies that are available on
PayPal's network.
Speaker 5 (28:55):
By the way, so they.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
Do have four hundred and thirty one million active accounts globally.
All right now, over eleven thousand LA workers are planning
to strike and that's going to be tomorrow. They want
to quote shut down the city, all right, and those
are Hollywood actors and TV and movie writers who have
walked off their jobs this summer. They're joining hotel employees
(29:17):
right now in this one day strike. That's going to
be sanitation workers, LA International Airport employee, street services and
all of that. They said they're shutting down the whole city.
The message that we're sending is that our workers are
just fed up. They've reached a breaking point, and we
need these folks in the city to come back to
the table for the good of the city.
Speaker 4 (29:35):
Listen, lax employees. That's a big deal.
Speaker 5 (29:38):
Sanitation.
Speaker 4 (29:39):
Yeah, that's a really big deal.
Speaker 5 (29:40):
That's a big deal right now.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
So it is going to shut the city down tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
So just giving y'all the heads up, this is going
to be happening tomorrow and those are municipal operations are
going to be halting for twenty four hours. That is
going to add to all of the labor activity across
the city and the country all right. Now, A mother,
James at Southwest Airlines, thought that she was trafficking while
traveling with her daughter. So a mother is suing now
(30:06):
for racial discrimination. She said she was accused of that
Mary McCarthy. She's white. She traveled from California to Denver
with her daughter, who is black.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
She's biracial.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
She was going to attend her brother's funeral, according to
this lawsuit that was filed on Thursday, and while they
were in the air unbnowas to her, an employee at
Southwest called the Denver Police Department to report her for
suspected child trafficking for no reason other than the different
color of her daughter's skin from her own.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
According to the lawsuit, that's crazy.
Speaker 5 (30:32):
They do look alike in the face.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
If you see, it's crazy.
Speaker 5 (30:37):
Yes, the officer started questioning her.
Speaker 3 (30:39):
They made it clear that they were given the racially
charged information that her daughter was possibly being trafficked by
her simply because she's white and her daughter is black.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
I wonder what it had to be.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
Not it had to be, but what else could it
be besides the race that made you feel like maybe
she's being trafficked.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
That Yeah, they said, you know you're white, your daughter's black,
So is this a case of trafficking?
Speaker 4 (30:58):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
When we were in Detroit in the airport, remember they
were telling us because it's really hard to maneuver around
certain things, and the hotel, you can't with the hotel
key card, you can't go from one floor. So even
if though we were both staying at the same hotel,
she couldn't get to my floor, I couldn't get to
her floor. And somebody was telling us it's because of
human trafficking being such an issue.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
And there's all these signs in the bathroom in Deloit
and like it it's a really big deal.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
There you.
Speaker 3 (31:24):
Yeah, so I understand always wanting to make sure you're
alert and if something looks a little bit strange.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
But that's the only reason.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
Yes, I like what else was there?
Speaker 3 (31:32):
And when I looked at them together, their face facial
features kind of looked similar.
Speaker 5 (31:36):
We're very similar, all right.
Speaker 3 (31:38):
Elon Musk is offering to pay legal bills for people
who were fired over Twitter activity.
Speaker 5 (31:42):
So if you got fired or lost your job.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
Due to things on Twitter, like liking something, liking a
racist meme, for instance, then he will take care of
your legal bill, he said. If you were unfairly treated
by your employer due to posting or liking something on
this platform, we will fund your legal bill, no limit.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
Please let us know.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
He is crazy. He's not crazy, He's different.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
I also don't believe him.
Speaker 4 (32:04):
I don't either.
Speaker 5 (32:04):
All right, Well, that is you're under the radar.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
And you know we got the way up mixed coming
at the top of the hour on a Monday, so
we can start our week off the right way.
Speaker 4 (32:12):
We love a Monday.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
And later on, as promised, we are going to be
talking about what happened in Alabama with the boats, with
the brawl that happen on a chair and the chair.
We cannot forget the chair, but we have all the
events of what was happening on that boat that couldn't
get to Doc and then how the whole fight started,
right and then the aftermath of that will give you
all of the details that we know thus far. We
(32:35):
know some of the people who were involved right now
and whose businesses can and should be affected.
Speaker 4 (32:40):
That's main of why he's rubbing my hand right now.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
I'm trying to give you comfort because you're going through things.
What's she going through?
Speaker 4 (32:46):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
You know, she's straight well up with Angela Yee. And
of course the way Ye mixes up next is let's
go just like a tout like they angel Jean, like
they a Jeli je.
Speaker 7 (33:00):
Man, she's spilling it all.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
This is yea t way.
Speaker 5 (33:06):
What's up? Its way up? But Angela Ye, I'm Angela Yee.
And Jasmine is here.
Speaker 4 (33:10):
Yes, I'm not just any brand, I'm my own brand.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
And so Hard's own Mano is here. No, right, all right,
and let's get into some yet. Let's tart this off
with Jamie Fox all right now. He put up a
post that I did not see anything wrong with. But
let me, stay corrected. Okay, he posted, they killed this
dude named Jesus. What do you think they'll do to you?
Hashtag fake friends, hashtag fake love? Right, Okay, yeah, to me,
(33:35):
that was clearly about fake friends and fake love. But apparently,
you know this meant something more controversial for others. Now,
Jennifer Andison had liked the post, and then she got
a lot of backlash from it, and apparently people thought
this was meant to be anti semitic, right, they said,
Actor Jamie Fox post horrifically anti semitic message to his
(33:57):
sixteen point seven million followers. Jennifer and and then posted,
this really makes me sick. I did not like this
post on purpose or by accident. And more importantly, I
want to be clear to my friends and anyone hurt
by this showing up in their feeds. I do not
support any form of anti Semitism, and I truly don't
tolerate hate of any kind period.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
But it wasn't anti semitic. He was basically he said
this dude, So I think that was the problem. This dude,
this dude name Jesus.
Speaker 5 (34:25):
Well, I think you know they killed and what do
you think they'll do?
Speaker 4 (34:28):
To you.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
So I think what they're saying is that's anti Semitic
to say that, but intent does matter.
Speaker 5 (34:34):
That was certainly not his intent.
Speaker 3 (34:35):
He deleted it and then said, I want to apologize
to the Jewish community and everyone who was offended by
my post. I know now my choice of words have
caused offense, and I'm sorry. That was never my intent.
To clarify, I was betrayed by a fake friend, and
that's what I meant with they not anything more. I
only have love in my heart for everyone. I love
and support the Jewish community. Look, he's just been through
a whole lot.
Speaker 4 (34:56):
I know people was dragon.
Speaker 3 (34:59):
Jennifer did not, but they were definitely Jack Jennifer Aniston
for basically making this situation more she's and I don't
understand how you can say I did not like this
post on purpose or by accident?
Speaker 4 (35:11):
What is that? But which one is it?
Speaker 1 (35:13):
That don't make no sense?
Speaker 4 (35:14):
No sound was so confused.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
But you know, I will say, I do not like
when people do this whole they killed Jesus? What do
you think they would you? I don't like when people
do those kind of comparisons. I was like, we're nothing
like Jesus. Like we are like hey, Sus, yeah.
Speaker 4 (35:29):
Like okay, Jesus like getting it.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
But I just looked at Jennifer's Instagram and see if
she may be apologized for kind of And she hasn't
said anything else after this, all.
Speaker 3 (35:39):
Right, And I love the fact that people were going
in on her and they were talking about how the
show Friends was bad because it's a fake Friends purpose
or mistake canceled itself out, all right. Now, Tory Lane
is expected to be sentenced for shooting Meghan the Stallion,
and he could get a long prison term at the
sentencing that is today, So Los Angeles prosecutors are asking
(36:03):
for a thirteen year sentence, and they wrote a whole
sentencing memorandum that along with the crimes to which he
was convicted, he's also re traumatized Meghan with social media
posts about the case that embolded many among his more
than two million followers to attack her. And they said
Megan may appear in court Monday to give a victim
impact statement or she may have one read for her
in her absence.
Speaker 5 (36:23):
So that's today.
Speaker 4 (36:24):
You think Megan's gonna come, I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
I doubt it.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Yeah, I'm sure that and do I think she'll have
a statement. I believe she would. Who knows, we'll see.
But his lawyers already planning to appeal the conviction.
Speaker 4 (36:34):
Okay, and we know Mayo has strong feelings, so can't.
Speaker 1 (36:36):
Waste what's my strong filming. I don't think that thirteen years.
I think that's excessive.
Speaker 5 (36:42):
It yeah, that's main Yeah, all right.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
Simone Biles has won three golds in her return to
jim Naxis. If y'all side a video, she killed it
like she never went anywhere. She's returned to competitive gymnastics,
and she did not speak with the media. She chose
not to on training day, but she did waiving her fan.
She was in good spirits. She came away from the
event with four metals, three gold and one bronze.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
This is a great comeback.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
When I tell you just to see her do that
and you see how she landed, because you always are
like nervous. Yeah yeah, yeah. So she posted tears of joys.
I make this comeback surrounded by the love you've shown.
Thank you for believing in me.
Speaker 9 (37:19):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
Also, congratulations to Benny the Butcher. He has announced his
marriage to his girlfriend India. He posts a real Eastside dope, boy,
I'm married a project princess. Me and India officially married,
so congratulations to them.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
Oh so nice.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
And the Barbie movie has made a record breaking one
billion dollars globally yikes, at the box office. Greta Gerwick
is the first woman to have a billion dollar film,
you hear me, the first woman to have a billion
dollar film, so she has made history with that. They've
made over one billion dollars in less than three weeks.
She's also the first solo woman director with a billion
(37:54):
dollar movie. So congratulations.
Speaker 4 (37:56):
Come on, Greta, such a big deal. That's a huge deal.
Speaker 5 (37:59):
And we went to go see that screening before it
even came out.
Speaker 2 (38:02):
We did, all right, well, y'all nice and now we're
going to invite you, but you at.
Speaker 3 (38:08):
Some point, Mana's got to talk about when we come back,
about this whole hustle, hard day. But we do want
to discuss this, oh weekend, my bad, We do want
to discuss this Alabama bra and you guys are going
to have a chance to weigh in, So anything you
want to say, start calling up now. But we're going
to break down everything that happened right in Montgomery, Alabama.
As this one boat was trying to dock and these
(38:28):
other people would not move their boat out of the way.
And so we'll detail how the whole situation started as
everything was unfolding. There's a video of it, and then
we'll talk about what happened. The mayor has spoken and
people have been arrested. We'll talk about charges and all
of that. It's way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 1 (38:46):
Yeah, you back at it. Bring the way up with
Angela Yee is on?
Speaker 3 (38:51):
All right, It's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee.
Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here.
Speaker 4 (38:58):
On my own brand.
Speaker 5 (38:59):
Mana was here new Manu.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
And let's talk about what happened in Montgomery, Alabama. So
several people wore detained. This was on Saturday night. There
was a fight that broke out on the dock in Alabama.
Plice said that there were four active warrants out as
of today, and they said there's a possibility that more
will follow after the review of additional video.
Speaker 5 (39:19):
Now, how did all of this happen.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
Well, it initially started with a boat trying to dock
and there was another pontoon boat that would not move
out of the way. So a woman who was actually
on the boat that was waiting to dock was detailing
everything that was happening as she was watching and filming.
Speaker 5 (39:37):
Here's what she said.
Speaker 6 (39:38):
That guy in the white shirt is Crewe from our
little dinner cruise though we got off our ship to
go over there to move that black pontoon though on
his own, because those guys the park there were told
not to leave it there, and they left it there.
Speaker 5 (39:55):
So he's just pushing it on.
Speaker 3 (39:57):
Love eyewitness, I know she was definitely like reporting from
the scene. Now we're watching as there's one black guy
there that's crew that's trying to get these guys to
move the boat, and there's a whole you know, they're
and they're going back and forth for several minutes, right,
and it didn't look like he was successful in getting
them to move, and people on the boat then started
(40:18):
chanting shout out to ludacrisy, so everybody's like, come on,
like move out of the way. And then at one
point right the crew member throws his hat in the
air and it was.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
On it was I don't know why he threw it
up like that.
Speaker 4 (40:41):
It got active. That's what it means. It's time to
get active.
Speaker 3 (40:46):
But unfortunately for him, at first as this was starting,
he was by himself. And so what you see is
one black man getting attacked by a group of white people,
including women, and coming over to attack him. And then
then sixteen year old boy and you see him actually
swim across the Montgomery River to help in that brawl.
(41:06):
And he's been called the black Aquaman. I saw a
scuba gooding.
Speaker 5 (41:10):
Junior was trending.
Speaker 4 (41:12):
He was swimming so fast.
Speaker 3 (41:14):
Listen, he was not playing. He wanted to help that security.
That crew member.
Speaker 4 (41:18):
That's his boy, probably too, colleague.
Speaker 5 (41:20):
Yeah, we don't know if probably, but I.
Speaker 4 (41:24):
Thought they worked on this at the same.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
Yeah, they were part of the crew.
Speaker 4 (41:27):
The crew.
Speaker 3 (41:28):
So he actually flew over there. He flew over there
so fast, he flew over there, right, and so he
is the black Aquaman. And then things turned into a
full out brawl.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
After that.
Speaker 3 (41:40):
We saw a lot of fighting, men and women and
clearly children too.
Speaker 4 (41:44):
Fighting.
Speaker 3 (41:45):
Yes, chairs getting smashed over people's heads.
Speaker 4 (41:50):
He was a log. The best part, if there is
the best part, are all.
Speaker 3 (41:54):
These memes, right, And commentator said, the footage also did
show this one man. His name is Chase Shipman, and
he posted about the incident and tried to say that
he was trying to run away from what was happening.
Speaker 1 (42:08):
Oh, Chase right.
Speaker 3 (42:09):
And so he owns a mini market, Basser's Mini Market
that's actually in Selma, and so I saw that his
business has been getting backlash. Chase Shipman, who witnessed the brawl,
posted a video on social media, and he basically tried
to act like he was getting away. He tried to
break it up, but the video shows otherwise. Yes, the video,
(42:33):
according to formist Selma City councilwoman Angela Benjamin, shows that
he was indeed involved. And she said, other people said,
Chase Shipman, you're a bold faced liar.
Speaker 1 (42:41):
Delete that.
Speaker 3 (42:42):
And they said he ran away all right, just lying.
They said he was right there in the mix. Don't
post a picture and try to say your eyes didn't
see what happened on video. And so that Vassar's Mini
Mart has been another company that's been trending since all
of this happened. Now, knowing all the things that we know,
what are your thoughts When you guys saw the video.
Speaker 1 (43:02):
I was happy, almost happy to see black people defending themselves,
fighting back and fighting with each other.
Speaker 3 (43:07):
Right, what I loved about it and Jasmin did? What
did you think I felt the same way I was.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
Just it would have been so sad if he just
got attacked and jumped and nobody intervened. In different places
across the country, I feel like people would have just watched, okay,
thank you.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
And that is the prime example of f around and
find out right. Right, you think that you're gonna jump
this man who's there by himself, just because he threw
us hat in the air.
Speaker 5 (43:31):
You think that's gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (43:32):
Well, guess how surprised they were when Scuba Gooding Junior
pulled up and then everybody else.
Speaker 1 (43:40):
It was a lot of pull up and it was
a lot. It was a lot of pull up.
Speaker 2 (43:44):
Did you see that the crocs on that man after
he got beat up? The crocs was all the way up,
tore up, all the way.
Speaker 4 (43:49):
Up his cast.
Speaker 1 (43:50):
We're gonna do some punching.
Speaker 3 (43:51):
But you know, let that make you think twice the
whole And I will say this, fortunately the whole thing
was captured on video, so that we do know who
started it and how it.
Speaker 4 (44:00):
All went down and who finished it.
Speaker 5 (44:02):
Now, the mayor Stephen L.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
Reid from Montgomery said in a statement that several people
involved in the fighting have been detained. He said justice
will be served, and so that's his reaction right now.
But if this video wasn't out there, who knows what
could have ended up happening.
Speaker 1 (44:18):
What would you have done? You would have took that charge.
But both of y'all took a charge.
Speaker 4 (44:23):
No, I would have been fighting.
Speaker 1 (44:25):
I think you have to be fighting in that.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
I don't know if I don't know if I would
have picked up the chair and hit someone over the head.
And I also would not have swam because I don't
have the strength for that.
Speaker 1 (44:39):
I can't swim.
Speaker 4 (44:40):
I can't swim.
Speaker 3 (44:40):
And then yeah, yes, but the mayor did indicate the
man from the riverboat was attacked and that those who
committed violence against him would face the justice system. All right,
So we want to hear what you guys think, because
I know a lot of us had really strong reactions
this video when viral.
Speaker 5 (44:56):
Everybody was posting about it.
Speaker 3 (44:58):
So I would love to hear you guys just call
up say what your initial reaction was when you saw
this video. Maybe you've had to be involved in some
type of brawl. But the outcome of this was amazing,
just to see everybody kind of coming with us.
Speaker 4 (45:11):
Don't stop playing with us, all right?
Speaker 3 (45:14):
It's a way up at angelayee. Eight hundred fifty one
fifty is a number.
Speaker 5 (45:18):
Call this up.
Speaker 3 (45:19):
You want to hear what your initial reaction was, what
you thought of this video, anything you want to say
about it. Eight hundred two nine fifty fifty.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
You ride a way up with Angela Yee?
Speaker 5 (45:30):
What's up this way up at Angela Ye? I'm Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (45:32):
Jasmine is here, I'm here, Maino's here, no mana. And
we are talking about this Montgomery, Alabama riverfront dock fights
brawl that was caught on video. And how did it
all even happen? Well, a woman who was on the
boat that was trying to dock. There was a pontoon
boat that was in the way. It was not supposed
to be there. A crew member was telling the boat
(45:53):
that they had to move. They was telling the people
on the boat they had to move. They wouldn't move, okay.
And here's what the woman is detailing from on the
boat that's trying to dock with all the black people
on it.
Speaker 6 (46:02):
That guy in the white shirt is crew from our
little dinner cruise, though, we got off our ship to
go over there to move that black pontoon boat on
his own, because those guys the park there were told
not to leave it there, and they left it there.
Speaker 5 (46:19):
So he's just pushing it off, all right.
Speaker 3 (46:23):
Well, as the crew member was trying to get this
boat to move, this pontoon boat, and they would not move.
He then was attacked, yes, all right. And the people
that attacked him, by the way, it's all white people
that were attacking him, and it's all caught on video.
And it turned into a huge brawl when the first
of all, one sixteen year old who they're calling school
but gooding juniors swam over to help this man who
was being attacked. And then the boat docked and everybody
(46:45):
came off and joined in, and it turned into a
whooping for the white people, all right.
Speaker 5 (46:51):
The Mayor, Stephen L.
Speaker 3 (46:52):
Reed responded to the incident with the post on social
media last night. The Montgomery Police Department acted swiftly to
detain several reckless individuals for attacking a man who was
doing his job. Warrens had been signed and justice will
be served. He said, this unfortunate incident should have never happened.
Those who chose violence will be held accountable by our
criminal justice system. So far, four active warrens have been issued,
(47:15):
with the possibility of more. We want to see what
you guys think. This was such a viral moment more
than a moment. Let's see what you think.
Speaker 1 (47:22):
AZ.
Speaker 4 (47:23):
How are you hey?
Speaker 9 (47:25):
How's you going? ANDREI?
Speaker 5 (47:27):
Oh good, thank you.
Speaker 3 (47:27):
What are your thoughts on watching what happened at the
Riverfront and Montgomery?
Speaker 8 (47:31):
My thoughts was, I thought it was sad.
Speaker 9 (47:33):
At first, I.
Speaker 11 (47:33):
Didn't know that he was working there, so I listen
to the radio.
Speaker 15 (47:35):
You guys got at the insight on it that he
wasn't working there, and so it's like he was doing
his job. So that made even more sad. But as
I'm watching it, I'm like, I'm not swim for a
living and everything. I'm like, yo, if I was there,
I have jumped off and helps or.
Speaker 1 (47:47):
Whatever like that.
Speaker 11 (47:48):
And then you coming in the corner swiming.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
I'm like, yes, it was like a movie.
Speaker 11 (47:53):
No help it. Yeah, that guy was getting and no
one came to help, and everybody got they phoned out.
Speaker 15 (47:58):
So it's glad to see why, like people jump and
I hope this bought up like everybody like or somebody's
in trouble, like helps them let me your phone up.
Speaker 3 (48:06):
Yeah, okay, well, thank you. I appreciate that. And let
me tell you something. The fact that we were able
to see, like I said, what happened from the beginning.
I think that really helps because it's not like he
did anything to anyone, and he was very polite.
Speaker 1 (48:18):
He was trying to get them to move.
Speaker 4 (48:19):
He was just trying to work, Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 11 (48:22):
Just doing his job and they were told to get
the move beforehand. So I mean, like, you know.
Speaker 1 (48:26):
What I mean, you in the room, you're in the wrong.
Speaker 2 (48:28):
You mad and not for nothing. What if they just
what This man just got jumped and nobody intervened. He
really could have got hurt.
Speaker 1 (48:33):
Right they did it got hurt. Sometimes violence is not.
Speaker 5 (48:38):
Listen, all I know is when I throw my head up,
that's the best.
Speaker 11 (48:42):
All right, Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 9 (48:45):
Have a good day.
Speaker 5 (48:46):
Hey, Destiny, how are you?
Speaker 11 (48:50):
What are your.
Speaker 5 (48:51):
Thoughts about what went down in Montgomery?
Speaker 4 (48:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (48:54):
That made me the proudest black woman in the world. Okay,
I would be there because I would have been throwing
some blows too with them in I'm telling you that
made me very proud. They're still for something for me,
because you know, nowadays, everybody, well all the time, people
say black people don't do this for each other.
Speaker 8 (49:14):
Black people don't do this for each other.
Speaker 11 (49:15):
They don't do that. But yesterday, now every augustis for me,
is a national holiday.
Speaker 4 (49:21):
And it's a national holiday.
Speaker 3 (49:22):
And you know what, it's not over either, because I
also feel like, just like they're naming businesses for the
people that are there who were initiating this brawl and
who were being disrespectful. You know, let's show why you
was brave and bold out there when you thought this
man was by himself.
Speaker 5 (49:39):
Well, now let's see how you feel afterwards.
Speaker 11 (49:41):
Let's see. Let's which I say, the pull up game
was strong pull up game. I'm third maids.
Speaker 5 (49:51):
Already, they got shirts already. Okay, I'm not mad at it,
all right, but.
Speaker 11 (49:54):
Thank you, thank you. Have a good one.
Speaker 5 (49:58):
You too, Hey, piranhah, how are you?
Speaker 4 (50:01):
And you?
Speaker 3 (50:03):
What did you think when you saw this Montgomery, Alabama
Riverfront fight?
Speaker 1 (50:06):
Man?
Speaker 8 (50:07):
Look, you, I ain't never wanted to be in Alabama
so bad. The damn my damn life man.
Speaker 9 (50:12):
Real still, man, it's.
Speaker 8 (50:13):
Like God, you protecting me like this because I had
just left on hurd In like three days prime before
that happened.
Speaker 9 (50:19):
They had to.
Speaker 8 (50:20):
Little ride down there. I had just left on Atlanta
the morning before they had to ride down here, and
I just passed through Montgomery probably like three hours ride.
Speaker 4 (50:30):
To this, so we know to avoid.
Speaker 8 (50:36):
But I heard you'll talk about man the business or
whatever that was trending. Man, they taking down the tom
because y'all leave a comment or you on Google y'all.
Speaker 3 (50:45):
Got yeah, okay, all right, let's see.
Speaker 9 (50:49):
But it was good talking you anyway, those girl.
Speaker 3 (50:53):
You know what else is what's turning after that? Nathaniel
Alexander you know what that is? That is a guy
who actually invented the fothing chair, right.
Speaker 1 (51:05):
Black Man, right, yeah, right, us right, this.
Speaker 5 (51:13):
Cothing chair for his descendants to be used for times
like this.
Speaker 1 (51:15):
That's right, all right?
Speaker 8 (51:19):
And looking down, yeah.
Speaker 5 (51:22):
Looking Nathaniel black Man invented the pothing chair.
Speaker 4 (51:26):
That's hilarious.
Speaker 5 (51:28):
Henicle, how are you?
Speaker 9 (51:32):
I'm thinking on the computer?
Speaker 11 (51:34):
Okay, so.
Speaker 3 (51:36):
Hey, hey, what are your thoughts about Montgomery, Alabama?
Speaker 11 (51:41):
Okay?
Speaker 12 (51:41):
My thoughts are I remain on one hundred and fifty percent.
I am so happy. I don't First of all, I
don't condone or like my However, I am so happy
to black people stick together because most of the time
people just take out their phone and just watch things happen,
and nobody does anything these days. So I appreciate people
sticking together.
Speaker 9 (51:59):
Becaud.
Speaker 12 (52:00):
I just saw the video about an hour ago, and
it's disgusting that guy. I totally thought it was okay
to go and run upon him and punch him like
it nothing like he was getting the chance to.
Speaker 8 (52:08):
Hit a black person.
Speaker 1 (52:10):
That's right, all right, we'll good.
Speaker 3 (52:12):
I love to see it, and I love all of
the memes that have come out of this. You know,
imagine you want a boat, you've been out all day,
you can't wait for the boat to dock.
Speaker 1 (52:20):
You're trying to get off.
Speaker 3 (52:21):
Yeah, and these people have the nerve to feel like
they ain't got a move even though they were told
they couldn't be there.
Speaker 5 (52:26):
Yeah, you must be out of your mind.
Speaker 3 (52:29):
All right, Well that was just you guys weighing in
on what you saw happen a super viral moment at
the riverside in Montgomery, Alabama. And when we come back,
it's a Monday, so you know what that means. We
got a hustle hard baby, It's time for a Monday,
Manal Basis. It's way up with Angela yee.
Speaker 7 (52:47):
Hey, yeah, you back at it, the way up with Angela.
Speaker 1 (52:54):
Ye is on.
Speaker 5 (52:56):
Yes, it's way up with Angela.
Speaker 4 (52:57):
Yee.
Speaker 3 (52:57):
I'm Angela yee. Jasmine is hair, yep, I'm here. Mano
is here. Today is also Monday, and so this is
when Mano gets really motivated.
Speaker 4 (53:15):
We love a.
Speaker 3 (53:15):
Monday, but we also got to get back into the work. Sometimes,
depending on what you got going on, it can be
like here we go.
Speaker 1 (53:21):
It can be like, yes, here we go. No hesitation
and no situation, but happiness. Right, everybody is striving for happiness.
And I saw something very interesting this morning and I
even reposted on my stories and it said happiness is
not the absence of problems, it's just having the ability
(53:43):
to deal with them. So the thing about that is
people wake up and they say, oh man, I'm having
a bad day. Oh man, I'm going through this, this
is this and that and that's happening. The way you
look at things is what you're going to manifest. So
if you say you say you're having a bad day,
you own any you're putting that into a universe. Guess what,
you won't have a bad day. You understand, you got
(54:04):
to accept some of those those roadblocks, those mishaps, those
flat tires, those extra bills. You gotta accept that as
just part of being just the journey. That doesn't mean
that you're not happy, though, because your highest level happiness
is you still don't have problems, still don't.
Speaker 4 (54:21):
Have Issuesky, are you happy?
Speaker 1 (54:23):
May know?
Speaker 5 (54:23):
Absolutely, yeah, he does seem very He comes in here teasing.
Speaker 3 (54:26):
I agree with you, though, because there's some things in
life that you can feel like it's out of your control.
Speaker 5 (54:31):
You know, I was talking about this.
Speaker 3 (54:32):
I have this house I'm working on, yes, And the
neighbor is constantly.
Speaker 4 (54:38):
Trying to bring your happiness den, trying to yes.
Speaker 5 (54:41):
Always every time they start working.
Speaker 3 (54:43):
She's reporting to the Department of Buildings, she's calling three
one one.
Speaker 1 (54:47):
She's dead Da da da dad.
Speaker 3 (54:48):
And it could be something that you'd be like, man,
this is never gonna get done. But instead I'm like,
you know what, she seems very miserable. I'm gonna just
have to deal with it, and there's nothing I could
do about it, and she can't stop me at some
point we're going to keep on having to deal with it,
and at some point the lawyers are going to be like,
the court is going to have to deal with it,
and that's what it is.
Speaker 1 (55:05):
Let go and let go. Can I can, I says?
Speaker 4 (55:08):
Can I just say? I google what brings true happiness?
Speaker 3 (55:11):
Here we go deep die deep die true. Okay, but
true happiness is enjoying your own company and living in
peace and harmony with your body, mind and soul.
Speaker 1 (55:22):
That's right.
Speaker 4 (55:23):
Okay, So you're happy, Jasmine, I'm I'm I'm all right.
Speaker 1 (55:26):
Are you happy or are you yes? You have to
accept happiness has to come from with them.
Speaker 4 (55:30):
Hey, I'm working on it.
Speaker 1 (55:31):
That's how you become a whole person.
Speaker 4 (55:33):
I'm working on it. I want to I want to
be happy by myself.
Speaker 1 (55:36):
That's right, you know, because nobody can give you happiness, right,
I agree that nobody can make you happy. You have
to already be happy.
Speaker 4 (55:42):
I'm working on it.
Speaker 3 (55:43):
And there's some people that are determined to not be happy. Yeah,
there's some people away from.
Speaker 5 (55:47):
Them, the wrong the world's against them.
Speaker 1 (55:53):
Yeah, we don't.
Speaker 4 (55:53):
We don't don't like that, you.
Speaker 3 (55:56):
Know, but you know, in all fairness, there are also
some people who are clinically pressed that no matter what
they realize, they can't get out of bed, they can't
do certain things, and so at that time they need help.
You need professional help. Yeah, sure, and so we acknowledge
that to that's different. Yeah all right, Well that is
our Monday mental vision.
Speaker 4 (56:14):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (56:15):
I love the accent I'm working on. I love it.
Speaker 3 (56:18):
As a matter of fact, in that accent, can you solicit?
Ask ye? What's coming up next?
Speaker 1 (56:23):
Asks ye?
Speaker 3 (56:23):
In the accent the accents, ye ask? I never don't
do it? Hold up and ask you eight hundred fifty.
You just ruined someone's happiness. Angelina Lee Angela.
Speaker 9 (56:41):
Ye.
Speaker 7 (56:42):
Everybody, whether it's relationship or career advice, Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 1 (56:47):
You should know.
Speaker 3 (56:48):
This is ask what's up? This way up at Angela Yee.
I'm Angela Yee. Jasmine is here and the award winning
advice giver Mano is here and it's time for you,
guys to ask any question you want and we're going
to help you out.
Speaker 5 (56:59):
Hello, this person wants to remain anonymous? How are you?
Speaker 9 (57:03):
I wish he was done?
Speaker 5 (57:04):
Okay, Well talk to Wes. What's going on?
Speaker 1 (57:07):
Well?
Speaker 9 (57:08):
Okay, I'm having a real hard time. I've been going
through a lot of things. First, take care of my
mom over six years now. She has a lot of
mental I'm doing it alone. I just at the point, well,
I don't want to get I'd say, she's really not
she's not doing right. She doesn't have have the right
(57:30):
wills in this situation. I mean, I love her, I
love her to death, but she's like she's getting to
a point where she's just comfortable because she knows who
I take care of everything.
Speaker 3 (57:40):
You know, right, So financially and emotionally, she just relies
on you, but she's not reciprocating what you need.
Speaker 9 (57:47):
Correct.
Speaker 1 (57:48):
Okay, Now let me ask you this.
Speaker 3 (57:50):
So you don't have any family members you said your sisters,
nobody is helping with your mom, correct, And so your
mom lives with you?
Speaker 9 (57:57):
Yes? All, I got her. I moved her home. She
was on station eight everything. We found her unresponsive, and
I just I took control of it, like, Okay, I'm
gonna just keep that word with me and we can
just take help each other, take care of them. But
my siblings they gone, they live in their life, you know,
And I'm going through all this stuff. I just recently
(58:19):
caught the case. So now I'm fighting fighting these charges.
It's a gun case, okay, and it's just so much
just said like I said, this wst my cousin. He
was murdered.
Speaker 12 (58:31):
He was in late Oh my god, it's just what.
Speaker 9 (58:37):
I'm in Cleveland.
Speaker 5 (58:38):
Okay, you're in Cleveland. You know what.
Speaker 3 (58:40):
I feel like, we need to get you somebody that
you can talk to regularly because you have a lot
of different things going on that you need help with.
Right You have a fiance who is not reciprocating what
you need right now, and you need a lot of
extra support right now. But if she's not doing the
fundamentals of what you need, that's not easy.
Speaker 1 (58:58):
And then it's your mind.
Speaker 3 (58:59):
We got to figure out a way for you to
not have that whole burden of dealing with your mom
who's suffering from mental health issues, for that all to
fall on you, especially because you have siblings that should
be able to help and step up to the plate.
But maybe there's also an outside solution that you can
have because that's a lot and sometimes you can't help
people if you're suffering too.
Speaker 1 (59:18):
Right, And is there a way that he could get
his mother some type of help, like from the state. Yeah,
like some type of doctors or you know, facility and something.
Speaker 9 (59:28):
I got herb I've been in touch with these social
workers and stuff like that. Today she was supposed to
go to her appointment. I called up for work and
guess what. I got coused out by her. And I
guess well, I just got to take it, you know.
Speaker 1 (59:41):
But she doesn't know. She don't like, she don't really
know what she's doing. Yeah, she's not.
Speaker 3 (59:47):
And you know, you might feel like you're doing the
right thing, but it might be better for everyone, even her,
if she is has around the clock cares at a place,
if there's a way you can make that happen, could
know so, And I think that would be great for you.
And sometimes things don't go well with our significant other
if we're not right too right, because it's a lot
that you have going on with yourself and that can't
(01:00:09):
affect your relationship as well.
Speaker 9 (01:00:11):
She got work, but she can talk bad about everything
I do. Yeah, I drink, I do whatever I get
off of work. I work hard. I work too. I'm
a supervisor. Yeah, I have my drink, I have my piece.
But she have a drink and don't go to work
and then truss and cuss at me about what I'm
doing though.
Speaker 3 (01:00:28):
You know, Yeah, I think the root of the issues
that you have right now is you have too many
responsibilities that are on you and you're not able to
take care of yourself.
Speaker 9 (01:00:37):
Right.
Speaker 3 (01:00:38):
So there might be things that you're doing that does
bother her and things that she does that bother you.
But for yourself, if you can't even handle you, you
can't be in a relationship, right. In a relationship to
people have to be whole. You can't be relying on
the other person for the piece of you that's missing. Yeah,
So we want you to bring your best self, and
in order for you to do that, I think the
first step is to figure out what to do with
(01:00:59):
your mom, all right, that's not an easy situation. And
then then I think after that you have to tackle
all of the issues with the gun case. Legally, that's
something you have to handle. You have to make sure
you have an attorney, yes, all right, that's handling that
situation that hopefully. I don't know what your attorney is
telling you, but I think you have to tackle these
issues one by one. But it feels like the root
(01:01:20):
of things is not having support for having your mom
in the house, and if your family doesn't want to
step up to the plate, maybe that's a responsibility where
you guys can find someplace where she can get around
the clock care and then everybody can share in that responsibility.
Speaker 9 (01:01:34):
Yeah, you're right. I'm just let's let's tell y'all. I
appreciate to ye. I know, dance man, everybody, I just
won't everybody say yes.
Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
Stay strong, bro, hold on the line.
Speaker 3 (01:01:46):

all right, hold on, all right.

and Queens they're having block parties and then they have
more block parties coming up throughout and so people are outside.
Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
Yeah, it's kind of like the birthplace.
Speaker 5 (01:03:47):

fifty is the number.
Speaker 9 (01:04:36):
What's up? Ye, I just wanted to shine a lot
on my battles, Scenari and Ariana. They just started their

I just want to shine a lot on my daughters.
Speaker 16 (01:04:52):
Hey, I was on hold to talk about the river
Front Grable. What I was saying was, I was so
happy to see black you will us come together as
one finally to stick up for one another. Instead of
just recording something and trying to post it up to
the blog to see how many lights that we get,
we actually did something about it. And I think this
(01:05:13):
is going to be the start of something. So letting
people know, like, don't play with us. We can't stick
entire thinking that you have privilege.
Speaker 14 (01:05:22):
And you don't.
Speaker 11 (01:05:22):
We're all humans, That's all I want to suspect.
