Then rejections, she said she loves her, but you'll see
(01:06):
or it is a small Yeah, what't you take all
that out? It has to be no, you know, Okay, yeah, okay, well, yeah,
we'll talk to her about and talk to her about it. Yeah,
but I think that's a you know, it's a good thing.
She feels better. We saw her get baptized in the
name of Jesus. Yes indeed. Um. So it is also

over the weekend and we'll talk about that this morning.
Cheryl Lee Ralph when we had her on the show, Yes,
she talked about an incident of something that happened to her.
She was at a party and a TV judge, a
famous TV judge, came and shoved his tongue down her
throat in front of everybody, and then she was told
by executive not to say anything. Yes, and so now
(01:51):
there's a judge who responded to this. We're going to
talk about that in a little while, okay, But um,
I want to get some real legal advice on this
because we want to see if he really has a case.
Because I think I'm a lawyer, but i'm everyone they
were a lawyer. If she didn't say no name while
he's saying exactly right. But we're gonna see because I
don't know. He kept saying innuendo, innuendo. That was that
(02:14):
was his buzzwork. And I'm not a real expert. So
Adam Orum Lamb will be calling us. He's an attorney, okay,
who works with Way Up with d Angelagine. He's gonna
let us know his expert opinion. But right now, let's
get the show started, where you guys get to call
and shine a light on somebody who did something amazing
for you, or maybe it's just somebody you saw on
the news and you're like, this person's really dope. I
(02:34):
want to shine a light on them doing something positive.
But we started off always with positivity, because you know,

people doing positive things who have impacted our lives in
some way, even if you don't know them personally. People
do have an impact, yes for sure. And eight hunt
on fifty is a number. I want to shine a
light on somebody. Okay, my girl Ingrid Best. Yes. Now,
Ingrid has worked in the spirits industry for like decades.
(03:39):
I feel like, um, you know, she's worked from places
for Ditty, at Siroc and Delian, She's worked with jay
Z for douce Et McCarty. Before that, she was at
Hennessy and Belvedere. That's basically you know what she does.
And now she has left to launch her own wines,
Best of Wines. But she's also a really good friend
(04:00):
of mine and a great business person. So when I
need advice on certain things, she's the person that I call.
When I'm trying to figure out the best way to
structure a deal, She's the person who I call. So
I want to shout out to Ingrid Best. She just
spent some months in South Africa because her wine is
gonna be coming in from South Africa, and so she
was out there for a few months developing everything. So
I love somebody that can take a leap of faith
(04:21):
for themselves. And she really is a definition of a
woman supporting other women. She always supports. So shout out
to ingrid Best. Now we want you guys to shine
a light. Eight hundred two nineteen fifty one fifty Hello,

please do your thing. I'm loving it. Thank you. Charles,
do you want to shine a light on born in Bam?
Good morning, missus. Charles calling from Moving, Kentucky. I'm gonna
retired marine. I just want to shine the light on
one of the marine guys that took me on this
wing when I came in in nineteen ninety eight. He
(05:50):
didn't have to. He took me on this wing, showed
me how his military game work. I had to move
and because of that, I had a glorious career. So
gonna Resarge and White shine in my life on you,
all right, Sergeant White, thank you so much and thank

(06:12):
you want to shine a light on this morning? My
pastor schedule and Debra Carthon, Okay, it wasn't if it
wasn't for them, my probably wouldn't be here today. I'm
a veteran, so they helped me through a very very
bad time. Well, first of all, thank you for your service.
(06:32):
Thank you, We appreciate you, and we want to shine
a light on you as well. But I am so
glad to hear that. So you're able to go to churists,
talk to your pastor. Yeah, for three years I was
in my car, so they have me a lot. That's
a blessing. All right. Well that's a great couple to
shine a light on this morning. All right, Well that
was shine a light on. I'm eight hundred two nine
(06:53):
fifty one fifty. In case you didn't get through, you
can always leave a message for the last word. And
when we come back, we have yet book. You talking
the biggest story over the weekend, Jonathan Majors. Find out
what happened, got arrested. But now they're saying that the
woman is recanting her story. We'll tell you all about it.
It's way up with Angela yee yo. She about to
blow the lead above this part it come and get
(07:17):
the tea. But what's up? It's way up with Angela Yee.
I'm Angela Yee. Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here
in New Mano Mano's back in the building. All right,
I love our prep behind the scenes off air. But
we were talking about Jonathan Majors. Now, Jonathan Majors was
arrested over the weekend in New York City Saturday morning.
Please responded to a call. It was around eleven PM
(07:39):
and it was somewhere in Chelsea in Manhattan. He is
being accused of assaulting a woman, his girlfriend, and according
to TMZ, they were in a taxi returning home from
a bar in Brooklyn. They got into a heated discussion.
They said that she actually looked at his phone and
so he was texting another woman. Oh oh, and then
he was angered by this age. She was angered. First, yeah,
(08:02):
she was angered. Then he was angered that she was
looking at his phone allegedly, and then he proceeded to
grab her hand and slap her. The woman also says
that he put his hands around her neck. Oh okay.
Now he's denying all of these claims. According to his attorney,
he's done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his
name and clearing this up. By the way, right after
this happened, the US Army pulled commercials that featured his
(08:25):
voice on it, The be All You Can Be commercials.
There's two of them. He was an on screen narrator.
They pulled them on Sunday. Even though he hasn't been
found guilty of anything, he's been accused and now she
is recanting the assault allegations. So she provided a statement
outlining the situation, and the attorney is saying that he
is completely innocent. I believe that he's innocent, but we
(08:47):
don't know what okay, freedom, all right, Well, he's not
locked up man, According to his statement. The evidence that
they expect will clear him includes video footage from the
vehicle where the episode took place, witness testimony from the
driver and others who both saw in her the episode,
and most importantly, two written statements from the women recanting
(09:09):
the allegations. They said the woman was having an emotional
crisis and she was taken to the hospital for that
emotional crisis, so she didn't she wasn't bruised up. Well,
now they didn't. They didn't say that may according to
the according to the report, you know, he caused minor
injuries to her head and neck, and his reps have
(09:30):
released statements saying that he did nothing wrong. He just
probably restrained her. We're gonna wait and see. May I
do think the US Army though, pulling those commercials right away?
Yeast all right now. Chloe Bailey has responded to backlash
(09:51):
that she's gotten over the sex scene and swarm did
you wut? Swarm? Aino. No, it'sn't like the first five
minutes of the series. So that's how I like it,
the first five minutes. And you know, it's the scene
with her and dancing. It's just highly enough. No one
cares that dancing. It just did the scene, but they
were mad that Chloe Bailey did it. It's acting, by
the way, it is right, That's what I say. And
(10:13):
so here is what she had to say about all
of that backlash that she got and people being so
mad about it. While she was on Big Boys Neighborhood.
I was doing my job, and I think people just
kind of got to remember I'm an adult and I'm
an artist, and nothing, nothing was seen that they haven't
seen for me. She's twenty four years old. That was
(10:33):
just about what's the problem. Yeah, yeah, I guess we're
just not used to seeing her that way. How how
we used to seeing, not having sex. She's also very
sexy in her video performances. Listen, guys, I'm just telling
you what watch. Some people are reacting she backside and
everything she does. So you saw that part, but you
(10:54):
haven't seen swarm. Somehow, I've not seen swarms. Have you
seen the clip we're referring to? No, I'm interested now
anyway that is here. Yet when we come back, we
have about last night. That's what we talk about. Things
that we did last night that we feel like y'all
would love to hear about, and I relate to. I'll
tell you about some of the things that I had
(11:14):
going on over the weekend. All right, it's way up
with Angela yet night, Yes, it is way up with Angela. Yee.
I'm here the Jasmine brand. Jasmine from the Jasmine Brand
is here and now May now but baby new Mayno
is here and we're doing about last night. And I
(11:35):
want to talk about something I was watching on Netflix. Okay,
I know y'all probably didn't watch this yet. No, probably not.
But it's money Shot the porn Hub Story. Okay, it's
a series on Netflix and it kind of talks a
lot about how porn Hub started and then a lot
of the issues that they had with trafficking. There was
one girl who was under age, and she said she
kept telling them take this video down. Okay. You know,
(11:58):
imagine a video of you essentially getting raped is being
put up and then you tell them to take it down,
and it takes them a week to finally take it down,
and then it gets posted back up again. Yeah, immediately, dad,
if you watched this yet, I fell asleep on it.
I started to watch it right. But then on the
other side, because they do present both sides, there was
one woman on there that basically was making a living
(12:20):
just setting everything up in her home, right and posting herself, yeah,
and putting out content, you know, for part and making
her living like that. So you have both sides. But
it's really hard to be okay with a company that
is profiting off of you know, under age and trafficking.
Did they do anything to regulate that though, I mean,
(12:41):
now is something in place to regulate that. I don't
know how they do, but they're supposed to. I just
think that, like it's you know, somebody said, this is
a company that does exactly what Facebook does well, and
everybody said that we were talking about how Twitter you
can see Yes, it was just a I haven't watched
(13:01):
all of it yet, but it was just interesting to
see even how like they make sure that they optimize
Google Search, so as soon as you put in anything
to do a porn porn hub pops up like the
first second third they got the good SEO is what
they basically have. But one thing we were talking about
here was the effects of porn on your love life. Yes,
and on marriage, because I was I did a deep
(13:22):
dived on marriage dot com. Okay, and they're talking about
some of the major effects of pornography is losing control.
They said, one starts to lose control over oneself. We've
been taught to control our emotions and feelings, to handle
things with maturity. A person who is a pornography addict
and the attic is different than somebody who casually watches.
What determines an addict though? Is it every you what Like,
(13:44):
say you're on the plane watching porn. You know you're
missing appointments in appropriate places. If you're at home and
you're like, I'm not going to make it to work today.
Mayne did not do a test to see if you
were a sex addict and you were not. Yeah, I wasn't.
I don't even though I think maybe, well you know,
but listen, I'll tell you what. I don't think it's
that deep. I think with pawn, I mean, I think
(14:05):
you're just trying to let one go. Well for you,
but for some people it look here. So here's some
facts about porn and marriage. Right. More than fifty six
percent of divorces had a partner with a porn addiction.
Oh did you know that? It's According to marriage dot Com,
forty million Americans, most men have admitted to watching porn regularly.
Outside sexual influences can hurt marriage. The expectations expectations of
(14:27):
sex and the marriage can be distorted due to porn
and watching porn can also affect your emotional intimacy with
your partner, and passion in the relationship can be diluted
if you watch too much porn. So how often would
you say I knew this is why I wasn't married?
How how often do you watch porn? Very often? What
does that mean? That? Like? Every not every day? But
(14:50):
oh I don't think. I think, okay, that's not I
feel like every day sometimes it could be every day,
but not every day. So listen, I did a shallow dive.
And there's this article that gives you seven bad habits
that destroy your brain, and one of them is watching porn.
Chronic porn usage is correlated with changes in the brain.
Watching porn hijacks the brain's reward system and overwhelms it
(15:12):
with cheap hits of dopamine. The result is the brain
physically deteriorating in shape, size, and chemical balance. But that's chronic, right,
And that's the main thing here, is doing too much.
If anything can be well not well, maybe every day, Yeah,
I would think every day constantly, you know, multiple times today.
Maybe I don't know that chronic got that chronic corn
(15:33):
trying my god. I think that's fine, you know, but
you know they do say it can make you emotionally distant,
so it might be something for you to pay attention to. Yeah,
bringing on back, all right, well that is you're about
last night if anybody watched Money Shot the porn Hut story. Now,
when we come back, we have tell us a c Great,
that's when you get to call in and Mano loves this.
(15:55):
By the way, this is one of your favorite seconds. Mantos.
Don't here smiling. Right now, you get to tell us
a secret anonymously. We will not judge it. You hear me, Mano,
something has to be a little bit judged. Eight hundred
two nine two fifty one fifty call us up to
tell us a secret. It's way up with Angela. Yee.
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret. Yes,
(16:16):
it is way up with Angela, yee. I'm here, Jasmine
from the Jasmine Brand is here and new Mano, Yeah
it's here baby. Okay, you guys got to clear your
minds okay, and remember that there's no judgment. I think
that's hardest for probably Mano. Thank for tell us a secret. Yeah,
for tell us a secret. Main. I love tell us
a secret. Yeah, but you like to you also like
to kind of judge. Maybe he got so mad the
(16:38):
last time we didn tell us a secret that he
hit me after the show days later, Like yo, Mayo,
be bothered by some of y'all secrets. You're not supposed
to be, man We're supposed to just let them listen,
get it off, and people need a good talking to.
But Mayno's from Brooklyn. He's real, you know, so certain
things is gonna bother him. He's real. He's real, he's like,
he's really like because he's got a lot of morals
(17:00):
about him. Oh my goodness, you don't like morals. I
do like mos Man with the morals medium morals. Now
he does when it comes to himself. Now to bibe
by those samest anonymous caller, tell us your secret. So
me and my son mother, we had like a little
small falling apart like relationship by her, but um, we're cool,
(17:25):
we too. So she ended up having a partner, like
just a one time partner, so she said. And then
it's like probably like a month ago. Then we ended
up looking up. So I kept her throne for kind
of like motivation, and that kind of helped, like the
less next time, he was just like an own go
(17:46):
or I was just s melling it like literally just
kept it in my damn, just kept it with me.
I'm sorry, How does it what today? Like? How does
it smell? She wore him? Or you look like her
own smells like her? Like? So it wells good. It's
just it's like a weird attractor. I don't know. I
ain't never from time to time do you smell them? Yeah?
(18:09):
And I ain't watch and it's been right now, it's
probably been about a month. How often do you smell him?
So I spoke this morning before that time, like like
a week or so ago. But it's smell a button area,
the whole thing. And then what do you like, how
long does this go on for? Do you do anything
(18:31):
while you're smelling it or you just smell it and
put it back. I have masturbated before to the best
of them, and then I went from smelling them and
then we got like a little video a couple of videos,
and you know, I'm masturbated to that. So but it
was just like if I didn't even need the morning
like normally you need. I need wanted to like beat
something like two birds whatever, but no, I just feel
(18:55):
the time you want her back, right, you know you
know that feels like you want her back. That's what
the motivation is, right to get her back, right, I mean,
that's the person, that's my person. But I gotta get
over the play that you had another another somebody so
they want to cheat like you want together. But I
gotta look at her to say different ways. You'll be fine.
(19:18):
You're not smelling him on there? Are you? What? Nothing?
I'm ale, all right, but thanks for sharing. All right,
Anonymous Carla tell us a secret whatever, so I don't
want no judgment on it. You know it's nothing really
good judge though, may no, No, it is okay, no judgment,
(19:40):
may know exactly. May so I got two other kids
that don't nobody know about that. Ain't funny? Are you laughing? They? Now?
You know? Ain't nothing crazy? You know? I send them
stuff here and there when I can't just stuff. They
don't even live here. Me and my friends, we don't.
I say, probably won every six months down to dark
(20:05):
jump down in dark. You wouldn't paid for that. So
the chick tooks me up the next time up there.
She was like, hey, I'm pregnant. I said no. She's like, yes,
did you get a test? No, didn't get no tests.
She just said she's like, I need your passport. I
was like, no, you're not getting my passport. So you
had twins. You had twins, so look had one with her?
(20:28):
Another hit Kobe down there. Now this is probably they're
probably scamming for real. I don't know how true it is.
They from day so you went and purchased you a
situation and then and then went and had kids something
like that. But you don't know for sure if these
are your kids, I won't lie. The one looked like me,
the other one don't. The one looks very similar. One
(20:50):
of them is yall, definitely one of them. Definitely. Are
you gonna get a test? I'm just gonna send them
what they want me to send them. I don't even
have a problem, you know, Do you have anything dollars?
Dollars go a long way. Do you have any kids
here in the states where you live? Do you have
any children? Yeah? I got I got two kids. Okay,
(21:12):
they got and they got they got half Dominican brothers
and sisters. I wouldn't care, you know, they they can
ask you for it. I would give it to him.
I'll take care of But it's the going for me
that that's that's no judgment. It's no judgment. You know,
it's no judgment. Okay, right, dodging somebody on here, that's
the fact he said, you stay judging somebody, not really.
(21:34):
I know you've been of course I did. Of course
I did keep it on. Done. Let me ask you this,
when all this haven't been you know, said and done?
Are you gonna have from now? On use condoms. Are
you still doing you you know what? No, no, no, hey,
(21:57):
I might as well not even do it if I'm
gonna put one on, all right, So thanks for caring,
Thanks for sharing. I don't want to judge, all right,
joel Oh wow, phone line was burning? All right? Well,
(22:17):
that was tell us a secret. Thank you guys for calling.
I love to say, no judgment. But there's a lot
you guys always me. That was you two jazz. I
have to check you. That was a lot all right.
Well eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty If
you all want to leave a message for last word
and tell us a secret, you know, we love to
hear from you, guys. And when we come back, we
(22:38):
have yet and we'll talk about a trial that is
starting today and he is facing some time. Ladies and gentlemen.
It's way up with Angela yee, they say sooth in
the room from industry Shade to all the gossip Angela's spell. Yes,
it is way up with Angela. Ye, I'm Angela yee.
Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here and no maynow, yes,
(23:01):
I'm back. Mayno's in the building and let's do this yet,
all right, ro prizes. Trial starts today. It's a federal
prizes from the Fuji's. Yes. And if you don't know
what's happening with him, he's facing decades in jail. Wow.
And he's standing trial in Washington, DC. That's for conspiracy
and other charges. Jury selection actually starts today and they're
(23:22):
saying this is something that has to do with political
maneuvering international intrigue. He faces charges including conspiracy, witness tampering,
and failing to register as an agent of China. All right,
he came, so let's talk about what happened. Do y'all
understand he's an agent of China. Yeah, And I'm gonna
tell you this is what happened, all right. In case
we don't know, there's a billionaire. His name is Joe Lowe.
(23:44):
He allegedly got some money from Malaysia's government, billions of
dollars to fill his own pockets and to try to
get in with celebrities and American presidents. He's a fugitist
from justice. He's believed to be in China surprises, standing
trial on his own in this case. Now, he received
prides received over one hundred million dollars from this guy.
(24:05):
That's a lot of money, and that is what they're
saying one of the largest embezzment schemes in history, and
that was to use back channel influence to convince the
president of the United States at the time to drop
a federal investigation into Low and to agree to the
extra judicial removal of a Chinese exile living in the
United States. So they're saying, first it was an illegal
(24:25):
plan for him to he was actually trying to get
people to raise money for Barack Obama to attend a dinner,
and he promised to give them forty thousand dollars allegedly
reimburse him that money for the cost of the tickets
for this dinner for the presidential campaign. And then they're
claiming that he threatened some of them if they came
clean to authorities. And the second thing that they're saying
is a plan that allegedly involves a secret lobbying campaign
(24:50):
to help this billionaire Low lean on American justice officials
and White House officials when his fraud scheme unarraveled. So he,
I guess, was trying to interfere in all of that.
It's a pretty complicated situation. He faced some time yeah,
So he actually has a lot of witnesses coming forward
(25:10):
that on his list. Ben Carson, we know him, yes,
right then? And then also um Steve Wynn, the casino
magnet from Vegas, and former US Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
So he wass man, I don't think, I don't care
what it is. Free prize. All right, Well let's try
this one. Mayno, you were here for this whole situation, right,
(25:33):
Taxdone versus Troy ab Taxdone has been found guilty of
shooting and killing Troy av zbarding guard Bangam. And that
was during a TI content in twenty sixteen at Irving Plaza.
You were there that it happened in the dressing room
that I was occupying with me and Uncle Murdle. We
was performing at night, or were set to perform at night.
(25:54):
My only issue with that is is that, um, I
just don't agree with the narrative that's been put out
there is if you know taxtone was there to try
to look for a problem, tax Tone was actually there.
That man was dead, chilling, right, that man was there,
you know, you know chilling, you know, enjoying a moment,
and you know, you know these other dudes came in
there looking for a problem. These other dudes came in
(26:15):
there with that energy, looking to try to have a moment,
and the moment just didn't go their way. So I mean,
I just have a you know, I just in disagreement
with the whole narrative of becoming a victim after you
tried to be an aggressor. All right, Well, the one
thing for Taxton is that it was not first degree murder,
(26:36):
right that he ended up getting charged with. Shut out
the tax toone. It was manslaughter, right, right, So yeah,
and I think tryav is, you know, very happy about
this whole situation, right, Have you spoke to Taxton he
had been in contact with him throughout the time somewhat, Yeah, definitely.
But I mean my whole thing is this, though, like
how you like how you out here celebrating, you know,
(26:58):
just getting on the stand after you try to create
a situation that you know that just didn't go your way, right,
So when you and then here's another narrative, that's that
that people I see people out here trying to hang
on to that man was never accused of of murder
of his friend, right, So he was never arrested for
the murder of his own friend. They was never putting
(27:20):
the murder of his of his friend on him. It
was for firing the gun in there. That the guns
and the guns that he got caught with. So he
worked out a deal with the prosecutor to get less
time for those guns that he got caught with. You understand.
So that was his um uh, you know, motivation to
get understanding and testify against Taxton. All right, Well, I
(27:43):
mean and clearly the two of them had already had
issues before that, so right, I mean, so that that
that was the motivation. To see a lot of back
and forth and people on social media like, well, why
wouldn't he testify against somebody that's that? Don't cool? Cool? Right?
But if say the whole truth, right, don't make it
seem like that man is there to try to assassinate
you when that's not the truth. The truth of the
matter is you actually came there on that time, you
(28:07):
walking in in that room and try to create the
situation that left you a victor. You thought that maybe
you was gonna get you a world star moment. Now
do we know how much time that because he hasn't
been sentenced yet. The tapstone is actually going to be
facing Yeah, we don't know that yet. No, we're not
going to know that until until they actually sentence him.
(28:27):
All right, well that is your yet. Thank you Mano
for weighing it because I know that's not easy. You
were there that night in the room. All right, when
we come back, we have under the radar. Those are
stories that are not necessarily headline news stories. They are
flying under the radar, but we still feel like you
need to know about him. It's way up with Angela yee.
These stories are flying under the radar. Yes, it is
a way up with Antela yee. I'm Angela Yee. Jasmine
(28:49):
from the Jasmine brand is here and new Man it's
in the building and we're gonna have some fun under
the radar. Well, some of them are fun under the
radar stories. These stories are not necessarily Had nine news
as they are flying under the radar, but we think
you should know about them. Let's go to Philly first.
There was a chemical spill in Philadelphia. Local residents are
on high alert. Officials initially recommended residents use bottle water
(29:11):
out of an abundance of question, but on Sunday they
said that tap water is safe until at least through
eleven fifty nine pm Monday, because the water currently available
to customers was treated before the spill reached Philadelphia. They
said there is no need to buy water at this time.
Customers can fill bottles or pitchers with tap water with
no risk. At this time. I would still get the
(29:31):
bottle water. Yeah, yeah, if I can, if I can
do what, I would still be getting bottle water to
be safe. All right, So just letting y'all know about that.
All right. Now, let's talk about would you let your
husband have a girlfriend who looks just like you? A
Long Island woman actually got a woman who looked just
likely to bring into her troubled marriage to keep her
husband's eyes from wandering outside the home. Tamina Quintana is
(29:55):
her name. She was devastated when her husband Briant, cheated
on her less than three years into their manag marriage,
and she wondered if an open marriage could be the solution.
Here is what she had to say. Once I spoke
to Kira, they would go out in my mind that
she was what we needed in this solutionship in the
past point you know, hasn't been faithful and I feel
like if you are with a man, you should do
whatever is required to make that work nice. So she
(30:18):
looked for a third and Kyra was enticed by the
idea of being in a threatle. She flew to New
York to meet them and they said it was just
a friendship that turns sexual, and she has now unofficially
joined the marriage. They all share a bed together. Nice.
Maina loves this idea. I wonder is he going to
get home? I'm sorry, ahead, man, no, I think that.
I mean, she's a legend. I think school should be
named after her. All right, well, let's talk about another legend, Kenya.
(30:41):
Now there is a new TLC reality series calling Seeking
Brother Husband that premiered yesterday, and the show follows a
variety of couples where the woman is either dating other
men with her husband's knowledge and blessing, or in some cases,
there are brother husbands. All right, Kenya and Karl were
married for twenty six years, and now she decided that,
(31:04):
you know, she and her first husband were not interested
in sharing a bedroom any longer, so he has his
own room in their house, while Kenya shares her room
with the guy, Tiger Moonstone. That's her second husband. He's
an investor. Or. What twenty six years is a long
time to be married, so I feel like she deserves
a brother husband. Yeah. She said that they decided to
open up their marriage. They sat down with their three kids,
who were teams at the time, and shared the news.
(31:26):
She said, most of their parents friend's parents are divorced,
so my children were excited that we still love each
other and we're not coming to have the divorce talk
like the majority of their other friends. They had some questions,
but you know, they wondered how it would have worked
with they have another father, just kind of logistical things.
So he's sleeping in the other room while the other
guys sleeping with his wife. Yeah, basically, she said it's
(31:46):
only fair because basically he confessed to her that he
had feelings for a coworker. But instead of her getting angry,
she was like, let's all go out. And then she said,
my husband wanted several wives, but if he has that privilege,
I want to be able to talk to other people too.
I love that. I'm not mad at it's been working works.
She a legend too, mano. I yeah, they don't name
(32:07):
a small school like a small school legend. All right,
So that is a TLC reality series seeking brother husband.
We threw a little wrench in your plans. Well, we
do have the way up mix coming at the top
of the hour plus Black China. Really her name is
Angela White. Now it's going to be joining us. It
is way up with Angela Ye. She's like to talk
(32:30):
like a Angela Ye, like angela Ye. She's spilling it
all this is yet. Yes, it's way up at Angela Ye.
I'm here. Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here, New Mano.
I'm back. Mayno's here. By the way, I was looking
at the Jasmine brand and I see they're doing a
Real Housewives of New Orleans series according to rumors, and
(32:51):
they're casting. Yeah. I think that'll be a good show
New Orleans. I love New Orleans. I can imagine the
cast and the storyline The Real Housewives of is how
to say? Is that how they say? Baby? I love
how they say that? All Right, So, if you're in
New Orleans, you know, and you know somebody that might
be good or you might be good for the Real Housewives.
(33:13):
I could think of some people that would be great
on there. I can't too. I know, Angela, you know
a lot of people in New Orleans area. I think
Superstian might be good for that. Supers would be really
good for I feel like she might do her own show,
though really she should have her own show. I would
love I would watch that. I would watch her too.
All right, now, let's talk about Cheryl Lee Ralph and
this whole situation. She was on way Up with Angela Ye.
(33:34):
And this all came up because in her book, right,
she has her book about Diva two point zero, and
she briefly in her book mentions a situation where a
promoter put his hand on her leg and that there
were several instances where men were inappropriate to her. And
she started to question herself over that right as she
was a young actress on the come up. And she
(33:55):
then when we questioned her further about it, detailed and
experience that happened to her in front of network executives.
Here's what she said. This was a famous TV judge,
not Judge Matthis. I loved him. He's a great man.
I'm at a very public place, I had my suit on,
I was handling my business for the television show I
(34:16):
was on at that time. He and I were on
the same network. This man walked in, grabbed me by
the back of my neck, turned me around and rammed
his nasty tongue down my throne, and everybody at the
network saw it. I called Mark Morial, Mark Morel. He said,
(34:37):
you want me to send the police there right now?
Somebody at the network tapped me on the shoulder. They said,
please don't all right, well, Judge Joe Brown and then
posted because I guess a lot of people started tagging him, right,
he said, there's false rumors being spread that I mistreated
a certain lady twenty five years ago. By the way,
no one said twenty five years ago, right, Oh yeah,
(34:58):
you're right, he said, I categorically deny both those rumors
and any acquaintance with the lady in question. And then
somebody posted Judge Joe Brown from Mayor of Memphis and
said the timing is uncanny, and I guess he's trying
to say that he's running from mayor. Maybe that's why.
And then he also said that he might bring in
his team, his legal team. Here's what he had to
say as he did a video about this on YouTube.
(35:21):
I might bring in my legal crum and proceed for
defamation of character. You see when they put my face
thanks to hers, and they start doing that little stuff
there that becomes in your window, and I think I
know where the deep pockets are where I might proceed
or defamation of character. Now, so far, she hasn't said
(35:45):
anything that implicates me. Okay, yeah, she hasn't. She didn't
say any name. She just said it's not Judge Mathis. Yeah,
she's going to be clear who it was not. How
many TV judges are audience a lot? And how did
he know twenty five years ago? That was the fun
part that I was like twenty five years ago. I
don't think there's too many TV judges on the same
(36:06):
network as her around the same time. This didn't happen
twenty five years ago. I never met her twenty five
years ago. But she's been out more than one show too,
so we also don't know which networks she's talking about, right,
You're right, Angela, Yeah, because it's not like just one
show she's been on. You know, here's more fun what
Judge Joe Brown had to say the ball on defamation.
(36:26):
It is sufficient if the innue window it goes along
with the objectionable language, implies that it is someone else.
They don't even have to say it. It can be
innue window that's actionable. So somebody on a goddamn legal
crew ought to say, you need to be careful what
you do, because even if you aren't saying it, if
(36:47):
you are implying that, you become subject to a defamation action.
The fact that man it is I don't know this woman,
never met this woman, certainly haven't had any contact with her.
The word of the day is inu window and it's
like an insinuation. Okay, I love it all right. We
are going to get some legal advice though, from somebody
whether or not this innuendo would hold up in court
(37:09):
as defamation, right, because I don't want to be the
one over here speculating on what can and cannot be said. Right.
And I thought I was a lawyer, So maybe I'm
not a lawyer. Maybe a real lawyer can tell us
whether he has an actual case, right, So we'll find
out from an actual lawyer. Okay. We also have Black
China joining us this morning. Angela white angela white Yes,
because she has taken the fillers out of her face.
(37:31):
She's gotten rid of the silicone injections that she had before.
YE changed up her whole life. Back to Angela White.
You like her music too, Mayno, y'all could do a
song Mayno and Black China Mano and Angela White. Oh yeah, sorry, Yes,
she got a studio in her house. Really, yeah, she
(37:52):
has her own studio. We saw her do that during
the pandemic, didn't I didn't catch on it. All right, Well,
we do have Women's History Month coming up where we
celebrate amazing women doing great things. And then after that
we are gonna get a legal expert on the line,
Adam Ormland, aka a law bulldog, and he's gonna tell
us legally whether or not Judge Joe Brown has a case.
I feel like you might have a case against you,
(38:12):
Jasmine the Jasmine brand kid. All right, it's the way
up with Angela Yee celebrating the ladies doing Women's History Month.
Al Right, it is way up with Angela Yee and Jermaino.
Yes new Mayno. Your name is Jermaine, but we call
you Mayno. Yeah, that's a good that's a good nickname.
Did they call you Mayno before you were wrapping? Yes?
(38:33):
Always nickname, you were always Manoa. Okay, that's cute from
B I like that. I wonder if there's other Mayno's
running around, probably yeah, after me and Jasmine from the
Jasmine brand is here. She was always Jasmine's always jazz.
Happy Monday, guys, Yes, it's Happy Monday, and it is
Women's History Month. We got a few more days left, right,
four more days, all right, So we have two women
(38:54):
who we want to celebrate today. Mayno wanted to celebrate
somebody too, but I wanted to celebrate Ja Michelle. Okay,
I just like her pivot, all right, I'm just like
I just like I just like the level up. Yeah,
she looks good, she's pretty, and she's a businessman, entrepreneur.
She's making her money and staying out the way. She
really does, stay out the way. I like that. I
like that. And then she knows how to break the
(39:15):
Instagram when it's time to sell something like breaks it
every time. Ain't nothing wrong with breaking the instant look
good and breaking in internet Instagram and the Internet. And
she's been doing her acting. They don't over here drooling.
Why would you say that. I would say you're over
here drouling. I wouldn't say that, Okay, all right, A little,
a little little dribble coming out and she's also in Legacy.
(39:37):
It's on BT plus. Yeah, by the way to Manny
Halley Production Plus. Shout out to Manny. She's in that
along with A. J. Johnson. We love her, yeah, we do.
Also being Rames, Lisa Ray, Clifton Powell, Barton Fitzpatrick and
Are Fuller. So dope. Yeah, she's doing her thing. Yeah,
all right, now, who did you want to celebrate Jasmine
(39:58):
brand I wanted to sell a breat Bessie Callman. She
was the first African American woman and the first Native
American to hold a pilot license. She was the first
black person to earn an international pilot license. She was
born in eighteen ninety two in Atlanta, Texas. Did y'all
know there was an atlant attacks did it? That's how
I was asking, Yeah, there's Atlanta, Texas. So she developed
(40:21):
an early interest in flying. But you know, back then,
African Americans and minorities and women had no flight training
opportunities in the US. So she saved up and she
got a sponsorship in Chicago in Chicago to go to
flight school in France, and that's where she learned how
to fly. I love it and she's done lots of
things in this space. She took a French language class
(40:43):
in Chicago and then traveled to Paris so she could
actually earn her pilot license, which is a really big deal.
So she earned her pilot, her aviation's pilot license, and
became the first black person and to earn an international
aviation license from Federation International. All. You know, she was
planning to open a flight school. I know, I know,
(41:04):
and then disaster struck. Yeah, she actually died in a
plane crash. Yeah, in nineteen to twenty six. She hadn't
buckled her seatbelt because it prevented her from looking over
the side of the plane, and you know, yeah, horrible,
but yeah, shout out to Bessie Coleman. Yeah, all right,
now I wanted to celebrate somebody. I actually met this
woman in the airport last week, okay, and she gave
(41:26):
me her card and I was like, oh, this is
She told me that she's a perfumer. She makes sense
and so she's from Atlanta. She makes sense and sense
and her name is November Nichols. Okay. Several years ago,
she decided to turn a meditation because she had a
hectic work and travel schedule. She's a form of education consultant,
(41:46):
and her favorite meditation candle was discontinued, so then she
was like, I'm gonna make my own, and she started
selling them to her friends and strangers and eventually ended
up quitting her day job to focus on her new career.
And now, by the way, she has her own holistic
studio and boutique. It's called Artisan Musky and it's at
West Side Provisions District. It's a part well appointed living room,
(42:10):
part apothecary, part wellness studio. You can take a medication class,
a yoga class, you can shop, or you can just
hang out. And you also can design your own fragrance
at the botanical blending bar, or you can stretch your
body and mind. And the intimate and bright studio so
it's a nice space to offer a welcome retreat from
the chaos of the outside world. So shout out to
(42:33):
November Nichols. She actually came up to me and was like,
you know, I just want to congratulate you. You're doing
a great job and way up with Angela Yee and
then I was like, oh, well, what do you you know?
What do you what is it that you do? And
she gave me her card, and she was like, I
would love to make a sent for you when you
come to Atlanta. So I am going to be in
Atlanta for Mary J. Blige's Strength of a Woman festival,
So I'll stop by there. It's a Joda c performance
or I make that up. No, that's all you're so
(42:54):
excited for. That is at the room. I think the
sense she's going to name it after you. I think
you could just make your own scent so you can
like use it as your own perfume. You know what
I'm wearing today? What do you want right here? Hold on?
I had this Valentino. Okay, you gotta try to actually
keep it here so that I can make sure that
I always have my little bottle. Isn't it beautiful? Was
(43:16):
really good? Fy, Nicole. I'm on her Instagram. She's doing
an IG live November, Nicole. Yes, sorry, Nicols. November Nichols
is doing. I'm on her IG page. She's doing an
IG live this week, Okay, and she's gonna talk about
her journey. Well, you guys check her out. Though. I
was fascinated and then I did a little deep dive
to see who she was, and I was like, you
know what, that's dope. I'm gonna start doing some deep dive.
(43:36):
Ya doing some deep dives? Man? All right, well that
is your Woman's History month. Now you know, we have
Angela White aka Black China coming up. Okay, I wonder
if you google nothing, never mind what anybody want to google?
Anybody want to google Google Mano and Black China? Nothing comes? Okay,
(43:58):
all right, but we do we do have We also
want to make sure that we discuss as a deeper
dive because we love to do a deep dive. Adam
Ormland aka Law Bulldog is going to be joining us
to talk about the Cheryl Lee Ralph and Judge Joe
Brown situation. Does he have a case? It's way up
with Angela yet it bring it bringing the mic is on?
(44:25):
All right, So it's way up with Angela yee. And
we were talking about Judge Joe Brown and he's speaking
out amid speculation that he sexually assaulted Cheryl Lee Ralph.
Now we do have a very well known attorney on
the line. We have Adam Ormland aka law Bulldog. You
can follow him on social media at law Bulldog. Now Adam, Yeah,
(44:46):
how are you, angel How are you doing today. I'm good,
I'm good. How's everything, I'm good? Thank you. Now you
saw judge Joe Brown and what do you have to
say addressing Cheryl Lee Ralph And he's talking about defamation?
So does he have a case? He's only the case
if what she's saying or what she said is not true.
But she didn't really, she didn't call him out by name.
(45:07):
It's the media that's really throwing them together. And if
there is true to it, then that's her deformative offense.
And he's kind of no case. Okay, so she did
not mention his name, right, but he kept saying innuendo, innuendo?
What does that mean? Listen, it sounds like somebody who
is trying to sort of use fear tactic to stop
(45:28):
something from happening or spreading. It seems very strange to
me that he's taken this approach, but he's done stuff
in the past where he's tried to sort of shame possibly,
you know, the victims of the past rather than go
after the first years. Does he have a case if
he wants to sue any media outlets like say they
mentioned his name in the headline or they put his
(45:49):
picture at his picture or their speculation. Would he have
a defamation suit against a media outlet. I mean, he
could certainly try to do that. He could say, oh,
the Indian window alone is enough. But I think it's
a weak case. I really do. I lets you can show, yeah,
lets you can show that they're actually um. Anything that
they they're they're using based on what she said already
(46:10):
about him is not true. I don't think there's a
case here. I think he's just I think there's a
scare tactics that he's trying to use. Um when he
did this with when when Bill Cozi was being accused
of crimes, he was blaming victims as well. So it's
a little strange. But she never said his name, so
we kind of just put hisself in it, right, And
that's the joke of the two. She's not mentioning him.
(46:32):
He's mentioning him, right, right. But you know what it
is a lot of people on social media, because look, now,
what if a blog reports the story and the story
is that people on social media are seeing his name.
That's not a defamation suit, right, that's just reporting what's happening.
Or is that wind? Yeah? You have you have like
(46:54):
a newspapers that have gotten suited the pastor destination like
the New York Times for reporting all stuff. But this,
I think it's a little different because this is just
social media running wild with what they are speculating. And
he's not going to sue each and every person who
posts a thing like a blogger. I mean, there's it
would It would be ridiculous. It's not. It's not a
(47:14):
big that's not the deep pocket that he claims there is.
So Charlot Lee Ralph shouldn't have anything to worry about
legally because she didn't say his name. I don't think
so at all. I think I think, if anything, she
should be able to say what you know tells her truth.
And if she's not mentioning by him by name, that's
that's his guilty conscience coming out. And the way up
(47:34):
with angel Louye is not liable either. Right, Well, Angelia,
if you're on the hook for that, and then I
got your back, Uh, there's no way to vend you
and we'll we'll make sure that the clown lawyers that
are taking you on are not going to give it them.
All right, Well, we appreciate you so much, Adam, thanks
for joining us. All right, Well that was Adam arem Land.
You can look at him at law Bulldog. If you
(47:56):
need anything, he's here to help. Thank you so much.
You all right, so much. A great day you too.
All right, Well, when we come back, see how we
deferred to the experts when we want to make sure
that we know what's going on. I said, everybody on
social media acting like they was an attorney. I thought
I was attorney for a second, but then I realized
I wasn't. In window. She's like, how do you saying
in any window? All right, we do have Angela White
(48:18):
joining us aka A Black China when we come back
on way up with Angela Yee bringing the it's way
up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. And Jasmine from
the Jasmine brand is here. Yes, and we have another
special Angela in the building, not just me, Yes, Angela
White aka Black China. That's right. First of all, you
(48:39):
look amazing. Thank you, You were good. Yeah, thank you.
Than we've been following your journey that you've been really
open about. You know, you've gotten surgery to take out
like I guess you've had injections, yea, silicone injections okay,
and then where do you have silicon injections? Man, we're
in And then you got the fil has been moved
(49:00):
from your face. And let me tell you something, feelers
are very popular. Yes, yeah, I'm not knocking it, you
know what I mean. But just like right now, for me,
I went overboard. The lips were over like overly big,
like even when I was smile, you can't even couldn't
even see my teeth like that? What made you decide, okay,
this is too much. It wasn't like nothing that really happened. Okay,
(49:20):
it was just like, okay, I think it's just time
for this to come out. And then I started working
out and like changing my diet. Yes, so since I
like lost weight, everything had became extra protruded. I was
like more in the thicker side, yeah, or fluffy your side.
So now the makeup is you know, light makeup, toned
down and everything. So how does this affect other areas
(49:41):
of your life? Honestly, right now, when I posted it,
I didn't even think it was gonna be like as
big as it as it was pop. No, not at all.
People are curious about it because, first of all, a
lot of women have had things you know done, which
is fine if that's the decision that you make, but
like you said, you felt like you went overboard, and
(50:02):
that's not a thing that people are very honest about,
I feel like. And then the truth is that you
have to think about like the future sometimes exactly, and
then also to like with the acting, like everybody doesn't
look like a vixen with like perfect teeth, like actors.
Think about actress and actors, you know what I mean,
they have like their own characteristics of each you know, person,
(50:22):
and not even with that, I didn't want to be
locked into like, okay, only you can only play a vixen.
Right now, I want to do some karate and some
stunt doubles and it's some horror you know. Yes, it's
my favorite. Yes, so let's talk about more of you
executive producer, because you have executive produce shows as well. Yes,
(50:43):
would you want to do another show now about yourself
or do you feel like I'd rather step back from
that and concentrate on the acting. No, We're gonna do
all of it because the thing about it is everything
is surrounding me. So and by the way, I have
a cooking show coming out see I'm glad we're gonna
get back to back. We're gonna get back to that.
But so what were you saying? Everything is? Everything is
(51:04):
like within myself. So for example, so with the acting, right,
I did Secret Society too, so I was able to
land three of my songs on the soundtrack of Secret
Society too. So everything is going to come like full circle.
I want to have like input in different aspects of
everything that I'm doing. Does that make sense multiple? Yeah?
(51:26):
And it's control too, and control is important. Yeah. All right,
Now back to the cooking all right, so tell us
more about this cooking show and what's gonna be like
the premise of it. Are you gonna have gas on there? Yes,
it's already done, so I do have celebrity gas from there.
So it's really good and I feel like, um, she
one day you should come on there and do it season. Yes,
she likes food. I like Caribbean food if you can
(51:48):
make some Caribbean food, and I like time, so we
will make it together. So basically like we'll be making
like a three course meal together and they just basically
like talking like overwhilm making food. Also, you said you
open to are you going to do another reality show
or okay, I'm feeling it too. You're feeling that right now?
How is the show going to be different or the
same or what's the reality show going to be? Like?
How it's going to be different? I mean because honestly
(52:08):
I change And it's wild because when I first started
filming it, like I can even see my growth from
when we first started filming it to now. Okay, So
like when it's like your reality, it's your reality? Did
never like stop? Okay? I feel that, and you know
black time, I feel like people feel like they know
you personally. Do you like to be called Angela now
or back? Okay? Now, let's talk about money and happiness
(52:32):
because sometimes people think that money is like the key
to happiness, but it's not always. And you were making
a killing on Only Fans, but then you said, you
know what, I'm over it all right, So how how
is it to make that decision? Because honestly, like we've
had conversations about the amount of money you've made on
Only Fans. You had me ready to be like what
can I do to as you figure out what I had?
(52:55):
You can do? What's crazy? It's like you can do
anything you want on only f Yeah, it's just has
this category attached to it. You could be cooking on
only things. I try to tell people that too. It's
just content. But as far as like me deactivating it.
So I got baptized on my birthday. So I was
reborn on my birthday in twenty twenty two, and like,
in my mind and my body, my soul, I'm like,
I know that God is not what me doing this.
(53:18):
And I was like, I'm gonna take a leap on faith.
And I just was like, actually, I called my pastor. Okay.
I was like, Pastor, like, I'm done living like this,
you know, stay on the phone me. I'm about to
delete this. He's like, oh baby, I'm so proud of you.
I'm like, thank you. Bit shock. It's like CEC, God
got you bad baby. I'm like, okay, yeah, it's kind
of like a spiritual thing, right, that has something to
(53:40):
do with why you want to type change your body
and your faith from being baptized. That just came. It
just kind of came. Okay, So how is the surgery
Like when you had to get um the silicone injections
taken out? How painful was that? I was just super sore.
But mind you, I was under for eight and half hours.
Now that's a long time. That's a long time. Even
(54:03):
like um my nurse she kept asking me like hey,
like kept well when I got up, she was like,
I kept checking on you because he was under so long.
So what happened was the silicone it kept clogging up
the utensil that the doctor was using. So every time
it would clog it, like he would have to take
it unscrew like the machine, clean it out, sterilize it
and do all that stuff and then halving to like
(54:25):
shape it and work around it. And the material was
so hard. So he's like, you know, yeah, but you
know I didn't even have any Like I had a
little bit of bruising, like just a little bit sore.
Like I was like walking around the same day. Everybody's like, yo,
you need to lay down. That's crazy. Yeah, I'm like
absolutely not. It's siliconed illegal or is it legal? Illegal?
(54:46):
It's illegal, okay. Yeah. And if it can it can
also travel, and it could travel to your lungs and
if the person that's doing it doesn't know, like the
anatomy and it gets into your muscle, could get into
your bloodstream and could kill you like instantly. Yeah, we've
in all kinds of horror stories. Did you have discoloration?
Hardness pains? And sometimes like the worst cases is when
(55:08):
you have to take the whole complete rearing off gluteous
maximus because if you feel aid up, How do you
feel now about the shape of year? But do you
like it? Or are you still if you're working out?
It was like what it was? Okay, you're smiling, sessed,
you are obsessed, y'alla. Did you have any complications when
you did have like the silicone, like you were talking
about a lot of things that could happen. Did you
(55:29):
ever have any complications? So mind you. I got it
when I was nineteen. I got it when I was
in DC, and like sometimes I would say twice out
the year, maybe one time or twice out the year,
like it would get like really inflamed and it would
like swell a really bad. And when it would do that,
I would have to like take like a steroid. But
thank god I didn't have like crazy complications or like
(55:50):
discoloration or disfigurement, because you know how you see some
girls where it's like kind of disfigures. YEA and like
discolor or like the skin is really thin. Yeah, so yeah,
I got really blessed with that. And then as far
as the reduction goals, I'm loving thee Yeah, I feel
like I'm not to start running. You look amazing. I'm
(56:11):
not gonna lie like you really do. Thank you. It's
Black China joining us on Way Up with Angela. Ye,
we had more when we come back. No, I'm back.
What's up is Way Up with Angela Yee and Angela
White is here with me and Jazzmine Brain. If you
don't know who that is, that is Black China. And
so what's the goals now, like as far as TV
(56:32):
and film or there's some more roles lined up for you, yes,
anything you can talk about. Okay. So the Black Hampton's
got picked up, Okay I saw talking about Okay, So okay,
you're good. Okay, Yeah, No, I saw him because he
did family business and I love that car Web is
an amazing author and he has a Dela BT And
people were saying the show got canceled at first, I remember,
(56:54):
and then he was like that's lies. You know, people
were hating and say it, but it did get picked up.
It did get picked up, okay, because Karen's back. Karen's
back because we had did a four part mini series
just to see how it was, because it was a
brand new show, like based off of a book, and
it went it did really good. Yeah yeah, and then
I got so much support from it, from even me
posting it, like Nikki had posted it, Snoop did and
(57:18):
did he Oh No. I was like, it feels good,
like when you put in the work and then like
other people that you looked up to, look up to
or looked up to like support you. You know what
I mean. And it's like now here we are like
I'm sitting in the same room. Yeah, no, that's done
some positivity. Does Angela have any regrets? Any regrets? I
know people like to say, well, I'm right where I
(57:39):
need to be, so I don't or I wouldn't be here.
But if you could ever go back and be like,
maybe I shouldn't have done that, or I wish I
wouldn't have done this, do you have any of those?
I would say, maybe pay off that Dodge charger. No,
I'm just kidding because they will find your credit. No, say,
(58:01):
I've never had any like wild things towards though I
mean other than like unless it was with the actual
person like I never had, like I didn't never mess
up my credit or with a person like I'm gonna
tell you back that body. Okay, yeah, I mean like
I definitely have somebodies. This is moot body. Anything else
before this doesn't count, right, that's right. And then it
(58:24):
seems like you've got into a space of great co
parenting too with their dads. How long did it take
for you to get to that space? Because I know
that sometimes can be a journey, And what advice would
you give to people who might be in a situation
where they're trying to get there? Well, for me, the
courts help with Rob, sometimes you have to do that.
Sometimes in some cases you have to do it. So
like me and Tiger or Michael, we don't have anything
(58:47):
like that's in place, and it's just like respect the boundaries.
You know. With me and Rob, we had to like
go to court. What advice would you give people that
are like I just need to get to the space where,
oh my god, I just wanted to at least be
able to like see ours drop them off and get
along that way. I think that they should definitely like
hire an attorney, you know, just one, and it would
(59:09):
have to be not a regular one, but a family
law hire them and kind of sit down what it
is that y'all would want, like what works for each
each person's schedule, like holidays and things like that and
spring breaking, summer breaking, really kind of like break it down. Yeah,
sometimes it takes a third party, yeah yeah, yeah, And
then you want to in black and white too, right, right,
And then you don't want to hire two attorneys, so
(59:31):
then they're going back and forth with each other to
prolong the situation and you're paying, he's paying, and then
now it's not an agreement, so y'all paying more money
and you still got to continue to go to court
and quote a court. So it's like nobody's winning except
the attorney, except for an attorney. Are you open to
having more children? Yes, okay, I want to have two more.
(59:51):
I'm like, man ambout to be thirty five, steal a baby.
You got time if you're having kids at fifth? Are
you good? Okay? Okay, she said, Okay, I've done. But Angela,
I just want to thank you so much for coming
up here. Where are you? I gotta get one of these,
Angela hats too. I gotta at the mall, at the mall.
But now, honestly, you look great. You seem like you
are in great spirits. And we've been watching your journey
(01:00:12):
for so long and you just dropped a whole bunch
of like new things. You have come in the cooking show,
a new season of Blackhamptons. Yes, the reality show? Is
it anything we missed? Also? Yeah, the music, so I'm
working on some music right now. And also to gonna
be performing rolling out. Oh what yeah, that's the siting. Congratulations?
(01:00:34):
When is that? Thank you? April thirteenth through the fifteen.
Soon are you gonna stay for a little while in Thailand?
Since you're going out there, I am going to take
our flight actually to another place, okay, yes, to like noo,
to my hair factory because I have my hairline coming
out actually tomorrow. That's called it's called Heartspier. Congratulates seem
(01:00:57):
like another business okay, and it's wrong hair too, like
I'm cutting it. I have the videos like cutting it
from the donor like everything jammy textured hair texture meani
texture like not straight, like what kind of what kind
of heir is? Oh yeah? Body wave and um waterwave, Okay, Wave,
it's gonna be good. I'm excited. Well Angela okay, black Tanna.
Thank you so much for joining us and congratulations on everything.
(01:01:18):
It was like ten different things you have going on,
but we love it. You've always been an entrepreneur. Thank
you all right? Well with Angela Yee. And when we
come back, we have asked Ye eight hundred two nine
two fifty one fifty is a number. Call us up
with any of your questions. We are here to help
on Way up with Angela Yee. Everybody with its relationship
or career advice. Angela's dropping facts. What's up? Is way
(01:01:43):
up with Angela Yee. I'm here. Mayno is here yep
new Mayno Jasmine brand is here and Monday we are
doing ask ye eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
It is a number. Hello, who's this? My name is Michel. Okay,
I'll call it before YEA if I remember you. Hey,
miss Mitchell. Hey, I'm right now. You know. I'm a mom.
I'm an empty nester, but one of my sons have
(01:02:06):
moved back home. He's having he's twenty two. He has
some mental health challenges. He doesn't think he does, but
I know he does, you know, because I went through
some things on my own, but I you know, I overcome.
I went through therapy and all of that, did my words.
But he doesn't feel like anything is wrong. And right
now he's not doing anything in house. He's not helping.
(01:02:26):
Actually had to call crisis and he wasn't involuntary care
at the hospital and they felt like he should be
there and they released him. But he came back home.
He's not following up, he's not going to appointment, he's
not taking medication, and I pretty much knew that. But
I don't know what I can do because this is
(01:02:46):
my son. I would never put him out. I don't
want to go that direction because that's the easy round
for most people. But I'm not that type of person.
But I feel kind of like a prisoner in my
home in a sense, like I got a tiptoe around him.
I don't have time. I'm a very a certain woman,
but I don't have to. You know, I'm not gonna
argue with you. And you know, sometimes when I'm talking,
(01:03:08):
he says that when I love my voice, I'm manipulating him.
When I'm talking like this, I'm too you know, I'm
yelling at him, so it's like I cannot do anything.
You know what I'm saying. I want to love him,
you know what I'm saying, But I don't know what
else to do with the twenty twenty two year old man.
He's very more than capable. If he gets the help
that he needs, he would be productives. But he just
(01:03:31):
don't feel like he has. But he hasn't been out
of the house in two months. That was one of
the reasons why I had to call Prices, not out
the house or anything. Where's his father? Also, well, you
know he was where his father. He has a bad history,
in my opinion, with his father. His father was there,
but his father is kind of he doesn't believe in
(01:03:52):
mental health. He doesn't believe in any of that. He's
very traditional, he's very old school. His father and I
are totally different. You know what I'm saying. I told him,
you know, we can't. I don't want to hold my
head in a stand because it is it's hurtful to
see your son hurting and not helping himself. Don't Is
he is he depressed? Is he dealing with depression? He
(01:04:14):
is the press? He won't say he's depressed, you know,
but I don't see him laughing. He's not smiling. He's
really in his own isolated world. I don't think putting
him out as an answer. I don't think putting him
into I don't think putting him out into the street
as an answer. But I think that he absolutely, he
absolutely does need some some help and and and needs
somebody to talk to. He needs an outlet. Maybe maybe
(01:04:35):
there's things that he's been holding in the inside that
he has to, you know, um find an outlet to
let go. And I understand that. You know, what I'm
saying is that he does. He's been. This guy has
been resistant since he was a baby. Doesn't like doctor.
He's been He's like a militant. He is definitely resistant
(01:04:57):
to the system. He doesn't believe in a vaccine. He
doesn't believe the end of those things. You know what
I'm saying. When he knows that I got the vaccine,
he feels like I'm being brainwater because I got the laccine.
And you know, sometimes I sit in my house, I'm like, damn,
am I going crazy? It's just yet bad. And you
know the problem is if we don't want you to
not be able to operate at the best of your ability,
because this can be also hard on you. And while
(01:05:19):
you don't want to be selfish and feel that way,
because you're giving your all to trying to help your son,
you also need to make sure that you're good in
order to make sure that he's good. While I'm in thirpy,
I've been in thirty for a while, so I have
a little outlet, and my life is you know, I
told you I was working on my podcast or working
on different things, so I do have an outlet. Just
go back in the house and see my son suffer.
(01:05:41):
And you know, I had a conversation with him today
because I'm you know, I'm in school day, I'm not
don't have any money going out, you know what I'm
or coming in the house, can you help? Or I
don't even really want him to get a job. I'm like,
you know, maybe at some point people want to have
to get excess of something. I don't want him to
do that because I've just a month. You know, I
also kind of feel like you you might need some
outside help, right and so I want to make sure
(01:06:05):
that you get the resources that you need because you're
trying to cope with this on your own, and you
should never feel like you have to do that. And
so we have to figure out what organizations can be
helpful for you to get some outside help, because clearly
you want to make sure that he's good, but you
also don't want to do that at a disadvantage to yourself. Okay,
so hold on the line. I'm gonna link you with
(01:06:26):
doctor Jasper. He's a good friend to the show, and
he can help you find some resources that could be beneficial.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Thank you, guys, thank
you for sharing Michell, hold on, Miss Mitchell, thank you.
All right. Well that was ask ye. Sometimes things are
above us, you know, and I don't. I'm not a
(01:06:46):
mental health expert, and so I don't want to give
wrong advice ever, but we do have last word when
we come back. Eight hundred two ninety one fifty is
a number you can always call during the show, during
the weekend, whatever, and leave your last words. It's way

people paying to Bill. Clay was a great guy. He's
(01:07:30):
booked me for a few things. Yeah. I knew Clay
very well. He's like, honestly a great person. No, he was.
He was dope. He always talked to tell the story
about how he got me booked in Atlanta and how
you know. He was like, yo, listen, it's this guy
that you know, we're gonna have opened up for you
right now. I was like, it's so cool. He said,
this is a little kid, he's Usher's artists. We're gonna
have him open up for you. And it was like,
(01:07:50):
all right, cool. He went out there and he didn't
have no songs. He performed Usher's hits and the crowd
loved him. He was dancing. That was justin Bieber. Wow,
that's amazing. That's Bieber open for you. It was the
fact a story that's an amazing story. He just booked
