I don't know what you call what you used to tumble.
But she is the oldest gymnast to win the gold
medal in the all around competition and only the third
woman in history to win multiple golds in the event.
So congratulations to her. She's broken all kinds of records.
As a matter of fact, Beyonce has narrated her Olympics commercial, featuring,
of course, the Cowboy Carter tract.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Here is what that sounds like.
Speaker 8 (02:49):

you too. Such confidence in her strength, such beauty in
her power, such a great lesson in her story.

How tall is she? Four for eight?

She's really really sure, which I love. She's so cute all.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Right, bite sized?
Speaker 5 (03:16):

We come back, we have your et CARDI B. Yesterday
we talked about this as soon as she posted it.
We were able to discuss her actually revealing her pregnancy.
I will tell you what she had to say and
what offsets response was.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
It's way up, they say rooms.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
From industry, shade to all the gods out angelus feeling.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
That all right, his way up, I'm here, Mano's.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
Here, and by the way, Mano's been staying out the mix.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Not getting in trouble, you know, absolutely not.
Speaker 5 (05:32):
Well, let's talk about some new music, because we've been
playing a set Rocky's new song Hijack every hour.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
It's great. Did you like it?
Speaker 1 (05:38):
I didn't hear it yet, all.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Right, you're gonna hear it shortly.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
But people are saying he's taken some shots at Drake,
and Drake has definitely taken shots at asset Rocky, and you.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Really he did that and on family.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
Matters, and he's talked about Rihanna, right, you know as well,
and hey, it's a great time to go at Drake
because everyone is. And here is where acet Rocky had
to say on hijack because.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
She liked that.
Speaker 7 (06:02):
Yeah, fat thirty, I'm my wife, that pimp and Scottie
sipping get your wife back these nickles swum my wife back.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
The people want my next track? Well, you know, people
do want your wife.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Let's be clear reality.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
Yeah, so good one with that. But I will say
he had a listening party and from what I hear,
there's a lot of shots taking a Drake on the album.
He has an album coming out August thirtieth.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Oh really, I know that day.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
August thirtieth is called Don't be dumb, that's your birthday?
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Yeah, happy birthday? From where do you know that day?
Speaker 12 (06:39):
From?
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Right?
Speaker 8 (06:39):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (06:40):
All right?
Speaker 5 (06:40):
And speaking of relationships, Cardi b and I know we
did this at the end of the show yesterday because
she posted and we were able to talk about this
in last word, But she did post a picture herself
with her pregnant belly and said, with every ending comes
a new beginning. I'm so grateful to have shared this
season with you. You have brought me more love, more life,
and most of all, nude. My power reminded me that
(07:01):
I can have it all. You reminded me that I
never have to choose between life, love, and my passion.
I love you so much and cannot wait for you
to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you push
me to do. It's so much easier taking life's twist
turns and tests laying down. But you, your brother, and
your sister have shown me why it's worth it to
push through. So you know, every ending comes a new beginning.
So I guess the ending is the ending of her relationship,
(07:24):
but the new beginning is the beginning of the life
that's in her belly, so congratulations, and the Neighborhood Talk
posted oop off sets slap with divorce papers amid being
accused of cheating. This is something she wants to do.
Offset like that on the Neighborhood Talk. So I guess
that is solidifying that he did say that, as well
as saying.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
This shorty, hey about shorty s ain't shorty?
Speaker 13 (07:46):
Mm hm.
Speaker 5 (07:47):
Now, Cardi B, according to reports, is not going to
let this pregnancy delay her new album. They said that
she is more than three quarters of the way done
with the project. That's what sources have told TMZ. So
she does have some time to get it together. But
let's see what happens. Listen, take your time, Cardia. It's
not easy to have to deal with the pregnant, raising
(08:09):
two of the kids. She's been putting out singles, She's
been still doing work, so let's go. The album is
like another baby too, in your own way, it's your baby,
all right. Well that is your ute. Now when we
come back, we have about last night. That's where we
discussed what we did last night. I was actually at
the office for the NBA Foundation, and I'll talk about
(08:30):
the great work they were doing. The NBA Foundation was
celebrating four years. They're four years old and they made
a big announcement yesterday. And I also got a chance
to meet some of the people that are benefiting from
the NBA Foundation. So I'll tell you guys about it. It
might be helpful information for you because it's also Philanthropy
Month as well as Black Business Month. All right, it's
way up. About last night? Is next night?
Speaker 6 (08:53):
So about last night?
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Yes, I went down last night. It's way up. I'm here.
Mayo's here, ye Mayna, What did you do last night?
Speaker 1 (09:05):
I was working on some stuff with Kenya.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Okay, coach Kenya up here.
Speaker 8 (09:11):
I hear.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
She's always working.
Speaker 7 (09:12):
Always working. Yes, you shoot some stuff. Shout out to
doctor Pullman's sawry. Who's that doctor Pulman sawring?
Speaker 3 (09:20):
All right, what's that about?
Speaker 1 (09:21):
That's all.
Speaker 7 (09:24):
He does these scans. H You know, he got this
technology where you can find out, if you like, if
you have a hot chance of having a heart attack
or oh wow, if you got a hot chance of
having a stroke. He can find out in like five minutes.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
That's great information because let me tell you something. Heart
health is so important and something that is one of
the leading causes of death.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
And sickness.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
So okay, all right, quick, it's quick though.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
All right, Well, yesterday I was at the NBA Foundation office.
You know, it's Black Philanthropy Month. It's also Black Business Month,
and they do a lot of different things at the
NBA Foundation. They were celebrating their four year anniversary and
what they did. By the way, just so you know
what the NBA Foundation does. They definitely are in the
communities making sure that they give back in the community.
(10:10):
But they've given a way over one hundred and nineteen
million dollars to date in grants, and they've given those
grants to a total of two hundred and forty three
partners so far in all thirty NBA markets. They also
have their whole HBCU program, so they have fellows that
come in where students from HBCUs get a chance to
work their intern there for the summer.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
So I met one of the students, Trent is his name.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
But they actually announced yesterday and I was glad to
be there because I was moderating a panel as they
were discussing all the work that they've done. They announced
that they have thirteen point two million dollars being awarded
to forty seven nonprofit organizations. That is a huge deal
because one of the main things that nonprofits need in
our community is funding. Right, we all know that access
(10:55):
to capital is a huge problem, especially for black people,
especially for black women. We get the least amount of
money when it comes to capital and at least amount
of access to loans from bangs. And so they did
give away thirteen point two million dollars to nonprofit organizations
just yesterday. So they want to help further economic opportunity
(11:15):
for black youth in the NBA markets.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
I think that's a great thing.
Speaker 5 (11:20):
You know, the NBA is in all these different cities,
and you don't want to just be there getting money
and people come into the games. You also want to
make sure you're giving back to the community that you're in.
So shout out to the NBA Foundation, Shout out to Genisha,
who's the person that brought me in.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
Had a great time with you guys yesterday. So yes,
that's what I did yesterday. Woo whoop. All right, Well,
you know what to do on a Friday's that we're.
Speaker 5 (11:42):
Going to switch gears for a second, and you are
going to call us up and tell us a secret.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
Eight hundred oh is it that's that day?
Speaker 3 (11:49):

Why you close up? What a bottles? So tight?
Speaker 14 (11:55):

Speaker 3 (12:25):

Speaker 1 (12:27):

Speaker 3 (12:27):

Speaker 3 (12:31):
People are anonymous. How you feeling.
Speaker 1 (12:33):

talking about, what they say, I'm good. This is like
no no judgment. I'm not gonna judge you no matter.
You know, it's all good.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Judge not lest ye be judged.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Look, and I'm nobody to judge anybody because I got
my own secrets.
Speaker 3 (12:52):

Speaker 5 (12:55):
Absolutely, eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty is

Speaker 1 (13:08):
How are you doing? Thank you for telling me that
you love me? And no she said that about me?
All right, thank you. I appreciate though not the problem.
Speaker 11 (13:18):
So my my sons and I we like have the
biggest part.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
We like taking the animals, like in the neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (13:25):
We see them.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Okay, So one particular cat I called him because he
had blue eyes.
Speaker 10 (13:31):
I accidentally over him and I killed him.
Speaker 3 (13:35):

did something.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
No, I let I let the dog out and you
got hit by car.
Speaker 5 (13:45):
That's awful. Well, I'm sorry to hear that. I know
that hurts your heart. All right, thank you for calling.
What's up, Anonymous color? You want to tell me a
mano a secret?
Speaker 11 (13:54):
Just last week I ended up flipping with both of
my brother wine.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
What why would you do that though? Your brothers though?
Speaker 3 (14:00):
And what a busy week?
Speaker 11 (14:02):
I know because I got I got a best friend
and she cool with both of them, and we end
up meeting at a hotel. I didn't know what was
going down, but it went down.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
But did you know that they were your brother's wives?
Speaker 3 (14:15):
There's brothers?
Speaker 11 (14:16):
Yeah so?
Speaker 7 (14:17):
But w so you call up here right now you're
thinking that that sounded cool, like you slept with your brothers.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
No, they thought they sounded like something. So you slept
with your brother's wives.
Speaker 7 (14:25):
You have no type of loyalty, no principals, no, no,
no morals when it comes to loyalty to your brothers.
Speaker 11 (14:30):
Right, Hey, I love my brother No, you don't know.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
You don't you slept with your brother's wives though, let
me sound crazy.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
I had a couple of questions, do they get down
like this normally?
Speaker 7 (14:41):
I don't know what they're doing in the regular for
your for the sake of your brothers. You didn't say yourself, now,
I wouldn't do that. This is my brother's wives.
Speaker 11 (14:47):
I did it because it's my brothers. And then when
I went and you sound.
Speaker 15 (14:54):
Like you sound.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
I'm judging.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
I don't care.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
I don't care nothing about.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
You said your best friend called and said crazy and
set it up. So your best friend was involved in
this too.
Speaker 11 (15:06):
Yeah, so yeah, it was like an orgy basically.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
Yeah, you think, are you going to tell your brothers
that you think your brother's already known?
Speaker 7 (15:14):
Of course, I'm gonna tell them, like out of all
the women on this earth, that you just had to
lay down in the bed with your brother's wives.
Speaker 9 (15:21):
You sound friends if they willing to do that, and
then what else they gonna do behind?
Speaker 5 (15:26):
All right, Well listen, there goes the no judgment. But
thank you for prayer giving us that secret that you
are gonna tell.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
All right, Well that was tell us a secret, sound stupid?
Speaker 5 (15:35):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is a
number in case you couldn't get through, you could still
leave a message and well, listen to your secret on
last word, and when we come back, we have your
eet All right, Well, you know what, when we come back,
let's talk about this Britney Spears biopic. I think there's
gonna be a lot of secrets told, and that that
is one that I would definitely want to see regardless.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
Of one or not your Britney Spears man. Yeah, all right,
it's way up, yo, about to blow.
Speaker 6 (15:59):
The lead aboff this spot. Let's get it, oh, angelus feeling.
Speaker 9 (16:02):
That yea tea?
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Come and get the tea. It's way up. I'm here
manos in the building.
Speaker 5 (16:07):
Yes, yeah, let's get into the yet as you're drinking tea,
Yes you're ye tea?
Speaker 3 (16:12):
All right.
Speaker 5 (16:12):
Well, Britney Spears posted excited to share with my fans
that I've been working on a secret project with Mark Platt.
He's always made my favorite movies stay tuned. So Universal
Pictures has landed the rights to her best selling memoir,
The Woman in Me.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
That's going to be exciting, did you you know what?
Speaker 5 (16:29):
I haven't even read the book, but now I feel
like I need to read her book, and I'm excited
to also see what that movie is going to be like.
So yes, the memoir came out last October. It's sold
over two point five million copies in the US alone,
by the way, so congratulations, Sorry for that. All right, now,
Little YACHTI is leaving the Internet, he claims because he
(16:51):
got some backlash for these comments about fashion in Atlanta
and New York.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
City. Here's what he said, Originally, all the trends come from.
Speaker 14 (16:58):
First off, I loved you, I got namn but love
New York. I think a lot of the flies people
in the world were born in New York, but as
of lately Atlanta.
Speaker 3 (17:09):
He got a lot of backlash for those comments.
Speaker 5 (17:12):
Now he is younger though, and he did say it
used to be New York and now he feels like
the trends are in Atlanta.
Speaker 7 (17:20):
So he basically trying to say that the trends that
are going on now, he feels like started.
Speaker 5 (17:25):
In Atlanta, right right, And there's certain trends that I
will say did start in Atlanta.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
You know, I'm not connect So he.
Speaker 7 (17:33):
Wasn't talking about so when I first when I first
saw it the way the way, it looked like he
was just talking about as a whole, and I was like, Nah,
maybe he's just too young to understand that. You know
that the dope stylists that were from New York went
to the South and started styling those rappers, you know,
like the g Z's and the T I's and all
those all those guys got styled by New York stylists
(17:55):
when they started. When the South started popping. They had
New York stylists.
Speaker 5 (17:58):
I think New York gets a lot of the friends
first too, because of the shopping experience here. What's available
to us right, just the fashion capital w Yeah, we
have the whole entire fashion garden district.
Speaker 7 (18:09):
So now that the internet is here, everything is accessive
where everybody kind of looks similar, you understand, so hard
And we.
Speaker 5 (18:15):
Shop online right, people don't have to physically go in
a store to buy things now. Little Yachty then did
go online and say that he is planning.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
To delete the apps.
Speaker 5 (18:24):
And by the way, he's done a couple of interviews
and I guess certain things he's gotten backlash for saying.
He's talked about, you know, the Drake and Kendrick Beef
and I we shouldn't have wait in and leaked to
song and you know all of that.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
So here's what he's saying. Now, I'm not doing no
more talking.
Speaker 14 (18:39):
I'm gone off this in it and I think I'm
gone for the rest of the year. Contracted to do
this pod gay unfortunately, but I ain't posting no more.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
He's tired of I feel him. I like YACHTI though,
I feel him.
Speaker 5 (18:52):
All right now KICKI Palmer went on Instagram to get
advice on how to deal with something that happened to
her son. Now, you know, her son is what two
years old right now, and she said, I have no idea,
you know, what's in my hair ignored because mom life. Also,
I'm so torn up about this, guys, I'm a new mommy.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
How do we deal?
Speaker 5 (19:11):
And the question that she has is about him meeting
this little friend, right, and everything seemed to be going
well and then all of a sudden, the little boy
sticks his arms out and pushes my son onto the ground.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
They're two year olds, though, and kids do stuff like that.
Speaker 5 (19:28):
May't do that there, little kids?
Speaker 1 (19:34):
I got the fight.
Speaker 5 (19:35):
She said she wished she could have handled the situation
because then her and her son, you know, she said,
she picked her son up, hugged him and told them
everything was going to be okay, and did everything she
could not to send all of her energy over into
the other direction.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
But how do you deal with that? You know what's funny.
Speaker 5 (19:51):
I remember babysitting my friend's son one time. He's four
years old and had he needed an escort for the
school trip. What I didn't know was that he was
so bad that he was the only one that needed
an escort. And so they were on the playground and
he pushed a kid in front of him into the
balls like they were waiting to jump into the into
the pit with the balls, and everybody was like, whose
kid is this?
Speaker 3 (20:11):
And I just turned around because it's not my kid.
Speaker 5 (20:14):
Technically, well, anyway, that is your Yet when we come back,
we have under the radar. These are the stories that
are not necessarily in the headlines. They're flying under the radar.
And since you're talking about fashion, let's talk about Ermez,
and let's talk about the air for Ermez. Thirteen billion
dollar fortune gone. All right, we'll discuss it. It's way
up under the radar.
Speaker 6 (20:34):
It's in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
All right, it's way up.
Speaker 5 (20:40):
I'm here, maino's here, No mana man, let's do this
under the radar story. So you know, everybody's always talking
about burking bags, burking bags that's owned by Ermez. Well,
the air to the fortune for Ermez. His fortune has
seemingly vanished.
Speaker 9 (20:55):
Now.
Speaker 5 (20:56):
Nicholas Pooch, he's eighty one years old, he's the largest
individual shareholder of that fashion house thirteen billion dollars.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Right, apparently they don't know where that money is.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Where was it?
Speaker 5 (21:08):
So what happened was he gave his wealth manager, Eric Freeman,
gave him the control of his finances. That was his
financial advisor, and his financial advisor mismanaged his wealth.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
But they said there's no.
Speaker 5 (21:23):
Evidence of that because he gave him all of the
control to be able to control that thirteen billion dollar fortune.
Now in court, they ruled that the blind trust in Freeman,
who are complete control of his bank account, does not
indicate that the wealth manager duped his client.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
So they said he willingly turned over management of his wealth.
Can you believe that?
Speaker 5 (21:43):
So now Poucha has been trying to sue since October
of twenty twenty one.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
You don't have no money.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
But yeah, he lost that whole fortune.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
So that's so what happens with the brand?
Speaker 5 (21:54):
I mean it still exists, it's still there. He's just
not getting any of the money from it. Man, you know,
so we don't know what's happening. They also said that
he vowed to award a lot of his fortunes to
his gardener, So I don't know what happened with that.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
But you know, he doesn't have any kids. He's a
recluse living in Switzerland.
Speaker 5 (22:13):
He did hire a legal team to formalize the gardener's
adoption and revise his estate arrangements to give that money
to his garden.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Hey, I don't know what's going to happen with that
fortune next.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Him.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
Okay, we don't know that else, all right now.
Speaker 5 (22:31):
There were fourteen arrests made and a sex trafficking sting,
and this was at the San Diego Comic Con. So
fourteen people were arrested and ten individuals were recovered as
part of a human trafficking sting. This was, like I said,
at Comic Con in San Diego over the weekend. It
was a three day joint operation. Law enforcement officials post
as sex buyers to identify potential victims and traffickers. And
(22:54):
they were also online ads soliciting sex that were posted
That led to nine adult victims and a sixteen year
old being recovered.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
Yeah, so just something to think about. I mean, it's
a huge thing.
Speaker 5 (23:06):
And that's why sometimes when you're in the airport you
see the signs like if you see something, are you here?
Speaker 3 (23:10):
Announcements about trafficking. If anything looks strange to.
Speaker 9 (23:14):
You, I'm not.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
I have fantasies of being a hero at that.
Speaker 7 (23:16):
At times like that, like being at the airport and
seeing somebody doing something crazy, like I have fantasies of
like saving the plane or like you know, somebody saving
the plane, saving the plane, and like if somebody's like
trafficking like a kid or something like that, fantasy absolutely, absolutely,
absolutely okay, Like if they came out and pulled out
(23:37):
like these these plastic folks and knobs, like, I'm.
Speaker 5 (23:39):
Like, if they try to take over the plane, You're
gonna be the one that jumps up absolutely or make
eye contact with the other passengers, you.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
Know, Yeah, yeah, go, I have that fantasy.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
I'm just all right, yeah, I'll let one of your
girls know to set it up.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
All right.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Well, that is you're under the radar now.
Speaker 12 (23:56):
You know.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
Flage is going to be joining us today. She has
her project out right now, best of both worlds. But
of course you know her as amazing, stand out LSU
college basketball player who's definitely going to the NWNBA.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
And we got the Way Up Mix at the top
of the hour on a Friday. It's Way Up way up.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
It's like the tout like they Angel Jean, like they
a jeal Jean man.
Speaker 6 (24:18):
She's spilling it all.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
This is yat way up.
Speaker 5 (24:23):
All right, it's way up on Angela. Yee my guy,
Meno's here. Yeah, all right, let's get into some ut.
Kendrick Lamar Not Like Us is the top selling song
in the US for twenty twenty four.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
Are we surprised?
Speaker 1 (24:36):
No, not at all. I can see that, all.
Speaker 5 (24:38):
Right, So just two months after it was officially released,
according to chart data, it's got the most UH sales, streams,
all of that, and it's gotten just the original video
one hundred and thirty five million views.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
What do you mean original video?
Speaker 3 (24:53):
The original video online is.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
There's another video? I think, what are you talking about?
Like just the Yeah song itself?
Speaker 5 (24:59):
And then I think when he did the official video
that was like eighty six million or something like that.
So you know, not bad, He's not like us, all right.
Justin Timberlake, apparently he has gotten his license suspended, and
that is all because of that duy that happened. He
appeared virtually he's in Belgium for court and he had
his driving privileges suspended. The judge said, because he turned
(25:22):
down a breathalyzer test when they pulled him over. So
it's unclear how long this is going to remain in place,
but that's standard procedure. You know, according to the law
in New York, if you refuse a breathalyzer, they suspend
your driver's license for.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
Up to a year.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
I never knew that. I never took a breathalyza ever.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Well that's good news.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
I've never even been in that situation.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
That is amazing news. And we're very happy.
Speaker 5 (25:46):
Yeah, and you would have just had and you know
where for some people they're like, I'd rather just you know,
instead of taking that risk.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
I'll let you guys, suspended my life, suspend my license.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
Right all right now, Lynn, Manuel Miranda and Lisa Davis
are going to be reimagining The Warriors, that very classic
New York City cult film as a concept album. It's
a twenty six song album that's coming out October eighteenth
with a star studded cast of Voicecails.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
They did Warriors over again.
Speaker 5 (26:15):
It's a concept album, so based on The Warriors. So
the album is also executive produced by nas just the FYI.
So we don't know all of the details yet because
it's not coming out until October eighteenth, but it's a
concept album that is inspired by that, and you know,
le Manuel Miranda is the one who did Hamilton, of course,
so I'm sure that's going to be exciting for people
(26:37):
to see. All right, now there's more information since we
know that Carti has filed for divorce from Offset for
the second time, and people are saying this is definite
this time.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
Last time she went.
Speaker 5 (26:47):
Back, but this time she actually is expecting, you know,
her third child with Offset, and she wants to make
sure that he pays child support. That is according to
the paperwork. It doesn't mention a but that doesn't mean
they don't have one. It's just not mentioned in the paperwork,
according to TMZ. So you know, people think of child
(27:08):
support is such a terrible, awful thing.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
Maybe it's not.
Speaker 5 (27:11):
Maybe it's just the way to make sure that we
don't have to communicate about money, and we have a
set amount that you know you're paying and that I
know you're paying. She also wants their properties that they've
acquired during their marriage to be divided up equitably. So
everything they've gotten since they've been married, let's divide that happening. Hell,
yes it is that shorty ain't his shorty much?
Speaker 1 (27:33):
All right?
Speaker 3 (27:33):
Well that is your ut when we come back into Friday.
Speaker 5 (27:35):
So there's some new music out today, and you know
we got that for you. But why would you put
single ladies on now?
Speaker 3 (27:41):
All right? Well you know single ladies?
Speaker 6 (27:44):
Hey with it's relationship for career advice. Angela's dropping facts.
This is as key.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
What's up his way up at Angela?
Speaker 5 (27:52):
Yee, I'm here, my award winning advice giving friend may
know it's here.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
And we got tim on the line, Hey.
Speaker 10 (27:58):
Timing, I'm good.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Me and man were ready for your questions so we
can give you some great advice.
Speaker 13 (28:05):
Oh yeah, So I just woke up with my girl
once so long ago about well, she broke up with
me about three or four days ago, and she said
the last two weeks she wasn't really feeling the relationship. Wow,
she was shut off for location, and like I would
ask her sister and like her boyfriend does you know
if they know where she is?
Speaker 10 (28:24):
So she got a little she got a little upset
that I would ask them and not ask her. So
what should I do? You think I should just let
her be and h see your fun will help.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
So what happened in these past couple of weeks, Like
what changed?
Speaker 12 (28:37):
I guess I was being a little bit like too
obsessive a girl like I would always ask her, Hey,
when can I see you? And then like and that's
how I guess I kind of got a little bit
like obsessive and she didn't really like that.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
That's understandable.
Speaker 7 (28:49):
So listen, if she want to break up with you, man, listen,
I'm gonna say you like this, man, you just gotta
let it be what it is.
Speaker 1 (28:54):
You understand. You can't be into wanting somebody that don't
want you.
Speaker 7 (28:58):
Go to the strip club, you know, spend about a
month there, nat and get reacquainted.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
With the streets.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
That's even more depressing, and you.
Speaker 7 (29:07):
May find something even better, you feel men.
Speaker 3 (29:10):
Take that advice to him. It's the only reason that
she felt like you were being too obsessive. But that
is that all that it is. In these past couple
of weeks, I mean, I wasn't being too for.
Speaker 12 (29:21):
A few things, but like I was flexing more, a
little bit more money than like I was opposed to,
like telling her I make a little bit more than
what I do.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
So you catfish.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
How long were you guys together?
Speaker 1 (29:31):
You a catfish?
Speaker 10 (29:33):
I'd say maybe four or five months or so.
Speaker 3 (29:37):
But Tim, I'm gonna tell you this. You know, doing
things like that like flossing stuff.
Speaker 5 (29:41):
And not being honest, especially in the beginning of a relationship,
and the being obsessive, those were all red flags to her.
But also lying like that in the beginning it makes
a woman feel like you were insecure for some reason,
because if that is somebody who you really care about
and who cares about you, that shouldn't be something that
you have to tend.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
You gotta just throw the whole relationship away. She don't
want you.
Speaker 5 (30:03):
And the advice that I will give you is this,
if she was upset about how obsessive, yeah, that you
were being, and that was an initiate.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
You can't be obsessive now. You can't be overdoing it.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Can be acting like you got it when you don't
really have it.
Speaker 10 (30:16):
Though.
Speaker 5 (30:16):
The only thing you can do is admit what you
did wrong to her, express the regret that you have,
let her know you definitely still want to try to
work things out, but you understand her position and give
her the space that she needs, because she needs to
see you work on yourself. You have to ask yourself
why you did the things that you did and figure
(30:37):
out what you need to do for you because you
can't come into a relationship and not be who you
truly are and think it's gonna work.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
Don't get mad when you see it with the next man,
I get it.
Speaker 12 (30:46):
Listen, time will tell like I told like after we
broke up, I apologize. I told her listen, sorry for everything.
It was just you know, I guess I was in
secure about a few things, and you just said, you
just gotta give me some time.
Speaker 10 (30:59):
I don't know what.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
Means or that means give her some time. Yes, it
does an.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
Easy way of letting them know that I don't want you.
Speaker 5 (31:07):
I mean, she likes something about you. If you can
get it back to that, then that's all good.
Speaker 3 (31:14):
If you can.
Speaker 10 (31:15):
It's like this is like the.
Speaker 12 (31:17):
First not my first girl, but this like the first.
Speaker 10 (31:19):
Girl left I brought over to mouse remember my parents.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
He was moving too fast though, bro, But you know
it's all good.
Speaker 9 (31:26):
Man.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Listen, stay up, hit the strip club. It's love and
you know, stay strong.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
Bro, don't hit no ship.
Speaker 5 (31:34):
Take some time and work on yourself, and you know
what people want to see. They want to see that
you really have put the work in and changed and
you got to do that for you. That's not even
for her, that's for you.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
All right, good luck than you.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
Listen, No, she don't want him, but going.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
To the ship, that's makes you more depressed.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
It just helped you.
Speaker 7 (31:53):
Trust me, you really don't have to fta. You gotta
hit rock bottom and brought up. You gotta how she
appreciate coming back up.
Speaker 5 (32:02):
All right, all right, we're gonna take your award away,
take back your key to the advice. All right. Well,
when we come back, we have Flage joining us. She
deserves all the awards. Best of both worlds. That's her project.
That's out right now. Y'all know she's a basketball player
but also a rapper, okay, and we love to see
it because she is excelling at both.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
We'll talk about it as way up.
Speaker 9 (32:23):
You don't want to know my name?
Speaker 1 (32:25):
Way up with turn me on.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
What's up?
Speaker 5 (32:29):
Its way up at Angela yee. And this is exciting
because Flage is here.
Speaker 15 (32:33):
Yep, yup.
Speaker 3 (32:34):
I've been wondering when am I gonna have a chance
to sit down and talk to you.
Speaker 15 (32:37):
Know, this is great, this is whull circle.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
Yeah, I'm excited.
Speaker 5 (32:40):
I was at BT Awards when your project came out,
Best of Both Worlds, and I was like, let me
pop this on and see what she's talking about and
very impressive.
Speaker 15 (32:48):
Thank you, thank you so much. Let mean a lot
coming from you.
Speaker 5 (32:50):
So congratulations on that. And to be clear, like you've
been doing this since you were a kid.
Speaker 15 (32:55):
Yes, absolutely, a.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
Lot of people still know me from the Rap Game,
but I did that when I was twelve, thirty team,
then America's got talent, and then you know the basketball thing.
Speaker 15 (33:03):
So I've been doing it for a while.
Speaker 3 (33:04):
Do you ever go back and watch the Rap Game episode?
Speaker 15 (33:07):
I don't like watching myself. I feel like it's the
most cringiest thing ever. The only thing I have watched
was the performance.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
Oh now that was fire, So I saw that too.
Speaker 5 (33:16):
Yeah, and I saw Wayne in the little Wayne in
the audience and he's on the album right right, you know,
that is an amazing moment. And to see how you
was out there, like, first of all, you seem so
comfortable on stage, and you got to credit that to
all the work you did when you were younger.
Speaker 15 (33:29):
Facts, man, it's been a long Top been performance since
I was seven years old.
Speaker 5 (33:32):
People are definitely talking about your line in the freestyle
four am in Miami and you're talking about it would
be ten million for you to join the portal.
Speaker 3 (33:41):
Yeah, I know you see all the people talking about that.
Speaker 15 (33:45):
I'm don know what's side of the room and look
over your shoulder.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
Don't think of it.
Speaker 15 (33:47):
So I told him to come. I'm not trying to
move if I know it.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
So just the way that I got to maneuver.
Speaker 12 (33:51):
I'm not trying to choose.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
I don't keep in the corner.
Speaker 10 (33:53):
They loveing.
Speaker 15 (33:54):
No, whey, that don't bother you give me to mil
the portal. Yeah, no, No, that was just a cool line.
I love lsu I I intend to go nowhere.
Speaker 3 (34:01):
But it was just a million anybody prot of you,
you know, a ten million.
Speaker 15 (34:05):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
I'd be like, what's so lsu? Y'all gotta go with
the lim you know what I'm saying. But no, that
was just a say line I was gonna put in there.
Speaker 15 (34:13):
When I put it in there, I was like should
I say that? I was like, I don't want both
to get mad. And then coach Mokey's seeing it online
or something.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
Like that, and they're like, what Flashy got going on?
Speaker 3 (34:23):
I'm just wrapping.
Speaker 5 (34:23):
I promise it's a Friday. It's the best of both worlds.
That is the name of a Falage's project. She's here
with me right now. That's the both the worlds. I
love the artwork on the cover because you say the
microphone on webside, yeah, you see the basketball on the
other side. And I know at times people feel like
there's so much dedication to each one of those things
that they'll try to make you feel like you gotta choose.
(34:45):
But I know when you went to go to LSU,
they took you to the studio. Yeah, they took me
to we Got your girl.
Speaker 15 (34:50):
Oh my offic will vision.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
My whole recruiting process is kind of weird because as
soon as coaches would be like, well, so which one
you want to do? You want to play basketball, you
want to wrap, I just hang up because I know
you ain't to school for me, Like you know what
I'm saying, I don't't even time. So when they took
me to the studio, it was like, yeah, they get it.
Speaker 15 (35:04):
You know what I'm saying. Coach Mokey get it. You
know what I'm saying. Then I say, I was like,
this is an old white lady, like you know what
I'm saying. I'm a rapper, like you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (35:09):
Like bro, and she giving me She's like, I know,
my old whitelad, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 15 (35:13):
And she gives me the support like you know what
I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
So that was dope.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
That was very slick of her. That was very smart.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
She know what she was doing.
Speaker 15 (35:19):
But Coach MOKEI loved music too, though. She don't be
like rap music.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
She like all that country stuff and all of that
the old country. So you know, she really understands where
I'm coming from as far as that.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
In the locker room, do y'all be free styling like
any of the other players.
Speaker 15 (35:32):
I'll be freestyling. I'll be trolling them real bad, like
got a wrap.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
I was dissing them on the bus. I remember one
time I'll be dising Coach Moke. I'll be dissing the
old team.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
No, they know it is.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
She must really like you, no love me.
Speaker 15 (35:47):
She called me a who whatever that means.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Yeah, all right, Flage is here.
Speaker 5 (35:54):
You know her for playing on the LSU women's team,
but you also know her as an artist performing at
the sb's as to both worlds is out right now
we have more with her when we come back.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
It's way up.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
It's way up with Angela.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Let's girl. You are a media maven, right, you never
know what AND's gonna say. What's up?
Speaker 5 (36:11):
Way up at Angela? Yee, I'm here, Flage is here
with me. What did you think about with the Olympics.
You know, people, it was so much controversy over Kitlyn
Clark and injuries not playing in the Olympics.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
What were your personal thoughts about that?
Speaker 2 (36:23):
I know, like the behind like all the camps and
stuff that the people got to go to the trials
and all the stuff, and they've been doing that for
a long time, so it's kind of like they already
kind of had the team basically together and practicing and
you know how that go. But I think like they
could play on that team right now, Like you know
what I'm saying, with the talent that they got. They
obviously one of two of the top players in the league,
(36:43):
you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 15 (36:44):
So I think they definitely could have played.
Speaker 2 (36:46):
But oh, we're still gonna get their goal, Like you
know what I'm saying, We're still dominating, so it's all good.
Speaker 5 (36:50):
And thinking about how you came out playing, right, you
played with the guys first, with the boys and an
aau and everything. How do you think that has affected
your styling? Who did you want when you were like,
let me fashion my game after this person.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
Yeah, it kind of just gave me that dog mentality
because when you play with the guys, you already like
because none are Doug Yeah, no kidding, because you know,
you just gotta have that mentality like you're an underdog already,
like you know what I'm saying. And my coach Maurice,
they never gave me no girl past. So like every
hit that ones got, I got it everything. It was everything,
(37:25):
Like I always got that treatment like you gonna come
out here with us, You're gonna play with us. And
I think that just kind of made me strong and
just gave me that dog mentality, Like, just gave me
that vibe.
Speaker 5 (37:34):
It's a Friday, It's the best of both worlds. That
is the name of Afflage's project. She's here with me
right now. And little Wayne because obviously he's a huge fan. Man,
let's talk both ways and he posted you he called
you to go right. How did that feel because you're
in Louisiana too bright?
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Like, first of all, Lil Wayne is not doing songs
with folks like you know, this is Lil Wayne, Like
this is him, Like one of the greatest all time.
Speaker 15 (37:58):
You're gonna go down?
Speaker 10 (37:59):
Is that?
Speaker 15 (38:00):
And you know, to have that stemp from him, it
was insane, Like to have the feature for him took
my breath. To get the video from him.
Speaker 9 (38:08):
Was like crazy.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
But to actually see that he knew my song, like
knew my lyrics. Like we was at the video shoot.
He was really chopping it up and he was like,
you know whatever you need. Came to support me at
the s p's watched me perform. He left Like you
know what I'm saying. He really just is stick in
his hand and I just appreciate him.
Speaker 3 (38:23):
Bro, that is so dope. That's amazing.
Speaker 9 (38:25):
Man.
Speaker 15 (38:26):
He blessed me with a crazy verse. It's a top
ten way verse.
Speaker 14 (38:29):
Man.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
Did he give you any advice or like what type
of conversations did y'all have?
Speaker 9 (38:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (38:33):
I asked him. I was like, what's the best advice
you could give me?
Speaker 2 (38:35):
He just told me like you're gonna get pulled a
lot of different ways, but you just have to remain yourself.
Speaker 5 (38:39):
And I love you talking about being financially responsible because
you aren't getting to be clear, everybody listening millions of
dollars already right now at a young age though, and
that's the time when people could blow it.
Speaker 9 (38:49):
Yeah, you know.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
So the fact that you're investing and you said you
bought acre is what do you plan to do with that?
Speaker 14 (38:53):
Man?
Speaker 2 (38:53):
I'm about to build. I want to build a complex
on it. And I've been getting into apartments and I
don't I don't like Airbnb's. But I really just been
investing to myself. Like I have a record label. I'm
on my own record lib. I have a distribution deal
with Rock Nations, okay, but I still run my own
label and you know, they just distributed, so, you know,
just putting resources back into the things that I keep
(39:15):
going up. I think it's just important for me to
just continue building my portfolio and my knowledge in business.
Speaker 15 (39:21):
So that you know, you know, but byby moving and
shaking with the right people.
Speaker 10 (39:25):
Though.
Speaker 3 (39:25):
All right, So the project Best of Both Worlds is
out now. It's an EP. You also have NL Chappel
