that celebrates a history for her. She solidified her legacy

Speaker 7 (02:22):
I'd like to shine a light on my mom.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
Sherry, Okay, Sheery tell us about her.
Speaker 8 (02:27):
She is one of the bravest, nurturing, caring, considerate women
I know.
Speaker 7 (02:33):
And she gives tough love and it's the best love.
It makes us stronger.
Speaker 8 (02:37):
So I wanted to shine a light on her.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
I like soft love, but tough love is necessary.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
You're right, it is.
Speaker 7 (02:43):
Sometimes you're right.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
Sometimes I just need a hug.
Speaker 9 (02:49):
And she gives the best hug too.

You're welcome.
Speaker 6 (02:56):
Have a good one.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
That was shine a light eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty in case you couldn't get through, Carla,
and leave a message in China. Light And when we
come back, so much eaty to catch up on. But
let's keep it current. It looks like remy mind easy,
the Black Captain are still going strong. We have a
video of basically her declaring that she loves him. We'll
talk about it. It's way up.
Speaker 5 (03:17):
It says in the rooms from industry shade to all
the gods and out Angela's speeling that.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Angela Ye I'm here, yeah, mano, so mano. As you
get into the CT, have you ever done any battle rap?
I'm just curious.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
No, never, not a battle rapper?
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Yeah, because has anybody ever tried to rope you into that?
Because that is.
Speaker 12 (03:39):
As a whole genre right then? And I respect those
guys because they're really.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Good at it.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
All right, Well, Remy mad definitely loves Easy the Black Captain.
Recently there was a cipher and of course Live Bite
always gets all the dirt, and he was having.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Some things to say.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
It looks like he took some shots at Pappoos and
also had Remy declare her love for him.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
Here's what happened all.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
That alphabetical floors. But what happens when she stopped that?
Speaker 10 (04:04):
Eg god, I'm only going dressed one time. She'll want
to be on the front launch and y don't you
rum me right there?
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Okay, she loves them?
Speaker 3 (04:22):
I mean, is this but all the drama that's going on,
because first of all, people are definitely taking shots at
their relationship in battle rap as that's going to happen,
that's part of the So I guess what you do
is you get ahead of it and do that right
and address it all right. Well, speaking of love, Zendaya
may have just solidified her and Tom Holland's love for
(04:43):
each other in and she got her first tattoo. She
has a tiny tea tattoo. She also looks like she
has on an engagement ring.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
By the way.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
She was on the red carpet at the Golden Globes
and people are speculating that on her left hand ring
finger at the ceremony was a huge rock, So it
feels like maybe that's what's going on.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
They've been linked since twenty twenty one.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
They worked together on twenty seventeen Spider Man Homecoming and
twenty twenty one Spider Man No Way Home.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
Love is in the air guy, Yes.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
It started on set right. They love it would appair right.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
They've had, you know, interactions with each other all right. Now,
another story, Craig and Megan the Stallion. You know, there
were rumors that the two of them were dating, and
it looks like now they definitely are. She hasn't said
anything about any of these things, but you know, once
it was kind of put out there, they were picked
it together.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
They're on Instagram together.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
People are coming out and now acting like maybe there
was a relationship that Tory Craig had with another woman,
Jasmine Elizabeth. All Right, Jasmine Elizabeth went ahead and posted
alleged conversations between the two of them corny.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
And he seems to be alleging that she.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
Did these greens and doctored them somehow, and he posted
an online tutorial of how to photoshop a DM exchange.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
I wouldn't even address that, so that was his.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
And then she also shared alleged payment receipts from well
she blocked out some of the amounts, so come on.
It was like it was also something about.
Speaker 12 (06:17):
You, if you're looking for fault, you're gonna find fault. Like,
I'm pretty like this is Instagram. I'm pretty sure everybody
didn't been in somebody dms.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure I asked you about
batter rep.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Have you ever been in anyone's dms?
Speaker 3 (06:29):
All right, well, that is your Yet when we come back,
we have about last night where we discussed what we
did last night. I guess we'll talk about some of
the highlights from this break. Because we've been off for
two weeks. It's way up, went down. It's way up
with Angela. Yee mano's with me today?
Speaker 4 (06:46):
What did you do?
Speaker 3 (06:48):
I know, we haven't been here for a while, so
tell us what you've been up to. You got a
root canal, No, I got a toothpool. You got a toothpool.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
I got a tooth pool. So I came to your
party after that last night. But you know, I woke
up yesterday's news. My stepfather, my mother's husband, passed away.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
Rest in peace.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Yeah, rest in peace. I got care, you know, fly high.
Speaker 12 (07:07):
So he lost my we lost my mother three years
ago January and it's almost to that day. Oh wow,
I feel like he was he in a weird way,
kind of kind of happy to be with your mind
right exactly?
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Okay, yeah, because it's heartbreaking with something like that, your other.
Speaker 12 (07:25):
Half super heartbreaking, Like he was just at my house
for Thanksgiving and he never came out of that that
grieving depression, like you know, of her loss. So they
was like two peas in the part. But uh, you know,
rest in peace to my my god kid, my stepfather,
my mother's husband.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
So yeah, well, and I know that it was so
January is kind of a rough time when you have to.
Speaker 12 (07:49):
Your mom had the twenty eighth of January twenty two.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
Okay, all right, well, sorry to hear that. Well, I
hate that my birthday is in January, because.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
No, it's right. We listen.
Speaker 12 (08:02):
We're gonna continue to do what we need to do,
and we will continue to push and we're gonna live
for the ones that's not here.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
But you know, we're gonna keep going.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
Well, Friday, I usually would have like a big party,
but this year I just decided to stay home and
it was nice, and it was nice. I hit up
DJ Will a couple of days ahead of time, like
I think, I'm a just cater to the house, so
I have food catered at home. And you know, they
are saying a lot more people are spending time at
home instead of going out to celebrate things.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
I like that, you like it. I like that.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
And my house is still like being worked on, but
it was ready enough for people to come over.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
And I bought a karaoke machine that day.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Oh you bought it that day.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
That day I went.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
To PC Richard and Son downtown Brooklyn and bought myself
a karaoke machine. Shout out to Navy on the board.
He's smiling because he had to hook it up. He's like,
where's the ATMI court? How do you do this? You
need the app? And so he's like, make sure when
you get the app.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
I didn't know. You just bought it that day.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
Yeah, just bought it that day. And they actually gave
me a good deal on it because it was my birthday.
Meeks was like, it's her birthday. Do she get a discount?
He always says that, and this time they did it.
Speaker 4 (09:08):
Wow, so thank you. But yes, So I.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Wanted to talk about karaoke etiquette because you know when
there's a bunch of people and everybody wants to do
karaoke and they pick a song.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
But people were a little late, right.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
Skipping a line on let me do this song, let
me do it, let me do it.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
And then it gets a little yeah, not a little hostile.
People wanted to do songs.
Speaker 12 (09:30):
But you know, he was foaming out the mouth. They know,
I have to do this song. I have to this
is my song.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
And I always say that I don't like when people
who can sing do karaoke because it's not fair.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
For the right, right right, right, right right right.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
But thank you to everybody who uh just even said
happy birthday on social media to everybody who showed up
for me.
Speaker 4 (09:48):
I appreciate y'all so much.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
The other thing I did last night was at my
coffee shop, Coffee uplifts people in Brooklyn.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
I have a coffee shop and we have our liquor license.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
So we finally started installation of the bar, and so
I think by next week we should be open in
the evenings and have the bar ready to go. So
it was exciting. Anyway, that's about last night. When we
come back, it's a new year. It's twenty twenty five.
We want to hear your secrets.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
It's still a nice still in out judgment zone, but
twenty twenty five, let's hear those secrets. Let's get all
of those things out there. Let's start fresh, and remember
it's no judgment. You're anonymous. Eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty.
Speaker 4 (10:28):

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Tell us a secret. That's eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty.
Speaker 4 (10:33):

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Think you got the New Year. I just I wanted
to hear the New.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Year New Secrets. Eight hundred two nine two fifty one
fifty call us up. There's a lot of guys calling
in today, so I kind of feel like you'll be
on your side no matter what. But it's no judgment,
so it doesn't matter. Eight hundred fifty one fifty anonymous
calor what's your secret?
Speaker 1 (11:02):
My girl was three months pregnant and I got World
six from my best friend.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
Whoa why she was pregnant of all times?
Speaker 2 (11:10):
A best friend? Huh?
Speaker 7 (11:12):
Well, my best friend?
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Oh friends with her. We grew up together and we've
always wanted to, like, you know, be that kind of
couple or whatever. But I was never herd tight. That's
why we never kind of.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
Like, it's like that game.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
So she gave you a little sample. That's it. That's it.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
So do you still like her and think that's your person?
Speaker 7 (11:34):
Kind of thought them but a little bit.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
Okay, So yes, do your girl ever have any suspicions
about your best friend?
Speaker 6 (11:42):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (11:43):
Well, she's right, she is correct. I know, did you
feel bad? I'd be wondering when guys you do they
feel bad? Did you feel bad?
Speaker 1 (11:53):
I did, and it's been only for the longest. I'm
never No, I haven't even told my brother.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
I don't want you know how you really get it
off your chest? You just confessed to no.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
All right, well, thank you for calling.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
Thank you?
Speaker 4 (12:07):
What appenayamous caller?
Speaker 6 (12:09):
What's going on?
Speaker 4 (12:10):
You want to tell us a secret?
Speaker 7 (12:12):
So I got a girlfriend.
Speaker 9 (12:13):
I didn't go when it since we got together like
right before a pandemic, before the pandemic.
Speaker 6 (12:18):
And I've been cheap basically, I've been cheating.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
When you say cheating, was it multiple people or like
one other person? So I had another main and then
it was just like the other cheek and then you
had multiple other women.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
How did you not get caught?
Speaker 1 (12:31):
I try not to stay around for too long, you know,
and then I got too phone in school.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Give us a specific cheat, a special cheat.
Speaker 9 (12:38):
I went out of town.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
Well you went on trips with people?
Speaker 11 (12:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (12:42):
I didn't went with it been taken.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
And you know, so you really liked these women if
you go out of town, did your main side chick
know about your main chick?
Speaker 2 (12:52):
No?
Speaker 1 (12:52):
No, she didn't.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
So you had two girlfriends they didn't know about each other.
Somebody need to go through your phone, you know. All right, Well,
thank you for calling, but it's no judgment. Eight hundred
two nine fifty fifty. If you couldn't get through, you
could leave a message for last word. And when we
come back, we have your yee tea and we need
to explore this Skip Bayless lawsuit, this Fox Sports workplace
(13:15):
misconduct lawsuit and all of the players involved in it.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
It's way up.
Speaker 6 (13:19):
She's about off this spot.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Let's get it.
Speaker 5 (13:22):
Oh yeah, angelus feeling that yet, Come and get the tea.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
All right, it's way up at into the yee may
Are you ready for this?
Speaker 13 (13:29):
At?
Speaker 3 (13:30):
There's a lot in this and this all has to
do with these allegations from a Nushine Faraji. She worked
at Fox Sports as a hairdresser, and she's alleging sexual
harassment from Skip Bayless and from Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon,
along with racially insensitive comments as well. Okay, so there's
(13:54):
a lot going on in these So I'm trying to
kind of break it all down for you. But according
to these allegations from mister Farragi, she's saying that Skip
Bayliss offered her one point five million dollars for sex.
She said at one point during a haircut, he referred
to her as poluptuous, and English is her second language,
so she said she wasn't familiar with that term. Then,
(14:15):
she said, several years after Skip Bayliss's initial advances, she
confronted him about health issues she had developed because she
just didn't want him to harass her anymore. She claims
in these documents, she said that she explained her situation
to him and was talking about it she could potentially
have cancer, and that's when she said he offered her
one point five million dollars to have sex. She then
(14:36):
claims that mister Bayliss told her that she she told
Skip Bayliss, you know you're married, and he was like, well,
aren't you Muslim? And doesn't your dad have three to
four wives? And then she said that her father was
dead and she made an excuse to leave after that.
But then Joy Taylor is also involved in these allegations.
(14:56):
In this lawsuit, she's alleging that Joy Taylor and gave
he's in a sexual relationship with Charlie Dixon. He's an
executive over at Fox Sports. His title is executive vice
president of content, and she said that, you know, she
saw the two of them together. She also accuses Joy
Taylor of having a relationship with Emmanuel Acho and using
that relationship to get on the show. Now, we don't
(15:17):
know if any of these allegations are true.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
So but do we know if she took the money
on that oh.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
The one point five million, No she did not. She yeah,
she did. She turned down his advances exactly. But these
are all allegations again right now, so now this is
all out. And she feels that she was targeted due
to her ethnicity. She said a Fox employee referred to
as miss m and the lawsuits started targeting her. She's Persian,
and she said one night at an informal dinner at
Mascho Steakhouse, she said to her fuu Persian b And
(15:47):
then I mean, this.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
Is a lot going on now.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
Shannon Sharp, his name is so closely tied in this
because of skip baylists, but he wants people to know
that he has nothing to do with this. He was
with Ocho Sinko doing their show and here's what he said.
Speaker 6 (16:02):
They got nothing to do with me.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
So there's nothing to address in the forty two pages.
Speaker 11 (16:06):
It don't mention nothing about Shannon Sharp, get anything, but
y'all want to get clicked, so y'all mentioned me.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
I will say, though he's a little wrong there because
one of the things that's alleged in this is that
because she didn't sleep with Skip Bayless, she alleges that
her job was threatened. And she also says that Skip
Bayliss accused her angrily of fing Shannon Sharp.
Speaker 4 (16:27):
So that's the only way he's in there.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
She said she did not have any feelings to our
Shannon Sharp, had never slept with him or any other
talent member.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
And she said that he claims.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
That he heard her talk to Shannon Sharp about her vagina.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
That's these allegations.
Speaker 6 (16:40):
It's a lot.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
Yeah, it's a lot going on, but that is your
Yet when we come back, we have under the radar.
These are the stories that are not necessarily and the headlines.
They're flying under the radar. You definitely need to know
about him. Today's an important day. We'll tell you what
Vice President Kamala Harris has to handle today.
Speaker 4 (16:55):
It's way up.
Speaker 6 (16:56):
Take the news. News.
Speaker 5 (16:58):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
It's way up at Angela Yee, mayn Are you ready
to get go under the radar?
Speaker 2 (17:06):
Let's go under it all right.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
President Joe Biden, one of the last major things he's
doing is signing the Social Security Fairness Act into law.
He did that yesterday afternoon, and he said, the bill
I'm signing today is about a simple proposition. Americans who
worked hard all their lives to earn it, honest living
should be able to retire with economic security and dignity.
You know, people have always been nervous about will I
(17:28):
still have Social Security when I retire? And so that
is an important thing that will expand benefits by hundreds
of dollars per month for more than two point five
million Americans, and lawmakers across party lines have praised this
legislation because it helps everybody.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Among people who.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
Were impacted are retirees who at one time worked as firefighters, teachers,
postal workers, police officers, or in other public sector jobs.
Speaker 4 (17:54):
So it limits the benefits allotted to those workers.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
Surviving spouses a provision that limits the benefits that there's
riving spouses we get is also eliminated. So there were
some restrictions before, but now people can feel a little
more comfortable about retirement, something that I always worry about myself.
You want to make sure later on in life you're
at least comfortable.
Speaker 4 (18:15):
All right.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
Now, Today, January sixth, okay, is the day that Congress
is going to certify Trump's election win. But how ironic
that's happening on January sixth. Lawmakers are going to be
gathering at noon today in about twenty minutes, under the
tightest national security level possible. They have layers of tall
(18:37):
black fencing that are around the US Capitol as a
reminder of what happened four years ago when Trump wanted
people to fight like hell. It was one of the
most gruesome attacks on the seat of American democracy. And
so they don't expect that there will be any violence,
any protests, or even any objections in Congress at this time.
And Kamala Harris, Vice President Harris put this statement up
(19:00):
on her social media.
Speaker 13 (19:02):
Today at the United States Capitol, I will perform my
constitutional duty as Vice President of the United States to
certify the results of the twenty twenty four election. As
we have seen, our democracy can be fragile, and it
is up to then each one of us to stand
up for our most cherished principles, and to make sure
(19:24):
our government always remains of the people, by the people,
and for the people.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
All right, So again they don't expect anything to happen
like what happened four years ago on January sixth. All right,
well that is you're under the radar now. You know,
it's a Monday. We are back at work, some of
us just getting back from vacation.
Speaker 4 (19:46):
We got the way it mixed for you guys.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
At the top of the hour, pul Us ask yee

and we are going to help you out with any
question that to have. Again, that's eight hundred to two
fifty one fifty.
Speaker 4 (20:01):
It's way up.
Speaker 3 (20:03):
She's like a tout like they Angela Jean, like they
angel Jean.
Speaker 6 (20:07):
Man She's spilling it all. This is ye Tea way up.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
It's way up with Angela Yee up Maino no Mana
All right, was in Deya is officially engaged. TMZ has confirmed.
Sources close to the couple told them that he popped
question between Christmas and New Year's He got to one
knee in a very intimate setting and one of India's
family homes in the US. And it wasn't a big
(20:34):
over the tip proposal. It was romantic and intimate. Family
was not there. It was just a sweet moment between
the two of them. Nice Sindea and Tom Holland. Is
that how you're gonna do it when you propose?
Speaker 2 (20:45):
I want you to propose to me like that. I
want the lady to you know.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
To drop to one knee and I would you cry?
Speaker 6 (20:52):
Absolutely well.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Naomi Osaka, in the meantime, has announced that she's no
longer dating core Day. She shared the news on her
Instagram story actually today. She said the two will continue
to be great parents to their baby girl, Shy, who
was born in twenty twenty three. She said, no bad
blood at all. He's a great person and an awesome dad. Honestly,
really glad our past cross because my daughter is my
biggest blessing and I was able to grow a lot
(21:19):
from our experiences together. So you know, hopefully it stays cordial.
Sometimes it starts off that way and then things go left.
But both of them seem to be pretty low key
when it comes to things like that. You don't see
them like having relationship problems all over the place on
social media, all right, fans are speculating Drake is addressing
(21:41):
Lebron in this new freestyle. It's called Fighting Irish and
there's some bars on there that people are like and
feels like he's alluding to Lebron James. Now this is
just speculation, but here's what was said.
Speaker 14 (21:55):
That when we traded watches, I gave you the air
the guy, you gave me a number of edition. He
would even check up on my son like a pediatrician
shop aments. The gang was rooted in love when it
is and showed me how different we are as blessings
and justaposition. I guess now you boys got a bandage,
a summer tradition, cole shoulders.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
I gave them a hand.
Speaker 6 (22:13):
Does it come with the distance?
Speaker 14 (22:15):
Figured we was always going to be close like ovens
and kitchens.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
I was sadly mistaken, and loyalty wasn't.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
A giaras woof.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
So people are talking about that whole situation where Lebron
would go to Carabana and that's in Toronto, and then
you know, and also Ovo fests in Toronto for their
vacations and their family style relationship and this bond no
longer exists. Now there's a little bit more to this.
Here's what else Drake said in this fighting Irish freestyle.
Speaker 14 (22:45):
Cry of brws for you, saying it wasn't malicious talking
about we family while I'm not the cousin a visit,
God forbid we ever got to tarnish your public gimmage
or that brother talkers if I really.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
Get suffered a sibling.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
And they all has said that Drake has a tattoo
of the fighting Irish era, the lebron on his left arm.
So that's why people think fighting Iris.
Speaker 4 (23:07):
They think he's uh.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
No, he has a tattoo of the fighting Irish era
lebron on his left arm, that era of you know.
But this whole uh, god forbid we ever got to
tarnish your public image feels like a threat, like God forbid,
I gotta say, yeah, expose something. So people are speculating
about all of these things. They also said that Drake
(23:33):
could be possibly teasing more conductive Williams collapse with this
IG story, because this is with conductor Williams and when
you go to his ID, the image that pops up
is what pops up when you google conductor.
Speaker 4 (23:46):
So there you have it. Bill Cosby has defaulted.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
On his seventeen point five million dollar mortgage and it's
facing a foreclosure on a second New York City townhouse.
Imagine you could have it all and then things like
what happened with him happens, and now you don't anymore.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
So that's terrible for the family, all right.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
Sizza has said that she wants to do peaceful children's
music for her last two album Requirements and then go
be a farmer to donate the produce to underserved communities.
She's tired of this music business. I feel like she's
been saying that at all times. I'm Her SOS album
also has made her the first ever women's hip hop
R and B album to stay number one on the
(24:24):
charts for twelve weeks. Ever, so shout out to her
for all of that. I'm gonna see that siss A
Kiki Palma movie actually go today.
Speaker 4 (24:32):
I'm doing a screening for it.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
But they also had on trending on social media a
song that she teased, I'm just does.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
And just send them to you.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
Just happy to be present, trying words like you and
Hell yeah, I said it.
Speaker 15 (24:47):
Go defend do pleasers or to goos sleazy when my
knees go unattended God rezentmming.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
Hell yeah, I'm more grasses, Hell yeah, I'm restless, flat
temper glass. So according to SiZ, it's a teaser that
won't be released anytime soon, and that was on her story.
All right, well that is your yet when we come back,
it's a Monday May no, Sarah, So we need some
Monday shine, yeah, baby, and we need this today.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
A lot going on. It's way up. It's turn me
up here we go up again.
Speaker 6 (25:19):
This is way up with Angela.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
Ye all right, well ma, no, it's time for you, yes, yes, yes,
to get this.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
We know it is a new year.
Speaker 12 (25:31):
We made it through the year twenty five. A lot
of people didn't, and everybody got a resolution.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
And I'm saying, like.
Speaker 12 (25:39):
What we what we really need to do is just
woke down and focus right, stay in your lane. This
is the things that I tell myself. You are not
in competition with nobody, because you got people out there
that think they in competition with you, right, You got
people out there that that's imaginary competition, and you are not.
(25:59):
And you don't got to be petty to go petty
back and forth with them. What I say is, I'm
gonna give you more reason to hate me.
Speaker 3 (26:06):
Oh I love that from Afar though. If you already
didn't like me, about to hate me.
Speaker 12 (26:11):
Kill them with success, kill them with success. Stay in
your lane, do what you gotta do.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
Keep your blinders on stas go forward.
Speaker 12 (26:19):
Right, it's a new year, so you got another opportunity.
Step into your greatness, keep moving, keep pushing.
Speaker 3 (26:25):
You know, since you talk about it being a new
year and resolutions.
Speaker 4 (26:28):
One thing that I.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Decided to do this year that I have to really
really focus on and be intentional about is cutting things
off that just don't serve me. And sometimes we hang
on to things for too long, whether it's partnerships, relationships.
We think that people will change with your energy, and
sometimes if you're like this is just weighing on me
(26:50):
too much, this is not benefit in any way, it's
just let it go and you feel like a burden
has been lifted off. Now, I'm not going to say
that everybody is in a position to do that. If
you are in a position to do that, because sometimes
you know you're locked in because of a contract or
you need to have a certain job, or you have
to you know whatever. Sometimes there's things that you can't help,
(27:10):
but whatever you can help and cut back on and
say this energy is terrible for me.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
Cut those off first and then work on the rest
of the things. Absolutely all right, I love that renovation.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
That's right, all right?
Speaker 3 (27:22):
Well, when we come back, ask yee. Eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty. It's a Monday and maynovation,
but it's also the award winning advice giving MANO here
to help you out, as I'm here to help you
out too, like I always try to do. It's way
up eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
Speaker 5 (27:38):
Hey, everybody like sens, whether it's relationship or career advice.
Speaker 6 (27:41):
Angela's dropping facts. You should this is as Kee.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
What happens way up at Angela?
Speaker 3 (27:47):
Yee, I'm here with the award winning advice giving cookie.
Speaker 4 (27:51):
I know, right, and we have an anonymous caller on
the line.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
He doesn't want to give up his information, so I
know it's a juicy question.
Speaker 4 (27:59):
So what's up?
Speaker 6 (28:00):
Hey?
Speaker 9 (28:00):
So I've been talking to this girl. She's my baby
mother in the house, and we've been together for going
on about ten years.
Speaker 4 (28:08):
Wow.
Speaker 9 (28:09):
She was living with me in the basement with me
and my family, and then she said that she wanted
to move out, so I said, okay, no problem.
Speaker 6 (28:15):
We moved out.
Speaker 9 (28:16):
We went to Georgia. I had moved in with a
guy that I had considered a friend, and I mind you,
she's been cheating on me for like a lot, which
was like probably four years of the straight cheating, and
I figured, Okay, if I take you out of New York,
it might make our relationship stronger. I figured that, like
if I had just showed her like unconditional love, something
that she wasn't really raised with, that maybe it would
(28:39):
change the way she acts.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
This is crazy, So what ended up happening.
Speaker 9 (28:43):
So get for worth. So we ended up going to Georgia.
The guy we had moved in with, she ended up,
I guess, feeling like being with him would be better
since he already has the place. So she ended up
moving on with him and I ended up coming back
home to New York. He stayed out there for two years,
and she told me to keep the kids. She's gonna
(29:04):
stagy family, which I have full Yeah, so I have
full company of the kids. They've been living with me
for the past two years and she stayed out there.
Now things with her and the.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Guy didn't work out apparent, of course, so.
Speaker 9 (29:16):
He ended up moving back to New York. But she
had nowhere to go because she.
Speaker 11 (29:19):
Tried to move in with me and you took her back. No,
I didn't take her back. From time to time, I
will still come by and visit her because we have
kids together, and I grew with both my parents. He didn't,
so I don't want my kids growing up and not
knowing who their mom is. And just to my kids,
I feel like it would be good to kind of
have that family dynamic back together.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
But what is it about you that makes you feel
like you are responsible? And then even the fact that
she was willing to abandon her children, but you want
to give them this family dynamic. You know, your kids
should not ever see the way that you're being treated
either walked all over. I don't understand what it is
that you're still holding on too, because it feels like
you're making excuses for her. And Listen, a lot of
(29:59):
us have a trauma and it does affect how we
deal with the relationships moving forward. But I think enabling
her is not really the answer. She's willing to get
some help for herself.
Speaker 12 (30:09):
You got to tighten up. You move like a socker.
They're gonna play back one. You gotta tighten up. She
been walking all over you from from from day one
pretty much. And your homieknew South was sweet about you.
That's why he did what he did. He said, come
sleep on my couch.
Speaker 4 (30:21):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
I never want to be for tearing a family apart,
but I also you know, she needs to do the
work on herself. What is she doing to work on herself?
What steps is she taking and what accountability is she taking?
Speaker 6 (30:33):
Well, that's the thing.
Speaker 9 (30:34):
She'd actually not taking no accountability. She swears that like
she did.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
Until she's willing to take accountability, do the work. Because
I do know people who have worked through things and
have had trauma and manage to get their family back together.
But if she's not making no effort, not taking no accountability,
then this isn't gonna go anywhere.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
Okay, you know, and you have to be very.
Speaker 6 (30:54):
Clear the line.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
Yeah, but if she doesn't, she's not what you gotta
like let her know. I can't do this because you
haven't worked on yourself and you're not taking any accountability.
And that's why you are definitely able to see the
children and we can work out an arrangement and custody
and all of those things, because you don't know what
she might do in the future, so you want to
make sure you protect yourself and your kids too, and
that's always a priority. All Right, Well, good luck, thank you,
(31:21):
And on that note, I would love to talk to
you guys in twenty twenty five. You know, during Monday
Ma Innovation, we talked about cutting things out that no
longer serve you, that stress you out, that's a burden
on you, and that could be people, that could be jobs,
it could be situations. We want to know from you,
what's something that you need to cut out? In twenty
twenty five eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty
(31:42):
call us up, let us know what are you getting
rid of?
Speaker 4 (31:44):
What are you releasing?
Speaker 3 (31:45):
In twenty twenty five eight hundred two ninety two fifty
one fifty Yep.
Speaker 4 (31:50):
He'll we go upgain.
Speaker 6 (31:51):
This is way up with angela Ye.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
All right, it's way up with Angela ye.
Speaker 3 (31:55):
May know we're talking about what is something that you're
going to be cutting out for twenty five, something that
does not serve you, something that could be a burden
on you.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
What do you say exactly that right there? Destroy all distractions?
Speaker 4 (32:07):
But like, what give us an example.
Speaker 12 (32:10):
Frivolous of people that factless partying for no purpose?
Speaker 2 (32:16):
Okay, you know your circle is very important.
Speaker 12 (32:20):
You know to your success, you shouldn't be always the
smartest or the richest person in that room or group.
You should be in a circle that inspires you. If not,
then then what are you doing? You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (32:30):
I think for myself, I always give people a lot
of chances. I always make excuses for people. I always
actually feel really empathetic toward people, be like I feel
bad she's this, or I feel bad because you and
I have to stop doing that. If you show me
who you are, I have to believe it and can
be moving. And I'm always way too nice, and so
there's just different people that I've had to deal with
that I am happy to be, like, let me just
(32:52):
get this off my life. When you feel like after
talking to somebody is stressable, you see their number pop
up and you're like, oh gosh, I don't even want
to have to deal with that. Anymore that all right, Well,
what are you guys cutting off? In twenty twenty five?
Speaker 4 (33:03):
Anitya? What are you cutting out?
Speaker 7 (33:05):
I'm cutting out nothing that's not for me. And I
just felt like I wanted to be happy this year.
You know, last year wasn't the best year for me.
I was in a relationship that was very drive along.
I made a lot of excuses for him, and this
year we're taking accountability and just making sure that we're
happy this year. And doesn't matter what the situation is,
you come first.
Speaker 4 (33:24):
Cheer's happiness. So you're getting rid of your your guy, I'm.
Speaker 7 (33:27):
Not getting rid of him. I got rid of him
this morning. I will send him a message.
Speaker 4 (33:32):
Over say that, Anitya, you said ways and.
Speaker 7 (33:35):
Your reassurance, and I'm just here for the for the
than you journey of twenty twenty five. It's everything is
at my fingertips and I will reach it. And I
actually got to illuminate my past in life that whatever
is for me, I will see it clearly.
Speaker 4 (33:49):
Thank you, baby, Go write that down too for us
and post it.
Speaker 7 (33:52):
Oh well, thank you. Happy New Year's guys.
Speaker 4 (33:53):
Happy New Year.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
They say, when you write things down, it really really
comes into fruition Paul below, What are you getting rid of?
What are you cutting out? What burden are you unloading?
Speaker 1 (34:04):
I'm cutting a lot of alcohol.
Speaker 7 (34:06):
Out of my sister.
Speaker 4 (34:07):
Okay, all right, I got a lose wade.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
I fought back from depression. Anxiety hit me. I was
at a commission for a year and a half and
I'm back.
Speaker 4 (34:14):
Oh well, first of all, welcome back. We're glad to
have you.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
I turned sixty today, my birthday today.
Speaker 3 (34:19):
Oh my gush, I love that, fellow Capricorn, Happy birthday.
What are you going to do to cut back? Well?
Speaker 1 (34:25):
Me and my wife Monday through Thursday, Donday. Actually I
started yesterday. I won't have a drink till Friday when
we go up to the pocon I was with my wife.
Speaker 9 (34:34):
Okay, we've been married thirty seven years.
Speaker 3 (34:37):
Okay, you've been getting out her nerves thirty seven years.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
No, no, I wait on her hand and foot. She's like,
so precious.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
Okay, you're scheduling when you're going to have a drink
so you don't overdo it.
Speaker 4 (34:51):
All right, Well, thank you for calling in. I am
definitely here for that.
Speaker 9 (34:54):
No, I appreciate you.
Speaker 1 (34:55):
Have a great day.
Speaker 6 (34:56):
Great here you too.
Speaker 3 (34:57):
Stephanie, Hey, what are you getting rid of?
Speaker 4 (35:01):
What are you cutting out for twenty twenty five?
Speaker 2 (35:04):
Oh?
Speaker 15 (35:04):
Just negative energy and just toxic family members. Ooh yes,
like recently, I mean like about a year now, my
brother was murdered.
Speaker 4 (35:15):
Sorry, and instead.
Speaker 15 (35:17):
Of us setting together and you know, resolving the situation
and figuring out what's going on, it's just like everybody
just turned against me and then.
Speaker 4 (35:25):
Try to pin the murder on me when I had
nothing to do with it. Oh that's wild.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
Your own brother, yes, imagine already grieving and they acting
like it's your fault.
Speaker 15 (35:35):
Already grieving exactly.
Speaker 4 (35:37):
So You're like, I don't got to do this. I
don't gotta deal with these people.
Speaker 15 (35:40):
I'm just gonna go with my bees and just you know,
worry about my brother and figure it out his case.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
Well, Stephanie, I wish you luck and I hope that
y'all get at least some closure when it comes to
this open case. But sometimes you do got to cut
off those toxic family members. Just because we family doesn't
mean that I gotta.
Speaker 4 (35:59):
Deal with the bay exactly. All right. Well, good luck
and thank you, all right, thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
All right, Well, thank you guys for calling us up
at eight hundred and two ninety fifty one fifty.
Speaker 4 (36:09):
That's the number.
Speaker 3 (36:10):
We are always taking your calls to play for last word,
and that's what we have when we come back.
Speaker 6 (36:14):
It's way up, tapping to get your voice heard. What
the word? Here's the last word on Way up with
Angela Yee, Way up.
Speaker 4 (36:23):
With Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (36:24):
May Now we're back Dayre's day back on the ear.
It was a weird holiday time because of where New
Year's fell.
Speaker 4 (36:32):
My birthday was on Friday. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
Thanks long weekend, but thank you.
Speaker 4 (36:36):
Everybody was fun. Today was a fun day.
Speaker 2 (36:38):
Happy birthday to you.
Speaker 4 (36:39):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (36:40):
It's snowing outside here in New York and I and listen,
New York City is the first city to have congestion pricing,
so it costs nine dollars now to come into midpoun. Yeah,
so I feel like they're going to try this in
other cities after this, So just stay woke people. And
speaking of finances, I'm so excited about this Wealth Wednesday's
Real Estate Club that I actually just am launching. So Wednesday,
(37:03):
we do have a free virtual event and that's going
to be kicking that off, and a lot of people
have been telling me what they want to do now
is start preparing for the future, people that have been
scared to invest in real estate. I always give people
like advice offline. You know, I have my real estate license.
So now we're going to really be doing this. Me,
my co host Stacy Tisdale, and I have an expert,
Siam Ibraham, who's helped over ten thousand people do over
(37:26):
one thousand real estate transactions worth about one in a
quarter of billion dollars. So if you want to get
your spot to this free virtual live event, text the
word party to six eight nine two one five seven
six sixty four and so you can learn a lot
of those things here.
Speaker 4 (37:41):
I'm excited. It's credible, and.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
You know me, I'm trying to make sure everybody is
prepared for the future like I'm trying to do for myself.
But thank y'all again, we'll be back tomorrow. You have
the last.
Speaker 15 (37:52):
Words I just wanted to say. So, I've been married
for thirteen years, and now of those thirteen years, have
been engaged three times to three different gods.
Speaker 8 (38:00):
This year, I'm just kind of focusing on navigating which
of my friends are really there for me? Or what
are my friends are really just there for what I
have to offer. Because the older and the more successful
I get, the more I'm realizing that everybody is fully
there for you.
Speaker 6 (38:16):
Going Way Out with Angela Yee
