Speaker 4 (03:28):
It's way up. I'm here, My girl Tella is here
with me.

Speaker 7 (03:31):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
And let's get into this yet, and I want to
start up with films like Medea goes to jail, Media's
witness protection. Uh So, A rest in peace to her
family and our condolences to her family. A rest and
peace to her her husband, Lamara Sellers, and they had
three children together. They have not released a cause of
death at this time.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
And Glorilla, her Glorious album has made her the third
female rap artist to chart all songs on the US
Apple Music Charged this decade Big Glow Yes, So Meg
the Stallion did it in twenty twenty with Good News.
Nicki Minaj did it in twenty twenty three with Pink
Friday Too and Glorious. Glorilla, she just did it too,

(04:13):
So congratulations to her.

Speaker 7 (04:14):
I love me, swinkle out.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
And in other women breaking news, Nicki Minaj is the
fifth black woman in history to gross over one hundred
million dollars in a single tour. You know who else
did it before her, Tina Turner, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Siza,
So congratulations, women are really breaking the mold right now.
Kanye West is being accused of drugging and raping his

(04:38):
former assistant Lauren Pashota while in a recording studio with Diddy.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
These are allegations.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
She previously sued him for sexual harassment and wrongful termination,
but now she has more serious allegations against him.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
According to Rolling Stone.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Lauren and another of her clients were invited to a
studio session where drinks were served to her and others
in a ten t followed by an announcement that everybody
had to drink if they wanted to stay. She said
after a few small SIPs, she started to feel disoriented
and passed out until the morning and was unable to
remember anything. But she said she did feel immense shame
and embarrassment, and she said she did know she was

(05:16):
sexually assaulted, and then Wes himself allegedly brought up the
incident years later, telling her that they did kind of
hook up.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
So that is crazy.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Another thing that's being said in this paperwork is that
Kanye West wanted to have sex with his wife's mother,
Bianca's mother, and this is all detailed. There were text
messages that she said she had a screenshot of that
was sent to her this and it said, I want
to f your mom before she leaves. Allegedly, this is

(05:50):
what he wrote to Bianca. Bianca was in the US
on a work visa at the time.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
I read and.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
I'm going to have someone this weekend and tell you
the next time your I can't even say all of this, wow,
but with me, let's just say that was the alleged
reply that she said to him when he requested that.
Now on, as far as Bianca's mother on her behalf,
the Daily Mail caught up with her. She's in Melbourne.
Daily Mail Australia caught up with her while she was
running errands this morning and her response is that she

(06:20):
would not be drawn into these latest claims about her
son in law, and she also asked for privacy. Well,
that's wild that they caught up with her in Melbourne,
straight to it. Yeah, you can't even escape these allegations.
So it'll be interesting to see what happens with all
of this at this point. Right now, these are allegations,
all right, Well, that is your yet when we come back,

(06:42):
we have about last night. That's where we discussed what
we did last night. You just got to New York
last night. I did from Chicago. We'll talk about it
right now. Here is DJ Khaled, Rihanna and bryceon Tiller
with wild thoughts.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
It's way up.

Speaker 6 (06:55):
So about last night, Yes, Zai went down.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
It's way up at the Angela Yee, I'm here. My
girl Tella's here. That's right, Shella h I'm not Tella.
What were you doing in Chicago over the weekend.

Speaker 7 (07:09):
Over the weekend, I did some of everything. What did
I do? Yesterday morning? I got up went to church.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Oh yeah, I felt bad. I haven't been to church
physically and so long.

Speaker 7 (07:20):
So I've been making it my business to go twice
a month.

Speaker 8 (07:23):
Okay, Now, I'm a member, a loyal member of New
Beginnings Past Cord Brooks. So I went to church, and
then I got ready to come to New York, and
I made a stop by Inglewood Branded Fest. It's a
festival in Inglewood that my boy Big Corey through, So
I stopped by there and then I came to the airport.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Okay, well, yesterday, well, over the weekend and Friday I
went to wilding Out. I know you went to wilding
Out in Chicago, so I did. And I went to
the one in New York at the Barclays.

Speaker 7 (07:51):
Okay, so that was cool.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
I got a chance to see Lolabrook. Lolerbrook is so.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Cute, like she's pretty, you know, and she's very energetic
and hype and everything she dressed, cue hair always done right.
So shout out to Lola Brook for being out there.
Capella Gray also performed. I saw young A May okay,
but then I think she left. I saw she went
and performed with Nicki Minaj, so she didn't stay the
whole time, but I did see her from a distance
in a different section.

Speaker 7 (08:17):
The Chicago one was lit.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Yeah, and shout out to Justina Valentine. She always kills.

Speaker 7 (08:22):
It, so she's my favorite.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
Yeah she is okay, she liked that.

Speaker 7 (08:26):
And I like b I like all of them.

Speaker 8 (08:28):
We had she her bowl, we had Angel Reese came
out looking like a snack.

Speaker 7 (08:33):
Okay, it was lit.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
Chicago was when Nick Cannon was up here. We were
talking about injuries, yes, and how she looked. He was like,
I didn't realize she was so tall.

Speaker 7 (08:41):
Yes, real tall. She came out, you had some cheeks.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Out, Okay. The other thing this is depressing for me
to talk about. But the other thing I did was
me with my accountant. That's tough, and I just want
to say, even though I don't want to pay these taxes,
you have to do it, okay, because the interests and
penalties and all of those things will add up if
you don't handle it. If you have money that you

(09:05):
owe from the past, or maybe you're supposed to get
some money back, why wouldn't you. But anytime that there's
you know, and I know I always have to get
an extension and put it off for as long as
I can.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
But just make sure you take care of things. That's
all I have to say.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
The worst thing you could do is not handle your
financial responsibilities, right.

Speaker 7 (09:21):
I got to take care of my see for sure.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
You know how many people are behind on that.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
But the only time we not is when we know
they owe us money exactly. And that's an important thing.
But one thing I learned from talking to my tax attorney.
He was like, listen, the reason why the taxes are
so crazy is something that Donald Trump implemented when he
was in office. And he was like he kept the
amount of money that you could write off at this amount,
and that's why you owe so much ever since then?

(09:46):
And because I was like, why do I owe so
much money every single year? And that's what he was
telling me.

Speaker 7 (09:50):
So I got to get going to ask period.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
He was like, I don't know why people don't talk
about that more frequently when it comes to talking about
elections and money. And he was like, can you move
to Florida some like that for your taxes because it
might be worth it. All right, well that is about
last night. Now when we come back, you know what
time it is, It's time for you to call us
up and tell us a secret. Maybe over the weekend
you had a little sneaky linka or maybe there's something

(10:14):
that you did when you were eight years old that
you now want to reveal and talk about. A lot
of y'all be stealing from your parents and calling up
and confessing those things.

Speaker 7 (10:23):
Sneaky snap.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
You think everybody's stole from their parents at some point.

Speaker 8 (10:25):
No, I never stolen, not even ten dollars up, No,
your mom's purse, not at all?

Speaker 3 (10:30):
All right, Well eight hundred two nine two fifty one
fifty call us up, you get to remain anonymous. There's
no judgment over here. Call us up and tell us
a secret.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
Again.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
The number is eight hundred two ninety two fifty one
fifty anonymous, no judgment zone, Call us up, tell us
a secret. It's way up.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
Okay, what's up as way up with Angela? Yee, I'm here,
my girl, tell us here. That's right from Chicago, Chicago.
We're not gonna play a job.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Come on, come on, come on.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Age, big h the low end to be exactly all right,
and we want you guys to call us up and
tell us a secret. It's anonymous, and you know we
don't judge nobody, all right. Eight hundred two nine fifty
fifty anonymous collar, tell us a secret.

Speaker 11 (11:14):
So I have a twin brother, and me and my
twin brother used to be super bad when we were children,
and so we were little, we said the pope, but
really I set the carpet on fire. But I ended
up lying my way out the situation and getting him
in trouble for it, and he ended up getting the butt.

Speaker 12 (11:30):
Cutting for it.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Let's for brothers and sisters afford to blame. Them, Yeah,
and nobody.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
I ain't gonna lie. You know how many things I
did and my brother had to take the blame.

Speaker 11 (11:41):
And it's easier when you got a twin too, because
if you've got a twin, then you can really put
everything off on your twin, not get in trouble for
a lot of stuff.

Speaker 8 (11:47):
Right, they'd be like, let's check the cameras, right, are
y'all identical?

Speaker 11 (11:52):
We're fraternal, but we look a lot alike.

Speaker 13 (11:55):
We're both the same.

Speaker 14 (11:55):
Complex and we have the same haircut and everything.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Did he get a beating?

Speaker 12 (12:00):
Uh?

Speaker 11 (12:00):
He did get a beating, and then later on that
night I got a whooping too.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
That's what happens to you when you got a sibling.
They get a gat and then you get a beating.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
All right, thank you.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
For sharing with us. Shout out to your twin. Sweet,
what's eponymous color?

Speaker 4 (12:13):
How are you?

Speaker 14 (12:13):
I'm doing well? How about you? Good?

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Good?

Speaker 4 (12:16):
You want to tell me and tell that a secret?

Speaker 13 (12:18):
Yes?

Speaker 14 (12:19):
So my secret is when I was a teenager, I
was that one that used to go and my dad
he's wallet and I would add his credit card to
shot shoe fabulous and all types of things online that
I was shot before, but now then I am an adult.
My son is a teenager. He doing the same thing

(12:39):
to me, But I'm just a little more slick, so
I know. But he thinks that I don't that.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
Yeah, I told you. Everybody still from their parents at
some point.

Speaker 7 (12:47):
Why you do it?

Speaker 3 (12:47):
That's what made me call when I heard you see
she did it and now it's getting done to her.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
Why you don't say something to him?

Speaker 14 (12:54):
Oh no, I done say something to him. Yeah, I
say something to him all the time.

Speaker 7 (12:58):
Yeah, so he's still doing it.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
You know you should do You should have like a
fake police officer come to the house.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
You know what I'm saying. Just set them up and
just be like, we're gonna have to ask you.

Speaker 14 (13:12):
The fake warrant.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
Yeah, yeah, you should be like this came in the mail.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
I have to report this credit card was being used
unauthorized and they're saying it's you.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
That'd be so funny.

Speaker 7 (13:22):
Yeah, that's crazy.

Speaker 14 (13:23):
You know why I might. I'm gonna make a TikTok
beauty a lot of it.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
How old is I crying?

Speaker 14 (13:30):
He's seventeen, my son.

Speaker 7 (13:31):
Ohh yeah, you're sad for him. It's sad for him
to stop that.

Speaker 14 (13:37):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
Is all right.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
Well, thank you for sharing with us and for proving
my point. Tell her claim she didn't still I didn't.

Speaker 7 (13:43):
I didn't.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
She's gonna take that to the grade.

Speaker 7 (13:47):
I really did.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
All right, Well, that.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Was tell us a secret eight hundred two nineteen fifty
one fifty. If you couldn't get through, you could still
leave a message. And when we come back, we have
your yet, and let's talk about since we got Chicago
and the building r Kelly. The first part of this
documentary that his daughter is doing with her allegations against
him aired on Friday, and we'll give you some of

(14:10):
those details.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
It's way up, yo, she's about to the d.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Off this spot.

Speaker 6 (14:13):
Let's get it, oh, Angelus building that yet, come and
get the tea.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
It's way up at Angela gyee, I'm here. Cella's here.

Speaker 7 (14:20):
That's why the chagarl cella not the lower case.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
All right, let's get into some yet. First off, let's
talk about R. Kelly's daughter, buku Wabi. She has a
documentary about him. It's a two part expose about R.
Kelly and his relationship with his children. It's called Karma,
A Daughter's Journey and she's detailing an incident that she
said occurred when she was around eight or nine years old.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
Here is that part.

Speaker 15 (14:49):
I really like that one millich second completely just changed
my whole life. Just remember waking up to him touching me.
I didn't know what to do. I just kind of
laid there to be sleep.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
I was too scared to tell anybody.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
She's not twenty six years old, and she said that
he was her everything, and she didn't even want to
believe that it happened. Her mother's in it, and her brother,
Robert Kelly Junior, is in it too, And even though
she's speaking about this alleged incident for the first time publicly,
this is not the first time that she's made these accusations.
And according to TMZ, she told her mom about the

(15:33):
incident in two thousand and nine, roughly two years after
it happened, and that's when Andrea Kelly filed a complaint
at the time, listing her daughter as Jane Doe. But
they were told the statute of limitations had passed.

Speaker 4 (15:45):
Can you imagine that?

Speaker 3 (15:46):
I don't think there should be a statute of limitations
on that, because again, people are always like, why did
you wait? Why did you wait, she was eight or
nine years old. It was her father. She didn't want
to believe it. Now Here's what she had to say
about even still to this day, when to speak to
her dad, but feeling conflicted.

Speaker 15 (16:03):
I sugg with it a lot, not ever wanting to
talk to him again, but then wanting to my dad.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
You know, imagine that's your dad, and you know. He
has been found guilty back in twenty twenty two on
six of thirteen federal charges, which included three child pornography
charges for sexually abusing four girls, three of whom were miners,
and also making videos of himself sexually assaulting his fourteen
year old god daughter. That was another three charges for

(16:34):
producing sex tapes with a minor just as an fyi
and so on his behalf. His attorney is saying that
he denies these allegations and that his ex wife made
the same allegation years ago, and it was investigated and
it was unfounded, and the filmmaker filmmakers did not reach
out to mister Kelly or his team to even allow
him to deny these hurtful claims. So that is what

(16:57):
his attorney is saying. All right, Well, that is your
yee t. I mean this is sad.

Speaker 7 (17:03):
Yeah, you can had a pinahal voice.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Yeah to even why is that your father to have
to come out with that? But this is on TVEI
Networks again. That was part one of a two part
expose about R. Kelly and his relationship with his children.
When we come back, we have your under the radar stories.
These are the stories that are not necessarily and the
headlines are flying under the radar, and we are going

(17:26):
to talk about Frank Frazier, who's also known as Bounty Tank.
Now you know he did Way Up with Ye talking
about his life as a bounty killer, but he's also
an artist.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
He's a rapper.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
Unfortunately, something happened over the weekend and we're still trying
to get all the details of his condition, but we'll
talk about it.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
It's way up under the radar. Is next.

Speaker 6 (17:45):
Take the news news. This in the news that relates
to you. These stories are flying under the radar.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
It's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and
my girl tell's here.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
Man.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
Sorry, guys, I was running. I don't have an intern
or nothing, so I have to run downstairs, get my food,
get everything. I need to get and then I'm up
here and do this show. So let's get into these
under the radar stories. A popular Akron bounty hunter who,
by the way, has been up here, Bounty Tank, on
way up at Angela Yee, was unfortunately shot while attempting
to serve a warrant. He was also with other Bill Bondsman.

(18:21):
This happened on Thursday night around eight fifteen pm, and
when Bounty Tank was up here, he was talking about
becoming a bounty hunter, what made him do it and
how dangerous it can be. He had another incident when
he was in Detroit. Here's what he said up here.
The most dangerous time you ever had was one mission
in Detroit.

Speaker 16 (18:39):
Yes, that's the only time that I've ever had someone
shoot at me and I was actually running for my life.
So now I know that the badge means nothing in
the streets. I mean, you gotta show people respect, You
got to move a certain way. So that helped me navigate,
not to be power tripping, not to think just because
I got this on, I could say what I want
to do what I want. You can't. Somebody will take
you out.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Suspect did fire multiple shots and they did say he
was hit at least once during that time. He was
shot in the torso and was taken to an area
hospital in serious condition. They were two teenagers, a sixteen
year old and an eighteen year old who were at
the house and arrested on outstanding warrants. So far, there
have been no charges filed in connection to the shooting,

(19:21):
but unfortunately Bounty Tank aka Frank Frazier is listed in
serious conditions.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
So our prayers go out to him.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
That is, like we said, work that's not easy to do,
dangerous work that's crazy.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
All right.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Today is also Indigenous People's Day, and so people are
really working to eliminate Columbus Day and called it and
this should be known and celebrated as Indigenous People's Day,
which is a commemoration of Native American history and culture.
It has been federally recognized through proclamation for the past
three years, and President Joe Biden did proclaim the day

(19:56):
to honor, perseverance and courage of Indigenous peoples. It depends
on where you live whether or not it's an official holiday,
but Columbus Day is still a federal holiday right now.
And I said there's even some schools right now that
they're saying, we're not celebrating Columbus Day. We're getting rid
of that all together. Okay, bang wrong, Yes, so that's

(20:17):
what we are celebrating today, Indigenous People's Day. All right, Well,
we do have the Way Up mixed at the top
of the hour for you on this Monday, so you
can get your week started off right.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Also, my girl Tella h is here.

Speaker 7 (20:29):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
You always have some great ideas and business plans.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
I do. So we're going to talk about what you
have going on. I was also out there recently for
your birthday. You have me and Trina as appearances there,
and you had a Halloween party coming.

Speaker 7 (20:41):
Up as well. Do almost twenty seven I so is lit.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
And you have Your's a Vibe store that's right in Chicago.

Speaker 7 (20:47):
What's ninety fifth Street?

Speaker 4 (20:48):
All right, we'll talk about it. It's way up, just
like the talk like they Je Jean like they and
Jeli Jean.

Speaker 6 (20:55):
Man, she's spilling it all. This is yet way up.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Yeah, it's way up.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
With Angela Yee, I'm here, my Girllla h is here.

Speaker 4 (21:06):
Let's get into some yet now.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
Keishako, it looks like people saw that she has Hancho's
government name tatted on her. She also recently on live
so that she is not single, and so it says Ibrahim.
I guess you know that's his real name, right all right.
In addition to that, though, it feels like they are
going strong because they also have a song together. You

(21:30):
saw this, yeah, I saw that. He did preview it
on his page and here's what it sounds.

Speaker 7 (21:36):
Like, got my girl sank in gospel.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Something must be amazing.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
And you know, people were talking about the fact that
he's twenty five and she's forty two, and it seemed
like he was dating other people around the same time.
I don't know what's going on with them behind closed doors,
but I will.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
Say, Kishako, when she falls, she falls hard. I looked
like hansh'all be haunching to me all right now.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Victoria Monet was spotted kissing storm Z and he's a
British rapper and this was in London on Thursday, so
people have a lot to say about that. You know,
she recently broke up with her child's father and they
put out a statement about breaking up and they, I guess,

(22:36):
are doing their own thing right now. I don't know
who's Stormzy if he was dating somebody else, But he
also announced his own split from TV host Maya Jama
is her name, so well, you know, I guess they're
both single people kissing in the airport. And sometimes people
are like, why did you make a statement? That statement
could be so that you could do what you need
to do without people saying, oh, I thought he was

(22:58):
with this person.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
I thought she was with that person.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
And so that's why sometimes people have to be like,
we have broken up, please give us our privacy at
this time. All right, now, a couple that is really
going strong and strong enough that we get to witness
it on OnlyFans. It's Sydney Star and former Empire star
brush are Gray. They have linked up together. There's a
whole lot of clips that are circulating online of the

(23:22):
two of them, and I mean, they are really going
all the way for it on OnlyFans. Here's the two
of them together, Daddy meets Empire.

Speaker 16 (23:31):
Okay, Darius, I'm sorry, she's so good.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
Sorry, Eddie waves matters.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
The reason why, by the way, he apologized to Darius
McCrary and all of that is because on with Adam
twenty two. I guess she said that he paid for
her to have surgery to remove her penis.

Speaker 7 (23:56):
Right, Sydney Star.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Mm hm, And so she says that Darry was able
to afford the surgery things to his role in family matters.
And yeah, so I guess sorry, I got it surgery
done and have moved on.

Speaker 8 (24:11):
Well, you know Sydney from Chicago, so you know we
got a way up and.

Speaker 7 (24:15):
Who we want.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Sydney Star definitely did do lip service live when we
were in Chicago.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
Okay, shout out to Sydney Star.

Speaker 8 (24:21):
Shout out to him too, because he looks really happy,
like really all right.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Ari Lennox, speaking of happiness, has decided to depart from
social media, and she said her happiness, her happiness is
worth more. She said, Hey, I'm working on a plan
to transition off of social media for good. I don't
believe I'll ever mature and be happy as long as
I haven't. So my last day of socials will be
December eighteenth, my two year sobriety anniversary. I will be

(24:48):
deleting my Facebook, ig and TikTok permanently. The fear of
losing brand, deals, music sales and all of that will
no longer keep me here to all of my beautiful fans.
I'm just not happy nor thriving here. I have a
very toxic and codependent relationship with these apps. My happiness
is worth more to me than using these platforms to promote.

(25:08):
So I feel your girl, and what she can do
is have a page that is run by other people
that can put out whatever things that need to be
promoted right and operate that way.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
But she's not on it.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
I know it's hard, all right, and I understand her
and I feel her pain because you're trying to do
brand deals. People want your social media posts, all of
those things. It's not an easy situation.

Speaker 7 (25:28):
It's gonna be a lot.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
All right. Well, that is your ut.

Speaker 3 (25:31):
And when we come back, we have ask ye eight
hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty any question you have,
We are here to help you out.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
It's way up everybody sense.

Speaker 6 (25:38):
Whether it's relationship or career advice. Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
You should know. This is ask kee. What's up?

Speaker 4 (25:45):
Its way up with Angela? Yee. I'm here, my girl,
Tella is here.

Speaker 5 (25:48):
What up?

Speaker 4 (25:49):
Tella?

Speaker 3 (25:49):
H And we are ready for ask Yee eight hundred
two nine two fifty one fifty. Any question, We're here
to help you out, and we got Alyssa on the line.
What's up, Alissa?

Speaker 2 (25:57):
Hey, how you feeling feeling good?

Speaker 12 (26:00):
I'm right some advice from the Queen.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Thank you away, girl? What's your question for asking you today?

Speaker 12 (26:08):
So last weekend was my best friend's birthday and I
showed up and I had a really good time. But
she just started expressing to me last night that she's
actually mad that I didn't help enough. Am I wrong
for this?

Speaker 4 (26:23):
What do you mean by help enough?

Speaker 3 (26:24):
Like?

Speaker 4 (26:25):
What did she want you to do?

Speaker 12 (26:26):
She said that I didn't contribute to like setting up
her plans and everything, but I feel like it didn't
really have anything to do with me and more of
just making her happy on her day.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
Did she ask you to help her?

Speaker 12 (26:39):
I didn't really like think that I needed to contribute
to anything, But she wasn't saying to me that she
needed help. But I could see maybe where she was
upset just because my other friends did help her.

Speaker 7 (26:52):
So you knew they was helping.

Speaker 8 (26:54):
Yeah, so you just went and drank up all the
liquor ate, all the food and ain't putting in nowhere.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
That's a good point.

Speaker 14 (27:02):
Yeah, I guess I did.

Speaker 3 (27:04):
Yeah, accountability girl, maybe you need to apologize then for real,
because you started off I was feeling you, But now
you're telling us you knew everybody was helping and you
just showed up.

Speaker 7 (27:14):
Especially if that's your best friend.

Speaker 12 (27:15):
You know she might be on the some thing, but
you know she didn't get me a present last year,
so I felt like I didn't really need to like
contribute as much.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
Because we can't do tip for tat now in a friendship.
Because if that bothered you last year, just like she
said something to you, now you should have said something
to her, then you're right.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
So did you get her a gift for lice?

Speaker 14 (27:37):
I did?

Speaker 10 (27:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (27:39):
Okay, Laura, well.

Speaker 7 (27:40):
At least you got a gift.

Speaker 8 (27:42):
She an't get you no gift, So maybe y'all eatn it,
or maybe you could take her to eat or do
something just y'all too.

Speaker 7 (27:48):
You know, it's all about communication, you know.

Speaker 3 (27:50):
And then you can also I think later on be
like I do want to say though, because I didn't
want to bring this up during that time, right, you
know you were expressing how you felt.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
I did feel a way that you.

Speaker 8 (28:00):
Ain't give me no def neither. So don't jump down
my thought. You ain't do nothing neither you know.

Speaker 7 (28:08):
Period, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (28:09):
All right, Well, thank you for colling.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Thank you well.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
On that note, what are your expectations from your friends
for your Birthdayella?

Speaker 7 (28:17):
Yes, we know you have a lot of it. I
don't play about my birthday. My birthday.

Speaker 8 (28:22):
I like to celebrate fourteen days, seven days before, seven
days after. It's a national holiday, it's a national double week.
My birthday is very important to me.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
I want to know what are you, guys expectations for
your friends for your birthday. I've had people do amazing
things for me, and then I've had to plan stuff
on my own. But we'll talk about it. Eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty. When it comes to
your birthday, what are your expectations for your friends?

Speaker 4 (28:47):
It's way up?

Speaker 2 (28:48):
This is way up with Angela. Let's go. You are
a media maven, right, you never know what AND's gonna say?

Speaker 3 (28:56):
What'sapp's way up with Angela? Yee, I'm here and tell
us here, that's right. I can't ask ye. Someone called
up and her friend had issues with her not helping
her plan her birthday execute her birthday celebration even though
the other friends did. So our question is what are
your expectations when it comes to your friends on your birthday?

Speaker 4 (29:15):
What would you say, Tella?

Speaker 8 (29:16):
I would say everybody should just go hard for each
other and every way. You know, some people don't got
no money, but it's other things you can do, like
saying up if they helping the party, or just helping
coming up with an idea of something.

Speaker 7 (29:28):
But I expect everybody to just.

Speaker 8 (29:30):
Be their show, surround their whole life around me for
those two weeks.

Speaker 4 (29:35):
And did okay for me. My expectations have changed.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
When I was younger, I always did parties, and it's
a lot of work. Like having a party for your birthday,
I feel like I just worked or the Sometimes in
the middle of it, I'd be like, why did I
do this? You know?

Speaker 4 (29:50):
So having a party is fun.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
Everybody does come out, and I try to make sure
everything is taken care of when they do it.

Speaker 4 (29:55):
I've had some very.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
Epic birthday parties, but I think as of a late
I just want to be more chill. It's so much work,
and then there's always people who didn't get invited, or
people who have an issue, or people want to fly
in and it's just sometimes it's.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
Just too much.

Speaker 3 (30:10):
So what I feel like from me, I feel like
if I have something, no expectations, if you could make it,
if you could make it, If you can't, you can't.
I don't hold the grudge against nobody for it. I
know how busy everybody is as our lives have progressed,
but I appreciate everybody who does show up and do things.
And I've had friends pay for whole birthday dinners. I
had a surprise birthday party with all my friends popped

(30:32):
up and I didn't even know about it until like
right before it happened, So that was nice. Yeah, but
we want to know what your thoughts. What are your
expectations from your friends on your birthday? DESI Ray, what
would you say?

Speaker 10 (30:44):
I feel like my whole girls gotta go hard for me,
because I go hard for my whole girls. I still
live and then dy my birthday around Christmas time, so
if y'all try to make my gifts, it's broken here.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
Okay, listen, my birthday right after Christmas, So I feel
you on that.

Speaker 4 (30:57):
But people do be broke around the holidays.

Speaker 10 (31:00):
Yeah, they didn't know excuse, So I knew the holiday
was coming up with so much ago.

Speaker 7 (31:04):
Okay, should have saved since birth.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
Even with the.

Speaker 10 (31:07):
Kids when they say I can't make it happen next year,
y'all knew y'all kids' birthday was coming up. We all
popped that, so you know, yeah, I can happen.

Speaker 4 (31:14):
All right, that's a very good point. Thank you.

Speaker 10 (31:16):
Yeah, you'll have a good day.

Speaker 9 (31:17):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
So hey Candice, everyone not everyone? Hey girl, So what
are your thoughts about birthday? What are your expectations.

Speaker 5 (31:27):
My expectations is my friends do the same.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
That I do for them.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
Okay, I'm that if I'm gonna.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
Reciprocate for you, you reciprocate for me.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
I don't mean we don't.

Speaker 5 (31:36):
We don't have to vot temper tat with each other.
We really don't because everybody's situation is different. But just
appreciate my day, just like I appreciate your day. So
even a little trinket or a card or just sending
me something silly on my birthday, just know that my
birthday is special to me. So just like I celebrate yours,
I would like you to celebrate mine.

Speaker 3 (31:57):
Okay, Okay, we need some effort, justo.

Speaker 4 (32:02):
Yeah, already, Thank you.

Speaker 14 (32:05):
Thank you. Have a good day lady too.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
All right, well listen y'all see what it is I think, Shella.
You let it be known. Your birthday's a big deal.
You big, You're gonna do it all. Everybody better come out,
the whole city come out. Did you notice if anybody
was gone not there at your party, like people who
were supposed to show up, didn't.

Speaker 7 (32:24):
You know what it was people that didn't show up,
that couldn't get in.

Speaker 8 (32:27):
And I was so mad, well at that party, right
so I was disappointed about that. But they tried to
but that wasn't on me. It was just the security
was tripping.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
All right.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
Well, listen when we come back, you guys for everything
we talked about today.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
You know this is your show. So you have the
last bird. It's way up.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
Take up the phone to get your voice heard. What
the word he is? The last word on way up
with Angela? Ye, what's up?

Speaker 4 (32:53):
Its way up at Angela?

Speaker 3 (32:54):
Yee, I'm here, my girl, Teller h is here, Hey, Tela, Tella.
I like when you come into town from we have
a good time me too. We're actually gonna go see
Smile too tomorrow. And when I tell you, I am
so excited for that. And I know during horror movies
you get particularly scared.

Speaker 7 (33:10):
Oh yeah, I don't watch horror horror movies.

Speaker 4 (33:12):
Well tomorrow you are you watching a horror movie.

Speaker 7 (33:15):
Horror?

Speaker 3 (33:18):
Yes, but I'm thinking to everybody who calls in today,
everybody who listened today, Happy Monday again, and of course
this is your show, so you have the last word.

Speaker 13 (33:27):
