Okay, well, okay, Camille Rolls helped out though well. Shout
out to the founder of Camille Roe Janelle.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
I actually met her like years ago when she was
when the brand was fairly new, and she actually developed
it because her kids had ezema. She has five kids,
and she couldn't find any products on the market that
would be helpful and beneficial for her kids. You know
a lot of times you have ingredients that are not natural.
So that's how it all started. And that's a natural,
organic way to start a business. You're looking for something

(02:21):
for your own kids, so we can trust. And your
daughter uses.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
It, Yeah, she does, she does. She's seven, she uses it.
But my son has a lot of hair too, and
he's one, and it's good for his hair too. See well,
we love to hear that, and it smells good. So
this is a guava line. You know, I'm half Caribbeans,
so we love guava. Yeah, exactly, how like? And Meyer
is still I had out last night. Mayer is still popping.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Yeah, girls, listen, I didn't wrap my hair. I didn't

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Hey, Maggie, how are you? Who do you want to
shine a light on?

Speaker 8 (02:56):
I'm good. I just want to shine a light on myself.
No young and just taking the steps I gotta take
better myself and mother go in the shelter and hopefully
after this I'll be able to have my own house.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Oh okay, you're going into a shelter right now. Are
you working?

Speaker 8 (03:11):
Yes, I am working. I got a little side job.
It's the cart a little bit alfully music. I'm a musician.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
All right.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Well listen, best of luck to you, Mackie, and we're
shining a lot on you. You're doing what you gotta
do to hold it down. I am wishing you the
most blessings ever and that I feel like everything's gonna work.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Out for you.

Speaker 8 (03:27):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
All right, thank you Mackie for calling already, have a
go on you too. All right, Well that was shining
light eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty If
you couldn't get through and leave a message, and we'll
play it for last word, and when we come back,
let's talk about Claressa Shills. She went on Jamil Hill's
podcast and talked about possibly wanting to fight remy Ma.

(03:49):
But it's not over Pepoo's. It's not for what you think.
All right, we'll tell you about it. It's way up,
just like.

Speaker 9 (03:56):
The talk like they Angela Jean, like they Angeli.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
Jee's feeling it all this is yat well.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yes, it's way up with Angela. Yee, I'm here with
my girl, Jojo Alonzo. May sure you follow her?

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Okay, underscore Jojo Alonso.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
If you're not already, let's get into some yut So
Clarissa Shills She's going to be on Jamil Hill's podcast
and this teuser clip has been going crazy and you know,
by the way, I just want to point this out
one more time. Her movie is coming out on Christmas
Day in theaters. Yeah, so make sure y'all check that out.
But here's what you have to say as far as
whether or not she would fight remy Ma.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
How much money would it take for you to jump
in the ring with remy Ma?

Speaker 9 (04:37):
Me?

Speaker 10 (04:37):
At this point the girl leading one number, So at
this point you can give me a dollar and I'll
put my angle her.

Speaker 5 (04:43):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Don't have nothing to do with whatever else.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
It's just that part alone.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I'm a businesswoman. Don't leak my number.

Speaker 10 (04:50):
So people like, oh, she wants to fight fight her
over do what stop eat?

Speaker 2 (04:56):
That is so beneath me? Well she and to be fair,
that is annoying to have your phone number.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Leaked, No anything personal leaked, is like what why would
you do that?

Speaker 3 (05:06):
But and I follow Clarissa Shields, so I saw she
put it's not hard to see which women are girls.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Girls.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Go down their social media and it'll tell you if
a female only has picked it herself, she's a mean girl.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
A girl's girl has.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Picks with plenty of other women, a woman who celebrates
other women as a blessed woman.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
So is she saying she's a girl's girl? And Remy
Mall's not, like, what does she No?

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I just was pointing out that she said this.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
I think it's probably also about other people weighing in
on the situation because I know she's been getting a
lot of flak. And I actually when you watch her
movie and see her whole life story, because I saw
the fire inside, it's amazing, like where she came from
in Flint, Michigan, how she started boxing, what she went
through in her family, all of those things to become
the starter she is today. Because when it comes to boxing,

(05:50):
she has the most like she's broken the most records
male or female.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Yeah, and she's the one.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
So I do want to say that, So be paying
attention to all of that all right, Now, another person
who is it feels like making his comeback is Jonathan Majors.
So he's in a new movie. Now, let's be clear,
Jonathan Majors was quite canceled. Yeah, he was at the
top of his game and then a lot of people

(06:18):
were not messing with him. After his conviction, he was
dropped by Marvel as King the Conqueror. He was dropped
from his role as Dennis Rodman in Forty eight Hours
in Vegas. He hasn't booked any major films since then,
besides an indie film called Merciless. But now he has
magazine Dreams where he's Killian Maddox, an amateur bodybuilder obsessed

(06:39):
with achieving greatness. And here's what he had to say,
because he's done this with Lemmy from Zeus.

Speaker 6 (06:45):
The work that went into it was the Ancestors with President.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
It is a piece of art in a piece of
cinema that I think we needed right as an industry
and as a culture.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
It's our most proud So they I'm most proud of Well,
he said he's the most proud of us.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
He's the most proud.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Is he most proud because like he's finally back in it,
Like is that why he's most proud?

Speaker 3 (07:11):
And he's also imagined like you were so celebrated by
a brand and then something happens and they drop you. Yeah,
it kind of makes you feel like, man, f these people, right,
but this.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Is like, oh, I'm back in there, so I can
see why he feels like that, you know.

Speaker 5 (07:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Yeah, and he's engaged in Megan good life ain't all bad?

Speaker 4 (07:27):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Hello, all right, well that is your yut. When we
come back, we have under the radar. These are the
stories that are not necessarily in the headlines. They are
flying under the radar, but you definitely need to know
about them anyway. One thing we are going to talk
about is Joe Biden's student loan relief. Some people are
mad because they paid off their student loans already.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Is he gonna do it? Because I'm sicking hearing it?
Mine are still there? All right, Well we'll find out
under the radar. It's way up this in the.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
News that relates to you. These stories are flying under
the radar.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
All right, Hey, it's way up at Angela. Yee, I'm
here Jojo Alonzo's here guests hosted with me today fresh
off of jingle Ball in Atlanta, Okay, and it was
a vibe all right, Well, let's get to these under
the radar stories. Joe Biden's administration is announcing today another
four point twenty eight billion dollars in student loan relief,
and that is going to be for nearly fifty five

(08:20):
thousand public service workers. It'll bring total loan forgiveness by
the Biden administration to about one hundred and eighty billion
dollars for nearly five million Americans.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Yeah, I'm out of hearing it because I minor, I
ain't been forgiven enough.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
You should go work.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
You got to be a public service worker if you
want to get this one. But we'll find out more
information on this. And by the way, they're talking about
a possible government shut down today, so we'll see what's
going to happen with that after this Trump back bill
has failed. Now, Donald Trump himself has said Friday morning today,

(08:57):
if there has to be a government shutdown, he wanted
to happen while Joe Biden is president.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
Well, a dull, I'm sure he will say that.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
All right.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Well, they did feel yesterday to pass this new Donald
Trump back to proposal to fund the government into March.
And so that's why they're saying midnight could potentially be
a shutdown.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
And what's gonna happen with that? What all does that entail?

Speaker 3 (09:18):
I think it's just gonna make it really hard for
all of us. And you know what, I feel like,
there's always a potential government shut down. This keeps on happening,
and then they always do like some emergency type of
thing to you know.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Don't take all the toilet paper in the paper towels.
Don't go crazy, leave us alone, all right.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
The FDA is ruling on limits of what foods can
be labeled healthy on packaging.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
What does healthy even mean?

Speaker 3 (09:40):
They said, fortified white bread is out, fatty fish like
salmon is in, and most everything in the produce section,
whole fruits and vegetables will qualify under this new rule.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Other nutrient rich.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Foods like whole grains, dairy, eggs, beans, lentils, seafood, lean meat, nuts,
and seeds also pass the test as long as they
have a very limited amount of added sugar, salt, and
saturated fats.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
I honestly don't even believe any of those things are
going to be healthy.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Listen, and we always say this, one thing is to
read those labels.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
See what's on the label.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
If there's all kinds of uh, if you see like
fifty ingredients, probably not healthy.

Speaker 7 (10:14):
Right.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
But when you see certain things like if it has
a limited amount of ingredients, if you can pronounce the
ingredients and you know what it is, that's my rule.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
I don't think any of it is going to be healthy.
Its just needs to say one thing green beans.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Right, that's it.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
Right.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Well, that's why I produce is going to be considered
healthy because what's added to that. But sometimes a lot
of people believe they're doing healthy things like with these
press juices or whatever, and they don't see all of
the added ingredients that they put in there to preserve
it for longer.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
So you know, like when you go to the store
and it's like organic and then it's not organ what's
the difference, Like one's healthy ones not.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Like it's very deceptive.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
That's why they're trying to make sure they, you know,
make knocked down on that because a lot of times
you think you're doing something right and you're not. And lastly,
I want to say I told you if you didn't
get those holiday gifts, you should order for pickup because
right now, nearly nine thousand Amazon workers have hit the
picket line in a labor dispute that could lead to
delays and the delivery of holiday gifts right before Christmas.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
No, that is.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
The time, though, to be asking for what you need,
because we need y'all to go to work.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
So no, literally, they better figure this out for real,
because I need I need my packages.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
All right, Well, that is you're under the radar now, Jojo.
You haven't had a chance to do tell us the secrets.
That's when our listeners call us up. It's no judgment,
So no matter what they say, it's okay with us.
We've all been there, done that. We know what it
feels like to be judged, so we're not going to
judge you. You call us up, tell us your secrets, air
out your dirty laundry yourself. Eight hundred two ninety two

(11:43):
fifty one fifty.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Call us up.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Tell us a secret. That's eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty. Y'all, this is the craziest segment. So
let's go out until the Friday before Christmas would have banged.
I've a joint dirtiest, deepest, darkest secrets. Eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty Call us up. Hell, it's
a secret.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
This is a judgment free zone.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
Tell us a secret.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (12:06):
It's way up for the Angela. Yee, I'm here with
my girl, Jojo, Alonzo and Atlanta.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
What's up?

Speaker 7 (12:11):
Guy?

Speaker 3 (12:11):
And this is her first time doing tell us a secret? Okay,
So make sure y'all you know, go all the way
in today.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
All right?

Speaker 3 (12:18):
So this is our deepest, darkest secrets, and listen. Sometimes
it's just a little fun thing that nobody knows. You
heard Jojo say that she likes her ears vibrating.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Yes's weird, but I do.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
I do, but eight hundred fifty Hey, anonymous color, what's
your secret?

Speaker 11 (12:33):
So I take a shower right with three gallons of milk,
a dove body wash of cucumbers.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
That's a lot of milk. And milk is expensive.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
Milk is expensive. You do this how many times a day?

Speaker 7 (12:45):
At least three?

Speaker 11 (12:46):
Three or four? Now?

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Why is that?

Speaker 11 (12:49):
Because of the job that I do requires me to
do it. I work with animals, the three skunk.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Oh, so what is that?

Speaker 4 (12:57):
Joe takes the distinch away, takes a situation. Your house
probably stinky.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
That's expensive.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
I want to know what your skin feels like, though,
I mean.

Speaker 11 (13:09):
My steel its blowing.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Do you kind of stink most of the time?

Speaker 11 (13:14):
No, not really as much. It depends on how hard
are scrub.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Okay, is it hard for you to date?

Speaker 11 (13:22):
No?

Speaker 7 (13:23):
Definitely not.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
It probably will be when you're telling me work with skunks.

Speaker 11 (13:29):
Yeah, I mean a lot of people know, a lot
of people know my job, so.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
So they get it.

Speaker 7 (13:34):
They know.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Okay, Well, we appreciate your service. That's not an easy job.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
To do, because not at all.

Speaker 11 (13:44):
So much.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
Thank you for calling and thank you for taking up
hay anonymous color, what's up?

Speaker 4 (13:53):
How you doing?

Speaker 2 (13:54):
You want to tell me? And Jojo Alonza a secret,
no judgment.

Speaker 12 (13:58):
So to use a bad from and the toilet wasn't working,
so I had to want using her sink and shoving
it down the pipe, and I never went back to there.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
So what you pooped in the sink?

Speaker 4 (14:11):
What I had to do? How was that process? Did
you hike yourself up on the on the counter?

Speaker 11 (14:16):
Yep?

Speaker 12 (14:16):
I hiked myself up and I used the bathroom and
never went back.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
How does the poop go down the s Yeah? She
said she shoved it, never with her with her plunger.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Oh my gosh, you know what I would have did
if I was you, I would probably just still pooped
in the toilet and then shoved it down the toilet.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
Instead, you had a plunger, so like why she plunged
the toilet or the trash can or a bag or something.
You got it right there.

Speaker 7 (14:42):
Now.

Speaker 11 (14:43):
Look, look, I didn't like that that much.

Speaker 4 (14:45):
I do all that.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
I knew that dropped the left because I feel like
the sink is probably a lot more work, yeah, than
doing anything else.

Speaker 12 (14:52):
You have a lot of work.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
You did the right thing by not going back, because
if you did, and you did it in my house.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
You he's got some good knees. You must got some
good knees though, I'll tell you that.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
Okay, no, because you sings.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
But thank you for me and I like my saying.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
Right, you're dangerous. He can't invite you on no one.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Thank you for calling though.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Let me you YouTube, all right, Well that was tell
us a secret eight hundred two nine two fifty one
fifty And if you couldn't get through, leave a message
and tell us a secret that way, And when we
come back, we have your yee tea, and let's talk
about little Dirk. They're saying that he allegedly has not
been following the rules while behind bars awaiting trial. We'll
tell you what is being said now.

Speaker 5 (15:41):
It's wait, shure, she's about to blow the lid ab
off this spot.

Speaker 4 (15:53):
Let's get it.

Speaker 5 (15:54):
Oh yeah, Angelus feeling that yee tea, Come and get
the tea.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
All right?

Speaker 3 (15:58):
His way up at the adela yee. I'm here with
Jojo Alonzo. Hey here in Atlanta. And speaking of Atlanta
and Yu t Tyreet is getting ready for his big
birthday bash. Now, Jojo and I are both capricorns, and
Tyree is a big capricorn as well.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
I mean, oh yay, here's what he said.

Speaker 6 (16:17):
It's true.

Speaker 5 (16:19):
Atl We're going big this Seinembar twenty eighth Monticello, celebrating
my birthday.

Speaker 7 (16:26):
We're going big.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
We outside, no Montgello. Where's that? That's a I don't know.
I have no idea what that is Monticello.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
We're in Atlanta right now. That's why I'm like, what's
going on?

Speaker 8 (16:43):
We don't know.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
I have no idea, but I am not outside at
Monticello all right.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Well, speaking of Atlanta future, and clearly this man has
a lot of money. But imagine wearing two or three
different pairs of sneakers a day, but not just wearing them,
but like purchasing these sneakers and then.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Just getting rid of them. I guess here's what he said.

Speaker 7 (17:04):
Fresh air Force ones. He's what I keep just in
case I get the first pair of dirty that'll put
on in the day to just change your money sometimes
two to three peroud day.

Speaker 6 (17:14):
Always keep a fresh pad.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
I mean I can go. I can go for that.
I know a lot of dudes who do that. My
thing is is where are you day a day? Is crazy?
But like what does his day? You know, entail, like
what are you doing? How much walking are you doing?
You know, like one scuff is like okay, I need
a new pair.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
You know what's interesting because I will wear my sneakers
out they look so it's so funny how like Golden
Goose has sneakers that look used and worn out. People
buy dose, But then y'all want fresh air Force ones
all the time.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Because they forces is different. It's crasty.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
Why scuffed up?

Speaker 4 (17:50):
Yeah? Mine too, but the forces. You can't have your
forces scuffed though, because then somebody gonna really say something to.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
You, and it's impossible to keep them like fresh.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
Well, hopefully he's donating those the ones that he's not using,
because I think somebody would love to have them old
Future air Force.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
And then they gonna end up on ebayse someone.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
All right, now, let's talk about Drew Ski.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
He did this new skit, and this skit went crazy,
I mean, thirty million views, and it appears, even though
he didn't name them, that he's poking fun at the
host of the Fresh and Fit podcast. And when I
tell you, it is hilarious because that podcast is definitely
known for being misogynistic, saying terrible things about women, bragging

(18:30):
about their money, things like that. And that's only from
the clips I've seen. I have never actually watched it. Well, anyway,
here is what drewski skit sounded like.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
She got to cook clean shut exactly.

Speaker 11 (18:44):
We off that fifty fifty off that.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Old your head up, king your crown was fall Okay.

Speaker 4 (18:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
He also posted with it, dudes think that money can
unlame them and he put like a laughing crying emoji.
So he did this whole thing just being misogynistic, talking
about women having zero rights things like that. Well, of
course they did not take too kindly. Did this because
it went so viral and everybody was laughing at it.
So host Myron actually got upset and did exactly what

(19:14):
Drewski made fun of them for, went after Ruby Rose.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
All right, here's what he said, and.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
Drewski made a video on us that you're too much
of a character even come on our show because of
your sponsors and brands.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
But you want to sit here. We're giving people real advice.
I mean, if you took her advice, you wouldn't have
wiped up Ruby Rose.

Speaker 11 (19:32):
That's a big now over here promoting this big thought.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
What did Ruby Rose have to do with anything?

Speaker 3 (19:39):
That is exactly what Juski was making fun of them
for in his kids saying misogynistic, disgusting thing.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
That's literally what it was. And then yeah, why would
you bring Ruby Rose in this? And then you say
wife up? Even wife her. She's not wifed, so that's what.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Yeah, well she dated Juskie.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
But then she said it was all like for TikTok
and yeah, but and FYI, you can't tell me that
if he had an opportunity with Ruby Rose exactly, I
don't we.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
Were talking about this. I don't know who would he
even who who was even trying to who's in your DMS,
who's trying to at you like it's given very much? Mad?

Speaker 3 (20:16):
All right, well that is your Yet when we come back,
we have about last night.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
We're still recovering.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
We just went and got some smoothies to try to recharge.
But you were outside until one am at jingle Ball.
I kind of dipped out a little before that. But
we'll talk about the amazing jingle Ball concert that happened
last night. We got a chance to see Sexy rag Glow. Really,
we'll tell you all about its way up.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
So about last night, Yes.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Went down, Yes, it's way up at Angela yee. I'm
here with my girl Jojo Alonzo. Hey, y'all, and it's
time for about last night now here in Atlanta. Jingle
Ball was last night, the big concert. It was a
fun end of the year, holiday feeling type of thing.
SAWETI was in the spirit, Sexy Red was in the spirit.

(21:03):
Tanashi had on her green, definitely was in the spirit.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
Low Religion had her little two piece of Missus Claus
outfit going on.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
It's a nice vibe.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
I want to say this too, because I introduced Sexy
Red and I know Jojo you was working all night.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
You got there what time? Four woof Yeah and you
said till one am?

Speaker 4 (21:23):
Yes, tie tie. But it was a time though.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
It was It was fun and I do want to
say this, the crowd in Atlanta is out of every
place I go to, like for concerts.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
It is insane. Yeah, they go crazy.

Speaker 8 (21:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
Well, and it was a sod out show. And we
also had a tribute to Richoni Kwant that took over
the entire stadium, like you could feel that energy, his energy.
Everybody's lights were on like that was that was my
best That was the best moment of the night for me.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Yeah, that was absolutely amazing.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
And Camille Rose they also spontor it and they had
a beautiful sweet where people were coming up there and
when I tell you the Camille Rose activations throughout the
entire arena at the State Farm Arena, it was beautiful.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
Oh yeah, for sure it was. It was put together
very well. And they had haircare products they were giving
away as well, So.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
I'm at not samples, No, it was like full on
haircare products, like the full I was like, this is amazing, right,
get me a gift bag.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
Okay, you a couple of.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
That and Before I came there, though, I went to
go eat at Nagrill Atlanta. So that restaurant just opened.
It's actually right down the block from the station. Shout
out to my girl Melissa, who is over there overseeing everything.
When I tell you that food I ate, I'm disgusted
at myself after this, Like, yes, I purposely didn't eat

(22:46):
earlier today because I knew I was going there. So
I was like, all right, I'm not going to eat
too much. I'm gonna wait till I go here. And
when I tell you I went there, I had curry chicken.
They had these I'm such a greedy girl. Kyla green
egg rolls.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
Oh that's oh, that sounds so good.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
I like that.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
You like food, Like, yeah, I do. I'm a foodie.
I'm a food well you know you in Atlanta. You
gotta eat.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
My friend Nicole, she had the coconut curry Bronzino. I
taste seafood. Oh okay, I just look at it, oh
and look good. Yeah, So you know, shout out to them,
and I know I would saying everything around here revolves
around food. So toast Toast in Lennox is always like
a musk stop for me.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
When I'm here too.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
For sure, my girl Jji Maguire is cooking for us.
I'm like, okay, I go eating too much.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Take it easy. I'm you know, I disguise it as
me being polite.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
Okay, I would disguise it as being polite too.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
If I give you some food, all right, Well, we're
gonna go eat after this. But in the meantime, the
way it mixed at the top of the hour on
a Friday, we love that. It's also a new music Friday.
And Jojo and I are gonna give you our favorite things,
all right, if Oprah can do what we can to.
We're gonna talk about some things that you could be
gifting for the holidays or some things that we would
also love to get, all right, And Jojo, don't go.

Speaker 4 (23:54):
Overboard, Okay, I'm not. I'm gonna try on a budget.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
All right.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
It's way up with the Angelue.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
Just like the talk like they Angela Jean, like they
Angela Jean.

Speaker 5 (24:04):
She's it all this is yeat.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Well all right, this way yep. But the Angela yee.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
It's me and Jojo Alonzo with her. And let's get
into some yet Earlier, we were talking about little Dirk,
and now they're saying that he's breaking some of the
rules behind bars. He did try to get out on bond,
so they denied that. But now they're saying that he's
making three way calls and he's not allowed to do that.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Oh, I mean I get it, like you you locked up,
you in jail right now and you need to be
walking on eggs shells.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
But a three way call, Yeah, I didn't know you
couldn't do that. Yeah, I didn't know you couldn't do
You know how many people have called me three way
from jail?

Speaker 7 (24:43):
No?

Speaker 4 (24:44):
Literally, like what if they don't know the number? They
don't remember the numbers, so like, can you call somebody
for me? Is that is that? Elee?

Speaker 3 (24:52):
I mean, I guess they told him he couldn't do it,
I would say, because I think I yeah, you've gotten some.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
Too, you know how we get down?

Speaker 7 (24:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (24:59):
Yeah, yeah, nah, Yeah, that's crazy.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
But let's talk about Lizo for a second. She did
an interview with Kiki Palmer for a baby. This is
Kiki Palmer her podcast, and I like that podcast too,
by the way, because KICKI Palma gets people to feel comfortable.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
Yeah, she does, you know, to open up.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
And she broke her silence on these lawsuits, these sexual
harassment lawsuits that I feel like really made her retreat
into her shell and not want to do anything for
quite some time.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
And here's what she said.

Speaker 9 (25:29):
That period of my life was very dark because of
the feeling of betrayal.

Speaker 4 (25:35):
Not because I was like, oh my god, like I
did something wrong.

Speaker 9 (25:38):
It was like no, like the wind was knocked out
of me by people that I cared about. A little
bit of my innocence is gone and a little bit
of my free spirit is gone because that kind of
like mass betrayal is it's hard for any person to take.

Speaker 6 (25:54):
Well.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
I saw her with Kay Sanat and I'm Sizza, so
that was cute.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
Yeah, she's coming back outside and I was just saying, like,
I completely forgot about this lawsuit.

Speaker 3 (26:06):
But you know how it is, like you as soon
as you post something to do something, here come a
bunch of people like, yeah, but that's why you was
x Y and Z I say this. I interviewed Lizzo
for south By Southwest. She did the keynote and I
did a fireside chat with her, and the people in
the comments were so nasty. And this was before these allegations,
but just like body shaming has doing all, I honestly

(26:28):
was like, this is insane.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
How nasty people are they are They are nasty. They
are always trying to talk about somebody or bring somebody down.
So she did go way for a while. Ye, Like
we didn't see Lizo for a minute. We're just now
seeing her. But I do see that. Well, some of
the claims have been dismissed. Yeah, but it's crazy because
these things sexual harassment lawsuits alleged are not only happening

(26:53):
to men, but they're happening to women as well. Like
all of these allegations.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
Yeah, but you know what, some of them be true,
So do all right now, Spotify is responding to Drake's
UMG legal action, and yes, this new filing is the
first response to this petition that was filed last month
where Drake accused UMG and Spotify of an illegal scheme
involving bot's payola and also pumping up Kendrick Lamar not

(27:18):
like a song, a song that was attacking Drake. And
they're saying they found zero evidence to support the claims
of a bot attack and they have flatly denied that
they struck any deal with UMG to support that song.

Speaker 4 (27:30):
Drake you lost give it up.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
Well, they're just responding.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
I think the whole thing is complicated, and it can
also really have a long lasting effect because I was
thinking about like the different playlists and how people could
pay to be on playlist and how certain songs stream
so much because they're on those playlists and it pumps
it up.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
But I don't know if that was the case with this.

Speaker 4 (27:50):
I was gonna say, let's just be honest.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
After this lawsuit, it made his dreams go up even.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
More, I'm sure. But the song is a good it's
a great song.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
I mean DJ's with playing it and people were requesting it.
People were doing their own conditions of it.

Speaker 4 (28:04):
Yeah, And then at the time you hear you got
to understand like people were waiting anxiously, waiting for each
one of them to drop something. So it wasn't that
we weren't paying attention. We were right there. We were
right there literally, So.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Maybe the song of the year, well, that is your
yee team, and when we come back, we have new
music because it is a new music Friday. We were
sitting here waiting to see what was gonna happen with Sissa,
but we'll discuss that in New Music Friday.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
It's way up, isn't.

Speaker 5 (28:33):
This is fresh out of the studio five. It's New
Music Friday. A way up with Angela yee.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
All right, it's way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
I'm here of course, my girl jo Jo Alonzo always
here with me today.

Speaker 4 (28:44):
What's up? What's up?

Speaker 3 (28:46):
And we got some new music for you guys. Now,
we were waiting for this Sissa new album Lana the
expanded edition of so Os to come, but she's still
tweaking it, so we'll see what's gonna happen with that
in the meantime.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
Drive is a new song from the album.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
She teases on Tuesday with a clip where Ben Stiller
is lip syncing while driving in SUV. So the full
video is actually out today with Ben Stiller and that
as well. So we're still staying tuned for the full release.
But here is sis a Drive.

Speaker 4 (29:20):
Drive just shunning in mi head, right all right, Sis,
sister can't do no wrong.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
He's staying tuned, yeah for sure, all right now.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
J Cole twenty fourteen Forest Hills Drive Deluxe. There's eight
new songs and here is Winter Wonderland turn on.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
The television is another Ahama saved.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
This timer was around of way down the street and
my mother saved when my brother's age.

Speaker 6 (29:49):
School with him over plus with him.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
He was cool with him.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
All right, Okay, we like that.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
I like that. I love j Cole though he's definitely
a storyteller when he raps it. We don't get that
a lot right too often, so I appreciate that from him.
All right.

Speaker 3 (30:03):
Now, g Herbal put out his mixtape Greatest Rapper Alive,
but he put it out through his g Herbal app,
and then he also put out an official video for
rock Block. It's a sixteen track project, by the way,
which is a nod to the early two thousands mixtape era.
So shout out to g Herbal. Emerly Chapa sluffing season,

(30:23):
what is sluffing?

Speaker 4 (30:24):
I don't know what that means. I'm sorry. I'm still
stuck on the fact that g Herbal app.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
I mean, I'm not mad at it though, because if
you can start making sure that you get people's information,
I kind of feel like that's what that's for, right,
is to be able to get compiled that that's valuable,
That's more valuable than anything. Having like your fans that
can always tap in and have an access to them.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
Okay, so you know, and.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
I'm sure we'll see it out on streaming services as well.
I feel like, all right now, Emerly Chappa put out
a new single, Don't walk Away, and I don't think
so Lef and season jop though, and then Mazie and
Kaylen for real for real put out Lucky Her.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Now as far as.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
Singles, Gunna has some new new music.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Can I say, Can I say? God? Damn? Here it is?

Speaker 7 (31:13):
Say, y'all is see I tie it out to re forty.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
You might type up free why are we now recording? Okay, Ghanna.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
One thing about gun he gonna be in the studio.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
And I listen, he's doing like I've been saying, is
do it the right way. Just keep your head down,
keep working, don't worry about what nobody gotta say, keep
on selling out these shows, headlining all right well again,
burn A boy T, Grizzly and Flow Milly have a
new song out together. I d K has a new
song out Rob four nine. So you know, it's a Friday.
Make sure y'all listen to all this new music and

(31:44):
check back in with us.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
But when we come back. We have asked ye.

Speaker 3 (31:48):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is a
number any question you have. I'm here with my girl
Jojo Alonzo, and We're gonna definitely help you out. That's
eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Call us up. It's ask ye next, it's way okay.

Speaker 5 (32:00):
Everybody sens whether it's relationship with career advice, Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
What's up? Its way up with Angela?

Speaker 1 (32:09):
Yee.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
I'm here, my girl Jojo Alonzo is here with me today. Hey, hey,
and we are getting ready for ask ye. And today
we have Tyra on the line. What's u, Tyra?

Speaker 6 (32:18):
And so a lot of people have told me that
I am known to play victim in a situation that
I create. At first, I didn't see what they meant.
But now I'm starting to come to terms with what
I do. So now I'm wondering how do I move
forward with my mistake and do better?

Speaker 3 (32:38):
Well, that was a good first step, yeah, Tyra, that
you just even can acknowledge that because a lot of
people will continue their life and die and never have
corrected their behavior. And I think one of the first
things you could do is take some accountability with the
people who have said this to you and let.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
Them know you were right. And it was a long way.

Speaker 4 (32:58):
And I think you're a strong person. You're calling asking
like what you should do? You you should do exactly
what you're doing right now, because it takes a strong
person to take accountability. There are so many people out
here that don't take accountability for nothing that they do,
and the fact that you're already doing that, I say,
just keep continue to do that and don't let people

(33:18):
judge you based off of what you've done.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
What you did, they're all evolving and grown.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
Well, I thought like since I did that, I didn't
deserve like friends or relationship because of what I've done.
And I thought it was a little too late to
repair because I am thirty one?

Speaker 4 (33:35):
Is it that bad?

Speaker 7 (33:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (33:36):
What did you do?

Speaker 9 (33:38):
So?

Speaker 6 (33:39):
I was dealing with somebody and then I found out
he had a baby on the way and he didn't
tell me, so I was upset about it, but I
still continue to deal with him. So that's where I
take the blame.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
Do you want to acknowledge to him, like, look, I
did find this out, and while what you might have done,
I feel a way about, but I accepted it and
continue to stay with you, And that's on me, and
I just want to acknowledge that. Yeah, I would appreciate
if somebody came to me and told me something that
happened in the past that doesn't happen often that people

(34:13):
come and say, you know what, I also was wrong. Yeah,
even though it may not repair things to the point
where y'all are. I don't know if you're trying to
get back with him or what it is, but at
least it's something that you let it go.

Speaker 4 (34:26):
And I don't think you should feel bad about that.
Somebody stepped out on you and had a baby. Is
that what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
Yeah, and you agreed to but she kept staying with him.
But that's a choice.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
That is a choice. That is a choice. But at
the same time, you have feelings and they were hurt,
and you deserve some grace that may need to be
feeling bad with.

Speaker 3 (34:47):
We're good, well, Tyra, I love you going into the
new year like this. Yeah, all right, we're with you,
but you are not a victim. All right, thank you
for calling.

Speaker 6 (34:59):
Thank you right well?

Speaker 3 (35:00):
That was ask yee eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
Well, when we come back, we're going.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
To talk about our favorite things. Oprah does it me
and Jojo could do it too, thank you. Right, But
the holidays are coming up, so we're going to talk
about our favorite things, gifts that we would like to give,
gifts that we would like to receive. Jojo, be reasonable, okay,
go be in here talking about no Rose Royce. Okay,
all right, but we're gonna talk about it when we
come back, and definitely hit us at way up with

(35:25):
ye and let us know yours as well.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
All right, it's way up ye yeees. But you'a all
being waiting.

Speaker 5 (35:31):
For Oh you're tapped in the way up with Angela yee?

Speaker 2 (35:35):
What's up? His way up with Angela? Yee.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
I'm here, Jojo Alonzo is here with me today. Hey, hey,
and we have some of our favorite things that we
want to talk about today that could be potential gifts,
because I know some of y'all, like us, waited till
the last minutes about these gifts for sure. So you
could set it off. You give one and then I'll
give one. We'll go back and forth, okay, okay.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
So I'm gonna say I'm into pajamas now, like matching pajamas. Yeah, set,
because I'm a T shirt. We're kind of but I'm
trying to, you know, get my little sexy on.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
There's nothing like being at home feeling luxurious in your
cute pajamas.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
All right.

Speaker 3 (36:08):
A wine subscription, so not just a battle, but also
like maybe an annual subscription so that every month you
get like different wines.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
It'll help you educate on that. That would be cute
since you like being at home and your pajama's drinking
your wine.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
Oh yeah, that's a good gift right there. Okay, okay, okay,
I'm gonna say a juicer Ooh.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
I like that.

Speaker 4 (36:27):
Yeah, I need to I need to be a little
I'm trying to get more healthy in twenty twenty five.
I'm not going to crowd the gym like everybody because
I ain't even in the gym. But a juicer I
think I need to start.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
Okay, right, And speaking of being why are we at
home so much?

Speaker 2 (36:40):
Plants?

Speaker 3 (36:40):
I think a plant is a great gift, and plants
that are very easy to maintain, but plants add a
lot to the home. Yeah, and it's also good for
like your breathing and all of that. So I think
that's a great gift.

Speaker 4 (36:50):
Plant is it is, But it's just sometimes you know,
people don't know how to take care of the planets.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
That's why I say easy to maintain.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
Okay, so where you only got they have these plants
that kind of water themselves. You put the watering in
in every month, just have to add the water to
the little side.

Speaker 9 (37:01):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (37:02):
Yeah, that's cute. That's cute. You're gonna get another easy
plants okay, yes, okay, we just like to stay at home.
Another one is a throw a throw like a for
the couch, like a nice comfy one and a cute one.
A cute one, and it's comfortable. It feels real good.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
Little Gucci.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
It doesn't have to be MASONI, you know whatever. The
Dycon hair dryer set, Okay, that's a splurge, I want
to say that. But Alta Beauty has a great dycing
hair dryer sets. And that's something that maybe somebody wouldn't
buy for themselves, but you would gift it to them
because and they'll appreciate it so much. Gifts we're just

(37:42):
giving y'all some things and anything like from massagying. You know,
they have the Thera gun, so I got that from
my dad and he loves it.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
But they have all kinds of them.

Speaker 3 (37:50):
They have smart goggles that are about like when you
go to bed, you put these goggles on and it
helped with eye stream and your temples and so being
able to lay down and relax with these their body
smart goggles. So I have all kinds of things. And
I know earlier you said.

Speaker 4 (38:04):
A journal a journal was good. People definitely need to
start journaling. It's helpful. And anything that's personalized, you know,
that has some thought into it perfect. So it could
be something really small, but if it's something if it's
like it has my name on it or my kids
name or something, oh my gosh, you thought about me. Yes,
it's nice.

Speaker 13 (38:23):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (38:23):
And I also for tech people, they have a Rocket book,
so it's basically a smart notebook and you can keep
on reusing it. The pages are reusable, and they said
it's easy to clean, so it has a micro fibercloth
to clean and everything. So I don't know, just an idea.
Some people like tech stuff, some people don't. So just
make sure you know the main thing is who are
you buying a gift for and what would they appreciate?

Speaker 4 (38:45):
Just give me paper and pin okay, even my job school.

Speaker 3 (38:48):
Just give me my pajamas, my paper and pens, and
my cover and your air fryer exactly. All right, Well
that is just some ideas. I know it's the last minute.
It's a Friday before Christmas, but we want to help out.
That's what we do, all right, when we come back,
you guys, this show is all about you.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
So we have the last word. It's way ups.

Speaker 5 (39:05):

Speaker 3 (39:14):

that they're giving away, amazing.

Speaker 2 (39:51):

Speaker 3 (39:52):
With their guns TVs, I mean the gun, I don't
want to tell y'all. But when I say y'all need
to be there. They got the electric bikes, all of that,
and that's going to be at the Boys and Girls
Club in Brooklyn, two forty Nasa Street. I'm opposed to, Well,

light on my wife. We recently relocated here, moved outside
of Nashville, and we moved here for her job. In
her job had to cut budget, so she was the
first one to get fired there. But just want to
just tell her to continue pushing our guide us until
God has prevailed and put her back in her position

(40:52):
