Speaker 2 (01:09):
They have actually created an AI chat tool. It's a
generative AI model called spark Plug. They recently got one
point four million dollars in funding from TD Bank, Salesforce,
the Government of Canada, and Foundation for Black Communities and
NBA Canada. So this invention comes from Tamar Huggins and
her thirteen year old daughter Talia Grants. It offers an
(01:31):
equitable alternative to mainstream AI platforms. The initial output focuses
on diverse audiences. So they said they want to build
a technological product that stands on the foundation of the
ancestors who reflect the communities that are often intentionally left
out of the design process, and to create a voice
using the vessel of their descendant. So shout out to
them for raising that money. Now, Bylloyd, who do you
(01:54):
want to shine a lot on.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Yeah, I got it.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
I'm aware of my jacket now to you. The weather's
finally breaking. All right, Well, that would shine a light
and if you want to shine a light still you
can do it for last word at eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty And when we come back,
we have your yet and we want to talk about
something that you may do pre posted on social media
that has to do with independent versus major label artists.
All right, definitely want to get your take on it.
(03:54):
It's way up, just like the talk like they Angela
g like they Angela gee.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Man, she's spilling it all.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
This is Yaki, what's up his way up at Angela
yee out here with my best team. May no, no,
if let's get into this yet. So Jamain dupre posted
I'm a little lost. Can somebody tell me what the
goal of being an independent artist is? Today because all
of the things that people are chasing is ish major
(04:23):
artists do. What's the thing that indie artists do that
make it special? Can you answer that question, Mayo.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
The goals is good money, exactly, that's the goal.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
I think the main thing that major label artists have
an issue with is that they never see any money
from their music. But when you're independent, you get a
larger piece of that. Now, granted it may not be
as big of a pie that you're going to get
a piece of. Sometimes it can be, though. It just depends,
And I think if you really want to bet on
yourself and believe in yourself, then yes, go independent. I
(04:52):
also think that if you're an independent artist and you
build yourself up to a certain point, you can get
a way bigger deal upfront, you know. So I think
it does have to do with cash, and maybe at
a certain point you're like, okay to take it to
the next level. I want a major label. I don't
want to have to do all this work by myself.
I don't want to have to hire my own marketing person,
my own promotions team, my own PR person. Let's get
(05:13):
a label to do all of that for us. Just
knowing that you just won't get as much money because
that money goes into a lot of other things.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Well, you may get a bigger advance anyway.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Right, but then if you get a nice big advance,
maybe that money will go to making you some more
money and other things. It's a trade off. But I
will say that I think if you can independently make
a lot of moves and do a lot, then that
helps with you getting that deal a bigger deal. All right. Now,
Regine sat down with Carlos King and you know he
always gets all kinds of tea, And apparently she would
(05:45):
have been willing to wait for wife and Luci while
he was locked up. You know, he's home now. Here's
what she has to say.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
I was probably willing to wait.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
But like you see, he has a girlfriend now.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
Was she allegedly with him while y'all were together four
years ago?
Speaker 10 (05:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (06:00):
I forgive him too, because at the end of the day,
I was young. But I definitely am happy for him.
I'm glad that he's out with his family and happy.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
I feel it though, because it is hard when a
guy goes to jail if you're like doing other things. Okay,
so if you're home and doing other things. Maybe you
can get back. But then when you get locked up
and you're still doing other things, and makes a woman feel.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Like you're just getting visits. What are you doing? Well?
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Of course you would say that I sell your post.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
You're just getting visits about you, care about you.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
Well, people love you.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
I think for a woman, you feel like, well, if
I'm making these sacrifices and just seeing you and coming
to see you all the time, I don't want you
seeing all these other women or or another one.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
If you're not coming, why stop somebody else from coming?
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Well, she probably was at first. When a man is
locked up and he's cheating on you while.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Not cheating, it's like, if you.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
In jail cheating on me with other women, are you
going to do when your home?
Speaker 11 (07:01):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Man, No shade to Lucci, but I'm just saying that's
what a woman would think. All right, Well, anyway, that
is your Yet when we come back, we have about
last night. That's where we discussed what we did last night.
I'll tell you about my night and what I'm doing
today that I'm excited for. It's way up night.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
So about last night, Yes, zai went down?
Speaker 2 (07:24):
What's up? As way up with Angela. Yee, I'm here,
my guy Meino's here, and you know, it is Friday today,
so we're excited about that. I've been trying to take
it a little bit easy, but I want to say
usually I do about last night. But I'm gonna doll
you guys what I'm doing today, all right. Habitat for Humanity.
I'm actually working on a project today in the Bronx.
(07:44):
And one of my friends tell me she was like, oh,
the Habitat for Humanity was just in New Orleans or
just here, but it actually works in more than seventy
countries and they've helped more than sixty two million people
improve their living conditions. They were founded in nineteen seventy six.
I know people personally who have gotten their homes from
Habitat for Humanity. So you build a house, I want
to say it like that, but yes, we're part of
(08:06):
the process of building a home. And I think it's amazing.
They figure out who to give the home, so people
can apply for that and so, and people can also donate.
But people who need a decent place to live, families,
you know, they build safe and affordable homes and and
that's all in partnership with Habitat for Humanity and I
hosted there gala last year, and so it really inspired
(08:27):
me because I got a chance to meet some of
the families who actually got homes from Habitat for Humanity.
And we know home ownership is something that can definitely,
you know, help you as far as passing that down
generation a generation. I think there's nothing more secure than
feeling like I have a place to live. So that's
why I love the work that they're doing. I might
have you come you want to do a build day?
Why not we should head up our own bill day
(08:49):
where we get our own crew of people to come
together to volunteer for the day to work with them.
Are you down? Just calm down. I know how to
do a lot of things. I cut my nails for
this today. All right, Well that's about last night. When
we come back.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Oh you know what it is, Oh, tell us a secret.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
I know I ain't. Let's go viral back eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty years and I'm gonna
call us up. Any secret you have, we want to
hear it. We're not gonna tell nobody. We just being
nosy and we're not gonna judge.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
You listening, don't judge.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
It's way up yo ya.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
This is a judgment. Freeze all tell us a secret.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
What's up? This way up at Angela yee? And the
number is eight hundred and two niney two fifty one fifty.
It's time for you guys to tell us a secret.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Anonymous caller? Tell us your secret?
Speaker 7 (09:38):
I got homeboy.
Speaker 8 (09:39):
He's no longer here, made by sideach, but uh, he
introduced me to the check that you know. The neighborhood
knew pretty well now. I was dealing with her and uh,
she had a daughter that came of age some years ago.
She's probably about thirty something now. I've been dealing with
the mom ma and the daughter for about about four
or five years now. Good the daughter already knew what.
(10:02):
The mom just found out.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Sleeping with the mother and the daughter.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
So the mother just found out. What did she say
when she found out? And how is the daughter okay
with this?
Speaker 10 (10:10):
I mean the daughter she was cool with it.
Speaker 8 (10:13):
So once the mom found out, I can't believe you
dealing with my daughter. But at the same time, she
never stopped hitting me up to come over, so they okay.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
With with it.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
What's their relationship like with each other? Do they get
along with each other?
Speaker 8 (10:27):
Yeah, yeah, they're cool with It's like it's like four
daughters and the mom and the mom is fadd I
mean she she compete with the daughters for real. So
and Kim take you to herself and everything, both of
them okay with it? No real?
Speaker 1 (10:41):
So you might as a sleeping them all together.
Speaker 8 (10:43):
Then I'm freaking but I.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
Ain't not freaking something living somewhere.
Speaker 12 (10:50):
Two sisters.
Speaker 10 (10:50):
Now, she got a sister that I was.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Okay, sir, thank you for calling right bye? All right,
Well that was tell us a secret eight hundred two
nine fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through, you
could leave a message. And when we come back, we
have your yee tea, and we got to talk about
some of the creative fallout from Donald Trump. Now, if
you love the play Hamilton, you'll be disappointed to find
(11:13):
out if you have tickets to go see them on
this run, it's been canceled. We'll give you the details.
It all has to do with Trump. It's way up
to show.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
She's about to blow the lead about this, but let's
get it.
Speaker 5 (11:21):
Oh yeah, angelus feeling that yee te come.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
And get the tea.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
What's up his way up, Budy Angela, Yee, I'm here,
My guy Mano is here and it's time for that
yet and I have some bad news that we got
to pray on. So Dwayne Wiggins from Tony Tony Tony,
apparently he's been sick and his family did provide an update.
They confirm that he is alive. After rumors to the
contrary surfaced, they went on Instagram and put out a statement.
(11:48):
We wanted to share that Dwayne Wiggins experiencing medical complications.
He is working through it one day at a time.
We know how beloved he is by so many, and
we are grateful for your prayers and concern. We also
request that you respect the family's privacy during this time.
So they shared a picture of him and wrote that,
you know, Tony Tony Tony is one of my favorite groups,
and we actually had them up here on way Up.
(12:10):
You know, I was excited. Here's a little piece of that.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
We started off just not.
Speaker 12 (12:13):
Even as a group, it's just family did as those
chairmen at the house, and we never were like real singers.
We played behind some of the dopest singers, the Hawkins family,
Tremaine Hawkins being out with Shele and Prince and this,
that and the other. So we we got a chance
to take what we grew up learning in Oakland and
see how to kind of like take it to the
next level. Once we got back off the road with
(12:33):
those people, we just moved forward with Tony Hany Tony.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
You know he also mentored Beyonce and Destiny's Child when
they were younger. So but yes, we know, like you said,
you used to change and the song my name is
Jemmaine instead of Dowayne. All right now, Hamilton producer Jeffrey
Seller released a statement they canceled their run at the
(13:00):
Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and that's because Donald
Trump has taken over that venue. Seller wrote, political disagreement
and debate our vital expressions of democracy. These basic concepts
of freedom are at the very heart of Hamilton. However,
some institutions are sacred and should be protected from politics.
The Kennedy Center is one such institution, so it's supposed
(13:22):
to be a neutral space, but he says that it
has now been destroyed with Trump at the Helm and
the recent purge by the Trump administration of staff and
events producer hosted at the venue flies in the face
of everything this National Cultural Center represents. So they have
canceled Hamilton's third run at the Kennedy Center that was
supposed to start, actually was supposed to start March third
(13:42):
and go through April twenty six. And you know, Easter
Ray also canceled her sold out event that was there
as well, because they don't feel like they want to
support something that Donald Trump has taken over. He basically
took it over and announced that in early February, and
he also terminated immediately multiple individuals from the board of trustees.
And so when something like that happens, you don't just
(14:04):
go forward as planned and as scheduled. All right, well,
that is your ut. And when we come back, we
have under the radar the stories that are not necessarily
in the headlines. They're flying under the radar, but you
definitely need to know about them. It's way up news.
Speaker 5 (14:17):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
What's up is the way you put angela yee, I'm here,
maynos here And it's time for under the radar now.
We've been discussing how President Donald Trump has been putting
out executive orders, then reversing them, then firing people, then
re hiring them. Well, yesterday he signed executive actions that
are delaying for nearly one month tariffs on all products
from Mexico and Canada that are covered by the US
(14:44):
MCA Free Trade treaty. So that's a significant walk back
since he's talked about these twenty five percent tariffs.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Right, it's not going to happen, he.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Said, I have, after speaking with President Claudia Scheinbaum of Mexico,
I have agreed that Mexico will not be required to
pay tariffs on anything that falls under the US MCA agreements.
So all it took was a phone call for him
to say that, and he said the terrorists will be
delayed until April second. So yeah, this is the United States,
Mexico Canada agreement. And I'm not sure what's going to happen,
(15:14):
but he said he did this out of an accommodation
and out of respect for President Shinebaum. Our relationship has
been a very good one and we are working hard
together on the border, both in terms of stopping illegal
aliens from entering the United States and likewise stopping Fantanahl.
Thank you to President Shinebaum for your hard work and cooperation.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
What about Canada as far as the tariff's.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Concern, Well, I guess that's still a work in progress.
Speaker 11 (15:38):
You know.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Canada is like, look, we're about to take all your
stuff off the shelves. We're not even going to accept
it here. Yeah, so there's still more complications with Canada.
He's been criticizing their Prime minister and he accused them
of trying to capitalize politically on the tariff that Canadians
have felt. Now, he did initially announce a reprieve for
Mexico but not Canada, but then he did actually grant
(16:00):
one for Canada. Also, he said, believe it or not,
despite the terrible job he's done for Canada, I think
that Justin Trudeau is using the tariff problem, which he
has largely caused, in order to run again for prime minister.
So much fun to watch. But he did walk it back.
All right, Well, that is your under the radar. And
when we come back, we have the Way Up mix
at the top of the hour plus we have Lola
(16:21):
Brooke joining us. Young Lola is way up.
Speaker 10 (16:25):
She's like the talk like they Angela Jean, like they
Angela Jean.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
And she's spilling it all. This is yet way up?
Speaker 2 (16:35):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (16:35):
His way up?
Speaker 2 (16:36):
At Angela? Yee, I'm here, my guy Mano is here.
All right, let's get into some yet. So, Megan thee
Stallion has gotten an apology from Hannah Burner, a podcaster. Now,
there was some backlash because at the Vanity Fair Oscars
after party, she told Megan thee Stallion that she plays
her music and it makes her want to fight. Here's
what happened.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
Your music has literally want to fight someone.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
You want to throw that fight out the window. You
want to get you a talking.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Great well.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
A lot of people had things to say about those
comments because, like Megan the Stallion said in that interaction,
her music is about being a bad it's not about fighting,
you know. So since then, Hannah Burner has apologized said
it was a careless choice of words, and though there
was no ill intent, I recognized and acknowledge that what
I said has a deeper meaning and I am so
(17:33):
sorry to Megan. I appreciate everyone who brought this to
my attention.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
He was out of pocket.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Yeah, Megan looked uncomfortable too, Like, what are you talking about?
My music makes you want to fight? My music's not
about that. Now some more backlash. Jasi Banks recently did
a skit on social media and you know who he
had an escit, Plice Johnson.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
Yes, he didn't want to say he is more important water.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
So Pleice Johnson was notorious on the series lock Up
where he basically talked about people when they would come
to jail, you know, if they would sack their pants.
That was like an invitation for him. And basically what
people are saying is this person is a known rapist
and this should not be normalized. Well, here's a little
bit of what that skit was.
Speaker 6 (18:16):
Like, please you, that's what you did. I already know
who you are.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
And what you and your party.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Now what do you think about that?
Speaker 4 (18:32):
Man?
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Know because you said you don't even know if those
stories define.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
Those stories, is even true those stories?
Speaker 9 (18:39):
Some of them stories sounds so outrageous, Like it's a
comedy skit, which everybody always up in arms about something.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
It's it's comedy. It's a skit. He like one hundred
and sixty five years old, Like what what difference do
it make?
Speaker 2 (18:51):
It's interesting because I was showing you the Boondocks episode
with Flee Jos.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
It's worse.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
That was definitely hands yes, yes in the episode. All right, well, anyway,
that is your yet and when we come back, it
is a Friday, so you know it's a new music Friday.
Will tell you who has new albums out today, what
you should be listening to.
Speaker 5 (19:09):
It's way up here, everybody since with its relationship with
career advice, Angela's dropping.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
Facts, you should you should know.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
What's up? His way up? But Angela, yee, I'm here,
My guy Maino's here. We have asked yee, and you're
the award winning advice giver. So we got Nicolet on
the line. What's up, Nicole?
Speaker 4 (19:27):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Nic what's your question?
Speaker 4 (19:30):
So?
Speaker 13 (19:31):
I went on a date with a guy a few
days ago, a guy that really really like, but for
whatever reason, he didn't text me back for like three
four days. Would I be wrong if I ghosted him?
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Well, how can you ghost?
Speaker 1 (19:42):
I don't know, like he ghosted you, he goes to me.
Speaker 13 (19:45):
But would I be wrong if I, like, if I
wanted to text him back, but like I just don't
end up?
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Well, he already ghosted you, though, that's the thing. Said.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Wait, you said he didn't text you back, So did
you text him already and he ignored it?
Speaker 6 (19:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Yeah, you got ghosted baby.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
So you said the date went well. Is there a
reason that he would think it didn't.
Speaker 13 (20:04):
No, that's the funny part. I'm just so confused.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
How did you meet him? Was it on a dating app?
Speaker 10 (20:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (20:11):
He's probably dating multiple people.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Here's the thing. He was just trying girls out. So
here's the thing, like, everybody don't want us, baby.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Oh my gosh, did you did you do anything with him?
Did y'all sleep together?
Speaker 6 (20:21):
No?
Speaker 13 (20:22):
We didn't. It was just like a first day. It
was okay, pretty casual. But I thought it went pretty well.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
No kissing or anything.
Speaker 13 (20:29):
Becauss, But that was pretty much.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
That's I mean, that's disappointing when you go out with
somebody and finally and you like them and then they don't.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Need too It happens. Though.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
What did you say when you texted him that he
didn't respond to.
Speaker 13 (20:41):
I just said, hey, you know, like just to catch
up and stuff, like to see if he was doing
all right, because it's been like four.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Dys I believe, said, and he said nothing anything, nothing. Yeah,
if he was interested, he would have texted you already.
It's not protocol to just not hit somebody back, and
it may not be you. Maybe that he has other
things going on, and maybe that he just was you know,
who knows.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
Maybe he just not that into you.
Speaker 9 (21:06):
Right, It's okay, just cut your losses because if he
if he wanted to make the time, he would have.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
And I love the fact that you seem like you
have a good sense of humor about it. Yeah, okay,
But I also don't believe in playing games. So if
he does end up hitting you back, just be like
I thought you weren't interested. I hit you up, you
didn't hit me back. And you have to also teach
people how to treat you early on. So if he
does hit you back, I wouldn't go some him. I
would just be honest and be like, look, I thought
we had a good date. Just be direct and take
(21:34):
it from there. But in the meantime, he hasn't responded.
You reached out, he didn't respond. Keep it moving, definitely, okay.
All right, Well, thank you, Nicole, and I wish you
luck on your dating journey. Have a good time with you.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Yeah, maybe sometimes they just don't all want us.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
You should see how many people don't hit Mano back.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
It's fine, yeah, if you believe that.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Thank you, Nicole, thank you all right, Well that was asked,
ye eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one fifty.
In case you couldn't get through, you can leave a
message and when we come back. A Lola Brooke is
gonna be joining us. That's right. She's got a new
single out right now, call you the one. She's also
in love. I believe we're gonna talk about it. It's
way up.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
Yes, hey, you don't want to know my name. Way
up with Angela.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
Ye, it's way up with Angela. Yee here with Uncle Mano.
Lola Brooke is in the finally, yes, finally.
Speaker 11 (22:30):
Uh uh.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Every time I see you, I'm like, so what are
we doing? Like, what are we doing?
Speaker 3 (22:34):
Way up?
Speaker 2 (22:34):
So glad to have you here.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Yes, it's also happy to be here.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Listen.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
She popped out Valentine's Day. Let's get right to it.
She popped out, I did. I gotta hear, and I
want to say after that, because you know, I'm nosy.
I checked the timeline of like how long you are?
Because I said, okay, she was on his album A
couple of years prior to that. Then she was the
leading girl in the video for one of his songs,
(22:59):
going on, this is something that was right under our noses. Yeah,
and we didn't know but you yeah and actually and
I and I liked though, but I know him too,
so yeah, he's super super.
Speaker 9 (23:11):
I called him, was like, I want to meet him
because this is the type of love I wantmer tell
you this.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
This is what I want.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
Say what else? She said? You want? You said, I
got a promise to what what when you find someone.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
Double when I find when I find my people? This
is what I want. I want to make you tiktoks.
I want to do what I want to do.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
I feel like this all ties into the new single too.
He the one.
Speaker 11 (23:39):
I mean, it's just so happy to fit in because
you the one. I did this song like last year September.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Meet. But we don't know how long this has been
going on, so no, yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
Don't it's been a while.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
It's been doing it. What he could do, that's what
I can't say.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
Say he knew right away when he first met you,
but you know.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
So' crazy. When I first seen him, I knew that
he was going to be in my life for a
long time, but I just didn't know it would be
a lover. I thought we were just gonna be like
real close friends.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
Really right now, I'm here with my guy man now
and we're talking to Brooklyn's own Lola brook But it
is poetic now that you have this single lout. But
you said it wasn't necessarily inspired by that. It was
just a oh no.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
What I'm saying is like, that's not what inspired us to.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
Come out to the world. It is a little different sonically,
I think from things that you've done. It's more like
you do have a singing but it's very melodic.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
Yeah, and you sound good, thank you?
Speaker 1 (24:33):
So how was that for you?
Speaker 11 (24:34):
I love singing though, like that's my thing. Like I'm
singing in the mirror in the room by myself all
the time. So why if you're an artist, why not
do it in the studio?
Speaker 3 (24:43):
So I'm like, yeah, I like to play with my vocals.
Speaker 11 (24:46):
And then at the end of the day, I don't
like the rap all day like I do like the
sing and I listen to R and B music all
the time.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
That's how I see.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
Yeah, I think you're getting a lot of the respect
that you deer. I like it because I think it's
it's still like going up, but it's steady.
Speaker 8 (25:00):
You know.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Do you feel that?
Speaker 3 (25:01):
Is that my own page. I'm not compete with nobody else.
What's for me, it's for you. And if I sit
there and try to hurry up and rush it, when
the time come, it's.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
Going go bar roop.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
Really and what was meant for you gonna find you
no matter what, no matter you know, because sometimes even
havn't had such a huge hair to come out the
door with, you know, for people's like introductions, some people
think of that as like, oh, that's the one hand,
wonder what's gonna happen next, But you definitely kept following
it up with single after single that was anthems. So
that's something too, because it is a little nerve wracking,
(25:32):
like damn, I'm gonna what I'm gonna do next.
Speaker 11 (25:34):
I'm doing this because it just makes me feel good,
and then it just go up and then now I'm like,
oh no, I feel good. Let me just keep putting
out more music and whatever hit hit, because don't believe what,
it didn't pop until like the next two years.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
Right, Lola Brooke is here. She's got a new single
out right now called You the One, and she really
means that. You know she's got a man. But we
have more what Lola Brook when we come back. It's
way up.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
What you're all being waiting for.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
Oh, you're tapped in the way up with Angelae.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
What's up is the way you put Angelae. I'm here
with my guy Mana and we have our girl Lola
Brook in the building. I know you're working on a
new project, So does that mean he's on? It is there?
Speaker 3 (26:11):
Y'all want him to be on?
Speaker 2 (26:12):
We were like a love song with the two of you.
Would you like that?
Speaker 3 (26:15):
Uncle man?
Speaker 1 (26:18):
And then let let's go.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
He may no couldate somebody and y'all could do a
song we want to be. He's not playing with me,
carry him with and.
Speaker 3 (26:25):
Then we could make them paid of hell, that's the
best hoping.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
I don't want you helping me with my love life again.
You've turned it into a joke, turned into a game.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
You've hurt me.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
No, listen, he's mad. The advice did I gate? I
give people because my friends and I'm like, look, get
some freemales girls.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
I'm not it's not going past that. But get some
free mails that hurt I said.
Speaker 5 (26:49):
He mad.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Because they asked me, and I'll be like only my
uncle man alone.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
Yeah, so what's worse. I'm like, go out and get
some females.
Speaker 3 (26:59):
I'll be stopping. I'm not leave.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Why why leave him alone?
Speaker 3 (27:02):
Because I don't want his heart to be.
Speaker 11 (27:03):
Broke, because I'm pretty sure he broke a lot of hearts, right,
so I know, I know the car is gonna come,
and I don't want to pay a.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
Reason it came.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
You know.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
That's why.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
I think we should like to do a little dating
show and try to help find him somebody.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
Yes, oh yo, what I set that to? My Mom's
about you?
Speaker 1 (27:27):
Really?
Speaker 3 (27:27):
No, I'm so serious. Yeah, I was like, I think
open may need a dating show.
Speaker 11 (27:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
I just don't know what he wants, but I just yeah,
that's the thing I want.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
The girl I want to be on TikTok.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
I want that's you know, that's outfit to the tattoo
you just mentioned. So do boy does he have a
tattoo of you on his? Okay?
Speaker 1 (27:50):
Really, nay, this is going.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
She put it down. That's all I know. Head is
Oh wow, I see he posted he got a I'm
looking for her posts.
Speaker 7 (28:07):
Yeah, wow, you don't have.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
Nothing shout out though we were not.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
Supposed for the woman. You want a pedestal, don't just
have him do one.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
But that's not something that I asked for. That's just something.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
Right now, I'm here with my guy man No, and
we're talking to Brooklyn's own Lola brook who said I
love you first the first time.
Speaker 11 (28:33):
When we felt it, we hung up and then I
think he called me back, but I was trying to
call him back and he started laughing.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
He was like, yo, when we hung up, almost said
I loved you, and I was like, YO, almost said
it too.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Damn, this is so sweet, cute, so much.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
And then that's that was the first time. So we
said it to each other.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
So tell us about the new album, because I know
you have a new project you're working on, So what
are the details that you know so far?
Speaker 11 (28:55):
So far the energy is basically me experimenting with a
lot of different sounds, so you the one was an
example of what you might hear.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
I like it, Yeah, I do, I really like it.
I got to exercise the vocals.
Speaker 11 (29:09):
I'm just happening into different things and my subject matter
is like really relatable even more like I'm not just
trying to be so aggressive and row and things.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
I'm like tapping into real life.
