Speaker 1 (00:01):
Wind Down with Janet Kramer and I'mheart Radio Podcast. Okay,
so we are back with another unmask and unwine and
today's episode was the theme was Shrek Night. I have
to say when Ken came out to sing, it was
like it was hilarious.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Everything he does is hilarious.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
So fun. But he just he owned it, you know
because obviously he's not a you know, a great singer,
but you know him and Jenny, they just come out
and it's like the way that he just embraced it
as that true performer and entertainer that he is. It
(00:45):
was so good. And then you know, Robin and Rita lifted.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Them, petizes that whole panel. It's just fun. Yeah, it's
just having a laugh and having fun.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
So fun. And we have a little special guest on
this opening show because my daughter, who is the whole
reason why I did the Masked Singer to begin with,
is gonna join the panel Panel Panel. Wow, I think
I'm getting British. She's joining them panel today because we
(01:18):
watched it together this week. And uh, first up was
chorl and Jolie. What did you say about Kral You
loved her outfit?
Speaker 3 (01:27):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:28):
Yes, yeah, you loved what did you love about it?
Speaker 4 (01:31):
It's just like when like all the different colors when
they like spread out and just makes me like want
to meet Chlora really Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:43):
And then what did you think of her singing voice?
It was good? Was she your favorite singer of the night? Yeah? Yeah, so,
and she kept saying I know that voice, I know
that voice, but she sang well. So some of her
clues were talkative with no filter, you know, talks about
(02:03):
a leading man. She was forced to be her friend.
But then what happened, Julie? They became they were friends,
and then they fell in love. And there was also
a werewolf of silver screen to sing and dance, but
she's saying accidentally in love. The guesses were Hailey Steinfeld,
Dove Cameron, Lily Ryan Hart. What were your thoughts on
(02:25):
her performance?
Speaker 5 (02:26):
A performance was good? I think vocally she's a performance
was good. I think vocally she's excellent.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:33):
Yes, I've seen the clue, but she was involved in
a Marvel shore which kind of got me trying to
guess who it was. But I'm still almost dumbfounded on
who as Julie.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Do you have any guesses for who it might be?
Speaker 4 (02:50):
I feel like it's like a girl Marvel, but I don't.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
I mean, you love Marvel.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
Yeah, so I'm trying to think of like all the
Marvel characters and see which wants like that voice.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Right, I I agree with you. So there's a girl
named Meg Donnelly and that's who there's a there's a
little chatter that it might be this girl named Meg Donnelly.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
And I may or may not have listened to some
of her music, and it does sound a lot like her,
and I believe she has. I haven't really done a deep,
deep deep dive, but.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Sounds like you have.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
I swear I haven't.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
But that is well, it's technically we have.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
We've got a neighbor who's like obsessed with the Massinger.
I mean the second that I was on the show,
she was like, oh my god, you're you're the night stuff.
She's probably listening. Yeah, so and she was like it,
you know, so she like gave me all her guesses.
So my cheat a little a little bit because you know,
because she sent me her guesses for it. But I
(04:06):
was like, interesting, guess, let me look into it a
little bit more.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Second up, Papa Rassle hands.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Down my favorite of the night. I told Jolie, I
was like, he is that that was my absolute favorite
performance of the night. I thought he crushed it.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
That's because you liked the Hallelujah song.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
The Jolie's like, I've heard this song. I was like
in Church Baby all the time.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
We love it.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Occasionally call we love.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
That song, don't we?
Speaker 5 (04:34):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yes, But Jolie, did you like the performance too? Yeah? Yeah,
it was really good, so good, and I I noticed
his costume more now I think we'll get because I
was just so drawn to the song. But I mean,
like killer killer, killer killer song. I mean that was
(04:55):
I mean, I know, but it was just like, what
a great song choice, because it really does come down
to that. So like I didn't really know Chorl's song
very well. I wasn't a big Counting Crows fan, so
to me, it was a great opener. But like Paparazzo's
song the story that he said he worked with Robin
Williams that like I Broke my heart, that was beautiful.
(05:17):
It really was. And he was saying how the story
about like you know, you just never know what people
are going through, and that just really I mean that
that captured me. But I'm like, gosh, who's worked with before? Well,
(05:38):
I gotta pull up my neighbors guess totally.
Speaker 5 (05:42):
I'm not a cheat.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
I'm not.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
I'm just you know, just going off of you know,
the the neighbor and so. But I I don't know,
let me see, I guess Elijah Wood, Robin says James Marson,
But I don't. I think that in Ken says Seth Green,
(06:05):
which I do think this person is short the paper,
they looked like they might be on the shorter end.
Speaker 5 (06:11):
I would need to say a deep dive into Robin
william movies. And then because we thought that this guy
was probably a child actor as well, didn't we.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Yeah, so I'll guess the next thing, will you, I'll
get it.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
It kind of sounded like Usher for a second.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Why did you think that?
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Because I love your question, good question. I don't know.
I just it's such a smooth voice, and I feel
like Usher has a very smooth voice.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
But I don't know shoots well to Robin Williams.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
No, No, I know, like that's yeah, and I know,
but and then I was starting to think the I
think the closest guess was the Elijah Wood from Ritoura.
Speaker 5 (06:53):
Also the fact that Robin Williams did stand up as well,
so this person might be a stand up comedian.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
Which could be the just is Seth Green. You know,
other people's guesses have been Matthew Lawrence, Taylor Lautner, Seth McFarlane,
one of the Lawrence brothers, Frankie Minas the.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Robin Williams movies and go back to go back.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
To that after Paparazzo, who again, hands down was my
favorite of the night. Uh, Fuzzy Peace. Did we love
Fuzzy Peas jolly not? I mean he just I mean
I love Fuzzy Pea's energy. I thought it was a
(07:46):
really fun performance.
Speaker 5 (07:48):
Well those there's a fact that it sounds like the
best person comes across like a median and high energy
person and really fun.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
So my guess he's what kind of lean into war
more can a Spanish comedian like people?
Speaker 1 (08:06):
The clue was he scrappy and known to throw down
and pick a fight, which is a big hint for
who our guest is. Uh and and and what happens
with the end of the show. But he thought he
would never settle down until he found true love. And
he's saying I'm a Believer by smash Mouth. So the
guests were Antonio Bendaris, Pitbull, Caesar Milan, and last up
(08:30):
was Aunt Jolie. What was your thoughts on Aunt?
Speaker 4 (08:33):
Aunt was like, I liked her voice, like.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
And she's sang The Wide Awake by Katy Perry.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
Like.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
It was really like it made me like into her.
It made me feel like her, but like a little different,
a little different. Yeah, what about a costume? Did you
like her costume? I like to costume.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
It was you don't like red aunts, do you?
Speaker 1 (09:00):
You're not a big fan of ants in general, but
she's a pretty an.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Yeah, she's still a red ant.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
I think her story, just the emotion and sadness and
the powerful comments that she comes out with are almost like,
I don't even care how bad you sing, I just
want to know who.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
I think she sounds great.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
I think she's okay. I think she's I said that
in the last episode, I think.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Oh, this is gonna be good. Yes, follow what you
just said and then say what you're about to say.
What you said it in the last one, You're like,
she sounds a lot like you.
Speaker 5 (09:35):
Huh No, If you go back to the last one,
I said, she sounds her story sounds like yours, but
she's nowhere need as good as as what I said.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Hannah will back me up on that.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
But no, I think she's got a great voice. I
actually think I kind of agree with Robin. I think
it might be Lindsay Lehan.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
It's a really good guess. Yeah, it's a really good guess.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
That's where I'm kind of leaning towards is Lindsay hm hm.
And Lindsay has a great voice. She's very authentic with
her story. She's gone through a lot. But the person
that was sent home, and this was the you know,
(10:20):
the they got voted off, was Fuzzy Peas and the
revealing last flue was a golf glove and ball. Nobody
guessed him. It was Fuzzy Peas was revealed and it
is none other than the incredibly famous professional boxer Oscar
(10:40):
de la Hoya. I mean massive would I would never
have guessed that he's huge, And we have the honor
of speaking to him next. So let's take a break
and then welcome Oscar de la Hoya onto Unmasked and Unwine.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
Hi.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Hi, Well we'll just hop right into it then. Since
you're so competitive. Was it hard to say goodbye then
to Fuzzy Peace.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
You know what it actually was? It was very, very hard.
And you know what's funny is I really do think
that boxing prepared me for the for the mass singer stage.
I really do because going out there, like in the
ring in a championship fight in Las Vegas, and you
(11:37):
come out the dressing room and you see all the
people that I mean, there's literally thousands of people and
you're gonna fight somebody, right, So the adrenaline you feel
in your stomach, the butterflies. I felt that same feeling
when I came out as Fuzzy Pe on stage watching
all the people there, especially the judges. Yeah, you know,
(11:59):
it's it's hilarious because you see the people they're like waiting, anticipating,
and they're like just having a good time. And then
you see the judges they're just like looking at you
like okay, but once the music starts, it's like, okay,
this is it. Let's just have fun. Let's just have
a good time. So it was it was I had
(12:21):
a blast. I had a blast.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
Yeah. It's so interesting too because I've never shared this,
but when I did the show last year, I remember
when I got sent home and I didn't even tell
you this, babe, I started like under the mask, like
once I heard that I was being eliminated, there was
a piece of me that started. I mean, I wasn't
full blown crying, but I was like I started to
get teeriou because I'm like, I was having a so
much fun. But also it's I'm also competitive and I
(12:43):
didn't want to go home, you know, so I'm like,
why am I crying right now? I'm like, you got
to lock it up, Cramer, lock it up, Like I'm like,
I gotta like control this.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
It's a feeling of yeah, like you don't like one
a person doesn't love him, like getting disappointed or lose
e that sensation of like, oh my gosh, you're eliminated.
I felt bad too. I mean like that, you know,
you get the little goosebugs and you're like, oh no,
not me, and you're telling everybody next to You're like
it's okay.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
I'm yeah, I'm like I had so much fun, which
I did.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
I really didn't because you want to keep going right,
you know, And then.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
You're like, you know, I got to say though, I
you know, I I know of you for you know,
for a long time. You're you know, you're huge or
an icon, and but as a boxer, I'm like, you're
just you're so nice. Like I didn't I didn't know
what to expect because you just seem so joyful. And
so I'm like, how does this guy go up and
(13:37):
start like beating down people like you just seem so happy?
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Yeah, you know what? My my my lady asked, like
tells me the same thing every single day, like how
do you do it? Because she's with me all the time,
like we haven't been apart for like close to five
years at all, like one day and and she's like, oh,
and she's so she knows exactly what I go through,
like cause I I have businesses and this and that. Yeah,
(14:02):
I have people to deal with. And then it's like
how do you do it? And I don't. I mean,
I'm just I guess where I grew up. I grew
up with a lot of pain at home, and I
grew up with like so I needed love a lot
of like hugs and love and this, you know, So
I guess I guess. Yeah, just trying to trying to
look for for validation. I guess, you know, and trying
(14:25):
to be happy. And so that's why it's like I
love doing the mask singer because when you're when you're
behind the mask, it's like nobody knows who you are,
so you can be yourself, right, you can be silly,
you can be like and I was behind the mask,
I was so giddy. I was so like just happy
and and just emotional, right because nobody knows who I am,
(14:48):
so and nobody can could critique me because I mean,
you know, as as the public figure, you get critiqued
all the time, like for whatever little reason, and so yeah,
it's uh massive for me. It was like just stows
it was perfect.
Speaker 5 (15:02):
Well, you were really funny because I thought I thought
behind the mask you was a comedian. I thought you're
singing was good. But I also thought, I.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Think I think Fuzzy Piece is a comedian.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:13):
Obviously, completely and utterly in the wrong direction. I went
with that guest because your character, your character was endearing
and funny. But we we just found out that you
actually you brought you brought out a CD back in
was it two.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
Thousand platinum selling right.
Speaker 5 (15:32):
Yes, which was which didn't incredibly incredibly well, so it's
not your first experience of singing.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
Oh my god. So so it's funny because first of all,
I mean, I don't know, Yeah, nobody bought it.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
So oh I thought it was a platinum. Yeah it
was great and nominated.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
Right, it was nominated Grammy nominated, platinum, this, that, and
it's it's it's a cute little story because so my
mother was a perfect singer. And so coming home from
school when I was a little kid, I would, you know,
I would sing with her like all the time, every
single day. And keep in mind, I'm I'm boxing. I
(16:11):
started boxing at five years old, so I'm I'm already
singing at six, seven, eight years old, you know, every
single day with my mom. So it's it's kind of
like in our in our in our blood. Right. And
so when I was twenty five years old, right in
the peak of my career, okay, at the height of everything,
I think I had just fought at the Staples Center
(16:32):
of the Crypto Arena, and I mean everything was going great,
and I said to myself, you know what, I'm going
to do a little album for my mom and memory
of my mom, because she had passed away from bread cancer.
And so so they, you know, all the powers to
be back. Then they got it hold of like the
best producers and the record label, and so we're I'm
cutting this album in Miami and and so Diane Warren
(16:56):
is writing a song for me. It's called with These
Hands and it's just beautiful. So we come out with
the first single and it's the cover for the Begies
called Run to Me. And I'm like, oh my god, wait,
this is like blowing up. This is like huge. And
so I'm now doing the Tonight Show and this and
that and singing live, and then all of a sudden,
(17:18):
I was like, you know what, I'm just twenty five.
I love boxing. I have to go back and just
and just fight because I love fighting. I love getting hit.
So let's let's quit the music industry and just go
back to boxing. But it got nominated for a Grabby
right next to Shakira and Christina Guilera. I was like,
what am I doing here?
Speaker 1 (17:39):
How are you? That's amazing? And so you never then
went out and to order, saying on like did you
and do any of that?
Speaker 3 (17:46):
No? I did sing a couple of times on stage live,
and yeah, I sang on the Tonight show live.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
I saw that on YouTube.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
Yeah, yeah, oh my gosh. It was just so nerve wreaking.
It was crazy.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
So then, yeah, it must have been such an amazing
experience and for you to go out there on the
messinger with you know and to just really, you know,
have that moment to be because you love singing, you
love that, have that connection with your mom and then
your success with the you know, your your album. So
it's like that must have been a really cool moment
to just go yeah, like yeah, I can do this
and it's fun.
Speaker 6 (18:17):
It was, yeah, you know, it's it's crazy because so
you have like you have individual individual like dressing room
areas where there's no like it's just tented off, right,
so you can hear the other participants, and there were
like practicing behind stage, and everybody's behind stage is like,
I don't know, sixteen of us, twelve of us, I
(18:37):
don't know, And.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
You can hear everybody practice, and I'm like, wait, what
am I doing here? These guys are like Paulvaratti, These
these guys are singing their butts off like us. And
I heard some voices in there that were just like angelic.
It was incredible. So and then here I am, you know,
trying to vocalize and this, and I was like, I
was so embarrassed. But you know what I said to myself,
(19:01):
You know what, just have a good time. Yeah, just
go and have a good time. It'll be fun. Nobody
knows who you are. You will make a fool of yourself.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Just go and have a good time, exactly. And it's
okay that we had a little glistening to your both
you and I went under our masks.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
So it's okay. And you loved it. You loved your
vocal coach.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
I love Who was your vocal coach? Do you remember?
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Oh my gosh, I don't remember, but she was like phenomenal.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
She was amazing you.
Speaker 5 (19:26):
So, so the costume, how did it end up fuzzy peas?
How did you end up choosing that?
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Yeah, they they they come in the I guess the producers,
some of the producers. There's like nineteen thousand producers, right,
and so one of the producers comes in and yeah,
they present you the and they pitch the idea and
you're like, oh, okay, wow that sounds that's cute, that
sounds great. Yeah, So the fuzzy p it had it
(19:53):
had three faces, right, like three attitudes, and I was like,
oh my god, that's me. Sometimes I feel it's like
sometimes yeah, I'm happy all the time, I feel a
little like I want.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
To kick someone's ass on the next one.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
Yes, you know a little bit, you know. And yeah,
so it was it was a perfect costume. And it's
incredible because once you put on the costume, like I
don't know what it is, you just like you panic,
like I started panicking.
Speaker 1 (20:23):
Like it's claustrophobic. You can't see, and it's tight and
it's heavy, and you're just.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
Like and you go off, you go on stage and
everything you rehearse without the costume like just goes out
the window. Yeah, it's it's it's it's pretty scary. But
once the I don't know, once the music started playing
on the show that we that we taped live, I
don't know, it was like, uh, it was just like
turning on a switch. It was just fun. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
I love that. What's your youngest because I know you
have you have six kids.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
Right, yeah, eleven eleven?
Speaker 1 (20:54):
So they love watching it.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
Oh she's gonna be like, oh my gosh, yes, she's
she loves the show. She loves loves loves.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Yeah, that's so sweet. What so, you know, because I
feel like there's a lot of like for me at
least when behind the mask and when you can kind
of look at your life, what do you want people like?
What do you want people to know? Who's behind the mask?
Speaker 3 (21:20):
Yeah? A person who's free, a person who a person
who who has dealt with a lot, who who has overcome,
a person who is courageous, a person who who can persevere.
Like it sounds cheesy, but it's like literally my life
has been like really really hard, like like tough, you know,
and so being in the limelight for man, I was
(21:43):
counting the years, like thirty plus years since I since
I won the Olympic gold medal in ninety two, Like
life is still going and it's like it hasn't changed,
and it's like, my gosh, you sometimes feel like you
sometimes feel like, you know, I just want to I
just want to like go away for a couple of days,
you know, like three days and just like and just
be me, you know. And and that's exactly what I
(22:06):
what I felt because I did the Mask Dancer, and
those those feelings as well were like in me, like
nobody knows who I am. I'm having a good time.
I think that's probably like hiding behind the mask, because
I just love that people don't know who I am
so I can be myself.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Right. Have you done dancing with the Stars?
Speaker 3 (22:37):
No, that's no, No, I haven't.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Would you ever do that one?
Speaker 3 (22:42):
Oh my gosh, I have two left feet. I cannot.
You know what, I don't think I will because again,
the masks. I think the fact that people know who
I am, and when you're dancing out there and you
can see the crowd and they're reacting like, I'm like, no,
that's not for me. That's not for me.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
Right.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
No, for sure. If you when you look back on
your career, because it's been you know, like you said,
a long one, You've been through a lot. Was is
there one fight that you wish you could go back
to and have kind of a redo?
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Yeah? Yeah, I think it might be the Floyd Mayweather fight. Yeah.
I went up against Floyd. I was I was at
the tail end of my career. It was a super
super close fight, like it could have gone anyway. You know,
they they he got the decision, and so yeah, I
would have done it different. I probably would have fought
him when I was younger. Maybe you know, it would
(23:37):
have been host maybe a different outcome. I don't know
who knows, but yeah, I think, uh, I don't lose
sleep over it. But if I would have done that
one over, yeah, it would have been it would have
been the Mayweather fight.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
How old were you when you when you fought Floyd?
Speaker 3 (23:50):
How old was I? I was? Wow, I was I
thirty six, but I was like just I was an
older thirty six, meaning like I didn't take care of
my body. I was you know, you have the fame
and you're young, and you get money and you start
going out, and you know, you don't really pay attention
to to the job at hand, and that's training and fighting,
and so I was too preoccupied with other things, you know.
(24:13):
So yeah, my body was like just not not a
young thirty five.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Yeah, what do you think your biggest You said that
you've had a really hard life. What do you think
was the biggest challenges that you face? And then to
the in like today, you know, how are you kind
of coaching that into your to your kids?
Speaker 3 (24:34):
Yeah? Well you know what, Yeah, my life was very,
very very unique. I'd like to think that I became
I became this this this machine, like became this this
literally animal inside the ring to fight. It's all it's
fight or flight, and and and and my parents groomed
(24:55):
me for that, you know, I was. I was. I
grew up in a in a very difficult household, you know,
with my mother being abusive physically, and and you know,
my father like having to work, right he's he's like,
that's what he has to do. Put food on the table. Basically,
so we never saw him, we never never. He was
never there only unless it was in the gym. And
(25:18):
I'm talking when I was five, six, seven years old,
and so but I believe that prepared me to be
the machine I was inside the rain ever since I
was a kid. I mean, imagine flying out to Barcelona, Spain,
at sixteen years old and having to win an Olympic
gold medals like for your because my mom had already
(25:38):
passed away like a few months before I went to Barcelona,
so I dedicated the gold medal to her. And so
you can imagine the whole story in the Olympics. Was
Oscar doing it for his dying mother, you know, dying
from breastca So the pressure is already like building up,
and but you have to be strong. You have to
(25:59):
you know, you have to just stay strong and win.
And so you can imagine all the pressures over the years,
you know, but all that endurance, all that training at
home and in the gym obviously prepared me for everything
that I'm doing now.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
So right, and then with your kids, like what is
the best piece of advice that you give to your kids.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
It's it's just, you know, thrive to be independent, you know, yeah,
thrive to thrive to do whatever you want to do.
You know, that's basically it, whatever you feel that you
want to do. Like don't don't let anybody else tell
you what your career is going to be or what
(26:43):
your independence is going to be, like you know, like
figure it out yourselves, you know, because these little these
little munskins grow up and then they fly off, you know,
off to the sunset by by their on their own
and they create their own families, and so as as
they're growing up, you have to instill these these these
messages and them like look, you're worth it, You're you're
(27:06):
you can do this. You're strong enough, you you you
have support. All you have to do is apply it
and make it happen. And so independence to me is.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
Like everything, yeah for sure. So okay, So now that
the Mass Singer has wrapped, and I hate this question.
I hate getting asked it, like what's next? But like,
you know, do you think you'll go you know, will
you dabble back into music or are you just so
focused on all the other entrepreneurial things.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
That you're doing the world now you are.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
Quote unquote buzzy peace.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
Yeah, what's you know? What's funny is so I was
I was doing some digging, right, and because this Mass
Singer kind of like sparked.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
Something, yeah for sure.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
So I was thinking, wait a minute, I I really didn't.
I really didn't come out with like singles from my album.
I think it was just one that came out, the
cover song to uh who the begi is called run
to Me, and and I said to myself, my gosh,
there's like there's like eight or nine great songs on
that album. Why not like why not like remix it
(28:11):
kind of have like a ce Ioki or something mixed it,
you know, and and come out with some nice songs,
club songs. Yeah, I think that'll be pretty cool. Yeah,
because I own my master album like I own it.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
Yeah, that's amazing.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
Yeah, so I can do whatever I want with it.
So maybe I might do that, like create some some
club songs from those those singles.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
Yeah, I love he loves the club music. So that'll be.
That'll be.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
I'm fifty two, but I'm young at heart.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
Yeah, I love a bit of E.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
D M.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
And host I'm getting anxiety and please do.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
You know it's a shame. Is this a shame of
Vicci is no longer here?
Speaker 5 (28:49):
You could have done done a collub with a Viccy
on your on your singles.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
Oh my gosh. Yeah, and you know, and there's some
really really good songs. There's a song that Diane Warren wrote.
Diane Warren is like the huge god huge, yeah crazy.
She wrote this song called it's called with these Hands.
And when you listen to the song, yeah, it's talking
about my hands how like they can literally like knock
(29:14):
you out, but these hands can also hold you and
and and correct love you. Yeah, it's just incredible. Yeah,
she's a genius, he is.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Yeah, I know. We'll listen to a little Valentine's Day
Okay the closing, What witch fighter are are you do?
You love now, Like, who do you watch and root for?
Speaker 3 (29:39):
I'm a big Tyson Fury you know fan. He's from
the UK and they call the Gypsy Key.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (29:47):
I loved him because he's you know, he's a guy
that that also overcame a lot of a lot of
you know, trials and tribulations. He you know a lot
of demons, right. Yeah, he's he's a guy who my gosh,
he became the heavyweight champion of the world. Uh, he
overcame so many difficulty in his life. You know, I
(30:10):
was watching part of his his reality show I think
he has on Netflix so good and it's incredible. Yeah,
it's amazing. I looked up to him so much. It's like,
you know, when we are whenever we talk on the phone.
I've called him several times because I'm a big fan
of his and not what he's done inside the ring,
but outside the ring, and you know, it's like we
(30:31):
have such a great connection. He's a good guy, sincere guy.
And yeah, he's he's one of the guys I look
up to.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
Yeah, he suffles with it. Is it bipolar?
Speaker 3 (30:42):
Is it? Yeah? I'm not really too sure. Yeah, he
had he had mentioned that he had he was bipolar,
but him.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
On the wrong day in the ring.
Speaker 3 (30:50):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (30:51):
The documentary on the Netflix show is so interesting. The
dynamic with these family and things is good.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
It is very interesting because he does switch personalities on
camera and it's like whoa, Okay, I feel that same
way too.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
I think we can all identify with having a switch
of you know, because life hits us, our moods can change,
you know. I think I think we can all identify
with with a piece of that for sure. I know
there are definite layers and you know, different, but yeah,
but yeah, well, Oscar, thank you so much for coming on.
I mean, we totally enjoyed watching you and being able
(31:30):
to chat with you. You are fantastic, So thank you for
sharing a piece of your story too.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
Yeah, no, you're very welcome. Thank you for having me.
Do you guys have like a different like perspective on me,
like now that you know it was.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
Like the fuzzy p and I really honestly do. I mean,
I didn't know how you would be and I didn't know,
you know. I mean I haven't sound like I've really
chatted to a lot of boxers before, but what they're
they're most there are a lot of them are kind
of reserved and but and so I was like, oh man,
how's this interview going to be. I don't I didn't know,
And I wasn't going into it being like, oh, He's
(32:04):
going to be super open and and you know, full
of joy. But I'm just like, I'm really truly just shocked,
like how great you are. Like not that I didn't
think you wouldn't be, but I just didn't know.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
So thank you, guys. I appreciate it very very much.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
Yeah, if you're ever, if you're ever in Nashville, look
us up.
Speaker 2 (32:21):

Speaker 3 (32:26):

he's truly a fuzzy pee. I just like, like, what
a fuzzy pee?
Speaker 2 (32:35):
I love that the three different personalities.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
Yeah, now, I just like it just is so great.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
You're a fuzzy p babe me.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
Yeah you Oh, I just thought he was fantastic. You know,
I hope I didn't he didn't get offended by me
saying that.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
Like, no part of what you said, Okay.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
Well, because I just did you think he would be
like that?
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Well?
Speaker 5 (33:00):
Seeven the pact that we were sent through with some information.
You see his picture of his profile picture, and he
looks like huff and like.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
Look, I'm like, the last thing he probably wants to
do is be on a podcast, you know what I mean.
And he's just like I feel like he would have
kept talking to us.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
I wants. He's the best game face in the world. Now.
Speaker 5 (33:21):
He was great, and you can tell he's a people
that have been through a lot they can and obviously
I appreciate his struggles in life and now he's a
he's en of a stable, happy, balanced Yeah, it looks
for sure appreciates life, which.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
I wonder And there's so many more questions I wanted
to ask him, especially like with his mom and you know,
but then like his love for his mom too, So
how that like the butt, I was like, I'm going
to respect just the the whole thing of it. But
he was great. And I'm excited for next week because
I just now, I just have no idea who's going
to go home next and who's going to be Stay
