Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Will You Accept This Rose? A production of iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
We're being quiet.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
We're being gentle for various reasons that will not be
set on air. But we have to be a little quiet.
We have to be quiet. A sneaky episode. That's fun.
We're gonna sneak at you, guys. My parents are home
by podcasting exactly. Sorry. My cats are listening. Middens and

(00:27):
me how are scandalized? They can't listen to this? They're
innocent little treasures. Look at that. Look at Mitten's in
a jumpsuit. When I went in the PA said hi
to Mittens, and meow heard me say hi and came
literally screaming around the corner. Yeah, that's the thing. The
jealousy factor is high. Hello, well, good of another episode
of So This is My Name is Armory coming to

(00:49):
you from my bougie garage and cat sanctuary in Los Angeles, California.
I could not be more delighted. Guys, this is the
weirdest season of Bachelor and Paradise. We've only had four
rose ceremonies and next week is the finale in a
marriage You're like, when did they just decide never to
have any rose? Ceremonies. But well, let's not get to
that right now with me today. Uh oh, turn that

(01:11):
off with me today is a woman who we haven't
had on a little wiless Nices, because I've been gone
a slice to see you in person. I can't wait
to hear of what you thought about the Golden Bachelor.
I can't wait to hear what to hear what you
think about Bachelor in Paradise. You know her from twenty four,
you know her from it It's always sunny in p Philadelphia.
And she has a brand new podcast out that sounds

(01:32):
so cool. It's called the Woo You Do That Woo
you do that Woo you Do And it's about like
sort of like you're like your mystical secret that you
don't don't tell anybody for somebody, it might be crystals,
whatever it is that you do this sort of.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
You're written yourself a check for a million dollars.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Oh yes I have, I have, Yes, I have.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Have you prayed to moonwater and put it out I have.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Not, Ladies and gentlemen, Marylyn Rice Cup, that's the thing, Moonwater.
That's cool.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
And then one lady was like, I don't have any
woos and then we realized she cleaned everything. You know
what I mean, like we just fine, whatever your thing.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Is, who's the cleaner?

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Who's the cleaner? Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
My friend's wife. She wasn't on the podcast. Okay, okay, okay, okay,
but she was just like, I love the concept, but
I don't have one.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
What do they sell them in water?

Speaker 1 (02:12):
A trader Jaz, Yeah, you can.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Make your own water. I know, how do you get
you when it's a full moon? You just put your crystals.
I do it in a ramkin and you put your
crystals in a ramkin with some water.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Yeah. Okay, so with us the the ramkin. Woo you do, lady.
You know we're as the host of Lady to Lady
and a person who helped free Brittany, if I might say,
ladies and gentlemen, Tess Barker, Oh, that really wowed me.
That is a person who likes pop culture. That really
wowed me.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
It's really amazing. I listened to the audiobook and kind
of relived the wow of was a trip.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Listening to the audio book was a trip because I
always wondered like how she found out, like what exactly
the moment was like from her end and so that
was it was really and cool.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
To hear ladies and gentlemen. Also with us is a man.
He is a friend of the podcast. We love him,
you love him. He's one of the greatest writers that
I know. And as I always say, he writes for
women like no straight man that I noticed. He can
write female protagonists with with complexity and flaws and humor
and empathy. Should all men write like you for ladies,

(03:25):
ladies and gentlemen. My friend, producer writer Bill Kanslor.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Thank you. True story, true story. Nice for you to say.
It doesn't I tell my wife what she should say
to me, and that doesn't work.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
No, yeah, exactly. They don't like that. Women don't like that.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
I'm not sure. Yeah, maybe what you say.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
On the page. On the page, I have a question test, Okay.
But also with us now, Anna's unfortunately gonna be gone
the rest of the season. She is touring with all
the Workaholics guys. She's on fire. I think Adam Devine is.
I think they're new bfms, which is so cute. I
know they like, Yeah, they like go to the gym
together at the hotel. I know they go to like

(04:01):
like I think they've been to some museums. I think
that's her pal. She really likes. It's funny when you
make a road pal, that's her road pal. It's not cute.
But with us as a woman that we jador she is.
She is the reason that we are here. She is
also a friend who all ate animals, ladies, and a man.
Katie Levine, I'm not drunk. I'm just overtired. I stayed

(04:22):
out late last night. It was my movie premiere last night.
Year guys later today, Thank you. It's so fun. Step aside.
Now here's the thing. I don't even know if it's
on Amazon yet. So here's how you do it. You
go to step aside the movie dot com. It's gonna
be on Amazon in the next couple of days. They
thought it was gonna be yesterday. It's in the next
couple of days. But you can go to step aside

(04:43):
the movie dot com. It was super fun. It was
a crazy premiere. I've I felt like I was chaperoning
a middle school dance at the after party because it
was like I think if I had been like eleven,
I would have been really I was like all these
TikTok influencers that I don't know who I anybody is.
And at the after party, here's the thing. They kept

(05:03):
playing songs that we knew, but all these like little
kids know all the words too, from like dirty songs
from like two thousand and four. And then they all
would then like they would all then jump into there's
all of them would no choreographed dances to it from
like TikTok. So the entire it was like a flash
mob all night of one song after the next of

(05:24):
like apple Bottom Jeans the song and it's a great song.
I love that song. I know these songs. They know
all of them. I mean literally, so like there was
like a little girl. There was maybe literally like eight
or nine. There was a song that was like meet
me at the hotel, meet me at the motel. I'm like, no,

(05:44):
don't meet you at the hotel or the motel. Then
they had like they had like eight and no holler
back girl. They knew all of the genuine my pony,
I don't know my singing it the magic song, sing
it kid, no, no, no, no, no pony, no no, no, no,
no no. I would be scared.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
It was.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
This is no look I had, I had, I freakin'
darling Nikki from Prince, which is the dirtiest.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Yeah, so but like, look, if I I would be
so disgusting if I was a child, I would know
all and like looking at these kids and they're like
sparkly outfitted. I mean they were adorable. But I was like,
I wish that that would have been my dream. They
were so cute. But it was like, oh the fun
of being a kid right now is they all there's
all these like numbers that all of them know, and

(06:37):
that the after party was wild because most of them
are very It was pat I mean I can't even
let me just show you one second of this and
then we'll keep I mean it was so fucking crazy.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
Are you saying that when you're a kid now you
know a lot of numbers?

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Yes, I.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Think so. It was so cute. This is at the
after party. This is just one of the many songs
and they're all in scene.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Wow, it's incredible.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
It's so impressive, Like the whole night, every song they
all it was like the Thriller video all of a
sudden zombies of Glee. Yeah, it was wild.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Hating on this literally, I was like people do people
do they hate on TikTok and the influence. I gotta
tell nobody else's learned numbers?

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Can I tell you? Yes?

Speaker 3 (07:23):
And it's making me feel good about it?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
I tell you it was.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
They all are singers and dancing.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
It was fun.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Did you try to jump in it?

Speaker 1 (07:31):
And I did? Obviously obviously Are you kidding me? Have
you spent telling me?

Speaker 4 (07:35):
I was pretty sure? But here's the thing, the numbers.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
No, I don't, I don't. I made the error of
not bringing sneakers, so I was in a lady heel.
So I was doing my best, but oh, I kept
diving in. I realized, Like at the actual premiere, they
were excited to see me at the dance floor. They like,
get out of the way, lady, Like, you don't mean
you're like your fun when we're there. We just saw

(08:00):
the movie. Now we don't really care, like you don't
fucking know the moves. Like anyway, final question before we
get going, Uh, how are you feeling about Brittany right now?

Speaker 2 (08:10):
I'm happy she's free.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Okay, great, she's not married, she's I think that's good.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Okay, she with a guy right now? No, okay, she
does gonna lose. I think good. Fresh start, he's kind
of a hold the old boy husband was kind of
a holdover from.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
The kids are with her.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
No, that's kind of a sad story. I mean he's Yeah,
she she's been through a lot. And I'll say this too,
Please don't DM me asking what's going on with her.
I don't know her, and I think, look, if she
after everything that woman has lived for doing right now. Yeah,
but if she wants to dance naked on Instagram, I
think that's literally her prerogative. People can unfollow her if

(08:49):
they don't want to see her naked on Instagram. That's
clearly what she wants to do right now.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
I have to say I feel that way more after
listening to her book, after realizing like, oh, because you
do you do that reaction to somebody, because I still
had her in my mind from years ago, and it's like, no,
she's a fully grown person who lived a really weird,
really messed up life, and this is how her expressions,
expression is coming out and she needs it and good
for her. And that's you know, she doesn't she doesn't have.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
Anything her mirror. She's brave enough to put it out there.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
She's her daughter has been out there so it's not
a thing to her because it is, you know.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
And it's been put out there by other people for
so long. Ys, this doesn't surprised me that she wants
to feel that she's taking agency of it and deciding
to put it where she wants to put.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
It into it. Now, none of us could.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Possibly, no other human on the planet could possibly have
an inkling of what it has been like to be
Britney Spears. What is a normal reaction to being Britney Spears? No,
nobody knows.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
We'll also want to know that no one, I'm sorry,
and we will get to the Bachelor, but like to
know that to know that your own fan like that,
no one like that they were using her like they
were making making her work and making money off of
her like a prize cow.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Or she was trafficked by her father.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Yeah, so that is like, so like who do you trust?
What I mean, so like I can actually almost.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Never had a good relationship with who was never a
good guy from that from the onset was like oh no,
and it continued.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
For years, yes, years, yeah, and was failed by I
mean the justice system had access to that information. I mean,
she can't trust lawyers. Yeah, he industry has fucked with her.
Who does she try exactly?

Speaker 4 (10:19):
That's you're saying. I have a daughter and she's very talented,
and I'm thinking of signing to such a deal when
I get is that bad?

Speaker 1 (10:27):
It's probably bad, It's probably not.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
Like Okay, Okay, I'm glad I got this advice.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Well, let me ask you guys, you also are an
alcoholic and emotionally unavailable and kind of abusive, and that
that goes.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
That he works in comedy. He works in comedy, you guys. Also,
before we get going, we were talking about Gary Golden Bachelor.
Very happy for them. I'm happy for them. They seem
like they're genuinely happy. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (10:51):
This Instagram, he he's posted photos with her.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
He posted photo Neil Lane.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
That's cute the most like grandpa way that he posted
a photo him and Neo Lane and it was like
cutting off half of this.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
I hope he never gets a social media manager. Please
give us old Grandpa content all the time. I'm gonna
throw it all to the team overall. Where you did
you enjoy the season? Were you happy with it? Who
are you rooting for to be Golden Bachelorette. I'll start
with you mary Lynn.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
I absolutely love the season. I would I'm I'm a
little bit over Leslie, but I would still love to
see her.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Okay, why.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Because of her what we were talking about off air,
just that the drama and the I'm not chosen, but
I want.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
To see her.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
You want to see that?

Speaker 3 (11:36):
Okay, and come out again? I would, you know, I'd
like to see Ellen. I'd like to see I.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Want to see a seven year old. I feel like
we got a seven year old man. I feel Leslie
is gonna have no problem getting a guy I want
to see. I mean, not that Gary. I want to
see you have seventy year old like she is sixty
or maybe I'm wrong, she could be sixty five. I
think she's sixty and I want to I want somebody
this the same age. That's like maybe because I think

(12:03):
my mom and I get protective of her and she
was so cute that it's like I want an older,
sparkly lady that might not have a dating pool to
have a chance.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
So who is your pick?

Speaker 1 (12:12):
I guess Ellen?

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Really?

Speaker 1 (12:14):
I think so?

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Yeah? But are there any are there any single men.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
That age as you.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
Weren't unmarried comic book collectors?

Speaker 1 (12:23):
There has been there might be even some slightly younger.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
And I love a cougar situation.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
I want to get cougar situations too. And and I
also think that like there, you know all you need,
you just seed twenty guys in America or from Canada
or whatever to be twenty there.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
This is controversial. I am going to say this. I
would not have said this for the male bachelor, but
I think the woman should get to have like forty
year olds.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
I agree with you. I agree with you, you know fifty,
give her fifty or not get fifty. I have a fifty.
How who would you like to see? Tests?

Speaker 2 (12:55):
I like Leslie too, and I know that that's controversial
with this, but you both I think. I think Leslie
was a good time. She kind of gives me almost
like Caitlyn's one of my favorite bachelorettes of all the time.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
I'm like obsessed with her.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
I think Leslie kind of has Caitlin vibe because she's
a dancer. She's a dancer, she's fit, she's like hot,
she's fun. I think that like she's she parties without
getting messy. Yeah, Caitlyn didn't get messy.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Butaitlin was my favorite bachelor I love I love.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Kaitlyn, so I feel like I get kind of that
vibe with Leslie, which again, she wasn't the right fit
for Gary for that reason, Like if you can't drive
on the one on one, you probably can't ride Leslie. Yeah,
but yeah, but I was surprised that he for that reason.

(13:38):
I was surprised that he didn't choose her because I
thought they had a really sexy time in the fantasm.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
I thought her, Yeah, I did too, But then when
I do wonder if her her inability to when he
kept saying forever, I think you could feel when somebody's
talking themselves into it, Like I think he was the
guy because every in her family was like, well, you're
really different than who she like she had the sexy chef.

(14:04):
It was prince. It was like like like I think
she's like I should. Yes, he's like an old shoe
this is.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Yes, the old shoe killer. Yeah, that was I.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Think she was turning herself into because he was kind,
But I don't think I don't think her chemicals were
jingled by him.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
I don't think so either, because he's like, he is
an attractive man, but you can just tell that that's
not the kind of guy she's attracted, but.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
I think that Teresa was horny for him.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Yeah, yeah, and I think Teresa's more the female version
of Gary, like I think they do fit together.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Okay, Bill, who are you rooting for for Bachelorette?

Speaker 4 (14:35):
Oh my god, I think I am rooting for uh
uh the other Ellen?

Speaker 1 (14:41):
No?

Speaker 4 (14:41):
No, the Italian woman who the Chris Jenner.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
I love that she would be fun. It would be
so fun.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Yeah, I think that it isn't Leslie in the ad
would be great. You're going to go for her? I
hope so, you guys, when we were watching this season,
it was it was like ten times more emotional than
any you know, it's just so head.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
It was my favorite season I've ever watched. And I
couldn't believe how how much respect and dignity the producers actually,
how they treated, how they got it right. They didn't
do Depends jokes, they didn't do Walker's jokes like they
treated them. I like, some people were like, oh, they
shouldn't have them in the bunk beds. I actually liked
that they didn't. There were options that were Laura. I'm
sure if somebody really couldn't get up there, but like

(15:27):
I like that they're treated them young, you know, like.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
They didn't do they they did a slight bit about that.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
But just enough to make it cute.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
And and I do open on his hearing aid, which
which I love.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
Who killed me? I loved? Oh my god? Maybe Cat
Steven's Katie Levine? What do you have to stay?

Speaker 3 (15:45):
I Susan would be a great bachelor.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Susan would be great. Uh what was? Ellen would be great?
Joan would be great. I don't know. There's I thought
it was a great season over all of them, and
I think I hope they're happy. And I wanted to
get to know more. The first one out of the limo,
who was Edith? Who was so hot? Edith her we
didn't get to know. Dude, she was she she was gorgeous.

(16:13):
I think he likes Brunette.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
You know who else was really gorgeous too? Was the
Indian woman.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Apparently she self eliminated.

Speaker 4 (16:20):
That's what I say, Like she was just gone one week.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Marina happened. Marina was gorgeous. Isn't her name? She was gorgeous.
I think I think it was after the first night.
I think she had a family emergence. I think she
had a family thing like the other woman.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Who the woman who missed her kid's wedding.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
That was that was My brother had a My brother
liked Sondra.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
She was pretty.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
She was my brother's top choice. She was seventy five.
She was seventy five. Sodra would be incredible. All right,
here we are. Yeah, no, it's only a one hour episode.
I can't believe we're at the finale next week.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
What's happened?

Speaker 1 (16:57):
It feels it almost also having both of these at
the same time. I feel like in a weird way,
because Paradise is my favorite of the franchise, But then
Golden Bachelor was so great that I actually almost feel
like is watered down Paradise for people. I think they
did themselves a just I don't think they realized how
good Golden Bachelor was going to be and programming them

(17:17):
at the same season. I don't think people care about
The Bachelor Paradise as much.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Right now, we're only human. We only have so many hours.
I mean, normal batch, we're in for what at least
three hours a week?

Speaker 4 (17:28):
Yes, well, with the Golden Bacher they can only they
couldn't air past nine because their audience wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Be when you watch the Golden Bachelor.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
That's a hard transition to get to be I p
After that.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
I do wonder maybe I'll look to find this, like
what was the audience, Like what was the median age
for the audience for Golden Bachelor? Because I felt like
I was seeing mainly young people talking.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
About it was the most watched one they ever had.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
On Hulu.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Is all the ads being for like shingles, shingles vaccine.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
And so I'm just like, shingles doesn't.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Because I feel like on the actual TV that's who's
people at cable. The parents on cable are watching it,
and then kids watch it on her.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
I was watching watch it.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
You're too young, I've asked. Okay, so here we go.
This is the week of tough conversations. Okay, let's start
with Blake and Jess. So Blake and Jess, it's been rocky.
So we started off. Just read what happened. If we
all recall Katie the stand up comedian Boo came back and.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Somebody needed somebody needed a roast master that I want
to jump into my laptop and do it myself.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Dude.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
It was it was, it was it was fun, brutal.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
And then I went down a rabbit. Her first stand
up set was last year, and I found it. She
does dating material but doesn't talk about the BA in
the dating material that she was the Bachelor.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
No, no, no, I don't want that. Literally, that's insane.
Are you serious? Yes, that's all you should talk about.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
It's so awkward.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
Yeah, that's why people are there, That's why people want They.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
All of your sets for the next three to five
years can be about that.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
And I was killed for that. Yeah, oh my god.
So then so then he's like Blake was like, yesterday
was a weird day. It was weird, like my ex.
I had all the feels with Katie of what can
happen here. You know, I've had a taste of what
love is on this show, but I'm not getting there,
you know, I feel like I'm this was actually our

(19:31):
I actually I have been surprised at how Bone or
Blake that they had to put a black bar on
his dick during like his seat because he got so
aroused during the pandemic at the at the Lacina Resort
playing Paradise. He said, I feel like I'm playing Paradise.
You know, we had a great start, but then it
just sort of festered and we're just sort of circling

(19:52):
and I'm feeling like it's not going to work. Are
we just waiting for it to end? And then I'm
surprised that Jess didn't actually start crying or anything. And
there was no admission that she made out with Tyler ever.
But she's like, she's like, look it was I mean,
he was off making up with somebody else on the date.
But still she didn't no one ever said that. She's like, look,

(20:13):
it was good in the beginning, but then we stopped
having fun and I wanted to see it through.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
She said, you stopped having fun. By the way, Yeah,
that stuck out to me because I was like, why
are you making it like he did this? Baby freaking baby.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Jess going okay, baby Jess, is that child literally, baby Jess,
when you're when you're actually an adult woman and you're
just like I was like, maybe I didn't have podcasts
now like okay, She's like, I thought I would be
hopelessly in love, but I know how to keep going.
I know, I don't know how to end something. Once
I begin, it shouldn't be this hard. There is truth
in what you were saying. You made me feel comfortable.

(20:52):
I hope you know how hard this is not for
baby Jess. No hard feelings. I was numb for years,
Baby Jess. I care about you a lot. You and
your baby glitter can go and just crying, and.

Speaker 4 (21:03):
She does know how to end. It's glitter and self sabotage.
And then because that's what she did, literally.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
And then Kylie ran after him in a sexy manner,
was like, don't go on the table, on the table,
all of this is on the table.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
I need I need to talk about this. Watching it
in isolation.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
You need to have me tell us or I've been
in New York.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
Why did she sexy?

Speaker 1 (21:29):
I mean k Kylie? Kylie?

Speaker 3 (21:31):
Yeah, we've seen that a little in the very little
where the where the person who's the confidant will be like,
don't go. But Kylie, we've never seen her.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
What's your theory only because of the coming attractions that
we saw in there. Yeah, so we can see that
at least they're implying from the coming attractions that it's
not going to go well for the two of them,
for Kye Kylie and the guy.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
And those coming.

Speaker 4 (21:58):
So I'm I'm thinking that. I mean, I don't know
she had an actual plan to move on the plan
B if it doesn't work out with them, but I
think she was having a feeling for him as if
he was in second position. It was pretty clear there
was like she really liked him.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
It was like horny, like like I say that a
lot on the podcast. I'm sorry, horny, Yeah, stop being you.

Speaker 5 (22:22):
I actually felt like it was more because we see
that a lot of the women go to Blake to
talk about their problems that they're having in their own relationship.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
But Nick Viale became that this season. He was on
because he became the best. They are over thirty years
old and ye are adult and a little bit tall. Yes,
because like we see Rachel talking to him a lot,
and we saw he's a man, he's he's also.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
Kind of like a blank canvas, right because there's nothing.
I mean, watching that scene between the two of them
was like watching two milk jugs do Ibsen. So I
think with guys like that, you can kind of project,
like you can think you're getting more than you're actually getting.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
Well, I was gonna say, I think they just like
having them around, and I think that's why Kylie was like, no, no,
the hell have no one to talk to about my problems.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Yeah, I don't know. I kind of.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
I was weird the other look.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
I thought it a little sexy baby at sexy baby,
like I wouldn't want to watch Mike.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
I kept saying the same thing, and he and you
could tell he wasn't going to It's like cut this already.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
They and then they like, he like kisses.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
It was weird.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
No, it did feel sexy. I would not want to
watch my boyfriend run after my sexy friend, you know
what I mean to be like, I don't know who's missing.
I did see on Instagram Marylynn Marilynn you know, like,
no I need you hear Marylyn don't. And I watched
back like fuck, why were you cheasing? Like that's weird.
I'm watching this bag? Why are you being sexy to

(23:47):
my friend? I saw that Blake and Rachel were hanging
out on Instagram. Oh okay date actually actually okay, we'll
get to Rachel on a second. Because it doesn't.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Realize that she's doing sexy baby. She thinks she's coming
across as caring.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Yeah, she said, okay, you're my friend. I want you
to be happy.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
I finally bought it towards them, like to me my
read of it, Like I started out thinking she was
ramping up to like try to say yeah, but then
it kind of did turn into a weird like brother
sister kind of like bro say, so I was very confused.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
What are the odds that she's actually being genuine and
kind and I don't know, honestly.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Legitimate friends and we are just when.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Is there not an ulterior motive on this show? But
but you know, okay.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Question can we talk about baby Jess and and and
Tyler and the fact that nobody ever acknowledged and they
never spoke, never talk about their like make it, I
want to be with you and then like and also
by the way, like okay, so they break up, Tyler
is still there, like I just like the whole, like

(24:54):
baby Jess is still around.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
Like that Chis must have sucked and there was that.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Must have been a bad kid.

Speaker 5 (25:01):
Tyler might not be a good kisser because he's just
so hot and he's so like fit that I could
see him just like thinking he's really all talking something.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
Yes, exactly. He's one of those guys that as soon
as you kiss him. He's just like right and his
tongue is like all over and you're just like well,
doctor banana, doctor doctor doctor doctor. Branana was saying that
he felt like an all uh men's men's rights matter
guy like me.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
Isn't it weird when you remember Tyler from Rachel season was.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
Like the carney he was, but when he was.

Speaker 4 (25:35):
When she sent him home because she wasn't going to
meet his parents, seemed like this pathetic little puppy.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Yes, because he worked, he had a carnival stall, he
had a car, he has a stall on the boardwalk you.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
Can go from, and everyone was on his side. One
felt bad for him, and now he's well, look a lout.
You know, it's amazing.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
Look we met John. We met James Taylor. If you
recall from JoJo's seasons, he met James Taylor after it
happened and like and like by that point because he
was so sweet and he was the guy that was
never He actually was the good version of when what
sort of leslie is like nobody picks me because you
actually believed it, Like he's the friend, he was the

(26:16):
friend zone. He was sort of the dorky dude. He
had the song. He was sweet as can be, but
like around cool guys, he's the guy that doesn't get
picked and so then all then his damns got flooded
and this guy just went on a tear and he
talked about it on podcasts. I mean he talked about
like like a lot, a lot a lot of women

(26:38):
and then like these guys just get like ruined, like
and so like they go from being the maybe like
a sweet pee to the I mean, like the amount
of women did you meet? James was there and he
kind of saw he right.

Speaker 2 (26:52):
I think when you have those low self astem is
shoes and then it does get magnified by attention. Yeah,
it could be a huge recipe for disaster. We've seen
all seen that.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
While yeah, are not.

Speaker 5 (27:01):
Coming to him for the right reasons, like the women
are not into him or.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
You or I think I do also think some of
the women think maybe they are. Maybe some of the
women are like, oh, this is the nice guy. Maybe
they're like it's not like it's not like the haughty bubulati.
It's like, oh, like this is the good guy. Like
you're I'm a nice lady. But then there's like everybody that's.

Speaker 4 (27:23):
What happened to Tyler. I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
Yeah, yeah, well you guys, any final things on Blake, Jess.

Speaker 4 (27:31):
What you what is the female?

Speaker 1 (27:34):
She's a child. She seems very sweet, she's very cute,
but she is too young, you know what I think
it's like. And it's not even like a number thing.
It's like, she's very cute, she's very sweet. It's mature.
Like at that age, I was already like I lived
out of my parents' house for a long time. I
was on a show like I was self sufficient, you
know what I mean. I was like I I was

(27:58):
twenty I was he just her twenty two? Oh my god,
wow yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:03):
Yeah, unbelievable that I've known you that long.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
I know.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
It's good.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
Yeah, just her twenty two. So it's like like I
had I had my shit together, you know what I mean,
in a way that she seems like I mean like
she again, she's very nice, like yeah, I hope the
best for her, but she seems like she still lives
with her parents, you know, and it's like it just
feels like and also I just think they weren't a
good fit. I think Blake needs someone more mature. I
think she needs to just kind of be single and

(28:29):
get to know herself and maybe date casually and you know,
see what she likes and doesn't like. But here's yeah,
she's sweet.

Speaker 4 (28:36):
Here's just your thing about that, because it seems like
like when Blake and when he was leaving and Kylie
Kylie were talking, he kind of admitted that he was
into her more than she was in there and that
was weird too, and and that so when he brought
all of this up but with her, he never kind
of yeah, said that because I think he was trying
to grab the steering wheel and say.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
I'm out of Well, I don't blame him because because she.

Speaker 4 (28:58):
I think he was into her.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Well, I think early on, there's a guy who doesn't
care for girls. It feels like if she didn't really
care though, no.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
No, no, Early on she kept being indifferent and wanted
to go explore and wanting She was the one that
asked for space. So he went on that date that
he didn't really want to go on with Genevieve, like
and there's.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
No pleasing her. She wanted to explore. It could be
a metaphor for the she lives with her parents or
she hasn't like experienced life, and then she doesn't want
to explore, and then you explore and you still don't
know what you want and you still haven't really had
the experience and doing it on Bachelor in Paradise and
then you make out and you're like, oh, but I
doesn't work.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
Either, won the show and everyone else around you is
quote unquote falling in love dress. She brought an engagement
your friends, she brought an engage. Did you convince yourself
you are?

Speaker 4 (29:50):
He was saying to her, this isn't working for me.
But what he really meant was, it's clearly not working
for you.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
And I'm I think it's also this isn't working for me,
that you clearly don't like men exactly why.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
But he didn't say those last words.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
But what's the point. I mean, I think that's enough to.

Speaker 4 (30:06):
Go as pathetic as possible. Yeah, that's always my goal?
Is that is that not that's not what we should
be going for. Am I doing this wrong?

Speaker 2 (30:15):
I will say this Jess's body Glitter because it's been trying.
Bodyglitter has been trying to make a comeback for the
last day and finally I was like, it works, and.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
By the way it spread all over. It started on her,
started on her over the page, or we're gonna take
a quick break, we'll be right back, and we're back.

(30:45):
So Mercedes is upset, understandably because everybody in the truth Box,
which I feel like it was such a not great storyline,
but the truth Box of like Tayler Shady. I mean
it's like, clearly Tyler and just told people that they

(31:06):
made out and nobody told me Sade and everybody.

Speaker 4 (31:10):
My truth box is battered and covered with tape as well.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Everyone. By the way, I also love that like Wells
did that, Like they could have just given him a
new box and they made him. They made Wells tape
it back together, hammer and nails. Well, yes he did
the podcast like they let that wasn't even a bit.
They were like, well you can face like there's not
another box, insila something.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
Like that totally sticks out. I mean maybe that's why
they did.

Speaker 4 (31:35):
It, so it would be that's a funny choice. But
if they did it because they're that's even I.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
Don't think there was another box.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
It was so wild, So there's them breaking the fourth
wall if you do sometimes Yeah, like they're not.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
It kind of felt like it was like the sort
of felt like this is the box, and this is
our box that we had, and we're not like.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
That's your that's the budget for the box. You're the
one that asked for it. If you wanted, you got
buy your own box.

Speaker 3 (31:57):
Props is acting out. He shouldn't have thrown our box
was false to well repair it. However, you was so unattractive.
That was the the bag you were.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
The box was so unattractive. Meanwhile, so basically the box
without saying it, is like Tyler was like horny for
and making out with Jess and and like while he
was dating you, and I mean, to be fair to Jess,
she and Blake were exploring other options. Tyler was sort

(32:26):
of with Mercy. She was with Mercedes and yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
Did she have any dates or any attention after Tyler?

Speaker 1 (32:32):
No, she was she locked in, Yes, and he saw
a raccoon on their date and it was good luck religion.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
Sometimes stupid people say things that make me feel like
I'm a stupid one. Am I supposed to know raccoons
are good luck?

Speaker 1 (32:46):
I know, must drive you crazy, I know when we
have so then Kylie. By the way, no one uses
the boom Boom room anywhere.

Speaker 4 (32:56):
I was gonna ask, what the hell.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
Nobody's even horny? Give me, give me a Kenny and
anybody you know what I mean, Kenny.

Speaker 3 (33:03):
How many weeks is shooting? Total?

Speaker 1 (33:05):
Great question?

Speaker 4 (33:06):
Do you think they are using it? But they're not,
they're not.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
Showing Wells was saying that a lot of them are now.
The gen Z is so aware of their branding, which
I understand, like they're like they're actually savvy enough to
be like my parents are going to watch this, I'm
not doing it.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
But twenty four to seven, you're at the stow.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
There's a room and this person and you're not fucking them. Yeah,
or even like cuddling and spending the night in the
bed like you. It's crazy, it's I mean, I'm with Katie,
but like, let's just say for whatever, let's say even
just like spending the night alone in a bed, like
just sleeping next to that.

Speaker 4 (33:40):
But I think that there may be like a puritanical
push on bat like from the network because I'm ashamed
to say that, but I'm ashamed to say I watch
Love Island, but they love Island every.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
So do they not do it? And really even they
even on the British version zip, You're not not even do.

Speaker 3 (34:01):
You think it's something that they explicitly are telling people.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
No, this is a younger generation. I think that they
don't have sex. My friend. My friend texts me about
this because she when I mentioned this, so I said,
I read it was The La Times had two articles
recently about how younger people are just not happy. So
they're sexier online the pictures, and they don't even want
to watch sex on TV. They're not into it.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
They want to see kind of generation raising.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
Food about it.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
That's what's happening.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
We're going to enter the.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
I think a lot of it is based on I'm like,
they take sexy pictures and you get your kind of
sparky validation through comments like it's almost with yourself. You're like,
you're hoardy for yourself because like it's like your own
image putting it out there, and like, but it's not
nobody's actually like hooking up.

Speaker 4 (34:50):
Correct me if I'm wrong, But isn't sex really fun
remembering it? I shouldn't say that, I'm kidding.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
They just watch a lot of porn.

Speaker 5 (35:02):
I think covid, Like in the article, it was yeah,
like porn, porn and COVID and but yeah, so much.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
Effort and output into the video and yourself, and you're
to actually go and be like and.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Make eye contacts with another person in a way that's
not just with yourself and your phone.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
But isn't the pool towards like sex and drugs, Like
isn't that Sirens song just irresistible to every human being?

Speaker 4 (35:27):
It's all in theory change.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
I think drugs are happening and drugs are God.

Speaker 5 (35:33):
The interesting thing to me was the article about how
kids don't want to see sex on TV and movies.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
They're like, no, no, we just want to see like
friend relationships. And I'm just like, what Kylie and Tyler review.
There's a relationship reveal. The relationship has to have we
have to have a big, real conversation. So she's saying, oh, yeah,
so so Kylie was talking to Kylie. Kylie and Tyler
talked for a second. Yes, I think so and so

(35:58):
then so then Mercedes she like I Mercedes is upset
and then she's so then she's like, so she's like,
we haven't gotten deeper with each other, and she's she
goes to talk to him and she's like, there's no depth, Like,
like I don't feel wanted at all. You've never touched
my leg until just now, like you've never come at me,
and you said that distance isn't an option for you.

(36:19):
But everybody here lives in basically different cities, so like why, like, like,
why would you come beyond the show? I feel like
the way What she didn't say was like, it feels
like you're here just for like fame and Instagram followers.
What she kept saying was for a flame, but like
what it really feels like is like fame. And she's like,
are you here for a fling? He's like she's like,

(36:43):
He's like, I came here because I wanted something, but
I haven't seen anything from you. She's like, well you
haven't tried. She's like, is there a spark with us?
And he was like no, She's like and then he's
like oh. She's like so she goes, so why did
you give me the roe? She's like, well, I'll give
you the I gave the rose, wondering like is the

(37:04):
spark going to calm? And she's like, Tyler, that's such
a bad sign.

Speaker 6 (37:08):
No spark, no spark, Tyler, you have to have some
raccoon and no spark and then she's like, I we
write that down as the title A raccoon and no spark.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
So then she said, I feel used. There is something
that just feels so off.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
I just feel like, okay, dial it back a little bit.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
But I found like something that was so off was
she was sensing the Jess thing that wasn't said to her.
She knew something, she could tell something that she didn't know.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
But I think she did know. When she's saying, you
didn't put your hand on my knee, it's like when
you when one of your friends is saying exactly what
the problem is, but as a question, it's like you're
answering your question, right. And like when she kept repeating
no spark, my I felt her self esteem in my heart,
just leaving her like just sit there, and I thought
sorry for her.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (37:55):
I wonder if Mercedes is a little bit like Jess,
but she's just not so external. She's she's much more
poised because remember when she was like, oh I'm into will,
Oh I'm in the like a little bit, she's doing
it to herself.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Yeah, she was really Kylie and Mercedes were highly desired
early on.

Speaker 3 (38:12):
Yeah, so Mercedes has had a lot of chances. Really,
I think with people, she's had more of a connection
with Yeah than Tyler ever, right, so why is she
blaming it all on Tyler?

Speaker 1 (38:24):
I think when people play it wrong and early on
there's too many options, and they play it wrong, then
they're waiting for something like our fuck boy. Uh Tanner,
you know what I mean, when people like for a moment,
are like the chosen one and then they play it wrong.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
This felt like the episode where all of that was
imploding for all the people that went that.

Speaker 1 (38:43):
Yes, yes, well I felt I felt you're.

Speaker 3 (38:47):
Right because you got to ride the wave. You can't
couple up too soon, but you can't couple up too late.

Speaker 1 (38:52):
Yeah you can't.

Speaker 4 (38:53):
Like it's not about picking sides, but if you had
to pick sides.

Speaker 3 (38:56):
Mercedes Mercedes Mercedes, really because just say between Mercedes and Tyler.

Speaker 4 (39:01):
In that in that in that conversation, the way I
went down.

Speaker 2 (39:04):
Yes, mercedeses.

Speaker 3 (39:06):
I mean, I do think that immaturity of her, it's
a little she's a little like Jess in the emotionality,
she's a little like what's her name? Kat? I mean,
I hate to say that, no one's like Cat, but
like but in the sense of like I want to
be wanted. It's like, Okay, but here's you guys, weren't
that you weren't that serious about him? Really, even though
I do genuinely feel bad for Mercedes.

Speaker 4 (39:28):
Maybe this is a divide. I was gonna say gender,
but gender is fluid on it. Yeah, maybe this is
the like, I I'm not sure that, like, you can't
force things, and I get like, there are different people
at different paces, or people who who grow in love
after a while. Like it's not crazy to think that
he was like it, because it didn't seem like he was,
you know, I mean he did kiss Jess.

Speaker 3 (39:49):
What they're playing out in that conversation, the truth box
thing they're playing out you're not that into me, but
they're using a bunch more words. That's all she would say.

Speaker 4 (39:57):
She was accusing him of essentially like whe to her.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
He did though he didn't tell her about He didn't
tell her about making up a jazz.

Speaker 4 (40:03):
But that's what she was talking about. You was talking
about that, the attraction that there was, the attraction that
there was to say.

Speaker 2 (40:08):
Point blank, no spark. It's like, to me, that means
you did know that you're not attracted to the spark.
It's not. It didn't feel ambivalent.

Speaker 5 (40:14):
Because a spark is at the beginning of meeting. Yeah,
because right when you meet.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
Someone, but a spark.

Speaker 4 (40:18):
But a spark can grow, you know. And by the way,
well I guess he did say there was a spark
the first night.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
He said, literally, I love can grow. I think a
spark has to be Honestly, as a woman, if a
guy said to me there's no spark, I would feel
so awful. You liked a guy that I like for
a couple of weeks, I would feel think about it
like I have no spark for you. Basically, like you're like,
I'm not warning for you so bad.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
Don't say it that way.

Speaker 1 (40:47):
Yeah, there's no sparks.

Speaker 4 (40:49):
But we're guys. That's what we do. We say things wrong. Yeah, yeah,
even your precious Golden Bachelor Gary, I think the way.
But you love him right yeah?

Speaker 1 (41:03):
Oh he was brutal.

Speaker 4 (41:05):
So what we do from path of men? I apologize?

Speaker 1 (41:08):
Okay, Katie, what are you any final thoughts on Tyler
and Mercadie.

Speaker 5 (41:12):
No, they just like they're just there. I mean I
think she liked him, but he's there just to hang
out with friends.

Speaker 1 (41:18):
On a beach and be on TV. Okay, I agree
with you. I actually think I think we have a
toned down version of James Taylor, and I think this
show has corrupted our Tyler. I actually feel like he
just was there. He just wanted to hang with this bros.
I like the feeling I get because otherwise he would
have gone after Jess, he would have for someone. But
I think I think they get addicted to the show.

(41:40):
Yes you do.

Speaker 2 (41:41):
And I always forget about like the invisible Bachelor universe,
which is like we need to consider that that plays
into all of the Bachelorism of everything, right, Like there's
this unseen social world where they're all the time each other.
So you're gonna have fomo if like half of your
bros Are going down to Mexico, how could there not.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
Be a reality show where they picked like ten of
them and follow them around with cameras.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
I mean, that's a really good that's a good idea
we got.

Speaker 3 (42:04):
We got because the production like triples.

Speaker 2 (42:06):
Can you believe?

Speaker 1 (42:07):
I think about what can you believe that Brandon is
going to be doing our show? It's ketchy? Are you
are you going to be are you going to be
up there? Oh I'm not this year January twentieth. I mean,
anybody's welcome to come. Anybody's welcome to come.

Speaker 4 (42:24):
I hope we talk about because talk about a transformation.

Speaker 3 (42:26):
I was, I agree with you transforming in the right durama.

Speaker 4 (42:30):
He really like, I mean, you know, he won all.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
Of us over and he's been as switey to interact
with he's been and Wells, Wells really like really awesome.

Speaker 4 (42:40):
Well talk to him about how what like what was
in his what was up his butt for the for
the freaking Bachelor wres.

Speaker 2 (42:46):
I think that's when you know it's the producer.

Speaker 1 (42:48):
I think he got a bad cut.

Speaker 4 (42:49):
Yeah, yeah, just be a bad cut.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
I agree with emotional, he wasn't a situation.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
It's also look like he's twenty three or twenty four.
He's probably got a little bit of a rascal in him.
I think he's one of those was like, I'm gonna
go on to make good TV.

Speaker 3 (43:05):
You know what I mean, I'm gonna be that guy.

Speaker 4 (43:08):
He has a personality.

Speaker 1 (43:09):
And then he did, and I think he basically like,
I'm gonna go get airtime and stirred up, and he did.
And then maybe as he relaxed into it. He's like, Okay,
I've made it. I made it onto the got called
up to the majors. So like maybe he calmed down
a little bit and was actually like a good guy
like he was.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
Also, he was a sight on the boat.

Speaker 1 (43:28):
He was in the army. Yes, he wants we're going to.

Speaker 2 (43:31):
Was that before or after the Bachelor in Paradise that was?

Speaker 1 (43:34):
I think that's a good question.

Speaker 2 (43:36):
I think after okause my theory was like maybe that
changed him too, a better person.

Speaker 1 (43:40):
So I think because I think Paradise, and I think
Paradise is like May okay, And then it's wild that
this is December and it's still airing. This is a
summer show, Like is Chris. The fact that we were
almost at Christmas and we're still talking about Bachelor of
Paradise is insane.

Speaker 4 (43:56):
Well, I mean he's I think there are maybe some
total in that show two and a half personalities when
you put them all together, and I think he's got
at least that.

Speaker 1 (44:07):
I mean, honestly, thank god he's on it.

Speaker 4 (44:09):
You know.

Speaker 1 (44:10):
Also, I would take more of Canada Sam. We haven't
seen her and she had one episode we haven't seen
her in wage She's like a little fun like give
me Canada, like we've seen her once. Anyway, okay, any
final things before we take a break about Tyler and Mercedes.

Speaker 3 (44:26):
Boom.

Speaker 1 (44:27):
Now, okay, r we're gonna come back with the one
I'm dying to talk about the most. I don't know
about you, but things are getting so hot in here.
I think I got to take I'll pay your break
and we're back. Here we go, So we're coming back.

(44:50):
This is not the one that I was dying to
talk about. Captain Michael and Olivia. They're playing basketball kisses.
I feel so seen and heard. This can work. Love
is in the air. She falls very quickly.

Speaker 4 (45:03):
Yeah, everyone does this show. I mean they all push me.

Speaker 1 (45:07):
She's adorable. But it's now I'm now start nodding to
buy somebody you.

Speaker 4 (45:12):
Built you like a Cooligan's Island basketball.

Speaker 1 (45:15):
It was cute. That was really cute. I would love that.

Speaker 4 (45:17):
You would love that.

Speaker 1 (45:18):
Oh my god, are you kidding it?

Speaker 4 (45:19):
Fall quickly?

Speaker 1 (45:20):
I love activity.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
I would fall quickly, But you love aspect.

Speaker 1 (45:23):
I like the teamwork. I like a homemade like a craft,
and I like an activity. And I would like that
somebody was like a dad.

Speaker 3 (45:31):
They both feels like she's been through it already, so
she's like ready to jump even like it can't be Yeah,
and the fact that he did those nice odds actually.

Speaker 4 (45:40):
Made that stuff himself.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
Zero. They can make that, they can make that, they
can get well as another truth box.

Speaker 4 (45:47):
You know what.

Speaker 2 (45:47):
That's what's confounding.

Speaker 4 (45:48):
When I was dating, I could have been like the
best guy ever on dating if I had someone making
everything for.

Speaker 1 (45:54):
I came doing everything for me.

Speaker 4 (45:56):
Can you imagine I would kill on this.

Speaker 2 (45:58):
Show party writing notes seeing that we could forego her inel.

Speaker 1 (46:02):
My god, with like beautiful handwriting, I.

Speaker 4 (46:05):
Have horrible handwriting. That would be so great.

Speaker 1 (46:09):
So then John Henry loves kissing Cat. He seems vague
vaguely buzzed. He seems like slightly buzzed all the time,
sunburned and buzz It's just so smart. Okay. So then
we have.

Speaker 3 (46:22):
Is on the welding in the water.

Speaker 1 (46:23):
We have Blake Tyler, Jordan Tanner and Tyler Tanner, Jordan
and Blake Taylor Taylor Tanner, Jordan and Blake are left.
So Rachel goes on and Rachel's been out with Jordan.
I have to tell you, I'm so over her. I

(46:46):
was rooting for her. I felt badly for her as
the bachelorette that she came down, I felt and I
was rooting for her.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
Don't be two over her because I think one day
she's going to be the Golden Bachelorette.

Speaker 1 (46:55):
Oh yeah, she Jordan was adorable. She dumped him the
first time on her show, and Katie loved him. Katie
loved her, loved him, so he was adorable. Then they
had another great date. Then this ding dong comes back
and gets swept up by I think, fuck boy Tanner.
And then so she's like, I'm in on Tanner and

(47:16):
then she's dumping Jordan. Then Tanner disrespects her during the roast,
but then we never see them having a conversation afterwards
about like why did you say that? And then so
now she's back on Jordan. But it's like Jordan can
feel it. He's an idiot.

Speaker 3 (47:30):
I totally forgot about the Tanner thing, yes, and so
I was feeling for Rachel now because I forgot.

Speaker 1 (47:37):
She went to Tanner, she jumped. She came back from
the date where she was all in, She's like, oh
my god, I got a second shot maybe with Jordan,
like and then she jumped in immediately. She went to
Tanner immediately, and then Tanner fucked her over. So then
she went back to Jordan, and Jordan's like, fuck you.
I like, Mercedes like that to me, good for him,

(48:01):
good for him, good for him, like he's she's done
that twice to him, good for him.

Speaker 2 (48:05):
Yeah, I think it's self sabotage. She's a self sabotager.

Speaker 1 (48:08):
Yes, completely, I.

Speaker 2 (48:10):
Mean, which I have empathy for.

Speaker 3 (48:12):
She could have had I forgot about the Tanner thing,
and then she is.

Speaker 1 (48:16):
She could have had sweet Avan who said nothing this season,
but he was sweet on her season.

Speaker 3 (48:20):
She could have done all the acting out him as
a blank slate.

Speaker 4 (48:24):
You add up. She was on the Bachelor's that's one guy,
all the guys on the Bachelorette, all the guys here,
how many how many chances has she had?

Speaker 1 (48:32):
And she's like sabotaged, she picks the wrong guybotage. I
think she was good with Brandon, but then he sabotaged.

Speaker 3 (48:39):
Yeah, and she was.

Speaker 1 (48:41):
Really by that, because I mean everybody was. And then
that girl you know, just ghosted it. But this whole
season is not it's not weird. We don't it's been
weird and it's been extra weird next to the glory
of the Golden.

Speaker 4 (48:52):
Bachelor, smaller number of episodes.

Speaker 1 (48:55):
I have, no, it's so wild. I don't even know.
It feels like it does.

Speaker 2 (48:59):
Regular Bachelor has been truncated, so I wonder if in
general they've just been shortening seasons.

Speaker 5 (49:03):
Wells made it sound like it wasn't because Well's like
it was like half it was more halfway point, and
he was like, well, we're in filming.

Speaker 1 (49:09):
We were only halfway through. So I feel like I know,
and then so that's why, that's why I thought we
had more episodes, but then we only have one more.

Speaker 3 (49:16):
I have a quick question. Are they expected to get engaged?

Speaker 2 (49:20):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (49:20):
Yes, at Bachelor of Paradise.

Speaker 1 (49:21):
Yeah, they're supposed to.

Speaker 3 (49:22):
That's like you win. If you get engaged, you win,
but you don't have to.

Speaker 1 (49:25):
You don't have to a lot of people have just
ended up together.

Speaker 2 (49:28):
They just go.

Speaker 1 (49:30):
You win, but they you get engaged the emotion of them.
You get engaged in.

Speaker 3 (49:33):
Any right, but when you go into it, that's the goal.

Speaker 1 (49:36):
The goal is to get engaged. That's the goal. Some
people like Canadian uh seventh Kevin Hey, they just left
like as pals. And then they got married. I think
there's been a few people have just left as couples.
I mean when I say pals, I mean couples, not
engaged couples, right, like, like they're so cute.

Speaker 3 (49:57):
And what percentage would you say people that are like
where a couple were leaving the show? That is rare.

Speaker 1 (50:03):
Honestly, this couple of the show has made the most
because it's like Jamie getting married, you mean getting married? No, no,
not engaged, not engaged.

Speaker 3 (50:11):
I mean when they say we're not working together and
we're going to just leave the show and be together,
but leave early, leave early.

Speaker 1 (50:19):
I mean Kaylen and Dean did that, very.

Speaker 3 (50:21):
Fear very that's pretty baller.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
I found my person.

Speaker 3 (50:24):
I don't need the show.

Speaker 1 (50:25):
Kyleen and Dean. That was cool because like Dean came
back and he's like, hey, I do want to be
with you?

Speaker 3 (50:28):
Do you want to go?

Speaker 1 (50:29):
And she's like yeah. And now they're married. They get
married and they keep rescuing senior dog. They're cute, they're
really cue, they're really cute.

Speaker 2 (50:37):
But I feel like, if you found your person, why
would you not just stay for the victiis make your
man great?

Speaker 1 (50:41):
Agreed to because someone on that show is going to
try to mess with you. That's true that I would
get the fuck out. Okay, So Rachel and Jordan we're
back you guys. She's like, I've had such a fun
time with you and there's no one else I'd rather
give my rose too. And then we see Jordan talking
on camera to other people. He's like, yeah, well, after

(51:03):
she's fucked him over with Tanner, I don't know if
the romantic feelings are there for me. Like, I don't
know if I can get the romantic feelings back, meaning
because she sucked me over twice.

Speaker 2 (51:11):
Ye.

Speaker 1 (51:13):
Twice, So I love want to explore things with Mercedes.
Uh So Mercedes is upset and she's like so he
goes and pulls her aside, and he's like, She's like,
I want to catch up. You know. He's like you okay.
She's like, well, Tyler told me there's no spark. I
deserve someone who actually feels a spark with me. I've
had conversations with you. And he's like, I love how

(51:35):
great you are. Meanwhile, Braiden pulled such a good line. Meanwhile,
Braiden pulled sparkle Jess and he's like, remember when you
said all you wanted was a guy to bring you
a box of chocolates, a dude. So she gave chocolate
and she goes, I need chocolate, and then I mean,
when you write it all out, your.

Speaker 4 (51:56):
Voice is just dripping with respect.

Speaker 1 (52:00):
And then and then Tanner regrets not giving Jess a chance,
so he decides to go take us through. So then
he's like, he's like, you know, things have changed for me.
You know I was I really liked Jess watching with
Blake that you were loyal. That was super attractive quality.

(52:22):
That's a green light. So then they have the rose
ceremony and we have oh my god, okay, well well
before we even get to that, well before we get
to that, before we get to that, leaves Liza Liza
and how she whispers to Aaron. He's like and they

(52:47):
literally had to put like graphics with her words. It's
literally like, is everybody baby Jess. It's like, baby Jess, baby, Like,
it's like, what the hell is your voice? He's your voice?
And I know I have a voice to hear you.
I can't hear you. So then Jess says Tanner and
then what's his name?

Speaker 3 (53:06):
Taylor?

Speaker 1 (53:06):
Taylor walks on and he the smile that lit up
this poor guy. I it was like a guy I
wanted to I just was like, oh my god.

Speaker 5 (53:18):
And then and then Anthony was like, well she should
Anthony said that Rachel should have chose him well because
she felt bad.

Speaker 1 (53:25):
I agree with Anthony. Anthony was like, that was mean,
she should have just chosed.

Speaker 4 (53:31):
Is that was his hail Mary? And then you felt that.
I mean, he's not been the most what's the word
I'm looking for, like charismatic.

Speaker 3 (53:40):
I didn't recognize who he was. And even when he
stepped forward, I was like.

Speaker 2 (53:44):
Who's that?

Speaker 1 (53:44):
So so he walks forward. Then Mercedes comes up and
then a twist, she picks Jordan's and I was like,
you know what, Sorry, Rachel, you did this to yourself.
She did it to herself.

Speaker 4 (53:57):
Wouldn't be great? If what's the Jesse the host, if
you said that to her, if the show got real?
Could the show get real?

Speaker 1 (54:03):
She was the first one on the beach, so like
she had every opportunity, and like, except for Braydon, I can't.

Speaker 3 (54:11):
Believe I had a different experience because I had forgotten
about the Tanner thing. So I was so pro and
that I felt so bad for her, and now it's
like more molding in my mind, just like.

Speaker 4 (54:22):
The way she dresses. I can't like even.

Speaker 1 (54:23):
About that crazyble to the toga.

Speaker 4 (54:27):
I was thinking, Okay, it's going to be casual on Bachelor,
and I'm thinking these things, bird, I should maybe she'll
be able to look not like like she's from the
fifties or whatever.

Speaker 2 (54:38):
Six inches of fabric on the beach.

Speaker 3 (54:40):
Yes, And then she's crying, going, this is the best
thing that ever happened to me.

Speaker 1 (54:46):
So I'm like it was, And then did the camera
crew running after her. Jesse Palmer waking up from going
after her, it was like.

Speaker 4 (54:55):
She's had gone through some bad things. I would not
be like on one of her flights, like.

Speaker 1 (55:01):
I feel badly for her because again I feel like
I feel like she gets in her own way, and
I understand it. I understand self sabotage, and I feel
badly for her because I actually think she can't help herself.
I feel badly for her.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
I think that's what she had to extricate herself from
the situation.

Speaker 3 (55:19):
I was really glad she did. I was like, Wow,
she just really has had it with being rejected, and
that's probably what she thinks about herself.

Speaker 1 (55:30):
Oh my god, I'm so sad. But she was like,
I need to go. I feel I mean, I feel
badly for because I think she is a nice person
and she.

Speaker 3 (55:37):
Needed Braiden needed to not do that.

Speaker 1 (55:39):
I know that the Braiden was hard. I feel badly
for her with braid that was where it really went down.
And then Taylor and Braiden got cut. And then Kat
and John Henry. What were they? What was the tag?
They were their bugs?

Speaker 4 (55:54):
What they were like talking.

Speaker 1 (55:55):
About pain the in the water underwater sings a whole that.

Speaker 4 (56:01):
It's when I'm saying to myself, you know, these people
have no personalities and nothing to talk about. It's nice
when attack and validate that because boom, I.

Speaker 2 (56:10):
Mean, we both like to pee.

Speaker 3 (56:12):
I heard their mash pit saying what was the pea
thing I was talking about?

Speaker 2 (56:16):
They were relating over like having to peel, like.

Speaker 1 (56:19):
The ocean sound makes you have to pee, But because
he's an underwater diver, he just peas whatever he feels
like it. There's no delay between having to pee and
his peeing. So now like the second he has to pee,
he's like, I'm I'm now pick and I have to pay.

Speaker 4 (56:34):
I'm picky.

Speaker 3 (56:36):
Do you want to go pee in the ocean right now, babe?

Speaker 1 (56:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (56:39):
Just equally bring it back to Golden Bachelor. That is
when when suspicion I had that Leslie and Gary were
gonna work out us when they met the kids, and
she's like, we really connected. When he said fuck in
front of me, it was like he was the most
romantic thing that happened.

Speaker 1 (56:52):
I love that though, But it was also like when
she said, like, don't lead with that, and then also
like when he was like, we haven't had the hard conversations,
and she's like, when was the last time you had sex?

Speaker 3 (57:03):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (57:04):
Just like everything was like that. It's like, I mean,
it's I mean, I think sex is great. Sex is
like when it's only like if you don't want like
if I feel like people will be picked me for that,
that's all you're talking.

Speaker 3 (57:15):
About, you know what I mean, like filling the role
in the moment of like, yes, let's have the hard conversation.

Speaker 1 (57:21):
Yeah yeah, yeah, she made a joke about it.

Speaker 2 (57:24):
She immediately deflated it. But then I always also I do,
but I think she is that sex oriented, which is
why I think she fucked his brains out. I think
she actually does care when you us had sex because
she wanted to know she could blows I think she
wanted to know she could blow his mind like she
wanted for Thirsty.

Speaker 1 (57:41):
Yeah, yeah, you guys. All right, we're gonna take any
final thoughts before we come back and pick tweetter the way.

Speaker 4 (57:48):
Can't wait till next week?

Speaker 1 (57:49):
Oh my god? Okay, well we'll do after the break.
We'll talk about who we think it's engaged and who
we get breaks up? Yes, put on keys and.

Speaker 2 (58:07):
We're back.

Speaker 1 (58:08):
Okay, you guys, who do you think is going to
break up? Who's going to get engaged? Any engagements? And
who do you think is going to just leave as
a couple, and who do you think is getting married?
Marylynn will start with you, Oh boy, do you not
want to be first?

Speaker 7 (58:23):
Well?

Speaker 3 (58:23):
I want to say even and Kylie. They're so boring
and then they're teasing that they're breaking up, which makes
me think they're staying together.

Speaker 1 (58:29):
Okay, they're going to get engaged.

Speaker 3 (58:32):
Yeah, because she's going to push it and he's going
to push it, and they're so milk toasts and they're
both just going to do that.

Speaker 1 (58:38):
What do you think about I actually, in a weird
way think Canadian Sam and Pete might get engaged but nobody. No.
It is really sweet, but I feel like because they're
not famous enough, people aren't going to care, and.

Speaker 3 (58:49):
They're may be the most solid relationship because they're underplaying it.

Speaker 1 (58:52):
Yeah, and I think that we don't even see it.
And I think that they might get engaged.

Speaker 3 (58:55):
What about Eliza and Yeah.

Speaker 1 (58:57):
They might. I bet they get engaged. I bet they
get engaged. So now I'm saying to take it. I
said we're not gonna through engagements. I think I think
even such, and so Kylie break up. Yeah, I think
we might hope. I think Pete. I think Pete and
Sam are gonna leave his boyfriend girlfriend. And I think Eliza. No,
I'm gonna say Pete and Sam get engaged and then

(59:20):
Aaron b and Eliza are like, I'd like to see
where this goes.

Speaker 3 (59:25):
I think John Henry and get engaged and they pee together, as.

Speaker 1 (59:29):
It'd be so fun. Okay, what do you think here
we go?

Speaker 2 (59:32):
Test? I think that definitely Kylie's because I do think
that Kylie Blake thing was alarming, So I think there's
something going on there. So that will be a breakup.

Speaker 1 (59:40):
Trouble in paradise.

Speaker 2 (59:41):
Yeah, and I'm going to vote for the Pea couple too,
because I do feel like fate like that seemed to
hit for both of them.

Speaker 1 (59:49):
Pea couple, it's so good.

Speaker 2 (59:52):
Yeah, you can't be pissed off at someone that kind
of makes.

Speaker 3 (59:54):
A weird sense. She can act out and then he's just.

Speaker 2 (59:57):
Like, you're right.

Speaker 1 (01:00:02):
Honestly, I feel like they might now that he has
to say that you're absolutely right, they might.

Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
Remember when she goes my soul, I'm getting parts of
my soul back I can, which just means I got
a hot guy I can control, and I took them
from somebody else, and I'm good. That's all I want.
That's all I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
She was the biggest nightmare and now we just don't
see her. It's wild. She was seriously such a wild
tornado and we've not seen her for weeks.

Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
It feels like in this season like big things were
cut out. That makes me wonder if I shit went
down the base.

Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
This has been a very This has been my least
favorite season because I feel like, if there are real
couples happening, let me see it. I'm actually I know
Brandon and Serene. Well, here's the thing is, like, I
mean there might be maybe Kylie, and even like we're
not seeing I want to say to the producers that
as much as I make jokes, I am not a

(01:00:55):
I am not a cynical person, and I really do
root for people. I truly want people to be happy.
I don't watch the fun of this is is actually
like the Shenanigans around a couple of couples actually falling
in love. Like I really want a few people to
fall in love and be like a nice match. So
show me that. And I don't need a ton of
time if they're boring. But I'm actually rooting for whoever

(01:01:17):
it is. Someone's going to get engaged and I'm gonna
guess it's someone we haven't spent much time with. I'd
like to have seen a little more of it. Unless
they're so boring, Like.

Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
I'm jumping back to the Tanner and whoever make out.
It's like they're like, oh they're making out. We have
to show that. It's like, well that didn't go anywhere,
so now we're just confused.

Speaker 4 (01:01:35):
Got to show that time.

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
I know that two hours, So show me some of
the falling in love and then the horny makeouts, Like,
but I want to see some people falling in love
if they really are going to get engaged.

Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
Show it's like you're the Bachelor. The best thing that
you the thing that you're the best at is making
boring people is falling in love interesting?

Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
Yeah, okay, Bill, who do you think?

Speaker 4 (01:01:58):
What are you reading what you did said? Because I
put a lot of stock when you in the things
you say. I think I'm gonna get I'm going to
guess maybe Eliza and Aaron, because yeah, they're like two
really boring people who seem to be working out. But
I don't think there were any really good connections because
I think they would have shown it. What do I do?
So I don't think anyone gets married. I think the

(01:02:19):
people getting married and I don't know, I think they're
a previous previous couple.

Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
Area.

Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
That's making me think of Mari and Kenny, Like, but
I know they actually showed.

Speaker 1 (01:02:27):
That it's not that one. But I know it's not
them because they got married in Puerto Rico. So I
wonder who because I was thinking it might be them.

Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
Who I'm saying from yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:02:40):
Exactly, Like like grocery store jokes.

Speaker 4 (01:02:44):
Yeah, yeah, that could be that. We know it's not
the Golden Bachelor.

Speaker 1 (01:02:48):
But they've already gotten married. But like they were a
good couple to watch for. You're saying, who's going to
get married? Who's going to get married? And Thomas Oh right, yeah,
Doug figured that out.

Speaker 3 (01:02:58):
It's got to be back in what they're going to
surprise somebody.

Speaker 5 (01:03:02):
Somebody gets married and they are engaged and they have
a kid, but they haven't gotten married.

Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
I've done that's fun. Yes, yes they did. What do
you mean a surprise marriage?

Speaker 2 (01:03:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:03:13):
Yes, yes, who did it? But they did it at
the beginning early enough. They Yeah, they did it like
the first episode to show like this can happen to you,
like they did it early on. It was curly enough. Yeah,
it was cute. Yeah, but I think it's going to
be that's a really good guess. I mean that was
Doug Benson. I think, who get good job done? The guy.
He's going to be here for a finale. I like

(01:03:34):
how locked in and I'm here for it. Okay, you guys,
you know what, we didn't get any new reviews. What
