to drink with Bert Razier?

Speaker 5 (01:36):
Yeah? And Bobby Lee? I feel like here as well.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Yeah, yeah, you're the only one with your shirt on.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
Yeah, well Bobby didn't have his pants on.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Okay. It was an all nude comedy. I know. My
friend who was Aaron Fuley said there was the lesbian
hut under here. Bert said he tried to approach eron
and then he was like stopped at the lesbian hut
was under here. We have the all nude comedian, then
we have like Debbie and Josh. Then we have like
my cat sitter. It's a corny kopey. Then we've got

(02:07):
Tennis represented. Everybody's here. It's a who's who of people.
I don't leave the dance War as everybody knows. That's
just I don't talk to anyone or leave the Dancellor.

the host of a pod Mini pot.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
You have numerous podcasts.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
I have three now it might be too much.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Which three? And tell us which which is the newest
and oldest?

Speaker 5 (02:31):
The newest one is a sports one. No, the newest one.
I'm doing a Trader's podcast with Tamra and Dolores, who
are crazy. I'm just like hanging out with housewived.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
No, do you know that I love Dolores?

Speaker 5 (02:48):
Okay, I love dolor I was only on Traders for
like three seconds.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
You looked good though you had good outfit. I had
so many good you had so styled you.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
Uh the Solomon sisters shout out to them, But I
had so many that's the most. That's I didn't care
about the money. I didn't care about Bob the drag
queen like getting me out immediately. It was that I
had all of these cool suits to wear.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Great you have you worn them since? No?

Speaker 5 (03:15):
But it's funny. I'm about to go film this.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Uh you wear show?

Speaker 5 (03:19):
And they were like, do you have some festive stuff?
We really love the stuff from traders.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Like do I ever I have like a steamer trunk? Okay,
So so okay, do we love Doloris as much as
I love it? Because I I've only seen her on
the show. I love Laura.

Speaker 5 (03:36):
She might be like one of the most wonderful people
that like I've come across. And I'm like, I don't
understand how your housewife because in my mind, housewives are
like mean and yell at people.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
But she's like a rider die old school in Jersey,
Like she's like loyal. She's like she's got frank little Frankie.
If she loves you, she's like a good loyal friend.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
Yeah, she's amazing cameras. Yes, I think she thinks I'm Italians.
She's like, You're.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Like, yes, I am Metallianah.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Yeah. But anyway, so I started doing that, like we
just started that one.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Fun.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
So we're doing a like a watch party kind of
similar to what you do when you watch like The Bachelor.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Like Australia Aralia.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
That's fun.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
That's fine.

Speaker 5 (04:15):
So we're doing the first season US first season right now,
and then when the season four comes out then obviously
that's fun.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Okay, So what's your second.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
The second one? I do a golf podcast with Chad
mom who is the executive producer for Full Swing Fun,
which is like the golf show on Netflix, and he's
also one of the main producers on the new Happy
Gilmore thing.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Are you're a really good golfer? You're an athlete?

Speaker 5 (04:39):
Yeah, I'm pretty good.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
And you're good at tennis.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
I'm good at tennis. The richest kid thing I've ever said.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
I'm good a golf, tennis, sailing force ridinglo Okay.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
Are you like Trump good?

Speaker 5 (04:54):
I would say I'm better than him?

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Right because uh no, the cheating, that's hilarious.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
He wins every tournament.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
That's hilarious.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Golf course.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Yeah, because he's because you cheese.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Okay. And your oldest one is the woman with Brandy Cyrus.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Yeah, yft, your favorite thing podcast?

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Every day?

Speaker 5 (05:13):
No, no, no, just once a week. But we've been doing
it for ten years. I was doing the math. We've
been doing for ten years.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
We've been doing this for ten years.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
Yeah, that's Chield.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Well, he's also the bartender on The Gentleman.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Well, I've missed how what was happening?

Speaker 5 (05:29):
Yeah, I missed being here.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Thank you for having I'm glad that your first live
one back like that makes me feel good. Also, a
man who I think needs a hair campaign. I feel
like he needs a hair gorgeous locks. I want to
see how he did. How he did in our guessing
because we did draft picks with him, How did.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
He do in his guessing?

Speaker 1 (05:48):
He is you're off hair?

Speaker 4 (05:50):
Not well, I don't.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
I want to say you're very good at building games.
When you do your Doug loves movies. The amount of
care your games.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Are so funny creating games for people.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
You're very very good at it.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
And I, as a person who likes to play games
and I like pop culture, I appreciate the care, the time,
and the humor and effort that you put into your games.
Ladies and gentlemen. The captain of the podcast, Doug Benson.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Made matrices. Okay, what.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
How do you go about building a game? You get
really high and then you see what happened?

Speaker 4 (06:29):
Yeah, I just love games. Sometimes people will suggest things
like I always modify them a little bit, tak them
a little bit. People will have ideas, you know, but
sometimes they you know, just come to me.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
I mean, I've said this numerous times.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
No, there's one that you love.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
What I love was a game we had to guess.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
It was called Diarrhea Pearlman, and you had to guess
if the movie had diarrhea Reappearlman or both in it,
and that they would say it in the scene.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
I don't think there were any boats.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
But that was an option, an option, and people don't know.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Diary. Diary was like maybe I still think about it
alone sometimes alone in my shower and I'll go diarrhea prone.
It's so funny to me.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
It's funny you mentioned that because the current the latest
episode we played Joe Pisco poop and it's isn't Joe
piscopal or pooping? That's similar to diarrhea.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
That's so I mean, you can't go that. That now
makes me want to he does somebody have turd in
their last name?

Speaker 6 (07:33):
I don't know, right, get two cats to name them
turd Ferguson was what oh yeah, okay.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
Burt Reynolds like to say his name was on Jeopardy
on snl R. I p Norm McDonald. But I just
wanted to say, since you were talking about New York
and now you're talking about Douglas Movies. We're back live
at the Grammary Theater in New York on September eighth.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Well, if Mike King is there, he should do it.
I don't know New York.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Maybe, I don't know when September eight.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
No, I'm going to be filming this.

Speaker 7 (08:08):
I don't know if.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
You're going back and where are you going?

Speaker 5 (08:11):
It actually might be that I can't, but I can't
talk about why I would be there.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
No, No, okay, I'll reach out international man of mystery.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
I'll follow up on this.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Speaking of mysterious people. And my friend is here with
my lawyer and she is the people's princess of the podcast.
Your friend, my friend, our friend, Whitney, her great Dane
Rufus in a what color band downa today green? What
do we have like? Teal a teal bandana? And he
is my lawyer. How are you and Rufus doing on

(08:42):
this fine day, Whitney.

Speaker 6 (08:43):
We're doing well. He didn't want to leave my side,
so he had to so he came along.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
Yeah, now he's crushed out.

Speaker 7 (08:49):
He's just sit there.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
How much does he with like one hundred and thirty
good for him keeping it tight.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Does he fly with you?

Speaker 7 (08:57):
We have not tried that.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Yeah, he's like a whore.

Speaker 6 (09:00):
There are argery jeans on planes and anytime anyone sees
when they like send it to me on Instagram.

Speaker 7 (09:06):
But they're very well behaved. He's like goofy.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Well, before we get going, before we introduce the next person,
we have our queen KT money kt man named Levine,
who who has brought in so many animal rescues. Here's
an email we got from Alison Faria and let me
just tell you I grew up with a lot of Farrias. Okay, Hi, Arden,
Anna and Katie. After listening to the podcast last week,

(09:30):
I realized this email was long overdue. You can add
two more pets to the board that were adopted because
of your podcast. In twenty eighteen, our dog Ray was
adopted from the same shelter in Dartmouth, Massachusetts that my
mom adopted Mittens from. Remember where she caught it and
she said the freak Okay, last summer, my husband wanted
to adopt another dog. I'm Grea my rhode Islid accentum.

(09:52):
My husband wanted to adopt another dog. I was skeptical
because we have it now a five year old son,
and Busy lives sure. The day that day that my
husban sent me a bunch of dogs that will waiting
to be adopted was also the day that Katie shared
on Instagram that her dog Scout had passed away.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
It seemed like a sign and a few days later our.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Dog Spaghetti Jordan. The podcast has always been a great
mental health break for me that helps animals and people
are like, thank you for doing the Lord's work. Here's
the dog and spaghetti.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
How cute is spaghetti?

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa wo we lost spaghetti. Here's spaghetti.
How cute is spaghetti?

Speaker 7 (10:26):
Spaghetti's such a cute thing.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Spaghetti.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
I will it's just the cutest name.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
We love it.

Speaker 6 (10:31):
I just watching something the other day and the cat
was named Lasagna.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Great name.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
I wanted to adopt a catney potato.

Speaker 7 (10:37):
Oh that's right, I was with you.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Yes, here we are well anyway, Katie money, How nice
is that? Shout out? Shout out to miss Fario. Okay,
so here we are wells well the men have the
men have lost the thread? What's happening? Okay? You can
start winning and you know what, you complete the fifth,
and we're not gonna put Wells on the spot too much.

Speaker 6 (10:55):
No, I just have just general questions. Okay, they haven't
brought up at all. Why is there no mention of
the boom boom room?

Speaker 5 (11:03):
Great question, good question. Okay, So I guess it's because
we moved locations, right.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
So was it because the hotel got bought or was
being renovated? That was the rumor.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
I just think that like a lot of changes, right,
wanted to be made by ABC and everything, and you're.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Bringing goldens in there need air conditioning.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
That that is very true.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Yes, I was worried about Captain Cam.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
I was too, Like legitimately, we were all very concerned
about him. Yeah, like they play it up, but it
was a big concern.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
No, I felt from I know, and I've been hurt
in public and try to make a joke of it
when I'm not at home, and you're like when you're
actually when you can tell when someone's compromised and trying
and is embarrassed about and you can tell he wanted
to be there, and I felt badly when he was
being self deprecating about her, picking like a broken guy.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Yeah, like that could happen to anybody.

Speaker 5 (11:55):
I think they're so cute.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
I was.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
I was a little offended that like everyone was against them,
Like I remember the they were cute. One of the
you know, like Kathy was also kind of like leading
that charge a little bit.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Have they hated any sexuality amongst the older women?

Speaker 5 (12:10):
But the argument was like, you know, every girl that's
come in here or woman that's come in here, Kim
has been into So that was three of them, and
then Dale was agreeing with it, and I was like,
hold on, that's one less than what you've been exactly confused.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
So what like also he got rebuffed, so so like.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
And they're all kind of hot, cool lady and it's
the point of the shot.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (12:35):
Also but back to the boom boom room.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
I guess yes, yes.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
Every rooms the boom boom room condition.

Speaker 6 (12:42):
That was my next question because it seems like you
can choose to sleep in a room with someone or
so why is it that say, uh, Parisa and Brian
choose to clearly sleep in bed together and her shirts off,
but that some of the other girls are staying like
not coupled off with their and how come we don't

(13:03):
see this?

Speaker 5 (13:04):
Yeah? Okay, so good question. So the boom movement effectively
now is the VIP suite, but we're kind of using
that as like a prize for winning these exercises, right,
and that you get to go up there and then
kind of cameras go away from you. Yeah, so we
you know, you had a bunk made effectively. But then
kind of halfway through it, some couples were like, Okay,
I'll switch with you, so then we're in the same

(13:25):
room together. Okay, And so that's what happened. But then
there were some couples that like didn't feel comfortable with
that being on TV because they knew that there were
cameras in those rooms. So some people did it and
some people didn't. Where Brian and Priests were definitely a
couple that were like, we'll sleep in the same bed together.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (13:43):
Great question, because I was wondering if, like Jess and Spencer,
we don't seem to see her with a roommate, but
we haven't seen them in Great Get.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
We don't see them ever see them.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
Ever since they hit it off, which is kind of
a good thing because Spencer comes on so strong. Yeah
that like for the first episode or so, I was like, oh,
can I how much of this guy can I take?
And then when he went off with Jesse became like lokey,
you don't hear from when you do, except for on
this episode we're about to talk about it, and he's

(14:14):
very opinionated in a bad way.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Yeah, okay, I feel I feel my problem with the
changes is that I am a sucker for people falling
in love and I feel like paradise is where couples happen,
and I wonder if the money factor is going to
hurt that.

Speaker 6 (14:34):
I feel like they could switch it in. You can
make that decision at the end of you want to
keep it for yourself or share it with your partner.
And that's how though, I think that's what they're doing.
I don't know it's like that.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
But it's it's fun for like a couple like Jonathan
and Lea because Jonathan they can now like full steam ahead,
like just try to win the money as friends and
maybe become closer as a result.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
She's so cute. I'm surprised that there wasn't more. It's
like he doesn't seem bright. I'm just gonna come out
and say that, Okay, right, he can't seem to like
put a sentence together to these women. He can't seem
to remember where his lies have been and who.

Speaker 7 (15:14):
He said, don't forget.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
He came in with bandages on because he thought he
was so.

Speaker 7 (15:17):
Handsome that the mother told him he was good looking.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
He came up with the mummy wrap on his face.
I was like to that, you're welcome, like he was.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
His arm pack and he.

Speaker 6 (15:27):
Didn't find that funny to pull out like I would
have taken it out and flicked it in her face.

Speaker 7 (15:31):
And that's fun flicked open up.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Okay, Okay, So here we are.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
We're starting out. We're starting out, and they're doing the
thing that they've been doing where they have the sort
of foreshadowing of.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
What's wait, are you skipping the credits?

Speaker 1 (15:45):
No, we're just starting Oh here's what's happening tonight.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Yeah, yeah, so have.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
I've never seen apologies for but I'm excited about this
because I've never seen a previously on that sets up
basically the only story you're going to see for the
next two hours. It really sets.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
Up the they had the Susie thing, they had Bailey,
and then they went to what I thought was the
best intro of a television show. I've ever seen the
animal intro with.

Speaker 7 (16:17):
The old schult, I thought you were skipping.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
Are you kidding? Okay, let's hear it. Okay, let's hear it.
I did write where as well, Yes was my third
question in my list of questions.

Speaker 5 (16:28):
They posted that on Instagram and I said, you guys
couldn't find two more fucking birds for Hannah And.

Speaker 6 (16:34):
It's really shitty, but okay, so fun seeing you guys
running in Doug.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Benson, you wrote down the listening animals. What a incredible podcast, guest.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
Well, I've been you know, I've been disappointed from the
beginning of the season that they changed the whole concept
down there, because the combination of the people from the
show that kind of understood what their character was and
the people that just do something that they've would never
do in real life, like dumb, little weird dance moves

(17:04):
and stuff. All that was it was gorgeous and perfect
and such a fun part of the show, including Wells
always throwing something you never hit Jesse like square in
the face like I would hope it would. Nonetheless, then,
so this season they've been changing it up, and so
every seasons been different. Every episode has been different. Last

(17:24):
week they just suddenly had like some weird like ground
screw come through and ruin the whole thing. So it's
just like such a downer to start to But this week,
at least this was a funny thing to do, even
though I missed the old opening. So they had a
bird or an animal or something on the island for

(17:47):
every person, and so they started with Dale as an
iguana really, which I was already like, well, what's is
that an insult or a compliment?

Speaker 1 (17:58):
He feels to me like he's getting well, first year,
has got gorgeous eyes, but I feel like he's being
a little like a little kind of like slithery and
how he's dealing with people.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
I think it's an insult.

Speaker 6 (18:07):
I also don't understand why sometimes in the opening they're
paired together like in this opening, like Dale wasn't with Cat.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Right well, because they had that solid cat joke ready
to go. But so so then Bailey is an exotic
bird who me and my girlfriend could not track exactly
what kind it was, but it was it was blue
and maybe also not even from Costa Rica. They might
have gotten somewhere.

Speaker 6 (18:36):
Else, which I'm happy to get the answer to the
Benson is on it.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
I love this the Jeremy see this is when see
At first I was looking at like, oh, this is stupid.
But then with Jeremy, they landed it because he's a crab.

Speaker 7 (18:53):
Yeah, just gross and weird.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
His eyeballs crab eyeballs are weird, looking around every which way. Yeah,
so that was good. And this one I feel bad
about this one, but I get what they were doing.
Keith is a lost Keith, which are I thought slaws
were only like Australian thing, but they are in uh.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
That more of the of the leading the older girls
were trying to get horny with Keith.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
I thought Keith was going to be a hot come.

Speaker 7 (19:22):
On, and we were all surprised.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:23):
I like Keith, So why weren't they.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
Making Kathy might have pissed on him?

Speaker 5 (19:26):
You know.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
You don't want to make asking.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Yeah, you're right, Kathy scary Okay, okay.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
Well, speaking of scary Kathy, she's a roost.

Speaker 7 (19:38):
I love it with the cluck.

Speaker 6 (19:40):
I was like, she spent so much money, she made
so much money, eliminating the clock.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Don't give her a clock, don't make her.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
That was what felt really mean to me.

Speaker 7 (19:48):
And then.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
And then Brian and Prista were like two cute parents
that were initially no, they're fighting, and then they kissed.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Okay, they were wrong, Yeah, hold.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
On dung beetles, so to speak. Then faith, they just
go faith.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
That was funny. That was really funny.

Speaker 4 (20:12):
Animals did a good job. Horse.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
They put her on the horse.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Kim is the horse's riding riding Kim.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
You know, he loves horses and her, so he's fine.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
That's what I like. How horny they are for each other.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
And then Andrew and Alex were.

Speaker 7 (20:30):
Oh, yeah they were.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
They're called may birds, okay, or they could have maybe
been June birds. Okay, cut so close and birds are resemblance.

Speaker 7 (20:42):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
And then uh, jess, oh, I apologize. They were definitely
may birds. The Beatles were May beatles.

Speaker 7 (20:51):
Okay, or maybe June beetles okay.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
But they were definitely beatles that were sucking.

Speaker 7 (20:55):
And who was that?

Speaker 3 (20:56):
That was just that was just and Spencer having sex.

Speaker 4 (20:59):
But if anybody taking them aside at the beginning of
the season and said, hey, if you two get along, great,
you're never gonna be on the show, yes, they would
have both went, oh, we should like fight or do something.

Speaker 5 (21:12):
Oh yeah, And I told them, I said, you guys
are not gonna be on this TV.

Speaker 7 (21:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
I'm really rooting for them. I thought they were both
adorable and I'd like to see more of them because
I like them as a couple.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
I want a little more.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
I want a little more.

Speaker 5 (21:24):
Don't worry, You're gonna get a lot more of them.

Speaker 7 (21:26):
Oh really, Okay, good.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Do we have?

Speaker 5 (21:30):
This was seven?

Speaker 4 (21:31):
We've got ten, so it's gonna so it's gonna accelerate
because like at the rate the last two weeks have
only gotten rid of like one or two couples of weeks,
so it's got to really ramp up.

Speaker 7 (21:41):
Okay, thank you. They said we're gonna twists.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
Okay, we're not in town, but they wanted to come
next week, but we're now here. Nice week, so I'll
let them know the week after they can come.

Speaker 8 (21:52):
Nice Jonathan and Leah, Yes are a couple of crazy
ass frogs. Yeah, that one leaps at the other in
miss And the cat is is just like you know,
an island cat, which I assume since it's like that
kind of resorted is it's probably not as many cats
running around as the old place.

Speaker 5 (22:09):
No, but there's a lot of dogs and a lot
of wild horses.

Speaker 7 (22:12):
That's fine.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
Did you like the hotel like that?

Speaker 5 (22:16):
Yes? Everyone and Sean were wild. They were like riding horses,
but they had no they wandered, they had no bounds,
and so they would just walk down the beach.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
And then a month and then Sean is what, don't
skip Alicia?

Speaker 4 (22:37):
The craziest spelling of Alicia and Alicia right, yeah, emphasizes
the sea when there's no sea in it. Alicia, she
is a snowy egret. Okay, and remember how she came
onto the season in the bird Out. Yes, that's probably
a reference to that. But then this one really brings

(22:59):
it all home because well, Jesse is just himself, but Sean, yes,
is a freaking pe.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
And Sean loves America, which he says he said to
vote and he loves to vote. He loves to vote
and he loves America. Here we are, well, we're okay.
So that's first of all, Doug ben' silda incredible.

Speaker 7 (23:18):
I love the research that went in and.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
I loved that. Well we then we saw a cat
who is not a cat, was a human woman screaming
out of fly in her hair.

Speaker 3 (23:30):
What did you think about that, Doug.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
It's like the slightest respite from what happens for the
rest of the episode, Like it is something I forgot
that that happened.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
It was like a human moment.

Speaker 7 (23:43):
I miss all the bugs from me.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Alex. Alex really likes speaking French. She's like, so she's
teaching French to Andrew.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
And and she's teaching him all the words where it
sounds almost identical, and then says, yeah, after champagne, no champagne.

Speaker 7 (24:07):
It's very difficult.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
Yes, you can't say Andrew and French, so he should
just just walk away.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
So meanwhile we have Paresta is crying and she goes
stop apologizing. She's like, I'm so sorry, I just like
you so much, and they have the like the blackout
camera night.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
Vision with her poor little boobies out.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
She said, it's hard to watch.

Speaker 7 (24:34):
It's really uncomfortable.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
It's hard to watch because she's a nice, sweet little girl,
and you're like, she.

Speaker 6 (24:39):
Does not have any None of these girls have any
champion ship you.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
They've got to become champions.

Speaker 6 (24:46):
They all need to become champions because they all really
seem to rely on wanting the man's approval and the
fact that Brian has the upper hand in this relationship is.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
And I never thought that Brian would look like the
hero this episode.

Speaker 7 (24:58):
Brian are Brian, Well, I have things to say.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Okay, meanwhile, Faith and Kim and then he goes, we
need to talk, we need to talk, and so it's
like oh yeah, oh and then he's like he's like, okay, ah,
I've got my heart's been doing real weird shit.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
I'm kind of obsessed with Captain Kim.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Is he handsome in real life? Because he feels like
a handsome older like a like a sea captain.

Speaker 5 (25:23):
Yeah, he's in good shape.

Speaker 7 (25:25):
Okay, he definitely looks in shape.

Speaker 5 (25:26):
Ye hair, wearing a fit bit the entire time, Like
he did it before this all had happened, and he'd
come to the bar and be like, the heart's not
is doing weird stuff. So he was like tracking it beforehand. Sweet,
and I'll give you the little behind the scenes how
it happened.

Speaker 7 (25:41):
Please.

Speaker 5 (25:42):
It was Birds of Paradise that did him in. So
he was very into that, so into it, and so
we very hold them all like go get dressed and
then like we'll be filming, like you guys getting ready
or whatever, and I think he thought that we were
going to like do that and then go straight into
Birds of Paradise, but really we need to get interviews
and all this other stuff.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
So he was amped up.

Speaker 5 (26:03):
So he was amped up for like three hours and
then finally got to do it and he was like,
I think that I was for too long.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
The pregame, yeah, wow, Katie.

Speaker 7 (26:13):
It was all the sas Katie, we.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
Haven't heard from you yet, how are you feeling up
till now? The animal intros, the the all of it.

Speaker 9 (26:21):
I mean, I was worried about Kim because I mean
I also feel like, you know, it's it's disruptive to
people's routines. They're eating different food, they're eating more salty food.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
Yeah, it's a lot much a lot.

Speaker 6 (26:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
And they're old.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
He's encouraged to drink a lot.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Yes, And it's just disruptive. So I was worried about how,
I don't know, okay, age less okay. So then he
has an eat kg.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
They had to go to his room.

Speaker 5 (26:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
I felt for the guy. He's doing his best. He
tells her, he's like, my I have a heart monitor.
She starts crying.

Speaker 9 (26:51):
I know.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
It's such a sweet moment.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
They're very I find actually the real older couples very charming,
and it's my favorite part of the show. I like
the mind. It's weird how the young people want to
just get rid of all of them.

Speaker 5 (27:02):
Yeah, I didn't know that, Like there was a little
bit of disdain for the Goldens, like you hear.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
That it's really just Jeremy.

Speaker 5 (27:08):
Jeremy says like he doesn't want him to be around it.
And so maybe it's because like I've gotten older and
I'm like now more aligned with the each of the Goldens.
But like I loved them being there. They were cool.
They were down to like play right because the shows
like We Got you want to be silly and everyone
will be like no, I don't want to look stupid
on TV. And they were like this is an amazing album.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
I don't do it, like I don't care.

Speaker 5 (27:30):
They were so cool, so like nothing bothered them. And
then that there drink orders were old people drink orders,
which is like I need you know, what do they want?
You know? Two fingers of Glenn Levity, what dirty martini?

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Were you surprised that Gary was touch like a pussy magnet?

Speaker 5 (27:49):
No, it was like he definitely has he's.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
Tall too, right, he's.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Like a big guy.

Speaker 5 (27:57):
Yeah, he just you know, there's people that walk into
rooms and are like, yeah, he's like demanding attention.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
She was surprised that Keith. I felt like Keith was
gonna have a little bit of like daddy like but
it was Gary.

Speaker 5 (28:08):
Yeah, Gary wary.

Speaker 7 (28:09):
But I also don't think they gave anyone enough time.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
Well, they also cut all the guys, Okay, you have to.

Speaker 5 (28:15):
You have to understand though, like there's not a huge
pool to cast from for them yet because there hasn't
been a lot of season, right, so it's really hard
to get a bunch of people there that would work
in that.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
And are available. I feel like a lot of the
guys actually pair it off. You think a lot of
Jordan and Jonathan. They all got girl.

Speaker 4 (28:32):
It's funny. They got the hotter lady Goldens and the
more like just sturdy male goldens.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Like the guys they were handsome, yeah, Charles, like they
were good looking, they had more time, They didn't get
much time.

Speaker 6 (28:45):
I just wish that each because it does feel like
you're saying.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
It's like Gary is the most fun, but I'll show
you fun always wins for a guys.

Speaker 6 (28:52):
Of course you wants people that are alto want to
go and do stuff together.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
So then he they start crying and then this broke
my heart. He said, sorry, you chose a flawed guy.
And then he goes, I am gonna be fine. Meanwhile, Joe,
we need to talk.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
I'm gonna be fine.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
We need to talk.

Speaker 4 (29:10):
He started that so dramatically.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
He isn't interesting, Like it's like his like military background
where he just needs like he's actually can be fun.
He just needs a little like for play in his conversation.
He needs a little shock absorbers of like, hey, yeah
we need to talk. You know here, I'm not attracted
to you, April, Like there's no there's no finesse, there's

(29:34):
no like easing into the pool.

Speaker 7 (29:36):
It's like now, like I'm gonna massage your shoulders. Are
you enjoying this? Like everybody?

Speaker 1 (29:41):
When he fed her, he's like and now I'm gonna
feat and she's like, don't feed me. Yeah, She's like
please don't. He's like, wow, I'm sticking it out of
my mouth and you're gonna kiss me. It was like okay,
Like he needs a little like first.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
Sheet, he'd say, I want to have fun, but I'm
not sure if I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
He's got like Tommy Bahammad, fun shirt guy energy with
like I'm like an admiral in the Navy from like
nineteen twenty eight, you know, like I mean I got.

Speaker 4 (30:06):
Over being teased for being called Kim dude. Yeah, there's
no reason to bring that up when you're eighty, like
you know, like just it's finally okay to kim.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
His chanty and then his poem is poem. He has
no understanding. He's like she liked that. I can tell
like he doesn't know how to kind of he's used
to being in charge.

Speaker 6 (30:28):
Yeah, he's also probably when you're that high up in
the military, I'm assuming people can't tell you you're doing
things we don't like your poems. We do when we
take out on her maiden voyage.

Speaker 5 (30:39):
Yeah. I thought of it more as like you remember the
movie like Memphis Bell, you know, like they're going off
to war and you say goodbye to your sweet home. Yes, yes,
and you know, and then.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
I saw it like he's a time traveler.

Speaker 5 (30:51):
You definitely like went off to war and wrote a poem. Yeah,
someone was like this is it and the.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Good base once seventy years ago, and he's like, guess
what this worked back in the day. It's going to
work again. Yeah, so okay, So then Jonathan has friend
Zone Leah and you and Hannah come out and you
say you're going to rendezvous Jesse and the Secret Garden
and Jeremy did not know what rendezvous meant.

Speaker 5 (31:20):
Yeah that was wild, which is surprising.

Speaker 7 (31:23):
Yeah. I love Spencer's explanation.

Speaker 5 (31:25):
Yeah, it's it's a meeting. It's amazing.

Speaker 6 (31:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
So okay, I say we take a break before we
come back, and we talk about the rendezvou and we're
gonna take a break.

Speaker 9 (31:35):
Guys, it's time that's.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
Put on the.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Monarchys and and we're back. All right, here we are,
we're starting out, and this is where the clock gets going.
We have they're playing the game, the Secret Rendezvous game.
I thought this was kind of fun, like the build
of it.

Speaker 6 (31:59):
I thought this game should have been played earlier, before
connections were made, because I feel like people would have taken.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
Things yeah up, yeah, before it got locked down, before
it got locked down. Because it was a fun game.
I was. I liked the look of it. I like
this sort of like nineteen twenty like French Riviera beach
thing like I liked. I thought it was a fun build,
and I think you're right. Earlier in the season it
would have been fun. Sorry, go on, go on.

Speaker 4 (32:24):
You know the way they kind of montage it as
they go through it, Like how many questions did they
have to ask to find people that agreed on five answers?

Speaker 5 (32:34):
It was a long day.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
Yeah, I know that thought.

Speaker 7 (32:39):
Yeah, it was the building.

Speaker 5 (32:40):
Did they build that? Yeah, it was cool. It was
over by Jesse's.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
I liked that. That was good. Okay, now I liked
I thought that was a fun build.

Speaker 4 (32:48):
There was such a example though, on the part of
the show, because everyone it could have been totally not
interesting that they all just agreed to stay with the
person there with, which is what happened.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
I was fascinated by people's role play games. There was
that was that man and Robin just somebody have sexy hookers?

Speaker 3 (33:06):
That was that was faith and.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
Then it will be your answer for that.

Speaker 1 (33:12):
I'm not talking about that.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
I guess immigrant ice.

Speaker 7 (33:25):
Sexy hooker was funny, was faith right?

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Yeah? Yeah? Just the word hooker. I was like, I'm
always delighted to see the word hooker and public yeah.

Speaker 6 (33:35):
In fact, what's her name couldn't spell secretary? Oh that
was fun, yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
Yeah, yeah, there was what was Jeremy's was cop and no, no, no,
it was a cup and Robert it was like somebody
getting arrested.

Speaker 7 (33:49):
I was like, oh, he wants the are.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
You He's like that feels right?

Speaker 7 (33:56):
Actually that definitely.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
Does Okay, So then we have uh so then they
go they voted as a group. Then whoever wins the
secret Rendezvous, they're going to vote as a group about
who's not going to get the roses. It got complicated,
and then uh the best time of day to have sex.
And then the people that matched, Jonathan and Leah matched

(34:20):
and they're like, well great.

Speaker 7 (34:22):
Like, I mean that's her.

Speaker 6 (34:23):
If I was her, I'd be so annoyed because she's
like I was willing to give this a chance. We
know she was not a lot of things that we
have in common. She tries friend zoning me. I would
be pissed.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
Every woman that's interacted with him has been like fuck years.

Speaker 7 (34:38):
Each one always says that you don't communicate.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
Well, including Jen all of that.

Speaker 7 (34:44):
Yeah, I mean he does not know how to have.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Music like you. I could, I could get there, but
I'm not there at all right now. Fuck what a
fucking fuck you to your face.

Speaker 9 (34:56):
I don't like you at all right now, but maybe
one day.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
I mean, Kim is sort of like that, but Kim's Kim.

Speaker 5 (35:01):
You know.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
I was like, I am not interested in you romantically,
but like Johnathan mean like confused, like no, it's not
a no, it's just a noe now, but maybe I could,
but I don't really see it.

Speaker 7 (35:11):
You're like, fuck you, dude, You're into something else.

Speaker 4 (35:13):
He just wants to stay.

Speaker 7 (35:15):
That's all he wants.

Speaker 5 (35:16):
So then, oh, and I don't blame him. There's a
lot of money.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
It's a lot of that's a lot of money, right.

Speaker 4 (35:21):
But they gotta they gotta start working together to get
that money. He can't pretend people are casual.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
People are gonna also know you're faking it, so you
have to have at least like gone in together, like okay,
let's like pretend to be That's.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
Also the funny thing about everybody voting is the criteria
is just whatever anybody wants. Kids who decide the criteria
is you know, like are they really the best couple
or are they, you know, the most popular amongst us?
I know there's a giant dog behind the couch.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
He's moved to the couch. He's moved to the couch.
Look at Katie, look at roofs. Control move that is,
it's a power move. So then we have Alicia and
Andrew not into it, Parisa and Dale he's not into it,
Kathy and Kim.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
She saluted him.

Speaker 4 (36:08):
It's funny how they all laugh about it because it
is weird things to be it's things to be compatible
that aren't gonna.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
Matter Bailey and Brian. And then so he's like, okay,
cool cool, cool, cool, cool cool cool. He's like, just
think about it, think about it. And they love showing considerate,
they love showing him and like the fucking black bird
beak of like the two like they were in their
fucking their sleep. No more Birds of Paradise, sexy sexy

(36:39):
drama major.

Speaker 6 (36:40):
Like you know, just they went back to that when
Jeremy somehow thinks that there aren't Mike's in the room
and that he can say that I would.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
Put this episode, this, all of it to Brian. You're
gonna just confide in Brian. He's like, I fucked up, bro,
I fucked up the wrong one I mean, I'm just like,
I can't stop thinking about Susie.

Speaker 3 (37:03):
I did call her.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
She's not interested, but if she comes back, she doesn't
need to be interested. I'll propose I'm interested enough for
both of us.

Speaker 6 (37:10):
She's like, no, you find your thing. And he's still
obsessing her for it, dude, And he.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
Told everyone and then everyone knows, but Bailey, everybody, that's
not true.

Speaker 5 (37:21):
Not everyone who does it. Yes, the majority of the
cast do, but like, I don't think Parisa didn't know. Yeah,
I don't know if Alicia knew. It was like the
newer people didn't.

Speaker 7 (37:32):
Know it, Okay, but still why didn't.

Speaker 1 (37:36):
So he's like, I'm gonna tell. He's like, I'm gonna
wait under the moonlight. I'm under the moonlight with a champagne.
I'm gonna wait. I'm gonna have to note. I had
a hand delivered note like I'm in the movie clue
to deliver, like meet me like Traders.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
And they're like, it's like trader Z for sure.

Speaker 1 (37:49):
They're like, meet me by the moonlight. Nobody will know.

Speaker 3 (37:52):
We'll have a secret.

Speaker 6 (37:53):
People the ability to write a note, you could say
anything like hey, I don't mean this in a sexual way,
but could you please come in me.

Speaker 7 (38:00):
I'd love to talk to you.

Speaker 4 (38:01):
Like that said something you need to know we need
to talk. Is like, oh, he's going to make his move, and.

Speaker 1 (38:10):
That Bailey who's been like full Stockholm syndrome. After he's like,
how dare you go on a date? After I wanted
a date and then called her how dare you Jeremy?
She's not like, I gotta go tell Jeremy.

Speaker 7 (38:22):
So here's my question now to you.

Speaker 6 (38:23):
Well, so after they played that game, they were all
sequestered back to their room so that they couldn't nobody.

Speaker 1 (38:30):
Knew went out.

Speaker 6 (38:31):
I think that was the idea, Yeah, because I felt
like that seemed to happen because the second they like
whatever happened, they said, okay, everyone can go back. That's
when she went running to his room because he was like, oh,
I'm just gonna go to bed.

Speaker 5 (38:43):
Well, because we didn't want the other cast to know
if someone else requested a secret, Rendez, yeah, so we
kind of I think, put everyone away or put him in.

Speaker 7 (38:51):
Them in their room.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
So he's like, I'm one, a wait, I'll wait and
watch it. I'm waiting to watch it. Watch the fire
to the fire up I made the moon fire. It's
like and again, and then he just falls asleep. I
don't now like him, but I'm starting to like him. No,
he's horrible.

Speaker 7 (39:09):
I don't like him, but he's better than Jeremy.

Speaker 6 (39:11):
Well, the whole thing is he does it for a
very specific reason where he's pretendingly he's.

Speaker 7 (39:16):
Doing for her.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
We know he's not being a good guy, but he's
better than Jeremy.

Speaker 7 (39:20):
He's full.

Speaker 4 (39:22):
So then Jeremy's she does need to know she does,
even though he shouldn't necessarily be the messenger, like he
should have talked Parisa or somebody into so telling her.

Speaker 5 (39:32):
I will say this in his defense. I think I'm
with him. I think that he needs when he heard
that information, it didn't sit right with him from the
very beginning, in the very beginning, and I think he
was just like, I don't know what to do with.

Speaker 7 (39:46):
Faith.

Speaker 5 (39:46):
And I think the second the last episode, listen, I
can't speak for him. This is what I think. The
last episode, it seemed like Jeremy was considering getting rid
of him, right, Yeah, and so then he's like, well,
probably i'm our own time. I've never felt good about this, right,
I'm gonna make the opportunity to at least yeah, be
the right.

Speaker 4 (40:06):
It was the right thing to do, but also a
game of for sure, because because it should have everyone
should have been like, oh, Jeremy definitely should have said
something and you called him out on it.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
But instead, Okay, why didn't Alex tell her that he
called bait or that he called all those people knew,
all the women knew him, and so okay.

Speaker 5 (40:26):
I almost think that that's worse.

Speaker 7 (40:28):
Yeah, I agree, all cat.

Speaker 4 (40:30):
All cat does sit around looking for things like this
two pounds on and stick her nose in, and she
thinks he's wrong for sticking his nose in, like she
had a chance.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
I feel like if I was cheated on or whatever,
if somebody did something that I didn't like, a big
piece of information, And aside, you have the original wound,
which hurts. I think the bigger wound would be if
you knew, and you knew, and you knew and everyone
everyone knew, and you're watching me fall for the person.

(41:00):
It's embarrassing that doesn't actually like me.

Speaker 6 (41:04):
I've I have seen two different times where I have
seen a friend of mine's boyfriend out with somebody else
and I have walked over to him and I said,
I see you right now. Okay, I'm letting you know
that I see you and I will be seeing our
friend tomorrow morning. You have until then to say something. Oh,
she quiet out, Yeah, because this was before selphone.

Speaker 1 (41:25):
This is an opportunity.

Speaker 7 (41:26):
But I'm like, you have the ability to tell her.

Speaker 6 (41:28):
If not, I will be seeing and I will tell
her that I saw you out with this person.

Speaker 1 (41:32):
And Dan, did they tell Yeah? What did they say
to you when you start married? What did they say
to you when you said it?

Speaker 7 (41:40):
He didn't know what to do.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
I just say he was just sitting, would you say
in front of the girl.

Speaker 7 (41:45):
The girl that he was with. I said, I see you.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
It's fun in front of the day.

Speaker 6 (41:50):
Yeah, And I said, I'm letting you know that I
see you. You're here, I see who you're with. I'm
going to see Jen tomorrow. I'm going to tell her
first thing that I've saw you. Wow, she's what you.

Speaker 7 (42:00):
Want to do?

Speaker 3 (42:00):
What did what did the guy and the girl do
when you did it?

Speaker 4 (42:02):
Yeah? What did yeah? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (42:05):
What did Brad and Angelina do.

Speaker 4 (42:08):
About it?

Speaker 6 (42:09):
They got up and left And then I told Jen
And he was a bartender and he kept saying anyway,
I mean I had helped them with their wedding and everything,
but it.

Speaker 1 (42:18):
Was like, did they get married?

Speaker 7 (42:19):
They had already been married, they did they.

Speaker 1 (42:21):
Get divorced because of that?

Speaker 3 (42:23):
Good for you, Katie, were you were about to say?

Speaker 1 (42:25):
I was gonna say, like, good for you. I agree.

Speaker 9 (42:28):
Like knowing that everyone knew it behind your back, it's embarrassing. Yeah,
and they didn't tell you, you know, and like Jeremy
was not going to tell her like Dale at one
part was like, oh, I can't believe he did that,
Like Jeremy was gonna tell Bailey about it tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (42:41):
Dale.

Speaker 4 (42:43):
Dale was really out for no reason.

Speaker 9 (42:47):
Dale sects her also, cat being like, honesty is everything.
We have to tell each other everything. And then she's
going at Brian mean, like it's weird. Dare you that's
not weird?

Speaker 1 (42:59):
And and then you are our voice of reasons. Oh
my god, you were so basically he tells her. He
pulls her aside and tells her she's sobbing, this poor thing.
She's like, I just want to go home, understandably for so,
I'm sure you're exhausted. You've been in the sun for
like a month, drinking you feel like a fool.

Speaker 7 (43:17):
It's also by one.

Speaker 6 (43:18):
It's like one am at this point, because I think
they mentioned the time and everyone knows.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
Everyone knows she's manically packing and they find a la
Boo boo and they find a latle booboo. Alex goes
and comforts her, but it's sort of like, it's sort
of like.

Speaker 7 (43:35):
It was awful. She was like, did you know, and
she's like yes, and.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
Then and then he goes he said she called I
never heard that. No no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
you guys are great. I was like, Alex, this isn't
a good look, this isn't a good lock.

Speaker 5 (43:50):
Yeah. I think there was a little bit of her
trying to fix fix the situation, and I do think
she did a very good job of it.

Speaker 1 (43:58):
It's not a situation that she'd be fix it. She'd
be like, yeah, fuck that guy, get out of there.

Speaker 6 (44:02):
Michaelsten, I am so sorry I didn't say it, he
said to me he was going to. I truthfully thought
it was had come out and you just didn't want
to talk about it.

Speaker 1 (44:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (44:11):
The best part is the Brian trying to like, oh, so.

Speaker 1 (44:16):
Then Brian so then so then he goes, I don't
tell no.

Speaker 5 (44:19):
We just know the girls told the girl.

Speaker 7 (44:22):
I don't know you like you saying anything.

Speaker 6 (44:24):
When when Brian's like, did anyone notice that we were
over there?

Speaker 7 (44:27):
And Peres's like.

Speaker 1 (44:28):
No, nobody was told everybody.

Speaker 7 (44:30):
He literally told every single person.

Speaker 1 (44:32):
Yeah, no, no one could take any accountability. It was great,
Doug Benson, It's.

Speaker 4 (44:37):
Yeah, it's really like so strange to see him do
the right thing and then immediately ruin it by like
trying to coutouts like Jeremy really has a hold on people.

Speaker 7 (44:49):
What is that like why?

Speaker 4 (44:51):
I don't know why they all like because he had the.

Speaker 9 (44:53):
Vote last week that they're all like still afraid of him.

Speaker 7 (44:55):
He's like the number one guy in the room.

Speaker 5 (44:58):
I do think that everyone thinks that they've really strong relationship,
like other than Spencer and Jess, I think that that's
the thought is that they're the strongest. I think so, yeah,
that's like Alex's you know, her reasoning of like they're
in a really good place. I didn't want to ruin it,
which I can understand, but I do like to your point,

(45:20):
I do wish that Brian had owned it walked in. Hey, guys,
I did this when everyone comes at me, everyone comes
to You're like, you know what, at least I'm a
good friend. If you guys all knew and screw you, Like,
I kind of wish he had just done that, But
then he also like the other argument is like maybe
he should have gone to Jeremine was like, hey, listen,

(45:43):
I feel really uncomfortable with the information that you told me.

Speaker 1 (45:45):
Jeremy would never have done it. He would never have
done but.

Speaker 5 (45:47):
It would have gotten h out of some trouble.

Speaker 4 (45:49):
Jeremy would have definitely said, hey, man, if you do that,
you know, he would have started threatened him if you
do that to me.

Speaker 9 (45:55):
Bryan kind of do that when they were having their
little meeting before the vote.

Speaker 5 (46:01):
Yeah, so I told him in that Rose ceremony, I
was like, you know, you should say, like, I'll scratch
your back, you scratch mine, get me out of this trouble.
And that was like the subcontext of that conversation. Yeah,
and then they like played like the Godfather music.

Speaker 7 (46:20):
Do you sit and watch the Rose ceremony when it's happening.

Speaker 5 (46:23):
No, it's so late, and I'm it takes a long time,
but you know, I come back the next day and
I'll be like, everyone tell me exactly what happened, and
then everyone will download me on it. But I told everyone.
I told people because I had found out about it.
Hannah and I both had found out about what was
going on. And Hannah was also like, I just kept saying,

(46:47):
you guys, aren't being girls girls like that. I just
kept saying that, yeah, And Hannah was was so confused
as to why it was happening. And we sat down
with a lot of cast at the bar and we
were like, you know, this is gonna look really terrible. Yeah, right,
and no one thought it was. And I was like,
I'm just telling you, like, I'm just telling you, like

(47:07):
I've done eight seasons of the show. It's gonna look
really bad that no one is telling the truth because
and I was like, you guys know that there's going
to be like some after show and you're gonna have
to watch this clip and you're gonna have to answer
for it in front of you know, And they're like, no,
it's not it's nothing Burger, And I was like, well,
it's not. I don't think it's going.

Speaker 7 (47:24):
To be yeah, yeah.

Speaker 6 (47:26):
I think also if Jeremy had said at one point
like listen. I'll be honest, I was really like torn
between you guys, just because it was so early and
I felt something with both of you. But I'm so
happy with the decision I made and I'm so in
this with you. Bailey, if any of that had happened,
or like even when they had their special date night

(47:46):
and she's like, I'm really excited about this, he just
wanted the money, was just like, yeah, I like this too,
Like nothing's he wants some money.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
He got it into it, She's weary into it. And
he was like, wait, so you're saying there's money, I
need Susie to come back.

Speaker 4 (47:59):
Like if he was that into Susie, he should have
just insisted on leaving the show. Yeah, you know, but
he pivoted back to Bailey, and who knows how much
their relationship might have grown. Like he you know, he
probably thought he was in a good place with her,
you know, like they seem like to everybody else, they
seem like a good couple, as you know. That's part

(48:21):
of why they probably wanted to bury it is because
it felt like it was but.

Speaker 3 (48:24):
He seemed extra excited.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
Was the money got involved?

Speaker 4 (48:27):
Right? Well? Yeah, I mean that's the thing about all
of them is it's a show about now. It's a
show about how they what they're willing to pretend to
be to get the money.

Speaker 1 (48:38):
It's this season has been hard. I know you've done
eight too.

Speaker 7 (48:42):
It feels it feels like a different show.

Speaker 1 (48:45):
Well aside from aside from the change of the it
feels even if it was in Silda, it feels like
the young men. I don't know, there's something with how
the young the like. I feel like there used to
be more maybe more softness or I don't know, there's something.

Speaker 6 (49:06):
In the past when like the girls have the power,
it felt like girls have power, then the boys have power,
and it would go back and forth. But it never
felt like we've got so much power the way that
this season, like the guys sort of were like the
guys in the manipulation, like telling Bailey like I don't
want you to go on a date with someone else,
and then she does.

Speaker 1 (49:25):
And it feels worse than it's felt in the past
or the guys.

Speaker 5 (49:28):
So I've been and this is just my opinion. I
don't know this, Yeah, but you know, I think that
Batcher Nation was getting fatigued with shows happening and people
leaving together and then like immediately breaking up. I get that,
and being upset being like, why am I invested in
this relationship? You guys aren't. So you guys got to
figure out a way to make these relationships work for

(49:50):
me to you know, really be invested.

Speaker 1 (49:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (49:53):
And I think the thought was, and I could be
totally wrong here, I think the thought was, well, a
lot of people would would in the past float to
the end whatever, just get to the end of the show,
you know, and then and then they break up right afterwards.
And with the money and the exercises and the challenge
and the relationship, you know, tests it was to figure

(50:14):
out who actually will work outside of here. Okay, so
batter Nation will be like, I'm glad they won. I'm
glad they're still together because you know, everyone wants like
the Ashley and jaired with kids.

Speaker 1 (50:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (50:26):
Yeah, I completely understand what their thought process was. I
just think the people that they picked, Like, again, I
don't feel like it was long enough for any of
them to have made like such a connection to be
able to be going to besides Jessin, Spencer and me. Yeah,
but I feel like, I don't know, almost feel like

(50:46):
you needed to do like the two months of you know,
the musical chairs and then get into it. I know
we don't have time for that, and I'm asking for
a miracle, but I think that the idea and the
concept is a great one, Katie.

Speaker 9 (50:59):
They could have just also like not cut people as
quickly like in the beginning.

Speaker 1 (51:03):
Especially, I feel like people were literally the girls needed
one more weeks of power. Yeah, they needed one more
week of power.

Speaker 5 (51:10):
So I agree with that. Like that episode where Justin
and Susie went home, I remember, so I did watch
that ro and I remember going, we're losing our two
biggest stars. Yeah, I mean two of our bigger stars. Yeah,
all in one night. And I remember talking to you know,
a producer being like, this was fantastic television. But at

(51:31):
what cost did we just lose really really compelling storyline
going forward? And the truth of a matter is is no,
because Susie was on the show this entire time, whether she.

Speaker 1 (51:42):
Was or so, we.

Speaker 5 (51:44):
Still got Susie no matter what.

Speaker 1 (51:46):
Yeah, that is true.

Speaker 3 (51:48):
Can we discuss that? Just can discuss it?

Speaker 1 (51:51):
Like that just looked topless in her intro. She looks
so topless.

Speaker 7 (51:57):
She's actually top she I mean did I pause to
make sure there was a shirt on?

Speaker 8 (52:03):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (52:04):
I was like great, but the lower third even says
she's wearing.

Speaker 7 (52:08):
I forget to look at the guyron.

Speaker 4 (52:10):
Oh, they're really funny this season, but they kind of
fly by.

Speaker 5 (52:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
Jonathan was upset about how the Rose ceremony played out,
and then she goes, well, do you even like me?
And he goes, I'm not one hundred percent, but there's
a gray area. She's like, I'm not doing a gray area.
But for her, she goes, I have stood up for her.
She goes, I'm not doing it a gray era. I
will have you eliminated.

Speaker 7 (52:32):
Yeah, Like does that mean you get eliminated too?

Speaker 1 (52:35):
Yeah, But she's just like fuck this. Brian tas his
champagne priest starts. She starts to want to know if
it was Brian. She wanted to know who it was.

Speaker 6 (52:46):
She has no trust in Brian, Like also, I mean
just that whole thing where she was like, it's it's Brian,
and then she just thinks he's running off with someone else.

Speaker 9 (52:55):
Remind herself, so they've only known each other at this
point for like eleven days.

Speaker 1 (52:58):
Like yeah, really someone not even and.

Speaker 6 (53:01):
She doesn't feel good in the relationship. He's always apologize.

Speaker 1 (53:04):
And then Faith and Kim are kissing, and Kathy's very
upset about it, very upset about it. Bailey goes and
tells Jeremy. Brian tells Parisa Uh that Jeremy would have
proposed to Susie Brian.

Speaker 5 (53:20):
Which, by the way, they didn't play that clip in
this episode.

Speaker 1 (53:23):
Of Yeah, but it was said right, yes he did. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (53:27):
I was surprised that like they did, they did play
they did, they did play at the beginning, yeah, because
when they have that walk on the beach and to
fast forward with Jeremy and Bailey together and she asked him,
he says, no, I'm like, that's where you insert that, right,
so we know that's what happened.

Speaker 1 (53:45):
I think they did in the very beginning when they
did this sort of like, this is what's going to
happen this episode. Should have they should have played it again,
did Brian goes, Uh, it is weighing on me. Kim
is massaging Faith at the bar and he wants oil
to massage. Kathy goes, does anyone think this is real?

Speaker 7 (54:06):
She is very against this relation.

Speaker 1 (54:08):
She's so pissed. Why is Kathy so pissed.

Speaker 5 (54:10):
Yeah, I'm I don't know.

Speaker 3 (54:12):
I don't he's jealous of the airtime.

Speaker 5 (54:15):
I mean, she definitely is the star right of the
golden Yes, yeah, I think you know. I I don't know.
It's so I didn't know this was happening, right, Like
so much of the show. I'm learning watching you guys,
because like in the interview or like complaining about like
that's not real, right, And that was not my perception
it was.

Speaker 9 (54:38):
I think it's one person going up to everyone.

Speaker 1 (54:41):
I think it's Kathy.

Speaker 5 (54:42):
I think it's I also wonder if if the thought
is listen, Golden's going home tonight, I'm going to start
petitioning for why it shouldn't be us.

Speaker 1 (54:51):
Right right, right, right, right right, highly. How was your walk?

Speaker 3 (54:58):
It's hot, very hot.

Speaker 1 (55:00):
My house is cool if you want to go inside,
and there's some like uh there's some like like sparkling
water in the fridge or whatever, and Mittence is in
my bedroom. Okay, okay, So then we'll do a little
more and then we'll take a break and we'll keep.

Speaker 3 (55:13):
We'll wrap it up.

Speaker 1 (55:15):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (55:16):
So Kathy's all pissed. Brian pulls Bailey.

Speaker 1 (55:19):
She goes, you should tell me. Yeah, overall, Yeah, it's weird.
How like the gold is like it's got to be
a golden Yeah, well there is there only one golden
couple of yeah, ye, now there is.

Speaker 5 (55:30):
Yeah, but wait, there's Kathy and Keith. Who I mean,
they're just friends.

Speaker 1 (55:37):
Didn't Kim didn't Kim? Didn't they just get cut? Didn't
they get cut? Kim in faith got cut? They walked
off together and they want only one. Why don't we
take a quick break and we'll be back. I don't
know about you, but things are getting so hot in here.

Speaker 3 (55:55):
I think I got to take I'll pay your break.

Speaker 1 (56:01):
And we're back before I go into it, before we
finish up. Jim Jeffries has this special.

Speaker 7 (56:08):
I was about that what I was gonna promote.

Speaker 1 (56:10):
Yeah, let's promote that list. So is it really funny?
He's so fucking funny?

Speaker 4 (56:14):
So great?

Speaker 1 (56:15):
What is it called again about? Is it really I
saw a clip of it. He's fucking hilarious. I've seen
him and she comes out of the bank to limb policy,
he comes out of the bay. He's so funny. Okay,
So then we'll have him on in two weeks because
he's out of town. He's promoting. He's promoting this now,

(56:35):
but he wants everybody Netflix. It's on Netflix, so everybody
needs to watch Ye. This morning, I was like, I'm
not watching the news these days.

Speaker 7 (56:42):
I'm going to watch so funny.

Speaker 1 (56:46):
Okay. So so Kathy, Kath and camer they have their
their their massaging. They're making out. She seems into it.

Speaker 7 (56:54):
She seems that she does seem into it.

Speaker 3 (56:56):
And they both live in Washington State.

Speaker 7 (56:58):
I think there's could be something there.

Speaker 1 (56:59):
Are they together?

Speaker 5 (57:00):
I saw some picture where I thought I thought they
were together. Why not that? No, that was Gary and Leslie,
and I don't know. I don't know what to believe.

Speaker 1 (57:11):
They acted like they're like, well we tried like she
was so pissed about his gambling. It's like, but you
can still date in the real world. That was just
like such a bad choice.

Speaker 3 (57:20):
I mean, he did fuck up, but if you like
the guy, you like the guy.

Speaker 5 (57:23):
In his defense, that was another really long day and
I think that they were all just like it.

Speaker 4 (57:28):
Was also just so confusing. It's like not like a
game everybody's played before.

Speaker 9 (57:34):
So Leslie went on Joe and Serena's podcast and said,
they're oh wait, no, that was Leslie said they're just friends, okay,
and Faith and Kim, I don't know if they are shit,
but yeah, Leslie.

Speaker 1 (57:46):
And Garry are just that's too bad. Okay.

Speaker 4 (57:48):
But it's funny how when when Kim was massaging Faith,
how like they'd cut to the youngs all being like, oh,
this is so gross. She doesn't even like or Kathy
I think too, was like she doesn't even like him,
but she was moaning like crazy.

Speaker 7 (58:02):
She really like like she was into.

Speaker 1 (58:05):
The whole point.

Speaker 6 (58:05):
I was so happy to have the older people who
cared in it on. I mean at night when Kim
was like, I've got to go to bed, I've got
to go take my pill, I'm sure he meant like
his medication, but I went straight for cialis.

Speaker 3 (58:18):
That's fine.

Speaker 4 (58:19):
I think people spend all day every day wishing they
could say to two people, get a room, Like they're
just dying to say that. Yeah, like, as soon as
there's an opportunity they do it.

Speaker 1 (58:29):
You want them to go be horny, that's all. Okay. Meanwhile,
Bailey pulls Brian Polls. Bailey, she goes, you should tell me,
he goes, I don't know if it's helpful. She's like
I'm making plans with this person. And he goes, did
you I thought he actually handled this well, he said,
did you ever discuss his one on one with Susie? Smart?

Speaker 5 (58:48):
I also thought his body language is really interesting. I'm
not sure if you clock that, but he is like
sitting on the thing and he's got his knees up
against his chest like he's being really pretty detective because
I think he knows that like this is this is
gonna screw me over, like this is gonna happen, And
if you watch it back, it's like, oh, that's very interesting.

Speaker 1 (59:11):
He's like he's such an alpha to be like positioned
like that, and he goes, look, the night you got
the Rose, he expected Susie to stay and he called
her and and he wanted her to come back and
uh and and he said the night of the bird Dance,
I would propose as soon as I leave here and

(59:34):
I'm hitting her up, which he did. He said that
she starts crying. She's a very cute crier. And she goes,
thank you, and he goes, I'm so sorry. And then
she said I thought, you know, she was just happy
that he told her.

Speaker 7 (59:50):
And then when he's like, oh, and then a lot
of your friends.

Speaker 1 (59:52):
Know, he said, half the people here do know.

Speaker 5 (59:55):
And then, which is I like wrote my notes for
my show, is like, that's the twisting of the knife. Yeah,
but that's the thing that I think.

Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
Really that would break my heart.

Speaker 5 (01:00:05):
Because I can get over the like, hey, listen, it
was like the fourth day you just went on a
date with somebody else. I was like, you know, I
was in here or whatever. You know, But it's the
everyone knows everyone. You guys are my friends just back.

Speaker 4 (01:00:16):
To business, that's all hang out like this is a
great couple.

Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
Yeah, my friends all know and nobody has told me.

Speaker 1 (01:00:22):
And then she says, I don't give a fuck about
the money. I don't give a fuck about five hundred dollars.
I want to leave, and Alex is like, you're not
leaving again. She actually is like a worse friend by
trying to make her stay. She knows it's accurate. If
she's says she doesn't care about the money, let her go,
Let her get out of there.

Speaker 6 (01:00:41):
I think it's more that the girls want all their
friends to be staying, like.

Speaker 4 (01:00:44):
Yeah, they like Jeremy, And.

Speaker 3 (01:00:46):
She's like, I don't want to be here anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:00:49):
And then everybody's like, what the fuck's up with Brian,
Like they're no to say yeah and over there, yeah,
Jeremy is why Jeremy's passed out in his bed and
he by the way, he goes back to bed after
she confronts him.

Speaker 7 (01:01:04):
It goes back to bed.

Speaker 4 (01:01:05):
He rolls over and goes back to sleep.

Speaker 1 (01:01:08):
Yeah, back telling.

Speaker 6 (01:01:10):
He goes back to when he's like, who is it?
When she comes in the room and she's like, it's Bailey.

Speaker 1 (01:01:15):
He's like, oh yeah, it's so telling. Dude, fuck that guy.

Speaker 9 (01:01:20):
I mean no, like if you really cared about he
goes and you back to bed.

Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
He goes back to bed. He's like, and it.

Speaker 6 (01:01:26):
Isn't until she comes back right the second time, and
then he gets up and comes downstairs and she's like
where's Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:01:33):
He comes down with bed hair and like no shirt
on and acting like his beauty. Sleep's beIN interrupted and
everybody's out like it's nine pm.

Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
Yeah, and he's like us too, and she's like, she's like,
I just really want to go home.

Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
Did you call Susie?

Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
Yeah? I was shocked, he admitted it.

Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
He debated is he was his guard?

Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
Was he was?

Speaker 2 (01:01:55):
You know?

Speaker 1 (01:01:56):
And she's like, do you regret your decision? Do you
want to be with her? She's sobbing. She's like all
of my friends know and no one told me. And
then he's like, hey, come here, come here, I.

Speaker 5 (01:02:09):
Care about It's cool.

Speaker 4 (01:02:10):
She doesn't want me anyway.

Speaker 1 (01:02:12):
Yeah I try.

Speaker 9 (01:02:14):
Like yes, he said that like right after, right after
Susie left and he made the phone call. But it
was days later that he said those comments to Brian.

Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
So he was dan about she already says she also
said I don't want to go out with you, and
so he's still thinking about her. So that was days later.
So this is this isn't an old dead thing. It's
not deaded.

Speaker 5 (01:02:39):
I'm just amazing he did that in an interview like
that is what blows my mind because he says like
can we call her? And you can hear the producer
being like, uh okay, you know, like why no one's
ever ye, like like are you great? Are we rolling?

Speaker 1 (01:02:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:03:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:03:00):
To me, I was just like, that's wild.

Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
That he's a spoiled little man child.

Speaker 7 (01:03:05):
He just it's just like where's he from?

Speaker 5 (01:03:07):
For me?

Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
It's like remember that did you remember that? Like that
remember that rest that grocery store with like the like
Long Island or something, or like Westchester. They they read
to that like grocery store.

Speaker 5 (01:03:21):
But yeah, yeah, I was just blown away, like of
all the seasons I've done and like seeing people make
like bad decisions that one, because I obviously didn't know
that that existed because I wasn't like in the interview
room with it. But then watching it back, I was like,
I can't believe someone thought this was a good play.

Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
Dude, it's so brutal.

Speaker 7 (01:03:41):
Did he think was gonna happen?

Speaker 5 (01:03:42):
It was crazy because then he's like, I want to
say something, but I don't want to be miked up,
and he like pretends to, like, you know, close his
mic off or whatnot, and so he had awhare with
all of Like what he was saying wasn't great, but
like you were in an interview with a camera that
was and you called her that's what blew me away.

Speaker 7 (01:03:59):
It blows me away.

Speaker 6 (01:04:01):
But this is also back when it was original Bachelor
in Paradise, and sometimes people do come back unexpectedly and
there wasn't the competition in it yet, So then I
feel like that's exactly what you're saying when it switched
to the competition.

Speaker 7 (01:04:17):
It was like, I'm all in.

Speaker 5 (01:04:19):
And then also just so you know, like the way
the game shows works, the second that the money was involved,
then you really can't manipulate what's going on because then
you're fixing the game.

Speaker 3 (01:04:30):
So there's no producers or anything.

Speaker 5 (01:04:33):
Yeah, this season was very hands off, and I know
a lot of people. I've said that another podcasts and
people don't believe it, but it really was because you
had those standards and it's really important.

Speaker 6 (01:04:44):
That makes total sense. And I'm so glad you said
that because I wouldn't have thought of it on my own.
Arden's taking pictures of her lawyer.

Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
But dude, look at the guard dog at Rufus. He
can welcome many times you come, you can always bring Rufus.
So then he goes, He goes, I care about you.
She goes, did you pick me because you thought she
was going to be here? I want to go home?
Everyone knows but me. He's like, yeah, at the time,
I was playing Paradise, but now that money is involved,

(01:05:15):
I'm playing Bailey. I don't want to be She's I
don't want to be here anymore. Brian is like, ooh,
he I'm a little worried about the reaction. This isn't
quite playing off like I wanted to do.

Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
I got to keep the smoke low.

Speaker 1 (01:05:27):
So he's lying now and Dale Dale became like fucking
Sherlock Holmes, Oh my god, Dale, and he's like, he's like,
So Alex goes to her. She's crying packing. She's like,
I just need to go. I have to protect myself.
She's like, he's he was hurt that you were out
with Andrew.

Speaker 9 (01:05:44):
Don't make excuses for him.

Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
She's allowed to go with Andrew.

Speaker 4 (01:05:48):
That was I know, what's the timeline on that? He
was She wasn't out with Andrew making out with him
while he was trying to get Alex.

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
That was a really bad, not girl girl thing.

Speaker 7 (01:05:58):
This it's like the day before he was that on it.

Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
She's also allowed to go on a date with Andrew.

Speaker 7 (01:06:02):
Yeah, She's like, and she handled it well.

Speaker 4 (01:06:05):
She like it was a pretty sexy date. But she
walked away and wanted to Jeremy because Jeremy proved to
her that she wanted to be with Jerry. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:06:12):
No, No, She's like, he was upset you were with
Andrew was Again, the timeline is off. She's like she's
like everyone gets to have a really good love story
except for me.

Speaker 3 (01:06:21):
So that broke my heart.

Speaker 1 (01:06:23):
Jeremy goes, Jeremy goes, whatever, I'm going back to sleep.

Speaker 3 (01:06:28):
Fuck that guy.

Speaker 7 (01:06:30):
Fuck that guy.

Speaker 5 (01:06:32):
So as like the only one that's married, well, Jesse's married,
but like I feel like my perception is different, and
like one of the big rules that like every father
in law says, you know at a wedding is like
never go to bed angry. It's so important. And for
me it's like obvious as I'm watching it, being like
I know why you guys are all single because you

(01:06:52):
think it's okay just to go back to bed, not
figure this thing out.

Speaker 9 (01:06:56):
Yeah, actually talk to your make her feel And he
has a test in the morning.

Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
Whatever I'm going back to bed.

Speaker 9 (01:07:06):
I mean that's also just telling like to me, that's
saying I don't give a fuck about you.

Speaker 1 (01:07:10):
So then Bailey's still packing. He goes back to bed
and and then he's like come out, let's go for
a walk.

Speaker 7 (01:07:18):
I'm like, ugh, And just when he Brian talks to
Parisa on the walk.

Speaker 1 (01:07:24):
But Bailey, I think, no, he they start talking. This
is what I guess it's in the morning. In the morning,
he pulls her so she's leaving. He hugs her, and
then she goes, I will forgive, but I will never forget.
I'm giving grace.

Speaker 6 (01:07:45):
What about when she's like pretty much saying like she
wouldn't do this in the real world, but she'll do it.

Speaker 1 (01:07:50):
On paradise so much better.

Speaker 4 (01:07:52):
Let's not get it.

Speaker 3 (01:07:53):
Maybe she's now just now she wants the money.

Speaker 4 (01:07:55):
All she had to do is ask one follow up question,
which is are you going to try to find Susie
when you leave here? And if the answer is even
a hesitant no, then she should just bail. She should
like not because she said she doesn't care about the money,
so she's not staying with him for the money. She's
staying with him for the screen time.

Speaker 1 (01:08:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:08:18):
I think she's smitten with him. I think she.

Speaker 4 (01:08:21):
Yeah in that she's like she still feels like she
won over Susie.

Speaker 6 (01:08:27):
I think that's just when you're able to watch a
show like this and see what's behind the scenes. But
if you're just seeing it from her perspective, he seems
like he's all in and he's being nice. Granted, doesn't
want to talk it through and goes to a bit angry.

Speaker 4 (01:08:39):
And explains it all with I just I was just
playing paradise.

Speaker 7 (01:08:42):
Yeah, man, just playing paradise.

Speaker 1 (01:08:44):
Okay. So then we have Kathy being mad at Kim
for getting handsy with everyone, and then she goes, she goes,
that's fine if he wants some matronly woman who sits
on the sofas and watches soap operas. I was like, shady.

Speaker 6 (01:09:08):
And then she's like she tries to take it back,
but I was like, man, first of all, we all
know I love days of our lives?

Speaker 1 (01:09:13):
Is that you is she talking about?

Speaker 7 (01:09:14):
It was like this is me?

Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
So then yeah, but they were like get a room.
Everybody was like pissed at them. They're like, oh, people
are getting excited here this. So then she goes, I'm
happy for that mozzle. We've all faked things in our lifetime.
Sean goes, I am a big fan of America and
the right to vote.

Speaker 5 (01:09:35):
Okay, I'll say this, that's setting up something, okay, just
so you know.

Speaker 1 (01:09:40):
Okay, yeah, I thought.

Speaker 6 (01:09:42):
I had to do with the voting that evening as well,
because he was like happy that they could vote people out.

Speaker 5 (01:09:47):
I could be wrong, but from what I remember I
think this is all a big setup, fabulous for some
other storylines.

Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
Okay, that's fun. So then there he's held bent on
setting a golden home. Ye did that surprise you?

Speaker 6 (01:10:01):
No?

Speaker 9 (01:10:02):
I think they're I think you know there there's only
one golden couple left they're clearly trying to get rid of.

Speaker 5 (01:10:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:10:07):
I mean I think that the youngs are trying to
stay together. It's like Survivor now when they did the
millennial versus.

Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
So then we have Brian. He's like, no, it was
the girls, that it was the girls that did it.

Speaker 6 (01:10:22):
Brian trying to just not be truthful about what he
said and trying to like duck when like he Dale
asked them point blank and Cat's like asking the same thing,
and she's like, we didn't say anything.

Speaker 7 (01:10:37):
It was great.

Speaker 4 (01:10:38):
Brian could have been at the bar rallying everybody. Yeah, like,
finally this is out about Jeremy and now Bailey can
continue with her life and time on the island and
not wonder and blah blah blah. But also it kills
Brian's credibility moving forward that Bailey is just back with Jeremy,
Like so now Brian's really out there, like even Bailey's

(01:10:59):
just start like, well, you told me, good for you,
but that information has changed nothing.

Speaker 5 (01:11:05):
Bailey also kind of hides the fact that Brian told
her to everyone. Yes, I think so too. I thought
that was tactful. But I do wish that Brian had
just been like I did the thing that no one
else had the guts to do. Yeah it's over now,
sorry guys, it is, I'm done with it.

Speaker 4 (01:11:23):
He could accept his like normal like bullying attitude. Then
he has about you know everything and and you know,
just be the bigger person, and and if he got
voted out for it, like that's the other thing is
they're thinking about their reputation outside the show, So like
if he got voted out for that, he'd be a

(01:11:44):
huge you know people, yeah, to raise them up on
their shoulders. He'd be a beloved figure.

Speaker 1 (01:11:48):
Can I just say you actually giving being the eyes
of the audience and saying what the hell? I it
was so everyone was like crazy, it was so good.

Speaker 9 (01:11:59):
Everyone on Red it was like very mad at the
whole situation and was just like everybody's like, wells with this.

Speaker 1 (01:12:04):
They needed they and I think the show needed to
call out like it needed to be sad that that
they don't condone this and that like it was really
good that you said that.

Speaker 5 (01:12:14):
Yeah, it seemed like one big gas light. Like the
thing was everyone was gaslighting everyone and just and I
felt crazy about it. And I had heard about it,
and I had talked to cass being like cause one
of the things I saw, like on my social media
is like, you should have said something I said. I
did say, so Yeah, first of all, it's not nice
place to tell Bailey, because you know, that could be

(01:12:36):
accusing me of like manipulating the storyline or whatever. But
I was like, my whole job there has always been
I want to make sure you guys don't look bad.
I've done. I was on the show, I've done all
these seasons. These are the pitfalls. Yeah, and I just
kept saying, like, you guys know, it's gonna be on TV.
It's gonna look really, really bad. Yes, And no one

(01:12:58):
believed me, and so so when I got pulled into interview,
I was annoyed. Yeah, and you can sense that I'm like,
what is going on? Yeah, dude, And thankfully I was right.
Because I was wrong, i'd be like, please cut.

Speaker 3 (01:13:13):
That, but you were right.

Speaker 1 (01:13:16):
Yeah, you're absolutely right.

Speaker 9 (01:13:17):
And I mean it's like we're seeing the reaction and
everybody is like everybody is agreeing with you and being
like Brian was in the right.

Speaker 1 (01:13:25):
Everyone was cheering, was on my line the whole time.
You said bro code, Dude, this is douchebag code. Everyone
is defending Jeremy and Brian is the bad guy, Like,
what the fuck is going on?

Speaker 5 (01:13:37):
And we for a moment just applaud the fact that
I got the words douchebag code word.

Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
It was so good.

Speaker 5 (01:13:45):
I thought for sure they were going to cut that.

Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
We have poor wells. But it always makes whenever I'm
on a showing, people tell me they want more of me.

Speaker 3 (01:13:53):
I was like, yeah, I know, like and you know
that we know. I'm sure I.

Speaker 6 (01:13:56):
Have to say the episode when they did the I
know what you did summer thing, and you did I
thought you acted really well.

Speaker 5 (01:14:03):
In that, Okay, So I thought I did such a
good job.

Speaker 7 (01:14:05):
You did such a good job.

Speaker 1 (01:14:07):
So she told me.

Speaker 7 (01:14:08):
She actually actually.

Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
She texted me because I was in Atlanta. She was like,
I thought, well acted really well.

Speaker 7 (01:14:13):
I was like, I really believe. I thought you did
such a good day.

Speaker 5 (01:14:16):
I appreciate that. So when we did it. Like. The
director was like that's great, and Jesse was like, you're
so good. And I was like, Jesse, you're so great.
And I left there. You know, my wife's and actress,
and so I left there and I was like, I
killed this acting thing. Yes, it was so good. And
then we watched it back and I was like, I'm terrible.
You did a good job.

Speaker 1 (01:14:34):
You didn't you did a.

Speaker 5 (01:14:35):
Good job, But in my mind I.

Speaker 1 (01:14:37):
Was you did a good job.

Speaker 5 (01:14:38):
It's hard.

Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
It's always hard to watch back. Yeah, it's always brutal
to watch yourself. I agree with Whitney.

Speaker 7 (01:14:44):
I thought you did a really good job.

Speaker 1 (01:14:45):
I got a special text from Whitney, who works as actors,
and is like I think, wells did a really good job.

Speaker 5 (01:14:52):
Well, thank you.

Speaker 6 (01:14:53):
Yeah, no problem. I have my one quote that I
love that. Yeah, it's more at the end, but it's
one that Jeremy.

Speaker 3 (01:15:00):
Yes, yes, the final Rose Kim is cut.

Speaker 6 (01:15:02):
But when Jeremy says, well, there's no reason for me
to be here if I'm.

Speaker 7 (01:15:07):
Not if Bailey leaves, and I'm like, well, yeah, if
she leaves, you go anywhere obviously.

Speaker 3 (01:15:12):
Yeah, that's the thing we know that.

Speaker 1 (01:15:14):
Doug, do you have final thoughts before we take a
break and do a post of the week.

Speaker 3 (01:15:19):
What do you think, Doug Benson?

Speaker 4 (01:15:21):
I hate Jeremy.

Speaker 1 (01:15:25):
I do too. How do you feel about Brian?

Speaker 4 (01:15:28):
I hate that. I don't mind Brian.

Speaker 1 (01:15:32):
Too. He was so like I know, I feel the
same way.

Speaker 4 (01:15:36):
I had to pick all this time, since first meeting
Jeremy and Brian, I'd be team.

Speaker 1 (01:15:41):
Jeremy, say I like Jeremy.

Speaker 4 (01:15:43):
It's flips.

Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
I like Jeremy last year.

Speaker 5 (01:15:47):
You know, I asked you something, okay, if brought if
Jeremy's the guy who looks the worst in this episode,
who looks second worst?

Speaker 4 (01:15:57):
Dale?

Speaker 7 (01:15:57):
I was about to say, that is pretty bad.

Speaker 1 (01:16:01):
Dale is such a weird bully about it, and he's
so like no man, Like he's so weird about how
like no one is pointing out what what Jeremy did
and they're all pissed at Brian when they've all known
and like he kind of tried to do that with
a last yeah like that, Like I just felt like

(01:16:22):
I felt like Dale's first of all, like thirty six
years old, like a grown ass man and being like
really weird. They're all hypocrites and they're all just covering
their own ass. Who do you think is the second worst?
I think who do you think the second work?

Speaker 4 (01:16:36):
That's a tough call. But you know, Dale, certainly in
the edit, comes off the worst because he's so aggressive
about sticking his nose in and giving Brian a hard time,
like he's really talking to Brian like and it really like.

Speaker 5 (01:16:50):
Well, he says something to the effect of, I know,
like your character wouldn't allow that, or something like, you know,
he says something that to Brian where it's like, no,
if he had good character, he probably would do this.

Speaker 1 (01:17:02):
And what were you what were you met at Kat
about well?

Speaker 4 (01:17:06):
Because she was so quick to jump in, and that
just feels like like she's already been questioning Dale the
whole season and now she's sow in on Dale that
she's like just agreeing with him about this Jeremy thing.
You know, it just felt but also it just felt
like she shouldn't have been saying anything. You know, you know,
either you should feel bad that you didn't tell Bailey

(01:17:28):
or you should shut the fuck up. Yeah, those are
the options to jump in and be like mad that
somebody told this poor woman what was happening. Because by
by everybody's account. It feels like Jeremy would still try
to meet up with Susie Are after it's over, So
he needs to officially declare that he's not gonna do that,

(01:17:50):
and then maybe him and Bailey have a chance, But
probably not because she was because when she watches his back,
she's gonna see every beat of what happened, and rebeat
of people not telling not only not telling her but
then also lying to her about stuff, and Brian trying
to lie and cover up that he told her was
also insane.

Speaker 7 (01:18:10):
Yep, that was like really uncomfortable.

Speaker 4 (01:18:13):
Yeah, it was so weird. It's like, dude, you're in
the clear, at least with America, at least with people watching.
He's he's being Heroica. Agree, but it's like the hero
is suddenly going, oh no, I had nothing, Yeah, don't
involve me in that.

Speaker 5 (01:18:26):
The reluctant hero.

Speaker 6 (01:18:28):
I think going back to when they did that game,
and it was like, if Dale had gotten partnered up,
if it had with Alicia, do you think he was gone, Yes.

Speaker 7 (01:18:38):
Yes, for sure, that's what they were.

Speaker 1 (01:18:41):
Yeah, me too, of course he would have. They both
would have. Okay, we're going to take a quick break
and we're going to do post of the week and

(01:19:03):
we're back. You guys, who do you think is gonna win?
I mean, is there can I say?

Speaker 6 (01:19:09):
In the uh previews of What's to come? I feel
like there is a spot where we see like four
engagement rings like set out on a table.

Speaker 7 (01:19:17):
Do we think that there's.

Speaker 1 (01:19:18):
Well usually Neil Lane lets you pick which one you want.
I know, but is there a world No, no, we're
not gonna look at Wells right now. Is there a
world where there could be multiple engagements even without the money?

Speaker 3 (01:19:31):
Like what happens on Love Island.

Speaker 1 (01:19:32):
It's been a minute since I made it all the
way to the end, because it's such a time commitment.
Can multiple people like, can multiple couples think they're gonna
win and get the money? Could they trick people about
who the final couples are?

Speaker 4 (01:19:44):
Well, just for the sake of it being a TV show,
it can't be obvious about one couple. But it feels,
based on our own eyes for the whole season that
the only successful time couple is just.

Speaker 1 (01:19:56):
But they could get cut because they're a threat, because
they get voted I could get voted out, So you
could end up with a Jeremy and a Bailey together because.

Speaker 6 (01:20:03):
I mean, he says it so that it's just down
to one couple at the end, who gets it or
do we have to vote?

Speaker 1 (01:20:09):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (01:20:09):
Might engagements?

Speaker 1 (01:20:11):
Okay, so let's just guess on two engagements we have.
We're not gonna look a well we know Jesse Spencer.
We're not looking at wells. Okay, who do you think, Katie?
Who's I do you think Jeremy and Bailey? They are
still together, so.

Speaker 7 (01:20:26):
I think too.

Speaker 6 (01:20:27):
The fact that he said he would propose to Susie
makes it seem like he's open to the concept of
proposing on this show.

Speaker 7 (01:20:35):
Okay, maybe him and Bailey. Okay, Doug, I just want
to see.

Speaker 4 (01:20:41):
Keith and Keith winning the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (01:20:49):
We all do.

Speaker 4 (01:20:50):
But yeah, it's you know, Andrew and Alex seemed fine,
but he was a late rival. Yeah, and she's you know,
she's who she is. So it's hard to see them
as a strong couple.

Speaker 6 (01:21:03):
They seem like they're getting We don't see any He
doesn't seem like he's.

Speaker 3 (01:21:07):
Gonna propose though.

Speaker 1 (01:21:08):
He seems like he likes to come on and do
his British accent and leave. I think it's gonna be
I think Jeremy is a piece of shit enough that
he will propose.

Speaker 7 (01:21:15):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (01:21:15):
I think, I think just to, I think just to
what if his dealing Cat? Okay, do you think dealing
Cat or Jeremy and Bailey. Jeremy and Bailey over Dale
and Cat same.

Speaker 3 (01:21:25):
I think it's gonna be them.

Speaker 1 (01:21:26):
I'm not looking at.

Speaker 7 (01:21:26):
Well, but I also just win the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (01:21:29):
Well, no, I don't think they're gonna win, but the proposing.

Speaker 1 (01:21:32):
I think they could win.

Speaker 8 (01:21:33):
The money.

Speaker 1 (01:21:33):
I think Jeremy and Bailey, I think he's I think
they're gonna win.

Speaker 4 (01:21:40):
There's a really convoluted finish with like whether they're gonna win,
whether they're gonna be a game.

Speaker 8 (01:21:45):
Yeah yeah, yeah, Like it's a lot of possibilities.

Speaker 5 (01:21:49):
So answers are coming soon. Okay, things are gonna switch
out and.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
