Speaker 2 (00:04):
Time arguing which which is most wicked.

So there may be some spoilers for which stories, but
nothing too spoilerific for you.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Hello.

comments and.

Sepond plus News.

wrong about. Headmaster Jason will be the supreme judge today
along with Professor sort of Potions Joel Monique and Wow,

(01:04):
you might not guess who the guest is going to
be arguing, but it's not Host Rosie.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Drink your magic potion and come out as as contested Rosie,
and please welcome now Judge Joel to the stage. Judge Joel,
how are you?

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Ah?

Speaker 3 (01:27):
I'm grey.

Speaker 5 (01:28):
I love talking about which is especially from our two
contestants to which experts you might say, I'm really excited
to see who's going to be doing battle for us.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
That's right. Please welcome now the complainants in the which
witch case? First up, she is one half of the
screen Queens. It is super producer Carmen. Carmen, how are
you ah.

Speaker 6 (01:49):
I'm doing so well. I am excited to present my
witch today.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Thank you for having me. And on the other side,
she is one half of the hosting pair of X
ray Vision. To welcome now the complainant Rosie Night, Rosie,
how are you?

Speaker 1 (02:10):
I'm so happy to be here on X ray Vision
as a contestant on Your Wrong Friend, which which I
will be presenting a X ray Vision favorite which today, guys,
what can I think?

Speaker 4 (02:24):
So A quick reminder for our audience of the format.
We're going to start with an opening statement from each
of our contestants. We will then move to a rebuttal
section in which both of our contestants get to pick
apart of the other's argument. We will then go to
judge questions, in which Joel and I will interview the complainants,

(02:47):
and then we will have our closing statements, and then
we will go to the jury and the jury is
Joel and I Are you ready?

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Are you ready, common, let's do it.

Speaker 6 (02:57):
I'm ready as i'll ever bring coin.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
The coin is flipping in my mind, and I have
decided that Carmen, you will go first.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
I see what you don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I love that coin flip technique. Let's bring it back
next time.

Speaker 6 (03:15):
The technology I manipulated that coin in Jason's mind.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Okay, so already getting witchy.

Speaker 6 (03:24):
Guys, Rosy and the panel esteemed panel of judges. I
have a very good witch for you today. The witch
that I have for you today is not only one
that I believe is the most powerful. She is so
fucking cool that I actually think I'm going to win
over my opponent, and even my opponent is going to
be begging the judges to vote. And her name is

(03:51):
the amazing Bayoneta. So Baneta is a witch who demons
with her all right. And she has the ability, uh
not only to wield just one or two guns, baby,
She's got four guns on both hands and both feet. Yeah,

(04:13):
I mean, come on, she's doing kaiju battles. She can sing,
she can dance, she can change her hair at a
moment's notice. In my opinion, out of all the witches,
out there. Banetta is the witchiest witch that there is,
and she's committed to sisterhood above all her her best

(04:33):
friend Jean. She will do anything for Jean. She will
go to Hell for Jean and pull Jean out of
the depths of Hell. And I don't know any other
witch that is committed to her sisters in the same
way that Banetta is.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
She is.

Speaker 6 (04:49):
She stands out an astounding six foot almost ten feet tall,
and she has a an amazingly tiny, tiny little head
on her very very long body.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Carmon said, witch hunters, you will be able to easily
find uh from this discription.

Speaker 6 (05:12):
And she has an arsenal of weapons, so she has
the ability to not only some in demons with her hair,
but she changes up her weapons in a moment's notice
and can adapt to any situation. So she's got whips,
she's got guns, she's got swords, she's got it all.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Thank you, Carmen, Rosie Knight, please step to the microphone
and tell us about your witch.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
First of all, I want to thank my esteemed competition
common for always coming in with a good, deep cop
queer legend like Bannit.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I do feel like that is a great pick. Do
I feel like a traditional witch uses guns? But do
I think that that's cool? Yes?

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Okay, Well, so my witch is we got one deep cut,
one fave for you guys.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
That's always how we play. On next revision, I'm going
for the Scarlet Witch. Ever heard, ever heard of her?

Speaker 1 (06:13):
You're talking about a witch created from two of the
greatest minds of Marvel Comics, Stanley and Jack Kirby.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
She's been around.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Since nineteen sixty four. Her powers are immense. You know,
she used to be more of a sorceress who could
alter probability, but now she is arguably one of Marvel's
most powerful heroes, if not the most powerful. Also, you
like fairy tales, you like weird stuff, you like law, Well,

(06:43):
guess what babes Scarlet Witch. She was raised by a
cow named Bova on a magical mountain called Mount Wondergore.
That is some fairy tale business. Not only has she
been in the West Coast Avengers, she is in fot
Force works remember them very nineties. She's also obviously in

(07:05):
love with Vision and she has a tragic romance. She
is also, as many Witch has been persecuted throughout the years.
So you cannot blame her for all the murder and mayhem.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
I must say she has been tortured, picked.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
On, brainwashed, married off to cag the conqueror attemptedly. This
woman has been through it. But you know what, she's
so powerful. Her style is incredible. Whether she's being brought
to life by Elizabeth Olsen or Russell Dautemann, who's one
of the best Scarlet Which artists out there. She has

(07:43):
the leather pants, she has the leather crown. You will
always recognize her. Her powers incredible. She can create entire
worlds from her mind. Now should she do that, that's questionable, guys,
but we're not here to judge her right now.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
She's gone. She doesn't have her kids.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
They've been taken away by evil machinations of men around her.
Like many witches, she has connections to the Salem Witch Trials.
She has mentors like Agatha Harkness, but they are also enemies.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
It's a complicated thing.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
I will say she is not necessarily as for the
Sisterhood as Bayonetta, but she could learn from her. I
feel like she could learn from her, because really, Scarlet
Witch does care about her other mutants. Whether she is
in the comic books or in the movies, she will
ultimately make the right choice. And for those out there

(08:38):
who are upset that Scarlet Witch seemingly died at the
end of Multiverse of Madness, don't worry, guys, definitely not
the case. She's coming back. Wonder always comes back, which
is another thing. Wonder is essentially immortal at this point.
So she is a witch who can create life, end life,
do incredible spells. Also, if we're talking about style, her

(08:59):
spell castings style is very beautiful. We love the way
we see the ruins popping up there. She's also just
a total badass, and we love how much Elizabeth Olsen
loves playing her. It's great to see a woman in
a complicated role who loves to play that role. So, yes,
Scarlet Witch is the Witch, and I lay that down

(09:19):
to the judges.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Carmen, are you ready for your rebuttal period?

Speaker 6 (09:24):
I'm ready.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
I'm ready start the clock.

Speaker 6 (09:26):
Well, Scarlet Witch, you know what that is A I
will say, a fair attempt to bring down the most
wicked rich of them all, Banetta.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Now I will.

Speaker 6 (09:38):
Say the Scarlet Witch. I will give her that she
does have the ability to control world with her mind.
But I ask you who is creating those worlds? Who
is the one that is pulling the threads of those worlds,
Because let me tell you, Bayonetta she has those people
bending to her will, which I think is something that

(09:58):
the Scarlet Witch is. She still needs a little more
practice on now, banettas she's been around for several hundred years.
She spent a few hundred of those under the water
waiting to be brought to the surface. But once she
got her memories back, she was able to kick ass
and also take control of all of the alternate dimensions

(10:22):
and each of the Bayonettas within those dimensions, And she
has the ability to harness the power of Hell, which
I don't.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
I don't know that.

Speaker 6 (10:34):
Scarlet Witch has all of the demons of Hell behind her,
you know, but I think she's got, She's got. It's
a fair attempt, you know, I will, as I've said,
But I do think that with Bayonetta's ability to use

(10:55):
all of these different weapons and all of the different
demons that she has at her disposal, I just don't
know if Scarlett, which still has the ability if we
put them toe to toe, I don't know if they
could fight each other. But if they were able to
uh fight side by side, I think Scarlett which could
stand a chance with Bane helping her out.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
I like that the team up, the team up. Scott
tell us her best style? What's the best style?

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Thing?

Speaker 2 (11:21):
I want to know I need to know about.

Speaker 6 (11:22):
Oh well, I mean, come on, her clothes are made
out of her hair. And when she asked to some
of those some of her demons using her hair, I mean,
what can Scarlett whit to do with her hair? I
just want to.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
Yeah, I'm says, well, exact thank you to our thank
you to our guests, are contestants, are judge. The judges
are going to convene for a short period of time,
and then we're going to come back with some questions.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
Jason, before we dismiss our contestants and retired numbers. I
have a very quick question that I need answered. Uh,
can you give us your witch's class alignment?

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Are they? Are they neutral?

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Good?

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Lawful? Evil? Where where do you picture your individual witch
is alignment?

Speaker 1 (12:11):
I will say that that you know, I'm not sure
if there is a canonical alignment for Scarlet Witch, but
she is definitely chaotic good. I think that is where
she lands with Scarlet Witch. She's she's generally trying to
do good, but she's probably gonna cause some chaos any
common how about you?

Speaker 6 (12:32):
Yeah, Banada is most certainly a chaotic good character. She
is ch crazy, she's sassy, she's sexy. Yeah, but she
is for She is trying to save the world, but
mainly so that she can continue to play around and
have fun in the world.

Speaker 5 (12:46):
And I respect it me too. Okay, great, thank you, Judge,
I appreciate that.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
Let's go to a quick break and then Judge Schoelle
and I will retire to chambers and to discuss a
little bit what we've read about, and we're back. Joelle.

(13:15):
Do you have a favorite witch?

Speaker 6 (13:17):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (13:19):
Yes, and but it's it's a real deep cut. It's
it's a super deep cut. It is the fortune Teller
from eaves by You. Oh yeah, I would also do.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
Uh, the contestants are not in chambers.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Get out of here. Contestants, do not listen to get that.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Sorry, we're here with our feet, were our shoes off.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
It are like.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Do you not? You're not here?

Speaker 5 (13:50):
My second favorite, which is Angela Bassett in Horror Story,
Because my god, about how about you favorite witch?

Speaker 4 (13:58):
I gotta go the O g do hell yam, you know,
killed by a man, turned into a weapon of mass
destruction against her will. All she wanted to do was
just hang out and turn people to stone when they
broke into her house.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
See, and here you're in.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
One.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
She did not deserve this two.

Speaker 5 (14:20):
I think you're lies the distinct difference in our judging.
I love that you're like, listen, ancient badass og witch.
I was like aesthetics, uh, modern pop culture, kind of
real deep art house, sort of divide in there. So
what stood out to you about our contestants arguments up front?

Speaker 4 (14:44):
It's that we are dealing with two very powerful witches. Yes,
and I think that style is going to be an
important Oh yeah, this judging because we're talking about two
of the most stylish you know, this is not pointy
hat shit in the fucking room We've gone. This is
like way, way way beyond that and unraveling how these

(15:09):
witches affect our guests. M What it is that resonates
so much about these witches with our guests, I think
is going to be a big part of our process.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
What about you?

Speaker 4 (15:22):
What's stand out to you?

Speaker 5 (15:24):
You know, you're talking about style I'm thinking about like
Scarlet Witch Elizabeth Oldinsen as Scarlet Witch in the movies
gives us kind of the first good like I'm just
throwing powers at you. Vibe like her hand movements, like
other than maybe The Magicians, which is a TV show
where they're also casting spells with their hands, Like this
is some of the most convincing like Witch performance I've

(15:44):
seen in that kind of dynamic level.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
But then I am not.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
I haven't played a lot with banettas, so you know,
I'm not as familiar. But I have seen enough videos
of Bandetta's guns just popping out at every corner of
her body to be like, this is a bad.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
Bitch in heals.

Speaker 5 (15:58):
My God, she's so cool. So I do think style
is going to play a big part. I am really
going to be leaning into the chaotic good underlying good
because I have questions. I wield four guns good Maybe
maybe not? Rosie said, it's what she eventually makes the
right decision. She's having a lot of bad ones before

(16:20):
she gets to the good ones in my experience with
the character, so I've I'm wrestling with where they've placed
their witches.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
I'm going to interrogate that of it.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
Well, I think I think context is going to be important, right,
because I think the lore we got to get into
the lore. What do in what magical system? In what
world do these witches ply their trade? And how does
their particular technique with magic fit within that larger system?

(16:49):
You know, I think that's going to be a big,
big part of our questioning. Shall we go back into
the courtroom and address our our guess? Yeah, all right, ladies,
it is time now for the judges interrogation. Let's let's
start with you, Carmen. Carmen, tell us about Bayonetta's witch

(17:13):
and magical legacy. What is her magical style, what is
her witch style? And from what particular magical school, if
such a thing can be applied to Bayonetta? Does? She does?

Speaker 6 (17:27):
She descend She comes from a long legacy of which
is called the Umbrine Witches, and she uses her powers,
especially called bullet magic. And she's trained in the fine
arts of bullet magic through the Umbrine Witches. And they

(17:48):
are a class of witches that are are women only,
and Byanetta is actually born of the male only of witches.
Who oh, you know what, I can't remember them, right, now,
but they're not as important so we don't have to
worry about them.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
But she is.

Speaker 6 (18:14):
Mainly getting her power from the underworld, which you know,
it is a bad place, how it gets a bad
rap you know. And she is killing angels, I will admit, well,
but these angels, these angels, they're not so angelic.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
Oh, okay, Rosie, same question tell us about want to
maximum off the Scarlet witches particular magical legacy, and you
know where how her power fits within a larger uh
magical structure.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
So Scarlet Witch comes from a long line of Romany
family members from the maxim Of family who were born
naturally with magic rather than a mutation.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
There have been centuries.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
Of Maximovs who have gone by either the Scarlet Witch
or the Scarlet Warlock, using the color red to showcase
their powers.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
There is years of power.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Going back to Natalia and Django Maximov and all along
they have been fighting Agatha Harkness, a witch of New Salem.
So this is hundreds of years of which protection against
some of the Salem witches. Though I will say Scarlet
Witch's powers work within a world where there are many

(19:36):
different superpowers, many different mutations.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Yet she is an ongoing magic.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Character who naturally accesses magic, unlike say a sorcer of Strange.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Who has to study. So she is the og witch
of Marvel.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
Thank you, Rosie, uh Joelle?

Speaker 5 (19:54):
Yeah, all right, So, contestants, I'm struggling with the chaotic
good nature of a multiple gun wielder and a woman
who's reached so much havoc on so many lives. Most
people have scars. Carmen Bayonetta is confronted with the horrors

(20:14):
of an active shooter in a crowded space. As a
chaotic good character, what are her go to moves to
neutralize the situation?

Speaker 6 (20:24):
Well, that's a perfect question. She would immediately go into
which time and in which time she would have the
ability to neutralize the active shooter without even the bullets
hitting a single person. So Bayonetta would be able to
slow down time, neutralize the shooter, bring the shooter into
an alternate dimension or parallel dimension rather, and then deal

(20:49):
with it from there.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Nobody would be harmed.

Speaker 6 (20:52):
Nobody would even actually in this situation, would even know
that there was an active shooter going on. It would
be like, within a blink of an eye, it would
be like it's over. So I do think. Uh, I
would absolutely trust Banetta with my life in an active
shooter situation. She would she would hold it down for me.

Speaker 5 (21:11):
Oh man, an idyllic A solution to this horrifying problem was.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Truly truly great. Okay. So Rosie, in a similar vein
a question for you is wait? Okay, first one side question.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
Are you arguing for want to Maximov the entity or
the MCU character or college.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
You mentioned some of the stuff in the comic books, so.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Maybe I would say, like, I would just say that
really it's all one and the same, because most of
the media stuff just comes from the comic. Okay, so
it's it's the Scarlet Witch, but it is one to
Maximov Scarlet Witch.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
It's not like the five hundred Years got Gotcha?

Speaker 3 (21:47):
Gotcha?

Speaker 5 (21:48):
Gotcha?

Speaker 4 (21:48):
Okay, Okay.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
In that case, Want to Maximov is confronted by Charles
Xavier telling her she needs needs to tamp down on
them power. She's using them too much. It's wild and wieldy. Uh,
he's Xavier, he knows best. How does she respond to
this request?

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Look is look, Charles Xavier, first of all, just stop
it please, Like this man is obsessed with controlling women's powers.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
So in this case, I'm not gonna lie. I'm gonna
be real with you guys. Look, chaotic good means there's
some chaos.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
So I think what she would do is she would
probably use her world altering powers to go into Charles
Xavier's brain and be like, bro, take these power blocks off,
Jean Gray, take them off other women.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
How about we let women be powerful?

Speaker 1 (22:44):
And then she would, you know, talk to those women
and be like, hey, let's let's show Charles Xavier that
we don't need power blocks. Let's just do a little magic.
Let's be free. But also let's let's make sure he
can't do that anymore, because that's actually fucked up.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
So Charles Xavier stop, and.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
Maybe she would come into the x mansion and teach
a few lessons to show that witchcraft is not so
different from mutation.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
Charles Xavier, Okay, she's out here educating.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
Thank you so much to our contestants. We will now
go to our closing statements and least have a minute
each to make your final argument about why your witch
is the witch. Rosie, let's start with you.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
I think that I have been very impressed, as always
with Carmen osk Green Queen, incredible pick deep cut, I
love it. I think what Scarlet Witch has a little
bit above Bayonetta is Bayonetter is a great example of
a reimagining and reinterpretation of the witch law in a
really unique and original way. Scarlet Witch was already that

(23:46):
in Marvel. Scarlet Witch existed outside of the black Hat
Salem witch crowd. Scarlet Witch represented a kind of female
empowerment through witchcraft that Marvel had not seen at that point.
And rue the movies and the TV shows and One
Division and the comic books and the animated series. She

(24:06):
is now one of the most well known witches on Earth.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
I think she is the witch.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
I think most kids would recognize Scarlet Witch, and I
think that she has inspired a lot of women to
embrace that witchy part of themselves in contemporary culture.

Speaker 6 (24:25):
Carmen, all right, well, I think you know Byanetta is
the the witch to end all witches. She has all
of the witch lare and culture kind of wrapped into one.
She's sexy, sexy, she's smart, she's cool. She invented the
office siren. Uh, you know, aesthetic that we know with

(24:48):
her sexy little glasses that she wears, and she has
the ability to stop time and save the world if
she wants to, but also make it and to a
funny like physical comedy gag at the same time. If
she wants to, she can do a kaiju battle with

(25:08):
the biggest Godzilla looking demon you've ever seen, or she
can fight an alternate dimension alternate dimensional creature that wants
to kill everyone. And at the end of the day,
she's going to do it because she wants to spend
time with her sister Jean and have a good caviar.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
Thank you to our contestants. Let's take a quick break
and then Joel and I will be back with our judgments.
And we're back chilling in chambers before we announce the judgment. Joel,

(25:55):
your thoughts, any any thoughts before we give our judgments.

Speaker 5 (26:00):
I do have a lead runner. I think one of
these witches as really hit the tenants of witch Dome
that I most identify with the sister here the cost.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
Because I think it's important that I think we need
to lay out our philosophy maybe a little bit here.

Speaker 5 (26:19):
Sure, sure, yeah, okay, So to me, a witch has
to be about like about four things, Okay, One is okay,
style a whitch should be substantive. Don't get me wrong,
We'll get there. But I need her to look good,
and I need her to cast spells good. I need
her spells to look cool. Her domicile should look cool
as hell like. I need all of it to really click.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
Just laid her head a night.

Speaker 5 (26:42):
That needs to be dope too. Two I need her
to be a capital F feminist. She needs to be
about the girlies. She's here for the women, whether it's
Coven style, whether she's out getting revenge for the women.
I'm not partial to how she does it, but she
needs to be about the ladies, okay. Three she does
have had to have gone through some kind of ordeal,

(27:04):
some sort of hurdle, whether that's and usually it's men.
Men have wronged her and she's overcome. That's how we
become witches. And three the magic needs to make sense.
In other words, if she don't have some kind of
like limits, boundaries, construction around how the magic works within
their world should be excellent. Otherwise it becomes the boring

(27:26):
character really fast. Those are my fourtennantes. How are you
judging the best witch?

Speaker 4 (27:31):
I think those are the great I think those are
great to go to. I'm gonna add I'm gonna add
philosophy and ethics to it, because I think power is
nothing without some sort of ideology to govern it. But
I like yours a lot, and I will say that
I think I think it's going to be a close one.

(27:51):
You know, style is push. I think for the girlies,
the coven action is an interesting conversation, and I think
that the power set making sense. I think it might.
I think that might be the defining I think it
might be the defining question in many ways. Let's return

(28:12):
to the courtroom, okay, and give our verdict, and we're back.
Rosie Carmen, thank you so much for bringing this case
before us. It's very interesting, it's quite compelling, and I
think we have a verdict for you. Joel, would you
like to start?

Speaker 3 (28:30):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (28:31):
Now, I would like to say I have mad respect
for both of these witches.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
They've been through so much.

Speaker 5 (28:36):
They've both served and delivered when it comes to looks.
They've made risky and difficult choices that I hope never'd
have to face in my life.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
I could not judge them really.

Speaker 5 (28:47):
Okay, they're amazing people, but someone has to be a winner,
and because of her willingness, nay I say, daring to
travel to Hell to save her bestie, because.

Speaker 6 (28:59):
Of the heat, because of the way, because the hair.

Speaker 5 (29:02):
Is both a prop and accessory and potentially a weapon.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
Okay, because because her powers.

Speaker 5 (29:09):
Episode dope, and she seems, at least in my limited
knowledge of this conversation of her, to be ultimately a
good chaotic witch. I'm gonna vote for Banetta. Harmon you
have won me over.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
And I love this. Yeah, I'll take it common. You
did a fantastic job.

Speaker 4 (29:28):
Jason, Well, I will say it was quite It's quite close.
And I think for style, it's a push. It's really
up to uh, you know, you know, whatever one prefers,
you can't. There's nothing really to critique about the style
of either Wanda's has evolved over time, but all the

(29:49):
evolutions have been have been wonderful. I think in terms
of being for the Sisterhood, both of them do it
in different ways. Bayonetta in a more direct action kind
of way, charging the gates of Hell in order to
do that. Wanda as a symbol, I think, you know,

(30:10):
I think her interpersonal relationships kind of boots on the
ground level are more complex, but in terms of what
she embodies and what she means and what she symbolizes
to so many, it's you know, hard to say anything
against her. I came down to the For me, it
came down to the powers. And Okay, I agree that

(30:31):
that the guns are not they're not typical, but the
bullet magic is compelling. And I think the fact that
Bayonetta is a is comes from video games means that
the powers are they have to make sense within some
sort of a system. And I think while I love Wanda,

(30:58):
one weakness in her presentation, I think throughout time has
kind of been that uh Stan and Jack and whoever else,
mostly guys that have been writing her, they never really
got their arms around the magical system in a way
that wasn't just like Wanda gets excited and bad.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
Marshall, she's literally a chaos magician.

Speaker 3 (31:28):
She got really mad or.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
She got you know, and and so therefore, and I
want to stress that I love both of these, which
of course I think.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
That was a very fun pull.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
And I think I'm gonna lean towards Benetta because because
of the structurerowd air, and again that is no shade
to to want to Maxim off the Door, but who
we absolutely adore and means the world too many many guys.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
I would say the most important thing here is that.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
We have come to the conclusion that there needs to
be a version of Scarlet Witch with guns and Bayonetta
Scarlet Witch crossover team up.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
The team up and they both need guns. Let's get
gradual Witch guns.

Speaker 4 (32:23):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
