Speaker 1 (00:00):
Previously on your Morning show with Michael dil Choano.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Roy O'Neil has all things post Super Bowl. Good morning Rory, No,
good morning, Michael.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Just not a great game and even the commercials on
the side, okay, nothing. I don't know it. It was
the mediocre Bowl. I don't think it was all that
super as of last night. And of course, as you
said the halftime show, I think it breaks down along
the age demographic for the most part. As to older
people like myself saying I can't understand the word he's saying,

(00:32):
this is awful.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
I'm thinking, I'm thinking of mine. I'm thinking of my headmaster,
Tommy Keho, who if you had walked on the campus
of Kio Academy, would have looked at your feet and
sent you straight to the pool, or we would have
looked at your size and put you right at offensive
tackle or put you right on the basketball team. Did
you play football when you were younger, because you're very large?
More basketball, more basketball? Yeah, So I played defense. I

(00:57):
played nose tackle, and so I think it matters, you know,
how you view the game. That was such a dominant,
great defensive perform It's kind of like what we do
in the World Series. When we talk about pitching wins
World Series, and then when you have great pitching and
low scoring games or one sided games, we say, oh,
that was a crummy series. That was the most dominant
defensive play I've seen since the eighty five Bears, and
that was exciting for me. Yeah, well, I know, it's

(01:21):
all a matter of perspective. I thought the game was
one sided. That always runs the risk of getting a
thumbs down. But it was a great defensive performance and
there were some great offensive moments. The pregame was blocked
to me. The halftime was a disaster. I mean, somebody
needs to take this contract away from who is it
that has a jay Z or whoever jay Z? I
think he's part of it. Yeah, and Apple and Apple,

(01:42):
that was kind of a disaster. I still don't know
what won the gator Rade because it looked yellow to me,
But I guess green was the right answer.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Yeah a great yeah, lime green, Yeah, green, yellow ish.
But you know, I'm still looking over the list of
the halftime performers. We are way overdue for a country
performance on the halftime.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I'd be going in the right direction. What's the guy Morgan?
Morgan any of those would be a great job. Any
Wilson all right, and Uhry, bad news for Rory. The
Patriots didn't win all things super Bowl of Rory. Thanks,
have a great day. Oh I know I did. I

(02:20):
didn't mean to do that.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Miss a little, miss a lot, miss a lot, and
we'll miss you. It's your Morning Show with Michael del Churno.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
