Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, it's me Michael. Your morning show has heard live
from five to eight am Central, six to nine am Eastern,
three to six am Pacific on great radio stations like
News Radio eleven ninety k EX in Portland, News Talk
five point fifty k FYI, and Phoenix, Arizona in Freedom
one oh four seven in Washington, d C. We'd love
to have you join us live in the morning, even
take us along on the drive to work, but better

(00:21):
late than never. Enjoy the podcast on.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Two three, starting your morning off right.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
A new way of talk, a new way of understanding,
because we're in this together.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
This is your morning show with Michael O'Dell Trump. It's
classic Donald Trump, classic Donald Trump. He's not only going
to make a point, he's going to destroy a narrative
in the process. My two favorite stories The Washington Post
I'm not the Washington Post rather the Wall Street Journal

(00:57):
and an op ed please just positioning the Democrats for
what they are, obstructionists, demonstrators against the will of the
American people. Because this is the same Donald Trump and
the American people are behind. But it puts you in
a position of marching for waste, marching for bureaucrats, things
the American people, of course, are not interested in They're

(01:19):
interested in themselves and peace, prosperity, and security. That's a
favorite story. But what Donald Trump is doing to dismantle
a major narrative of the far left. Don't miss that
coming up in just a couple of minutes. Roy O'Neil
is here on your morning show, our national correspondent. Meta
has begun to cut thousands of jobs. Why to focus

(01:41):
on AI investment? You know, remember when in all the
futuristic movies the future was all controlled by robots kind
of sort of turned out that way only with AI,
didn't it.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
It seems to be falling into place that way. But yeah,
Meta is on a cutting spree. A four thousand employees
are expected to lose their jobs, and the weeks ahead
that's about five percent of their global workforce. So this
is happening for people in Asia, Europe and the United States.
With that, again, the total of four thousand, they say
the money is going to be saved to pump into AI.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
But a lot of this is also for show.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Because you know, the companies want to look like they're
getting into AI too.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Well, that's a very interesting angle. I was going to
say where's a rim shot when you need him? And
how many of these jobs being cut were replaced by AI? Well,
I thought that was going to be the punchline, but
you brought up something that's that's true because well, perception
is reality, right, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
And Musk, I'm sorry Zuckerberg had boy, there's something there.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Well, because Musk is thinking about buying one that's in
the news too.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Well, right, he made the bit for open AI and
they said, no, thanks, we'll buy Twitter back for pennies
on the dollar.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
I thought that was a funny response.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
But yeah, the it's disappearance to look like you're on
the cutting edge and investing in all this stuff, because
Zuckerberg has been on this make Meta, lean and mean
push since twenty twenty three after getting overly bloated during
the pandemic. You know, the company's added a trillion dollars
in market valuation in that time. And again, you know,
they want to look like they're leading the charge on AI,

(03:16):
but that's not really where most people turn.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Is Meta for that? Vice President Vance of course, speaking
at a forum, you know, saying we have to keep
AI unleashed for the future, and I'm just wondering you know,
like a year ago, two years ago, the narrative was
AI is this big Pandora's box that's been opened and
it can't be put back in. Careful what you're playing
for now, all of a sudden, we want no regulations.
We want wide open you know, Western frontier of AI.

(03:42):
Have we really thought this through?

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Because musk Is wants the guardrails more than anybody. And
you know, I was just listening to advance the Vice
President's speech and yeah, I mean he wants to. He
sort of slammed the regulatory nature of the EU. But
at the same time that you know, the US is
going to be a leader here expecting seven hundred billion

(04:05):
dollars in global investment in AI in the year ahead,
half of that in the US.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
By the way, Royal chime in and say, I get that,
and that's a smart strategy. You want to be. If
AI is the future, you want to be the leader
in it, just like if space is the future, you
want to be the leader in it. I get all that,
but what are you leading? I mean, you know we're
going to get to a point. Some of the a
I've watched over the weekend was, well, take the Jimmy
Johnson feature. I don't know if you saw it during
the Fox pregame, they actually brought Jimmy Johnson back to

(04:32):
life as a high school player a college player. It
ends with the high school player handing a football to
the old man version, and you know it's unrecognizable. But
I mean, we're going to get to a point where
we don't know what's real and what isn't. I mean,
you're going to have world leaders saying awful things. I mean,
I've seen some of the conspiracy theories online about how
they can project into the sky images and you know,

(04:54):
weird one of the weird viral Have you even seen
this roy the conspiracy theory that like in in the
world of Islam, they'll do Mohammad in the sky. In America,
they'll do Jesus in the sky and they'll all tell
you, you know, and usher in the anti Christ that kind
of thing. But you know, as crazy as that may
be as a conspiracy theory, it is technologically possible. I mean,

(05:17):
what are we really opening the door to without any oversight?
For me, loss of reality is going to be the
biggest thing because we're not going to know what really
was said was worth right. If you're skeptical about everything,
it's going to be a challenge. Roy's going to be back,
by the way, in the third hour. We're going to
talk about employer's worst fear, revenge quitting. I can't even

(05:40):
figure out how that works, but Roy will be back
with that story in the third hour. Thanks Rory A
right eleven minutes after the hour on your morning show,
Thank you, good morning. Welcome to Tuesday, February the eleventh,
twenty twenty five. I have two favorite stories. The first
is a pretty simple one. I'll give you an example,
kind of a tease. In our Sound of the Day,

(06:02):
it was a who's who of the left and they
all average ninety years old. But here's Maxine Waters leading
the hands off our CFPBI.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Listen, Elon Musk, where are you bring your ass of
a hair so you can say who's here and what
we're doing.

Speaker 6 (06:23):
We're not afraid of you.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
We know that you are.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
The co president now of the United States of America.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
But latest see this fails on so many fronts, this
whole notion, and it's just a it's a straw man. Suddenly,
the left's narrative is going to be Elon Musks co president.
If there's one thing the American people know, it's Donald
Trump is president. If there's one thing the American people
don't know, it's who the hell was president the previous

(06:52):
four years. So this kind of blows up in their
face instantly. Nobody thinks Elon Musk is behind the Resolute
desk calling the show, or even a co president. He
just presides Overdoge, which is just doing a research project
to identify overspending or corrupt spending. But they keep playing

(07:15):
that card, and at the end of the day, the
card they're playing is obstruction. Now, obstruction wasn't a bad
card the first time around, Hilary won the popular vote,
Donald Trump won the electoral College. He was an outsider
they portrayed as a nut, so they could play obstruction.
This time is not that way. Donald Trump won with

(07:38):
three hundred and twelve Electoral College votes. He won the
popular vote, and the American people are behind him with
what he's doing. We went through all the research yesterday.
They believe he's doing exactly what he said he would do.
Their words to describe him were courageous, productive. Now you're
obstructing the will of the American people. Not Donald Trump.

(07:59):
But at the end of the day, what are you
marching for? Bureaucracy? Waste corruption. Here's the op ed piece
in the Wall Street Journal headline, Democrats stand up for
bureaucrats against DOJE subtitle Whose idea was it to have
Chucky Schumer lead a protest outside the Treasury? You couldn't

(08:21):
have been a scene that better explains our current politics
than the one last week outside the Treasury in Washington.
Some genius of the Democrat Party eventually thought it was
a good idea to put some of the party's most
prominent faces, most notably Sate Minority Leader Chucky Schumer, in
front of the cameras to protest Elon Musk's effort to

(08:41):
get inside the books of the federal government and his
presidential mandated campaign to root out inefficiency and overspending. It
was a spectacular at three minute and thirty four second
segment with Joe Rogan, I could read it to you

(09:05):
hard to play it for you. In fact, I could
only find eight seconds where Joe doesn't use the F word.
But here's his main point. And what they've found so
far is very enlightening, and it's not good. It's not
good at all. So anybody that's not commenting on the hey,
you know what, they are finding a lot of unbelievable
waste and corruption. Yeah, but also he shouldn't be able
to do that. And that's about as long as as

(09:27):
far as I can go without an f bump. But
it's the insanity of it. Wall Street General gets it.
Joe Rogan gets it. Our idea of the day. Perhaps
that's where Donald Trump ri Elon Musk need to go
and get the message out to the American people and
avoid the matrix. I mean, even the penny is a
great example. He may be nostalgic about the penny, but

(09:48):
at the minute it takes four cents to make something
worth one cent. That's not a good idea anymore. We
can round off the nickel, doesn't The nickel makes just
as bad sense. I don't know how that hasn't come up.
It costs it's eleven and a half cents to make
a nickel. Let's just round off to ten cents. You're
talking hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars a year.

(10:16):
My other favorite story, how Donald Trump is brilliantly addressing
and imploding a left narrative you remember what they were
telling you, He's the great insurrectionist with the silent dog whistled.
That only is other insurrectionists like you and I can hear,

(10:39):
by the way, a narrative you could maybe get away
with if only twenty five percent of the American people
supported Donald Trump. Depending on the issue, it's anywhere from
fifty six to eighty percent. But they made him out
to be the boogeyman. They made him out to be
the devil. The ultimate is if you elect Donald Trump,

(11:02):
not only is he going to destroy the soul of
America and dismantle democracy and end democracy forever. Donald Trump
is going to get revenge against all of his enemies.
But what do they do with today's two stories? Donald
Trump ordered the Justice Department to drop all charges against

(11:23):
New York City Mayor Eric Adams Democrat. Today Donald Trump
announces Rod Blagoyevitch, who he commuted in his first term.
Just to show you this isn't a stunt. Donald Trump
was always this way. They didn't want you to know that.
Then now in his second term, he pardons the Illinois Governor,

(11:45):
Rod Blagoyovitch. Now, rob Igoyevitch was a CD character. I
hadn't even had to scratch my hat on that one
and go what are you doing? Rod? That was as
slime as it gets. But the misuse of the FBI
in the same way they misused the FBI against Donald
Trump makes them very similar. And he stands against it.
So the President stands by a Democrat New York City mayor.

(12:08):
So if this guy's out to get revenge, what do
you do with Eric Adams and Rod Blagoyevitch today? Because
for the Left, they can never seem to figure it out.
Their narratives always die, and the cause of death is
always reality. It's your morning show with Michael del Chno.

(12:29):
So they did a special thing like I would know
how to say King Abdullah. Okay, So they a reminder
from John Decker it's Abdullah, not Abdul. So I thought,
why don't we just later on when I'm interviewing him,
I'll keep calling him King Abdul. Just see how many
times correct they would should he loves I mean, at

(12:52):
first I was insulted. You don't think I know how
to say Abdullah. He'll get hot under the collar as Abdula, Michael,
not Abdul. You know, my nickname was when I was
a kid, scorch My dad said, I like to scorch people.
President Trump has set the whole talk. So with the
King of Jordan Abdullah, it'll be the second meeting with

(13:16):
the Arab leader at the White House, first of the
President's second term. Things they might talk about depends on
what narrative you're buying. Do you really think Donald Trump
wants to own the Gaza Strip? Do you still think
he wants to make Canada the fifty first date? I
think he wants to invade Panama in Greenland. Then you
think it might be about ownership of the Gaza Strip.

(13:38):
It could be about who pays for the rebuilding of
Palestine and how they keep radical Islamis sad of there.
But you never know. We just know that they meet today. Now.
Trump made it very clear yesterday. If every Israeli hostage
has not been released from the Gaza by Saturday, here
comes that hell to break loose.

Speaker 7 (13:55):
The President made the commerents and the Oval authors Monday.

Speaker 8 (13:59):
Saturday, and after that it's going to be a different
ballgain Trump.

Speaker 7 (14:05):
Citie would recommend the ceasefire in places since January should
be canceled. If all Israeli hostages were not released by
noon on Saturday, after the Palestinian Militant Group's terrible threat
earlier Monday to postpone any further hostage prisoner exchanges.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
I'm Mark Mayfield. You know what that means. Saturday at
the Bike Racks three o'clock Satate Democrats are launching a
portal for whistleblowers to report the Trump administration's alleged abuse
of power. Brian shook me all morning Long has the story.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and top Democrat on the Homeland
Security Committee Gary Peters are leading the charge. They wrote
in a letter to federal civil service employees and public servants,
we are prepared to issue demand letters, preserve public records,
and pursue legal action where necessary. They noted the Whistleblower
Protection Act bans any retaliation against federal workers who tip

(14:59):
off wrongdoing.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
I'm Brian Schuk. You know the left narrative Donald Trump's
going to get revenge against all his political enemies. Well,
he ordered the Justice Department to drop all charges against
the New York City Democrat Mayor Eric Adams, and now
President Trump is granting a full pardon to former Democratic
Illinois Governor Rod Blagoyevitch. Tammy Trihilo reports.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
A pardon announced Monday comes nearly five years after Trump
commuted the former governor's prison sentence.

Speaker 8 (15:25):
It's my honor to do it.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
I've watched him.

Speaker 8 (15:28):
He was set up by a lot of bad people,
some of the same people that I had to deal with.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Lagoyevitch was released from federal custody in twenty twenty after
serving eight years for federal corruption charges, including trying to
sell Barack Obama's.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Former US Senate seat.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
I'm Tammy Trihillo.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Was lots of the Spurs calves, one of the Wolves. Warriors,
beat the Bucks, thunder up the Pells Kings by one
over the MAVs. Blazers lost to the Nuggets by twenty nine,
and the Lakers win easy won thirty two to one to
thirteen over the Jazz. Birthdays Jennifer Aniston in fifty six
years old, Today Twilight's Jacob Taylor Launer thirty three, singer
Cheryl Crows sixty three, and former Florida governor. And that

(16:08):
man is electric Jeb Bush mister Energy seventy three. If
it's your birthday, Happy birthday. So glad you were born
and thanks for making your morning show a part of
your big day. Hi.

Speaker 9 (16:19):
I'm Andrea del Giorno and my husband and my morning
show is your Morning show with Michael del Jorno.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Hi, it's Michael. Your morning show can be heard live
on great radio stations across the country like WILM and
w DOV and Wilmington and Dover, Delaware or wgst AM
seven twenty the Voice in Middle Georgia. We're gonna need
some blankets. News Radio six fifty k e NI, Anchorage, Alaska.
We'd love to be a part of your morning routine.
Now enjoy the podcast. White House correspondent John Decker is

(16:56):
going to join us momentarily and we're gonna drive him crazy.
I'm gonna keep saying King Abdul instead of Abdullah and
see how many times he corrects me. First things, First,
to WHLO, how will we go? I have a question
about the DOGE.

Speaker 6 (17:09):
Was it created by the Obama administration because someone had
sent me a video stating that it has been It
wasn't created by the current administration.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
Let me know. Uh No, it's created by the current
administration through executive order. Probably with that confusion, and I
can only guess when people do misinformation, I can only
guess where they're getting it. In twenty fourteen, following the
healthcare dot gov rollout, the Obama administration created what is
now the Legacy USDs, that is the US Digital Service,

(17:43):
not DOGE. DOGE, created by executive order by Donald Trump,
is to look for government spending inefficiencies or corruption. And
that's exactly what it's doing. Telsey Gabbert is a step
closer to becoming the next Director of National Intelligence. A
collapse of the landing gear is the apparent cause of
a deadly plane crash near Phoenix involving a jet owned

(18:03):
by Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil. Vince Neil was
not on the flight. Tiger Woods is withdrawing from his
own PGA event in California, mourning the death of his mother,
and Donald Trump is set to hold talks with the
King of Jordan today. He'll be welcoming the Arab leader
to the White House for the first time since he's
returned to office. Trump has also laid the groundwork for

(18:26):
the time frame if all hostages Israeli hostages are not
released Saturday by noon, that promised, all hell is going
to break loose for Hamas is back with the timeline
of this Saturday at noon. Well, gee, I'm finally ready
to play a joke on him. No, no, he's late
unless he was six fifty and I messed up. Let

(18:49):
me know. Okay, So he did a special little thing,
you know the interview, you know, basically said President Trump's
plan for dealing with issues in the Middle East will
be the topic when the President meets with Kingdulah. Then
they sent another advisory, John Decker wants all correspondent, all
hosts to know it's Abdullah not Abdul, which I at

(19:10):
first I was like, well, that's insulting. We all know
how to say the king's name. But then I thought, well,
let's drive him crazy and keep calling him King Abdul
and see how many times he corrects us. Well, if
we ask him about his daughter Paula, and if we'll
die in Paula Abdul and that paul Abdul's daddy, we'll
do that. When coming up, one of the big things
that we've talked about for the past several days was

(19:31):
how out of touch the Democrats are with the American people.
That's what led to their loss in the election. They
were wrong on the economy, they were wrong on the border,
they were wrong on biological men playing in women's sports.
They were still playing wokeness as wokeness was dying. So
they majored in minors, minored in majors. All right, Well,

(19:54):
then you lose with three hundred and twelve Electoral College
votes and the popular vote. What do you do now?
What's interesting is I always said I think you lay low.
I think you do exactly what Fetterman is doing. You
remain a Democrat, but you don't join the insanity because

(20:16):
that's what the American people elected. That's what the American
people wanted. And you can see the polling. They see
him as doing exactly what he promised to do and
they support it. Now, depending on the issue, can be
anywhere from fifty six percent to eighty percent. John Fetterman's
handling it right, and that's why he'll make he'll gain

(20:37):
the most ground as a reasonable Democrat. But not because
Fetterman's smart, because he's in right standing. Look at this
latest Rasmussen report as the Democrats are in full obstruction mode,
full opposing and obstructing. I mean, the Wall Street Journal
crucified them whose idea was this. You're out on the

(21:00):
street in support of bureaucrats and government waste. Where are
you going with this? Meanwhile, Rasmussen asked the American people,
and fifty five percent of likely US voters believe it's
better for the Democrat Party to try to work with

(21:22):
Trump than be pure obstructionists. And we've talked about this
all week. You could get away with that. In the
first term. It was a close election with Hillary. Everybody
forgets she openly didn't think she was really beat. That
wasn't an insurrection. When Donald Trump questioned it was never

(21:44):
mind that. But he won the electoral college, lost the
popular vote. Obstruction was a play, and he was an outsider,
and he was an unknown, and he said a lot
of crazy things. This time, nobody thinks he's crazy, and
they elected him to do exactly what they elected him
to do. He's doing it and they thank him for it.
And you're now trying to be an obstructionist. It's a

(22:04):
different America and a different Donald Trump. The obstruction card
doesn't work. But the same Democrats that didn't get the
election process, they don't get the presidential process any better.
Fifty five percent say work with him. Thirty six percent
say it's better for Democrats to oppose him. They still

(22:29):
search for a message, They still search for a messenger,
and they still have neither. Well, if you're just waking
out forty one minutes after the hour, nineteen minutes to
be to work on time on the East Coast, these
are your top five stories of the day, Chelsea Gabbart,
Is it anybody notice the only Republican who will not

(22:51):
be on the cabinet was one that dropped out himself,
And I think it was an internal party play to
get rid of Gates forever. So that was a favor
to Johnson, But the rest of his nominees all keep
heading for their cabinet position. Telsey Gabbert is next. Mark
Mayfield explains she.

Speaker 7 (23:10):
Cleared a major hurdle Monday night when the US Senate
voted along party lines to advance the nomination. The final
vote to confirm the former Hawaiian congresswoman would be held
either late Tuesday evening or early Wednesday. Monday's vote was
fifty two to forty six. I'm Mark Mayfield.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
A court is blocking the Trump administration from setting a
group of migrants to Guantanamo Bay. Brian Shook reports.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
US District Judge Kenneth Gonzales temporarily stopped three Venezuelan migrants transfer.
He said in a filing that ICE was holding them
in New Mexico. They began fighting their detention before Trump
was elected president, and raised the issue of the Guantanamo
transfer over the weekend after the White House began to
transfer other Venezuelan's depicting similar characteristics. The judge noted that

(23:56):
his decision is specific to these three migrants, Ian Shook.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is directing the military to put
a pause on the recruitment of new transgendered individuals. Lisa
Taylor has more.

Speaker 9 (24:08):
Meg Seth is also ordering a suspension of plan procedures
for current service members with gender dysphoria. It comes along
with President Trump's executive order that essentially bans trans military service.
Hegseth wrote in a memorandum for senior Pentagon leadership, efforts to
split our troops along the lines of identity weaken our
force and make us vulnerable.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
I'm se Taylor. President Donald Trump is granting a full
pardon to former Democrat governor Illinois Governor Rod Blagoyevitch. Tammy
Trehilo has the details.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
The partner announced Monday comes nearly five years after Trump
commuted the former governor's prison sentence.

Speaker 8 (24:44):
It's my honor to do it.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
I've watched him.

Speaker 8 (24:46):
He was set up by a lot of bad people,
some of the same people that I had to deal with.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Wellgoyevitch was released from federal custody in twenty twenty after
serving eight years for federal corruption charges, including trying to
sell Barack Obama's former US Senate seat. I'm tammyed Trho.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Super Bowl sixty is coming to Super Bowl sixty is coming. Oh,
here we go, mister Bill Jordano, here we go foot.
It shall be the Fox guarding the Hannity Henhouse shall

(25:30):

what did I just say. I was in the middle
of a newscast said something about Fox rodding a Harley
or something. I don't I couldn't catch it. Oh, I
think I know what that is. I believe Ainsley Earhart
is going to be replaced with Harley Simkiss. What Yeah?
On Fox and Friends, in the morning. Oh well, let's

(25:54):
see if it happens. You know he normally Hey, last
time he took over, it was the Eagles winning big
and it happened. Super Bowl sixty is coming to Northern
California at Levi Stadium in the Bay. Tammy Trehilo with
the handoff story.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
San Francisco forty nine Ers owner Jed York was in
New Orleans to accept the hosting duties.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
We had a great Super Bowl and Super Bowl fifty.
This is going to blow the doors off.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
This will be the second time the game will be
at the venue in Santa Clara. This sporting event looks
to bring a significant economic boost to the region. In
twenty sixteen, the area saw a two hundred and forty
million dollar surge in sales tax revenue.

Speaker 1 (26:28):

is your morning show with Michael del Trono. But he
said pure gas. Tear gas. Said you said tear grass.
Just second, did I say tear grass. Yeah, it's all

(28:15):
the rage of the suburbs. We're all smoking it. Hey,
what do you want? It's early in the morning. Help
us fifty one minutes after the hour. Thanks for waking
up with your morning show. Thanks for being here with
your critical spirit. No, Tiger Woods lost his mother, and
as he mourns and we all pray for him at
this time of grief, he has made the announcement he's

(28:36):
going to withdraw from his own event in California. A
collapse landing gear is the apparent cause of a deadly
crash near Phoenix involving the jet owned by Motley Crue
lead singer Vince Neil Vince was not on the flight.
Telsey Gabberts step closer to becoming the next Director of
National Intelligence, and the President laid down the law once again.

(28:57):
You got till noon Saturday to release every lad Israeli
hostage or all hell is going to break loose. That's
a message directly to Hamas, including ending all ceasefire. Other
big headlines in the USA today, Trump announces a plan
to stop making new pennies. Well, they cost nearly four
cents to make and they're only worth one. You might
even want to move on to the nickel that costs

(29:17):
eleven and a half cents to make and is only
worth five cents. You're good from Diamond cord Ron and
an opinion piece just lam basing the Democrat Party. What
are you guys thinking? Democrats standing up for bureaucrats and
for waste. What's the strategy there? And today is a
big day for the president. This will be the first

(29:39):
of his second term, second visit with King Abdul from Jordan,
and our White House correspondent John Decker is here. King Abdul.
Is he any relation to Paul Abdul?

Speaker 10 (29:50):
Well, it's pronounced Abdullah and now he's no relation to
PAULA Abdul.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
We knew that they sent out a thing for our
interview today. Make sure you pronounce it Abdullah. So I
thought we would do Abdul and just to see if
you corrected it. Yeah. No, But so all the speculations.
What are they going to be talking about? And I
guess that's a matter of what narrative people are believing.
If you think Donald Trump really wants to own the Gaza,
and then it could be about that. If you think
it's about maybe others paying to rebuild it and then

(30:19):
kind of watching over it so radical Islamis don't rule
it and we end up back in the same place.
That could be the discussion. Which is it? You think?

Speaker 10 (30:28):
Well, I think certainly top of the agenda is a
follow up in terms of what President Trump said last
week during that press conference that he had with Israeli
Prime Minister.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Benjamin netnyato the idea of the US.

Speaker 10 (30:41):
Owning Gaza and moving nearly two million Palestinians from Gaza
into other neighboring Arab countries, including Jordan, and the President
said yesterday essentially.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
That he has leverage.

Speaker 10 (30:55):
He said, I would deny the aid that the US
provides to Egypt and Jordan if they don't let in
those Palestinians from Gaza.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
Into their country.

Speaker 10 (31:07):
So I think that's got to be the number one
item on the agenda, Michael.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
And we won't know for sure.

Speaker 10 (31:13):
And the reason I say that it's a closed meeting,
unlike the meetings that the President had last week with
the Israeli Prime minister, where you had that joint press conference.
No joint press conference. Today, it's a closed meeting in
the Oval Office.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Well, you just answered one of my biggest questions because
iknew it was a closed meeting, but I thought maybe
they might invited reporters in and have a joint statement afterwards.
Obviously you know King Now.

Speaker 10 (31:38):
The reason being is because King Abdullah never does those
photo ops sprays that you have at the top of
the meetings. He doesn't do them with you know, whether
it's Joe Biden in the White House or Barack Obama
in the White House or Donald Trump in the White House.
So it doesn't surprise me at all that it's a
closed meeting today, all.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Right, visiting with John Decker, white House correspondent, on the
President's play today to meet with King Abdollah. So let
me ask you this, if if the strategy is because
there's been a lot of great area and I don't
I think I'm following it right, And then I don't
know if I'm just getting media twisted. I think with
the President, is you correct me if I'm wrong. You

(32:17):
were in the room. I saw you adjusting your time.
All right. So I hear the President saying the place
is a disaster area. It's uninhabitable, it's rubble, nobody can
live there, so we're gonna rebuild it. We're gonna invent
who's gonna live there. He even made it clear, well,
the people of the world and certainly the Palestinian people,
once it's rebuilt, once it's safe and prosperous and there's

(32:38):
great jobs, they will come back. And yet you still
get media reports saying not necessarily let them back. I
can't get clarification on that. Every time I listen to
clips over and over again, it sounds like the President's
making it clear, we're gonna rebuild it, then they come back.

Speaker 10 (32:54):
Well, the President made clear in an interview that he
did with Fox that.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
They won't be coming back.

Speaker 10 (33:00):
That once they leave Gaza, you know, to go to
Jordan and to go to Saudi Arabia or to go
to Egypt.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
That's it. That's their permanent home.

Speaker 10 (33:09):
That's what he said just within the past twenty four hours.
And I realized he has said different things at different times.
That's the most recent thing that he said in regards
to his vision for Gaza, his vision for the Middle East.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
Trust me, this is on the President for not being
crystal clear. I'm not arguing with you, but that's the
clip I kept listening to. And his response to back was, well,
there's no place for him to go. I think he's
trying to say, they have to go here, then we
repair it, then they come back. But I don't know.
It hadn't been clear, and it hadn't been consistent. That's
something for them to work on.

Speaker 10 (33:43):
Well, you're right, Michael, it hasn't been consistent.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
That's for sure, because as you point out, you could.

Speaker 10 (33:49):
Play a clip from last week and that clip could
be at odds with what he's saying this week. So
not so clear. And in addition to that, you may
have seen the news and Trump made yesterday in the
Oval Office while signing a number of executive orders, including
executive orders imposing new twenty five percent tariffs on imported

(34:09):
steel and aluminum. The news that he made was is
that there's an ultimatum for Hamas, the terrorist group that's
holding those hostages and has been holding those hostages for
almost a full year and a half and the message
that he wanted to deliver to them is release those
hostages by this Saturday by noon, or in the President's words,
there will be hell to pay.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
All right, that the president had credibility because when he
first made that warning, that's when things started moving towards
peace talks, towards the release hostage here or they're aiding
like the numbers they get fifty terrists back for every
woman or thirty terrists back for every meal. Obviously the
president isn't pleased with the flow, and now he's making
it clear all by Saturday at noon or here comes

(34:51):
the hell, and may I add, you better follow through
with all hell breaking loose or you're not gonna have
credibility next time, so let's go. Well, I thus realizes.

Speaker 10 (34:59):
That realize that he's you know, he's criticized Barack Obama
for you know, when he was president crossing the red
line and of course there was no uh no response
from the Obama administration after a neat Syria across.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
That red line.

Speaker 10 (35:16):
So he's aware of when you issue a threat, you
need to follow through with that threat if the threat
is not adhere to in terms of what you want.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
First things first, Paula Abdullah meeting with the president.

Speaker 10 (35:29):
That's right there, you go, playing along with it.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
White House correspondent, got it. We're all in this together.
