Speaker 1 (00:00):
Previously on Your Morning Show with Michael del Juneau.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Sixteen for sixteen is Donald Trump with his dream team,
our journey of discovery? Just how important were three twenty
twenty four Senate election wins Dave McCormick in Pennsylvania a tracker,
Bernie Marino in Ohio. We forget now all these months later,
that was a shock. Tim Sheehey and Montana. Only three

(00:30):
GOP senators voted against Donald Trump nominees. I think, you know,
the one, Mitch McConnell proving again as opposed to child
is staying too long.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
And then Collins in Murkowski. That's always the case.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I mean, they've always been just, you know, more Democrats
than Republicans.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
But that's it.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
That's only three votes. Now here's what's interesting. Flipping the
coin of the forty seven Dems and independence who caucused
with a Democrat party, how did they vote? Take former
Senator Mark Rubio out of the mix, and the club
basically sticks together. So eight Democrats have voted against all

(01:16):
fifteen nominees, four against all, fourteen against fourteen, four against thirteen,
eight against, twelve, four against eleven, seven voted against ten
and seven voted against nine of them. Only six of
the forty seven Democrats were remotely open in their voting

(01:43):
Senate matters, and it's really mattered with confirmations. And remember
we had Rubio wasn't the only one well with Gates first,
but then he dropped out, which we think was an
internal party coup. Trump chose them knowing you'd have to
drop out and do a favor for Johnson the speaker

(02:03):
because now you're your litigates. But how many people did
he put on the cabinet that created open seats to
make this even tighter. But I mean when you look
at the Senate and these confirmations, it came. I mean,
those three elections were huge. Without those Senate races in
Ohio and Pennsylvania especially, those were shockers. This could have

(02:25):
gotten really tight. Who was the one that Hegseth was
the one that needed advance as tiebreaker?

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Right?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yeah, that was he Seth. That was the closest one.
But that's how they've been sneaking through. That's your journey
of discovery for today, Elon Musk. We're having fun with
Elon Musk today. If you're using the talk backline, if
you woke up this morning, he was at the kitchen
table going through your books.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
What would you be horrified he's finding?

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Just to show you how out of touch the left
is with America. Most voters like President Trump's decision to
put Elon Musk in charge of DOGE, and they like
the new agency's mission even more than they like Musk

(03:10):
or Trump for that matter.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Now why is that important?

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Because the Democrats have singled out Musk over Trump, DOGE
over everything. I mean, they have made this their obstructionist
line in the sand. They're digging it to those streets
with their fight. And the latest Rasmussen shows fifty five
percent of likely US voters approve of Musk being in
charge of DOGE. That includes thirty eight percent who strongly approve.

(03:43):
The strongly approved almost matches the disapprove, and it's more
than the strongly disapprove. And then even a greater majority
appreciates what DOGE is doing. Outside of Elon Musk, They're
fighting a losing battle. It would appear, with all the
outrage of Elon Musk, George Soros is disliked much more

(04:06):
than Elon Musk. Probably the most troubling thing in this
particular piece of research twenty two percent that of no
idea who George Soros is, let alone his son. That's
like not paying attention to who the Antichrist is when
you're reading Revelation.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
That's a pretty key character.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
By the way, we had somebody a modern day Jonah
about the guy got swallowed by the whale.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
I saw that video. If swallowed a whole life smoke.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Somewhere, there's somebody going these stories in the Bible are
pure fantasy. Well, there's a guy that got swallowed and
spit out. Happened this way saw it.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Meanwhile, Jesus is scribbling in the sand. I don't you.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Many on the left seem to have lost their minds
that Donald Trump tapped Elon Musk to root out fraud, waste,
and abuse. A new poll shows that Musk has a
higher approval rating with most American people than the counterpart on.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
The left, which was George Soros.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Sorrows doesn't find money to cut Soros gives money to overtake,
but you get it. Forty four percent of registered voters
said they have a favorable opinion of Elon Musk, twenty
two percent very favorable, twenty two percent somewhat favorable.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Those are pretty strong numbers.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Forty seven percent said they have an unfavorable rating somewhat unfavorable,
fourteen percent very unfavorable, thirty three percent. But he's forty
seven what was this very favorable, twenty two very unfavorable,
thirty three So if you get into the very polarized, yeah,
it starts leaning a little negative. When ask their opinion
of George Soros, that's I'm trying to get to, only

(05:46):
seventeen percent said they had a favorable rating of George Soros.
I mean, that would be your squad. You would have
to be extremely left, very favorable, compared to forty one
percent that have a somewhat unfavorable, sixteen percent very unfavorable.

(06:07):
So it's very to very is sixteenth very unfavorable to
five very favorable. Most of America season as the villainy
is far more voters said they never heard of George
Soros twenty two percent and twenty one percent run sure
seriously that that's like not understanding you're in a fight

(06:29):
and you don't even know who your enemy is, let
alone you have a mixed favorability view. But for as
crazy and you would you would have to say this
in a final Twoche. I've been harping on George Shores
because George Sorows and John Podesta have really been running
the country twelve of the last sixteen years, but uh

(06:50):
and probably twenty of the last twenty four years.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
So I've been on this. Very few have been.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
But you didn't see anybody, you know, demonizing George Sorow.
Are constantly making George Soros the story like the Left
is doing with Elon Musk, and Elon Musk leads George Soros.
So you're certainly making a mountain out of a mole hill.
You're certainly majoring in a minor. That's the bottom line.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
That's your journey of discovery.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
For this Valentine's Day cute it I drove back my
bowl trunk and let my arrow go.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Miss a little, miss a lot, miss a lot, and
we'll miss you. It's your Morning Show with Michael del Churno.
