Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time now to check Steve's voicemail at eight seven
seven twenty nine. Steve, we have a few voicemails in
response to the guy who called in and said that
you need to stop telling black people to vote.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Remember him, he didn't leave his name. This is from Vaughn.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Yes, Steve, my name is y Von. I'm calling because
of the caller that said that we are black people,
don't we shouldn't be voting. But I can remember reading
in the book I think it was in nineteen sixty something,
and they had a black woman had to count gently
being just for the right to vote. But we seemed

(00:36):
to forget that we had to lose our lives and
lose our dignity just for a right to do something
that they automatically get the right to do. We have
gotten so privileged and so caught up in that self
righteous idea of having our own, so we forget You're right.
We have to come together in order to sit at

(00:57):
the same table with them to learn what we need
to know, because we ain't gonna stick together even if
we did get our own. Half of us, they're gonna
stick together anyway, because that's just what we do. We're
so divided we can't come together, and it's sad because
we are as black people, we should be coming together.
But voting is a mandatory right for me. I know

(01:19):
people as well that feel the same way as that
call it is that don't vote and don't have them
don't even want to vote. And it makes me sick
to know that people like this don't want to vote
and don't want and have all this complaining to give
and talk about when it didn't go their way. Thank
you so much. I hope I one day here, my boy.

(01:40):
I'm not sure if I will or not, but you
guys have a wonderful day and happy Mother's Day called
the lady. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Come well you heard it.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
And here's the deal. Here's this guy talking about we
know that we need our own system. What system are
you referring to? If you don't participate in the system
we have, what would make me think you're gonna participate
in any other kind of system? But if you don't vote,
matter of fact, you would have to vote to get

(02:12):
your own system.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
You got to vote on the system. What count?

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Is it?

Speaker 4 (02:16):
So bruh? You just you just backwards?

Speaker 2 (02:19):
All right? Carolyn from Illinois. Steve. Hi, Steve, this is
Carolyn Carling from Arlington Heights, Illinois. I'm just calling to
kill you.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
I agree with everything.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
You say, and I agree with that about the black
people voting, it's ridiculous and people with them shirts blacks
for Trump and the N word for Trump.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
I agree with everything you say, Steve. I listen to
you every morning, and I thank you so much for
your intelligence and your information. I love you so much.
Have a great day.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
See. Look, that's what we do on this show. We entertain,
we uplift, we motivate, and we inform. And I'm not
gonna set up here, man for the sake of being
all right with somebody to go along with some foolishness.
I'm not going along with your foolishness. You can at
somewhere else, Man, get yourself one of them weak ass

(03:08):
podcasts or one of them ragged ass Facebook Live and
you go live with that mess. See how many followers
you got, cause we got nine point five million every day,
all right, I can remember.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Thirty four minutes after we'll we'll have more voicemails for you,
Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve, right after this,
you're listening Hard Morning Show. All right, so Steve, we're
back with your voicemails at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
and you can call us if you do want to
leave a message for Steve.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
You just might hear your call on the air. Here
we go, Steve.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
This woman left a comment about the new generation voting, Good.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
Morning Morning Show. I want to perspect, truly, truly, truly
agree with you guys about voting. That guy was gier.
It's like my dad was like fifty years voters than me,
and I think that generation voting was expected, voting was
a way of life. And the new generations, new generation,
they may vote for president and nod vote every time

(04:06):
you have that opportunity.

Speaker 6 (04:07):
You should not only vote when we're voting for a president.
That guy is figured as at L L wise because.

Speaker 5 (04:15):
Of the fact that in my industry and sell there's
so many things that you guys can actually do.

Speaker 6 (04:20):
To better yourself like that actually puts us back.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
And they talked about you're in a system. Do get
off your block, get a great job, get a great future, make.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
Some moves, get a little bit of education, be all right,
and it's not always about going to school, getting educated.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
I mean, common sense is a good idea.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Is a good idea, you know, Man, I really appreciate
the callers on this one because man, I was just
that call really and for just lack of better word,
it just pissed me off because I'm going like, yo,
or man, you don't call in here and go backwards.
I'm not gonna sit up here and do that. I'm

(05:01):
of the age where voting is an obligation. If you're twenty,
you're of an age where voting is an obligation and
a duty for black people. It's set up in here
telling black people not to vote. What kind of ignorant
mess is that? And man, you can have that. You
got another call?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Yeah, I'm que Joy has a question about voting Steeve.

Speaker 6 (05:26):
Good morning, Steve and family. My name is Joy, and
I just wanted you to address folks who are voting undecided.
They're definitely not Trump, but they also are not thrilled
with Biden. So how do you address that letting them
know that not voting at all or voting undecided is

(05:47):
not helping the cause. Thank you and have a great day.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
Well listen to me, y'all. This race is so tight.
I thought we had learned something from the last Biden
Trump election because of the results that came in from Milwaukee,
the results that came in from Detroit, the results that
came in from Philly, and the results that came in
from Atlanta. They waited and used the inner city, the

(06:10):
major city block of votes. Well, guess who the majority
of those people are us, and we determined the outcome
of the election. Okay, So that right there tells you
a lot. If you if you set this election out
because you're disgruntled with Biden, what you are then doing
is saying I'm for Trump. That's all this matters is

(06:34):
see that undecided vote is decisively in favor of Trump.
Because let me tell you something, Trump supporters ain't undecided.
They are crystal clear. They are for this man, no
matter what. Seventy million people voted for this man last time.

(06:56):
They are all gonna come back because of innately in them.
That's the America they see. That's how America was won.
America was one off of deceit and lies and trickery
and stealing. And see, nobody stole the election, but he
came up and said it was stolen, and y'all dumb

(07:18):
man sitting up in here acting like he told the
truth and you don't good to hear well it ain't true.
And Tim Scott man, you are ridiculous, bro, You are
ridiculous because you're auditioning for vice presidency. That's what you're
auditioning for. So you're already saying. Tim Scott has already
said he's not gonna honor the twenty twenty four election,

(07:38):
but they are honored if they win.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
They ain't nothing.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
Letting no slave be no vite.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
My bet I went too far. That was a drop
you thought about it. It just I don't.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
See Donald Trump selecting a black person as a running man.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
It doesn't need.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
Well because his basse, his bass don't.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Like us that part. Yeah, all right, coming up.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
You know, the nephew is here with today's right phone call,
and he might say anything in his opinions.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
He's in right after this. You're listening Morning show
