Black Enterprise CEO Earl Graves Junior canceled his participation at
this year's National Association of Black Journalists conference going down
in Chicago after he learned that Donald Trump was invited
to do a moderated discussion at this year's conference.

Lead the Black Leadership in Today's Media Landscape panel yesterday,
and he explained in a statement posted on Instagram, he said, quote,
I most emphatically state that I disagree with the decision
of the leadership of the NABJ to develop a panel
featuring Donald Trump in a session that does not include
any black media organizations and for that matter, black mail journalists.

(00:40):
He went on to say that the decision was one
of folly and cowardice and does not keep with the
historic tradition of NABJ and Black media as a whole.
The session with Trump went on as plan, where he
questioned Kamala's blackness we all saw it, saying she became black?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
What is that?

Speaker 1 (00:59):
He insulted the model and uh he was and said
he was the best president for black people since Abraham Lincoln?
What like?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Why does he keep saying that?

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Why not?

not going I do.

for him.

It was it was racist, It was racist, it was
a meaning Yeah, all of these things that describe him
on a regular because yeah, and I think people were
upset with anything.

a fellow. Yeah I got thirty we got thirty.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Thirty four yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, And maybe you want
to come.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I think people were upset because they didn't want this
organization to give him a platform at all. I understand
the talk that foolishness and be disrespectful the way it
was a waste time and.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Is cool too, Er Grave Jr. How you doing.

her Kamala Harris character up until the November election. Okay,
she's the best to ever do it.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
So she's coming back to give the people what they wanted.
They asked for this and that's what they want, so
she's given it to them. The navy blue Kamala pan

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Wait. All we have to do is vote.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
All we have to do is vote home. Yeah, this
is some good news.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Well for the Paris Summer Games, athletes that win the
gold gold medalists also receive money. They get money, they
get the medals, they get the money and from their
respective nations. As expected, the US doesn't pay as well
as other nations. The average US gold medal winner will
get only about thirty eight thousand dollars. Still a lot,

(04:48):
but yeah, when you compare it to other nations, because
because junior, we're expected, as you know, to have a.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Lot of winners, a lot of gold medals, all right,
So that's why.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
But for the all are places like say, for instance,
Hong Kong gold medalists will receive seven hundred and sixty
eight thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
That's what it should be.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
What it should Yeah, and I can assure you when
they walk over to Lebron and stuff with just thirty
eight thousand, they could be like, what is that?

Speaker 3 (05:20):
What is this here?

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Which I want to do with your rent?

Speaker 3 (05:26):
You know, well, let's just let's just donate it to somebody.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Yeah, well maybe they should do that.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
Maybe the professional athletes should donate it to the other
US athletes that aren't professionally and you know that they
don't have a big pat sports on a regular basis.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
That would be cool. You get to go mad.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Israel will get around huh, would you say.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
The soccer girls, the rugby girls. I'm sure they don't
get as much. They you could donate it to those girls.
That would be good. All women's sports.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Of course we don't have as much.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
But to your point, yes, thirty eight thousand is all
the Americans get. Gold medalists from Israel will get around
two hundred and seventy thousand.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
And then the totals, then the totals go down to
a mere thirteen thousand dollars rewards for Australian gold medalists.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Okay, yeah, this, I'm trying to find Olympic, Olympic.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
I'm trying to find something I could do an the
Olympics to just win one of these.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Yeah, right right, I'll.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Tell you thirteen thousand in Australia. We can't feed our
kangaroos with.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
This coming up.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
In twenty minutes after the hour, fifty cent showed up
at a photo shoot with three and a half million dollars.
We'll tell you how that got, how that happened.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
