Before we went to break Steve, we were talking about
the Smokey Robinson situation. Right now he's accused of sexual assault,
and how many celebrities are accused. We don't get to
hear the victim side of it, and you can't say
anything because of political correctness and all of that. You
wanted to finish your thoughts, and Carla.

Was making a valid point in that what happens with
the victim is they oftentimes gets accused of not telling
the truth, which brohibit's a lot of women from coming
forward if they're not going to be believed and can't
get their truth out there. I agree with all of that.
Here's the part that troubles me. The man that's accused,

the celebrity loses everything immediately off the accusation and the
allegation gone. He got a step off the air, he
gets removed from his job, he don't get paid, sponsors pooled.

Then just over then and and and there's nothing he
can do.

Then the course comes out, and then when it's found
out nothing happened, then that person gets to skip to.

Well, I tried to get some money, but I didn't
in the meantime, this guy or accused is left.

In shambles trying to put his career back together and.

And I mean, look at Shannon Sharp right now, Shannon
Sharp has stepped down from ESPN, all of the sponsors
have pulled from his podcast, all of them.

Coming Backathan Major. And it's because of the court of
public opinion and like you say, Steve, social media, social media.

Cause the company the sponsorer has to air on the
side of the victim in case. Yeah, and it doesn't
matter what it cost the person who's being accused, because
in Shannon's case, they've already released a lot of consensual
conversation between the two of them over two year period.

And then the woman comes out and says, well, that
was this time I was forced. Well, you got to
listen to that, because, as Carla has said before, no,
it's no yeah, now you can just or you can
make that up for some money. So then you have
to wait until it all bears out. And then when
it bears out, Shannon Shop is out of work right now.

Michael Irvin was out of work and was clear.

it follows them throughout their career. That's the bad thing.

Yeah, I think there has to be some type of
restitution when a man is cleared. You can't just go okay,
go ahead and start your life back over again. No, No,
you took from this man. You should reimburse him if
he's found innocent, Yeah, because I.

If he's guilty, Yeah, absolutely, absolutely.
