A twenty seven year old mountain climber is safe and
sound after he was rescued from the peak of Japan's
Mount Fuji for the second time in five days. The
college student became stranded on the mountain when he was
feeling sick from the altitude. Mount Fuji is more than
ten thousand feet high. Rescuers were able to reach him

and safely bring him down the mountain, but then five
days later, rescuers received another emergency call from the same
man who had climbed back up the mountain to retrieve
his phone, which he accidentally left behind on his first climb.
Is this a real story right here? Now?

I understand because of the phone stopped got to go
back and get their phone.

You got to go mountain.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
I don't care how many thousands feet it is. You've
got to go back up there and get this phone.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Yeah, but it's still unclear whether or not he was
able to retrieve his phone. Rescuers carried him down again.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Uh, we're not coming back down Shirley without the phone.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
He was on a stretcher. He was treated for his injuries,
but we don't know if he was able to retrieve it.

Can imagine them rescue with seeing the same person. But
I know they hell to say you, Jack, I just
got you five days. I know you ain't back up yet.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
