with Shirley Strawberry because Shirley was the first person ever
to join this morning show. I had been on the
air three days. They had discovered I knew nothing about radio.
Wasn't doing time checks, radio signal calls, IDs, weather, traffic, nothing.

I was just on there giving it to the people
folk pure hours of stand up that I was taking faxes.
You could fax me, you know when. No, I don't
think it was the email back then.

Yet was it.

Facts? We got factors and that was it. The next
person was calling for real because she became incredibly important
to the show as a music producer, connoisseur, radio and expert.
Then Monica Barnes joined the show because she got two
degrees and we needed somebody from Mississippi. And then I

mentioned Junior because he was the last one to come
on the show. The legend that is you Tommy came
about because he is in the making of becoming a legend.
The legend is a statement that is means to come, nephew, Tommy,

be there. So that was the thinking behind the Junior.
