Speaker 1 (00:01):
All right, This is from anonymous son Steve Harvey FM.
Anonymous says, about six months ago, my sixty year old
dad got remarried to a twenty eight year old woman.
I was visiting my Yeah, yeah, yeah, I was visiting
my dad for the weekend, and I overheard a phone
call this wife was having while dad was out. She

(00:22):
was laughing about how it's not that pathetic and she
only has to stick it out for a couple of
years and she can cash out in the divorce. She
also said some downright rude and disrespectful things about my dad.
I want to pull my dad to the side and
talk to him about it, but I also know it
would break him to know what was being said behind

(00:42):
his back. And there's also a chance that he might
not even believe me, since it was clear that I
wasn't a big fan of my mom and him getting
divorced back in the day in the first place. What
should I do?

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Well, what you should have been But it's too late.
You should have busted hubside. You're gonna say that that's
what you should have did. Should have just rolled up
on it and walked.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Too late for that, Huh yeah, uh.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
It would have been really smart if you could have
recorded it. Yeah, yeah, but you're probably old and didn't
think of that in time, because these kids got it quick.
Oh man, Stepma, Yeah, yeah, it probably is.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah. So she shouldn't tell her dad though, Is that
what you're saying? She shouldn't say anything to her dad
about what she overheard.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
You might not believe that, but I just don't hate dad.
Listen to me, be careful because I overheard her having
a conversation. I know you're not gonna believe me if
I told you what I heard, But Daddy, please be
careful because she right, she's got to wark to your father.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Yeah. Yeah, but is he gonna believe it though?

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Is he?

Speaker 3 (02:09):
You know?

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Is he gonna?

Speaker 3 (02:11):
I mean, but she told him because once he finds out.
I tried to tell you, Daddy, right now, he's enjoying life.
His eyes are rolled in the back of his head.
Every other night, he's he's going through some amazing things. Right.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
No, No, not every other night she's sick, You don't
think so, not every other night?

Speaker 1 (02:29):
He said, how many times, Steve? You think twice? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:36):
A few times a month?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
You know?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Okay, all right, that's okay, But she's got it all
planned out, a couple of years of divorce, shell cash
out in the divorce in a couple of years.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Wow, yeah, you got this plan, the old digger plans. Baby,
that's why you know. You got to make sure somebody
marry for you.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
And how do you do that? Says the.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
A lot of tiss got a lot say no known,
but you got put a lot of test in the beginning.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Okay, okay, in the beginning, Okay, all right, we have
time for another one. This is from Rob on Steve HARVEFM.
Rob says, my wife recently got a new job, and
she really seems to be enjoying it, particularly because her
coworkers are so cool. Yesterday she came home talking about

(03:41):
some new girl that she met there by the name
of Lolita. After a brief description of Lolita, I knew,
without a shadow of a doubt that this was the
same Lolita I kicked it with a couple of months
before I met my wife. It was never anything serious,
but we were really into each other. My wife is
going to suggest to meeting up with some of her

(04:01):
work friends, including Lolita, and it could get a bit awkward.
So do I wait it out? And hope for the best.
Or do I let the situation be known and hope
for the best.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Boy, not open your mouth.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
He can't say anything.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Do not do not open your mouth. Just off a description.
You know it's that Lolita or by shut your mouth?

Speaker 1 (04:33):
All right, all right, you heard it from CLO. All right,
coming up, we'll have more of a Steve Harvey Morning
Show right after this.

Speaker 2 (04:43):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
