Stem you have to tell us this story. Uh, you
were talking about at the mentoring camp. I was Jesus,
we know.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
We was at the men in camp this last year
and the mothers were in town at this facility having
one of their sessions. So I drove from the ranch
down to the church facility and now get in there,
and they've been waiting on me. And I saw him
up and I'm talking to the mothers. Now one of
the mothers or two. I was not sure one or
two of them couldn't hear and talk. They couldn't talk

or I don't talk, or I'm not whatever they were.
They be signed.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
That's deaf. I'm not sure. I don't really, you know,
keep up. So I'm in here talking.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
So the lady up there standing off to the side
is signing. Ain't nobody told me nothing, So I'm talking
and she just over there sonning. So I looked over
there and now they ain't saying and the first thing
she kept on.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
I turned around. I said, excuse me, what is you doing?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
So now instead of talking, wow, she keeps signing it.
So I said, ma'am, I don't know what you're doing,
but sit down because I don't like all that, but
what I'm talking you know, I don't know what you
over there doing all that moving, but just come on
sit down with everybody else.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
So she smiled and kept on signing.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Now I noticed this lady down foot is just standing up.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
So I still ain't did the math on this ship.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
The women in the audience is covering their mouth like
not this fool here. And then I said, hey, look
I don't like all that. Just come on sit down.
So this woman was waving to me with both hands
like Steve, you know, waving.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Like two horns. They're trying to get my attention. I said, see, now,
what is you doing? I said, hi? I said, okay, everybody,
when I.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Came in here, then what is your double hand?

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Hide? For them?

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Ladies in that were hollering laughing, but they had they
hand over their mouth because they was all sitting behind
this lady. And so finally this more lady said, Steve,
look over here at me, and I said, look at you.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
For what she said? She signed it. I said, wait
a minute, let me think something of y'all.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
We sent all the PaperWorks out before you came here.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
All the sign it. You need to be drunk all
that for you come in here, Uncle Tom.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
I said, man, you're gonna sit your So the lady was.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Up there looking at me signing. She laughing.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
So the lady was sitting there and the lady said, Steve, Steve,
look at me.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, I said, look at I'm looking at you.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Now what she said, Steve, That woman is signing because
one of the mother's in here death.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
I said, here who?

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Them women in that orders had their hand over their mouth,
tears coming down and they faith. They said, nah, this fool.
She pointed at that lady down front. I said you death,
and she ain't say nothing, right, So I said, I said,
is you death?

Speaker 1 (03:19):
So the ladies and so then she looked at me
and nod her head.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Because the lady said that to her, I said, well,
do you read lips?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
I said, cause most people won't.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Have trouble with me because you can be cross the
street to pick up what I'm saying. And so he's
sitting here and I said, listen to me. I mean,
I mean, really, what they go. They can't boycott us
right now I'm on the radio, and if they can't hear.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
I'm just saying, I'm just saying.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Comedically speaking, what is the fear of the boycott coming
from them?

Speaker 1 (03:52):
So and he made.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Me think that Jesus and So I'm sitting up in here,
so I said, I said, look at me.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
This is all you need to know.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
I said, this is how I'm gonna show you a
sign if a five breakout.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Then I did the woosh, hush, yeah, if you see
the black people. Then I pointed at my face. Turn.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Then I turned. I said, we got to get the
blank out of here. And then I just started doing
this here there black women. I started doing the running
motion the black women in.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
That room was how man. Emma Smith's wife was there.
