You guys hear about this story.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
A group of twenty eight thrill seekers were left dangling
upside down with a head rush last week. This happened
when an amusement park attraction in Portland, Oregon, malfunction, trapping
the riders for about thirty minutes. Can you imagine being
trapped upside down for thirty nine whoa passengers became stuck

(00:22):
on a swinging pendulum ride called Atmosphere. Okay, I get
the beer park for sure now. According to a statement
from the park, the ride stopped at the apex position
while operating in the three hundred and sixty degree setting,
suspending about twenty eight riders upside down.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
First responders arrived at the park and maintenance crews were
able to return the ride to the ground in order
to unload all twenty eight patrons. Their health was assessed
by Portland Fire and Rescue officials. Okay, that's a good thing,
and no injuries were reported. That's also a good thing.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
So yeah that I love roller coasters, love roller.

Coasters, but that would scare me to people.

Speaker 2 (01:05):

Well, first of all, if I was on that ride,
they wouldn't be to use that ride no more this year.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Why because I didn't. I didn't.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
It's a lot to believe. Yeah, everything is below that ride.
It's gonna take a while to get that cleaned up
because Tommy was up there upside down. It's gonna take
a minute to get get all that concrete clean.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Thirty minutes. That's a lot.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
That's why everybody on this ride. So I don't do
stuff like that. I don't want to do nothing called atmosphere.
I like Puff the Magic Dragon. It's really nice. It's
a nice little key to ride. Don't go fast. It
turned real light and the song played too, So I
like that, Sing long and ride.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
I'm not going on no atmosphere no. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Like we when we go to Disney, what we want
to do. We want to go to Sore and we
want to sit down. Yeah, sit down, watch a movie
and we out.

Speaker 1 (02:08):

On the craziest thing I've done that that scared me happy.
That was up when I was when I was in college.
We went to New Bronze Form and rolled the river,

On the inn tube and you rolled, you rolling man
and my my bitch friend popped out of there, out
of the boat, and we couldn't find him for about
sixty seconds. People that we did not see him for
about sixty seconds, and we looked way down the river
and he was popping. He had popped up on hold
onto a rock man. We got out. We when we
got him, we got out that river and walked the

rest of the way down with the little raft in
our hand. It was that scary. I'll never do that again.
I never ride rapids again.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Yeah, I've learned scary. What about your scarce? Thing I
did was get put over doing the eighty and the sixty.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Boy? I was nervous as hell that office. I said,
I finish get a ticket here. I know.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
I kept both hands with the steering wheel I was
talking about.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
I was nerve bus. That's bout the adventures I want
to get. That's it, junior. Yeah, lights of the registration.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Have you guys ever gotten hurt like like hurt on
something like that.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Yeah, no, no, I ain't been hurt that. I've gotten
lucky like that. Zip lining.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
I'm so every time we go on vacation, my family
think we need to go zip line.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
I can't stand that.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
But you know, once you start zip lining, yeah, you
can't stop.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
You gotta fix through.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
You got to see you through turning back when you
remember when we went and can't scared. I was on
that core and we kept going to each lambing, and
that little girl that was behind me.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Oh, lady go, I said, what little girl, boby, I
don't want to ride behind her.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
That little girl was fearless.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
I was scared to death. I would never ever zipline
ever get in my life. I had never been that scared.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Yeah, yeah, wishall jump out a plane together. Let's go
do that. Let's put that on my buckett. Why would
I do that? When they got planes that day? You
can stay in hopefully stay in a plane. I thought
about that. I thought about one time. Let's go Jack.
