Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, See, before we go, we do want to
again send our prayers and condolences out to the victims'
families and to all of the teachers and the students
in Barrow County, Georgia, following the mass shooting on Wednesday morning.
Details of this tragedy have been released over the past
couple of days, and we are prayerful that students never
(00:20):
ever have to encounter such violence at school again. This
is so sad, so tragic.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yeah, nothing will change.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
I'm sick of I'm sick of doing it. I'm sick
of praying for the families. I'm sick of you because
we could do something about this, right, Yeah, but that
Second Amendment is more to them because it makes money
for the gun people. So they're not going to change
yet anyway. So let's do something helpful. I was thinking
(00:53):
about this yesterday, and I was thinking about what's happening
in our society today, and it affects everyone. So I
want to give everybody a little bit of encouragement. You've
got to be careful with who you give permission to
have a say, soul and power in your life. You
(01:17):
have to be careful with who you give permission to
have a say soul and power in your life, and
oftentimes you allow people who don't even know you to have.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
A say soul.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
You know, this internet thing has gotten so out of control.
People are so affected by by likes and clicks and
dislikes and comments. Cyber Bullying is huge in a child's life. Now.
They kids are committing suicide because they're being cyber bullied,
(01:55):
you know, And we as parents, we got to help
safeguard our children against that. But we are also got
a safeguard ourselves against it too, because y'all listen to me, man,
I face it all the time, and I'm gonna give
you some information that I've learned and might help you too,
because everybody faces it on some level.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
It's not just the famous.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Everybody is affected now by Facebook, ig clicks, posts, stuff
being said about you that's not true, people commenting on
you that don't even know you, and it's causing you
sometimes to feel some kind of way about yourself.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
And the reason it does is because we're human.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Now. As much as I've learned about it, every now
and then I get bothered by it, you know, because
I'm human now, even though I've crossed that line of
I could give less dinner a long time ago, and
I really don't let.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
It move me to any form of all.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Depression, or it don't get me them make me pause,
or it don't slow my assent, it don't stop my client.
I'm gonna give you something. Stop allowing people to affect
you that ain't even in your life, y'all. Come on,
do you understand that the Internet has become the devil's playground?
(03:22):
The devil have imps that are busy twenty four to seven,
twenty four seven. It's people who wake up to troll.
There are people who have made it their mission and
job in life to go down the Internet and make
negative comments about everything. You can't post a picture of
a baby no more without somebody saying something negative about
(03:43):
the baby. You can't post your child's graduation without somebody
saying something about why they sitting up in?
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Why she got that on, why they got the girl graduated?
How about that?
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Yo? So you know, listen, y'all, you have to be
aware of what's happening out here. Part of the devil's
mission is to rob you of your destiny, and one
of the tricks that he uses to rob you of
your destiny is to distract. You be mindful of the distractions.
If you are on a mission, If you are on
assignment from God, no matter how minimal that assignment may be,
(04:21):
you have to understand that opposition is going to present itself.
See the reason I don't stop when I'm doing this
because I'm on assignment. God has me on a mission.
My career is what I'm paid for. My calling is
what I'm made for. God has designed me for a
specific purpose. God has designed you for a specific purpose.
(04:42):
Now you don't have to be famous to have a purpose.
The most meaningful purposes in life are fulfilled by people
who are not the famous ones. If you are at
school teacher and you are educating people, that's your purpose.
That's your mission. If you are a caregiver of people,
that's your purpose. That's your mission. If you're doing a
good job as a parent, that's your purpose. That's your mission.
(05:03):
If all of your friends come to you for your counseling,
that's your purpose. That's your mission. If you are in
the business of visiting the sick and shut in at
the hospital, that's your mission. If you work in the church,
that's your mission. Your purpose know your purpose, man, and
stay the course. Stop allowing people to throw you off
(05:24):
your mission. And as long as you are on mission
and assignment for God, you are going to have opposition.
I am prepared for opposition. Bring it, come with it.
But you're not gonna stop nothing. Somebody told me the
other day. I was overseas. I was in Africa working
and somebody told me, mister Steve, please be careful. You
(05:46):
have to beware of black Twitter. They will destroy you.
I said, no, no, no, no, don't ever say that
to me again. I was born before Twitter even came about.
I was on Earth, created by mine heavenly Father, before
Twitter came about. I've been on this assignment since nineteen
fifty seven. I've been on this journey since nineteen fifty seven.
(06:16):
Twitter can't break me because Twitter didn't make me. As
nobody can stop what God has for you. What I
suggest you do, get in touch with your God, learn
your mission in life, find out your purpose, and then
watch God protect you. Because if God got your on assignment,
it ain't nothing nobody can do about it.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Nobody. All right, y'all, have a great day. Talk to God.
He loved you. Hear film.
