them to keep me. I didn't feel like arguing with
the doctors. I don't want to see if they were
gonna I didn't know. I knew it was gonna happen.
That's the real thing for me. I got to figure
out if the doctor I'm gonna geting this emergency was
gonna really believe my pain or he gonna tell me
now we're gonna we're gonna give you this. I had
to really make my mind up. Like my wife said,

(00:37):
you need to just go, just go. I'm gonna advocate
for you. And I want to thank my wife for
the support she gave me, because she did. She advocated,
and thank god I had a black doctor who believed.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Hey, dog, when you say advocate, what you mean by that?

Speaker 2 (00:49):
You it means if I say, like, my pains are
ten uncle, and the doctor says, no, your pains are
two I'm looking at her, you know that exactly. So
I got to come vince him that my paint, my
pain is a ten, and he telling me it's a two.
Right now, we go back and forth and now here's now.
I got to fiure, well, I need another doctor. Then

(01:10):
he said, well, I'm gonna go with the first doctor's opinion.
And they white doctor. But I had a black doctor.
Thank god, I had a black doctor who understood sickle
selling knew what exactly what was happening, and so because.

Speaker 1 (01:21):

just in here for some delighted I'm in here for
some for some morphine. Like I'm gonna leave to Steve
Hardy Morrish every morning, come in here and just hey,

that at the house. I'm just gonna go.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
You know what, are you just gonna be refrigerated? Just
sit in a cold, dark place right right like right
next to the ketchup. Don't touch it there. It is
real and we believe you. And yeah, so happy you're back.
