We got it for you here. It is a Strawberry Letter.
Thank you, nephew. Subject I can't imagine him with big Mama.
Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a forty five year old single
mother of five sons. My two youngest sons to live
with my mother because they went to spend the night
with her one time and she never let them return
to my house. I can't fight for them because she

(00:47):
says I'm not fit to be their mother. This feud
started about three years ago when my mama thought she
had a boyfriend. The guy didn't want her. He was
just using her for money and transportation. He's twelve years younger,
so she thought she was doing something big. Naturally, he
came on to me because I'm my mother's twin in

(01:07):
every way except wait. My oldest children started calling her
Big Mama when they were young, and now she's lived
up to that name. She is big and tall with
hazel eyes. She was every man's dream back in the day,
and she can't deal with the fact that I'm pulling
up the rear and getting all of the attention now.
I didn't purposely take her man away from her. It

(01:30):
happened gradually. She asked me to spend the night with
her one night so I could take her to an
eye appointment early the next morning. While she slept, her
boyfriend chased me all over the house, trying to pull
off my nightgown. When he finally caught me, I played
like I was resisting him, but our chemistry was too
strong to fight it. We snuck around for two months

(01:53):
before he finally told Mama what was going on. My
older children have adjusted to him being with me and
not Big Mama anymore. My oldest son told me that
he can't imagine my boyfriend what's ever with Big Mama.
I can't either, because he is a superstar lover, and
I'm surprised she could keep up with him. I'm tired

(02:13):
of fighting with Big Mama, So how do I stop her?
How do I get her to stop playing games and
give me my children back? I don't understand how you
can't get your children. They're your children. How can you
not get your children back from your mom? And? Anyway?
There's a lot left out in this letter, but there
are two different problems going on here. They're both major. First,

(02:36):
your mom has two of your five children you say
you can't get back. And secondly, you slept with your
mom's man. Okay, what kind of person are you? Why
are you in competition with your own mother over a man?
When you make statements like we're alike in every way
except wait, or when you say now you're pulling up

(02:57):
the rear and getting all of the attention, let's make
you sound like you're jealous of your mom. With all
the other men out here, why do you have to
take your mom's man. The sad part is you don't
even get it. I mean, just because he was chasing
you around the room doesn't mean you had to let
him catch you. You already said that. You know you
tried to resist him at first, but the chemistry was

(03:17):
too strong. And all of that you had to prove
to your mom that you could get him. Was that
what you were doing? You're the cute one. Now what
are you doing? I mean, you have no remorts. You
don't even see why your mom is retaliating by calling
you unfit and trying to keep your two boys. There
must be something to it, or you would have your boys.

(03:39):
I really don't understand why you can't get them that
you claim you want. You know, you claim you want
the boys. Your mom is not the one playing games
here I think you are. You need to grow up.
You need to stop worrying about your mom and her
looks and all of that, and worry about how you
are going to be a better person, how you're going
to be a better daughter, and how you're gonna be

(04:01):
a better mom and get your kids back if that's
what you really want, Steve, Well, this letter ain't gonna
take long because it ain't about nothing. This letter ain't
about light of down. I don't even know how you right?
You really? What, lady? How? What forty five year old
single mother with five sons? You're five, You got five

(04:23):
sons and you're a single mother. Your two younger sisters
lived with my mother because they want to spend the
night with her one time, and she never let them
return to my house. I can't fight for them because
she says I'm not fit to be their mother. What
kind of statement is that? How hard are you really

(04:46):
fighting to try to get these kids back? How how
is it that a mother can't get her kids back?
The coach didn't tell you you wasn't fit. Social services
didn't tell me, tell you wasn't thick. Child Protective Services
didn't tell you that they went over that one night
and she never sent them back. Oh, I know what's

(05:08):
happening now. You say this feud started about three years
ago when my mama I thought she had a boardfriend.
But we're gonna find out how long she gonna be
thinking that the guy didn't want her. He was just
using her for money and transportation. Twelve years younger, So
she thought she was doing something big. Naturally. He came

(05:32):
on to me because I'm my mother's twin in every
way except wait, wait a minute, I don't understand that.
So your mother thought she was doing something big. Naturally,
he came on to me because I'm my mother's twin
in every way except wait, what do you mean, naturally
he came on to you Christ but years that's what

(05:55):
you thought it was supposed to have. Why because you
find it your mama, Well, because you don't weigh as
much as your mama sound to me like, and I'm
gonna say this earlier. I was gonna save it to
the end. This is a competition, yeah, right, And the

(06:16):
competition started with you. You girl, You the forty five
year old with the five kids and can't get nobody.
That's what the problem was. Then your mama got somebody,
and now you're talking about she thinks she got a
board friend. Well, wait till he see me, because we're

(06:37):
twins in every way except hang on, Steve, hang on.
We'll come back prepared two of your response at twenty
three minutes after be our today's Strawberry Letters, subject I
can't imagine him with big Mama. We'll get back into
it right after this. You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve,

(06:57):
let's recap today's crazy Strawberry letter and the subject I
can't imagine him with big Mama. I know you couldn't.
That's the whole problem. Here's a woman that's forty five
years old, she's a single mother. She got five sons,
my two youngest sons to live with my mother because
they went to spend the night with her one time

(07:18):
and she never let them return to my house. Didn't.
Lady said, I can't fight for them because she says
I'm not fit to beat their mother. What Social services
didn't tell you this? Child Protective Services didn't tell you that.
The Resource department didn't tell you this. People to cut

(07:38):
checks ain't told you this. Your mama told you this,
and she kept the kids. Then she starts trying to
tell the story. The feud started about three years ago
when my mama thought she had a boyfriend. The guy
didn't want her. He was just using her for money
in transportation. He twelve years younger, so she thought she

(07:59):
was doing something. Then right out of nowhere, naturally he
came on to me. Because I'm my mother's twinned in
every way except to wait. My oldest children started calling
her Big Mama when they were young, and now she's
lived up to the name. Well you next, you know,
since you like your mom in every way, just want
you to know the weight coming your way too. It

(08:21):
usually comes as we age, so get ready we are.
I'm just like my mother. I'm my mama's twin without
the weight. Oh it's coming, yeah a day now, slow down.
She is big and tall with hazel eyes. She was
every man's dream back in the day. And she can't
deal with the fact that I'm pulling up the rear

(08:43):
and getting all the attention. Now, little girl, lady, what's
wrong with you? What do you mean? She can't deal
with the fact that you're pulling up the rear and
getting all the attention now. Oh, because your mama's sold.
That's right, that's right you. Your mama's in in every
way all. So you every man's dream. Yeah you the

(09:05):
five sons, baby Daddy dream too. Yeah you they't dream
sept there a so so far right now you can't
get one of them stage. But you every man's dream.
You're pulling up the red nine. She can't stand I
didn't purposely did Here comes the next statement out of nowhere.
I didn't purposely take her man away from her. It

(09:27):
happened gradually. Girl. You're a mess. You're an absolute mess.
I don't know if you read this letter before you
sent it, but if you read it, you would see
this really ain't shining a favorable light on you at all.
I don't know what you thought by writing in Charley
and I were supposed to say to She asked me

(09:49):
to spend the night with her one night so I
could take her to an eye appointment earlier the next morning. Okay,
while she slept, her boyfriend chased me all over the house,
trying to pull off my nightgown. Now, we all hadn't

(10:10):
been to big Mama house. We all hadn't been back
over to our mom and daddy house. Most our houses
bigger than the house we grew up in. So how
big was old Big Mama house? So all is chasing
you around? How far was it when y'all running from
the kitchen table to the stove warms you running from

(10:32):
the TV worms you running around the coffee table in
front of the count Big MoMA ain't got no big house.
This wasn't no long chase, y'all. This one the log
We was up down them steps, I headed, I was in,
I was down in the game room, and then I
went around through the family room. Then I ran up
back down by my golf simulator. Then I came back

(10:52):
up through where we got the bowl in that lad
he was just chasing me, really really, Later, lady ladies,
our father was he chasing, trying to take your night
down off here here got another crazy statement. When he
finally caught me, I played like I was resisting here,

(11:16):
but our chemistry was too strong to fighting. We snuck
around for two months before he finally told Big Mama
what was going on. Big Mama is your mother, So
he just went on the toe of hey, look, I'm
gonna just keep I'm with yourself, and your older children
have adjusted to him being with me and not Big

(11:38):
Mama anymore. My oldest son told me that he can't
imagine my boyfriend was ever with Big Mama, and I
can't either, because he is a superstar lover and I'm
surprised she could keep up with it. I'm tired of
fighting with Big Mama, So how do I get her
to stop playing games and give me my children back?

(11:58):
See what did happened here? You took her, man, She
took your kids because she told this letter out of order, y'all.
She told you that two kids went over that spend
the night, and she kept her saying, but then she
said the huge started three years ago. So after she

(12:18):
took her man. The two kids went over that one
night and she kept them. Ah, that's what happened. So
you took my man, I took your kids, and you
ain't fit to be a mother. And you don't want
me to tell everybody what you really did, and that's
why she can't get her kids back. Post your comments
