Y'all know what y'all don't know y'all at all at all,
So don't given them.

The bus bush Yeah listening to.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
I want to Joy?
Speaker 4 (00:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Joy? You know you love?
Speaker 5 (01:06):
You gotta turn.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
I can't.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
To turn the mouth turn.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
You probably got to turn the mouth turn a word
of the monopold.
Speaker 6 (01:55):
Come come on, you're thinking, uh huh, I sure will.
Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on,
dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
radio show. Man, What an amazing blessing. God has given
(02:16):
me my health, my dreams, all of it. God gave
it to me. I accept it. I work hard, but man,
oh man, oh man, I work hard. It's something that
He gave me a gift. And that's what I want
to talk to you about today. Because God has gifted everyone,
(02:37):
so I can't help but believe it. You are gifted
in some way. Something about you is special and unique.
That doesn't mean you're the only one that can sing?
Are you the only one that can write? Are you
the only one that can draw, You the only one
that can decorate? Or you the only one that can network?
Or you're the only one that does not what it means.
(02:57):
Or you have a great scientific mind, or you can
figure things out, or you're good and problem solving. You're
not the only one, but you are a unique individual.
Nobody will travel the exact path that you on. Nobody
will have everything happen in a series of circumstances in
the order that you're going to have it happen to you.
That's what I mean when I say that you are unique.
(03:19):
But now because you are gifted, you know you have
something you have to do. You know, there's a scripture.
It's in Proverbs, Proverbs eighteen and sixteen. I've been trying
to be a little bit better at that for you,
you know. So when I have an idea and I
know where it is, I have somebody look the scripture
up from men handed to me. So it's in Proverbs
(03:39):
eighteen sixteen. And this is the layman's term of it.
It says a man's gift make room for him and
brings him before great men. It is your gift that
will make room for you. Now my interpretation of this
is this. Now I could be wrong. Please go to
your local church center, God, temple, mosque you do and
(04:01):
go get clarification. But what my gift has done in
making room for me is I've taken it almost in
the literal sense. My gift has actually made room for me.
It has clear paths for me. My gift has opened
up doors for me. That's what I take it as.
It'll make room for you. My gift has has broadened
(04:21):
my ability to travel. My gift has opened my eyes
to fashion. My gift has caused me to be able
to provide for my family. My gift has caused me
to be able to reach more people. That's what I'm
saying in terms of it will make room for you.
That it may be another interpretation. I'm just telling you
(04:43):
how I took it, that it has worked out pretty
good for me to that understanding. But I'm pretty sure
Bishop Jakes, Joel Oldstein, kennef Ohm, you know, God, Glenn Staples,
Bishop Glenn's Table. These guys give you much better understanding
of it. And I'm just giving it to you, you
know where I know how sold. I just like to
keep it right there. But and then it says that
(05:04):
it brings you before great men. I mean, you know
it's gonna take your places. It's gonna take your places
you never thought of going. You're gonna meet people because
of your gift. I told my son, who two of
them are good photographers. You'll be taking pictures of great men,
and then I mess with them. You're already taking pictures,
say your daddy. You know I'm messing with them like that.
(05:24):
But that's just me and them, just kicking it. But
you know, but one day, who knows, you could be
shooting the president. You know, you could be shooting some
foreign dignitaries. You know, you could be shooting great sport events.
You know, you never know where it could take you.
But that's your gift. What you gotta do is you
gotta get to move and though. See, you can't have
your gift and not do nothing with it. See you
(05:44):
know what that reminds me of. It's something that been
My father used to say, get up off your butt
because you're sitting on a gold mine. He say that
all the time. Boy, get up off your butt and
move it, because you sitting on a gold I never
really quite got that when I was little, but now
that I'm an adult, I got it full well. See
(06:05):
a lot of you are sitting You're sitting on a
talent or a gift that you have. You're sitting on
an ability. I don't care if it's making cakes or pies.
That's a gift, man, that's a talent. I don't care
if it's the ability to do hell, that's a gift.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Man.
Speaker 6 (06:20):
Half of you are gifted. A lot of us are gifted,
and we're sitting on it, looking at other people, wondering
what can I do to make it? You already got
something to make it with. If you would just get
up off your behind, man, quit sitting on that gold mine.
Some of you are tech savvy, just a whiz is
when it comes to engineering and putting stuff together and
(06:42):
cables and wires and computers and stuff. And now you
steady looking around trying to figure out, Man, wonder what
I can go do? How about you go do that?
You know it ain't that hard, man, If you would
just take note of what God has given you already.
He has given you a gift already. He has already
given you a talent. Now the fact that you ain't
(07:04):
using it and you sitting on your tail somewhere, now,
who fathers what we're talking about? What you blaming God
for that?
Speaker 7 (07:14):
Man?
Speaker 6 (07:15):
I tell you what I sit around people all the
time who are gifted, and I'm looking at their gifts,
and they steady complaining about what they don't have, but
will not get up off there behind and use the
gifts that God gave them. And it's frustrating. It's gotta
be frustrating for you if you're doing it, because it's
(07:36):
frustrating for me when I see it. So when these
people come to me and ask me for help, I
just keep going the same thing over and over. Help yourself, man,
do for you, use your gift. It's a cat sitting
behind the wall right now that's locked up. That's so
good at artistry. It's cats in that tattooing everybody. Man,
get out, do it the right way. Quit selling drugs. Man,
(07:59):
you ain't going no selling no drugs. You going to jail.
And if that don't do it, somebody gonna get tired
of you selling drugs cause they're gonna want to sell
them over and they gonna kill you. Let's just keep
this thing real for just a second. Here, Come on, man,
get up off your butt, because you sitting on the
gold mine, and you sit up here. Somebody always looking
for a shortcut to the top. Ain't no shortcut. Somebody
told me this the other day. Man, the road to
(08:21):
success is always under construction. It ain't paved, it's got
detoured signs on it. It's got slow men working. Sometime
they flip the stop sign. You gotta sit there and wait.
Sometime they got slow. There's traffic, there's accidents. Somebody on
the road holding up things with a flat tie, its nails,
(08:44):
its gravels. This spike is everything. The road to success
is always under construction. It ain't getting ready to be
easy just because you done decided to do it. But
don't sit around on your behind and complain all the
time about what you don't have. My daddy said it, Man,
get up off your butt because you sitting on the
gold mine. You got a gift, you got a talent,
(09:06):
You got something that you can do that could make
a way for you, but you won't do it. It
is within you. Stop looking around. Here's where people waste
the most time on the road to success, looking around
at somebody else trying to figure out, Man, how can
I do what they did? Do what you do? You
(09:26):
ain't jay Z, You ain't sorry. I got a couple
of your homies told you you rap better than him,
but you not, jay Z, really you not. You know,
all of us can shot at him, but we ain't
rich at prior. A nice shot Steve, Bernie DL, all
of we took some great shots at it, we not him.
(09:47):
Do what you can do. Do you do your gift
quick complaining about what you don't have. Get up off
your butt because you sitting on a gold mine. You're listening,
ladies and gentlemen. You know what is here again? Let
me clear my thoat. It's here again. Another day, another
(10:11):
opportunity to another blessing, another gift from God. Man, that's awesome, y'all.
Really is glad to be here again. Man, not looking
towards the day when I'm not here, just really not
looking towards that. I'm really really still exciting. Just so
he understands. I keep letting him know how excited I
(10:31):
am to wake up because I don't want him to
take on board with it or nothing like that. And
then just go, okay, well he don't want to do
it no more, No I do. I don't want to
do it. Every day, however, you wake me up is
good like today, this is good. You know, got a
couple of issues going on, but it's good. I can
handle them because all things are possible. All things are possible. Yeah,
(10:55):
Christ who strengthens me, That's a fact. Ladies and gentlemen,
Steve Harv Morty Show, Show, Strawberry Calling for Real, Mississippi,
Monica Junior and the Legend of Nephew Tommy Junior. What's
on your mind? Man?
Speaker 8 (11:07):
And let me ask you something, k Man? What do
you say would be the keys to being great? What
makes you so great in what you're doing? What is
your habits? What do you do when you think about
being great?
Speaker 6 (11:18):
Well, first is humility. Most people that's great, don't think
they great. You got to get that out of your
head because then you walk around. See if you think
you great, then you're gonna start acting like you're great,
and you're gonna feel in a lot of people. So
I think humility is one of them. But I think
discipline and hard work the three components is discipline, hard work,
(11:43):
and faith. Those three are a must if you are
planning to become great at anything. Discipline, hard work, and faith.
Discipline is doing what you have to do even when
you don't want to do it. Hard work is never relenting,
ever full court press. And faith is the belief in
(12:04):
things that you cannot see. Even though it looks like
the hard work ain't paying off, even though it look
like you're not making headway, you got to keep the faith. Man.
Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.
And so once you apply them three things right there,
greatness is yours. It's coming now great. You know, you
(12:25):
also got to define great. You know, great don't mean
you acknowledged all around the world. You could be great
right in your circle. Greatness is achievable in your circle. Now,
how big your circle is, It just depends on what
your lifestyle is, you know what I mean. If you
work down at Pepsi or Coca Cola and that's your world,
(12:49):
you go to work every day, you could be great
down there. You know. If you work at the post office,
you could be great down there. And now if you
expand your territory, you ask God to expand your territory
and you can be great there too. You just got
to It depends on where you're at, man, what you
want and what you're willing to do. The good news
(13:10):
is you could do anything. The tough news is most
people are not willing to do the things that's necessary
to do everything. So what a lot of people do
is they adjust, they aim according to the effort required.
That's the sad existence. I hate when people do that
to themselves. But just a little more more effort could
(13:31):
get you a further way for most people once they
see what the requirement is, I ain't finna do all that.
Speaker 9 (13:37):
All right, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
we will hear from the nephews. He runs that prank
back right after this. You're listening hard morning show. It
is time now for the nephew and the brank phone
call for today. What you got for his nef?
Speaker 7 (13:54):
Surely this is it.
Speaker 10 (13:55):
I want my money back. I want my money back.
I'm tired of coming to church. Okay, okay, let's just
say I don't go every Sunday, but when I do go,
I hate to get there and past that ain't there,
you know, And I get a memo I don't want
to get in there, and then past ain't preaching.
Speaker 7 (14:12):
There's system pastor preaching.
Speaker 6 (14:15):
He don't really preach.
Speaker 10 (14:16):
I want my money back. I want my ties back.
Send that plate back round here. That's what I want.
I want my money back, cat.
Speaker 11 (14:22):
Dog, if you would hello, I need to speak to
sister Poliction.
Speaker 12 (14:27):
Okay, who is this?
Speaker 11 (14:28):
That's right? Here? Is Glen? All right? This is Glenn.
I need this is brother Glen. Can I speak to
Suitster POLICI? But I have some please?
Speaker 12 (14:34):
Okay, sir? How did you get my number?
Speaker 11 (14:37):
I got your number from one of the deacons at
the church.
Speaker 12 (14:39):
Okay, what deacon was that?
Speaker 11 (14:41):
I don't even know the deacon name. I'm not listen
when I'm trying to ask you. I'm trying to ask you.
Can you reimburse me for some money that I put
in church on Sunday?
Speaker 12 (14:49):
Okay? Well, can you just calm down just a little place, sir?
Speaker 11 (14:52):
I'm look. Are you the financial person at the church?
Speaker 8 (14:55):
Yes?
Speaker 12 (14:55):
I am. So what can I do for you?
Speaker 11 (14:57):
I'm trying to get my money back that I put
in church on Sunday. I put one hundred dollars in
church on Sunday and I'm trying to get my one
hundred dollars back.
Speaker 12 (15:05):
Okay, what did you not get from your heart?
Speaker 11 (15:07):
I gave from my heart what I thought was gonna happen,
but it didn't happen.
Speaker 12 (15:11):
Okay, help me, help you what you mean, did what
didn't happen? What didn't happen?
Speaker 13 (15:16):
Sir?
Speaker 11 (15:16):
Okay, Pastor wasn't there. Pastor was not there on Sunday,
and y'all had this guest minister come in who I
ain't like him at all. But the dog on the
offering was before he even got up to preach, so
I didn't already gain my offer, which was one hundred dollars,
And then I didn't even know Pastor wasn't Now you
(15:38):
know what I'm saying. So here I am giving one
hundred dollars. I'm thinking, I know I'm gonna get the
word when Pastor there. But y'all put this dude up.
He coming from Don't nobody come from the book of
Ruth no more? He was at Ruth Leviticus. He was
all over the place. I want to get my one
hundred dollars back. I ain't giving to that.
Speaker 12 (15:56):
Did you not read the bulletin? I mean, how often
do you even come to church?
Speaker 11 (15:59):
I come to church often. I mean what does got
to do with anytime? Well, if you were come.
Speaker 12 (16:04):
A little often and read the bulletins, or you would
have known that Pastor took a vacation.
Speaker 11 (16:08):
He took a vacation, so everybody knew he wasn't gonna
be there.
Speaker 12 (16:13):
Yes, sir, the regulars, the people that come regularly to church,
they know that, sir.
Speaker 11 (16:16):
Okay, well, I ain't know that. So I need I
need to get I need to get my money back.
Speaker 12 (16:20):
Okay. What I need you to do, though, is calm down.
Speaker 11 (16:23):
I'm come. I'm just trying to say I want to
get my one hundred dollars. I'm not giving that samon
I got on Sunday. I'm not giving one hundred dollars
for that.
Speaker 12 (16:31):
Well, Sir, I cannot give you one hundred dollars back.
Speaker 14 (16:33):
Okay.
Speaker 12 (16:34):
We don't do no refund checks. I can't do that. Okay.
I have to wait your pastor to get back in
because two people have to sign a check. I can't
even do that for you, sir. Matter of fact, I'm
not even at work right now.
Speaker 11 (16:43):
Okay. So am I gonna get my one hundred dollars back?
Speaker 12 (16:46):
Okay, sir? Why don't you just call the church on
tomorrow and then we can go from there.
Speaker 11 (16:50):
Okay, I'm not calling. I'm not calling the church tomorrow.
I tell you what, you know what? You know what
I'm gonna do. I'm gonna come up there tomorrow and
you're gonna give me my one hundred dollars, either it
send a check or is it cash? But you Smiths
or Sister Forelicia Patterson, you're gonna give me my damn money?
Did you say? What?
Speaker 12 (17:08):
Did you just cuss me?
Speaker 11 (17:10):
I just told you that come tomorrow, I'm coming up
there to get my damn hundred dollars. Whether it's in
a check or whether it's in cash, I don't care.
Speaker 15 (17:18):
What is he Let me call you something, sir. You
ain't getting nothing from us that you call here and
cuss me asking for some money. Bab you got now
you're giving your money from your heart. It doesn't not
a hoof there preaching the word of God. You give
because you love God. You ever thought to me like
y'all strip you naked, Jim and then you know what
You better be glad this ain't twenty years ago, because
(17:39):
I'll have cussed you from a causey but nobody he's
saying me because you know how you're gonna cushing. But
I tell you what I will do, young man. Want

gonna give you no right for the fellowship.
Speaker 12 (17:57):
Do you hear me?
Speaker 14 (17:58):

you treat God's people?
Speaker 12 (18:01):
You have been talking to me ignotience.
Speaker 4 (18:02):

Speaker 15 (18:03):

Speaker 15 (18:06):
You just start cussing, hollering at me.
Speaker 12 (18:08):
You don't talk to people like that. You don't even
sound like a Christian.
Speaker 14 (18:11):
You don't do that.
Speaker 12 (18:12):
Don't you hear me?
Speaker 4 (18:13):
Right now?
Speaker 11 (18:14):

not because you not?
Speaker 6 (18:19):
You don't call.
Speaker 12 (18:20):
You're hollering at me.
Speaker 13 (18:21):
Don't you have me?
Speaker 11 (18:23):
Can I hear you call?
Speaker 12 (18:25):
You're cussing at me?
Speaker 14 (18:27):
Oh Lord help me?
Speaker 11 (18:29):
Can I sister police? Can I say? I mean? I

Speaker 15 (19:30):

Speaker 15 (20:13):
Oh thank the.
Speaker 14 (20:14):

Speaker 11 (20:16):
Oh bro, Lord my legs.
Speaker 14 (20:18):

Speaker 12 (20:18):
Hula hoo.
Speaker 11 (20:20):
Lord something since the polician. I gotta ask you, what
is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show
in the land.
Speaker 15 (20:29):
Oh, I must say, the Speed Harvey Morning Show?
Speaker 4 (20:36):
What you got me? You got me?
Speaker 12 (20:39):
You got me.
Speaker 7 (20:44):
I ain't the only one ever wanted that plate to
come back around. I ain't.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
I'm not the only one.
Speaker 10 (20:50):
Get my twenty dollars back out of there. He's been
passed the one here man plea.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
All right, nephew, thank you. Coming up next, it is
asked the celo.
Speaker 9 (21:00):
You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the
top of the hour, we will be joined by the
Chair of the Democratic National Committee, Jamie Harrison. The election
is thirteen days away. We will be just going to
continue to enlighten you on what's at stake in this
year's election. Okay, thirteen days away, that's coming up at
(21:23):
the top of the hour. But right now it is
time to ask the Clo our chief love officer Steve
Harvey in the building and Steve. This one's from Jasper
in Kingwood Colo. Jasper says, I drink and party when
I'm off work and my son isn't at my house.
My lady says she doesn't want me drinking around her son.
(21:44):
I told her to stop bringing him to my house.
Then it's common sense to me. Why does she get
so offended by that?
Speaker 6 (21:52):
Well, Jasper, could it be, Jasper that she's just trying
to get you to slow down a little bit, practice
some type of restraint, because when you're not working, you
drinking and partying a lot of times when you ain't working, though,
(22:15):
So I'm just you. It could be the woman just
trying to find a way to motivate you to look
at it, you know, and that's that's all it is.
She's just trying to help you, man, because she looks
like that instead of saying you, hey, do you have
a problem on hey, looks like you could be having
a problem. She's saying, hey, let's just put some rules
(22:36):
in place. But then you don't want the rules because
you already got the problem.
Speaker 9 (22:40):
Yeah, was he drunk when he said we'll stop bringing
your son to my house.
Speaker 6 (22:44):
Then yeah, yeah, he had already been drinking. Yeah, because
that's a statement you make when you already have alcohol
in your system. Hands in your hand.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
Right, all right?
Speaker 9 (22:58):
Moving on to Missy in Baltimore, Missy writes, I've been
with my boyfriend for almost seven years, and he has
been in college the whole time. He loves to take
his time with everything he does, even in the bedroom.
That's why I'm still with him. Can I rush him
to propose or keep being patient?
Speaker 6 (23:18):
You just said he'd take his time doing everything everything
seven years in college, take his time in the bedroom.
That's why you're still with him. Yeah, but see, have
you thought about this? Okay, let me ask you a question.
Is he gonna take his plan take his time with
his plan for the future too, Because that's what you're
(23:38):
trying to be in his future? So is he gonna
take his time with that too? Now, let me ask
you something. Now, sometimes you can get the too confused. Now,
taking your time and procrastination can look like the same
thing sometimes.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
Okay, Okay, taking your.
Speaker 6 (23:58):
Time in the bedroom is different from taking your time

had a rough two months. I got fired and I
started peeing in the bed. My wife said it might
be depression, and I thought she was trying to help.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
But lately she's been teasing me about it. How can
she be so evil to me in my time of weakness?
Speaker 6 (24:57):
Dog? How much stress you under that?
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Apparently?
Speaker 7 (25:02):
Dog?
Speaker 6 (25:02):

(25:24):

I don't know, bro, Bro.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
I don't think we should be laughing at this.
Speaker 6 (25:35):
Now that's a condition. Are you peeing in the bed.
That's not a condition, that's a weakness. Dog, Dog, I've
had a rough two months. I lost my job and
now the dog. Come on, man, I ain't got nothing
(26:01):
for you, dog, you had a rough two months. Well,
let me tell you something I can if I can
tell you soon that lonely.
Speaker 7 (26:13):
His wife is still in there sleeping with me.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
I know.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
So should he go to the doctor or something of me?
Speaker 6 (26:18):
Yes, you gotta quit peeing in the bed. What's she
talking about? The doctor?
Speaker 2 (26:24):
And get an eight year old and.
Speaker 6 (26:25):
Quit peeing in the bed.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
What is it?
Speaker 6 (26:26):
You ain't gotta take your eight year old to the doctor?
Party training? No, you gott party up there peeing on yourself.
There ain't no medical condition. Your grown ass is laid
up there. No, it ain't you in so much damn depression?
You laying up there now, I don't even feel like
going to the bathroom. No, man, hell, now that ain't
(26:51):
what that is. Shouldn't have called me, dog, I don't
feel sorry for you. Why she making fun of you?
Why is she still with you?
Speaker 7 (27:00):
So he can't take no bad news? If he takes
bad news?
Speaker 6 (27:03):
What happened on sir? Uh? Did he leave a name
on the letter.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
Oh yeah, his name is Charles.
Speaker 6 (27:16):
Charles is coming to my office. Please, yes, sir, Charles.
I hate to break it to you, but there's some
playoffs and we've just handed you a pink slip and
Charles Child, what are you doing? My god, Charles in
(27:43):

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Warm as warm as warm as Charles, Charles.
Speaker 6 (27:58):
Listen, We've been going through the p episode for you know,
and I just can't take it no more a year.
I'm asking for a divorce.
Speaker 9 (28:09):
Okay, wait a minute now, Charles.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Is he at the bathroom of.
Speaker 6 (28:27):
DoD Yeah, yeah, yeah, he using the bathroom now to
come out everything else. He was just being on hisself

Speaker 2 (28:55):
He needs to see it immediate.
Speaker 6 (29:00):
You too old for that.
Speaker 10 (29:02):
Wow, I don't know what the pens can hold that?
Speaker 7 (29:05):
All right?
Speaker 2 (29:06):
Disorders?
Speaker 9 (29:08):
Huh yeah, thank you clo for nothing.
Speaker 6 (29:14):
Ain't no stress, disorder, get your ass to that bathroom.
Speaker 9 (29:18):
Coming up, we're going to talk to Democratic National Committee
Chair Jamie Harrison.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Right after this.
Speaker 9 (29:24):
You're listening Morning Show everybody.
Speaker 6 (29:30):
As promised, we have a special guest this morning. We
are thirteen days away now, thirteen from one of the
most important elections in our history. We've had some important ones,
but this one right here, this you have got to
understand what is at stake in this year's election. So
(29:51):
we've invited a friend of the show to join us.
He's been on before. He's the chair of the Democratic
National Committee and this week he's campaigning the state to
state for the VP Koma Harris on the DNCS We vote,
we Win bus tour. Please welcome back to the DNC
chair my buddy, mister Jamie Harrison.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Welcome, Welcome, welcome, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 7 (30:14):
Man.
Speaker 14 (30:14):
I appreciate it.
Speaker 6 (30:16):
Man. We got to get it and we were close, brother,
were close. Let me ask you, what's the feeling your
own campaign. You're you're riding with the VP h every day.
What's the general feeling around the campaign?
Speaker 13 (30:33):
Well, you know, people are excited, but they also feel
that it's tight. That this is a tight election, probably
the closest election that we've we've seen in at least
in my lifetime. But we feel that we can win us.
We have all of the infrastructure, all of the basic
necessities that you need to win us.
Speaker 14 (30:53):
We got the best candidates.
Speaker 13 (30:55):
Our candidate is bringing hope and joy. I told the
reporter of the other day Steep, it's like watching Michael
Jordan in the NBA Finals. You give her the ball,
she's gonna score. But we got to make sure we
give her the ball and she has.
Speaker 14 (31:09):
To have, you know, the right support.
Speaker 13 (31:12):
Casts around her to do the things that are necessary
for us to win this ring. And that's where this
ground operation is important. That's where people in our community
knocking on doors, making phone calls, sending text messages, getting
people's butts in these cars and taking them to vote
and vote early.
Speaker 14 (31:30):
That is where that comes at.
Speaker 13 (31:32):
Kamla Harrison is doing everything she needs to do. She's
going on farm, she drug Brett Bair around like weeksg garbage.
Speaker 14 (31:41):
She's doing everything that is necessary to do.
Speaker 11 (31:45):
But we need to do.
Speaker 13 (31:46):
Our part to help her and have her back to
get her over the finish line.
Speaker 6 (31:51):
I'm telling you, man, I'm watching it. I'm going to
tell you something. I've been saying this on this radio show.
I have a very very strong feeling. I know it's close,
and we've been telling everybody's close, and our vote matters,
but I think we're the deciding factor here, and I
think that we're going to show up in alarming numbers
and we're going to surprise a few people because they've
(32:13):
already started the Shenanigans down here in Georgia. Oh yeah,
we had a guy TC Carson who said they changed
his vote, and woman called in said they changed her
vote too, and they had to get their ballance back
and redo them. So they're voted for VP Kamala Harris
and they changing votes, man, And that we've got to
be on point. We've got to be diligent. We've got
(32:36):
to be aware of the Shenanigans because they were so
pissed at losing Georgia last year, they pulling out all
the stops, man. So we got to be on point here,
We really.
Speaker 14 (32:47):
Really we have to be on point.
Speaker 13 (32:49):
And the thing, Steve, I tell all of the lists folks,
if you run into any problems while you're trying to vote,
or you're trying to just figure out where your precinct is,
go to I will vote dot com. I will vote
dot com. You can find your precinct. You can if
you need a.
Speaker 14 (33:09):
Lawyer, we have lawyers on the ready.
Speaker 13 (33:12):
You should exercise your right to vote. You can even
if you're standing in line.
Speaker 14 (33:16):
You can even text.
Speaker 13 (33:17):
Vote bote to seven zero eight.
Speaker 14 (33:19):
Eight eight, and we will have lawyers who will respond
to you right now. Uh and to get you information.
Speaker 13 (33:26):
You need in order to make sure your vote is
count because the Republicans are trying everything that they can
to keep people from the ballot box. But we know
we're not gonna let them steal your vote or your voice.
Speaker 14 (33:37):
So make sure you go to I will vote dot com.
Share that information with your friends and your family. Make
sure you exercise your rights vote.
Speaker 6 (33:44):
Let's go absolutely see important information that has to be
out there. I will vote dot com. If you have
any problem, if you're in line with the problem, yeah,
I can go to I will vote dot com. I
don't care what's happening. We got away because we know
what's going on right here. You know, there's a stark
(34:06):
contrast between Vice President Kamala Harris and her New Way
Forward plan that would give black communities the resources and
opportunity to thrive now and versus Donald Trump's Project twenty
twenty five agenda that would take black communities backwards. Let's
talk about the differences. What's your message to voters on
(34:28):
that well.
Speaker 13 (34:29):
In particularly, I want to say the black men's chief.
Can anybody think I'm forty eight years old. I can
tell you no president that I can recall has ever
had a black agenda.
Speaker 14 (34:41):
For bat men until Kamala Harris.
Speaker 13 (34:43):
I said, fine, one who it came out with an
agenda bullet points for black men, non Democrat or Republicans
until Kama Harris. And this woman has the strength of
conviction and the value in order to you know, she
went out and had about a year and a half ago,
she went and had round tables with black men to
(35:05):
talk about what are some of the barriers that you
have in terms of getting involved in business, the building
wealth and all. And she took the product of that conversation.
She'd listened to all of those men in those conversations,
and now she has come back with addressing some of
these things in the policy things that she has rolled
out in this campaign. But she heard during those conversations
(35:26):
Steve that you know, you can only get five thousand
dollars from the federal government. So what he said, you
can't start a business with five thousand dollars, how about
fifty thousand dollars to start a business. And now what
she just rolled out in her Black Men's Attenda is
that she will have one million small brands that small
business loans that would be available for black entrepreneurs that
(35:47):
would be forgivable up to twenty thousand dollars. So fifty
thousands plus twenty thousand and seventy thousand. What did Donald
Trump as he's talking about tariffs, how is that going
to help a small black business be started in this country?
Speaker 14 (36:01):
If not?
Speaker 6 (36:01):
Hey, Jamie Harrison, Democratic Chair, hang on one second. They're
gonna come back with more with DNC Chair Jamie Harrison
right after this.
Speaker 9 (36:11):
You're listening hardy Morning Shows.
Speaker 6 (36:14):
Hi, everybody, we're back in our special guests this morning.
It's a DNC chair, mister Jamie Harrison, and we've been
talking about simply one thing.
Speaker 13 (36:21):
When we look at housing, I'd like to say her
agenda is about health, it's about wealth, it's about freedom.
Speaker 14 (36:28):
When we look at housing, you know, we got a
lot of folks who are still.
Speaker 13 (36:32):
Staying with their parents because they can't afford a down
payment on the house. And she said, well, let's do
something about that twenty five thousand dollars to help with
a down payment on your first home. That's a game
changer for a lot of votes. No other president has
ever been talking about that until Comma Eric. When we
think about health aspects, we know that black men have
(36:54):
disproportionate impact in certain things diabetes, property canidder in the life.
She wants to start an initiative focusing specifically on these
health disparities that black men have to address and deal with,
and to be preventive about it instead of being reactive
to it.
Speaker 14 (37:12):
Right because many times we don't know that we have
these illnesses until it's well too.
Speaker 13 (37:17):
Late, and then we got to get amputations for diabetes
and all of the life.
Speaker 14 (37:21):
This is why it's important to.
Speaker 13 (37:23):
Have somebody like Kama Harris, because she will have the conversation.
She'll take what she learned from those conversations and then
turn it into effects of policy that will actually make
a difference in our lives.
Speaker 6 (37:34):
You know what, mister Harrison, I said this a couple
of days ago, a few days ago on the radio show,
that I had never seen an agenda for black people
people period. Let longs be more specific about black men
I'd never seen that ever before, because I realized that
(37:54):
you can't win an election with just one vote. But
then to want to be inclusive, to make sure because
that's an underserved community in black men. They've always felt ostracized,
they've always felt on the outside looking in. And to
finally have somebody speak to that, I think it's just outstanding.
You know. I know there's a lot of things we
(38:16):
could talk about this bus tool, but I like to
tap on a couple of things man, that really in
the what do you say to the voter out there?
Because my listening audience is very, very bright when you
see blacks for Trump, or when you see the undecided voter,
(38:36):
what's your message to the undecided voter? I don't know
how you're undecided thirteen days, but they're out there talking.
So what's the message.
Speaker 13 (38:44):
Why do you believe Trump is a better person than
Kamala harrisy president the ninety eighth And then they'll come
up with all.
Speaker 14 (38:50):
Kinds of things.
Speaker 13 (38:51):
Well, Trump provided the similar check. Well, well, here's the
fact on that. Actually the Similars was passed by a
Democratic couege and the Democratic Senate and Donald Trump's son.
But in actuality. It was the Biden administration that came
up with us even bigger stimilar one that cut childhood
poverty in half in the blackmun put more money in
people's pockets than the similars that passed during Donald Trump's president.
(39:15):
We remember the PPP low well, when Donald Trump was president,
the PPP lowans went to the La Lakers. It didn't
go to the black barbershops and the black muticians and
the black businesses that needed.
Speaker 6 (39:27):
Jamie Harrison, Democratic Chair. Hang on one second, they're gonna
come back with more DNC Chair Jamie Harrison right after this.
Speaker 9 (39:36):
You're listening hard morning shows.
Speaker 6 (39:40):
All right, everybody, we're back at our special guest this morning.
It's a DNC chair, mister Jamie Harrison, and we've been
talking about simply one thing, why we need to get
out and vote. Period. That's all it is. It's go
time right now, y'all. We're thirteen days out. There's no more.
Listen to me. Stop talking about you undecided. The decision
(40:00):
is clear. It's him or her. What you want decent
or you want the other. The choices is clear. Do
you want honorable or do you want the other? Do
you want truth or do you want the other? You know,
do you? And this is really what we're down to. Man,
(40:21):
So we've got him on the phone today because he
does such a great job of this last thing.
Speaker 4 (40:27):
Man.
Speaker 6 (40:27):
You're on a bus tour right now. You're covering Florida, Georgia,
North Carolina. Where are you right now, Jamie.
Speaker 14 (40:34):
Jo I am.
Speaker 13 (40:35):
We're now in Georgia. We're headed towards Atlanta. We just
left a few hours ago Jacksonville.
Speaker 14 (40:41):
I was in Orlando earlier.
Speaker 13 (40:43):
We'll be in Atlanta, we'll get Augusta, we'll go to
my home state of South Carolina, where I will cast
my early ballot to vote. We'll do a little rally
there with a little folks, and then we'll head up
to North Carolina. Battleground North Carolina. And you know, Georgia
and North Carolina particular are going to be key states
for US. But Florida is also important. They got an
(41:04):
important Senate race there and Member four, which is a
reproductive freedom of women, is on the ballot. Cannabis is
also on.
Speaker 14 (41:12):
The ballot in Florida this election cycle.
Speaker 13 (41:15):
So you know, they're a lot of important races. So
regardless of where you are, where you live, folks, you
got to vote. If you sit there and you complain
every day about everything that's going on in the world
and you don't go on exercise, you're right to vote.
In essence, you're giving away your power to other people
to make a determination about what happens to you and
your family and your community. And you can't give your.
Speaker 14 (41:36):
Power a week.
Speaker 6 (41:37):
Okay, not Jamie, the yes, sir. The battleground states. Let's
go over those, which yus are they and where are
we putting our focus at on these?
Speaker 13 (41:47):
So the battleground of all battlegrounds is Pennsylvania. So if
you vote, you in Philly, you're in Pittsburgh. Whatever.
Speaker 14 (41:55):
We need you to go out vote. Take a few
people with you. Now, it's not good enough for you
to vote.
Speaker 13 (42:01):
You got to get a few people with us. So
we go to Pennsylvania. From Pennsylvania over to Michigan. Michigan
is also a very very close race. We know what
Donald Trump believes about Detroit. He's already said it multiple times.
So Detroit is down for y'all to show.
Speaker 14 (42:15):
Up and show out.
Speaker 13 (42:17):
We go from Michigan then over to Wisconsin, battleground Wisconsin.
We know what he said about Milwaukee. Again, in any
city that is predominantly black, we know what Donald Trump
thinks about you because he said it. You don't have
to take my word for it. He's already said it.
Speaker 14 (42:33):
Milwaukee is going to be key and crucial.
Speaker 13 (42:36):
Then we go to Nevada, Las Vegas. We need you,
we need you to go out and vote there. And
Arizona is another battleground state. And then we swipped back
around and we go to battleground Georgia and then North Carolina.
But we also got some important Senate races. Texas, we
got an opportunity, see.
Speaker 14 (42:56):
To send ted cruise back to Cancoon. We that raise
is tight. You're talking about tight. That raises tight.
Speaker 13 (43:07):
Uh. The Vice presidents gonna be down there this week
to talk about reproductor freedom. But I've been campaigning with
Colin Allred.
Speaker 14 (43:15):
Folks, if you.
Speaker 13 (43:16):
Are in Texas, you got family in Texas, make sure
they go out.
Speaker 14 (43:21):
Because we can win that range and that raid.
Speaker 13 (43:24):
Jordan so our candidate calling all Red Colin already he
was a former football player. Uh, black guy, great guy.
Speaker 14 (43:33):
Uh.
Speaker 13 (43:34):
And he will.
Speaker 14 (43:35):
You remember the congressional black coffers. He will make.
Speaker 13 (43:38):
One half of the United States Center and we know
about Ted Cruz. Ted Cruse allowed Donald Trump to dog
his wife out, I mean and his daddy, right, and
he left his poor dog at home while he was
about to go to can Coon to get the margaritas
while its constituents for freezing in Texas.
Speaker 14 (43:59):
He have this dog at home. I mean, that's who
this man is. He's not gonna fight for you because
he won't even fight for his life. So we know
he ain't gonna do anything for you. But we can
send a real fighter to Washington, d C. To the
United States Senate and Colin. All Right, and folks, I
need you all to go out and do all you
can to support Colin in that reason.
Speaker 6 (44:20):
Jamie Harrison, thank you for joining us today.
Speaker 14 (44:23):
Brother, I appreciate you.
Speaker 6 (44:24):
Before his time, thank you both.
Speaker 13 (44:26):
Okay, we well do all right?
Speaker 9 (44:27):
Coming up next, it is the prank phone call for
today from the nephew.
Speaker 1 (44:31):
Right after this, you're.
Speaker 9 (44:33):
Listening Hardy Morning Show. Coming up at about four minutes
after the hour, it's my Strawberry letter for today and
the subject is why did he open.
Speaker 1 (44:44):
His big mouth?
Speaker 9 (44:46):
Believe it, we'll get into it, find out what it's
all about in just a few because right now the
nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
Speaker 10 (44:53):
What she got for his new sure it is right
here is Unorthodox methods. Unorthodox methods, Yes, yes, very unauthor dice.
But you know, Tommy, I always here to help, That's
what I do. You know, I'm here to help. I'm
I'm a chill forgiver on uth the DOS Methods cat dog.
Speaker 7 (45:13):
If you could.
Speaker 4 (45:15):
Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach trying to reach brother
Robert and speaking. Hey, how you doing. I'm calling you
from the church. How you doing, brother man? I'm doing
super fantastic. Every day above ground is a good day.
That's good. That's good. Hey, hey, listen, man, we wanted
to be in one of the brothers of the church.
I wanted to give you a call. Man. You didn't
(45:36):
make it today, but you well, you know, your wife
stood up to date and ask us to keep you
all and our prayers because y'all definitely trying to bring
a new child into the world. And she let us
know that, you know, she's being a little older now
forty one, forty two. You know, she said it takes
a little longer to try and conceive a child. And
(45:57):
you know, in your earlier years. So we we definitely
wanted to let you know, man that we we got
y'all in our prayers. Man. Man, you just don't know
how much we appreciate that. Man. Yeah, we've been trying,
but I know, with with prayers, all things all possible. Yeah. Well,
we definitely want to definitely want to keep you out
in our prayers, man, and I hope that you are
able to conceive this child and bring you know, bring, bring, bring,
(46:17):
bringing news our new child in to this world. You
know that the books to be pruful and multiplies definitely definitely.
Now who is this again? Brother? Brother? I don't know
if you know me directly, but I'm I'm brother all,
one of the brothers at the church. Okay, okay, brother,
thank you not not not brother Robert. What I want
to ask you, man, was have you considered any any
(46:37):
alternatives methods as far as you know, maybe helping this situation? Uh,
we've looked at a few what what what what are
you referring to as an alternative? Well, I mean I
think I have a good thing, man that might be
able to help this thing speed up the process. And
and and and you guys to be expecting in no time. Man, Man,
(47:00):
we know for some things like that. What what what
what you got in mind? I mean, uh, well, what
I have is a little little unorthodox, man. But I
think if you allow me to help you on this, man,
I think that you'll be definitely satisfied. And you know, man,
if nine months or not, you got to be at
the hospital wait looking for you your baby for all
your paper girl, you know who classify an orthodox? Okay?
(47:25):
See what I have in mind, man, is have you
considered maybe like a surrogate father clasify classified Saia, I'm
thinking the wrong thing. I don't want I want to
make ship will on the same page. What do you
mean by Sarah? The fuck? Well? What it is man?
Is you know you know, of course a mother is
someone that will carry a child for those that cannot
(47:48):
carry one. You know what I'm saying right right? So
what what?
Speaker 11 (47:51):
What?
Speaker 4 (47:52):
What? I've gone to the doctor and got myself checked out, man,
good physical and everything. I'm physically fitting everything. And you know,
maybe I guess the complications are coming from uh you
as far as the child not being you know, you're
not being able to conceive right now? Now that ain't
ain't nothing wrong with me? Man? Okay, Now what you
mean by you physically fit? I mean, what the hell
(48:13):
they got to do with shared? Well, see what I'm
saying is if well, you know, if you if you
allow me to come over and and supply my services.
I mean, let's say, if you left for a weekend, man,
and I stayed over there by the time you get
back there, Man, what's wrong with you? It's just what's
going on at this church man and I at the room.
Chase say, you're telling me you try help me understand
(48:35):
you saying you want to come over and have sex
with my wae. Well, I mean, I mean, don't don't
look at it like that. Don't look at it like that.
Look at it if I'm helping you. You're telling me
I retically you just ain't us what excuse me? Okay,
you want to come out of no no, no, I
want to come over and just apply my services man
and put you guys in a better position that you
(48:57):
will be your life. You understand what I'm saying. You

It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
We got it for you here.
Speaker 6 (54:18):
It is Strawberry Letter.
Speaker 1 (54:20):
All right, neph you, thank you. Subject why did he
open this big mouth?
Speaker 9 (54:24):
Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married for thirteen years and
we've had more good days than bad. I have two
beautiful children, and that is why I struggle so hard
to keep my marriage going. I've found out recently that
he's been hiding money and he's got a girlfriend. I've
overlooked a lot of foul stuff he does, and this
(54:46):
is no different. I just didn't want our children to
find out the way they did. Last Friday, I got
a call from my fifteen year old son telling me
that his daddy had a lady in our formal living
room and he said they were talking over a business deal.
He told my son to go outside and shoot hoops
with his best friend. My son texted me and said
(55:06):
his dad put him out till his company left.
Speaker 1 (55:09):
I rushed to the house and the woman was gone.
Speaker 9 (55:12):
My son was still outside with his best friend shooting basketball.
I went inside and my husband said the lady had
a proposal for him to join her company. He said
it was none of my business until they worked out
the details. We started arguing so loudly that my son
went and got his best friend's mom and they all
(55:32):
came inside the house in front of everybody. My husband
said that he loves the other woman, and I know
he loves the woman, so stop acting like I'm all surprised.
Speaker 1 (55:44):
Huh huh, yeah.
Speaker 9 (55:46):
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. My son and his best friend
went back outside. I had to face the best friend's mom,
who hates me and was almost smiling at the news.
I thanked her for coming, and I asked her to leave.
She was being fake and acted concern while my sweet
husband was reminding me, reminding her that I hate her guts.
(56:07):
The news spread quickly, and now I feel like everybody
is laughing at me, and I feel pressure to react.
Why did he have to open his big mouth in
front of her? Is this a wake up call from
the higher power?
Speaker 6 (56:19):
Please?
Speaker 1 (56:20):
Advice? You gotta be worried.
Speaker 9 (56:22):
About more than him opening up his mouth in front
of her. You should be concerned about what he said.
And I'm really trying to figure this part out. You're
asking us to please advice. What do you want Steve
and I to advise you on specifically, because the only
advice I can give you is how to pack his
stuff and kick him out, because clearly this marriage is
(56:45):
over and I know you're not thinking of taking him
back and all of that. When he had this woman
in your house and proclaimed his love for her in
front of you, his wife, your son's best friend, and
his mother who hates you. Furthermore, your husband said it
(57:07):
should have been of no surprise to you because you
knew he loved the other woman. Huh So, if all
this is true, are you taking this crap just so
you can stay in this marriage like you have been
for thirteen years? You say it's for the kids, but
it's more than that, just to say you have a husband.
This man has been lying to you, He's been hiding
(57:28):
money from you. He's not worth all this, losing yourself
and all that. Yes, it is a wake up call.
You know the truth for real now, for real, for real,
because you have seen it and heard it from him.
Don't just stay with him in the sham of a
marriage and allow him to treat you any old kind
of way. This marriage is over, Steve.
Speaker 6 (57:48):
I done heard some things in this job head letter.
Speaker 1 (57:52):
Yeah, but this.
Speaker 7 (57:54):
Will right here.
Speaker 6 (57:55):
I don't even know if I'm gonna be able to
get to it. There's so much I want to unpack
it this letter. It's just this that is just hell.
This is a letter. I've been married thirteen years. We've
had more good days than bad. That right, there is
not true anyway. I have two beautiful children. That's why
I struggle so hard to keep this marriage going. See,
(58:15):
you can't say we've had more good days than bad
and then say that's why I struggle to keep his
marriage going. I found out recently he's been hiding money. Well,
okay that I advise most guys take a little bit
and stash it on the side. I advise most women
take a little bit, stash it on the side. That's
why I advise it full bank accounts so you don't
(58:36):
have to stash you can just have your money. And
I found out recently he's been hiding money and he's
got a girlfriend. Now, this is where we're starting to
run into problem. You can hide money, but you got
to do a better job of hiding at Helfer. I'm
telling you, Pardner, you hiding money. You ain't good at hiding.
Let me just say that right there. Because she know
(58:57):
about the money and the damn girlfrid and she said,
I just didn't want our children to find out the
way they did. She got a call from a fifteen
year old son last Friday. He told her that his
daddy had a lady in their living room and they
was talking over a business deal. Okay, right there is
(59:18):
the beginning of the term you that lost your damn mind.
See right there, dog, you don't bring the problem to
the house. He told my son go outside and play
basketball with his best friend. My son texted me and
told me that is that. Look. First of all, your
(59:40):
daddyne told you. Your son is trying to warn you. Mama, Mama,
just don't look. Because he's fifteen. He at that age. Now.
My son texted me and said, Dad put him out
to the company. Left. I rushed the house. The woman
was gone. My son was outside with his best friend.
I went inside. My husband said the lady had a
proposal for him to join her company. Hey, he said,
(01:00:01):
it's none of my business until he worked out the details.
This is the second part of you that lost your
damn mind. You can't tell your wife that another woman
was in her house and it ain't none of her
damn business. Boy, you should have prepared better for this.
Right here, we started auguing so loudly. My son went
(01:00:22):
and got his best friend. As mom because it sounded
like y'all y'all was really arguing, he said, let me
go get some help because it looked like it looked
like they finish kill each other. Hang up, they came
inside and in front of everybody. When we come back,
I'm gonna tell you what this food said. Wow.
Speaker 9 (01:00:36):
All right, the well in part two of Steve's response,
coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour, Today's
strawberry letter? Subject Why did he open his big mouth?
We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
hard morning show.
Speaker 1 (01:00:51):
All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter?
Speaker 4 (01:00:54):
Who?
Speaker 1 (01:00:54):
Why did he open his big mouth? Is the subject?
Speaker 6 (01:00:57):
All right, y'all, let me get to this quick, because
this letter got a lot of meat in it. Here's
a lady been married thirteen years and got two kids.
That's why she struggled to keep our marriage going. But
she say her, she've had more good days than bad days,
but she struggling to keep it going because he's always
doing some file stuff. Recently found out that he been
hiding money. Okay, cool, that's okay. And he got a girlfriend, dog,
(01:01:21):
you got to do a better job of hiding. You
can't hide money all your girlfriend, but you have got
to do a better job of hiding his hell, I'm
just telling you that right now. Anyway, I overlooked a
lot of file stuff he does. Now see that's why
I know this ain't a good marriage. She says, I've
overlooked a lot of file stuff he does, and this
is no different. So she been compromising herself just for
(01:01:43):
the sake of his marriage, because they got these two
beautiful kids, and she just didn't want the kids to
find out the way they did that he had this girlfriend,
you're fifteen year old young for her fifteen year old
son called her text her and told her that daddy
had a lady in a formal lit the room and
they was talking over a business deal. Okay, he dodne
(01:02:04):
lost his damn mind because this lady that's at the
house is the girlfriend. We find that out, So he
done lost his damn mind. He told his son go
outside and play basketball with his best friend. His son
went out inside and said, Mama, he told me to
go outside and play basketball with my best friend. Your
son is letting you know this. This feels real fishy, Mama,
(01:02:27):
and he owned the mama's side. I rushed to the house.
The woman was gone. My son was outside with his
best friend. Shooting basketball. I went inside and the lady.
She and the husband said the lady had a proposal
for him to join her company. He said it was
none of my business until he worked out the details. Okay,
(01:02:47):
do like I said. The first way he lost his
mind was he brought this woman to the house. Second
thing he told his wife wasn't none of your damn
business until we work out the details. Okay, your mind
is completely gone to this point, but he takes it
a step further. We started arguing so loudly that my
son went and got his best friends. Mama. Let me
(01:03:07):
go over here and get my friends, mama, because it
sounds like they finish kill each other in this house,
So let me go get a witness in him. So
they all came inside the house in front of everybody.
Come on, my husband said, I can't even. It's hard
(01:03:29):
for me to get these words out, but I can't even.
Speaker 16 (01:03:32):
My husband said, he loves the other woman, and I
know he loves the woman, So stop acting like I'm surprised.
Speaker 6 (01:03:44):
God dog, he'd done lost his whole rabbit ass mine,
it's going I don't even.
Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
Know, really, Bruh, broh, terrible bro.
Speaker 6 (01:03:57):
We ain't I ain't never had an argument that hard,
and I have totally been against a person I've been
married to before completely and didn't have the guts to
say that. My son and his best friend went back outside.
I had to face the best friend's mom, who hates
(01:04:18):
me and was almost smiling at the news. I thanked
her for coming, and I asked her to leave. She
was being fake in acting concern while my sweet husband
was reminding her that I hate her guts. You know, uh,
you know Albertado, Ca dand you know that I appreciate
you coming over here. This dude right here, he trifling
(01:04:40):
on so many levels. He making sure you miserable. He
don't want nobody comforting you. He don't want nobody siding
with you. This dude is a complete butt. I thanked
her for coming as a lead. The news spread quickly.
Hell yeah, she went outside and told And now I
feel like everybody's laughing me, and I feel pressured to react.
(01:05:03):
You feel pressure to react a choice because they laughing
at you. Why did he have to open his big
mouth in front of her, lady. I don't care if
he said this in the privacy, If y'all was in
the dish. I don't care if he was in a
confession booth at a Catholic church. I don't care if
(01:05:24):
he stood up on Save Night at the Baptist convention
and laid himself on the altar and said it. I
didn't know. I don't see how he said this.
Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
Who does hit it?
Speaker 6 (01:05:35):
Crazy? Is this a wake up call from the higher
higher Power? You mean God?
Speaker 7 (01:05:41):
Wait?
Speaker 6 (01:05:41):
Hold up? Whoa? Is this a wake up call from
the Higher Power? Do you mean God? You need God
to tell you what's having in here? Because it's nothing
godly about your husband. Please advise. Listen to me, lady.
(01:06:03):
Your husband wants out of the marriage. Your son wants
you out of the marriage. Your son, at fifteen, knows
what his daddy is up to now. In front of
your son, he watched his father hurt the first woman
(01:06:23):
he's ever loved. I'm telling you, he on the White's side.
He on your side because your son loves you, and
he heard him say that. That's crazy. My daddy told
my mama that he love another woman. I can't stand him. Lady,
get out. Yes, this ain't no message from the High Power.
(01:06:44):
You can call it whatever you want. Just get out.
I can't believe he said that I'm in love with
it and you know it.
Speaker 1 (01:06:51):
Don't be acting all surprised.
Speaker 6 (01:06:54):
God believe you know.
Speaker 4 (01:06:55):
La.

Speaker 9 (01:10:22):
You're listening Hardy Morning Show. All right, Steve, This is
from Nikita in Oaklawn. Nikita writes, I have three roommates,
and one of my roomy's dad's invited me out for
coffee and he told me he'd pay all of my
bills if I would go away with him for the weekend.
He said he wants to get to know me. He said,
(01:10:42):
stranger things have happened, so I shouldn't be worried about
what other people will say. He is very sexy. And single,
older man. But it's my friend's dad. I'm twenty nine
and I just broke up with my boyfriend because he cheated.
Should I go see what's up with this older gentleman?
Speaker 6 (01:11:00):
I think you gone. You know, I appreciate the letter,
but I think you gone. Where y'all going?

Speaker 6 (01:11:56):

it means. I got the dude that's together. You know,
them old cast can be pretty fly when they want to,
and they and they know debate to dangle it in
front of you to get you to react, but it's
(01:12:17):

you know, yeah, that's like saying, don't let a girl
come between your friendship. We probably ain't gonna be fresh.
Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
And you shouldn't know.
Speaker 7 (01:12:31):
Isn't that bro col.
Speaker 6 (01:12:34):
Well, well it's bro code. If that's his boys his
girlfriend and that's your boy, you can't do it.
Speaker 19 (01:12:41):
So if it was three guys in y'all were roommates
and you had an opportunity to go with the one
of your roommate's mother.
Speaker 7 (01:12:49):
How long we've been roommates, how long we've been doing them.
Speaker 1 (01:12:55):
Matter, how fine is this mom?
Speaker 6 (01:13:01):
I never had a roommate mama I was attracted to
at all. Ever, elf, I have never seen that before.
So that was my first Who mama, Who mama? You
talking about?
Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
Real thing?
Speaker 6 (01:13:12):
We gotta think about this. We really I don't have one.
I don't have one friend who mama was ever fine.
I've never had a partner who had a fine mama.
Speaker 7 (01:13:24):
Alpha.
Speaker 19 (01:13:25):
So think back when you were in college, who was struggling.
Speaker 6 (01:13:31):
Struggling everybody mama in college looked like their mama look
like a couple of them look like their grandmama. So yeah,
I go through all my mama, all my dudes. I
grew up with everybody. I ain't never I never had
a friend mama that was fine. Now I knew one
(01:13:53):
dude that had a fine mama, but I we wasn't friends.
Speaker 10 (01:13:57):
Oh and my son went out of town with her.
Speaker 6 (01:14:01):
Oh, no, I've been gone. My Sunday school teacher was
twenty years old and I was eight. Lord, Lord, I
had a crush on her.
Speaker 7 (01:14:15):
Man.
Speaker 6 (01:14:15):
I couldn't believe.
Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
Man.
Speaker 6 (01:14:16):
She wore fish net stockings and would sit on the
table and cross her legs. Yeah, she had on lengthy
dress across her legs, on fish net stockings and be
talking about the Bible. I never cared about Jesus. She's
not in the Bible, Yes, how I never cared about Jesus.
(01:14:37):
More she was talking and Ike has his card class
And she was one of the lead singers in.
Speaker 1 (01:14:44):
The corn was your dad's favorite soloists, right, man.
Speaker 6 (01:14:48):
They sang and she was fine. She had blonde streaks
in her health because my mom's sister didn't do none
of that blonde.
Speaker 9 (01:15:01):
She says, all right, coming up at twenty minutes a

Let me ask you something. If you ride a bike,
does that does that count them steps? Because you're on
not swinging well, but you're moving though, so it should
(01:16:22):
be it should be calculating distance. It should it should
be more distance. I got to get these steps in.
Speaker 7 (01:16:29):
Well, do you pedling? Ain't no steps.
Speaker 6 (01:16:31):
But I'm just saying, if you own a bike, pedland
with that count, I don't think that's counting.
Speaker 19 (01:16:38):
It might do your heart rate and all that kind
of stuff may not count.
Speaker 10 (01:16:42):
Yeah, but not it's not gonna it's not gonna count
them steps steps.

It is time now for a round him? Would you rather?
Would you rather? Apple pie or pecan pie?
Speaker 6 (01:17:06):
Which one?
Speaker 7 (01:17:08):
Apple?
Speaker 1 (01:17:10):
Apple?
Speaker 6 (01:17:11):
If it's a bluebell on top? Apple can pie? Too sweet? Yeah,
that's a lot of cigarette. There's too damn sweet.
Speaker 1 (01:17:22):
And it's pecan.
Speaker 6 (01:17:25):
I did well. Either way. You eat a slice, you're
gonna have to go lay down.
Speaker 1 (01:17:30):
Your head is going to be spinning.
Speaker 6 (01:17:32):
It's pecan.
Speaker 1 (01:17:33):
Surely it pgan Carlos.
Speaker 7 (01:17:35):
Not it's pecan.
Speaker 2 (01:17:39):
You tew me.
Speaker 1 (01:17:41):
Would you rather sports car or pickup truck? Pick a
sports car or pickup truck?
Speaker 9 (01:17:48):
Pick up pickup truck, My daddy truck pick up yep,
all right, Steve, sports car pickup truck.
Speaker 6 (01:17:57):
You just take out all that.
Speaker 2 (01:17:59):
Well, it just depends on.
Speaker 1 (01:18:05):
Where you're going, what you're doing, what you got on.
Speaker 6 (01:18:08):
I ain't really a sports car. Gattle wrapped it.
Speaker 9 (01:18:12):
A truck, all right? Would you rather lie about everything
or lose two front teeth?
Speaker 4 (01:18:28):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (01:18:30):
All right?
Speaker 9 (01:18:31):
Would you rather sleep in a twin bed with your wife?
Would you rather sleep on a king air mattress?
Speaker 6 (01:18:45):

Speaker 7 (01:19:03):

Speaker 9 (01:19:03):
Would you rather wrap all of the Christmas presents or
would you rather bake all of the dessert?
Speaker 6 (01:19:09):
Which one?
Speaker 9 (01:19:11):
Would you rather wrap all of the Christmas presents or
would you rather bake all of the dessert?
Speaker 6 (01:19:20):
Either way, I ain't gonna make Christmas finish. I'm gonna
make your dessert baking all the desserts.
Speaker 12 (01:19:31):
You can rap.
Speaker 6 (01:19:34):
I can wrap, but it's gonna be a lot of
tape on it. Though. Little corners ain't gonna be even.
They're gonna have bubbles on all the corners. I know
how to get that little V at the end, but
I don't never. I don't never tell if the right
amount of wrapping paper to wrap it always be short.
If I'm short, I did need that little gap at
(01:19:55):
the bottom.
Speaker 1 (01:19:55):
Right, What the gift is?
Speaker 9 (01:19:59):
Yeah, that's today's rounded.
Speaker 1 (01:20:06):
Would you rather thank you? Guys?
Speaker 9 (01:20:07):
Coming up next, we'll close out the show with the
one and only Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening
Harvey Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (01:20:16):
All right, guys, here we are last break of the day.
Speaker 9 (01:20:19):
Before we get to you, Steve, we got to say
thank you to d n C chair Jamie Harrison for
coming on earlier today and make sure if you have
any questions or anything go to I will vote dot com.
Speaker 7 (01:20:31):
You know what.
Speaker 6 (01:20:32):
These are my closing remarks. Yeah, he was good, he's
he's informative. These are my closing remarks. You, me, we
and they all have to vote. This is serious, man.
You see Barack Obama campaign and as hard as he's doing,
(01:20:56):
that's cause this thing is close. And it's close because
we should be concerned about the closeness of this race,
because why why is this what appears to be such
an obvious choice, Why is this obvious choice so close?
Why are there so many Americans willing to overlook the
(01:21:21):
person that Donald Trump is? Why is it man that
this election is close when it comes to character. Why
is this election close when it concerns with quality of education?
Why is this election close when it's concerning caring about
(01:21:47):
the people of this country? Why is this election close
when you consider a person's political record. Why is this
election close when you look at at a person's criminal record?
Why is this election even close? How is it that
this country has managed to allow a man who has
(01:22:11):
thirty four federal indictments be allowed anywhere near the White
House when you know, good hell well, your black ass
wouldn't be nowhere near the White House, your house, the
post office, faed x ups, general meals, general motors. You
(01:22:34):
put on an application and let them find out that
you have an indictment and see if you get the job.
So my question is, how is this even close? Why
is it that so many people have decided to look
(01:22:55):
the other way when it comes to looking at the
record and the character and quality of a person this
man is. Well, I've only come to one conclusion. The
reason they're all willing to look the other way is
because they are similar. That's the only thing I can
say to you. They okay with it because they okay
(01:23:19):
with him getting away with it now. The other reason
is rather obvious. It's just some people are not gonna
vote for a black person. That's an obvious reason, and
that's what's making this election close too. And please don't
sleep on this. There are white people who will not
vote for this woman simply because she is black. There
(01:23:40):
are black people and white people who will not vote
for this woman simply because she is a woman. The
scary part is there are black people who will not
vote for her for two reasons, because she's black and
a woman. That's just some black people who just don't
see themselves as good enough and white has been right
(01:24:02):
their whole life, and they have voted that way, acted
that way, and portrayed themselves that way. When you are
willing to walk away from everything that you are to
be accepted by who they are, that's a sad, sad situation.
But there are black people that fit into that category.
(01:24:22):
Sad to say, but it is. We all know one,
We all know one. If you don't know one personally,
you've been exposed to one. Let me show you how
this party really really works. On January the sixth, when
that mob broke into the Capitol and all those politicians
(01:24:47):
ran for their life. When it got cleared up, they
all stood there and said, enough is enough. Now we've
had enough. This is too much. This man has to
be stopped. That they were scared for their life. When
they found out that he controlled the minds of the
(01:25:08):
Trumpsters and those Rabbit voters, they all changed their song
and said, he's the guy for us? Are you serious?
How could that be? They've overlooked everything, the indictments. If
Barack Obama had an indictment, do you think he could
(01:25:30):
run for president? If Kamala Harris had an indictment, do
you think she could run? Joe Biden. They want to
get rid of Joe Biden for some of his boy did,
but you won't get rid of Donald Trump for what
he did. This is crazy to me, man. We cannot
afford to sit this out. We have got to make
(01:25:52):
a statement. And the two statements we need to make
is our vote matters, and I'm telling you it matters
because they all wanted the republic want it. Look at
the Trump rallies, how they find the six black people
that they got at the rally, and they put them
all right behind him. But if you scan the rest
of that rally, ain't no vote. They put them all
behind him. This is crazy, y'all. We're thirteen days out.
(01:26:16):
We got to vote, and we got to show up
because they not counting us. They counting on us to
be discouraged by all the rules and antics they playing
with this election. I will vote dot Com. Go to
I will vote dot Com. If you're standing in line
and you see some shenanigans, go to I will vote
(01:26:37):
dot Com. If you get a ballot and it ain't right,
go to I will vote dot Com. If you think
anything is shaky that's happening in your community or your
polling place, go to I will vote dot Com and
they will get you help with a lawyer immediately. That's
what Jamie Harrison said today. Those are my clothes remarks.
We've got to vote. It's go time, y'all.
Speaker 1 (01:26:54):
Peace for all.
Speaker 9 (01:27:05):
