for like eight months, and for the most part, things
are really great. But his mom does this really weird thing,
and she's tried to talk to him about it, and
like he doesn't want to upset her.

Yeah, he tried to talk to her about it.

It's so weird.

Okay, So he still lives at home, which is not
a big deal. We're twenty three, but like his mom
likes to come to his room at night and tuck
us in. Yeah, it's really weird. And she also takes
like pictures of us lying next to each other.

WHOA OK.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
Yeah, and I told I told my boyfriend that I
think it's weird, and he said that, like she's been
tucking him in since he was a kid, so he
feels really bad telling her to stop. But then, yeah,
it's so weird. And then the other night she like
jumps under the sheets with us while watching a movie
and like ask us questions the whole time that the

movie is on.

Oh no, that sounds like hell. Yeah, I mean sounds
like hell everybody.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
I mean, there's like being a mama's boy. But I
feel like this crosses the line and it's really weird,
and he won't do anything to stop it. And I
have to sleep over when we hang out because I
live two hours away from him, so like I kind
of have no choice and I have no idea what
to do in this situation.

Yeah, I wouldn't be able to stay the night there.
I've stopped spending the night at people's house for way
less than that.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
Yeah, But it's also like if she wants to see him,
what is she.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Supposed to do?

You know, if you live that far away from I
guess he like he won't put his foot down on this.
And what kind of scares me about that is like, right,
like if you're dating him, you guys are eight months
in Like what other things won't he put boundaries on?

Oh totally.

I mean that happens a lot. Like my uh my
sister's husband. Uh, they don't live here, so they're not listening.
I'll air business. Yeah, my sister's husband, he's a little
businessch When it comes to his mom, he don't tell
her nothing, and they show up on announced.

They come over all the time, like like his parents
are all up in the mix, and so like, yeah,
you could very well be you know, skyrocketing towards a
relationship where you got a mother in law that's all
up in the game.

Does she do it in like a is she like
serious about it or does she do it playfully?

You know, I don't know either way.

She kind of does it playfully. But it's also like
come on, like you know what I mean, like we'll
have dinner with you and like hang out with you
and like watch a movie on the couch, but like
don't I don't know. I feel like there's she knows
that I have no choice but to sleep over.

So like you have a significant other, significant others, mom
or parent.
