Speaker 1 (00:01):
Recorded live at the iHeart Studios in Philadelphia. How's the
APTI markets It's serving surrage?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Yet now here's rage?

Speaker 1 (00:09):
First off, I need to say, I think we should
make it into a drink like the Albertini Martini.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I love that, Natalia, Welcome to.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
This is also crazy because like this is our world's
colliding tenfold. Yes, for those who may not be familiar,
you are now on season what is it?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Twenty eight of.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
The Voice, Morning Raised, Plucked and Pigs out of South Jersey,
Baby Jerry Hill and last I saw you, I'm pretty
sure we were like getting drunk in a Philly sail day.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
We definitely were.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
It was actually, I think a Morgan mall and it
was the best, like none of my life.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
I had a great time. I was saying I wore
assless chap.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Sorry that, and my now husband literally fought me on
that the entire day. He's like, well, I didn't know
he was going to be proposing a week later, so
I'm like, until you put a ring on my finger,
you can't tell me what's a weary.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
And that's what's happened.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
And that's the last time I saw you, And a
lot has changed since then.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Is your world completely blowing up.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Meloped upside down. It's just the coolest thing. I think
this is the coolest. It never happened to me in
my life. I don't think I know that us.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Tell us how how we got here?

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Like obviously you've been posting on socials you singing for
as long as I've known you.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
But you're so incredibly talented. You are stunning, you are
Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Literally what I think people would picture as like someone
to be famous singer amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
That that means so much to me.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
I honestly, this whole journey has just been I can
write a movie on it. I feel like it's you know,
you start when you're young, and you know, my parents,
you know, loved music always growing up.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
My dad did wasn't a techno band.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
And then radio, yeah, learn today all types of music
and you know, we love everything. But then he met
my mom that way and they're like, well if we
can't do it, when I make sure our children can,
you know, have music in their lives. So whether that's
you know, dancing, singing, and whether that's anything of just
any type of art. And then yeah, I started singing.
I was nine and I'm with the same vocal teacher

(01:56):
I've been with since literally I was nine years old,
so sixteen years twenty five.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Okay, don't let me.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
I want to piggyback off of that at some point
when we get to the part of the story where
you find out you're getting on the voices.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Yes, but how did that.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Interaction start for you? Like was it a DM was
it a phone call? Like how did did you apply?

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah? I actually I've auditioned a lot of times. Let
me tell you that auditions. People don't know how strenuous.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Like the audition process I did America's Got Talent like
one time, but like clearly didn't make it onto the show.
You have to go through like seven different times before
you get to anybody. Yes, yes, but yeah that's really stressful.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Yeah, there's a lot of doors to keep opening, and
so you find you know, the golden door.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
You know for sure.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
It's a lot a lot more than people think. I
think people think you just like upload a video and
it's like cool, like all right, you can get on
the show now, and just like I love the comment
that's like you should audition for americanat or you should
audition him for the voice, and how many times have
I gotten that?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
It's like it's like only if you knew, it's just
like how.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Yes, right, yes, but no, I actually just applied online.
I just did an open call audition like every average
shough and then.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Someone just email you after how to go.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
I just went through the audition process like how every
like person would, just anyone who just does it online,
and you just I'm trying to like recall I think
actually you just it's like a countdown they tell you
the day you do it, Like there's a time slot
you kind of just like sing a little a little
snip of it. I think maybe like thirty seconds, like
on a zoom call, or like you can say like
a pre record video and you can record it kind
of help. Yeah, okay, and I recorded that video a

(03:18):
little bit if you one of times.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Let me tell you that.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
But you know, I'm sure you didn't need to because
I'm like the things you post on socials, I'm just like,
how is this girl like not.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Getting the line? Minds it takes.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Honestly, I think your vocal coach deserves all the credit everything.
Not saying you don't deserve the credit, but like you
can tell that you have training like vocal training.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
She really, you know, she has been such like I
can't even put into word. She built me from the
ground up. I mean, there's been so many times where
I was like, I don't want to do this, and
they know, my parents were like, you're going.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
You're doing it. We don't care, we don't care, you
don't like.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
You know, all that kind of stuff. But oh my gosh,
I can't even think them enough. I don't even know
how many times I can say thank you, because yeah,
it just feels I feel so just so I have
so much gratitude for just you know, my whole family,
and you know, definitely is about she has been just
the best and very very very like cut like cut
from the same clause as like family, you know, very
straightforward like she's from Poland, so you know, different like

(04:09):
you know, raise differently, yes, right to the point, you know,
and like I appreciate it every I mean, it's better
than having a teacher that just beats around.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
The bush, true, very true.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
What really I think made me stronger learning how to
take the criticism. I mean, that's the first step is
learning how to.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Just know, well, you're you're tough, rooted in south the
Italian girl right right, No, I mean any Spanish family
is Italian family. You know.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
We all are like, this is what it is and
if you don't like it, then you know, yeah, exactly, wow, exactly.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
That's amazing.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
So you just had your blind audition, yes, and in
that moment when you're stepping onto the stage, how do
you not blackout?

Speaker 2 (04:45):
I'm again, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
I honestly, everyone keeps saying like, you know, you might
black out when you get on the stage, and I, honestly,
I do remember everything, yes, And that's what I the
whole you know, blind, all different process, I said, I
just want to like remember everything. I want to be present.
I just want to make sure regardless of what happens,
I just want to make sure that I'm here, I
know what's happening, like this is the coolest thing ever.
So oh my gosh. But I do remember this bits

(05:08):
and pieces that I feel, like, like just showering or something.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
It comes back to me and I'm like, oh my god,
that happened or you know, all that stuff.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
But oh my gosh, it was the nerves I haven't felt,
you know that nervous I don't think I was a child.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
But does that feel you or do you feel more.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Like, oh god, yeah, no, no, no, I feel like
it just it did feel me. It was the coolest,
I mean to just feel. I feel like when you
lose a type of like nervousness or when you lose that,
it's almost just like you might maybe not love the
thing you're doing as much. You know, like it isn't
anything you do, like any activity you're doing or anything
you work so hard for, even if it's a game
or a sport, some sort of sporting thing, right, I

(05:44):
feel like you always will feel a little bit like
cold feet. But it was cool because when you're like
going to on the stage, you know, I saw my parents,
it was really cool to be able to like wave
and just because they.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Were also because that would put me out watching your dad, No,
I would literally start crying back.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
I can't get along.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
My gosh, the emotion surely were oh my gosh, I
was all times when I saw them, a part of
me was like, it's high. Hold those serious, girl, because
it was just like, wow, this is the foreshadowing of
like everything, Like I feel like I was just watching
my life go back sixteen years start right now. Truly,
it was a super like oh my god, this is
actually happened, and this is everything you worked for. And

(06:18):
it's almost like that's why the audition is so important, yeah,
to the artists, because it's like we've worked so hard
and it's like, you know, the preparation and just the
waiting around and the yes or the nose and it's just,
oh my god, it's just it really really really event
so much so.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
I think that's what separates and this could be a
hot take, but I think that's what separates an artists
versus a star, yeah, is not letting those feelings overwhelm
you and like compromise your craft. And I think you
absolutely slay that. I mean, I didn't hear any nervousness
in your voice. You were singing funny to me.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
You're probably like, oh, I hear everyone you know. Even
Snoopy was like, oh she was so cool, like calm, cool, collected.
I'm like, no, no, no, no, don't get me wrong. Here.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
I was dying a little bit inside. I was just
overly nervous but also just super excited. It was a
mixture of everything, the excitement, the emotions that like overwhelmingness
is just like oh my god, just do your best,
you know, like sing it the way you want to
like to sing it, you know, like sing it how
you think like they would want to hear it. And
it's like at the end of the day, it's like,
just sing it how you want it.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
I love it. You absolutely killed that. You I it
was awesome.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
You got this email phone call saying, hey, you're coming
into the live auditions.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Yeah, so basically you just kind of I mean really
not trying to say how the sauce is made, but
the way it's like yeah, but it's like also.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Just like I'm trying to the recipe.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
But literally it's like it's such like a it's just
the waiting game of like hurry up and wait, you know,
just really sit around. But also that's so real, and
that's like so many other like so many things you have,
Like even just when you're waiting for like results on
like you know anything, you're like, wow, okay, let me
just I got I did this on this day. But
now how many more? I mean we've been in this
audition process for I know, a lot of the consistents
can say the same thing. Yeah, but we've all been

(07:48):
in this audition process for a long time. I can imagine,
so it's been keep that secret has to be so difficult.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
The hardest thing I've told my my family, like my
immediate I mean I s my immediate family, but my
immedia fan's like seventy people. Yeah, so no, so literally
I didn't even tell like my grandmother, whom I know not,
who literally is like the most importante of the most people,
like important people to me. Like she's like cries at
the sight of like any type of like singing video
I have, even if it's a video of me, like
in my room, she's crying.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Over So she really didn't know until the show aired.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Rachel, she was so mad, like she literally was like, uh, Roboto,
like what do you mean. I'm like, oh no, no, no,
I'm like, this is what's happened. She like, wait, are
you actually being cause I told her it was an internship.
I felt everyone that it was an internship or like
some sort of like just like cool little job opportunity,
and I mean everyone is wondering, but she was the
one of the main people I didn't even tell, And
I was like, oh my.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
God, she's gonna murder me.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Yeah, outside of being a singer, what is it that
you were doing prior to this? I mean I'm still
you know, doing a little bit of both. You know,
I'm living that double life right now.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Literally literally, I'm like I never thought i'd be here,
but yeah, wedding singing, which I'm still doing, I nanny
waitress sing and you know, gigging on my own yea,
and working at my family's balloon business. Was they showed
a little bit on the shore, Yeah, yeah, but I
was like, oh my god, this is so cool because
that's a place I've been working at, you know, since

(09:11):
I was in diapers.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
And don't you love that they put this into that
was folio for you because it's like sometimes it's hard
for you to take a step back and really see
like how much you're actually doing, and then you realize
it and they have this professionally produced package of your.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Life and it's like, look at it, look at me.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Go And I really hope you have that moment for
yourself where you kind of just like realize, like, I've
worked so hard to get here, Oh my god. And
of course you can give credit to your family, your friend,
your vocal coach, all these people that support you, but
at the end of the day, like you are in
your body, you know, at the end of the.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Day, like I I was the one that had to
be like all right, it's enough, it's enough, Like let's
get serious, let's start cracking down on this. Like you know,
I mean I went to a great college, Berkeley College
of Music. I mean, that's the best college again, so
cool ass experience. I mean, I'm so grateful to have,
you know, And I know I keep saying this with
like parents that support that. You know, I know a
lot of people who just didn't have that opportunity. So
like grounded in this music thing. I mean, I'm just

(09:59):
like doing everything I can. There's no there was no
other option, Like I actually going into this audition, I'm like,
there's no I don't have I don't have a plan
B and I don't want to plan B. Amen, Like
I mean I have you know the wedding band that's
I want to do that. You know, this is like
an the music every job I have, I want to do.
I'm also a hustler growing up in that balloon in
my west Mont party balloon business. Shout out to Westmont
party because has the best EPA. But that's my family,

(10:23):
and you know, we all have been working since we
were like fifteen thirteens. So I was starting at the counter,
I was working in the bag. I'm like doing the balloon.
So I'm like they're like and on the show they
asked like what you know, what job do you do?
And I'm like, I've done it all, you know, like
that kind of thing, and it's like, really, I mean,
you're grounded in the you know, you also look at
your parents and you just learn from them and you're like, okay,
well we we we live to work and we love

(10:45):
you know. So that's why I think. I don't think
I know that singing. That's why it was not easy.
It never was easy. Berkeley in my first year, I
told my mom and my dad was like.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Get me out of here because I think California.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Now it's there's one so Brett's Berkeley, but then that's
I spelled differently. But the one birth the music one
is in Boston, Massachusetts.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Yeah, okay, so not too too far but still some
ways away.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
From still six hours on that seven That ride was
torturous and terrible, but we did it back and forth
going to the Jersey Shore. But yeah, we I am
just feeling solm so and it's it's a good feeling
because it's like, I know, I worked for this, there's enough.
There's been so many moments where I've just been like
I'm done with this, maybe I should just be now

(11:25):
in causetology and you know, and then you're like, you know,
it keeps coming back to me. It never left and
I don't even know what my life would be like
without it.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
And I think I think.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
This this day and age, this day and age, I
think we are blessed with the opportunity to always hold
tight to your passion, even when you do feel thwarted
and you're like this isn't really going anywhere, Like you
post something on TikTok and that one video that you.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Gave like half ass on yeah pops off, and then
you're like, all of a sudden headlining major shows.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Yes, oh my god, No, I saw TikTok. That was
someone posted like if when you ever, whenever you like,
this is how you build your content, Like whenever your page,
whenever you like, get on the app, just post the
video again.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
I saw that.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
But in I'm like, and honestly, I wish I posted
a lot during COVID. I think that's when I wish
I was like really grounded, like doing it, because that's
why we.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
All were sitting home like doing nothing right.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
We all optimized from oh God, I was just we
were dying our hairy pink.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Like what we have.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
I think the same thing for myself too, I'm like,
why didn't I build my podcast up before podcasting became
like the thing, and then you can't beat yourself up
for what you could have done. But now it's all
about moving forward. It's like what are we doing now?
And I mean I feel I mean definitely with the voice.
There's so much to post about. There's just like so
much to post about, so much like not.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
On time, and you're like, do you have someone running
your socials? No, I'm doing my own, Sister, I'm like,
who who wants to do it? Out there? If you
listening to.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
This, I know you love social media, I love that,
but no, I'm doing it all my stuff.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
I think it's nice coming from me personally.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
It's like you know your voice absolutely absolutely, I mean
until you know that point in life where it's like Okay,
maybe that's something I want, but no, I love it
being coming from me personally, because honestly, it is all true.
What I'm feeling is like very like this is real,
like even on the TV, like people are like, was
that something else pre recorded? I'm like, no, no, no, no,
the feelings priorly everything was exactly right before the others.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Yeah, and the whole prerecorded versus live thing.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
I mean, I know, obviously you are going to get
to the point of like the live show, but like
that is happened in real time.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Like for you, it's not like, oh we like cut stop,
Oh I didn't like this? Can we reading this? Like
that's still like ye, they're not doing that copy paste.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
So for you, let's so now we're in your blind audition. Yes,
all four chairs are having their backs towards you. Yes, yeah,
you start singing, Yeah, tell everyone your song out here
on my own. It's not a joke.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
No, it's not.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
No, it's not this is not a drill. No, that
was yeah, and I mean that song. I've never seen
that song live my first time. My mom loves Fame,
you know, that's where the song is originally from. And
it's just so good and it's like, honestly, the song
itself really captures a lot of what I was feeling
on the show, because they're like, you know, what does
the song means to you? I'm like, this song is

(13:58):
what It's what I'm doing.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
Right, it's not come selection.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
When I saw your your audition, I was like, wait
that song because I played Sadie the lunch La, so
you know, I had no lines whatsoever, but I knew
where it was from and I was like, wow, that's
not a common song. And I really at first I
was like what made her pick that?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
So it's very interesting. It has like some heritage too.
I love, I mean, I love.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
I'm a very musical girl, Like I really love a
good musical like probably show, Like really.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
I started doing it.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
I was in like a lot of musical shows plays
I'm with Kennic Catholic. Yeah, you know, that's a very
big arts for sure. And then in grade school I
was kind of originally rooted in that. But that's a
song I never sang, I mean except the like, you know,
the emotion and feeling behind it, I mean, and that
was something too, like tapping into that. But truly, the
song is talking about like I'm out here on my own,
like doing this thing, going out on a limb, like

(14:44):
really risking, like you know, just risking like not my life,
but risking like this talent thing.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Yeah, going out there on a whim.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
And it's like you've become vulnerable truly, And I couldn't
have picked a better song to showcase.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Okay, so maybe I shouldn't ask this, but I'm gonna okay, Okay,
who did you expect or want to turn the chair for?

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (15:02):
So I really really Oh my god. We my parents
and you know, when they were shooting it, we're like, right, anyone,
like any of course, it could have been damn one chair.
I would have been found with that, right. It doesn't
see the chair turns for me never was the thing
that really mattered. I feel like people look at that
and they're like a cross that bed when you come
you got four chairs, Oh my god, and it's like
two three one anything that would have just got me,
you know, to.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
This, Past winners went off of one chair turn yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
Last year's winner one chair, right, And I'm like, go ahead.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Yeah, it doesn't mean it doesn't mean nothing.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
But at the same time, like I know, like me
being someone who is such a fan girl, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
I'm like rebuffs on your freaking right right right.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
No, But I mean starting out, I mean I've always
loved Michael Buble. Oh my god, someone that you know
that's that Christmas album We just Burnt to the ground.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
But I really really love that album.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
So he's like very jazz rooted, and I started doing
little jazz here and there feeling good. It's just an
old song that I've been singing since forever.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
So but and that's.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Someone that I was like, you know, maybe, but I
really didn't think about it. I feel like there was
times where I was just like, I mean these are
all coaches, you know, Nile has also done this kind
of show, so I was like, maybe he would be
a good.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Night There is a strategy behind that.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
No, there is a strategy in all four actual, right,
and his coach has their own forte.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
And then when you see like people who are you know,
when you you're like listening to the people that are like, Okay,
I'm choosing this person this person, it's like who do
I want to choose to do?

Speaker 2 (16:18):
You know, and it's like, oh shoot, I didn't think
about it.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
Like yes, yes, and it's like, should I okay with
this person on this team? Should I go on another team?
And it's like, honestly, the end of the day, I
was just like I'm leaving it up the g o
z Amen, like I'm not gonna like, I'm not gonna
sit here, and just you know, whoever turned, I was
gonna be grateful for that and blessed for that. And
I couldn't even understand. I kind of my excitement was
just it's also hard when they do turn and then
you're just like, all right, let me say the rest

(16:40):
of the song right right, because it's like in a soop,
I think that's.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Where I would lose.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Actually, no, I would be not even as soon as
I saw da, I'd be like, I can't do it,
oh my god.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
But like even your composure in that once everyone turns
is like crazy, oh my god. No.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
But to revert back to your question, Booba, obviously with
someone I was like, but even Snoop, I mean, even Reva,
even Nile, I really can't even say I said all
four of them. I really love Riba, I know is
an icon and the show and everything's just a country
of music.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Is that like I want to why don't I have
a bar after Rebel Broadway? Thank you, Like, let's go,
I'm over this. But no, I definitely, I just I
really had no preference. And that's like such a it's
just a hard question to answer. But no, truly, like
all of them just were awesome. But going into it,
I was like twenty between you know, Stup and Michael Boobla.
But and you know, honestly, it worked out the way

(17:27):
it should have worked out. And spoiler alert, now, yeah,
if you happen do the episode, which it's episode three,
But but no, I mean when it was Steve turning
like a damn second and I was like, holy, First
of all, I was more star struk that he was
looking at me and I was looking at him, and
I'm like, oh my god, I don't even know even
in the moment I pointed to him, I'm like, why
did I do that? In my head like I'm thinking,
I'm like out here on my god, but I'm just

(17:48):
staying in my head, I'm saying, why.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
Didn't I just point this? Sup doll? Oh my god,
that's incredible.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
So when you made that ultimate decision, what was like
the deciding factor for you.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Oh my gosh, well, you know, I mean we have
to you know, there's airtime and there's just a certain
amount of like then as you can be on stage.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Everyone needs their change. I'm sure they told you what
you couldn't like, I.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Just wanted they think.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
I think they all just wanted enough people to have
enough time for them as well. So like, sure we
obviously shortened stuff up, but re Above gave a beautiful
She was just so kind and honestly, like she is cute,
like I just I love her so much, like.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
I wouldn't let go no. I her eyes are like.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
Like a little ocean blue and I'm like she's just
like staring at you from her chair, like the biggest
mile on her face and she just has the biggest blue.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Eyes and You're just like, I love you love you know.
She was the best.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
But you know, Snoop started with saying like and I
don't even know if that's how I'm thinking back, I'm like,
did he say this in like on TV? But no,
surely he was like every artist you've ever wanted to
work with I've worked with, and he's like I'm like
that I'm and honestly, when he said that. I was like, yeah, sure,
I mean it's a full circle moment with that kind
of stuff because you're like, you know, oh my god,
every artist that I mean in his R and B

(18:56):
and soul and all that stuff, and just I'm a
fan of him himself.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
So I was just like, I think people underrate Snoop
dog but also at the same time, no, they don't
because it's Snoop Dogg.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
But like he's like I.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Think, a tour yes, producer, everything, and I think, like
you know who I think also falls into this category.
Unfortunately this is a little off topic, but like he
pain like people like think, oh, like the king of
autoitude to make a thing. No, let's let's put him
on the mass in his vocals. So I think Snoop
is one of those where it's like if you peel
that onion, oh my god.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
You know, he has so many things entrepreneur like, he
has so many things that, oh my god, I can name.
So even like him like owning, like that's where records now.
It's like that's a huge accomplishment for him. Like he's
all over the facey universal like he does just he
just has so many little like he just has so
many things up his sleeve. Yeah, I'm not even they're
not they're not little like they're right, a lot of
cool opportunity so like and I honestly, I mean, I

(19:46):
obviously really love Snoop, but when I when he was
talking to me, I'm like, no, no, no, this is
gonna work, okay, Like I don't know in my mind,
I was thinking not that everybody. And you know, she
started off with saying like this might not be my forte,
but I would do really anything I can, and like,
not that that was even a dig, but I did
BELI believe that. I did believe that she was gonna
do whatever she could too if I chose her, as
you know, so they both you couldn't go wrong.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
That really goes like.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
That literally ultimately comes down to your gut decision. So
I'm glad you trusted your god.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
My god, oh my god.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
I was like, I'm not gonna I'm gonna okay, so
Snoop Snoops to Snoop, I'm like in everyone's screaming like really, Snoop,
and you're right, Oh my gosh, they do you have
an audience in there?

Speaker 2 (20:20):
I forget about that sometimes. Oh that's a whole nother
like level of nerves. Yes, wow, Okay, So.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
I'm not gonna ask because I don't want, like, I
don't want to spoil how the sauce is made, like
you said, But when it comes down to going through,
like you're coaching for the live battles and all that stuff, Yes,
who would you like to see when you walk in
that door helping coach you or mentor you with snoop?

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Oh my goodness, somebody that would throw you.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Oh my gosh, let me think. I feel like I'm
leaning towards Alicia Key Oh is that your vibe? Because
I mean Alicia is just like, yeah, she's amazing Okay,
also was a coach on the show before, so.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
She knows what she's doing. But also like I mean,
I know they've worked together.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
I just feel like she's just so soul, She's so cool, conflicted,
and she's also just real.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Is that someone that you kind of look to in
your tone or more of more of just like her?

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Like, I don't know, I feel like I just I
mean her r and b old arm b everything.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
I just always look to that.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
But like if I ain't got used my jam one
of my favorite wedding songs this day. But she just
is just just real and just like raw and authentically herself.
I can also see myself staying like Kelly Clarkson, because
I mean, my sister and I grew up singing Kelly
Clarkson damn moment like this is my damn favorite song.
Oh my God, winning this show, I would be singing
like how she did on Recon, I'll be saying in

(21:40):
a moment like this, I'll be freaking out on that.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
But you know, both of them, I think that they
I really like, you know, I resort to that, and
I just they both are just real people. They have stories,
they tell their storytellers.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
Yeah, they sing.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
That's a huge thing for me too. It's like, what
are you trying to get out in this song right here?
What do you What the message are you getting across?
And I think that's what something she could they both
could help me with. So I mean, I feel like
that's who I'm leaning towards.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Whoever we have.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
I mean, listen, taking any any pieces of knowledge you
can take from whomever, yes, and carry it with you
no matter where this show, where this life takes you.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
I'm just gonna be excited is and it's any all right.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
So following the voice, let's say, like fast forward, weard manifesting, Right,
you come out on top sis.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
We know that.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
I'm sure she was gonna sign you to this record label.
But I mean, no matter where this show takes you,
what is something that you aspire to do?

Speaker 3 (22:28):
I mean, releasing my own original music is something that
I'm going to do. And I want to release albums EPs.
I want to do all that. And I have so
many people actually that you know, watch the auditions are like.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
Do you any have original music? But I do.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
I have so much, you know coming I'm making like
you know, in the process, I just writing with friends,
you know, just recording demos, having them on the back burner,
so I could just you know, be like, hey go,
you know all the types of stuff. But I did record,
I recorded. I have three singles out. I covered the
recent one I released this year.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Wait, I just saw this one. It was a cover,
right yeah, Bunny Rate Can't Make You Love Me? Oh
my god, that is such a jam. I that's my
like soul song. I love whole body shows.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
Oh my god, thank you so much. No, seriously, I
worked with like awesome people in the area, and you know,
I really was grateful to have that, you know, just
have like the image and just like exactly what I wanted.
It's just like get in the studio, record it, walk
out kind of just like just I did it, and
you know, like being like this is like this is
authentically me. Yeah, and that's something that I want to show,
and that's the music I really want to be like releasing.
I mean, I think my other two singles I have out,

(23:25):
I mean they were written and like produced by my
like good friend Matt at Orgel. He's awesome singer songwriter
from Nashville, originally from New York but no, and definitely
check his stuff out too because he's awesome. But he,
you know, helped me write the songs and he was
just a great, you know, voice behind everything. And since
You've been Gone. It's the first single I ever released.

(23:45):
I mean, it was this very coming up age song.
I feel like it was more of like a reality
check of like damn, like okay, so this is there's
someone in my life that now is in in my
life and it's just a coming up age of being
like okay, I'm an adult, like I am I'm okay,
like I'm you know, once you leave, you know, that
door is closed, like like I'm doing.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Way better now kind of stuff.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
And it's like more of that, like more of that
reality of like you know, and that was college me.
That was college and Talia and right happy ending same thing,
like we had like a beautiful duet thing happening, and
that was like country pop. And that's why I'm saying, like,
as an artist that I am, I like that I
keep it versatile.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
I like keeping you know, pop R and B is me.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Well look at look at artists nowadays, they're all doing
cross I mean that's just a prime example of Yep.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
That's like what I love that.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
I love how she she will make any song her own,
but like with a country or you know, R and
B field, whatever it is. And that's what I That's
what my music I want, you know, to be bringing
to the table.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
And someone here's the music.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Well listen maybe maybe if and when Kelly Clarkson is
that mentor you listen sis we have a song with
the same Yeah, that's.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
What I know.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
Everyone's like Kelly Clarkson's I'm like, no, definitely mind that's
how I ever seen it.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
I know, I know, rights so excited for you. I
say we because I'm sure there's a community out there
far beyond myself, but selfishly, like just having a familiar
face on such a well recognized show, I'll cry, Oh
my god.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
No, we are so excited for you. Thank you so much.
We're representing our Cherry Hill girlies, our South Bhilly, You're
all over girls.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
So we just want to thank you so much for
coming back to Oh my goodness, and Philly, thank you
for having me so.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
I mean, I've listened, you know. I'm like, I'm like,
there's not a racial car driving. Don't forget the little
people out here. Yeah, I'm not going anywhere. Last question
I will ask you is how can people vote?

Speaker 1 (25:28):
How can people make sure that they are tuned in
and making sure that your voices are heard?

Speaker 3 (25:31):
Oh my god, weak two week you know, stay tuned.
I'll be posting about it a few hundred times social media.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
Drop the access. Yeah, Sally Albertini underscore, And you don't
want to make this teeny like we need to have
a watch party with like some like variation of.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Snoop teeny or like like this is our next This.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Is the thing.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
I mean, just stay you know, on the social I mean,
my tag my, my handles, Hi Avertine underscore. So but
stay tuned for that because honestly, I'm I hope that
you know, the show brings such cool, cool things, and
you know, I'm just feeling and so excited for the
you know, the battle round and that's what's coming next.
So we're just gonna do battles, not because we're gonna
just do it and then however that plays out, we

(26:09):
will work on the voting and you know, go from there.
But you know, stay tuned, and because i mean, this
season is like insanely talented, Like I actually like, I'm like,
I'm just happy that in friends of all these people,
I'm like, these people are really just really.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
Keep that network tight. Girl.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Oh my god, if I'm not stressed out enough about
Red October, now you got you're stressing about you.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
We love you and thank you so much for coming home,
thank you for having me. I'm home
