Toby and Chilly Mornings on demand on ninety seven point
one Wash Up Out.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Toby and Chilly in the morning.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Feeling good before five o'clock here at ninety seven point
one wash FM. And I'll say why, and I don't
and I know that this is not the case everywhere,
but there were no thunderstorms last night where I live.
And normally I like a good thunderstorm because that's just
really nature's white noise is great for stuff.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
It's been scientifically proven.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
And the fact that there were not thunderstorms last night
through the overnight is a good thing. And the reason
why is because I have no idea whether or not
I would have had power at some point in time
during the night, and when you lose power, it resets
everything like alarms and clocks and all of this stuff.

(00:46):
So the fact that there was no thunderstorm why I
live in Rockville at least, yeah, is a good thing.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
And that's why I'm feeling good before five this morning.
Go ahead.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
I don't know if we had any uh in tysons
after I went to bed. I do know they're calling
for more storm this evening, pretty severe ones and we're
likely happening this evening.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Allegedly they said that yesterday. That's why I was all
excited about it. I thought that it was going to
happen then.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
No, I was hoping it would get out of the
way before time for sleep. Now, with our luck, it'll
happen tonight in the middle of the night. There'll be
power outages and things will get a little weird. And
that's never fun when you wake up in the morning
and you're like, wait a minute, what I know.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
No, No, it's great, No, it's true.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
So here we go on the twenty ninth day of August.
It's ninety seven point one was CHEFM. We're coming up
in a few minutes.

Speaker 1 (01:35):

just couldn't stop laughing.

And if you've got one right now that comes to mind,
feel free to call and jump into the conversation before
we even have it.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Why not.

Speaker 3 (01:48):

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
And my husband still brings it up to this day.
We were a Great Wolf Lodge last year and he
was in the Lazy River and the inner tube he
went on flipped backwards, which it's.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Slow motion, and I know that I know that it
caught him.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Off guard, but seeing him crash backwards into the water,
it's one of those things where you're laughing and saying,
are you okay?

Speaker 3 (02:44):
You're laughing and crying at the same time, what about you?
Back when I was a bigger individual, I ripped the
crotch out of my suit pants at the Beverly Hilton.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Oh no, And there was no covering it up.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Thank god, I had a jacket on, because the jacket
obscured the fact that I had a giant l rip
down there near the nether bit?

Speaker 4 (03:07):
Was it other people inappropriately laughing?

Speaker 5 (03:09):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Yeah, they were laughing because they knew what was going on.
They're like, why are you holding your jacket like that?
I'm like, why do you think I'm holding my jacket
like that? You don't need to see the boxer briefs. Oh,
you had to be there at the time to understand
the humor. Leslie Rockville, you're on two seventy. You started laughing.
You couldn't stop.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
What happened?

Speaker 6 (03:30):
We were in high school when we were in the
middle of a test and we had like this really
strict teacher where she didn't let you talk. You know,
she never cracked jokes.

Speaker 7 (03:37):
She was like real serious type teacher.

Speaker 6 (03:39):
All of a sudden, somebody passed gass and we just all.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
Burst out laughing. We don't know if it was a
teacher or not, but her face turned feet red.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
And she just quiet quiet.

Speaker 7 (03:49):
We just all burst out laughing, and she got mad
because we started laughing in the middle.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Of a test.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
So well, parts are funny.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Indeed, they call it childish humor for reason. Melissa Charlington,
what happened?

Speaker 7 (04:02):
It was years ago. We were traveling. My mom was driving,
my sister was in the front seat, my grandmother was
in the back seat. Started feeling a little queasy in
the backseat. She proceeds to trade places with my sister.
As we're going down the interstate. She ends up with
her head in the floorboard. She starts passing bath, she
starts wedding herself, and then she throws up and we

(04:24):
are all laughing so hard. My mom had to pull
off the side of the road, and we felt so
sorry for her, but we couldn't stop laughing.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Oh no, that would have been a mess to clean up,
and the stink of it.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Oh Actually, why am I detecting a theme with these situations?
They all have to do with bodily functions. What is
it to make bodily functions so funny?

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Well, they're funny.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
If it's not you that I'm meaning.

We go to Laurel for this one.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Yeah, D went on a first date a concert in
a totally different country.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
Wait till you hear about that.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
Day and talk about reinventions. When it comes to first
date's domus.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
It's Toby and Chilly's crazy first date in Laurel D.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
What happened?

Speaker 6 (17:51):
We went to Texas and I visited a friend who
I had known over the years, just casually, and we
go to breakfast that turned into lunch and he literally
he had a flight to catch a few hours later,
and he goes what would happen if I shot my shot?
And I'm like, wait, is this the real thing? So
that conversation evolved into him saying his favorite artist is
going to be performing in Cape Town in a few

(18:13):
days and he would love for us to go to
the concert together. So I pulled up flight information on
my phone. I'm like, are we really going to do this?
It seems kind of silly. We're one or two drinks
in and he's like yeah, and so I leave my phone.
I go to back and I'm like, if I come back,
and the tickets like already purchased, we're going to go,
And so I come back and he pushed the information
on the phone. Ticket was purchased. So four days later

(18:33):
I got on a flight to go to South Africa.
On the way, one of the plane the connecting flights
left me. It was a mess, but I got there
just in time the next day for the concert. So
we went and had a great time and the best
first take so far.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Please tell me it ended happily and that maybe you
saw each other again.

Speaker 6 (18:54):
Well, I stayed with him like the whole time while
I was there, So we saw each other for the
next three to four days. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:00):
All.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
We went fight seeing, we went to dinner, We did
a bunch of things.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
Yes, I've heard there's a lot of things to do
in South Africa, but that's more than just shooting one shot.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
That's like throwing a hail mary pass. Did you think
that he had lost his mind when he brought that up?

Speaker 6 (19:13):
Originally in the moment, I did, because I didn't expect
this date to turn into that. I didn't even think
it was a date. We were just having breakfast. So
in that first moment I was again. Then I said
why not? Actually, what would be the reason not to
do this?

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Well, it sounds like the beginning of a great love story.
What happened after that trip he did?

Speaker 6 (19:31):
We kept in contact. We were dating, I guess long
distance dating. It was new, it was fresh, but after
some months it didn't end up working out.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
No more distance shows up. I mean, it's one thing
to fly to South Africa, it's another thing to have
a long distance relationship when you're here in the DMB.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
And he's in used to the dudes in Tahas.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Yeah, man, And that was like the bar that you
guys set with the first date.

Speaker 6 (19:57):
You can't come back from that.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
What is the next guy going to have to do
take you on on around the world cruise.

Speaker 6 (20:02):
At this point, let's just start with a nice date
right here, like Potomac or Alexandria or something like that,
and go from there.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
How about maybe a different concert not in South Africa
but at Capitol One Arena to go see justin Timberlake.

Speaker 6 (20:18):
That will make my.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Well.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
Congratulations, the tickets are yours thanks to Live Nation. Thank you,
