George Mason University, there was abar across the street called Mugs, and
I'd gone across with my girlfriend andwe were sitting at the bar and these
two guys came in and they satdown beside her, and his friend sat

he was tall and good looking,but he had those old black framed glasses
on and had his teasing her andwhisper and his six four eyed friend who's
a four eyed friend, and thenthey started like tossing peanuts over to me
to get my attention, and Iwas kind of ignoring them, and then
my girlfriend went to the bathroom andhe scowed it over to her chair and

was talking to me. And sothe night went on and we were getting
along and we were getting up todance, and then it was time to
go, and I got in mycar and my girlfriend was following me,
but he jumped in the front seatand threw his keys to his buddy and
told his buddy to follow us,and the whole drive down the highway and

all this crazy guy is staring atme. I can feel him while I'm
driving, and he's saying, I'mgoing to marry you. So I was
like, what have I done?Who is this? And so let me
get to my house. My mom'sawake. I'm like, yeah, mom,
these are friends from college. Andthey stayed, you know, until
like two in the morning, andthen we all went our way for the

next day. Showed up at mywork and I must have told him where
I worked in the time I wasgoing to work and his buddy went to
my friend's work, and so theydate it just a couple of months.
But him and I we date ittwo and a half years, and we
were married for fourteen years. Butwhen were longer married, he was telling

the truth. I guess, Darrenat you while you were driving that he
was going to marry you. Yeah, there was a long relationship and we
have two beautiful sons. Done thedeal. Question, why didn't you call
the cops because the dude just kindof like, you know, hopped into
your car. I mean, that'sthat's a little presumptuous and somewhat creepy.
Yeah, I don't know. Iwas so trusting. I mean, he
was a very friendly and seemed likea good guy, and we just had
