was working one night and my sister, who was engaged, called me and
asked me if I wanted to goon a blind date with the guy who
was going to be the best manin their wedding. I was going to

date after work and i'd probably belate. So she kept on me,
saying that I was going to walkdown the aisle with this guy, so
I needed to meet it. Well, finally I said yes, just to
get her off my back. Now, this was a week before I was
to start my senior year in highschool, so all summer long I had

bleached my hair really blond, andmy dad told me it was too blind,
so I had gone to the localdrug store and bought some cheap brown
hair dye and darkened it. Thenext day, the two guys arrived at
our door and I met Doug lookque best man. We were taking a
day trip to Ocean City, well, we went to the beach and we

decided to get in the water.After a while, we got out and
I laid down on the beach towelwhile my hair started dripping brown all over
the towel. I had been wearingthat scara which was running all down my
face. Oh wow. So hetold me later that I was melting right
in front of him, that hestarted his date with a brunette and he

ended it with a blob. Ohmy goodness. To make matters worse,
I had a head cold and Ihad to spray my nose every couple of
hours. So there was really nothingsexy about that date up until that point,
right, Yeah, this kind ofsealed the deal, right, So
yeah, We're driving down Route fiftyand I'm spraying my nose. Yeah,
So, I mean, how manyways can you botch a blind date?

So anyway, the next day heactually called, he kind of botched it.
When my dad answered, he askedif Tony was there. My name
is Jeannie, so my dad saidJoni who And then he had my last
