Felicia's date disappeared as fast as he arrived.

It's Toby and Chilly crazy first date. How Felicia, Hi, how are
you? Oh? Hey, Felicia. I love it. I bet you've
ever heard that before in Arnold,Maryland? Have you? I have not,
so that's why I'm loving that.Thank you so much. So we
hear You've got a crazy first datestory for us. Tell us everything,
take us on this adventure. Itbegins the summer of nineteen eighty eight.

It was a summer after my freshmanyear of college. Was home, you
know, doing the summer job thing. The girls and I were going out.
Was supposed to be girls night only, but the best friend had to
bring her new boyfriend, so youknow, the rest of us were you
chat behind his back. But wego to a Pennsylvania we called him a
church bazaar. It was a festival. I had a rock band in it.

So we were there and luckily shebrought her boyfriend at the time because
this other gentleman came up that theygrew up together, and it ended up
that we were We hit it off. We bonded over him singing the Doors
roadhouse blues Wow in my ear.So I've loved the Doors for many years.

So that was an indication that knewmaybe things will go pretty well.
We hang out that day, weend up changing numbers. The next day,
I'm waiting around for him to call, waiting around for him to call.
The Friday night, by the way, finally he calls, and I
learned that he afterwards that he calledbecause his best friend said, well,
her name is Felicia, you haveto call her. So we went out

that night. We went to gosee Bull Durham, which was a very
interesting film. If you've ever seenit on your first date, it's a
little awkward at some points. Sure. Then we went and played pool,
and we met up with a couplethat kind of got us together. And
then I found out he was inthe navy. He was hung on leave.

He was on a two week leave, and I caught him on the
very last weekend. He was goingto San Diego to marrymar for some schooling.
So we met on a Friday.We had our first date Saturday,
probably stayed out till one in themorning, and then he left. On
Sunday. He visited my house andgave me that little white sailor hat,

and then we became penthal and Iwent back to college. He went to
myrmar and then over the next fiveyears we fell in love, got married.
We've been married twenty eight years.Last May, oh wow, well,
congratulations on twenty eight years of whathad bliss Felicia. When did he

actually get to the point where hepopped the question? Christmas Even ninety two
he proposed a long distance love storythat worked out. I love it,
Oh, thank you, thank you. We got married two years after that,
in ninety five. As I said, twenty eight years. Two kids
now both you know, young adults. We did it ninety seven twenty one
at them with Toby and Chilly inthe morning.
