Speaker 1 (00:04):
A Huddle is a production of the NFL in partnership
with iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
This was.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
You never know what you're gonna get when you jump
into the stands. We'll talk about that a little later.
Welcome and everybody to the Ana Huddle Podcast.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I am along with Will Hey Hey Will Happy Thric.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Three, Happy Trickle three.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
It's funny every time I hear AKO three, I think
of my grandmother saying that, or my mom saying that.
There's just something about not being able to finish it
and spelling it t R I c O t r I.
I believe how it would be the correct spelling.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
There was a viral but of this Dominican mom putting
putting a sign on her toy that said, no, I
ain't got no candy, get out of here.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Hilarious. I was like, is that my auntie? Is that
what he does? It might be? By the way, what
are what are the kids going to be for Halloween?

Speaker 2 (01:23):
So my son decided to be Swaga Claus. So he
literally like Santa Claus.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
He's got the chains, he's got the rings, He's got
this silver briefcase with a dollar sign on it. He's
wearing his sunglasses and a black bucket hat.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
He had been talking.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
About this for weeks, so this was his particular idea.
And then my daughter is Spider Girl and school parade.
She didn't want to wear the actual mask for the
Spider Girl over eyes because she was saying it's too hot.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
It's also eight degrees exactly.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Exactly, so she's, no, I'm not about that, and she's like, yeah,
it's uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
So either way, that's what they're going to be.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
So it's going to be a long night, but it's
going to be a fun night and one that they've
been looking forward to. I know you have been looking
forward to it. You and in particular are Gal Joy,
who's massive into Halloween and what it means and all
the outfits.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, bestie Joy Taylor pretty much the only reason I
get into Halloween at all. She of course goes all out.
If you haven't seen it, go to her Instagram. Her
Halloween party on Saturday was one for the books. I
dressed up as Cruela Deville, look brought I brought the dog.
I rocked Gunny with me. Of course, not a lot
was he scared.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Was he like just around people or no?

Speaker 3 (02:47):
That makes my sense to you?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
He is if this doesn't solidify that he is a
Latino child, a Latino dog.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
My boy took a whole nap in the middle of
the party.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
And if you know, yes, if you find.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
The room when I grew up in New York, you
found the room with all the coats, all the purses,
and there were random children just laying down sleeping.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Loud music didn't matter in the middle of the party.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
And the coach are like little mangers.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I know you feel like yes all the time, and
it was like every weekend. But yes, Gunny was a trooper.
There was a He was the star of the show
outside of Joy of course, because her Medusa costume was everything.
But I so my Halloween thing is what do I
have in my closet that can work as a costume? Yes,

(03:33):
so I had that like half black, half white blazer.
My husband spotted a wig at like a little costume
shop and we were like, wait a minute, this is perfect.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
This works.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
So Corolla Deville came together literally hours hours before the
party tonight. A whole collective of us are going to
be the Spice Girls and I am, of course, my
costume is en root as we speak, So pray for
me all. I hope it gets here on time so
that I don't let down the whole group.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
But I have to hair right.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Yes, something in my house that I can put together,
like there are items here that will work for this.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
That's that's my whole thing. Are you dressing up with
the kids?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
By the way, I am not going to be dressing up.
Come on, I'm not.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
I there's a party that we are invited to. It's
more for the kids. But I may have to dress up.
And if that's the case, then I can cobble together costume.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Like Clark Kent.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
That's one I I was not as a kid. Yeah, yeah,
so I think that's an easy one. Random but true.
I interviewed Sporty Spice. Yes, it was pretty cool because
she was very down to earth and I remember she
was playing in concert in San Francisco. She also had

(04:47):
a new album of some kind out and interviewed her
on the tour bus.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Couldn't have been nicer.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
So random, random, little fast, your pretty Yeah, I love that.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
I love that for you.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
In some scary moments throughout the NFL this week, another
another keep you on the edge of your seat type
of slate of games, especially on Sunday, and then of
course today the trade deadline. Yeah, here not knowing where
you're gonna end up, or what's going to happen, or
what moves your team is.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Going to make.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
Yeah, we were anticipating this. Who was going to move,
who was going to stay? How real were the rumors?
This is the time where you have to be really
careful about taking a tweet on x whatever as being
real because there's a lot of fake accounts out there,
with a lot of things being thrown out there. But

(05:44):
there have been some major moves, and one of them
happens between the forty nine Ers and the Commanders, and
this was massive because it helps out the forty nine
Ers in a big way, and the Commanders get draft
capital back. The forty nine Ers now get Nick Bosa's
Ohio State teammate, I mean, Chase Young, and the forty

(06:07):
nine Ers give up a third round pick, which is
a great deal I believe for both teams.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
What was your initial reaction to this move?

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Just yesterday I was on CAMBR Radio over up in
the Bay Area. Yes, exciting, Yes, I love those guys
talking about what's going on. Right, I told everyone collectively,
let's just take a deep breath in, deep breath out. Yes,
they've lost three in a row. Nobody, you know, throw
out the flags. I know that there's implications later on
for the one seed all of that stuff. Let's focus

(06:39):
on the now, right because I still think this is
one of the strongest teams, one of the scariest teams
certainly in the league. And if your team is going
to have a skid, better to have it now than
in the season as you're pushing towards the postseason.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Thankfully.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Also for the forty nine ers, not only has our
quarterback been banged up and it showed on the field
because it's not the Brock party that we've been accustomed to,
but it's also a Brock Pirty that's still a young
quarterback in this league. He's only had on like a
dozen starts in this league, like he was going to
have that come to earth moment. And again, better to
have it now. As far as their defense, even though

(07:15):
we saw Eric Armstead get to Joe Burrow and we've
seen Nickosa getting pressures, the stats aren't coming up there,
and I get it. We expect high level of execution
from this defense. Best defense is if not the best
defense in the league, and they have not been playing
to that level. But Shanahan said it best after the game.
I think they need to sit through this by week

(07:36):
and get angry and be upset at themselves at how
they've been playing.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
And now, when.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
You Lynch was gonna do a little something, they bring
in young Chase Young, who we really haven't seen to
that full form since his rookie season. I think this
is great for both of them. I think Chase fits
perfectly with what they're doing in San Francisco, and I
think right now, for whatever reason, the Niners needed that
little jolt. I would be scared if you're facing them after.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
This, by yeah, really scared.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
They also have Ranny Gregory as well, trying to get
guys in the mix. Their defense has left a lot
to be desired. Part of it has to do with
the fact they have a new defensive coordinator who's had
to come in in Steve Wilts and hasn't necessarily been
able to bring his own schemes. Kind of has to
work with the philosophy that's in place there. There's certainly

(08:22):
an adjustment, but I think people want the adjustment to
go a little bit more smoother, and now the discussion
becomes does he stay upstairs or does he go down
onto the field. We'll see if they make some adjustments there,
but I do think Chase Young is a massive move
for them. I would think that they would try to
maybe get a cornerback as well, because part of the

(08:43):
problem is they haven't been able to get the pressure
that they've gotten in weeks and games and years past.
So as a result, that leaves the secondary very vulnerable,
as we saw against the Bengals. So I think their
CSD seat that one of four teams on a CSD
seat that I think is definitely going to help them out.
I think in the division, the Seahawks got a.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Lot of Hawks and a first place.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Team, right they make a major move, I thought up
to this point as of this recording, I thought the
Leonard Williams move was the biggest one that we saw
because I think that only helps out the Seahawks who
are in first place. They've got a good young defense,
They've got Devine Witherspoon, they've got Tarik Woollen, they've got

(09:31):
Bobby Wagner's leadership there. They gritted out a performance against
the Browns and now looking ahead. They're going to have
a big game against the Ravens, and the Ravens rejuvenated,
they found their offensive mojo. Although, yes, although it wasn't

(09:51):
as great as they would have liked it in Week eight,
but that is going to be a great game. And
Leonard Williams I think only helps out forty sacks. This
guy will make a difference, and I think he's going
to fit in easily and seamlessly into that defense.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
That's the trade deadline.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
That was the spooky figure that was looming over everybody
in its tier.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
And we've seen some big things.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
We saw Monteswa to the Bears as well, and Josh
Jobbs to the Vikings. All Right, you guys, chew on
that along with your snickers and hopefully not your candy corn.
Don't be gross, don't eat that.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Stop it? Ah, Why this again seasonal thing?

Speaker 1 (10:27):
It's a kid No, it is a garnish at best.
It's not it's not edible.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
All right.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
On the other side of the break, we do have
a guest coming up, will a.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Good one at that.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
We are talking with running back, former running back, but
he wants to be current running back Adrian Peterson. He
also just started on Dancing with the Stars. We'll talk
to him about his desire to continue playing, if that's plausible,
and what he thought about being voted off on Dancing
with the Stars.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
That's coming up on the huddle with me my pre
momentary historical Betsy.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Monday night, he.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
Said, god by a, hey the job, Washington wrote.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
I seen Colonos and Peter something less call me up with.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
Sims aybe. I don't know how much Spanish, you know,
but they throw a little saved.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
Yeah, I say you were sixty five years old, still
getting it done.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
And that was on Monday night football for Washington.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
What was going through your mind when you heard this
call in Spanish?

Speaker 6 (11:58):
You know, I think I remember what the thirty six
year old takes it distance, But uh, I was just like,
you know what, let me get there, let me get
to the end zone.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Period, And that's all. We're so excited to have you here.
And we've been hearing rumblings that you are looking at
a comeback to the NFL, so we want to hear
it directly from you. What's going on right now and
what are you thinking? What's the process been like so far?

Speaker 6 (12:24):
Yeah? You know, so I've just been kind of laying
back and you know, working out and enjoying my family
and and hopes to get a call. You know, I
know playoffs time is starting to come around, so it's
that prime time for guys to be like, you know what, hey,
just bring on a veteran guy that can come in
and be productive or it and they can come in

(12:46):
and you know, help out with these young guys as well.
So you know, that's that's what I'm hoping.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
For, Adrian.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
What gives you the belief that you have what it
takes to still compete at a very high level right now.

Speaker 6 (13:01):
You know, when I'll see him, I can watch the game,
you know, various teams. I'm like, man, you know, like
I can be way more productive than this guy or
that guy. And not only that, just my mindset and
the ability that I know I still have. I know
I still possess the ability to play on the NFL
level at a high level at that so you know,

(13:22):
with that, I know I can get in to an
NFL game, you know, several games and be productive and
help a team, you know, be able to move the change.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
We see so much and we talk so much about
the evolution of the game but especially when we talk
about the running back position, right, because you see the
newer guys now are almost hybrids, right. They want a
pass catching guy out of the backfield, but they want
someone who's really physical. I mean, look at the Christian mccaffreys,
the Rahem Moster, who's a track star. When you look
at the game and the evolution not just from your

(13:54):
time on the field, but what you see now from
this next generation of running backs, how do you see
that evolution going?

Speaker 6 (14:00):
Yeah, I see as moving, you know, right along the lines.
As you said, you're getting more guys that are more versatile,
you know, more like they're really bush you know style
type back and you really in't steal it, ain't you know,
Marshall fall. You know, it was just back in the day,
it was just a few guys that were like that.
Now you're just starting to see there's so many guys

(14:21):
out there that's being more versatile, that are using in
the run game and being able to spread guys out
as well. And you know, I love it. I love it.
But the one thing that stays true is you need
a guy that's gonna put his nose, you know, put
his head down and put his nose up in there,
and a guy that I like is McCaffrey. He does

(14:41):
it's a really good doing that. You know, not only
is he versatile, you can throw the ball to him,
get him out and screen lot of them up, a
lot of them out wide. He's also coming downhill and
he's hitting that whole. That whole is really hard, you know,
So that he's been he's been impressing me with the
way he's been playing. I've been really impressed.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
What team makes the most sense for you or maybe
the team that you want to play for.

Speaker 6 (15:08):
What team makes the most sense? Philadelphia?

Speaker 4 (15:11):
Okay, casual, Yeah, okay, Philadelphia.

Speaker 6 (15:15):
Why you know, they've always been that that greedy, that
that team that's like it's just rough, you know, offensively, defensively,
they're grindy, you know, they they're grinding in a sense
as far as their play right, hard nosed teams. So

(15:35):
I've always had like a lot of respect for him.
And you know, they don't get me wrong, Swift, he's
he's doing a great job down there, and they got
some good backs down there. But sometimes you need that
Bill Carroll that can just you know, just really softening
up the defense, you know, So I feel like me
being brought into that situation could be beneficial as well,

(15:56):
to loosen things for those other you know backs as well.
You know, I grew up a Cowboys fan, you know, so,
you know, always being here in Texas something has been
an ideal of my plan for the Cowboys. And you know,
worst case scenario. Well, I'm not gonna say worst case
scenario because the one thing, the one thing I've enjoyed

(16:19):
is being home, you know, so being here in Texas
and Texas playing for the Texans, you know that wouldn't
be all right?

Speaker 3 (16:28):
We got three?

Speaker 4 (16:29):
We got yeah, Well, Adrian, but if you if you
heard Jerry Jones say we we really want to bring
you to the Cowboys, Adrian.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
We think you'd be a great fit.

Speaker 6 (16:40):
What would be a reaction, Hey, Jerry, I'm on the
way man.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
You set him up perfectly. Any excuses to that, Jerry Jones, impressure,
We love it. Well, it's too good.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
All you said, You've been obviously working out, staying in shape.
No better workout than dancing. Ap You don't know this,
but my dream in life is to be on Dancing
with the Starts. So I'm going to live by cariously
through she.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Could do it though, Adrian, she could do it. She's
a legitmate.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Should and Britt your partner is one of like my
favorite pros on there. Talk to me about the experience,
how they approached you, and what it was like actually
being on the show.

Speaker 6 (17:19):
Yeah, it was an incredible experience, man, like once in
a lifetime type of experience. I didn't really know what
to expect going to it, and I knew it was
gonna be difficult, That's one thing I knew for sure.
It was something totally different outside my ram, something I
had never done before outside of dancing around the house.

(17:41):
And you know in college you dancing a little bit,
but it's a totally different dance. You know, danced in
the vin these walks.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
In question, you know, like Juggie, not quite the same
as you.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
So actually that came to me like years ago when
I was with the Vikings and I was honestly, I
was scared. I don't want to do I don't want
to do that, you know. Uh. And then I had
the excuse because I was playing football, right but now
you know I had been. Now I'm just like, man,
you know, they came back and circle back around. They
was like, hey, if you're interested, you know, we would
love to have you on. And for me, I'm just like, man,

(18:18):
this is gonna this can help get my my juices flowing,
you know, and my my comparative juices as well. So
I'm you know, I am braced. I was like, you
know what, let me get out of my comfort zone
and I'm gonna do something different. And but Brit Stewart Man,
when I tell you, she is an incredible, incredible dancer
and an awesome teacher. She did a great job, you know,

(18:40):
working with me. Now, the first week I felt like
was for me, it was the most difficult performance because
I had flips and had lifts, lifts and stuff like that.
So yeah, more so nervous on like you got to
make sure I execute, I don't drop, you know. Yeah.
But after that, that's when it really really got hard

(19:03):
because now you perform on Tuesday live, right, and then
I'm flying back to Houston on Wednesday and we have rehearsals,
and then I fly back out to LA on Sunday
and I gotta perform again on Tuesday. So it was
just like bam, Yeah, I got resemble in you know,
four or five days. I learned the quit step in

(19:23):
four or five days, you know, like the Vimonese. Watch
I gotta learn this really really fast entire routine. And
with brit she like, and I just what I love
about her? She like you you watch it and you'll
see some couples out there, you'll be like, ah, the
pro dancer pretty much just dance around, right, celebrity b

(19:44):
She she wasn't about that, And that's what I loved
about her. She wanted me to be engaged. She really
wanted me to learn and perform what they were asking
of us. You know, so our routines were really difficult.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
Well, the whole training looks like it's grueling.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
How did it compare to say that roughest, hardest that
you played for?

Speaker 6 (20:09):
You know, it's it's kind of it's kind of hard.
Compared it to say, for instance, a New Orleans training camp.
You know where you out there in New Orleans and
it's hot and it's brutal. But as far as like mental,
it was the hardest thing I've.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
Done, really next really the hardest thing.

Speaker 6 (20:27):
Yeah, seriously, because like mentally, you have to be into,
you have to be locked in, and then you're learning
an entire routine, and not only that, you have to
be precise and football. When I lined up, if it
was the inside zone and outside zone who are reading
the blitz, you know, I can take a false step
and bam, make up for it and get back to
where I needed to be. Or you know, I can

(20:50):
get I can get through that a gap. I can
press the a gap and jump backside because it's open,
you know, and dance you can't. There's no false steps.
You know, one false step and the routine is really
abatage and you can kind of catch back up. But
it's something when you got professionals and you got judges

(21:11):
that are looking at those things like they noticed that
and they score the score you off that. So just
really being you know, technique sound fundamentally sound and like
having the you know, the capability to remember everything you
know and be precise and bam move and now you
got to extend that that hand to get the length

(21:31):
and you know that they're looking for. It was so detailed.
It was really really difficult, but it was fun. And
each week, each week I just kind of kept embracing it,
and you know, it surprised me because I'm just like wow,
like I'm really, I'm really doing it like I'm really,
I've really learned these dances and it was fun. It

(21:52):
was a great experience, great, great experience.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
My little dancer heart is so happy right now to
hear you said. I'm like, yeah, it's.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Finally some respect for the community. But you join quite
like there spend over two dozen NFL players who have
done this show, including Vernon Davis, Donald Driver, Doug Flutie, Michael.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
Irvin, Rashad Jennings, Calvin Johnson, Keyshawn Johnson.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Jakobe Jones, Ray Lewis, I Mean, Von Miller, Josh Norman,
t O, Jerry Rice, and the list goes on and on,
Jason Taylor, Kurtworld, Buddy, Kurt Warner, DeMarcus where it is
just like several have won. Three of them have won,
Emi Smith and Heinz Ward. So it's just, you know,
there is such a sort of an overlap here with

(22:37):
you guys. For some reason, NFL guys do really really
well with the stars. But do you think that running
backs in particular make the best dancers.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
Well, name is Smith, you know kind of stamped there
for us because watching some of his his videos. Yeah, yeah,
he was really really smooth man, like did really really
good with with his performance. You know, it's the viminies

(23:09):
wats when needed that vin these watts. His performance to
that was amazing. I think I think he did the
sausa as well. He just really performed really well. Obviously
he won, so he did. He did an incredible job.
But you know, don't get me wrong, there's been other
guys that done that have performed really well. Some of
the receivers also. But I feel like the running backs,

(23:31):
you know, we're bridges so agile. You know, normally we
are the most competitive guys on the field, you know,
the most toughest. You know, were tougher than everyone. We
just got that grid about us because of the position
that we play. You know, we're able to be well coached.
We're able to take coaching, you know, and bam and
you know, show up on the on the ball on

(23:52):
floor in this case and just you know, make those adjustments,
you know, and when it's time to shine and you
get out there, you perform well.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
Adrian, before before we let you go, rapid fire questions
because obviously you're name is all day, so you tell
us all day or no way, I'll throw out topic
and you tell me what you think.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
All right?

Speaker 4 (24:14):
First topic, All Day no Way, Candy Corn all Day.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
There you going, m J there you go?

Speaker 4 (24:25):
Okay, all day no Way, Travis Kelcey and Taylor Swift.
Oh okay, so you're a fan, right so far?

Speaker 2 (24:37):
Okay? Uh, the Gritty all day no Way.

Speaker 6 (24:42):
All day?

Speaker 2 (24:48):
Okay, all right, I love these takes. He's all in
Uh text Mex all day, no.

Speaker 6 (24:54):
Way, no way?

Speaker 2 (24:56):
Really why I love auth Yeah, okay, all right.

Speaker 4 (25:07):
Finally the Barbie movie All Day, no Way, no Way?

Speaker 3 (25:14):
What podcast?

Speaker 6 (25:16):
Why some way? I'll say that some way because of
my daughters, right.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Okay, alright, no Mojo Dojo costa houses around.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Here, you know, you know, well a lot of all
days there.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
Hey, Adrian, this has been a terrific experience. Enjoy talking
to you. Please come back and visit us again. Good
luck moving forward. We hope you get the call. If
it doesn't, boy, you've had an incredible decorated career on
the football field.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Which I think leads you're right to canon Ohio.

Speaker 4 (25:49):
So, Adrian Peterson, thank you so much for joining us
here on the Aheat of podcast.

Speaker 6 (25:53):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 7 (26:02):
See please think go brilliant Egan, he lost combo.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
How about that?

Speaker 4 (26:23):
That's how it sounded between the Cowboys and the Rams.
Complete and total domination there. And this leads us now
to the best part of the program, at least one
of them. I think, in my opinion, that.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
Would be Berro Macho. Let's go, because we just.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
Saw Drown Bland and what he has done, and Drown Bland,
I think he's an easy one for me. Do you
realize MJ He leads the league and picks sixes with
three he has four interceptions. This is exactly what this

(27:02):
defense needed, especially with Diggs being out for the year,
and they looked they looked like a Cowboys team that
could reach their potential if they have their offense and
their defense clicking.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
So I think that is a massive one.

Speaker 4 (27:20):
Also massive to consider the Cowboys and Bland, They're going
to be tested by the Eagles and AJ Brown who
has just gone off and completely bonkers. So that's going
to be a fun divisional matchup that we're going to see.
So my guy, drum Bland, he's one of the perro MACHOs.
Another Perro Macho mine is pass rusher Trey Hendrickson of

(27:43):
the Bengals. Wreak an absolute havoc at Levi Stadium, constantly
putting pressure on Brock Purdy, and even when he was
out of the game with an ankle injury, he was
still making his presence felt. And this is a Bengals
team that started off the season really slow, like we've
seen in previous seasons, only to come back re assert themselves.

(28:06):
The defense and the offense looks fantastic. And now the
Bengals are going to be facing the Bills, so Trey
Hendrickson is likely going to be in the face of
Josh Allen a lot.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (28:20):
Those are perfect.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
Those are perfect, And I love what's coming next, right
because that's the that's the true test of if what
we see when we name these guys perro macho is real,
if they can keep it going, because you got to
get the dog in them, see exactly that exactly?

Speaker 3 (28:35):
That all right for me.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
And I'm very happy because I found some good plantains
here in La Well, they weren't good, they were okay.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
But we made a work got high standards.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
But I do my palatal power, Platino power.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
You did a lot better job than I did with
the opening of it.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
I totally just went, well, no, but.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
You you gave me a heads up to what was coming,
so I was.

Speaker 4 (28:59):
Able to breaks free, of course, and you're a professional anyway,
you walked so I could run.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
My blot out power is Jimmy or Gibbs? I mean,
are you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (29:09):
Twenty six rushes, one hundred and fifty two yards and
a tug also five receptions for thirty seven yards. Was
getting it done both on the ground and in the
air for the Lions Beautiful. My favorite part, of course,
was how we started the episode with him jumping into
the stands. Sir, calm down, you don't know what's going
to happen when you get in there.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
I love the woman that pulled him up. I mean,
she's got some serious muscles, some serious.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Drake to do that.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
The best thing is after the whole celebration is over,
light up and all you could see he takes a
pause and he's like, is anybody to help me down?

Speaker 3 (29:45):
Where's the office? Where the big guys here?

Speaker 2 (29:48):
Yeah, there was a little bit of that.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
There was a little bit of the excuse me help someone.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
He was up there for like a beat too long,
just like a little I didn't think he was gonna
go over the railing, and but I get it. The
atmosphere was crazy in Detroit, as it should have been.
Incredible game for him, incredible game for the fans. And
this team this season, my god, have they been fun
to watch.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
They've been fun to watch.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
We saw emotional Dan Campbell once again in little clips
throughout the think the whole team really should deserve a
plot power. But Gibbs for sure was fantastic.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
I love it. He was fantastic. And this team now
six and two, one of the top teams in the NFL.
And it doesn't matter who's toting the rock there in Detroit,
whether it's David Montgomery or Jamira Gibbs, They're going to
chew up some yards and lots and lots of them.
So now comes the point in the show where we
put a little bow on the l huddle podcasts and

(30:46):
that means e boonho. And since we're at this point,
and since I guess I'm gabbing at the moment, I'll
start with this bono.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
Hey, we've got a game.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
In Germany, and yeah, very entertaining one on tap between
the Chiefs and the Dolphins.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
The Chiefs offense looked lost.

Speaker 4 (31:09):
It seemed like they were out of sync, and the
Broncos give them credit, that defense clamped down and Patrick
Mahomes just couldn't get anything going and there's a lot
of mistakes on their part. And now they're going to
go to Frankfurt, Germany to face a Dolphins team that
now has Jalen Ramsey healthy who got an interception, which

(31:30):
I think means that this defense could be rounding into
form and it should be an entertaining game on the weekend.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
So that's my boon though. A great game from Frankfurt, Germany.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Yeah, I'm going to say right along those lines, because
I'm headed later this week to.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
That very game.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
I am excited, I am nervous, all the things, all
of the emotions, but I think that you're right. That's
I forget that Patrick Mahomes did have the flu. I
think people were expecting expecting like a Michael Jordan flu
game from him, and that's not quite the same. Right,
you have to play football and getting tackled and all
of that stuff. But I think the only thing that

(32:13):
if you're a Dolphins fan could concern you is that
now they're like, dang, we lost to the Broncos, which
is a team who hasn't been getting anything going against anybody,
and now we've got to go up against the Dolphins. Internationally,
it is a home game quote unquote home game for
the Chiefs in Frankfurt, so they're going to try to
get right and not just get right with a.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
Cool like you know people would think an easy game.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
This is a top contender in the league, in the conference,
by the way. But I'm excited for my Finns.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
Man, I really really am.

Speaker 1 (32:46):
But you can't help but be nervous when you're going
up against the defending champs, right, so even say trying
to say even keel, I'm excited to see some of
my Finns fan over there.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
I know we're doing a fan event on Saturday ahead
of the game.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Joe Rose, Dolphins Legend and now Superstar and Florida Radio
will be there here and I will be hanging out.
Our good friends from the network, Steve Smith Senior and
Kimmy Tex will be in Frankfurt as well.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
So it's gonna be awesome.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
We're gonna have a good time and next week I'll
either need heavy, heavy encouragement and love.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
From you guys, yeah, always pretty much mine.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
It's a party on the podcast, all of.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Those things, all of those things. Happy for you.

Speaker 4 (33:32):
Can't wait to hear how it's going the next time
that we do check in. But for us right now,
it's been a hell of a program. Still think candy
corns are fine, No problems with them. I wouldn't have
them all year, but at least during Halloween. If I
see trey, I'll pick up a few of them, eat them,
pop in my mouth.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
No lose on the tray.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
No why because of the cooties factor all of it.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
It's first of all, they're girls. Second of all, now
you got a bunch of people who have touched them.
I told you it's a garnish. It's not meant for
you to in Jess.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
All right, whatever pret my mind. We have to agree
to disagree, but no judgment.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
I'm just trying to look out your house.

Speaker 4 (34:15):
