Speaker 1 (00:04):
NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
partnership with iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Everybody, Welcome to game debut, Patrick Claybott back.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
Here were Cynthia Freeland, and.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
We brought a friend, Welcome back Greg Rosenthal from his
global travels.
Speaker 4 (00:19):
I am so excited, you know.
Speaker 5 (00:21):
All anyone was asking while I was overseas is like,
how is it that you're letting Patrick lead the standing
in game Deview?
Speaker 6 (00:29):
I mean all we heard about was just Greg Nation
was like, so active, Where the heck is he just
Greg Nation? They need their.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Man, and so we'll have a just Greg show where
it's just Greg.
Speaker 6 (00:39):
That's Greg, and it's just ready to be here.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
You know.
Speaker 6 (00:42):
It's fine.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
We did have a lot of upsets last week, so
that's reflected in the records. And despite my feelings regarding monarchy,
I still wear the crown. But those two are very
very close. It could go anyway at any particular moment.
Speaker 5 (00:56):
It's about time Patrick won one of these seasons. We're
five years in with Patrick. I think it's your time.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
Yeah, forcing me to count as dangerous right now. So
let's go ahead and talk some ball. Two years ago, the.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Lions and Chiefs kicked off the season in.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Arrowhead, Detroit put the league on notice by going into
Casey and taking down to defending champs twenty one to
twenty Worth noting Travis Kelsey missed that game due with
a knee injury. We almost had a rematch of that
exact game in the Super Bowl, but Brandon Aiyuk made
a cat. It was a whole thing.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Sorry, Cynthia, but now we get the rematch on Sunday night.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
The four and one Lions head a back to Arrowhead
the Chiefs coming off the loss in Duball.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Do the MotorCity kiddies get it done? Great?
Speaker 4 (01:39):
They absolutely do.
Speaker 5 (01:40):
She might be the Lions fan, but I'm the one
that has them in the Super Bowl this year and
has them winning in Arrowhead this weekend in part because
of their linebacker play. Remember when they took Tamer Gibbs
and Jack Campbell. Like people didn't like those picks as
first round picks. Everyone knew Gibbs was great right off
the bat, Like a lot of linebackers, It's taking Campbell
a while to get better. Right now, he's one of
(02:02):
the best linebackers in the league. Highest run stop rate
in the NFL, actually since the moment he was drafted
to now. But he's also good in coverage. Alex Azeloni
even better in coverage, one of the best coverage stat
linebackers in the league, if not the best, and then
Derek Barnes as a strong side linebacker. They can play heavy,
but they're not giving up anything in the running game.
(02:22):
That's a big time advantage for this Lions defense.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Yeah, I love the opportunity for the defense and the offense.
It almost goes without saying, because the Detroit Lions are
very good.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
I've got them winning.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
This game thirty two to twenty eight the KC defense
and see Spagnolo doing something they haven't really done. Give
you zone on seventy one percent of their dropbacks this season.
That's the highest in the Spags era. You know who
consumes zone for breakfast is jg and Amanron Saint Brown
and folks, if you're out there saying, well, Jared Goff just.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Doing the minimum painting by the numbers.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
He's got the number three completion percentage over expected this
season and he's got playmakers that.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Could get buckets. Give me the Lions.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Let's make it unanimous, sing, We're all aboard the Lions
this week.
Speaker 6 (03:05):
Okay, So I'm putting my analyst hat on here, and
the model has picked the Chiefs twenty five to twenty four,
which give him a deep beep beep. You are giving
me the Chiefs at home by myself. Fine, I'm fine
with that. I need to pick up a few games
on Patrick. But I'm looking at something here, and it's
all about Patrick Mahomes and the deep ball. Why because
two of the Lions starting corners from week one, you
(03:26):
know where they are not playing, not playing in this game.
Terry On Arnold not playing, DJ Reid not playing. Now
we've seen these deep balls, everyone's like, oh, it's not
a high completion percent. Hey, it doesn't need to be high.
You just need one to hit that home run for
a touchdown. Sure it could be Taekwan Thornton, whatever. I'm
looking at the opportunity to complete the deep ball. Where
(03:46):
for Patrick Mahomes probably Jordan probably the best to ever
do at the go, and he's gonna be able to say, hey,
I see this backup cornerbacks. I'm going to write to him, Okay,
let's call play where we let's target him, and that's
gonna be a problem.
Speaker 5 (03:59):
You know the last time we gave you a prime
number for the Chiefs at home, it was Raven's Chiefs
two weeks ago. That did not work out well.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Yeahs a categorical failure, specifically on my part. It's Tom
for Who's Eating Good? Presented by Applebee's. Let's go to
that Lion's backfield. Will Jamir Gibbs have more or less
than sixty nine rushing yards of this game?
Speaker 6 (04:19):
Okay? So we have a more for this one. I do,
by the way, as soon as all of the shows
are over, then I put on my fan hat, a
little Lions gear.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
It's a literal hat, by the way.
Speaker 6 (04:27):
Yeah, and I dressed the dogs up in their year,
so I will still be cheering four the Lions and
happy if they win. But Jamir Gibbs too rush for
more than sixty nine yards. You see, you saw something happen,
Dan Skipper, he got elevated from the practice card. You
know what that means, jim Mo's back. Baby. If they
have to line up eight offensive lineman, I don't care.
They're gonna run the football. Darn it. They're gonna run
the football.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
And that's real strategy for Jamiir Gibbs. Is gonna be
to lay down on the ground and they can fall
down again and then get.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Up, yeah, and run for a touchdown.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Our next matchup leads us to one of the craziest
plays from last season.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
Bears fans, Now, it's a good time to avert your eyes.
Speaker 7 (05:02):
Comes down to one play, and it's gonna be getting
longer by the second. You're all the way back at
the thirty yard line. Now you can step into it.
Here comes the Hail Mary. With the game on the
line and the balls taught tot it's a miracle.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
It's still a brown Oh my goodness.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Be so cool, calm and collected.
Speaker 6 (05:29):
How are you right now? Can you describe that final play?
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Nothing but God? Man, nothing but God?
Speaker 1 (05:37):
What is it about this Commander's team?
Speaker 6 (05:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Keep fighting, man, We keep fighting. We had a great
locker room, great brotherhood man. Nobody else. I'll rather go
to Warwick.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
A great lower for the Commander is The Bears lost
ten straight after that Hail Mary. Big rematch Monday Night
in the Nation's Capital, Caleb versus Jayden Part two?
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Do the Bears get revenge? Cynthia?
Speaker 6 (06:00):
Does revenge mean keeping it closer and not losing it? Okay,
they don't care if they cover. Okay, right, you said it,
not me. I have Washington winning, but only by three points.
So in some ways that could be a Bears if
you think about it. Yeah, and what is the difference, Well,
it's the production that we're seeing from rome Odoonzay. When
you talk about Ben Johnson going over from the lines,
(06:21):
we get it. Who's amine Ross Saint Brown? We have
our answer. It's rome Odoonsa and his ability to understand
and execute what's being asked of him in this offense.
Look at him getting that separation. Okay, it's against the
Cowboys but whatever. But ultimately he'll also be able to
find some success against the Commanders and their secondary And
Ben Jonson has had a week to think about it,
so I think this is going to be one where
(06:41):
we have a nice Like if you're a fantasy manager,
you're absolutely not worried about starting anything to do with
with this wide receiver.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
I've been really impressed with what Washington has done on
both sides of the ball. That's why I'm taking him
not only to win, but to win by six points.
And I just wanted to feel good when Jayden Daniels
wins this game because I remember watching that Hail Maryan
because of this show game debut.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
I couldn't even enjoy the.
Speaker 5 (07:03):
Command in that moment because I had picked the Bears
to win, not making that mistake because I believe in
Deebo Samuel. You know, Terry McLaurin hasn't been healthy, it
hasn't mattered. I'm not gonna say to Deebo Samuel that,
you know, I'm not familiar with your game, young.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
Man, because I was familiar.
Speaker 5 (07:21):
With the old Deebo Samuel, but this Deebo Samuel I
didn't think we'd ever see him again. He actually has
the highest target rate of his entire career this season,
and maybe one of the highest in the entire NFL,
and he's holding up under that weight. They are really
building an effective passing game from him, and ultimately, the
(07:42):
thing that's great about Deebo and this team is that
the passing game compliments the running game, which has just
been absolutely dominant. But if you need Debo to be
a number one, he is their number one right now.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
He's done that literally with the jersey number and as
well with the production in.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Terms of receiving.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
I think because we talk about the quarterbacks. The quarterbacks
are always going to be a part of the discussion
one and two.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
They're both fine.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
There's a world where both Caleb Williams and Jayson Daniels
couldn't be good at the quarterback position.
Speaker 6 (08:10):
Now I can only pick one.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
There could only be one.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
It's actually Drake May. I don't know if you guys knew.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
I will only pick one. To win the game, I'll
take the Washington Commanders. You can meme us away. I
have the Commanders winning as well, twenty seven to twenty three.
And what will be a fine game for Caleb Williams.
I need to see what they do what they did
on the buy to this run defense. They're giving up
six point one yards of carry coming in the Sunday,
and the Commanders are the number one rushing offense in
(08:35):
all of football, averaging a league best five point nine.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
Yards per carry. So if you look at that six point.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
One, basically every team looks like the Commander's running game
against the Bears.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
What will the Commanders.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Actually look like when they go up against the Chicago Bears.
I wouldn't feel comfortable taking Bears here. So yeah, we're
all aboard the Washington Commanders, those two taking one to
two in the twenty twenty four draft. A few picks
later at twelve bow Knicks went to the Broncos, and
last week Knicks led Denver to a huge win over
the Eagles. Now the Broncos going all the way across
the Atlantic Ocean for their next game.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Next to wake up and just do it out there
on the.
Speaker 4 (09:14):
Mark snap for the last week.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Let's dive into this matchup at Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium last
week Denver and in Philly their first loss of the season.
Do they keep it rolling against the Jets Sunday?
Speaker 4 (10:09):
They absolutely do.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
I hope I'm wrong on this one because there's a
lot of Jets fans in London like they are one
of the most popular teams. But I think they lose
this game by ten points, in part because the Broncos
they love to blitz and all that, and Vance Joseph
is creative. They don't even need to blitz because they
got the best four man pass rush in the entire league,
so they are doubly dangerous. Nick Benito, Zach Allen, Jonathan Cooper,
(10:34):
that group has been dominant. When Nick Benito isn't sacking
me on Twitter, he's out there sacking real life quarterbacks.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Yes, he came at me.
Speaker 6 (10:43):
Oh, we we put it on the screen.
Speaker 4 (10:45):
We're fun with and now I'm afraid to ever pick
against them.
Speaker 5 (10:49):
And look, ultimately, the Jets don't even have much of
a drop back passing game, but I think they're gonna
fall behind in this game and then they'll need it,
and that's when the Broncos pass rush really shows up.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
Well, I'm looking at the other side of this matchup
because I too have a big Denver win. It's a
little bit different. Twenty six to eight eighteen, so eight
point a little more conservative, fewer total points for me.
But Courtland Sutton did something last week against Quinnyon Mitchell
that hasn't really happened this season. He made him look pedestrian.
I mean, not for nothing. This is a guy who
(11:18):
was on his way to being in a second season
eight shut down corner and I don't use those terms lightly.
And Courtland Sutton was like, oh you okay, no problem,
It's all good here, pats er Tan. I practice against him,
you know, in my home team. So perhaps what's happening
here is he has some experience. But when you look
at Courtland Sutton, you look at what happens with a
(11:38):
Sean Payton offense as the season goes on, it's like
something happens in September, and then after that it's like whosh,
it's a much better situation. So fantasy manager who had
Courtland Sutton, You're fine, it's gonna be okay.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
I also have the Jets still continuing their losing streak
to start the season. It's twenty four eighteen win Ronco's
by my estimation. So I'd like to talk to you
about jkoh. I'm like knocking up, hey, would you like
to talk about JK.
Speaker 5 (12:02):
Dobbins.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
He's fifth in the league right now, taking on a
Jets defense that's giving up twenty five points in every
single game this year. A rough start for age and
as we look at Oh scoring that touchdown against the Chargers,
Chargers is like to.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
Have a running back like JK. Dobbins, I know, playing
very very well. It's a meme. Congratulations to the Broncos.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
And yeah, if you're a Jets fan out there that
wants to take a screenshot right now and.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Send it to us after the first win, we would
love to see it. We want to see it. This
will be a thirty nine yard field goal at ten.
Speaker 9 (12:35):
He has kicked a pair of thirty six yarders Chase McLaughlin.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
Can the Bucks win it on the road in Seattle?
Speaker 4 (12:42):
Spot down?
Speaker 3 (12:42):
It's kicked as airborne, it is locking up.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
It is God.
Speaker 9 (12:46):
Have the Bucks beat the Seattle Seahawks Tampa Bay thirty eight,
Seattle thirty five, and the Buccaneers come from behind on
the fourth quarter again and score the game winner with
no time left on the clock.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
The Cardiac crew is alive and well in the Pacific Northwest.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
How I'm finished in this house, we celebrate Geen Deckerhoff
great call their time for seas the season presented by
a casar or sportsbook. As we're gonna look at the
first touchdown score odds between the forty nine ers and
the Bucks CMC leading the way or Sean White a
Mecca Buka, then Kendrick Bourne who went off last Thursday,
and Cade.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
Atten rounding out that top group.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
Let's discuss this matchup a little bit more than Niners
in the Bucks both sitting at four and one. Tampa
just keeps finding ways to win. Do they find a
way coming up this week?
Speaker 3 (13:31):
Something?
Speaker 6 (13:31):
So we'll get into some of these injuries, because this
one's like a like you need to make a list of,
like everything that's going on, especially with the Niners. We
don't even know. We won't even know till ninety minutes
before the game starts. But I still have Tampa Bay
winning this one by two points twenty six, twenty four
given what I think I know now, which, let's be honest,
is not that much. Meaning I'm not even sure who's
the quarterback for the Niners, but I do know that
(13:54):
Baker Mayfield will be throwing passes to Amaca Agbuka, who
is right now, you're a very probable offensive rookie of
the year. Five touchdowns five games. That's a mark that's
only been matched by one Mike Evans, who if they
get Mike Evans out of this guy. Then they're just
doing great with their drafting there in Tampa. But you know,
it's really fun to watch him and I do kind
(14:15):
of a weekly review of every player's win share so
how valuable they are, and he ranks to the top
four among all wide receivers, not just rookies or anything,
which is it usually doesn't happen like that, Like a
Jamar Chase was in that mix, but it was not
through the first five weeks of the season though. It
took him the rest of the ones. Those deep passes work,
But it's pretty impressive what he's doing.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Yeah, especially considering that every single one of these games
has been to come from behind win that he's made plays.
Speaker 6 (14:40):
I don't like the name Cardiac Bucks though. Yeah, we
need like a B word. It needs to have a literation,
bounce back Bucks, because then you see these in there,
it just doesn't flow right, you know, Cardiac butt bucks.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
Threes.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
I have a three point win for the Bucks in
a relatively normal game this SUMMERUND twenty four to twenty one.
Shout out to Jason Knight for the roster construction to
be able to deal with all of these injuries, and
while they don't have last year's rookie breakout, they got
Rashwan White because Bucky Irving dealing with those injuries. He's
played pretty well, has Rashad in his steads hied for
a career high with two rushing touchdowns in that win
(15:16):
against the Seahawks. And he's a big part of the
passing game as well, which is once again a top
ten offense. To change coordinator doesn't matter, they just keep
cranking them out.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
What do you think, right?
Speaker 5 (15:28):
I love the Tampa Bay Buccaneers most weeks, but this
week against the San Francisco forty nine ers, I think
it's time to do a little Just Greg and everywhere
I went in Just Greg Nation, which actually is all
over the country, all.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
Over the world, is global.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
They asked, he went global. Could you be brave enough
to choose Mac Jones on the road? As long as
Mac Jones is playing in this game, I like them
to win. And it's partly because of the history. Kyle
Shanahan versus Todd Bowles has been one way traffic, much
like Kyle Shanahan versus Sean McVay, where he pulled short
handed upset a week ago So you look at last
(16:08):
year's game, not a great forty nine Ers team, and
yet they almost doubled the Bucks.
Speaker 4 (16:12):
In total yardage in a win.
Speaker 5 (16:14):
The year before they win by thirteen points over one
hundred and fifty yardage in terms of the advantage in
that game. The year before that, thirty five to seven,
the forty nine Ers put him out.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
And I do think Kyle Shannan.
Speaker 5 (16:25):
Might have a beat on how Todd Bowles's offense works.
So as long as Mac Jones is out there starting,
I mean, as much as I believe in UFL MVP
Adrian Martinez.
Speaker 6 (16:35):
I'm picking if it's Martinez, you flip.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
I would flip.
Speaker 6 (16:38):
Yes, that's good.
Speaker 5 (16:40):
We're the record Just Greggs this year seven and three.
My record on just Greg's are better than my overall record.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
It's just a fact.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
It's a fact. It's one thing we know versus the
things that we don't know.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Our courtesy of the San Francisco forty nine Ers, which
you know, we don't know if we're going to be heroes.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
We know your hero on Sunday. So that's good. We'll
start there. Season Season brought to you by Season Sports Book.

Trevor under center. How he slipped and he fell down.
Trevor fell down on the play.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
Now he's gonna try.
Speaker 4 (17:20):
And run in.
Speaker 10 (17:21):
Hey, the azo touchdown. Trevor read it in. He read
it in touchdown. He got up, he fell down. There's
a flag in the end zone. It's against Kansas City.
Trevor Lawis read it in touchdown Jacksonville with twenty three
seconds to.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Go, and the Jags will stay in du bll Seahawks
and Jags down there. Jacksonville coming off a huge Monday
night win against Mahomes and the Chiefs memewhile. Sam Donald
has been balling for Seattle, who wins the football game?
Speaker 3 (17:54):
Since there.
Speaker 6 (17:55):
Seattle wins the football game by one point twenty four
to twenty three. The road upset really far. This is
kind of crazy. I know it is the number one
turnover defense, but Sam Donald has been bawling Gray's Abel's
been great for him up front. When I'm looking at
the opportunity to succeed Sam Donald. What we saw last
year was not a mirage. He's actually even better this season.
(18:17):
When you're looking at his ability to connect under pressure,
not under pressure, all the different things that happened, He's
actually some of the numbers might be deceiven if you
only looked at if you weren't watching the awesome Bucks game,
which you should have been watching, You're like, oh man,
he blew it with an interception late in the game.
Go watch that interception. It was like ricochet, bad luck.
This is just not on the quarterback. So you're talking
(18:38):
about Sam Donald's ability to win football games, then you
can watch the rest of that entire game, because that
is what you're going to see in this one.
Speaker 5 (18:45):
They have one of the best offense in the league
in terms of efficiency and in terms of talent. I
love this defense. It's one of the reasons I'm picking
the Seahawks. I agree with you twenty three to twenty.
Donald is getting supported more each week by my guy
ken Walker and that blocking up front. He's in a
contract year, ken Walker, and I have never I've seen
him run as decisively and tough as he is this year.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
They are blowing open holes for him.
Speaker 5 (19:11):
And it's not every single run, but when they do,
he hits it and you have an explosive run. I
do think it's a good way to attack this Jaguars defense.
They're gonna be working in a new starting cornerback. By
the way, they traded for Greg Newsom this week. That's
a little wild. I love this game in general, and
I wish I knew the injury report a little more
in terms of the Seahawks defense, But ultimately it's the
(19:32):
running game and their offense, which I think carries the day.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
They trade for Greg Newsom.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
It allows them perhaps to play Travis Hunter a little
bit more.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
At wide receiver.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
And also, you know, it shows that the Jags believe
that this could be the year, and I believe as
well the.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
Folks that do all. I'll say it correctly because I'll
let Liam Cohen go just for right now.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
So yeah, I'll take the stray bond twenty five to
twenty three because the Jacksonville Jaguars have as of right.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
Now, the defensive player of the year in Devin Lloyd.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
And I know that there was the carram and ricochet
on the Darnald pick, the Levonte David. This is all
just Devin Lloyd reading the eyes of best quarterback going
right now, I'm taking it ninety five yards to the
house where this is a I understand.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
The Seahawks have an explosive pass game.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
This Jags defense seems like it's designed to prevent exactly that.
Perhaps an opportunity to get Javon Walker back as well,
so it won't be Josh Allen all by.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
Himself in the pass rush. I like the Jacks here
in this one. I will take a Jackson win because
you know it's fun when the Jacks went Time for.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
The Reid presented by Microsoft co Pilot. Microsoft Copilot, your

asked Microsoft co Pilot which position group matchups would decide
the game between the Bills and the Falcons. Co Pilot
highlighting the Falcons running backs against the Buffalo defensive front,
as well as all Atlanta's secondary will hold up against
(20:54):
Josh Allen. Buffalo's perfect season squashed last week by the Patriots.
The Dirty Birds coming off of a bye, Any chance
the Bill lose two rows of deal, there's always a chance.
Speaker 6 (21:06):
But I have a touchdown win for the Bills in
this one. Why because I went back again and I
charted all of those interceptions, those three turnovers, and two
of them were weird luck things and that was a
bad that happens in football. But Josh Allen is still
your Ragning MVP for a reason. He is playing the
best of anyone at the position right now through the
(21:28):
first five games, even with the one that didn't result
in a lost last game. That's the wind share metric
on that, and I know he's spreading the ball around
and he doesn't have this number one, but I actually
think that works in their favor. It keeps defenses guessing.
It keeps the Falcons defense, specifically guessing AJ Terrell may
not be playing. That is something that would be an
advantage for the Bills for sure, But it's the Bill's
(21:50):
O line plus a run game plus number seventeen that
really solidifies the win for me.
Speaker 5 (21:55):
I hope aj Terrell does play. He is at practice
for the first time in a while, so he could
be out there. And it's why I'm trying to thread
the needle here. I think the Bills win this game.
I think it's by less than four and a half.
I think this is a good Falcons team, but ultimately
it's tough to deal with Jackson Hawes. Yes, one of
the most effective plays in football this year is not
(22:17):
just a throw to Jackson Hawes, but just a Jackson Hawe.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
Play on the field.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
You're seeing Kinkaid because I think these two guys are
working as a tandem. For a long time, we've thought, Okay,
the Bills are a great two tight end team with
Dawson Knox and Team Kid, but it really only worked
when it was Alec Anderson on the field last year
as a sixth offensive lineman. Jackson Hawes, on the other hand,
is one of the best blockers in the entire NFL.
And when he and Kinkaid are on the field together,
(22:44):
and yeah, you might even throw it to Hawes there,
it's been absolute dynamite.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
I think they'll be able to run the ball.
Speaker 5 (22:50):
I think they'll be able to throw the ball, but
especially when Jackson Hawes is on.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
The I love the love for Jackson Halles is what
people are Let me find out more about Jackson Howlls.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
It's not all love for the Buffalo Bills. I do
think they're a great team. I think Atlanta wins.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Eight twenty six all along Barkin Bjon Robinson is averaging
four point two yards after contact per carry, while the
Buffalo Bills have allowed the third highest explosive run rate
this season. Do you guys know who else is averaging
four point two yards after contact per carry this year?
Speaker 4 (23:20):
Games cut?
Speaker 3 (23:21):
It is players who play against the Buffalo Bills. So
what happens when that player if everybody looks like Bejon
Robinson against.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
The Bills, what happens when that player is actually Jon Robinson?
I love this matchup for the Falcons and I'm completely
fine and comfortable having them all by myself on this
win on a great Monday night game, that game expected
to be one of the highest scoring matchups of the weekend.
Let's check out the rest of the highest totals four
week six Lions Chiefs leading the way, Bears, Commanders, Cowboys,
(23:51):
and Panthers at the top, as well as that Monday
night game. As we get to the two minute drill
presented by the Wells Fargo Active Cash credit card and
make some quick picks here on game dayvie the Bengals
of the Packers since traded for Joe Flacco on Tuesday,
He's starting for them. Does Joe Flacco beat Green Bay
for the second time of the season.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
No, because he didn't beat Green Bay the first time
they beat him.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
I mean, that was a terrible performance by the Browns
offense and they scored like a five yard touchdown at
the end.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
And the Packers are coming off a bye week.
Speaker 5 (24:22):
In this defense, Michael Parsons gonna be fri. Let's look
at some highlights from Joe Flacco's first performance against the Packers.
It's nothing against Joe Flacco. I love Joe Flacco. One
of the greatest Super Bowl He's the leases of my lifetime.
He was elite in that playoff run, that's for sure.
But he's going up against an elite defense and then
they already prove that they're going to shut down Joe Flacco.
Speaker 4 (24:43):
He's not gonna do any better with the Bengals.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
It's the Packers.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
We get a chance at revenge here the Cowboys and
the Panthers. It's a Rico Dawdle revenge game. Does he
get it, Cynthia.
Speaker 6 (24:52):
I think rio'dodoll has a good game, but he doesn't
get revenge. I think the Cowboys come out on top
by four points, twenty eight to twenty four because Dak
Prescott in this number one offense when they run the ball,
this will be the recipe for them keeping their number
thirty two defense off the field. It's actually Javonte Williams
who's creating a lot of different opportunities for them to
get open in the pass game. But I want to
(25:13):
give Dak some love here because he is doing magical
things with the football in his hands. The second most
passing yards this season, and Ceedee Lamb has not been
there for two games, so this is really impressive for him.
And not that he wasn't impressive before, but I feel like, sometimes,
you know, deckets overlooked amongst the top of the top
quarterbacks in the league. So we're giving him some love
rate here.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Yes, all of going out to ready to Code Prescott,
let's go to the Patriots and the Saints New England
turned heads going into Buffalo last week and winning that
football game. I've got them winning here as well, twenty
three to twenty one in a game where the Saints
score a few more points than some folks might expect.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
But let's discuss it. Who famously is all that matters.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
According to Greg Rosenthal, playing great, making great throws on
the run. A lot of it is by design top
three in design rollouts for Drake May this year and
a good reason. He's great there and on pay stats.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
Can get a little wiggily, but he's averaging two hundred
and fifty.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Passing yards a game with a passer rating of over
one oh five.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
Only two guys to do that.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Couple MVPs twenty eight Patrick Mahomes in nineteen eighty four
Dan Marino, How does.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
That make you feel great?
Speaker 4 (26:18):
It makes me feel great.
Speaker 5 (26:20):
What's gonna make you feel less great is that you
know you didn't stick by your original gard.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
You had the Saints in this game, and you gave
up on that.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
I did. I puned it on them because what happened in.
Speaker 4 (26:29):
The stray bond guts you're ten and three with.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Because I saw that he's on pace to do what
twenty eighteen Mahomes and eighty four Marino did.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
So I'm with you on Drake Man. Coming up, we're taking.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Props on problem on props for the big Broncos Jets
matchup at Tottenham.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
It's Nicks versus Field.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Who's ready to shine all the way across the Atlantic Ocean.
We'll tell you coming up next on game dabut snooze
off game on Sunday Morning Football continues in London, presented
by that app Bownicks and the Broncos versus Sauce Gardner

Speaker 6 (27:19):
Look, kids, Big Ben, It's high for more or less.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
More Big Ben, more giant clocks.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
Let's talk some player props for this week's Broncos Jets
showdown in London, Cynthia, Will bo Nicks have more or
less than two hundred twenty five passing yards?
Speaker 6 (27:34):
He will have more than two hundred and twenty five
passing yards. Why we saw the passing game pick up
this past week. I told you already that Sean Payton
offenses pick it up in October. Bo Nicks has to
figure out some things when it comes to connecting with
his receivers. Maybe we see like the Pat Bryant moment
in this one. You know coach called him, he called
(27:54):
him another guy that's pretty good for him. You know
the guy who Michael Thomas, who he worked with in
Wow yep so maybe it's him, I don't know, but
more than two twenty five.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
Multiple multiple can't guard Mike references from Coach Payton regarding
that Brian Gregg, Well, Justin Fields have over or under
two hundred and thirty two passing yards in rushing yards.
Speaker 5 (28:14):
Oh, it's the and the rushing yard that does it,
because I actually think the one vulnerability of this Broncos
defense is on the ground, especially to athletic quarterbacks like
Justin Fields. And then I do conceive of a game
script where they are trailing and ultimately Justin Fields is
throwing a lot of passes. You know what's been the
best offense? What the New York Jet Justice season fourth
(28:36):
quarter down by about twenty eight points. And whether that
might not really matter for who wins the game or not,
it's gonna matter for props like this. Let's go Justin Fields.
And by the way, bo Nicks, can you have a
one normal game? There hasn't been like one normal bow
Knicks game all year?
Speaker 3 (28:50):
All right, looking for a normal game.
Speaker 6 (28:51):
We'll see if we get the normal game.
Speaker 4 (28:53):
It's like where you're just consistent throughout. It's always just
a lot of up, a little drama.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
You know I'll take JK.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
Dobbins more or less than fifteen rushing attimpts, and I
don't feel great about it, but I will say more.
He's hit that number in three of five games, and
we've already chronicled the issues with the Jets defense.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
It'll be close, but I gotta pick one. We're binding here,
so I'm gonna go with more because it's green and
it's fun.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
Let's go back to you, Cynthia. How Breesehall doesn't have
a rushing touchdown this season?
Speaker 3 (29:21):
Does he finally get into the end zone?
Speaker 6 (29:23):
So on the ground? Yes, No, it could be through
the air. But I don't think that he has a
rushing touchdown, even though the Broncos are vulnerable to the run.
I don't think the game script will dictate it. Sure,
he does have tied with JK. Dobbins for the most
fourteen ten plus yard rushes, but when he goes to
the red area, the Broncos play a totally different type
(29:43):
of defense. This will not be something that's great for
Breese Hall on the ground. He could end up with
one through the air, but that's a little bit we're
talking about rushing touchdown.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
No, all right, speaking of the air at Courtland's Sutton
facing the Jets defense that's allowed nineteen plays of twenty
yards or more. Will his longest reception greg go for
more or less than twenty four yards.
Speaker 5 (30:02):
I'm gonna go more, and I know I know that
he's got Sauce Gardner probably tracking him for some of
the game. But you talked about how Courtland Sutton beat
Quinnon Mitchell a lot last week, and yes, those big
plays that the Jets have been giving up, it's the
second most in the entire league in terms of twenty
plus yard plays. And who is better than Sean Payon
at dictating matchups and finding basically anyone other than Sauce Gardner.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
For Courtland Sutton to beat down the field, you.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
Know, for Cortland to catch all those balls on Quinnon,
he had to have some pretty normal passes coming to
him from both.
Speaker 5 (30:36):
I just seen that he was scattershot for three quarters
and then he's great or he does some crazy things
like I'll give me something normal.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
This number last one, Garrett Wilson fifty five receiving yards
more or less. I'm gonna go with more because I
think the Jets might need to throw in this one.
There was only one game where he didn't hit that number.
I understand Patrick Tretan is over there, but it's fifty
five yards.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
So it's Garrett Wilson. You know, it'd be weird for
me to not say more get it, you get it.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Broncos Jets expected to be one of the lower scoring
games of the week. Here's a look at the rest
of the games that you know, the folks at Caesars
they might look a little rock fighting, the Brown Steelers,
the Titans of Raiders, the Broncos, and the Jets.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
Right there.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
Chargers Dolphins included as well. Time for What's Ahead presented
by Credit One Bank. The Rams and the Ravens also
expected to be low scoring, both teams coming off of
disastrous losses.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
Who bounces back this week.
Speaker 6 (31:36):
Cynthia, Okay, well I have to do it too. Now, Yeah,
the mandatory, it's just mandatory. But I think that the
Rams have a nice touchdown win in this one, twenty
seven to twenty, in part because of Kyrin Williams, who
is another guy I feel like we don't talk about
enough for being super efficient, super effective, a guy who's
counted on by his coach in all sorts of situations.
(31:57):
When things go left, he gets them back right, meaning
if he doesn't hold on to the football, they figure
it out right away. He's their ends own threat. He
kind of does it all, and it's really fun to
watch Poopa Akua run in front of him to throw
blocks for him, which just shows you what kind of
team this is playing for each other like that. So
it's pretty fun to see everything that's going on with
(32:18):
this Rams offense. But Karen Williams is a lot of love.
The Ravens defense missing some pieces. I didn't even want
to bring that part up, but we're not worried about that.
We're talking about Karen Williams being good.
Speaker 5 (32:26):
And the Ravens defense might have a few pieces back
this week. Maybe Marlon Humphrey could be back on the field,
and that's good, but it's not good enough for them
to compete in this game. I ultimately think the Rams
win by so much that it's one of those games
you can just start working on different aspects of your
offense that you haven't been before. It's almost like an
extended preseason game playing this Baltimore Ravens defense. So it's
(32:49):
been so DeVante and pooka heavy that. Let's get to
two at well a little more involved. Let's get Blake
Korm more involved. I think he could really carry the
load to make it so that Kyrien Williams isn't so overworked.
And then yes, Terrence Ferguson, a great, really physical looking
young tight end, has one catch on the season. Let's
(33:10):
just like start working on things. That's where the Ravens
defense is at right now.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
I apologize Patrick, No, you know, Greg, it's one of
those things where you're coming at this Ravens defense. You've
got a twenty two point win. It's disrespectful. That's why
I have a thirty six point win down thirty eight
to twelve for the Los Angeles Rams. Let's regale you
in some Ravens pass rush video from last week where
c J.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
Stroud was under a ton of pressure.
Speaker 2 (33:34):
Now, I promise that you're going to see it at
some point in this video of the Houston Texans scoring
all these points out in a lot of success to
c J. Stroud having to change his arm angle perhaps
or he's just running down the field by himself. The
props that we have on our set had as many
quarterback hits on CJ. Stroud as the Baltimore Ravens.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Did last week zero. So yeah, don't feel very confidable.
Speaker 5 (33:59):
At least it's like the Texans offensive line. It's like
the nineteen eighties, the greatest.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
Offensive of all time. Clearly it's rough. We're all aboard
at the rams.
Speaker 3 (34:07):
I would love to be wrong.
Speaker 8 (34:10):
How do the gone Goes Jones? Sweeping left?
Speaker 3 (34:11):
Taylor cuts back at.
Speaker 4 (34:12):
The five into the end zone. He dances in again.
Speaker 8 (34:15):
Three of them today, three touchdowns for Jonathan Taylor. The
kenfetti flies, the horn sounds, and Lucas Oil Stadium is
full of jubilation. The Colts now lead thirty eight to three.
Three touchdowns today for Jonathan Taylor. So much jubilation.
Speaker 2 (34:36):
Time for quick picks here on Game Dey viet Jonathan
Taylor and the Colts playing host to the Cardinals Arizona,
coming off a disastrous loss and absolute donation to the Titans.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
Do they bounce back some good?
Speaker 6 (34:47):
Do the Cardinals bounce back? No?
Speaker 4 (34:49):
They don't.
Speaker 6 (34:49):
Unfortunately, Indianapolis wins US one, twenty eight to twenty. Jonathan
Taylor I just keep talking about. Obviously, he's a rushing
yard leader with four hundred and eighty, but he also
has the most yards after contact. He's got the most
yards after forcing this tackle, Like these are the ways
he earning it. And I think that we're talking about
how much fun this Colts team is, but it is
the combination. He's saquon this year. He is their saque.
(35:11):
So I know Daniel Jones is the guy who came
from the Giants. We get it, there's some parallels there,
but this is the guy who is He's a straw
that's stirring to drink.
Speaker 5 (35:18):
Jacoby Brissett could be starting this game for the Cardinals,
and weirdly, I kind of like the Cardinals more. I
feel like he fits this system well and I definitely
like them more because of the number.
Speaker 4 (35:29):
I think this is a big game in the Cardinals season.
Speaker 5 (35:31):
Not saying they're gonna try harder Patrick, but sometimes a
desperate team plays better.
Speaker 4 (35:35):
I think it'll be close.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
Three consecutive losses by Buser Peters field goals is right.
Speaker 4 (35:40):
So you lose by a field goal and then you
cover the number seventy seven the.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Chargers of the Dolphins in Miami.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
The Bolts have lost two straight after starting the season
three and oho, how's this one?
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Go, Greg.
Speaker 5 (35:50):
I have no idea because these two teams right now
both have so many injuries and problems. But ultimately, I
think the Chargers win a close game. I don't trust
them to win by a lot because when they are
in run defense, they're struck. But when the Dolphins try
to run the ball, they are struggling. So it's really
a weakness on weakness, And I think watching this Dolphins
(36:13):
team get blown up in the backfield so often.
Speaker 4 (36:17):
When your head coach is known for his.
Speaker 5 (36:19):
Run game, acimen Like, that's what he was in San
Francisco and that's what he was in Miami for a while,
and that's your fundamental number one thing that you are
built around. Ultimately, if you're not getting that done, then
I think it's a problem.
Speaker 4 (36:32):
And like their their O.
Speaker 6 (36:34):
Line is a laundry list of potentially injured players. I mean,
we already knew we Shewan Slater, Joe All, Trey Pipkins,
maybe Mackay Beckton is playing or maybe not. Like there's
just so many injuries are Omarion Hampton, Like, it's just
a much different team and a lot more pressure on
Justin Herbert.
Speaker 3 (36:47):
Yeah, get well soon to the folks. In the South day.
We're as we'll go hout out to the Gargans.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
Bronz and the Steelers Pittsburgh coming off of their bye week.
Speaker 3 (36:54):
They've won two straight. Do they make it three in
a row?
Speaker 6 (36:56):
Sent here? Hey, I mean, look, Aaron Rodgers with some rest,
Aaron Rodgers with a defense that got healthier, Aaron Rodgers
with the opportunity to go up against Now. I don't
think this is an easy Browns defense by any means,
but I think that potentially they could slow things down
the play action numbers. They have given up a bunch
of touchdowns to play action passes. Aaron Rodgers loves the
(37:19):
play action. You know that he's going to throw the
ball quickly. You know that he's going to throw it.
Maybe not so far. They're going to figure something whatever.
But the point is is, I just think this is
where the mid version of Aaron Rodgers that we're seeing
does have an advantage over a Rickie quarterback.
Speaker 5 (37:32):
It's a very tough matchup, though, We're going to see
if that offensive line can keep it going from what
they did. Yeah, and then I really liked what I
saw out of Dylan Gabriel. I think the Browns are
a better offense with Dylan Gabriel. You still think the
Steelers I did, but I think that Browns keep it
closer than five and a half point.
Speaker 6 (37:47):
Ye yeah, ive seventeen twelve, that's five.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Anything could happen in this game when it's seventeen to twelve,
last one Titans and Raiders. Someone's got to win, and
I think the Raiders do it. Let's go three twenty
one to eighteen. And I know it was a little
bit of a down game for the entire institution of
the Raiders, but once again averaging four point eight yards
per carry last week was Ashton genty. Get them the ball,
get them some opportunities, and yeah, protect the ball and
(38:13):
not turn the ball over.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
I think they have a good chance to win this year.
Speaker 6 (38:16):
I don't think brock Borers will end up playing again.
He is still questionable as of the time of this recording.
So maybe potentially a little bit more of the load
goes to Ashton Gent but that's okay because the outside
running capability or defensive capability of the Titans, they are
very generous to outside rushers.
Speaker 5 (38:31):
Yes, this is exactly what the Raiders need. More on
that in terms of their offense in a second, but
it's also what their defense needs because as well as
cam Ward has played, considering the circumstances around it, I
think this is the worst run offense in the league.
Speaker 4 (38:46):
Like they're often very confused.
Speaker 5 (38:48):
There's not a lot of cohesion, and the numbers would
back me up that does success rate. It is the
worst offense in the league and the old line is
not helping them at all.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
Time to figure out a lot of stuff for Las
Vegas despite all that, we've all picked them to win.
Perhaps a statement about the Tennessee Titans in twenty twenty
five still to come. Time for write this down our
favorite prop bets for the week. Cynthia and I went
seven and one on these things while Greg was.
Speaker 3 (39:11):
Out of the country. Might have to make your pick
for you, trifle g because we are in Fuego.
Speaker 5 (39:18):
I haven't gotten to write this down right since nineteen
seventy three.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
Sae, Greg briks the streak when we come back, okay, baby,
Wake up early Sunday to catch Bone Nicks and the
Broncos taking on Justin Fields and the Jets. Sunday Morning

Speaker 3 (39:53):
It's time for write this.
Speaker 2 (39:55):
Down here on game day of you as we get
to some of our favorite prop predictions for Week six.
Since you're back and we missed you, Greg, why don't
you lead us on?
Speaker 5 (40:04):
You know what I miss is effective Gino Smith games.
It's been tough for us out here in terms of
Geno Nation. I've been the biggest fan of Gino Smith
over the last few years, and what's happening now for
the Raiders does not invalidate what happened the last three
or four years. He is struggling, but you know what,
I stand by my friends and my beliefs, and yes,
(40:24):
sometimes when you get older, you're just not as effective
as you were before. What's happening in North Carolina the
football team there would indicate that. But Gino Smith, I'm
not giving up on you. This is a great matchup.
He goes over two hundred and twenty nine yards. If
he might not be great this season, but he's going
to be great this week.
Speaker 3 (40:42):
It's a rough one.
Speaker 4 (40:44):
He damned a lot in there.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
If Geno's Washington Show, He's like, oh, you're comparing.
Speaker 4 (40:47):
Me to that. No, not, that was just a way
to get that in the show.
Speaker 6 (40:52):
That's absolutely right, Matthew Staffords.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
Congratulations matt Stafford.
Speaker 5 (41:01):
I mean, will there be anyone in the Baltimore secondary
to defend it?
Speaker 3 (41:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (41:05):
That seems to see.
Speaker 6 (41:06):
I just want to be right, sorry about sorry that
I like don't have this whole you know, culturally relevant,
maybe perhaps slightly. You know, I'm not gonna throw anyone
else in shade. Just Matthew Stafford's gonna have at least
two passing touchdowns.
Speaker 4 (41:20):
Well he he disproves my point.
Speaker 5 (41:22):
Sometimes as your agent you can get even better because
there you go. Lafford is still slinging it.
Speaker 6 (41:26):
Listen, it's the age discrepancy that's really the problem in
the situation you're talking about. Not necessarily that wasn't going there.
Speaker 2 (41:33):
Speaking of soft landing spots, the Dallas Cowboys defense has
been one for opposing wide receivers. That's why I think
tenorolem Millan has more than sixty nine and a half
receiving yards against the Dallas Cowboys. If you want to
look back, the fewest yards by a number by the
receiver with the most yards in a game against the
Cowboys this season has been Dotson for the Eagles with
(41:55):
fifty nine. I think t Mac is good for sixty
nine and a half in a fun game against the
Dallas Cowboys.
Speaker 4 (42:02):
Nice and deed in a great show for.
Speaker 3 (42:06):
Cynthia and Greg Cooper. Very glad to have back. Thanks
for watching Game Debut. We'll see you next week.
