Speaker 1 (00:00):
And now Move the Sticks with Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks.
What's up everybody, Welcome back, Move the Sticks, DJ, Rhett
with you. Bucky has got some he's got some Super
Bowl programming duties, so he'll be back later in the week. Rhett,
travel safe. Nice to be home, Yeah it was.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
It was good to be home.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Felt like it was a long week on the road iMobile,
but a productive week, one in which I know we're
going to dig into here after one of the craziest
All Star games I think I've ever been a part of.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
I'm sure that registers for you as well.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Yeah, it was a fantastic finish to the recent Senior Bowl,
the twenty five editions. So we'll break down some of
the top guys we saw, not only in the game,
but during the week. We had a couple podcasts during
the week, which you know, gave you some insight in
what we were seeing. But we'll give you kind of
final thoughts there. We'll do that in just a little bit.
We'll also give you some some Super Bowl thoughts as well.

(00:55):
Early in the week. We got plenty of time to
build that one up, but we'll give you some early
thoughts there. But right now it's time for the lead block,
presented by T Mobile for Business. Football needs a network
willing to go the extra yard, So do you go
further with T Mobile for Business. Didn't have this one
on the Bengo card as our a bloc topic today
on the pod, But here we go. Miles Garrett wants
to get the heck out of Cleveland.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Yeah, and look, I mean he's been there and one
hundred and two career sacks in the Cleveland Brown's uniform,
and what felt like was a build up towards maximizing
his prime right when they go out and spend all
the first round draft picks to get to Shaun Watson
obviously did not work, has not worked, probably will not work.

(01:35):
And so you're sitting here three what three years into
that that whole situation. You haven't been able to build
the roster the way you want without those picks, and
yet you haven't gotten the return. And if a Miles Garrett,
I'm sitting here and I'm like, I got a finite
of mind. There is a somewhere, somehow there is a
number of sacks that I have left, and one hundred
and two of them have already gone down. Maybe there's

(01:57):
thirty five to forty five, fifty more, who knows.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
But I want to make them count.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
And I can't understand this because team's picking second in
the draft obviously because they were bad last year?

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Is there?

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Does it feel like this is going to be a
quick rebuild in Cleveland? I don't know, but it sounds
like Miles feels like he's done enough to warrant an
opportunity to go chase a ring somewhere else.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
So I don't think. Maybe I'm wrong, Maybe there's some
sophistication here in this thought process on the Browns fans
side of things. But I actually look at this and say,
Miles Garrett just gave you a huge gift. He just
gave you cover. You came out publicly and said you
were not trading him. You came out and said we're
committed to winning. This is a Hall of Fame player.
We're not going to let him leave the organization. So

(02:45):
if you hadn't done that and then you just came
out and traded Miles Garrett, there'd be a faction of
people will be like, gosh, how do we do this?
I mean, we at least we have our Joe Thomas's
you know, where we can have our Hall of famers
and have our lovable players, even though we might not
be winning. We are attached to these guys and that's
kind of their identity. Where there might have been some criticism,
now there's no criticism, Like if they trade him, it's like, hey,

(03:08):
what do you want to do? The guy didn't want
to be.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
There, He wasn't going to play, he wouldn't want to
be there.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
So now you've got cover. And to be honest with you,
it's not I'm not going to use the T word.
I'm not going to say that, but I will say
this is the perfect time to take all your medicine reset.
Let's let's let you know you're you're got the Deshaun
Watson think he's not going to play this year, that
next year, maybe it gets a little more palatable. We
can try and figure out a way that you know,

(03:33):
at least you're moving on. I think he started his
last game there, whether he's still on the roster, down
the line and what have you. This is this is
what I would be using this opportunity to do red.
I'm trading Miles Garrett and I am getting as many
assets as I can in the next two twenty six
and beyond twenty six and twenty seven. Those two drafts,
I am loading up with assets there. I am then

(03:54):
going to take where I'm selecting in this current draft,
and I'm going to say, let it be known to
everyone that we are up for sale. I'm trading back
to get even more assets in twenty six and twenty seven. Now,
now see if you can answer this little riddle here.
Owner of the Cleveland Browns has ties to what state?

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Pennsylvania?

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Now, The owner of the Cleveland Browns, Jimmy Haslam is uh, Tennessee.
Jimmy Haslam has a great relationship with what Hall of
Fame quarterback Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning has a
nephew's uh. That's everybody's fully expecting to take the college
world by storm.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
I'd be surprised if it's in twenty six. But first,
and you know you are.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Your relationship and credentials with that family far exceed mine.
But I was told by people that this is not
this is a different era. That Peyton and Eli loved
college because it was a college experience and you had
the same teammates you came in together, We're gonna win together,
we're gonna go out together. This is professional football at
the college level now. So if you're already playing professional football,

(05:09):
you're already getting compensated, you've got teammates coming and going well,
then there's a case so maybe maybe we just go
ahead and start this thing, you know, after next year.
But that's why I'm also baking. In twenty six and
twenty seven, you're going to get a lot of resources
for Miles Garrett. So you could head your bed a
little bit and just say, hey, for the next two years,
we're going to try and build in the foundation for

(05:32):
our quarterback wherever that quarterback might be in the future.
And it's not I'm not putting all my eggs just
in that basket. There's some other exciting quarterbacks coming down
the pipeline here in college football over the next few years,
and I won't mention them by name because I get
in trouble for doing that. But there's more than one.
So that's my thought process on it. If I'm Cleveland,
I'm saying, Okay, this is a time for us to reset,

(05:53):
let's regroup, and let's think about the future here.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Yeah, and look, I think that makes the number two
pick this year really intriguing, you know, and as you're
talking about if can you package it to get out,
but who's going to be fighting to get up there?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Somebody goes if.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
The quarterback, if Abdol Carter is there because you know
cam word, you know, or say, whoever goes number one
and Abdol Carter is there at number two. I do
think there's value in market for that pick.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
I think there's also value to take that pick and
to make that pick, especially if we've already moved on
from our cornerstone edge rusher man to just go bang bang,
we got the next guy we feel like to build
it on.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
So let me play the other side of that. So
that would give them what an elite rusher, right, They
have an elite rusher right now, and they stink. So
that's the problem. Is the elephant in the room is
that they've got they've got to find the quarterback, and
I don't think that that's the right fit for them
in this current group of quarterbacks out.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Yeah, I think I would agree. I would agree, and
we don't.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
We're not even sure where the Titans are going at
number one, right I mean at this at this point.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
So, I mean, I look, I think abdol Card's best
player on draft. They take abdol Hard, I'm not going
to I'll praise him for it. And yeah, and then
you use the savings from Miles Garrett's contract in the
future to be able to help yourself. But I'm just saying, if, like,
if our ultimate goal is to get a franchise, big time,
elite level quarterback via the draft, then the move is
to try and collect as many resources as you can

(07:17):
to help that dreamcome reality in the future.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Yeah, I mean, I certainly get the logic on that front,
for sure, and I just I think it paints the
picture though that where we are in the draft process
right now, there's a lot of uncertainty, and maybe the
only certainty is that you know, at two, you're not
going to feel super comfortable taking maybe the.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
First quarterback off the board, but the second quarterback for sure.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
If that's the case, if there's a QB that goes one,
taking QB two at number two might feel a little
rich in this year's draft based off where we're at
right now in the process.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
No.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
I posted this earlier today about just the word fit.
Word fit probably should be used more this year than
any other year in terms of these quarterbacks are not
universal talents where you drop him into any of the
thirty two buildings and they work. They are They are
a very specific set of skills. I had this conversation
with a with a league executive about Dylan Gabriel this

(08:19):
last week, and we were just talking about saying, look,
I know he's not big, but he said, with the
way he plays, you pop him in as to his backup,
I think that's a home run right there. If he
goes to Miami, he can do all the stuff too.
It can do. He's just a little bit smaller version.
But he said, even you know he goes to the Raiders,
if he were to go to you know, team in
the NFC South where you're playing in domes, like he

(08:39):
just he fits certain stadiums, certain offenses, certain environments. Not
for everybody. And I don't know how high you're going
to take him, you know, whether that's you know, most
teams have him more kind of in the third, fourth
round range. But there's places where Dylan Gabriel works, is
what I'm getting at.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
Yeah, that's just an example, and yeah, and we're going
to find, you know, the best opportunities you know for
or Jackson Dart and Jalen Milroe and even up at
the top with cam Ward and inch Door Sanders, and
we'll weigh those fits. And that's part of the fun
in the next couple of months as we get closer
to Green Bay.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Yeah, No, it's it's gonna be an interesting discussion as
we go forward. But Miles Garrett and then Cleveland has
since doubled down, which is not surprised me and said, Nope,
he's not We're not taking calls. But this is the beginning.
This is the start of a process that I believe
eventually is going to lead to his exodus from the organization. Yeah,
and they have to put up a good front that
this is not something they want to do. It's something
they're going to reluctantly do. But at my opin just

(09:34):
my opinion, I think this ends up eventually happening.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
First, plush, we're talking about two first round picks? Are
we talking about two first round picks and then probably
some pick swamps beyond.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Yeah, I think I think if it's two first round picks,
I would say that's plenty and that's enough. That's it.
Two first round picks, that's that's the deal. Or you
can say, hey, we want to one and then two
two's and maybe you know something else. So it's just
however you want to construct it. But I can't imagine
it's two ones plus. I just I can't see that.
I would think two ones would be good. The first.

(10:06):
By the way, what's the first team you thought of
when you saw this?

Speaker 2 (10:10):
The first team? Like as a landing came.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
In to mind? That like the first the first Andrew
Berry's the first phone call he got after that post
was from what team? What was the first team that
popped into your mind?

Speaker 2 (10:20):
The Eagles.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
That's fair, that's fair.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
I mean, just because of the resources that they've spent
up at that at the front.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Because I wasn't even thinking about it. It was just
the first it was just elite player available. You heard
multiple first round picks. My first thought was my first
thought was oh, less need and then my second thought was,
oh crap, they already got a great young defensive line
one of the teams that doesn't really need him.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
That's what I was thinking. I was like, Oh, man,
I don't I don't.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Feel like it I think the Bills is what the
Bills would be one to watch too, you know, depending
on what happens with Von Miller, you know, moving on
after this year. If that's the case, there's certainly a
team that feels ready to go and could use a
player like that.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Yeah, and I know everybody's throwing out a bunch of
different teams, but I I gotta believe he said it
in his statement. He wants to win. So if you're
a team that's like, hey, you know, we're picking in
the top ten, but we could use Miles Garrett, I
bet you could. But I don't think he wants to
go there. I don't think he'd be interested in doing
an extension there. So it's not it's really not that
many teams when you when you get down to it,
but I think somebody will pay a steep price. All right, Well,

(11:17):
there you go. That's a wrap for the lead block
presented by T Mobile for Business. Football needs network willing
to go the extra yard? So do you go further
with T Mobile for Business? All right, right, let's take
a quick break. We come back. We will jump into
what we saw from the Senior Bowl as well as
a quick little snippet a little preview here of the
Super Bowl, right for this. All right, let's let's get

(11:43):
to the Senior Bowl, the game, the finish. I'll let
you start there, by the way, this was your first year. Yeah,
first year calling the Senior Bowl. You've done All Star
games forever, You've done a bunch of but this is
your first year doing this one. And I just told
you afterwards, they're not all like this. Okay, don't get
don't get used to this. Uh, you know, you did
a great job all week long. It was great avenue there.

(12:06):
You know, we miss our buddy Andrews Cicilian. Yeah, job
on this game as a total pro, but it was
but it was. It was fun to be with you
and you absolutely crush it. Knocked that out of the park.
And that ending, Dude, I don't know how many games
you could go go on to call one thousand, five
thousand games the rest of your life. That was pretty
darn cool man. I don't know if you have more
cooler moments in that way.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
It was just, uh, you know it truly, it truly
felt like a meant to be type of moment, you know,
like one of those destiny type of moments.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
And I know that sounds crazy.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Think about an All Star game where no one really
cares about the outcome, But in this one, it's a
fourth down seven seconds left. Jack Besh, whose brother Tiger,
if you don't know the story by now, played it
Princeton and was one of the one of the victims
of the terrorist attack in New Orleans literally like a
month of the day. So Tiger was wearing number seven
when he played at Princeton, Jack war number seven. Everybody

(12:59):
wore seven on the helmets. Seven seconds left, Number seven
catches the game winner from Memphis Tiger quarterback Seth Hennigan, Like,
you just.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
You can't script it. You couldn't script it an anything
like that.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
I wish I would have realized.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
I did not realize, you know that the seven seconds
didn't hit me as that was happening. And then the
rest of the time ran off the clock and it
was a walk off winner. And I mean, the the
pictures that we had of the emotions with his parents
after the game, that's that'll be burned in my brain
for a long time.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Yeah, it was. It was quite a sight to behold,
and what a great moment after such a tragedy to
at least have a you know, a moment there or
you could exhale.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
And it was powerful.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
I mean, I just we just kind of sat up
there in the booth kind of fighting back tears watching this.
And then you know, our colleague and buddy Tom Polas
Sara did a fantastic interview after it was over. But
we had a chance to We ran into Seth Hennigan's
family on the way out of the stradium and I
hadn't realized. I don't know if you had it at
the time, but when they that's when I heard for

(14:05):
the first time Memphis Tiger.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
I was like, oh my gosh, I didn't even there's
just so many different players of this thing.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
We were walking out, we hear seven seconds we're walking out,
we heard Tiger. I'm like, guys hotly smoked. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
It was crazy and he was awesome by the way
he was eating. Jack was the MVP and like even
if he hadn't caught that touchdown, he might have been
the MVP.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Receiver was fantastic.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
That was a great week. Other takeaways here a few
that you might have.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Savi on Jones saved a little guest game day.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Yes, I was just typing in my notes on him
because I had watched him during the week. I had
to you know, gives me and these guys done as
I came before, but some of them myself finishing up.
So I watched him and then I woke my notes
and then I just wrote, like Senior Bowl game, exclamation point,
exclamation point, exclamation point. He was unblockable, man, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
He was unblockable. Landon Jackson was incredible during the game.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
I thought he had some moments where he would want
to kind of smooth out a little bit and sharpen
up during the practice week, and he did, and I
thought he was excellent in the game. Uh, those two
guys stood out to me in the game. Oldo Efemio
the dejo at a couple of sacks in the game.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Thought he was just absolutely charged.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
Up coming off the edge. I think we got to
give Isaac T. Slaw a little bit of credit to like.
Jack Bash made some big time catches in the game,
And I thought, really, you know, outside of Milrose pass
game production, which was you know, kind of minimal, I
thought all the quarterbacks kind of quitted themselves pretty well.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Yeah, they had a nice job Tyler Tyler Schuck made
some nice throws. Yeah, Dylan Gabriel was not in there
for a long time, but he operated well though. Uh
made some made some nice throws. Canada a nice little
deep ball over the top. Riley Leonard, Yeah, who has
gotten real comfortable in that kind of three quarter arm.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Slot, that arm angle man. Yeah, he was, he was.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
He was locked in with solid Jackson Dart used his
legs a little bit. Han again was crazy efficient. He
was like what eleven for twelve or something, And like.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
So many of them came on that you know, in
a situational drive where you're you're you're trying to mount
a comeback with under two minutes of play, and there
was some game management stuff kind of going back and
forth there, but they figured out a way to get
it done. I thought Caleb Ransaw really showed up in
the game. Had a big interception. I think I had
one of the force fumbles too, if I'm not mistaken.
A couple of turnovers there, and and look that whole group.

(16:16):
I think Jack Kaiser was playing safety at the end.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
I know, I'm anxious to go. I haven't got a
chance to go back and watch the game, watch the
tape of the game, but I missed that, you know,
during the game time afterwards he was playing safety. I'm
looking forward to, yeah, sneeing that. How about the versatility
and the willingness for him to step back there and
do that. Andy his peebles made some plays with his quickness.
Baron Serell capped off a really solid week. You know,

(16:40):
he's an impressive player coming off the edge. And I'll
be honest with you, the one who he was just
outside my top fifty. Actually the two names just outside
my top fifty that I had in and then you know,
as you're watching more guys they just missed and I'm like, okay,
well they got a very good shot of going back in.
Lanna Jackson was freaking awesome from Arkansas coming off the
edge six five hundred and seventy plus pounds. They couldn't

(17:02):
block him. I mean, they had no answer for him
off the edge. That's one. And then Jane Higgins from
Iowa State, who's a big, physical receiver. We got so
many of these little guys you know that you're you're
watching and I'm like, okay, this is a this is
a power forward who made some plays in the game.
And had a really solid week. I think he's gonna
go in second round.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Yeah, I thought he was. He was excellent.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
I wanted to see a little bit more in the
one on one settings that we didn't get a chance
to really with him. But then he really turned it on,
you know, and I think kind of showcased, you know,
a little bit of his mentality, which is a little
bit of that kind of bowl in the China Shop,
you know, a little bit of that that Jared Verse
kind of like like speed department, like versatility, like played
with an edge, played with a mean streak, you know,

(17:44):
relentless effort, like a lot of that stuff really showed
up to me on Jackson in the game.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Yeah, they never really got Kyle Williams going, who had
a great week of practice from Washington State. But anyway,
he helped himself overall in the game. I would say
another one Marcus bow from from Purdue, who in some
one on ones had some issues with some power and
some strength issues. But man, I see this every year.
There's always one or two of these guys who struggle
a little bit the one on ones. But guess what,

(18:09):
the game's eleven on eleven and when you watch him
in the team periods. He's solid in the game, and
I'll go back and watch it. Man, I thought he
played a clean game. So I think he's another one
who who definitely helped himself with what he showed there
in the game. All right, let's let's switch gears here
rehtt It's time for winning Combination presented by Reese's Chocolate
Lava Big Cup. We're gonna jump in, by the way

(18:30):
on the heels of the Reese Senior Bowl. I very
seamless what it is. Let's get to some early Super
Bowl thoughts here. What are you think. It's early in
the week as we were recording this Monday morning. Players
just got there yesterday. But man, I'm I'm starting to
I know, people a lot of people didn't want this matchup.
I'm kind of pumped for this fire. I'm looking forward
to it.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
And it's it's really you know, it's it's blue chip
talent in the trenches. And I think that's that's something
that we you know, we talked about this being a
meeting and meeting potatoes draft, right, So you said at
the at the you know, during the Senior Bowl, and
I think you know, this is if you love that
this is going to be a game for you too,
because here we go, like, how do you know, what's
the health of the Eagles interior offensive line with Dickerson
and with with the beef JERGI and you know, can

(19:11):
they figure out a way to deal with Chris Jones
on a consistent basis enough to allow Saquon Barkley to
do what he's done all year long, and that is
you know, Rex shop and then you know, throw out
four or five six yard games and at some point
two of those are going to turn into sixty plus
yard runs. So like that, that to me right now,
on the surface is just the biggest piece of the

(19:31):
chess game for me is how they deal with Saquon upfront,
and then whether the Eagles offensive line is going to
be healthy enough, feeling, you know, good enough to kind
of continue to create that havoc up there for Saquon.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
I think the entire game comes down to one thing,
and one thing only that the Kansasy Chiefs have lost
one Super Bowl with this group. What happened in that ballgame?
They got crushed on the edge should not protect and
got eviscerated by the defensive front of the Tampa Bay
Buccaneers and the Eagles have that type.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
Of talent up front, So that's really coming on that
that is and.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
They can get some and they can make some turnovers
off of that if they get that level of pressure.
So and I think, man, you got all these guys
are going to be fresh. So that's what you know.
We've got the injuries for the Eagles on the offensive line,
we'll keep an eye on that. But from the pass
rush standpoint, man, they're going to be fresh. I'm keeping
an eye. I'm just keeping an eye on the on
the footing. What is the footing look like, because that

(20:29):
was a big issue in the first time when they met.
Remember that nobody had their footing up front. The Eagles
had those two fastballs coming off the edge with Hassan Reddick,
I remember who was on the other side. Whe a
bit sweaty, but they were slipping and sliding all over
the place. In that game was in Arizona. I want
to say where that Super Bowl was two years ago? Right, Yeah,
it was not long, but they had made it. But
this is going to be, this is gonna be. I

(20:50):
would imagine very firm footing here on this track and
the yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
I mean it's artificial, so like you're good to Yeah,
it's going to be a fast track. And and so
you know, Joe Tooney sounds like still going to stay
on the outside at tackle. I don't know, I don't
know how you how you could find a better can't.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Yeah, you're not gonna move him.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
They'll mess around with it, right, I mean, like that's
he's your best option at left tackle right now. Maybe
he is moving forward, he's like that's the other thing
that's kind of intriguing. Or or do you go back
to Sumatilla and hoping he can.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Figure it out based off what I saw this year?
I'm not Yeah, yeah, but so yeah, I think that's
that's the that's the big key there.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
Can Tooney deal with the speed off the edge and
then on the right side, can you hold up long enough,
can you get beat slow enough to let Patrick you know,
do what he does.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
Well, They're gonna have to take away do a better
job of taking away the tight end. Last week, Zach
Hertz went for bazillion catches against them, And if there
was a lot of them kind of uncontested working in
the middle of the field, if they can't play like
that against Kelsey, he'll have twenty catches. I mean, they've
got to find a way to slow that down a
little bit. But man, that's that's it's a true line
of scrimmage game. And you mentioned it, you know, can

(21:57):
they block Chris Jones that's on one side of it.
On the other side of it, Jaylen Carter and all
those I do think I do think that while Kansas
City defense is outstanding, I still think if you add
up and and this is not going to mean anything
if you're Kansas City fan, don't take this the wrong way,
but this is a more talented team roster in Philadelphia.

(22:21):
But guess what. San Francisco was more talented than Kansas
City was too, Philadelphia in the previous meeting was more
talented than them, and then Kansasity still finds a way
to win it. So uh, you know, I just think
it's it's phenomenal what they've been able to do and
in some ways, like I'm looking forward to most on
the Kansas City side of things is I don't know

(22:41):
what you know, if Dan Casey, if they've gone back
through all Dan Casey's tweets over the last like five years,
what kind of weird plays. Andy Reid's gonna dust off
to uh to unleash here in the Super Bowl that
nobody's seen or haven't seen in maybe forty fifty years.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Can't wait, y oh guy, it's gonna be It's gonna
be fantastic because there's going to be something of course,
And then you know, I think how the Eagle or
how the Chiefs operate, like let's take the protection part
of it out of there. About how they operate down
the field I think will be really intriguing as well,
Like which which receiver is it going to be?

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Is gonna is going to step up?

Speaker 1 (23:13):
You know?

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Is it going to be uh DeAndre Hopkins?

Speaker 1 (23:16):
You know?

Speaker 3 (23:16):
Is are we going to find Juju Smith Schuster at
the sticks a bunch of times? Or and how did
the Eagles deal with Kelsey? Is it you know Reid
blank and ship or you know, Orrin Burke stepping into
a big role without Nakcobe Dean, Like, there's there's a
lot of combinations back there that I think will be
kind of interesting to see how how the Eagles try
to play this thing.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Yeah, no, it's uh, you know, I also want to
from the personnel side of things, I mentioned the talent
that the Kansas City Chiefs have a top five roster
and they have obviously Hall of Fame quarterback, hall of
Fame coach. So it's not like there's a huge, huge gap.
I give a slight edge there to Philly, but Brett Veach,
Hy Roseman work with both of them, and uh, you're
not gonna find better with how they've constructed these teams.

(23:56):
These are excellent, excellent teams they've put together. So I'm
looking forward to game. We are doing the halftime thing together.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
You better believe it.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
I mean tradition, like unlike any other Yeah. For those
that don't know, hey watch Kendrick Lamar. No, why would
you want to do that?

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Minutes?

Speaker 1 (24:13):
Yeah, of you and me, baby, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Just like this essentially, except we're in about twenty four
minutes right now.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
We'll have about six more minutes to go.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Yeah. Once we get don't have expectations high, and by high,
I mean expecting to see video highlights, right, You're not
allowed to do that.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
We might reenact them. We might actually we might actually
demo some of the some of the highlights for you guys,
So so it would be like.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
It's I'm already thinking like it would be like, okay,
like the chapstick, this is Xavier Worthy, okay, and then
this case is is Cooper dejen So he got by him,
he stacked him right and then broke off on a
corner and then it was just a bucket throw. You know,
it's just dropped in the bucket beautifully. I mean maybe
maybe it's the golf tea that kind of like goes
as the ball and kind.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
Of get one of those shaking football games, you know,
like what was the tape top things, you know, like
they like their way through.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Yeah, one of those. We can do that. But anyways,
I hope you'll join us on that. We'll have we
have some more pods coming your way late this week.
I think we'll be able to wrestle a Bucky away
from some Super Bowl live coverage to join. Well, there
you have it. That was the winning combination, presented by
Reese's Chocolate Lava Big Cup found wherever candy is sold.
I appreciate you guys hanging with us today. Uh, it's

(25:25):
going to be a fascinating week looking forward to a
great super Bowl as well as continuing on our draft discussion.
We will have all of it covered for you right
here on movie sticks,
