Welcome into The Alley and Donovan Show. And we have
a few shows in the month of December where what
we're going to do is we're going to review some
potential Christmas gifts that people could be buying for their friends,

we want to hear if you think this is a
worthy holiday gift for people. Second, that might take a
little longer than we have for the show. Skill, which
is why I love the game, just because you can

have recovered from the game that we played at beginning,
we're going to talk about some other holiday things. First
of all, I feel like dudes who are not yet
married do not always decorate for the holidays. Do you guys?

presented by Tico People's Gas, and you're the guys met

up with a Tampa area chef who taught them how
to make a delicious meal using the power of clean
and energy efficient natural gas. Going on. I'm Donovan Smith
here with Ali mar Pet and Tim from Chichios. Callie,
let us know what we got going on today? All right,
So today we're gonna make our hot and crunchy tuna. Um.
(12:21):
It's our most popular dish by far. So we're gonna
turn up a little heat so we can see our tuna. Um,
we're gonna see our tuna with a little bit of
black and seasoning on each side. So we're gonna start
by making that. We make our blacking season in the house.
We use a little bit of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder,

poman parsley regano nice for the heat you have to
with the blacking spice, and a little bit of black pepper.
We're also gonna add a little pinch pinch of salt
in there as well. It was an assault. Yeah, how
big are your pinsions? Go for it, man, you to
(13:02):
use those big hands. Well, not enough. We're gonna go
a little bit like throw it in there. So we
just mix that up, mix that together. So we'll go
a little black and little Asian theme, a little bit
of both kind of kinda yeah, So we're gonna kind
of have that hybrid and then we have a nice
piece of yellow fin tuna, really beautiful red color. We're

just gonna cut this um. One of the biggest stages
we're gonna have it diced at the end of it.
So what we're gonna do is we're gonna cut into
tuna steaks. So we're gonna go about an inch thick
and just cut that down just like that. Then you
go seer, seer, seer, seer, yep, and then that's it.
How we feel like house here thirty seconds a minute

where we do so, yeah, about thirty seconds. It's gonna
depend on how thick it is. We've got some heat
going on about thirty seconds, which is fine. We want
to get some nice heat to that because again we're
gonna go quick seer this really nice and heavily season
that you want to make sure you're coated on both sides.

pan as well. All right, so we're gonna get a
little bit of a sear to it. One you're gonna
count already. Second, don't lose account. Where were we at?

how about the second one. We'll flip it at the
same pace and it'll be a time four. Is that good. Alright,
So we got some nice color on there. Not too much,
you see, we still got nice and read. I'm not

don't know. I don't know. I feel good about it
either way. We got some nice color are on it,
all right. So we've got our seared black and tuna.
We're gonna cut it up and about half binch dice.
Al you want to take half charge of that, So
you want to start just by going along straight lines?

you're good just the way you all right there? So
we cut along that and then you're gonna turn it
and you're gonna cut the other way. So you're gonna
get your your square pieces or your dice, you're some
of this other stuff. Make sure you got enough space
on your your cutting board, and you're going to that's perfect.
So we're gonna keep going a little bit. It's just

kind of the process a little bit. Did I take
that from you? I didn't mean to do that. We're
having fun, so we're gonna I was thinking about. All right,
So we have our ours black and serried tuna. We're
gonna mix that with some cucumber hit him a slow,
which is just nicely fine shredded cucumber. Hit hima. You
know what a hit him is? No hit him us

always the menu. So hikima is kind of um, it's
almost like a texture of an apple. Um. But the
flavor basically, whatever you put on it, it's gonna take
take on that flavor. So in this case, we're gonna
full form. We're gonna use some soy sauce to give
it that flavor to some green on its scallion green
on you we did a little bit of scallion green onion.

We're gonna mix that together. And this is gonna be
our base for the HoTT and crunchy tuna. We got
some white rice. Yeah, but I'll feel like, well, we're
gonna get there. We're gonna we're gonna top it off
for this. Um. I can tell I'm excited for you. UM.
So we have our our hot and crunchy we build
it with our sticky rice there um, and then we

put our base over top of it. We're gonna take
this and just put a ride over top. Make sure
we get all that nice tuna in there, beautiful red
color mixed with that cucumber and hickuma. Um, and all
that soy sauce in there is gonna drip down as well.
We want to make sure we get all that in there.
So that is approaching heavy bowl. Thank you. That's like
that's that's that would be double protein. Do you think

so maybe I don't know, I'm gonna be perfect for you.
That's I mean, we we like to bring value to
the table, so we have that. We're gonna add a
little bit of our avocado vocado to lime juice and
salt to get it all creamy like that. So this
is just simply avocado salt, lime juice right to the top,

just to give it a little bit of fat and
a little bit of texture. We're also gonna add our
saraceli a little more fat heavy on this sauce. So
real simple was a little bit of mayo, a little
bit of saraco a little bit of soy, a little
(17:48):
bit of rice wine, vinegar, and some garlic as well. Um,
and this is where your favorite part comes in. There's
crispy tempore onions. Really my favorite part as well. Um,
gonna go right over the top here. Build it up
nice and I make sure we get good height from it. Yeah,
like in a moat like you know around And that's
our hot crunchy tuna again our most popular menu item

offense and on defense we got two takeaways and that
shows like if you do that, you can win games,

and we haven't been doing that, so that shows. That
was huge. And the defensive line had a huge performances. Well.
JPP pass the ten sack mark first time in years
for this franchise, and you guys have all people know
that he's pretty good at the football. Is a kind
of nice for you guys to Yeah, I was kind
of surprised. I feel like Gerald's gotta have been close again.
