(00:40):
Good Morning Win O three five Kiss FM, Chicago's number
one eight music station, talkback for tickets, Jonas Brothers, Jonas
Brothers tickets and it's also what Jason Thursday ticket takeover.
You were almost gonna take the day off and that
was gonna upset me deeply because it's Thursday. Tickets. Well,
it was gonna upset me deeply on a light of level.
But his Thursday take a takeover. Oh yeah, I'm sure
(01:02):
you love hearing that. I mean I can't well, but
we can't get you if you don't do that whatever,
the people won't really know. It's time to call, time
to call right now? Right well no, but Jonas Brothers
tickets all day and uh talk back for tickets as well,
and seven to fifty five will give it a keywords.
You get hooked up with that on the iHeartRadio app
used the talkback Mike to win Marriage Morris tickets. This morning,
(01:24):
We've got North Coast Music Festival tickets. And uh what
is that? That is that it? That's it. That's a lot,
a whole book full of lot going on. Look at it,
look at it, Look at how many every page is
full of Here he gets, he gets so frustrated with
me when I don't know exactly what's going on. Look
at the Bible, full pages of instructions of things that
(01:48):
are happening, and so I'm sorry it's so detailed. Way
it really is. Yes, yeah, I need I need like
in crayon, like simple Fred Fred Day, Yes, say Jonas
Brothers tickets now, Moron, That's what I needed to say. Also,
I want to thank everybody the Ronald McDonald House Charities
(02:09):
of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. We volunteered and cooked lunch yesterday,
which is no small undertaking. And I don't say that
because like we're special. I say that because if you volunteer,
and you should, they're always looking for people to help
cook meals there at the Ronald McDonald houses. You can
google Ronald McDonald House of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. I
always get it wrong. It's r mhc CNI dot org.
(02:30):
I believe the fact that I have that memorized. And
you can volunteer your office up to twelve people to
help cook lunches and help out with various things. There's
also like a little bit less time consuming activity, which
is you can make cookies there too. That was so fun.
We've done that as well. But this is serious. This
is a serious business, okay, Like we had to go
(02:51):
to culinary school in order to do this. Like you
show up and they get is this is real? This
is real stuff. Oh it's not a game. No, it
is not a game. We're making multi course meal where
I used cornstarch to thicken a sauce. I mean, what
is happening here? Like when did I become Emeralle Gassi?
I have no idea. No, it's amazing though. And what
(03:12):
they do there, providing a place for people to stay
while their kids are getting treatment, is incredible and they
offer it for free if you need it. And if
you think about that, I mean, imagine if you live
in anywhere in the world and you want your child
to be treated at Larry Children's Hospital because they're the
experts in whatever, and now you don't have to worry
about hundreds of dollars for a hotel and all these
(03:34):
different things. And it's really they try and provide a
like home environment, and they need volunteers, they need people
to come and help them with things. And yes, the
lunch staunch process was it's intense. Oh not again, it's intense.
I felt like Chef Chris. I felt like I was
on Hell's Kitchen or something. Yes, yes, unacceptable, what is
(03:56):
this garbage? It's crazy, but we got it done. We
got it done. And also Jason learned how to use
an industrial uh washing music the next level yeah next
you you right?
Speaker 2 (04:12):
We need some like instructions on the outside, maybe some
diagrams like I don't do that.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
The chiefs, I can't do it.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
That'd be a threesome. I mean a three way.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Fred show is on. Well it wouldn't be that, but
we keep that one in there because that was that
was fun. Yes, three super Bowls in a row is
called a threesome. Yeah, but people are always asking for him.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
The boys were like my joke last night on that podcast,
if they had.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Asked me, they would have, they would have. They seemed
very bro one screaming. But I'm normally I'm annoyed by bros.
And I wasn't annoyed hearing.
Speaker 5 (04:54):
I think it's because Taylor was there, probably, like Tony Down,
she calmed everything down for this.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Yeah, that's no one else needed to be there's, let's
face it, those two guys. Him thanking the heiress to
her is like the most understated thing he could do. Like, yes,
those guys are famous in their acclaimed athletes and they
have a nice podcast they do. They do a good job.
But if you're going to tell me that that didn't
just inject you know, nitro into the whole thing. Oh yeah,
(05:21):
you should be thanking Taylor Swift Nation for the gazillion
dollars you made last night and shutting the internet down.
There was one point three million people in the stream
that I was watching. She broke YouTube, which is crazy.
We've been trying to break YouTube for some time. That
would be my favorite thing. Let's go break you tube
this morning. Yeah, go break YouTube. Go on there, search
(05:44):
for the Fred Show. Break it and on the iHeartRadio
app as well, search for the Fred Show. And if
you missed the the New Heights podcast, New Heights Podcast
last night with Taylor Swift, it's on the iHeartRadio app. Hi, Kiki,
Good morning. Camon's on a way to do national television.
She's on News Nation in a little while today, in
a little while today, in a little wild this morning
in about an hour, so a News Nation with the
(06:05):
news anchor people. Yes, yeah, you should see the blowout.
She she's got big you know, news anchor hair ready
ago it's wild suit, Yes, Hi, Jason. It just throws
off when one of you is gone. It just throws
off my whole routine. It's just automatic in the order
in which we go and the names and it's just automatic.
And then and then she leaves and I'm just I'm on,
(06:26):
I'm distressed. It's okay, We're all creatures of habit. I'm stressed.
Show BEI Shelley one hundred and fifty bucks in the
show Down in about twenty minutes, will play. You can
stat for one game win streak and her loss number
seventy one and get some money. Waiting by the phone
is next? Why did somebody get ghosted? The ever been
left waiting by the phone? It's the Fred Show, Alexander,
(06:47):
Good morning, Welcome to the show. How are you. I'm
hanging in there. Thanks for helping me out today. Yeah,
So what's going on with this woman? Amy? How did
you meet? Tell us about any dates you've been on,
and then where things are now.
Speaker 6 (06:56):
Yeah, we met through the dating apps, and after you know,
talking to each other through that, we arranged to go
out on a date.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
It was a few weeks ago.
Speaker 6 (07:06):
We're both pretty busy and travel for work and all that,
so we had to find something to kind of work
for our schedules. And normally I would put in a
little more effort, but I really just wanted to meet
her and see if this would work, and so I
bought her flowers total gentleman the whole time, and we
were I felt like it was like going great. After
(07:27):
a couple of dreams, she just said she had to
get going, and then I never heard from her, no calls, texts, replies.
I didn't really over text too much because once you
don't hear back, you know, but like a couple of
times and then it's just nothing.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Wow, look at this guy flowers on the first day.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
That's very sweet.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Is that very nice? How often does that happen anymore?
I wonder? Probably not a lot? Right, Yeah? I mean,
and here he says he wanted to meet her, so
he didn't really plan much of a day because he
just wanted to get to and he was so excited
at me. There's one a sweet kind of is co'm on, Alexander,
how can this wo? When I call you back, I
don't know. I don't know. I was gonna say this
(08:07):
usually reason nonetheless, so honestly, so far, so good. Like
it seems like you put in some effort and you
wanted to meet her, you were excited about her, the flowers,
and you say you were a gentleman and the whole thing.
But for whatever reason, since to date, you have not
heard from her. She hasn't responded to you. It would
appear that you're being ghosted, and you want to know why,
right exactly? All right, Well, let's call Amy in just
a second. We'll play one song, we'll come back, we'll
(08:28):
do it. You'll be on the phone at some point.
You're welcome to jump in on the call. And the
hope is always is that we can straighten this out
and set you guys up on another date and pay
for that. Sound good? This sounds great, Alexander. Yeah, let's
call Amy. You guys met on a dating app and
you were super excited to meet her. You just described
so you you planned a date, kind of quickly, got
her some flowers, you went for drinks. You thought the
(08:48):
drinks went really well. But you have called and texted
and all these things since the date and she's not
responding to you at all, And you want to know
how did we go from what you thought was you know,
kind of a thought full, gentlemanly date to now nothing. Yeah,
I'm just kind of scratching my head here, so I
don't know. All right, Well, let's call Amy now, good luck, Alexander. Hello,
(09:15):
Hi is this Amy? Yeah, this is shape. Hi Amy,
good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling from the
Fred Show, the morning radio show. I have to tell
you the whole careers here we are on the radio,
and I would need your permission to continue with the call.
Can wach that for just a second?
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Agree you?
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Guys?
Speaker 3 (09:30):
I'm really on the way out the door.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Okay, Well you can just really quickly though. I'll just
get to it and you can hang up if you'd
like to. But a guy named Alexander reached out to us.
He says that he met you on a dating app
and you, guys recently went out. Do you remember meeting him?
Speaker 3 (09:45):
I do, Yeah, I do.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Okay, So what happened with this guy? Because we just
talked to him and he said he liked you a lot,
was excited about you, excited to meet you, and he
thought that the date went really well between you two.
Says he got you flowers and felt like he he
was a gentleman. But he hasn't heard from you since then,
and so he reached out to us and he was
hoping we could help him. So what's going on? Why
haven't you called this guy?
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Okay?
Speaker 7 (10:08):
You know, you know you're you know you're right he's
a nice guy, right, I mean, he's he's all so,
he's a lot of really good things.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
But honestly, you guys, he just tried way.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Too hard with the flowers. That was too much.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
Yeah, well, it was like, yeah, he flowers.
Speaker 7 (10:28):
It was kind of weird, how hot, like how hard
he was trying. It's like that little kid is like
see you know, the type of saying when you're you know,
and so he was a little aggressive about then aggressed
by that. And I wasn't entirely turned off, honestly, it
was it was kind of nice.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
But then, you know, we're.
Speaker 7 (10:48):
Sitting down and for dinner and he pulls something out
of his bag and he hands it to me, and.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
It's like this dog is like this stuffed dog.
Speaker 7 (11:02):
And then I get I'm like, oh, because I had
mentioned one time that I wanted to like rescue a
dog and but to call it, you know people that
foster dogs, Yeah, a dog fosterer, And.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
So I wanted to be a dog fosterer.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Yeah, I did.
Speaker 7 (11:17):
During dinner and like, in passing, I thought that would
be really great to have a dog, you know, and
especially a disabled dog and take it in.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
So she pulls out this stuffed dog and.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
My stuff dog, Like are we talking taxidermy stuff? Like
what are we talking? Like a clear we're talking about
stuffed animal.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
Here, not a taxi for me? Like like you know,
dumb makes no or wasn't anything like.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
Like a stuffed animal dog that he got for you
because you'd mentioned that you wanted to adopt. Okay, well
that's sweet.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Yes, that was kind of sweet.
Speaker 7 (11:50):
And then I'm looking at it and like he had
like cut off a leg of the like then he
say it was a straight face you guys.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
He cut off a leg and he showed it back
up to make the dog look disabled.
Speaker 8 (12:04):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (12:06):
Oh? I see so he so he was a three
legged dog doll that he gave you because okay, I
got oh wow, so a dog.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
So he made me one.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
You know, I mean you wanted to talk to disabled dog,
and I mean he didn't just give her any stuffed animal.
He gave her one that.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
Creepy creepy wow.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
The guys you can sew they should sell three legged dogs.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
How do you think the three legged dogs feel?
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Though? I agree, it's like it's like you calein when
you go to you know, Hawai no. Listen though, We'll
hear me out. When you go to Hawaii and they
had a little license place in the airport that you
can buy and they don't spell your name correctly, there's
no Caleb no. So this is the same way. If
I'm a three legged dog, I feel the same way.
Why is it that when I go to the store
to buy a dog of toy? Yeah, there isn't surely
(12:53):
there's a market for this. I think that I'm weird.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
Okay, weird, you guys are weird.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
I forgot to mention that Alexander is here, by the
way that I'm.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Say, Oh my god, no, Yeah, I just want to say.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
That A really hard on that and like women always say,
they want like a thoughtful, romantic man who listens and
all that.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
I even had I had a YouTube out of sew.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
I think she sounds a little.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
I mean, we have heard so much. This guy really
listened to her. But why did you cut the leg
off the dot? Because she wanted to adopt a disabled dog,
she said, So it wouldn't have it wouldn't have been
quite the same if he'd just given her a normal
dog toy.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
It's giving weird though, like He's in his basement with
a sewing machine that she got to do with your
foot and it's like braming out and dark and he's
chopping legs off stuffed dogs.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
That's weird. It is a dark room basement.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Cart I never say anything about a basement.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
But he did it in his bedroom, in his mom's house.
It wasn't It certainly was not in the basement of anything.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
I'm creeped out.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
I mean it is a little extreme, but at least
it proves Calin that he was listening. He was listening
to her when she talked, and he was trying to
give her a personalized.
Speaker 8 (14:04):
Gift, and that's hard to come by people that listen
to you.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Right, I'm not that mad at this. What are you
mad about, Kiki? This is weird.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
Like like I was with him until he cut the
man leg off or the dog.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Second, we didn't say this fan with Max Murderer. I
mean that's giving that.
Speaker 5 (14:24):
It's giving that, okay, Like I don't mess around with
people who want to pop heads off, dials and like
arms and legs and you're cutting the leg off the
stuff animal, like you didn't have to go that far.
I was with him like I was like, oh, that's cute.
He brought her a little dog and maybe said, you know,
in the future we can foster together, Like that's cute.
But to actually cut off the leg that is weird.
(14:44):
That is weird, and you did.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Yeah, I know, Alexander, I see both sides here. I'm
trying to give you the benefit of the doubt because
we've had some real jerks call up. Here is a
nice way of saying it. And it does sound like
you were paying attention. It does sound like you wanted
to be thoughtful and give her a personalized gift. But
I can also see why that's a strange gift to
give somebody. It is a strange, It is a strange
(15:08):
thing to do. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 6 (15:11):
I feel like I'm unfairly getting grouped in with the
popping heads off of dolls.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Yeah, crowd, that's your people, that's your people.
Speaker 6 (15:23):
To put into that category unfairly right there, I believe.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
Okay, but early, it's too early to be that, too.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Early to be that.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
Everybody knows women you can't please them. Everybody knows that
the three legged dog trick is a third date thing.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
Like never, that's's never time for that. It's not we're
not late, we're not on like, never do that.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
What did you do with the other piece? Where's the
other piece of the lake? Where's the leg?
Speaker 7 (15:50):
Right?
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Okay? Look so I mean, Amy, look, we've heard worse.
Would you give the guy another chance? It is a
little weird, but I mean no.
Speaker 7 (16:00):
No, no, no, no, no, it's nice enough.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
But you know what, just just just okay, now.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Well you just see the voodoo do all that Alexander
has of you? Though, no, I'm kidding, of course you
don't Alexander, do you? Right? No, I don't. Okay, see
he doesn't say he doesn't do I'm sorry, dude. I
can see what I can see where your mind was.
The execution was a little off, but I can see
where you I can see what you were thinking. Okay,
and I'm a little aggressive but thoughtful nonetheless, so what
(16:34):
maybe we just pumped the brakes a little bit with
the next one when we get excited about and god forbid,
I don't know what other hobbies they could say that
they have.
Speaker 8 (16:41):
But I don't you stay strong, you listen to women,
and you don't ever change you rock, don't ever.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
Me change a little like it just like a little
slight bit changed a little, but guys, Alexander Amy, thank
you for your time. Best of luck to both of you. No.
One's entertainment report is on the Press show.
Speaker 8 (16:58):
Netflix has a quite a two part documentary film called
Aka Charlie Sheen, which of course chronicles the star struggles
with fame leading to his very infamous firing from Two
and a half Men, followed by his path to sobriety
and I'm sure somewhere in between that is like the
whole dragon blood thing.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
I think that was what he used to say.
Speaker 8 (17:17):
The documentary also features his family, friends and celebrities like
Denise Richards she's his ex of course, Sean Penn, the actor,
as well as the Hollywood Madam Heidi fly so were
he talked about this week, and his drug dealer Marco,
which I hope he's using a fake name or I
don't know if they're gonna blur his face or maybe
he's no longer a drug dealer. But if you kids
do not know who Charlie Sheen is, you need to
(17:39):
watch this. He is a wild boy. That will drop
September tenth on Netflix, by the way, and everyone's talking
about her today and We'll talk more about the podcast
and her new album next hour. But Zoe Kravitz just
dropped a wild story about Taylor Swift and how she
let Zoe and her mom, Lisa Bonnet, which like two
of the most beautiful people I've ever seen, but I
(18:00):
digress crashed in her twenty five million dollar Beverly Hills
mansion for two weeks.
Speaker 3 (18:05):
I think it was during the Hollywood fires. Don't quote
me on that part.
Speaker 8 (18:08):
But they then accidentally destroyed Taylor's bathroom because Lisa's pet
snake or fheus got loose and slithered into Taylor Allison
Swift's wall. They had to call her house manager, who
came with a crowbar to quote tear apart the tiles
and the walls. Zoe then called Taylor to confess, and
she was like, yeah, I already know. I'm sure that
(18:29):
a lot happens without her knowing. But they let their
pet snake loose in Taylor Swift's house, in her walls.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
Jelly roll. This is a feel good story. I feel
like we all need it.
Speaker 8 (18:38):
This Week has partnered with the Grand ol Opry to
perform two show September twenty second in support of Nashville,
the Judge Dinkin's Educational Center and it provides juvenile vocational
training for at risk adolescents as well as the Buddy
to Ford Charitable fun starting to honor Jelly Roll's late
father and he's always doing really good stuff for the community.
(19:00):
Bailey Zimmerman and a couple other people are also going
to perform as well as I'm sure Jelly is going to.
And Miranda Lambert, she just like keeps doing amazing stuff
as well. Her Mutt Nation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company
awarded two hundred and fifty five thousand dollars in surprise
grants to animal shelters as part of their MutS Across
America program. It's a foster based rescue in every state
(19:24):
and each of them got five thousand dollars along with
a wild card pick. And she's just been helping out
amid all of these natural disasters because sometimes people don't
think about the animals, but they need our help too.
By the way, if you miss any part of our show,
want to catch up on all the things. Taylor typed
a Fred show on demand and if you could set
us as a preset on the free I hurt radio.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Do you have what it takes to battle show biz?
Shelley in the show Biz Showdown bi heizz Shi, Good morning.
Thoughts on Taylor Swift? Did you watch every second of it? No?
Speaker 4 (19:58):
I did it. I've been watching clips. I don't have
two hours, but no, it's so cute. They're cute. I
like it, and I've been enjoying the clips I've been
watching too.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
You can't be like, hey, kids, I need you to
relax here a minute. I'm sure Shelley and I need
to watch this.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
I did try to.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
I was like Olivia, Taylor Swift, Taylors.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
So she, oh, don't worry.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
No, already knows because the kids come pre programmed now,
like from from Apple or you know whatever. Like I'm
telling you, these kids already know who Taylor Swift is.
It's like part of their DNA.
Speaker 4 (20:29):
Now I know. So yeah, I'm gonna have to. I
want to make sure she knows. Uh, you know, she's
got to get into her pop culture soon. I'm gonna
have to teach her about the songs and everything.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
So that's right, yeah, yeah, I mean she has to
follow in her mom's footsteps. She does. I recommend some
form of influencer campaign or something. Get her right on
Instagram right now?
Speaker 5 (20:49):
God?
Speaker 1 (20:50):
Hey, is it Leah or Lee Leah? Leah? Oh my god,
it's Leah. How you doing.
Speaker 5 (21:00):
I'm part of a thirteen man.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
I love you, guys, Hey, I love you for that.
Thank you? All right, Shelley takeing time. You gotta lose.
One hundred and fifty bucks is the prize? Your record
one thousand and forty wins and only seventy loss is
one game win streak though, because we had a pad
of g earlier in the week. So hey, let's see
how this goes. Good. So it is Leah, right, yeah, Leah, Okay, good,
(21:23):
Let's play the game. Good luck, guys, Okay, good luck?
Speaker 5 (21:27):
Oh my god?
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Yeah? Whatever? Yeah right, peace out? Lose you gonna lose
question number one. Joe Jonas seemingly confirmed that there will
be a third installment of this Disney movie starring he,
his brothers, and Demi Lovado, named the movie Camp Rock.
Jerry Jones shared that he beat Stage four Melanoma years ago,
(21:52):
which NFL team is. He the owner of Man fifteen,
the Pirates of the Caribbean Producers, and he thinks Johnny's
app would be open to return to the franchise. What
is his character's name in the movies? Jack Barrow Luke
(22:13):
Bryan started a TB twelve chant at his show in Massachusetts,
tricking the audience into thinking that this iconic quarterback was
coming out. Name the quarterback?
Speaker 5 (22:24):
Oh, I don't know?
Speaker 1 (22:30):
And which anxiety and denial is? A river rapper turns
twenty seven? Today? We only played the song like e
We played like like twice an hour. Yeah, roll you
got it too?
