Speaker 7 (04:00):
Out here because all I did this morning was sit
at the porch outside the studio. I walked in here
and put my laptop down, and I think I broke
my ankle, okay, and.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
So I need some milk. That's that's I need some
How do you think you how do you think you
broke what?

Speaker 8 (04:18):
It hurts?

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Okay? Yes, so your ankle hurts. Welcome to getting into
your thirties?

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Is that? What is this? No?

Speaker 1 (04:26):
This is what happens. Kayln knows this. I mean, what
was it a year or two ago? Kaylen put on
some pants and she threw her back.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Out, dislocated three ribs with some leather leggings.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
What was it? Alcohol involved? Absolutely not, that's a sad part.
I got out of bed once about a year ago.
I couldn't walk for a week. I didn't do anything.
I just stood up. That's because you laughed at me.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
This is not no.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
I shouldn't have laughed at you. But then again, the
leather leggings visual and you you know, fracture dropping to
the ground, right right, Yeah, I mean honestly, it really was.
That's a visual that, you know. Yeah, kind of makes
me giggle a little bit. It makes me cordal. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
I had.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
You have to shake to get your leggings on sometimes,
you know, and I shook too much.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (05:08):
Yes, I think my ankle's broken. I'm just sitting here.
I haven't moved well.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
I don't think it's broken, and I suppose it could
be it's sprained. But did you like roll it or
what do you think you did?

Speaker 7 (05:17):
I just walked in here, and I'm like, maybe it's
the flip flops. I don't know, but whatever. I didn't
really do anything but come sit down like I normally do.
And now I think I've broken a bone. So I
think we need to drink more milk. I know I
don't get enough vitamin.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
D, so I don't think that has anything. I don't
think it's osteoporosis. I don't think so. I don't have
a medical license currently, but I don't think. But I
think this is just what happens when you get a
little bit older. I don't like this. This is not right.

Speaker 7 (05:45):
You know, it's in the bathroom on ourselves. Those are
breaking bones.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
That has nothing to do with it. Agent has to
do with willpower, I think, and attention to your body.
You know Caylen can't put all other leggings anymore or without.
It's a traumatic time.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
He does have a tour knee.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Yeah, I got it. I'm just walking. Oh, I gotta
be honest with you. I'm I'm very concerned if you
already can't make it to the bathroom, I'm very worried
about I'm recuperating, Jason bred I'm gonna get you depends.
I'm just gonna go ahead and get them for you.
I'm gonna need them. And did you fall or just
just walking here? See it? Yeah, you have to read
they're performing knee search. Man.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
You from walking, I'm literally walking to my desk care.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah, you call the paramedics. Minkme broke, That's what worth as.
We need some milk. I'm gonna call the dairy guy
and the paramedics are both gonna show up. The milkman
and the paramedic show in the same thing. I'm good.
We got a bunch of teachers going back to work.
Thank god. We love the teachers. All the people who
supported us all summer. You guys listen long and hard,
and we appreciate it. That's what we expect of you,

(06:48):
the Mighty thirteen. But the teachers are back in the students,
which means mom's driving. Never been left waiting by the phone.
It's the Fred Show. Hey, Cody, good morning, welcome to
the program. How are you?

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Hey, good morning. I wasn't expecting you to say program.
So how we confuse? Now?

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Well, I mean this is what I say. That's how
I say it, So deal with it, Cody, Cody, be nice.
I'm helping you out right now. So anyway, you're on
the program, and uh, what's going on with this woman Whitney?
We got to know the whole backstory. How did you meet?
Tell us about any dates you've been on and where
things are now?

Speaker 5 (07:22):
Oh, actually, so it's pretty cool. We met in person,
which is nice. Like I saw I met a wild
in the lid. It never happened, and I just feel
like it's great in the wild because there's you can
kind of like already know if there's chemistry. It's almost
like half of the first date, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah,
So I just got our number at a bar. I

(07:43):
was like, hey, let's, you know, hang out later. Sure,
so we did just like the standard, like, hey, let's
grab a drink.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Right.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
That was a few days later. It went pretty well.
We didn't want the night to end, so she was like, ah,
why don't we just hang out at my place. I'm like, oh, yeah, okay, sure,
why not?

Speaker 7 (07:59):
Right?

Speaker 5 (08:01):
Oh that was pretty good stuff. And then I don't
know something happened between then and now that I don't know.
I need help like figuring it out, because.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Okay, now, yeah, so you met in the wild, which
you pointed out. It is kind of like, that's an
interesting way of putting it. It's kind of like a
half a date, because I think when you meet people
on the dating apps or on the websites or whatever
it is, you know that's you don't really know what
you're getting exactly, or if there's chemistry or how they
act or whatever. So in this case, you were able
to sort of feel that out when you met in person,

(08:31):
so you knew there was chemistry because she gave you
her number. She could have said no, so you were
already kind of out to a head start. And then
I would say, any date that you go on where
you wind it back at somebody's place, and that kind
of stuff is going on. I would say that's all
a good sign. So all of this good stuff happened,
except you cannot get a hold of Whitney since the date,
and you want to know why.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
Yes, you got it exactly.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Okay, Well, let's play one song. We'll come back in
a couple of minutes. We're gonna call Whitney. You'll be
on the phone, and the hope is that we can
get the story, we can figure out what's going on.
We can straighten everything out and then set you guys
up on a I guess would be a second formal
date and.

Speaker 5 (09:07):
Pay for it.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
All right, I would love that, Hey, Cody, Yeah, all right,
let's call Whitney. You met at a bar, so you
met out in the wild, and you kind of felt
the whole thing out, got her phone number, set up
a date, you went on a date, drink states, and
wound it back at her place. I guess all that
stuff went well, but you have not been able to

(09:29):
get a hold of her since the date, and you
want to know why. Yeah, definitely, all right, let's call
her now. Good luck? Hi, is this Whitney. Yeah, Hey Whitney,
good morning. My name I'm getting there, Yeah, pushy and

(09:49):
again I called you, so maybe I should be. My
name is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred Show, the
morning radio show, and I have to tell you that
we are on the radio right now, and I would
need your permission to continue with the call. Can which
have for just a second the show? Would you mind?

Speaker 7 (10:01):
What?

Speaker 5 (10:02):
No, you're on a radio? Is this a dot? What's happening?

Speaker 1 (10:06):
No, it's very real. But I just need you to
say yes, and I can tell you why I'm calling. Okay,
that's a yes. Good. We're calling on behalf of a
guy named Cody. He says that you guys met out
in the wild at a bar and set up a
date recently went out. Do you remember this guy?

Speaker 5 (10:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Okay, Well, so what happened with him? Because we just
heard a whole thing about how he met you out
and it felt like there was chemistry and he felt
like the date went well, and yet he can't get
a hold of you since the date s bugging him.
Feels like you're ghosting him. Sounds like maybe you are.
So what happened? What's your side of the story?

Speaker 8 (10:40):
Well, the story is that Cody seemed pretty great and
normal at first, even like he was nice, like he
was compassionate when we first met at the bar and
on our date even but the issues really came after
the date when we got back to my house.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Okay, so I introduced him to my dog and he
kept calling my dog fat.

Speaker 8 (11:03):
Like first he made one comment about my dog being
sick and then sick.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
He just kept calling your dog sick.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
With like extracise.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
I thought that was an adjective that was reserved for humans.
I didn't realize that we were objectifying dogs now. But okay,
so he said your dog was thick.

Speaker 5 (11:24):
Yeah, I just kept going after that. He was like,
the dog's sick.

Speaker 8 (11:27):
Her name is Melinda, and he kept calling her fat Linda,
like giving me lessons on how unhealthy Melinda is and
like staying that like she's just I don't know.

Speaker 5 (11:40):
It was awful. She was probably my baby, mind you.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
So yeah, everybody else, right, this is like people treat
their animals like their their children, like they're they're part
of the family, right, and take a lot of pride
in it. And and so you don't go in, you
wouldn't call And I realize it's different. Don't don't at me,
but you wouldn't call anyone's child fat.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
And I don't know why. We're just getting to know
someone and we're telling this beloved creature in their lives, uh,
in their life, that that that they're fat. I mean,
it's like you're dissing you're dissing the dog, and you're
dissing the person owner of.

Speaker 5 (12:11):
The dog seriously, like she's not fat, she's just big.

Speaker 8 (12:14):
Dang.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah, he had a nickname, fat Linda. Melinda. That's right.
I forgot to mention that Cody is here. Cody. How
would you feel if somebody called you fat?

Speaker 5 (12:28):
I would say, hey, great, you have eyes that work.
I would know I was fat. I was that sick.
Melinda is fat.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
You don't need to say that. Maybe everybody knows Melnda's fat, okay,
but you don't need to say it. You don't need
to say it in the room. Sounds like there was
an elephant in the room. But you didn't need to
say it. You know, you didn't need to say it,
Like you don't diss people's animals.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
Dog all right, you say you love the dog. That
dog's gonna die.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Die like that dog is not stop talking like this.
Why are you talking like this?

Speaker 5 (13:05):
Say that?

Speaker 8 (13:06):
Don't put that out there.

Speaker 5 (13:07):
First of all, I love the dog. Don't think I
don't love my dog. She is my child.

Speaker 8 (13:12):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
This is why I That is why I ghosted you.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Maybe she's working on it.

Speaker 5 (13:17):
Food, then your dog loves you like you may pay
they talk down to a healthy weight.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
If you love it, maybe Melenda's going to go zempeg
or you know, maybe maybe Melnda's working on it. Maybe
we're exercising more, maybe we change our diet. Maybe we didn't.
Isn't that Whitney's business? Like, I don't know why you
come in hot insulting someone's animal, Like, I don't know
why you would do that.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
I'm not giving her news that she didn't know, and
I feel like I'm coming out of a place of compassion.
I'm like, listen, that dog's gonna die, like if you
don't get to.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
Lose weight, Like, that's not what I'm saying that. Man,
you seem really insensitive.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
No, because I'm saying it because I do care about
the dog. I'm like, that dog is not going to
live for a long time.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
I can't.

Speaker 5 (14:03):
I don't like you You're not gonna sit here and
say that my dog.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
I don't even want to.

Speaker 8 (14:08):
We're not putting this out in the universe anymore. I
can't do this.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
You're that's not right.

Speaker 8 (14:12):
You're evil if you feel this way about dogs, like
that's awful.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
I love, I love.

Speaker 5 (14:18):
Who cares about the dog? I'm going out here to
lose weight. So the dog? Okay, like fifteen to sixteen, Kiki.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
What would you say if well, I don't know how
they would say this about Lucks. I mean, lush lexis
cute and Petite was staring. Yeah dog, I would stand
beside my fine if leffy dog, thank you? I said,
you're right, that's right talking about my dog. Yeah. I
mean we haven't seen you, Cody, but I suppose we
could probably take a look at you and and and

(14:46):
you know, make a few pointers.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
Hey, if I was that sick, I wouldn't be like
what what howld you? I'd be like, yeah, that makes sense.
You're right.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
I know that you don't have to point out everything
that you observe, Cody, especially when it comes to people's
animals or you know, things that they're proud of. If
you're trying to make a good impression. Who's to say
that maybe over time, you know, you couldn't as you
maybe if you date her or something, you couldn't say, hey,
we should go on more walks or you know, I
don't know. I'm worried about this dog's weight. I want
this dog to live forever. You're taking the other perspective.

(15:15):
It's the dog's gonna die like that's.

Speaker 5 (15:16):
Not it's a bulling ball, like that was a sick dog.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
You're still going this, dude, Yeah, this is gonna He
doesn't get it. He doesn't.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
It just wasn't.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
It's not a considerate thing to do. It's not appropriate.
And even if you were concerned, it's not. You didn't
go about it in a in a kind subtle way,
which is what you got to do when you're first
making an impression with someone. So now i'll ask the question.
I know the answer. Whitney would like to go out
with Cody again? We'll pay for it. Yeah I didn't
think so, all right, Cody, work on your delivery man,
work on you.

Speaker 5 (15:48):
Look again. I thought I was coming at it from
a place from love, but I mean, it is what
it is.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
I want that dog.

Speaker 5 (15:54):
You are help, but for now she's just like a sausage.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Well then be loving man like be. I don't know,
you don't get it. Whitney, thank you for your time.
I appreciate you. Cody, good luck to you as well.
Cawen's Entertainment Report. He's on the Freas Show.

Speaker 6 (16:11):
Patrick Blackwood and Nina Unrated are counting their blessings after
that near death experience when a car crashed through a
restaurant window while they were doing a food review for TikTok.
If you haven't seen it, they've been going viral all
week because of this. Of course that means there's video
of it because they were in the middle of filming.
Nina walked away with a big gash on a wrist,
while Patrick with a chest injury and a big cut

(16:33):
on his thigh.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
They're both honestly lucky to be alive. If you saw it,
you know that.

Speaker 6 (16:37):
And they're literally, if you have not seen it, sitting
next to each other in a booth by a window
at and I hope I'm saying you're right Coov's Culinary
Creations in Houston. When this car hits the window, shattering
glass all over them and their table, and they kind
of like jump out of the way.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Nina claims that she.

Speaker 6 (16:53):
Says she heard cops say that the woman driving suffered
from dehydration, and the cops did confirm that the driver
wasn't intoxicated when she hit the restaurant. And they've actually
already been back to that restaurant to try the food
they said, which is wild. I mean, I'm sure they
had a different table. I wouldn't never step foot in
that place again. That video is insane, insane. A French

(17:16):
streamer speaking of the Internet named John or Jean poor Mavone.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
I do hope I'm saying it right.

Speaker 6 (17:22):
It's a French name known for extreme content, died earlier
this week, and rapper Drake and streamer Aiden Ross have
offered to foot the bill for his funeral.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Drake has streamed with Aidan before. I feel like Drake
is kind of a big streamer now, which is wild.

Speaker 6 (17:35):
And I guess Aiden asked if you wanted to help
go in on it. And this internet personality was in
the middle of a ten days streaming marathon that seemed
like kind of like torture to his followers, but cops
say they didn't suspect anything suspicious after his death, but
they're looking into it. And Fred, this is the study
I teased, and you were absolutely right. I saw this
on the rap Instagram. It's just at rip. Studies suggests

(17:59):
that the music we listen into between the ages of
thirteen and seventeen can leave a profound and lasting mark.
Adolescence is a time of heightened emotions and rapid change,
making the music a really powerful tool for expression and
emotional regulation. Song from these years often become linked to
these meaningful memories, giving them lasting emotional significance. Shared tastes

(18:20):
can even deepen social connections and play a role in
shaping identity. Because of this, those preferences formed in our
teen years often stick with us. So maybe the music
wasn't better at that time like we all feel like
it was. Maybe it was just we were more affected
by it.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
But I can Yeah, I think everyone thinks that the
music was better, right. Everyone thinks their generation or whatever
connects with them the most is the best music. Of course,
But I and maybe in some ways that's true, But
I also think it's because we have the most memories
attached to it. Yes, because it was I probably argue we,
you know, the more transformational times in our lives. Oh yeah,
we can connect with memories as opposed to times. It

(18:57):
might be a little more, you know, Mundane Roots team.
There were so many emotions at that time. Oh yeah,
lots of emotions. No bills at a time. Yeah, snow backs. Yeah.
Can you found out someone's parents were gonna be out
of town? I remember when I was little kid, I
used to, like really little, I used to and now
I you know, there's not as much stuff set in
the mail, but I used to want mail. You know.
We'd walk down to the mailbox in our neighborhood and

(19:19):
I'm like, I didn't have any mail like that that
ever came for me. So my mom would pretend the
junk mail was for me. Now, every time I get mailed,
it's I owe somebody something. I don't want it. No,
I don't want mail. I don't want it, But stop
sending it to me. I can't open it.

Speaker 6 (19:33):
It just piles up, and then I like run from
the pile. I don't know, it's really really about.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
To always somebody said, trying to get some out of me.
I don't have nothing to get right, stop it. I
am ignoring you on purpose. You don't have to send
me a lesson letter to mail. Oh yeah, I don't
want it.

Speaker 5 (19:47):
I love to give.

Speaker 6 (19:48):
By the way, if you're a new friend or you
haven't found us on social, you can go to Instagram.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
On the Free I heart ride you at all. Right, guys,
we have AI and cheating detectors now on the show.

Speaker 8 (20:10):
We have to.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
We've evolved. We have to because you would apparently people
are cheating now like these interviews. People are going back
to real live interviews now because people are using AI
to cheat on interview questions. This is crazy. What's the
world come to? Shelby Shelley, We're up to three hundred
and fifty bucks. She's won fourst trade a couple ties
in there. We think there was Shenanigans yesterday.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
We do.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
But Shelley's record is one forty three wins only seventy
losses all the time, which is huge. She's very good
at this game. But the cheat code is if you
listen to the entertainer reports, that's where we get the
questions from. So you should know the answers already, and
people should be winning every day if you just listen
long and hard. And I said earlier that you've been
listening long and hard. And I don't want to be greedy,

(20:51):
like I appreciate the fact that you know, you guys
are the thirteen have really stood up. Yeah, they're making
little graphics in the company now about us. I don't
know why they haven't been doing that for years, but
all of a sudden, now it's like you're number one.
Let's let's pay attention. Oh that's crazy, unbelieve. It's like
all those guys they're here, they still work here. We
forgot about them. But it's all because of you guys
who listened to us. And we appreciate the loyalty on
the radio and the iHeart app. It all counts. It's

(21:13):
all important. But if you'd like to take on Shelley
three fifty eight five five five nine one one, do
you have what it takes to battle show biz? Shelley
in the show Biz Show Show Shelley. Morning, Shelley. You
know you're a legend around these parts. You've been on

(21:34):
the show for a very long time. You've been answering
these questions for years, since you were a young, sprite,
eighteen year old.

Speaker 5 (21:41):
That is true.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
Yes, it's been a while, and you've been with us forever.
One thousand and forty three wins, seventy losses, you know
all when it comes to pop culture and today, Rebecca,
and I don't mean to make this too daunting for you,
Rebecca with an intro like that, how could you possibly win?

Speaker 3 (21:55):
You know.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
What's going on? Guys?

Speaker 3 (21:58):
How are you doing?

Speaker 1 (21:59):
Hey? Morning? The fun fact about you, Rebecca, is.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
What fun fact about me? I consider myself a burger
kind of sewer. So I've got a list of places
ranked in Chicago that me and my friends.

Speaker 5 (22:12):
Like to go to every so often.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
Okay, well for the Chicago for our friends of Chicago,
which is most of our friends and uh and and
for tourists people who want to come to town. And
this is an extremely controversial topic. I'm not even sure
if we should go there. This might be more controversial
than what's happening right now politically. But what is number
one on the list. What is not your number one?
Number one?

Speaker 3 (22:32):
And take into consideration, right, there's a lot of things
that go into these rankings, not just the burger, but
Beyonce right, the vibe. Leavitt Street is number one, top
of the list right.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Now, you know, I don't think I've had that. And okay,
so for everybody else, number one fast food burger for
you is what you got? Okay, but I mean national
fast food like you're you're saying Chicago. You gotta remember
there are people in mine, not in North Dakota that
they can't go there, Okay, so where are they.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
Going to go?

Speaker 5 (23:01):
Yeah? That's fair.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
I mean Cover's is that?

Speaker 1 (23:04):
Yeah, covers Hits. It's not as good delivered. I'll tell
you you need to eat it right away in my opinion. Yeah,
and I have to tell you. And this is very generic,
I know, but I'm a five guys. I think five
guys a little upper end on the burger scale. It's expensive,
but they're delicious. Right, that's five star for me around here.
But McDonald's time in and time and time again. McDonald's

(23:26):
never lets me down. It never lets me down no
matter where I am. If I see at McDonald's I
know exactly what I'm going to get and that makes
me very happy. Speaking of nostalgia. But let's play the game.
It's five pop culture questions. Three hundred and fifty bucks
is the prize? Are you ready?

Speaker 5 (23:43):
I am ready. Let's do it.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
Okay, me too? Good luck? All right, you gotta go,
Shelly Rebecca. Question number one. The Jonas Brothers surprise fans
at their Virginia show by performing mbop with this iconic
nineties boy band to know. I know you're not cheating up,

Minister of reportedly already ended their fling name him, and
Zoe Kravitz said she has already heard parts of Taylor

Zoe's famous father? That's a three, not a bad score.
You cleaned it up. She cleaned it up. I don't
know if it's gonna hold, but we'll see Shelley's coming back.
She do three? Okay, not bad? Question number one for you,
the Jonas Brothers surprise fans at the Virginia show by

(25:10):

you missed it then, and you are a handsome fan
so torn up? She was torn up by it, guys.
I'm sorry to bring up this this dark moment for you.

Speaker 5 (25:25):
Bob.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
And if you've been listening for a while, you know
that Shelley stole. She stole from Hanson's family home. She's
a real story. We'll have to tell it sometime. Which
singer is sparking dating rumors with the NFL quarterback Justin
Herbert after he was spotted on the set of her
music video Madison Beer. Madison Beer is right a guy
impersonating this Daisies singer trick The staff at Excess nightclub

(25:49):
in Vegas and perform several songs before they realized it

Speaker 1 (26:01):

Swift's new album, The Life of a Showgirl, saying there
are no skips. Who is Zoe's famous father?

Speaker 8 (26:10):

Speaker 1 (26:10):
That's it. Lenny Kravitz is right. That is a five.
That is a win. Rebecca the burger expert, you did
a good job, but you're gonna have to say my
name is Rebecca. I got showed up on a showdown.
You know the rest.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
Oh, you hate to see it, but good job, Jelly
when I got a note of bomb the showdown and

to be able to host it. You know, some people
